So... um... sunnytwt. I only joined a week or so ago but... what the hell is going on over there right now?

The amount of harassment towards Glenn- and yes, it is harassment, even if you think you're just being funny and ironic- is super gross, and as @dennisboobs has pointed out over there multiple times, will only serve to harm the amazing irl interaction queer sunny fans have been having with him recently.

To poke fun at his Spiderman tweet is one thing, but to QRT and poke fun at the tweet he made supporting the legalisation of gay marriage??? What the fuck??? Not to mention the support (ironic or not) of the homophobic reply to that calling Glenn a slur, which I am 99% sure is far from ironic itself. I've seen way too many people justifying this as 'queer sunny fans just interacting', but any actual queer fan of sunny would realise that tweeting slurs at your 'fave actor' is NOT positive interaction whatsoever. It's harassment, plain and simple, and not only will it potentially make Glenn more wary about posting pro-LGBT things in the future, it also has the potential to completely halt all of the progress made by irl fans at meetups.

I'm not even gonna get in to the queerbaiting poll, because I think that's gross and incredibly harmful to actors/actresses who are either openly queer or closeted for whatever reason. Real people CANNOT QUEERBAIT. (If you want to watch a great video essay on this topic, check out Alexander Avila's YT video 'Why can't celebrities queerbait?')

I feel like so many people are forgetting that Glenn is a real person and not just an internet meme for you to poke fun of- a real person, who, recently especially, has been incredible in his interactions with queer fans and openness with discussing the queer aspects of sunny.

Health Hiatus Announcement

This is gonna be a long post, but a necessary one that has quite a bit of important info relating to the future of my creative works concerning the Adventures!AU series. First, look at this lovely new cover art for Off to a Great Start I had done by my bud Arven92 on DA. The title has changed to The Adventure Begins, but the main story within is the same. 

The light reveals their true Alphian form (symbolic only, not a lore aspect) while their shadow shows their ultimate fate as a member of Clone Force 99/Bad Batch. The bookshelves are a key location (library), but the merge into woods represents how they're entering into a very real adventure that isn't just a fantasy they write into books. Really happy how it turned out ^^

Onto the main post! 

TLDR: Adventures!AU is being drastically shortened for my sanity and physical health into two arcs (six books each) but most likely will cease full chapter uploads after arc one as I am tired af, I don’t want to be doing this series into my 50s, and I want to turn my focus back to my originals eventually. Next year will see postings of the series prologue, Anachronism, as well as hopefully the Remaster of Off to a Great Start/The Adventure Begins. I will still be very active on my discord, where some chapters of next year's stories have already been posted. But for my other story posting sites (aka Wattpad) all new Star Wars content is on hiatus until 2026.

Been wanting to make a big post for a while for the people who aren’t a part of the discord, especially since I’ve more or less dropped off the face of tumblr after it became unhealthy due to comparison eating me alive. If you like my work, you’re welcome to join the server which is dedicated to my works. I’m active in there a few times a week, and even post bi-weekly updates as to what I’ve been working on. And I’ve posted six chapters of remastered Off to a Great Start/The Adventure Begins complete with new scenes, new povs, and even more snark! Just message me for the link, I'm still wary of a stalker finding me again.

Now, for the meat of this update. 

Y’all. I am just… dog dead tired. And stressed beyond belief. Some of it isn’t related to the Adventures!AU itself (job hunt, burnout from completing my Masters in May, ect), but a lot of it admittedly is. Considering I’ve written almost 500k words in just under 5 years, it’s no surprise. Some people don’t write that in a lifetime, and I’m out here doing that on top of college. Proud of myself for that. 

What I’m not proud of, however, is ignoring my body’s warning signals and pushing myself past my limits not once, but twice. Once in 2022, and now again in 2024. Nothing major or genuinely life-altering, but when I say my health anxiety went off the rails. Been a rough few weeks lol. 

But that leads me to now. 

Adventures!AU. My series following the adventures of my self-insert as they become a member of Clone Force 99 back when it was just four members, with the added twist of it being in an alternate universe where the Star Wars universe has crossed over with my original stories. It’s not as big as non-self insert series, but Over the River and Through the Woods (which sits at a whopping 66 chapters and 200k+ words) once got #19 out of 60k in the ocs tag. The series has been going since April 2020, seeing four completed stories of various lengths and one WIP that sits at 21 chapters and 93k words. 

Aside from the recently completed Fallen Not Forgotten, it’s been on hiatus since Dec of 2023. At least as far as chapter uploads go. It’s certainly not been collecting dust. To say it underwent some intense restructuring in July is an understatement. A big understatement. 

I originally had seventeen books planned for the series as of three months ago, sectioned into four arcs with Anachronism kinda being a “prologue” to the main Adventures!AU series. Before this timeline is banished to the dream graveyard, I’m sharing it so y’all can at least see where it was gonna go. The four arcs would have had four books each, and were structured thus:

The plans I had for this series were intricate, deep, and would push many characters to their limits. 

But turns out, it wasn’t just the characters pushed to their breaking point. 

I got sick. A rather severe case of acid reflux that landed me in the docs office for the second time in two years. That started in mid-July, and I’m still dealing with it. Will probably be dealing with the sickness afterward for another month at least. But leading up to all that, I’ve been reflecting on the series as a whole and where exactly I want it to go, how I want it to end, and all that jazz. 

Then I did a scheduling test in Excel using the above chapter load plus the 30 I had planned for Anachronism. Assuming two chapters a month with minimal breaks here and there, this series would finally end in 2050. That is by no means sustainable, and while I have had a lot of fun with this series and daydreaming about the different plotlines is a comfort activity, I can’t see myself writing these books for that long. I really want to publish my original stories some day, but I also won’t pretend that I’m not a bit tired of the series. At least, tired of pushing myself to work on stories that just don’t give the same rush of dopamine they used to. It’s almost a chore now to work on them, at least in the case of FNF. 

