Papyrus was practically beaming at the opportunity he had caught by the horns that morning. What a spectacular way to start his day! He’d been only a little worried that she might shoot down his idea. Okay, he had been very worried. Especially considering she had explained she planned to do chores today as well. Thank goodness, his brilliant mind was in tip top shape today! And he didn’t have the little human here to fluster him. It had also been lucky that Blue was there. The excitable version of his brother had been quite eager to help him convince her to come over once he realized who he was texting and what was going on.
“REMIND HER HOW MUCH SHE LOVED OUR MASTER BATH!” “SHE’S SUPPOSED TO BE PAMPERING HERSELF AND RESTING. CHORES ARE NEITHER OF THOSE!” “WE CAN ASSIST HER WITH THOSE CHORES IF THEY REALLY NEED TO BE DONE…” “TELL HER I’LL GET MY BROTHER’S HOODIE FOR HER!”
That last suggestion he remembered had resulted in a long pause before Blue had laughed awkwardly under Papyrus’s questioning and only slightly judging gaze. His judgemental gaze was soon pulled to his phone as she had replied with a wide-eyed emoji and then stars and then finally:
Fluffy: Promise?
He didn’t know whether to be impressed by Blue or disappointed in his friend that it had taken the simple promise of a hoodie to get her to agree so quickly. Was it because it was Stretch’s specifically? There was no way to tell since they had not offered anyone else’s clothing. It stung for some reason. Idly, he rubbed at his sternum to ease the odd pain away as he sent a reply back.
CoolDude: THE GREAT PAPYRUS! AND MALEFICENT BLUE! NEVER BREAK A PROMISE.
CoolDude: WE’LL BE OVER IN JUST A FEW MINUTES TO PICK YOU UP
Fluffy: Could you give me thirty?
Fluffy: I need to get dressed and pack a bag.
CoolDude: OFCOURSE! SEE YOU SOON!
Needless to say, it wasn’t long after the two had convinced her to come over that the whole household was made aware they would have a guest today in the family group chat. Blue had run off to find his brother with a promise to come back in time to go. Papyrus assumed he was going to try and convince his brother to give up his hoodie for the day. They technically didn’t need it till later though. Most likely she would be rushing off to the bathroom as soon as she stepped foot into their home.
Pocketing his phone, he settled into finishing the task Blue had been helping him with. There were only a few more dishes left to clean from their late breakfast--brunch? Was it still technically too early for brunch? Shrugging, he lost himself in cleaning and tried not to watch the clock obsessively. So hyper focused, he didn’t notice his brother shortcutting into the kitchen just beside him.
○●○●○●○●○
Sans just watched Papyrus currently wiping at the same spot on the counter for what seemed the umpteenth time. “hey, bro, think you missed a spot,” he finally decided to make presence known. He was rewarded with very on brand screech as his taller sibling nearly jumped through the ceiling in surprise. Quite a feat considering they had purposely high ceilings.
“SANS!!!” Sans’ lazy perma smile just perked up as his brother stomped a foot and crossed his arms, sockets narrowing. “WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT USING SHORTCUTS IN THE HOUSE?!” Papyrus scolded, foot tapping away.
“not to,” he answered without a care. His tone said it all. He’d do it again and again. This was a war Papyrus would not win. He bit back a laugh as his brother just sucked in a breath, palms pressed together in a praying motion in front of his teeth. “aw, paps, come on, it’s not that bad,” he pleaded playfully.
“YOU ARE CORRECT,” Papyrus started and Sans arched a brow bone in mild surprise, “IT’S NOT THAT IT’S BAD. IT IS SIMPLY FRUSTRATING THAT YOU HAVE TWO PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL LEGS AND YET, YOU FIND EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO NOT USE THEM!”
Sans just smiled in turn and that smile just stretched wider as he watched his brother literally flinch and glare even harder. “NO.” His sockets were practically curling with how big his smile was getting as Papyrus continued to command him to cease. It was too late though. It was already in motion.
“just trying to get a leg up on life, bro.” It was like music to his nonexistent ears as Papyrus screeched that signature NYEH! of his. He would have tossed a few more puns his brother’s way, but… “so, what has your spine in a twist?” While he could guess what had his brother stressing--considering a certain human was visiting today--it did not hurt to ask.
His brother’s lazy pun had done its job to lighten his mood significantly. He had expected more, but instead Sans had thrown a curveball. The question was sobering. He wasn’t stressed. He wasn’t worried. He wasn’t… right? Picking up the rag he had used to clean the counters, he brought it to the sink and started ringing it out. “MY SPINE IS PERFECTLY ALIGNED AS USUAL, SANS,” he replied, tossing the rag in to a small hamper just outside the connected laundry room.
Silence followed and he could feel his brother’s eyelights boring into his back. “uh huh…” Yeah, that tone said he hadn’t believed a word of it. Rather than pushing with words, his brother had settled for simply staring and tapping at the counter. It was a battle of wills at this point.
Just as the tapping of his brother’s phalanges against the countertop was starting to tick away his resolve, the tension was shattered as Blue reentered the kitchen with his own brother in tow. Papyrus could hear the energetic version of his brother nagging at his lazy self to wash his hoodie before lending it out. Finally turning around, he aimed a bright smile at the swapped brothers; pointedly, he ignored his brother’s judging gaze. “BLUE, I SEE YOU’VE SUCCEEDED IN CONVINCING YOUR BROTHER!” he declared, marching up to the two.
A little amused huff escaped Blue, “DIDN’T TAKE MUCH CONVINCING HONESTLY,” he admitted.
“OH?” Papyrus looked to Stretch for elaboration and the other just gave an easy shrug.
“little miss has been eying my hoodie for a good bit,” he stated, an amused lilt to his voice, “was honestly surprised she never tried to sneak it or ask for it before now.”