Full disclosure, that story has been a problem child since day one. Actually, I’m pretty sure the stress of that story is what pushed me over the edge and caused the health issues in 2022 that sent me to the doc with acid reflux the first time. Messing with canon and trying to keep the timeline continuous (with timetravel in the mix too) was nothing short of infuriating. The trajectory changed so many times as I wrote it, which I sadly feel is evident in the story. It really seems like a disjointed mess. I’m just so disappointed how it turned out, but I was determined to at least finish it and not leave everyone on a cliffhanger. And I’m proud of myself for at least finishing it, even if I cut out at least four threads from the ending. It just wasn’t healthy to keep going. 

Nor was it going to be healthy if I kept the series structured like I had it. 

So, I took the steps to fix that. 

Seventeen stories became twelve, four arcs became two. Some storylines were combined into one book (ex: Risk vs Reward and Bane of My Existence) while others (ex: Adventures!AU Batch meeting canon batch in Convergence Hijinks) were cut completely. I hated to lose some, but I’ve always been one to appreciate quality over quantity. Combining books and plotlines will help streamline things and make it more manageable. Some books also get new titles.

Arc one keeps its name, and will cover six books; Four main books then a prologue and epilogue of sorts. Anachronism, The Adventure Begins, Over the River and Through the Woods, To the Far Reaches, Welcome to War Games, and Moving Back to Look Forward. This arc covers Shadow’s initial fandom jump into the Tintin 2011 movie, their first mission with the Bad Batch, and them meeting the sailors again this time with the Batchers. Arc two will also keep its name and cover the entirety of the group’s interference of Star Wars the Clone Wars canon (rescuing Domino to taking down Palps), with a similar set up to arc one. Fallen Not Forgotten, Risk vs Reward, Level Up, Shadow in the Dark, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished, and A Legacy in Question. 

But I know that even the shortening isn’t drastic enough. I feel only dread thinking about the series now, and that won’t do. So, though it kills me, Arc One will probably be the only arc that gets an official posting. Once Moving Back to Look Forward ends in 2030 (barring any major complications), that will be it for official full length postings of Adventures!AU. I’ll still post snippets and segments from arc two on Discord (like I do now occasionally), but MBtLF will end in a way that wraps everything up nicely. I’ll be sure to craft it so it can remain open ended to their adventures, but the current trajectory will see the “main” storyline with Shadow and the Batch, plus the Tintin sailors, close in arc one. 

That’s the long term goal. So what’s short term? 

Next year I plan to at least partially post Anachronism. That story has remained in the drafts for long enough. Yes, that means To the Far Reaches is backed up another year for posting (2026). That story has a lot of emotional moments, a lot of dealing with past trauma and relationship issues, and I just don’t have the spoons for that right now. For those intense moments, I have to crack myself open a bit and let my heart bleed onto the page. I’m not in a position to do that right now. Anachronism lacked that depth, being a bit more surface level than the stories with the Batchers. It’s got its own emotional moments, but it’s not nearly as taxing. Additionally, I’m going back through what was Off to a Great Start (now The Adventure Begins) and bringing it up to the standards I try to hold OtRaTtW and TtFR to. But I learned my lesson posting stories out of order so I’m going to get Anachronism finished so there’s no continuity issues. 

That brings me to my next point; Adventures!AU canon. 

I’ve already announced that the posted C,MtC and FNF are both non-canon and should not be taken as fact. You can still enjoy them (best you can with the crack-writing) but any continuity issues should be ignored as they are from an earlier draft of the Adventures!AU. Well, that decanonization treatment is extending beyond those two. The Adventure Begins, Over the River and Through the Woods, and To the Far Reaches aren’t non-canon per se, but rather some elements of the remastered versions may contradict the original postings. Going forward, the “truest” version will be those depicted in the works posted to Adventures!AU Remastered on Wattpad. The first story (The Adventure Begins) won’t drop there until at least November 2025 but you’re free to watch it in the meantime. It’ll sit dormant for quite a bit longer though. Nothing major will change in the stories, but I plan to add some extra scenes and tweak some minor details (the Batchers time in the galaxy is one big thing I’m looking at tweaking).

More Thoughts About The Pikmin 4 Demo

Spoilers Ahead

So I've played through the demo twice now, the first time hitting the goal as fast as possible, and the second time trying to collect as many things as possible before hitting the goal.

I was able to clear the first area 99%, but I don't know what I was missing. The game implies that I'm missing a treasure, but I'm certain I got every above-ground treasure. However, when I had Oatchi sniff out for it, he took me to an empty lot, so I suspect that completely buried treasure might be back, and they don't show up on radar. Or maybe it's counting the raw materials that I was just a tad too slow to get before the day/demo ended. I might play though the demo one more time to test that theory, but atm I think I've done everything I can possibly do in the demo.

That said, if that was a near full clear for one area, then I wonder how substantial the rest of the game is gonna be. Pikmin 3 as I recall wasn't an enormous game and also wasn't difficult. It's also my least favorite because I got through it so quickly and easily that I don't have any lasting memories of it. I don't need 4 to be an arduous game like 2 was, but if the rest of it is gonna be this breezy, then I'm probably gonna beat it in under a week.

Despite that, I do actually like how short and focused the caves are turning out to be. There are so many great new QoL features in this one that it is gonna make going back to older titles even harder, but I'm worried that it's gonna be over too soon.

I also mostly like how the game plays. I'm not a huge fan of the auto-lock on, because it kinda makes battling a little brainless and frustrating when you're trying to do something that the game doesn't think you should be doing. Other than that, everything else feels pretty good.

I also like most of the new characters. We got a bunch of new funky looking freaks, but so far I like their personalities more than the Pikmin 3 crew. Shepard is my baby. I want to feed her lots of snacks. Besides that, almost all the castaways being from different planets but having the same body plan has my mind wandering about how expansive this universe is. But, more than anything, I hope we finally get a straight answer about why almost everyone seems to crash-land on PNF-404. Speaking of...

There's also the fact that despite my earlier theories, this planet is apparently still PNF-404. While I didn't post about it, I had theorized that perhaps the planet wasn't actually Earth, since none of the information before now ever called this planet PNF-404. I figured that it was a new planet settled by humans given how new all of the (presumably) man-made structures are, but now that I know this game seems to be an alternate take on Pikmin 1's story instead of a direct sequel to 3, it's possible that the "post-apocalyptic" part of the story might have just been dropped entirely. (I guess Nintendo decided that they only needed one series to take place on post-apocalypse Earth).

Then again, I forgot why we all thought PNF-404 was post-apocalyptic in the first place. The presence of human objects with the absence of humans doesn't necessarily imply that they got wiped out, especially considering how so many of the things they left behind like food and battery powered technology were apparently still edible and functional respectively. My new theory is that whoever lives in this house is just on vacation or something, and their house got overrun with pests in the meantime. But, knowing Nintendo, there probably isn't going to be a "real" answer about where the humans are.

It was nice to play shorter games again - it makes reviewing pretty quick... Now that the IFComp is also over, I kind of want to go back and check out the entries I didn't manage to play.

As for the rest... It's been a bit of a hell of a month, and it's not looking like it's ending any time soon. Still, when I had some free time I managed to:

Finish my portion of the edits of Harcourt (and MelS was almost done with it... before he ran into computer problems - dw the file is safe!)

Assess the damage with The Roads Not Taken and come up with a plan to fix all of it. I also started on this one, but there is truly a lot of damage.

Does it look like I got distracted by a shiny new thing instead of finishing my projects? Yes. Do I care? Nope. It brought me some joy and amusement in some weird months... Banging your head against the desk because code is not working is... not, obviously.

What’s happening in December?

A bunch of jams are happening on itch, because end of year means maybe some free time, and also, you might as well do something for the sake of saying you've made something.

The Sprouting Round of the SeedComp! (@seedcomp-if) has just started. There are 99 new seeds available for use to make a game! Deadline is March 1st.

The PLANtm for December

December is a busy month for me, which includes a lot of time offline, full days travelling, and lots of planning. So I will take any free time I have and do fun stuff if I can!

But if I have space for IF, I'd like to:

Play more games! Well... I already am, just not really IF. My Steam Library is crying for attention. I would like to knock down maybe a dozen more IFComp entries if I can. There were a lot of good games, a lot of loooong games.

Code Ch5 of Harcourt. That will be MelS dependent - well, MelS's computer dependent...

Finish fixing The Roads Not Taken. I have a plan, I have the notes... I just need to sit down and re-code (and re-test).

Finish the Guide for real! I know SugarCube 2.37 is coming soon, which will affect the state of some pages (and maybe require more pages). BUT I've been working on fixing old pages (typos - re-explanation - clearer examples). So, this is likely to be done sooner rather than later...

ok I'm not going to dwell on this for obvious reasons, but that article + Ethan coming off of priv made me think some things and I'd like to just get them off my chest... Basically that article provided absolutely nothing new and just rehashed the same stuff the PR machine has been pumping out for 2 months, which doesn't make sense considering there was no new news for a long time. Which leads me to believe that either 1) Ari/Ethan want to go public with their relationship, or know that pap pics

are coming soon (this is more likely considering how recently Ari and Ethan were both in NYC); or 2) Ari's team is finally getting it's shit together, maybe she's got someone new in charge of this scandal, and they wanted to put out one blanket statement under this new leadership to start them out cohesively. i think this is equally as likely since even though her album re-release, perfume and makeup launches have been generally recieved well by fans, if you click on any news piece about her 99% of the time the #1 comment is something about spongebob or her being a homewrecker and the new damage control team needs to establish themselves sort of publicly but also secretly, if that makes sense. and as for ethan coming off of priv, that leads me to three theories: either 1) he's hired someone to completely overtake his socials (prob an experienced PR manager who is gonna be handling everything that gets posted to that account from now on); 2) he's contractually obligated to post things for wicked/spamalot and those teams have basically enforced his contract, forcing him to come off of priv, or 3) he and ari have broken up. tbh i think him and ari breaking up would be enough for him to come off of private, since as soon as that news breaks all of the people who were only following him bc they were invested in the scandal will likely leave him alone. i mean he's gained 10k followers since he came off priv and the number is growing literally by the second, does anyone know if that's how it works when you come off of priv with a bunch of follow requests, or do they all get added at once? other than that article there's been no news so a bunch of people flooding him today doesn't make sense, but seeing how the number is going up bit by bit instead of all at once is making me sus. either way i think that either the news that ethan and ari are broken up, or something very big in terms of their relationship is coming.

About the article coming out: I think the biggest reason for an article like this (with no new info) coming out is because Ariana has new management now. Whether or not the info in the article is true remains to be seen, but like you said it seems like her team is trying to get their act together.