“SHE DIDN’T ASK FOR IT,” Papyrus found himself saying before he could think better of it. It wasn’t a lie, but why did it feel like he said something mean. That odd feeling was pressing at his sternum again.
Stretch simply rolled the lollipop held in his jaws from one side to the other. The hard candy clicking gently at the back of his teeth as he leveled a seemingly unbothered stare on his doppelganger, but Papyrus knew no matter how much the slouching brother seemed to act like his brother, he was still a Papyrus and Papyri were more observant than they often let on. He knew those honey colored eye lights were searching for every little cue to put together the puzzle put before him.
“THAT IS TRUE. I DID OFFER IT,” Blue cut in, a shared moment of eye contact between the older brothers missed by the younger.
A little hum could be heard from Stretch as he straightened up with a roll of his shoulders in a mock stretch. “hadn’t meant it to come off like that so let me reword,” he started with a short chuckle. “she’d been wishing on all our sweaters and hoodies,” he amended, his lazy smile pulling up at the corners as he now had to look slightly down at his doppelganger without his usual slouch.
That ugly, heavy feeling wasn’t pressing as insistently after Stretch’s words. “OH…” Papyrus hoped his voice came off as neutral. Sadly, he could feel his magic betraying him as his cheekbones warmed.
“you all can’t tell me you’ve never noticed,” he challenged the room, finally breaking his staredown with Papyrus as he looked to the other two occupants.
Sans was the first to input his agreement with a shallow nod as he leaned on the counter. “she tries to be subtle about it,” he remarked, an easy smile on his face as he rested his chin against his palm, “sneaking little glances here and there, dropping little hints…” His sockets closed with a happy curve as his deep laugh rumbled in his chest as he remembered the offhanded questions and shy beating around the bush their friend opted for instead of simply asking outright to borrow one of their jackets.
Opening his sockets, he resumed watching his brother. His light pink flush had dimmed and he had lifted a hand up to his mouth, digits curled as he seemed to be thinking. He just smiled more as Papyrus seemed to be relaxing as he worked through his thoughts. The more anecdotes they shared, the more his sockets seemed to widen with understanding.
“LET’S NOT FORGET SHE HAD TRIED ACQUIRE YOUR SWEATER JUST LAST NIGHT, CREAMPUFF.” Edge’s voice cut through the chatter. They had all jumped and seemed to move as one to look at the sharp skeleton currently shutting the fridge door. When had he come in? Had they been so engrossed they had somehow missed him coming in? Edge just smirked smugly at all of them as he carried the carafe of lemonade over to the island.
Sans just chuckled and turned his attention back to his brother. His brow bones perking as he saw Papyrus’s smile wasn’t strained anymore and his tense posture had fled. A glance to Blue and the other gave him the tiniest shrug before following it with a sneaky thumbs up. Yeah, everything was good again. Let’s not question it for now. “hey, bro, don’t cha have a guest to pick up?” he commented.
The energetic duo both looked to the clock on the wall. A rather impressive synchronized gasp left the two. “NYEH!” “MWEH!” “WE’RE LATE!!” The smaller skeleton just barely managed to catch the taller by the hand as he went to dash out the door. “SORRY, PAPYRUS! NO TIME FOR THAT!” Blue rushed out an apology before the smell of ozone filled the kitchen and barely a second later they were gone.
○●○●○●○●○
“hey, Edge, mind pouring me a glass of that lemonade?” Stretch had settled at the island with a hopeful smile.
His request was met with a huff as Edge opened the cabinets above and retrieved a glass for himself, “POUR YOURSELF ONE, ASH TRAY.”
The orange clad skeleton just hummed around his lollipop before grabbing the sweet, honey flavored treat by it’s stick and removing it from his mouth. “aww, why not? you poured one for Sans there and he didn’t even ask,” he pouted playfully, gesturing to Sans who was nursing his glass of lemonade just beside him.
“don’t have to ask when you’re-” Both Papyri still in the room shot him a warning glare before he could even finish and he lifted his hands up in mock surrender. “fine, fine , tough room,” he joked. Edge just rolled his eyes, while Stretch let his glare linger a bit longer to make sure Sans didn’t try to sneak it in.
“I REFUSE TO WATCH YOU RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD GLASS OF LEMONADE AGAIN,” the sharper skeleton stated as he poured his own glass and took a sip, sighing at the refreshing taste.
Stretch feigned insult, “i’m not the only one who puts honey in their lemonade, edgelord.”
“NO, BUT I WOULDN’T SAY YOU ARE PUTTING HONEY IN LEMONADE WITH YOU,” Edge started, wrinkles forming on his nose ridge in disgust as he spoke, “NO, WITH YOU IT IS MORE ACCURATE TO SAY YOU PUT LEMONADE IN YOUR HONEY.” He took a long sip like he could taste the sticky sweetness on his tongue and needed to wash it down.
“you got me there,” Stretch popped his lollipop back in his mouth and settled in, laying against the counter with a resigned sigh. He could hear Edge grumbling about how of course he was right. Rolling his lollipop, he moved his attention back to Sans. The prime doppelganger had simply been sitting quietly with an easy smile on his round skull. As if sensing Stretch’s stare, his white eyelights locked with honey colored ones.
“need something, pal?” The words held no threat or warning, just an invitation to ask away.
“what was up with your brother earlier?” Stretch already had a guess. He just wanted confirmation at this point. The stout skeleton apparently had no plans to play along and just shrugged noncommittally.
“no clue what you’re talking about, Stretch,” Sans replied, finishing off his lemonade with a satisfied sigh, “thanks for the drink, Edge.” He sent a genuinely thankful smile Edge’s way before the smell ozone once again filled the room and an empty glass was abandoned on the countertop before a now empty seat.
Edge fought down a smile that tugged at his teeth. It wasn’t too hard with Stretch still in the room though. Currently, the laidback skeleton was watching him with a curious look. “WHAT?” he snapped, scowling as a knowing grin was aimed at him.