About Ethan coming off private: Oof, that would make me really sad if he hired someone else to run his socials lol! I think the most likely scenario are one (or both) of the second two options. Spamalot begins previews on October 31, so rehearsals are prob gonna start within the next couple of weeks. His rapidly growing following is very strange, as I'm typing this he's at 109K. I think what you said about his follow requests being added after coming off private is correct because no one seems to have noticed that he's public now. I noticed he was public in the evening (I live in EST timezone for reference), and his following just started gradually growing since then.

I have a feeling that something big might be coming out soon.

Well, folks. It's been a week since the last post. I was waiting until Crunchyroll retired the advertisement to publish the third part, but it's past the end of september and they haven't took it down yet, so I think I'm just gonna release it now. The phenomenon has calmed down and nothing notorious has happened since october started and I doubt anything else happens until they decide to retire it, which will probably be a tragic day. Tuesday (continuation)

The whole affair permeated into society. The ladies from the morning show had talked about how parents should get involved with the interests of their children. Passerbys who don't know of the anime (such as older generations) got curious and approached to ask what was all the fuss about. Even a group of little kids were seen in a school trip and visiting the memorial.

Metro took advantage of the situation and published a message in Twitter saying that Gojo advises people to follow the security rules of the public transport. This is not unusual. Brands and community managers regularly make anime references, because like half of the chilean population loves anime (including CMs).

People answered the tweet asking for a special Metro card themed after Jujutsu Kaisen. The CM also wrote things like "in our hearts he's still around" and "we refuse to believe he's dead" in the replies. Now they actively encouraged fans to leave their messages in the mural.

Friday (september 29)

As mentioned before we have a couple of TV channels dedicated to anime. One of those channels, ETC, was the first media outlet that published the news last week and now they visited the memorial (it starts at 10:30). They read some messages and praised the creativity and organizational skills of fans. They also discussed how this went beyond the local anime community, reaching families, the rest of society and international fans.

They interviewed the staff of Metro and some fans. The lady from Metro did this whole corporate talk about how important is for the company to engage with the citizens, because they are a public service. Metro also published an article on their website, saying they were surprised with the whole affair.

By this point the advertisement has gotten completely covered. I've had noticed that people were avoiding to cover his face, but since the wall had become crowded and there wasn't more space, in the end they left messages on top of the face too. The thing even goes around the wall.

As a final note, another cultural fun fact. In chilean culture, animitas (from the word anima, which means soul) are set up to honour the deceased and it's believed their spirits roam around the place, so people go and ask favours. In the yellow sticky note someone is asking Gojo to bless this person and help them to find a job. Here's a thread explaining more about it.

The Gojo memorial: the whole story

You may already seen that here in Chile people created a shrine in the subway in order to honour Satoru Gojo. I'll try to recreate the entire chain of events as far as I could gather in social media for everyone's convenience, so you can read about the whole thing in just one post. There was an advertisement by Crunchyroll promoting the series at some subway stations. A few people decided to bring some flowers and messages as offering to the character.

The thing started to quickly escalate and soon more people started to leave messages, flowers and candles.

I remember seeing a picture of someone from the staff of Metro cleaning the offerings with a broom. I tried to search for it now, but I can't find it anymore. It got buried by the flood of tweets.

The next day the memorial became huge. You may think that people were being serious about the whole thing of setting a memorial , but most messages and drawings were humourous. A few of them:

Saturday (september 23)

The next morning Metro changed their minds and allowed the messages and drawings, but they said that candles were forbidden, because they're dangerous. Understandable.

The event had started to make it to the online versions of the news media, but also in the print version for it appeared on the front page of one of the major newspapers. They dedicated 3 pages surrounding the whole thing. One for the memorial itself, one for the cultural importance of the religious practice known as "animitas" and one for the social impact of anime.

The shrine continued to grow and people started to leave other offerings like sunglasses and even gummies and chocolates. You see, in our culture when people set up animitas usually they leave things that the person liked. I've never seen this anime and I don't know the character. Does he likes candy? You guys tell me.

By the time I'm writing this post is sunday. I heard the rumour that Crunchyroll called Metro to retire the advertisement, but I cannot confirm if this is true or not. Also, I have the feeling that the whole situation can even appear on TV, considering that we have 2 TV channels dedicated solely to anime, but that would be on monday. We'll see. If I see any new development in the saga of the Gojo memorial I'll update this post.

Top 10 Video Games of All Time: bobgoesw00t Edition (Part 03)

I realized yesterday that if I’m gonna get the rest of this list posted by the end of the year that I need to step it up and post one every other day (with the exception of my top pick as I’ll be spending that afternoon with my family at our Christmas/Wintersday/Holiday party...as long as none of us get COVID within the next two weeks...but if that doesn’t happen, I’ll be back on the 27th with that post), SO HERE WE GO NUMBER 08 GOES TO:

Now I know a lot of people will tell you this is one of the worst entries in the franchise but let's all be honest, that award probably goes to Halo 5 Guardians. While Halo 5 has PERFECT gameplay IMO, it's campaign is a load of crap (with the exception of the opening cutscene which is FUCKING PHENOMENAL), War Zone is super one sided 99% of the time unless it's War Zone Turbo or War Zone Firefight and it's inclusion of loot boxes without any system to increase the drop rate of rarer items is a load of bullshit. But that's not what I'm here to talk about, I'm here to talk about Halo 4.

The first time I watched the Prologue upon booting up the campaign, I literally thought I was watching a live action cutscene and I continued to think that for a longest time. The one thing this game has going for it to be honest is how GORGEOUS it is and the team at 343 pushed the Xbox 360 to it's limits in order to get the game to look that good. The story was the most emotional one we had gotten at the time of release and seeing John struggle with completing his mission of saving humanity while not wanting to let go of Cortana is heartbreaking and it stabs me in the feels EVERY DAMN TIME!!!