“you’re in on it,” the other stated matter of factly.
“I AM IN ON NOTHING. AND QUIT THAT CLUELESS ACT,” Edge snipped, crossing his arms with a cocked hip, “I WAS THERE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE YOUR POSTURING EARLIER.” It had been a surprise to see the usually passive skeleton standing to his full height and purposely towering over their prime version. He cut off Stretch’s denial with a sharp growl, “I WON’T LISTEN TO BULLSHIT, STRETCH.”
Stretch just gave a defeated chuckle as he sat up in his seat. “two for two today, Edge. you’re on a roll,” he commended.
Edge didn’t see nor hear any regret from his alternate. The two simply took a moment to stare each other down. A silent measuring up before the standing skeleton reached up into the cabinets and set down a new glass. Curious honey eyelights watched as a lemonade was poured to only fill half the glass before it was slid over to him with a gentle push.
“what’s this?” Stretch questioned. He leant forward in his seat and tilted his skull as he shifted his stare from the half full glass to Edge who was refilling his own.
“LEMONADE,” he answered smartly and Stretch didn’t bother restrain his rolling eyelights.
“i can see that.”
“THEN WHY ASK?”
“you know that’s not wh-”
“JUST FILL IT WITH YOUR INFERNAL HONEY ALREADY,” Edge snapped, cutting Stretch off with an impatient scowl.
Knowing he wouldn’t get anywhere with his darker counterpart, he fished in his pullover pocket and pulled out his signature bear shaped honey bottle. Snapping the top, he upended the bottle over the glass and squeezed. The viscous, thick amber liquid cut through the pale white lemonade and pooled at the bottom of the glass. It took a minute to build the thick layer he wanted and once he was done, Edge handed him a spoon begrudgingly to stir his monstrosity. Finished, he looked to Edge again questioningly only to see the other holding up his glass. The sharp toothed skeleton had a cocky smirk on his skull, “IF YOU’RE SERIOUS ABOUT THAT CHALLENGE EARLIER, JUST KNOW YOU HAVE COMPETITION.”
Stretch was sure his jaw was on the floor as he realized what was going on. He had known the tougher skeleton was soft on their human, but he hadn’t thought it went further than platonic interest. That only left Willow and Mutt from the Papyri who seemed to show no romantic interest. At least he hoped. That may change considering today was the day for surprises. Sucking in a breath, he sat up and raised up his own glass, tapping it against Edge’s with a less intense smirk of his own. “noted,” he acknowledged, “but the true competitor is Creampuff, ya know. you’ve seen those two together.”
Edge nodded. It was hard to miss the looks those two often sent to each other. It could be absolutely suffocating at times to be in the same room as them when they start acting sweet and fluffy. He took a moment before tapping his glass against Stretch’s for a second time, “A SECOND TOAST TO THE IDIOTS FINALLY WAKING UP,” before they each took a sip of their respective drinks.

Actually, i take that back.
This copy paste from my server will explain it all. Hey there @everyone The name is Pootstablook and i have an announcement to make. I'm going to stop doing anything undertale related from now on and move over to more original stuff, in other words, do the things i love doing the most. My motivation for Revenge and Rusted have pretty much sunk to the bottom, and i honestly don't want to work on those anymore. I had a good ride when it comes to Rusted and Revenge, heck even Undertale in general! But now it's just too much for me. I'm sorry for those who've been excited to see where these two are going, and i'm sad to say that i have to put an end to it. Abubakr, Aquirious, Draco, my entire team in general, i'm sorry for making you do all of this, i mean i really appreciated that you all wanted to work with me, and i'm sorry for drawing the line just like that. And since i'm doing all of this then i can atleast do something in return. I'm not going to give these au's to anyone, but i can reveal what i had in mind for it. From story to designs just so you can have an idea of what it's going to be like. Which is why i'm going to unlock #spoiler-newspaper . Anyways, i'm going to move over to my tavern server just so i can work on the things i love the most, and if any of you are interested then you're free to join it https://discord.gg/ZaGsXbk I'll say my final goodbye to this server when i'm done showing everything we've done for these two projects. Anyways, thank you all for listening. And since i mentioned that i’m going to give info about revenge here then i might aswell tell em here before i leave this blog and move on with another one. Act 1 Lore: Once upon a time, a human child fell down to the sealed place known as the UNDERGROUND. This unknown human somehow survived the fall and started to explore this place, until they met a flower that'd sooner or later be their friend. But that's what most people will think that this human would do. In the end, this human started to kill every living being inside the underground to gain LOVE. What is LOVE you may ask? Well, a certain skeleton once said " When you have enough EXP, your LOVE increases. LOVE, too, is an acronym. It stands for Level of Violence.", at the end of the day, this human succeeded their goal to reach maximum LOVE. From the caretaker of the RUINS, the ROYAL GUARDS, their famous actor and even a lazy skeleton tried their best to stop this human. Some say that the monsters have won multiple times, and yet..... it felt like that the human never died. But there was one monster that didn't get their chance.... to help them. Papyrus the skeleton, a skeleton who've dreamt to become a part of the royal guard, and yet this kind soul wouldn't even hurt a fly. But, he got killed with a smile on his face. Papyrus still wants another chance to confront the human, but sadly he couldn't..... until.[[ACT 1]] We enter a void like area where monsters rests their souls after being brutally murdered. A place where monsters can do anything they want! Meet their loved ones, partake on a good game or two or even look at the floating islands grow bigger every day. But Papyrus didn't seem all that happy as he used to be. It seems like that something bothered him. His friend and his brother tried to ask what's wrong, but Papyrus couldn't explain it. Later that day, Papyrus started to hear voices coming from left to right. He started to get scared and thought that he was going insane! The voices became louder and louder, until the point where it was getting too much for Papyrus to handle. He collapsed into the ground and tried to speak with this mysterious voice, and surprise surprise, the mysterious voice responded to Papyrus. Rise and shine.... Papyrus Papyrus was confused for a second and had no idea what the voice was talking about. It then said. It seems like..... your soul...... has given up..... on you..... Papyrus looked up and saw a disturbing floating head infront of him. He didn't question it, in fact, he was amazed to see such thing. But then the voice kept on going. Allow me.... to help you.... Out of curiosity, Papyrus asked what he meant with that. The floating head claimed that he knew what Papyrus wanted to do when it comes to the human, and apparently, he's willing to help him reach that goal. But that'd be impossible for him right? He's dead and most monsters think that there's no way out. But this mysterious head said that there was a way to get a second chance, and all he needed was Papyrus to cooperate with this mysterious being. He wanted to refuse it, but the thought of getting a second chance to confront the human once and for all was a tempting offer for Papyrus. So in the end, he accepted it and followed his orders to escape this realm. His objective was apparently simple, all he had to do is to find a FLOWER. A flowey? In a place like this? Thought Papyrus, but the head claimed that there was a flower in the darker section of this realm, where bad memories resides. Papyrus didn't like the thought of "Bad memories" but he's willing to risk it, after all, he's the GREAT PAPYRUS! and he's willing to take the chance to confront the human. Papyrus had to use everything he had to go through these bad memories. Disturbing looking bone creatures, rolling meatballs, evil traplings, floating puzzle pieces and a dog? Were obstacles that Papyrus had to pass in order to complete his objective. At last, he finally found it, the FLOWER. Papyrus then asked what he's supposed to do with the flower? The figure responded with. You need to....... DESTROY IT........ Papyrus got shocked and refused immidiately, he didn't want to kill a flower just like that! But the figure told him that it's the only way to recieve his second chance to confront the human. Papyrus pondered for a second, he didn't really what to say or do at this point. But suddenly, this flower started to grow. Papyrus got startled that a small flower could grow so big in a matter of a second. The figure then said. Destroy it.... before it's too late.... Papyrus had no idea what he meant with "Too late", it's just a flower. Roots then grew on the ground and started to attack Papyrus. The flower's petals started to get more pointy and it started to grow thorns on its body. It then got a disturbing looking face that stared him down. Papyrus panicked and tried to calm it down. But words isn't the solution at this point, he had no choice but to listen to the figure's order.... to DESTROY IT.Once Papyrus hit a bone attack on the flowers face..... then everything went black. All he could hear was laughter. He then opened his eyes and noticed that he was back at his home at SNOWDIN. He decided to meet the human later than usual, and actually plan on how he's going to confront the human. But the voice was still there, and told him what exactly he had to do.... and without any hesitation, Papyrus listened and followed his orders. Papyrus is no longer himself anymore. Act 2 Lore: Papyrus tried to prepare himself for the inevitable, he practised his attacks over and over to improve and ends up gaining new ones. How strange it was, that he've gained such power out of nowhere. In fact, he abused it a bit just to see what he's capable of. Since Papyrus didn't show up to the human as he used to before, then Sans took his place to confront them. Sans didn't even try to fight back, he's just telling the human about the consequences for killing innocent monsters to gain something that isn't even worth it. But his words didn't affect the human, and Sans' only option was to stall the human just so the monsters got more time to evacuate. Sans managed to get some time, but in the end..... he failed to stall them longer. He got weak when the human managed to hit a punch directly into Sans' stomach. Sans tried to tell the consequences yet again, he was hoping that some of his words could change the human's mind. But sadly, he failed. He got killed by recieving alot of hits from the human, and his last words was "Go get him..... brother.... wherever..... you are....". [[ACT 2]] The human finally arrived to the JUDGEMENT HALL and it seems like that they've got alot of LOVE, reaching over to Level 17, and yet something felt wrong when it comes to the human. Sans did a good thing when he stalled the human. The human proceeded to walk through the hall and hoped to kill their final victim, ASGORE. But someone was blocking their path. The bells started to ring and an ominous feeling started to go through the humans body. The monster that stood infront of them started to say. NYEH HEH HEH!! GREETINGS HUMAN!! I CAN SEE THAT YOU'RE SURPRISED TO SEE THE GREAT PAPYRUS HERE OUT OF ALL PLACES!! WELL.... AS YOU CAN SEE.... I AM HERE TO GIVE YOU AN OPTION. TWO IN FACT!! BUT BEFORE YOU CAN CHOOSE..... I WANT TO ASK YOU A QUESTION..... WHAT'S THE POINT OF KILLING? IS IT SOME SORT OF JOKE THAT I'M MISSING...? IT'S JUST SOMETHING THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WITH YOU HUMAN.... AND I'D LIKE TO KNOW.... WHY...? I'M HERE FOR YOU!! AND I'M WILLING TO HELP AND LEARN YOU THAT IT'S WRONG!! SO... YOUR OPTIONS ARE.... LISTEN.... OR F-FA-FACE T-THE CONSEQUENCES The human didn't look amused at all and started to take a step forward. Papyrus backed up a bit out of fear. And yet he was brave enough to say.... ..... I SEE..... MY WORDS WON'T DO AT THIS POINT.... BUT.... I CAN MAKE A PROMISE..... AN EFFORT I'M WILLING TO TAKE.... TO CHANGE WHAT'S GOING ON INSIDE YOUR HEAD!! ... AND I WILL GIVE YOU.... A LESSON.... YOU'LL HARDLY FORGET. The battle has begun. * PAPYRUS 35 ATK 50 DEF * The lesson has begun. Act 3 Lore A wild battle between two monsters has begun. Papyrus tried his best to beat the human with all he got. He revealed his unknown powers to the human to the human in order to succeed to beat them and not letting them pass. From a regular blue soul attack.... to a gray one? This soul was known as the "Ping soul", a soul that'd put you back to into place every 3rd second. But after all of that.... Papyrus failed..... [[9999999]] His weapon split into two pieces, and the knife even managed to land a huge scratch on Papyrus' chest. Papyrus collapsed into the ground and started to cover his wound.... But after all of that.... Papyrus started to cry with a