While most people detest Spartan Ops (while loving the gorgeous cutscenes at the start of every episode), I was one of the minority in loving it. Having a series of bit-sized campaign missions to play each week while using my custom loadouts (one of my favorite gameplay features which I'll go over in a bit) was a good way to keep me coming back to play the game and it kept the multiplayer from getting too boring for me.

Speaking of which, I KICKED ASS in the multiplayer when the game launched and I think that's been some of the most fun I've ever had in Halo multiplayer. The fact that each of the guns felt good to use and they all sounded like they packed a punch (ESPECIALLY the DMR! The Halo Reach version of that gun is good in the campaign and Firefight but it totally sucks in the multiplayer IMO and it lacks the OOMPH the Halo 4 and 5 versions have that let you know it's a beast) is awesome. Hell, the Halo 4 Magnum is my favorite version of the weapon as it took everything about the previous pistols/magnums and melded them into a great sidearm. And the game's Assault Rifle is good as well to be honest, not just from an audio perspective but it has a good clip size, max ammo count, fate of fire (without feeling like a pea shooter like in Reach and Infinite at times), and it has decent range.

Gonna talk about gameplay real quickly before I give the score and the two honorable mentions for this entry and all I have to say is THANK GOD 343 GOT RID OF SPRINT AS AN ARMOR ABILITY!!!!!!! That's one of my BIGGEST criticisms with Halo Reach, Sprinting is locked behind an ARMOR ABILITY when literally every other First Person Shooter at the time had Sprint as a default ability that can be used at any point. The other Armor Abilities in Reach are great (Drop Shield will SAVE YOUR ASS in the campaign on harder difficulties) but I still can't get behind Sprint being something that needs to be swapped out for other options. Halo 4 also has some good abilities, with my personal favorite being the Thruster Pack as it's basically the games version of Evade from Reach and it has many uses outside of the obvious "dodge out of the way". Also LOOOOVE that they FINALLY let us use custom loadouts outside of private matches, something I was HIGHLY disappointed in when Reach came out cause in the previews and stuff before it came out, Bungie had said we could make Custom Loadouts but didn't specify that it was exclusive to private matches.

Overall, Halo 4 ended up being everything I wanted it to be and more, and it continues to be my favorite entry in the franchise, but Halo Infinite is a VERY close second for not only addressing the problems Halo 5 had, but also for bringing in an open world setting and giving me the one thing I never knew I needed in a Halo game...A GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING GRAPPLING HOOK!!!!! So I have to give Halo 4 the same score I gave it ten years ago:

Star Wars Battlefront II (2005): While the 2017 game is in a stable place now and is a lot of fun, matches can tend to be super one sided for me and nothing will ever beat my memories of spending hours playing Mos Eisley Hero Assault on my computer, abusing Aayla Secura's Force Pull from on top of the ship half buried in the ground and WAILING ON THE POOR SUCKER THAT WAS UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE MY PRAY xD

I believe this question pertains to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.  Furthermore, I’m going to define "obsessions" as persistent and unwanted thoughts that can become repetitive to the point of causing distress in someone. "Compulsions" are behaviours and/or rituals that someone is driven to act out repeatedly in order to decrease their distress caused by an obsession. Both are often debilitating because the person has little / no control over them, and it can consume time they want to spend elsewhere; in other words, they aren’t just small habits or quirks that someone chooses to do on a whim, or even because they want to.

Knowing this, I wouldn’t consider Bruce to have OCD, because he doesn’t experience obsessions or compulsions on a level that interferes with his daily life in a debilitating way, or makes him excessively stressed. That said, he does have a few muted, wholly automatic worries that may be considered obsessions if they were more pronounced in nature. He also has some nervous habits, but they aren’t debilitating enough to be compulsions.

First off, Bruce has a tendency to check his surroundings and maintain an updated awareness of them, meaning he’ll periodically look up from whatever he’s doing and scan the area, even if it only happens for a moment in a single glance. This becomes even more frequent when he’s in a transformed state — at these times, unless Bruce is actively speaking with someone, his eyes will constantly flit around the room, and he’ll be very attuned to changes in his environment. This tendency gradually lessens over the course of his timeline, for both of his forms, until it's almost nonexistent in verses like The Persistence.

This behaviour is a consequence of hypervigilance and anxiety, which was caused by the abuse in Bruce's childhood, in addition to traumatic occurrences in which he was found by Ross (which often happened in places he initially believed were safe). These days, Bruce is unconsciously tempted to look around every now and again, even if he is alone and the chances of someone actually being there are low, to ensure he won't be caught by surprise. This happens because even if Banner can rationalize that he's alone (and therefore safe), this rationalization is always overshadowed by a low-level fear that is so subtle, he can seldom detect it. This fear comes from his sympathetic nervous system, which has a much more active baseline than that of a neurotypical individual.

(In other words, he is usually in fight-or-flight mode, even if the symptoms are either imperceptible or very mild.)

Secondly, whenever Bruce enters a building, enters his bedroom, or goes to bed, he tends to double- or triple-check whether the doors and windows of applicable rooms are locked. This isn't a guaranteed behaviour, though. If he's distracted by something or otherwise preoccupied with a task, he won't bother checking more than once, if at all, because his mind is too absorbed in that unrelated task; it's not as restless and is less inclined to "search" for something that's wrong. And it usually doesn’t happen if he’s in the Northwind Observatory, too, because he tends to trust those doors more than others.

Evidently, this is a ritualistic behaviour that makes Bruce feel safe and secure in his environment. It's also difficult for Bruce to reason his way out of the behaviour once he's set on doing it. Furthermore, even if he is rationally aware that he locked a door moments earlier, he's often driven to take an additional glance at it, as if he couldn't process the initial locking, or he couldn't trust his own judgement and he needed to reaffirm the event to himself. But fortunately, unlike what often happens with OCD, where an individual is driven to repeat a behaviour multiple times, he doesn't repeat this process of checking more than once or twice. Additionally, he won't return to a location to repeat the behaviour once he's already left it.

(For instance, if Bruce settles into bed and starts wondering if a door is really locked, he can assure himself, with relative ease, that he wouldn't have gotten into bed in the first place if he didn't already confirm it was locked.)

If these behaviours were debilitating enough, to the point where Bruce could actually be diagnosed with OCD, he would likely be considered to have the checking form of it.

Last but not least, while they are not compulsions, Bruce does have a few different nervous habits. These include shrugging his shoulders, clenching his teeth, biting or licking his lips, pacing, and messing around with the cuffs of his shirt. These usually happen when he’s unsettled or agitated, at which times he instinctively channels his sentiments into smaller physical symptoms, rather than vocally expressing them, or expressing them in a more obvious physical manner. This is because he was taught from a young age that drawing attention to himself was dangerous and emotionally harmful, and these habits are a vestige of that. They’re a means of dispelling excess energy as quietly as possible, and with as minimal of a footprint as possible, lest he incurs a punishment of some kind. He doesn’t think about this when he does them; they just happen automatically.

These nervous habits, just like Bruce’s tendency to check his surroundings, are also the product of trauma and anxiety. They are ingrained behavioural patterns that he benefitted from as a child and in his early teens, and because of it, they have stuck around.

Hulk, on the other hand, doesn't show any of the above behaviours. He's much more confident in himself than Bruce is, in addition to more assured of his prowess at both detecting and neutralizing threats. After all, his very purpose is to protect Banner and provide a barrier between him and emotional distress, and in his eyes, he does a good job at it, and he doesn't need to put in as much effort to ensure it. Thus, Hulk doesn't feel compelled to spend much time looking around, inspecting his surroundings, and double-checking locks. Despite this, he still has a highly pronounced level of external awareness and is very sensitive to changes in his environment. He is similar to Bruce in that way; his nervous system, too, is often more activated than that of the average person.

As a footnote, Bruce does become preoccupied with certain things. This includes his scientific work, his impact on other people (whether positive or negative), how other people see him, how he’ll be remembered when he’s gone, and his condition. But as mentioned earlier, these are not obsessions in the truest sense of the word, nor are the behaviours he does to address them (like long stints in the lab and researching his condition) compulsions.

OKAY, SO. I had made a thing to 99% completion in my winter holidays, but then I had to go back to uni for 8 weeks while this thing was waiting to get finished the whole time. Since yesterday though, it is now DONE. So, this is what it is: A model of Luz & King's room in the Owl House, built from Lego!!!

As you can see, it's a very boxy shape, and includes the door, and even a lid to stop the inside getting dusty. Take off the lid, and wow! There's a room inside!!

It's a bit awkward looking inside with all the walls there though. So we can take some of them off, and easily too, because a lot of the studs that these walls sit on have been replaced with tiles. You have to remove two long bits from the front, two large wall chunks and one tile before you can see into the room like so:

And there we have it: the mouse tank, the beds, the old chests and paintings that are present in every room of the house, Jean-Luc in the corner, Luz's Azura poster, even the little doormat :D

I tried very hard to get the room looking as accurate as possible, but it was difficult at times to 1) get pictures of certain areas, and 2) build things to a scale that looked both accurate and nice.

Firstly, there are areas of the room we barely see in the show, like the righthand side and the corner at the front right, and while I was looking through my dozens of reference pictures, I also found that the positions of objects - and even the objects themselves sometimes - change slightly, so I either used combinations of multiple screenshots, or screenshots from the latest episodes (KKKOHD, Eclipse Lake) to help me decide some things.

Secondly, because of how things change slightly across different perspectives of the room in the show, and just the fact that I was constrained to the dimensions of Lego bricks, some things are a bit odd if you look closely. For example, the mouse cage is an entire 3 by 5 studs because it has to be large enough to contain the mouse piece I have.

Overall though, this thing looks awesome, and I'm sure 99% of people seeing it won't actually notice the odd parts, because not all of us spent a few weeks looking through 30 different screenshots of the place \o/

These next four pictures show some of the walls in more detail:

The top two photos are typical angles of the room, while the bottom two show areas we don't see much - the chest + barrel pile, checkered banner, and the door plus the doormat.

Things I loved building the most include:

- the chest near the window

- the Azura poster

- the mouse cage and the chest it sits on

- the red & black banner

- the bell on a string that hangs near the door

- the little Jean-Luc. Fun fact about him: I actually made a larger and more detailed one beforehand, realised it was far too big, then cobbled together this tiny one in a few minutes c: (the bigger one is gonna have to get its own post eventually)

(btw I forgot to put the hat on Jean-Luc at first, so it's only in this one photo, oops)

Now, something I think is really awesome about this room: Almost everything is completly stuck in place. This means you can lift up the whole thing, flip it upside-down, and nothing falls out! Not the broom, not the pillows, not the paintings leaning against the walls, not even the books sitting on the floor! Jean-Luc is the only exception to this - they sit very snugly in the corner, but aren't actually connected to anything.

If you do want to play with the room though, you can >:) Things are stuck down, but only on a few studs, with tiles underneath. This means you can easily take off anything you want - the chests, bed, mouse cage, etc! You can take the broom from the wall and sweep the floor, you can move the pillows, do what you want (: Finally, because there's so many pictures involved with this thing, I filtered some of the extra pictures and put them in some Imgur galleries because none of them fit in the post: Reference pictures (the main ones I used) Photos of building process

Float Like A Butterfly... Chapter 5: So Last Season

Summary: Now that Adrien is no longer Chat Noir he doesn't have to get hit all the time. Unfortunately, his luck doesn't seem to have gotten the memo... Or has it?