smile on his face. He then said. NYEH.... HEH... HEH... AFTER ALL OF THAT.... MY WORDS DIDN'T AFFECT YOU ONE BIT...... IT'S UPSETTING.... BUT I'M NOT MAD..... I STILL BELIEVE THAT THERE'S SOMETHING GOOD INSIDE YOU HUMAN..... I BELIEVE SO...... I KNOW..... SO.... At this point Papyrus would've fade away and return to the realm of the dead..... but.... something happened.... the particles that faded away from Papyrus' body started to come back..... but he twitched violently..... Oh dear.... it seems like our friend is out of commission... that's a shame The human watched the twitching corpse standing on his feet again with a smile..... After long years..... i finally have a body to walk around with..... and it's all thanks to you. The human had no idea what was going on, so they attempted to run towards the twitching corpse and put an end to it once and for all.... without success.... The corpse just took the knife away and shoved it violently into a pillar. Hehehe.... i can see.... that you're not fully done with me..... Then how about we play.... a little game.... The corpse started to laugh like a maniac and it's entire body started to change.[[ACT 3]] The corpse's body started to slowly fade away, piece after piece.... except for the head. The head remained whilst the entire area around started to get.... corrupted.... The head started to grow and grow.... until it was a disturbing floating head.... Human specimen.... I haven't been in this world for so long now..... but i can tell that you've killed alot of monsters.... you've certainly gained lots of LOVE.... NOW IT'S TIME TO PUT IT TO THE TEST!! A bunch of disturbing spinning Papyrus heads started to appear from left to right, they spewed out bones, the word NYEH and even.... meatballs? Papyrus was no longer with us.... A creature that is beyond our reality has taken over the poor soul's body.... and uses it as a puppet.... Now you're facing.... Corrupted Papyrus [[Act 1 sprites]]

Big ass art dumb, scroll through at own risk
Hello guys! It has been absouletly forever since the last time I posted anything here, I’m sorry. I kinda forgot I had a tumblr for awhile. But I’m back, with a whole new, much, much better artstyle compared to before.
So, in honor of this, I decided to start posting again, starting with an unbearably long art dump going from oldest to newest art on this computer so, scroll at you’re own risk.
Here is my first attempt at Pixel art in awhile, my girl Zoey when she was younger and being bullied or something.
Next is art of Marina and Mark, her awful ex, brought to you by the song Show and Tell by Melanie Martinez.
Next is my flower bab Mono, a skeleton who became the unwilling host of a parasitic like flower, which loooves sunflower seeds for some reason. The flower doesn’t hurt Mono, rather it protects him, as without a host, the flower will die.
Now meet Adelaide and Juniper, Mono’s moms. One is a stay at home mom that grows fruits and vegetables in their large backyard, and the other one is a flower scientist who studies all sorts of strange and gorgeous flowers, as well as experiments with them.
Meet Green Pearl, half of a permi-fusion based off a really pretty gem I saw, the Watermelon Tourmaline.
Meet Star Ruby, the other half of my Permi-fusion.
Next up is the fusion itself, Watermelon Tourmaline.
After that comes an OC I made named Matthew. He was made after I listened to Honey I’m Home too much and decided to make a character who’s a sweet christian trans boy who’s dad beats him because said dad is an asshole and an alcoholic.
Next two is a Hazbin Hotel OC before and after she died, who in life was a cannibalistic serial killer and in death became even worse. She’s not actually a vampire, I just remember reading somewhere that butterflies drink the blood of dead things and I thought it was cool.
Next up is Marina dressed in three outfits heavily inspired by the GHOST songs in this order; Apetite of a People Pleaser, Honey I’m Home, and Happy Days.
Next is a Blue Spinel OC I made, simply because the idea of entertainment gems is too fantastic to not make twenty versions of, come on. Besides, Spinel’s are great. This is my Blue Spinel, who’s gem is on her back like lapis. Her entertainment is mostly singing as well as a few smooth jokes.
After Blue Spinel is Liliac Spinel, one I plan to redesign in the future,I wanted to give her a more clowny apperance, and she acts a lot like the Spinel we got to know in the movie before Pink abandoned her, except that she can actually read social clues and knows when to calm down and give people a bit of space,
Next is my Blue Moonstone, and don’t worry I just recently redesigned her so, she looks better.
Next is criminal Marina and criminal Zoey, who I won’t get into right now but maybe I will later.
Next is Moth Zoey and Snake Marina, part of a mate au that I won’t get into right now but I will at a later time.
Next is my little Sally Face OC Tabitha, known affectionatly by her dad as Tabi Cat. Tabitha is... definetly one of my weirder OCs, as she’s obsessed with demons and ghosts, and actually isn’t scared of seeing demons or ghosts around the apartments. However, she is unbelievably angry at all the poor, innocent deaths that take place thanks to the cult, expressing her outrage often. She exists in two different timelines, one where she dies to the cult, and the other where she lives and through it and backs up Sal in court, effectively keeping him out of jail.
Next is a fursona I made. I’m not a furry, I just thought it would be fun to draw, although there is nothing wrong with furries anyways but whatever, here’s Mouse! Inky.
Here is the Moonstone redesign I promised. Now, when it comes to Moonstones in Steven Universe, we really don’t know anything about them. But I like to think that they are rather high up gems, by more of a theory then anything. See, you know the Moon Goddess statue that was supposed to save the Lunar Sea Spire? I like to think that the “Moon Goddess’s” are really just Moonstones, who are rather rare to come by but extremely valuable gems. Bismuth revealed that Spires are made for important gems to think in, and I believe that this particular spire was made for moonstones or other oceanic gems. As a ‘goddess’ like gem, she is calm, quiet, and wise, but very compassionate for others. My Blue Moonstone fled from homeworld during the rebellion, after hearing of a better place for gem kind, as well as their plan to protect the humans that occupied earth. Her Black and Gold Pearl, who belongs to my friend Luna, joined her. By the time they finally escaped to earth, the gem corruption had already taken place, and they were safe from it.
Next up is the Fell/Edgy version of Zoey, who is honestly one of my favorite versions of Zoey I’ve ever made.
This is Kelly, Marina’s youngest sibling and honestly the most mature out of the four. She’s 18, and rather sweet, does most of the cleaning and cooking at home because her siblings are all lazy shits, and she has a very good sense of judgement when it comes to people. However, she is very frail and spends a lot of time indoors to stay safe. She’s Asexual and straight, but supports her siblings even when they make her wanna gouge her own eyes out.
This is Aurora, the second youngest. She’s twenty one and currently working as at retail, having quit her stripper job the year before. She’s really into fashion, and wants to design her own line one day, for now she’s just making clothes for her siblings.
And Jonah, honestly I have mixed feelings about him. He’s a huge piece of shit, and I kinda hate him but I also love that he’s a dick, I don’t know why. He’s Marina’s twin brother, and the oldest of the four, and is just, very overprotective and mean to everyone.
This is Baby Doll, a Hazbin OC of mine that’s one of my favorites, personally. In the 1950s she was trapped and manipulated as the perfect housewife, bending over backwards to do everything her husband ever wanted. But about 5 months after she gave birth to his baby, he killed it while he was drunk, making it seem like it was an accident. Baby Doll was heartbroken, and blamed herself for the death, and was pushed over the edge when she returned from grocery shopping to find her husband cheating on her with a younger woman. She snapped, killing her husband and his mistress, before realizing what she did and killing herself.
Time to meet Coco, and boy he he one of my favorite Hazbin OCs. In life he was addicted to cocaine, and when offered a nice supply of it for sleeping with a drug dealer, who was he to refuse? So he totally slept with her, and the two made it a regular thing, getting closer to each other and falling in love. The got engaged, and that’s when things went to shit. The Drug dealer got into a drug war, and during said attacks, Coco was killed horribly. His fiance, distraught, gave up her life of crime and worked towards becoming a better persona, and later died, going to heaven since she had repented and become better. Coco himself had went to jail, and never got to see his fiance again.

Next Chapter
“it's a beautiful day outside. birds are singing, flowers are blooming...on days like this, kids like you…
Should be burning in hell.”
In the back of their mind—because that was all they really could do at the moment—Frisk wondered if sans rehearsed that speech. Either way, he said it the same way nearly every time. It was only when he tried to catch them off guard did he stop halfway, fire a Gaster-Blaster at them before they would expect it. Back before this happened, back when they could go to Grillby's and be friends, sans mentioned that he didn't actually have much memory of the timeloops. His knowledge came from notebooks and journals meticulously kept for someone so lazy. What memories he had came through nightmares.
In a way, Frisk envied him.
The battle started. Frisk felt their sins crawling along their back. The body moved forward, the soul dodging every attack as best it could, all without Frisk's thought or input. Neither had been Frisk's for a very long time.
sans had stopped his attack. He still dodged theirs, but didn't move otherwise. Sweat poured from his forehead, especially surprising since he didn't have skin cells.
“uh. hey. you really like swinging that thing around, huh?” The skeleton said. The attack stopped, if only for a second. “listen. friendship. it's really great, huh? let's quit fighting.”
sans was sparing them.
And Frisk so desperately wanted to accept it. Find a way to restart everything from the beginning and be especially good. Their body, however, wasn't listening.
After all that, you still think you're in control?
Something wet was moving on their face. Blood, Frisk reckoned. It couldn't have been their tears if their body wasn't theirs anymore.
sans dodged the slash of the knife.
“well. it was worth a shot, anyway.”
Their soul collided with another attack, and ripped in half.
Game Over
“if we're really friends, you won't come back.”
He was probably right.

Chapter 1
When Coraline woke up, she had no idea where she was.
It took her a minute to pull herself off of the cold earth and think back. She had been exploring the new apartments, she remembered that much. Her Dousing Staff had only led her to an old empty well…
She then realized just how dark it was. Her eyes ran to the only source of sunlight in the room: above. She had fallen, she realized. She had fallen down that well, and still survived. A pang of worry echoed in the back of her mind, but she couldn’t quite figure out why. This would be a much better place to explore! Perhaps down here she could find something actual of worth, like mice that actually sang and danced, or a talking cat, or…
A golden flower, looking at her with a very confused expression.
“Huh.” The flower said. “I honestly wasn’t expecting that.”
“Wasn’t expecting what?” Coraline asked, equal parts confused and offended.
The flower’s expression changed, as if it thought of something. “Oh, nothing. You’re new to the Underground, aren’t ya? Well, how about I teach you how things work around here?”
“How do you mean?”
“Well, let me show ya!”
The world flickered, like a candle. Coraline’s attention fell to the orange heart hovering in front of her.
“That’s your SOUL!” The flower said. “It’s the very culmination of your being. It can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV.”
“LV?” Coraline repeated.
“Love!” The flower said, as if he weren’t quite sure himself.
A group of white seeds hovered around the flower. “Monsters can share love with you with these…little white friendliness pellets! So go ahead! Catch as many as you can!”
“Wow. You’re just as dumb as they were.” The flower spoke again.
More pellets surrounded Coraline’s SOUL.
“DIE.”
The flower’s laughter stopped abruptly. Coraline looked up from her Soul, no longer surrounded in white. She looked up further, where she saw a figure.
“My, what a loathsome creature, torturing a poor, innocent youth…”
When Frisk woke up, they had no idea where they were.
It took them a minute to realize that their body was theirs, and they could get up whenever they wanted. When they did, they noticed the room wasn’t one they recognized. It wasn’t the Judgement Hall, like they had feared. It wasn’t the entrance to the Underground, like they had hoped. It was a bedroom, and it looked a lot like Toriel’s.