"So, how're you holding up?"

"Please, Adrien, it's my mother! I'm positively ecstatic!"

"Exactly. It's your mother."

Chloe looked down for a second before her eyes snapped back up, any doubts she had hidden in an instant. "She's finally coming back! I'll finally be able to show her what she's been missing." Chloe tossed her ponytail back to emphasize the unspoken Me. "Now, I've gotta go. Sabrina insisted we do an 'emotional support routine' or whatever beforehand. Ciao!"

Sighing, Adrien stared at his phone for a moment before putting it down. He knew Chloe was grateful for Sabrina's help but it was still a struggle getting her to admit it.

Or getting her to admit how much Audrey had hurt her.

It was one thing to travel halfway around the world for your career and leave your daughter behind. It was something else entirely to completely ignore her. In all the years since Audrey left Chloe hadn't received a single birthday gift, phone call or text message. Adrien would know. Chloe would've bragged about it endlessly if her mother had taken so much as two seconds to acknowledged her existence-

Adrien's foot jerked, striking the vanity table and making the connected mirror tremble. Heart suddenly pounding against his chest as tension built up in his forehead. Distressed expression reflecting back at him.

Breathe, Adrien. Breathe.

Slowly, he inhaled.

Then exhaled.

Again.

Good.

He was okay.

Adrien was okay.

Guilt pricked like a thorn for thinking of his own problems when Chloe needed him. Adrien crushed it with his anger and annoyance but it was still there. Like a splinter that wouldn't come out.

I hate you.

Swiping out of the video chat Adrien tapped on Nino's number. It rang... and rang... and rang...

He's annoyed with me. I did something wrong again and Nino doesn't want to-

Adrien smacked both sides of his face. No, dummy! Nino's just busy or something. Stop that!

It wasn't every day a teenage DJ provided the music for Paris Fashion Week, after all. Nino had to make sure all his equipment was working properly.

The door to his dressing room burst open.

"Adrien, your friend Mlle. Dupain-Cheng will be bringing the last article of the new Gabriel line," Nathalie announced. "Your father expects everything to be perfect for Audrey Bourgeois."

"Doesn't he always?" Adrien deadpanned.

Nathalie stared at his watery eyes before typing something into her tablet. "Your performance on catwalks only has a 99% success rate. He expects you'll do better."

Father thinks you're a failure just like everyone else. He-

Shut up! Adrien felt something heavy settle in his chest.

One of the makeup artists came rushing in and Nathalie gestured her towards Adrien. "Touch up his eyes," she instructed and then left.

Jaw clenching, Adrien sat perfectly still as the makeup artist did her job. He was never entirely sure what the staff thought about him. 'Professional' was a word that was tossed around a lot. That used to fill him with a little pride... Before all of this.

The last person to suggest that a thirteen year old mourning his mother wasn't 'professional' so much as he was 'depressed' had never come back to work... Oh. Adrien had forgotten about that.

Finishing quickly, the makeup artist left too. Leaving Adrien with his thoughts. He didn't want to be with his thoughts at the moment. They were distracting and Nathalie had not been subtle.

His phone vibrated as it received someone's text.

Ni-Non: hey dude!

Ni-Non: it's crazy over here man

Ni-Non: break a leg! ;)

Adrien smiled as his unpleasant mood faded to the back of his mind... And if he saw similarities between his family and Chloe's, well, that's why he could empathize with her.

Adrien: That's theater but I guess there's not much difference.

Adrien: Thanks. ^_^

There was a knock at his door. Adrien stopped fidgeting in the awkward suit to go answer it.

"Hello, Marinette." Adrien smiled in greeting.

"Oh, uh, hello!" Marinette gave a small wave as she stepped up the short stairs and-

Adrien braced himself with one foot while his hands went to her shoulders. Steadying Marinette as she quickly removed her weight from him.

"Oh! Uh, sorry." Marinette looked away in embarrassment at having tripped into him.

"... No worries!" Adrien smiled as he shook his head. Marinette seemed... subdued. Reaching down to pick up the hat that had fallen. "Oh, no." The artificial feather Marinette made for his allergies had come loose. "I hope it's not too hard to fix it."

Marinette looked down. "Uh, y'know, it doesn't really matter. This hat is a complete failure anyway."

"What? No, it's not!" Adrien rose to his feet quickly in shock. "Why would you say that?"

"Because... the queen of fashion, Audrey Bourgeois, saw it and hated it!" Marinette's hands covered her face, voice breaking. "I'm sorry, Adrien. I really messed up. I'm a total no talent!" Her arms wrapped around herself in a hug. "Please, don't put it on," she pleaded.

Adrien's heart went out to Marinette as she laid her insecurities bare. "Marinette, everything's going to be fine." He searched for the proper spot to reattach the feather,  fiddling with it as Adrien reassured her. "Your hat looks great. I think it's awesome and so does... my father." Adrien cleared his throat as he managed to fix her hat. "Otherwise he wouldn't have picked it for me. Look!"

Putting Marinette's hat on Adrien walked across the dressing room like he was already performing. Striking a few poses to ease Marinette's anxiety. "See?"

It seemed to work as Marinette gave a small smile. "You got that catwalk down," she complimented.

Adrien rubbed the back of his neck. "Really? Thank you."

"Ah-hem," Nathalie cleared her throat. "We have to go." Without waiting for Marinette she turned on her heel and started walking towards the viewing area.