Remembering what happened to Toriel the last time they had met sent a wave of nausea over Frisk. They reached for a SAVE file.
Nothing happened.
Had they ever Saved in Toriel’s house? They couldn’t quite remember. Frisk had never stayed around in Toriel’s house long enough.
This wasn’t Toriel’s house. It looked a lot like it, but it wasn’t quite right. There was no basket full of shoes that had not been worn for ages. The toys lacked the layer of dust, like they had been used recently. Smells of butterscotch and cinnamon and fire magic didn’t hover in the air.
Something was wrong.
Frisk bolted from the room and rushed to where they knew Toriel would be. Her reading chair. She was always in her reading chair, no matter what timeline Frisk found themselves in.
They found Toriel in the kitchen.
It was Toriel, unmistakably. The same white fur, if a little brighter, the same purple tunic, if a bit nicer-kept, and the same motherly aura about her. Yet she was different. Her Soul, Frisk realized, was different. They didn’t quite know how, or even how they knew; the first time they had ever analyzed a Soul was when they first entered the Underground, and things haven’t changed much since then.
When she turned around from the stove, Frisk realized the biggest different. Two, black button eyes.
“Hello my child,” She spoke. “Did you sleep okay?”
Frisk fought to keep a straight face. Their hands shook as they signed, though that was often the case. They weren’t sure if they had signed that correctly, or even if it was spelled correctly. They had never thought of a nickname for Toriel that was easier to sign, and now they weren’t sure if they were allowed to.
The thing that was not Toriel’s face contorted, for just a second, into confusion. Frisk recognized the face easily. Few people they spoke to knew sign language. Even less would sign back to them. Toriel was the first, and one of the only.
“Oh. I’m the Other Toriel, my child.” She said. She didn’t sign back. Once Toriel figured it out, they would always sign as they spoke.
“Everyone has an other mother,” the Other Toriel continued. “I thought this form would be more…acceptable to you.”
That one was true, at least. Frisk may have never thought of Toriel as their mother (only once. They wouldn’t let themselves do it again.), but even Jerry was preferable to their real mother. If this other Toriel had thought that far ahead, then perhaps they were nice?
“Now then, why don’t you go wash up and find your other father, so we can have dinner?” the Other Toriel said as she worked on carving the pie. “It’s been a long time since you’ve had a proper meal, hasn’t it?”
Toriel was married? This Toriel was married? Frisk had never seen another person in the house…or really anyone Toriel interacted that wasn’t sans. But the idea of a proper meal, especially one that wasn’t made of dust and magic, was too pleasing for Frisk to turn down.
Frisk poked their head over the Other Toriel’s shoulder, just quick enough to see what the pie was made of.
Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie
At least it isn’t snails. Does not heal, but is part of a balanced breakfast.
Even when they were at their worst, Toriel’s pie always healed. They wondered if the Other Toriel just didn’t get the recipe right
The figure in front of Coraline looked equal parts goat and equal parts human, standing on two feet yet covered in white fur. Despite her rather impressive size, the sharpness of her teeth, and the two horns on her head, she seemed to be doing everything in her power to appear non-threatening.
“Do not be afraid, child. I am Toriel, the caretaker of these Ruins.” She spoke.
Toriel bent down and offered Coraline a hand. Coraline took it, if only to pull herself back up.
“I come through these Ruins every day to see if anyone has fallen down.” Toriel continued. “You are the first human to come down here in a long time. Allow me to guide you through the catacombs.”
If she held onto Toriel’s hand a little longer, she didn’t realize. And Toriel didn’t let go until Coraline did.
Frisk found the Other Toriel’s husband outside the house. He was a large goat-like monster like she was, with bigger horns on his head, a wilder mane, and a rather well-kept beard. He even wore a similar tunic to Toriel’s, but for some reason Frisk couldn’t understand, it looked out of place on him. Like the Other Toriel, his eyes were big black buttons, carefully sewn in.
But what Frisk noticed first was the garden. Outside of Toriel’s house was rather dry, with only one old tree where the leaves fell off the second they could grow. Here, the ground was nearly covered in lush greens, with only a walkway of stone to interrupt it. Flowers blossomed from every corner of the yard; bright blues and deep reds. The tree was ripe with flowers of all sorts, yet there were still plenty of fall leaves around it that Frisk could jump into if they choose to. And there was sky, dark and covered in stars.
No golden flowers were in the garden, although the real Underground was full of them. Frisk wondered if that was intentional.
“Is someone there?” The other monster asked. “Just a moment. I have to finish watering these flowers…Here we are!”
He stood and turned to them. He towered over the child, but they weren’t intimidated. Rather, they were curious. He looked familiar, in a way that Frisk couldn’t describe. They had seen him before, but not in a Reset. And if it wasn’t a Reset, they had no idea where else he could have come from. The phrase “Mr. Dad Guy” entered their mind, but they had no idea why.
“Howdy!” Mr. Dad Guy said. “How may I help you, little one?”
Frisk signed to tell him breakfast was ready. A similar strain of confusion entered the other’s face as he interpreted the signs, but it passed just as quickly as it had with the Other Toriel.
“Let us not keep her waiting then, shall we?” said Mr. Dad Guy.
Mr. Dad Guy walked Frisk back through the house and to a dinner table that Frisk was sure was never in Toriel’s house. Toriel rarely had other people she could eat with, they realized. They had never eaten with Toriel. Pie had always been left in the room when they slept but that was not a meal and it was not eaten with her.
Maybe the Other Toriel realized this, and that’s why the table was piled with more food than Frisk thought one could make. A golden-roasted chicken, fried potatoes, tiny green peas. Spaghetti covered in a sauce of finely smashed tomatoes, greasy burgers and fries that smelled like Grillby’s, instant noodles, a three-tier cake with Welcome Home! written in icing cursive. Small cars moved along the table, depositing gravy for the meats and ketchup for the burgs. A butterscotch-cinnamon pie sitting at the center of it.
“Aren’t you going to eat, young one?” Mr. Dad Guy asked.
With all the Resets, Frisk had forgotten the last time they had a meal of human food. They had forgotten a long time ago what it was like when that food was freely given. They shoveled as much food as they could into their mouth.
“We have been waiting for you for a long time,” the Other Toriel said. “It wasn’t the same without you. But we knew you would come home one day. Perhaps tomorrow you can help your father in the garden. Or I can show you my favorite bug-hunting spot. I can even prepare a curriculum for your education.”
In the end, Toriel didn’t guide Coraline through the entirety of the Ruins. She left her someplace safe, where she could wait while she ran errands. Coraline, however, decided to explore herself. She met Vegetoids and Migosps and a whole variety of creatures she could have never thought of. She bought donuts from a bake sale run by spiders. She would talk to Froggits and Moldsmals, and though they rarely moved beyond hip-wiggling and ribbiting, they were quite meaningful.
She explored the Ruins until she came across a tree where leaves dried off as soon as they grew, and behind that, a house. Seeing such a cute, tidy house in the middle of the Ruins filled Coraline with something, but she wasn’t sure quite was.
She didn’t think of getting closer until she saw Toriel exit, a bag of groceries in her paws.
“My child!” said Toriel. “Did you walk all the way here?”
“It wasn’t too bad,” said Coraline. “I had to do battle with a ghost, but it was okay because I complimented their hat and they let me go.”
The best part of saying that was that Coraline was not making any of that up. The second best part was, though she looked annoyed for just a second at the prospect of anyone fighting Coraline, Toriel laughed and smiled and believed her. Her mother never did any of that no matter what kind of story Coraline told. She usually just shrugged her off and told her to do chores.
It was the first time in her time in the Underground that Coraline thought of her mother.
Toriel lead Coraline through the house. She showed her a room she could stay the night in. They had butterscotch cinnamon pie for dinner. Coraline read through old books of monster history until she realized all textbooks were rather dry.
But then Coraline had to think realistically. She had to get back to the Pink Palace.
“Thank you for everything, Miss Toriel, but I really need to get back home,” Coraline said. “How do I leave the Ruins?”
Toriel grew quiet. With her paws shaking, she removed her reading glasses and rose from her chair.
“I’m afraid there is something I must do, little one. Please wait here.”
She left, and then Coraline grew nervous. She followed Toriel, down the stairs of the house and into a dark corridor that didn’t look at all like the tidy home. When she found Toriel, it was in front of a large door.
“You truly wish to return home, do you not?” Toriel asked. “Ahead of us is the exit to the Ruins. And I am going to destroy it. No one will be able to leave again. Now run upstairs.”
“I have to get home! To my real mom and dad!” said Coraline.
“You are just like the others. You come. You leave. You’ll die. He…ASGORE…will find you. I am only doing this to protect you.”
“I can defend myself. I want to get home.”
“Then prove it. Prove you’re strong enough to survive.”
A FIGHT broke out. Toriel blocks the way.
Coraline grew used to the feeling of her Soul leaving her body. However, she was not used to the feeling of monster bullets hurdling towards her. It did not help that Toriel’s bullets were flames, raging with heat as they passed and singing her jacket and Soul as they hit.
Yet Coraline stayed determined. She was perhaps not the best at dodging, but the FIGHTS with the other monsters of the Ruins had prepared her well. It was no different than her father moving around the hornets. She ran through the flames, letting her jacket take what she couldn’t allow her Soul to hit.
“Why are you fighting me?” Coraline asked. “I thought you wanted me to stay safe!”
“I do,” said Toriel. “This is what’s best for you!”
“You think trying to kill me is what’s best for me? How is that different than those monsters you want to protect me from! How is that different than Asgore!”
The flames returned, tenfold. Coraline couldn’t dodge them all.
As she pulled herself off the floor, she looked through Toriel. She looked shocked at her own power, eyes wide and paw covering her mouth.
“Do not compare me to him,” said Toriel. “Just fight already.”
Coraline stood up, but did not move.
“I know you want to go home…but you must understand. I cannot lose another.”
Toriel went down to the entrance of the Underground every day. How many children, Coraline realized, has she seen fall down? How many of them could she not save? How long was it before the last one left?
“Stop looking at me like that,” Toriel said.
She couldn’t.
“Pathetic, is it not? I cannot save even a single child.”
“Their deaths aren’t your fault,” said Coraline. “And keeping me here won’t solve anything.”
“I understand. The Ruins are very small, once you get used to them,” said Toriel. “My expectations, my loneliness, my fear…for you, I shall put them aside.”
The FIGHT ended.
“If you truly wish to leave the Ruins, I will not stop you,” Toriel continued. “But please, do not come back. I hope you understand.”
Coraline had no idea what to say about any of this. About the mother in mourning, about respecting someone who attacked her, about having to travel through the world of monsters alone. So she settled for “I did mean it. Thank you for everything you’ve done.” and walked through the door.
Author’s Note: So there are about 3 games that I trust any let’s player to play well, and I watch a lot of let’s players. Until Dawn, Pony Island…and Undertale. I’ve watched a lot of Undertale playthoughs. I really enjoy this game, or at least most of it. I wanted to write an Undertale crossover fic, and then I realized I wanted to write a lot of them. And then I realized that any Undertale crossover is inherently the same, or at least the way I wanted to write it, so I decided to make all of them into one mega-fic.
This is a bit of an unusual experience for me, considering that at the time of this posting, I am not finished with the complete fic yet. I do not do this, usually. Everything you see has been ordered, signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public enquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters. But I decided that I wanted to post more. Hopefully this pays out and I won’t have to skip a few weeks.
So welcome to Into the Unknown.