Adrien rolled his eyes but smiled at Marinette's back as she hurried to catch up. Turning back to look at himself in the mirror Adrien scanned his outfit. The suit may have been generic and a few seams too close to last year's entry but Marinette's hat was fire.

"Okay!" Adrien was gonna go out there and make sure they recognized Marinette's talent!

Holding Marinette's hat to his chest Adrien stuck his head out in a decidedly 'unprofessional' manner. Spotting Marinette's family and a bunch of his friends in the first row. Adrien's blond head caught Nino's eye from across the catwalk and he gave him a thumbs up.

Adrien waved as he ducked back behind the corner before the photographers could take any pictures of the Agreste heir acting like a kid.

You got this, Adrien. Nino's DJ-ing, your classmates came -even though most of them don't care about fashion- with any luck Alix and Kim will tease you about it for the next month.

That would give Adrien the opportunity to dish out a bunch of jokes he never got the chance to use!

The music started; that was his cue.

You got this!

Adrien posed on the runway. Camera flashes already starting. Strutting down the catwalk Adrien smirked at Marinette. See? Stopping at the platform's end he posed in various angles for the photographers. Nino seemed to be enjoying himself too and that made Adrien's smile come much more naturally.

A small eruption boomed behind him and Adrien turned to see Hawkmoth's latest fashion disaster. Gasping, as his heart started hammering in his chest.

"A fashion show without the Queen of Style!? Glitter-ally unacceptable!" The akuma villain announced. "Where's that ungrateful Gabriel Agreste. I demand that he kneels before me!"

Ugh, what has he done now?

"My father isn't here," Adrien snapped in annoyance. Hearing people running for the exits.

"Well, then. If fashion disaster daddy isn't here I'll just have to settle for Agreste Junior! You're fired!"

Adrien's eyes widened as he stepped back. Golden glitter exploding everywhere as his body became numb and his senses dark-

-Glowing ladybugs swirled around him as Adrien had the disorienting feeling of laying  down when he could've sworn he'd been standing. Glancing around, Adrien realized he was now at the Eiffel Tower.

"Adrik- Adrien!" Chloe tackled him as he stood, throwing her arms around him. "I was so scared!"

Adrien blinked in surprise as Chloe set her head on his shoulder. Not letting him go... Adrien smiled as he hugged her back. Enjoying this genuine display of affection.

"Pound it!"

Head snapping towards the sound Adrien saw another Black Cat, this one a girl with long, reddish hair, fist bump Ladybug. They grinned at each other in post battle relief.

I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!

A chill to rival Frozer's ice covered Adrien from head to toe. It was one thing to see Ladybug working with a different Black Cat on the news. Quite another to have his replacement. Three. Frickin. Meters. In front of him!

Chloe didn't notice... Or rather Adrien didn't notice when she'd let go to help her mother. Who tried to fire her own daughter as thanks.

Adrien jerked his eyes away from the superhero duo-

I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!

-Away from the Miraculous holders and forced himself to listen to whatever the Bourgeois were saying. Ears ringing as Ladybug and the Black Cat talked about something behind him...

"Oh, mom. If only you knew what a great team we made!" Chloe trailed after her mother as they walked down the tower's stairs; attempting to capture her attention. "We fired a bunch of incompetents. It was awesome. We should really spend more time together! What if I went back to New York with you?"

"Don't be ridiculous, Casserole- Eh, Chloe!" Audrey dismissed. "First I have to get back to Gabriel Agreste's fashion show. And they better..."

Adrien's eyes narrowed as he looked down from the railing, his grip on it tightening. Heat from a growing indignation melting the ice he felt. What did she just call Chloe?

"Adrien Agreste, right? I can give you a lift back if you want."

His tensed body jerked in surprise as Adrien realized Ladybug was standing right behind him. Throat and chest constricting as his thoughts whirled. Spots darkened his vision as he felt lightheaded. Adrien's knuckles becoming white, the metal railing digging into his skin. A single thought rose above the ringing in his ears.

I don't wanna talk to her.

Giving his best model smile, Adrien schooled his features. "Ah, thanks but-" he pointed down, "-I should really check on them."

"O-oh! Of course!"

Ladybug's face was out of focus but Adrien could still feel the melancholy in her voice.

Powering past his queasy stomach Adrien made his way to the stairs. The sound of Ladybug's yo-yo whirring reached his ears; signaling her departure. Adrien took a shuddering gasp as he leaned against a metal pillar for support. Body suddenly limp.

Breath accelerating Adrien tried to calm himself. Why was he up here? Had- Had Audrey's blast mind controlled him? Again!? He couldn't breathe.

Adrien sank to his knees as he felt his skin crawl at the idea of that- that- asshole reaching into his mind and taking away his free will. He hated it! He HATED it!

Gasping as his rage broke him out of the panic, Adrien steadied his breathing... He wanted- no, needed to know what happened... Which meant getting up and moving forward... Forcing himself to his feet Adrien wiped the sweat from his brow and followed the others down.

"Remind me to tell your father to fire the person in charge of the Eiffel Tower elevators..." Audrie panted. "This is... unacceptable... utterly unacceptable!"

"Of course, mom. Oh!" Chloe glanced down to see what she'd stumbled on.

Adrien looked up as he fanned himself with Marinette's hat.

And dropped it.

He stared open mouthed at the small, black, octagonal box in Chloe's hands. Heartbeat leaping into his throat.

What the hell is THAT doing here!?

"Ooh! What's this?" Chloe turned the box around in her hands but didn't open it.

Adrien suddenly forgot his exhaustion and rushed to her side. The lie coming easily to his lips. "Oh, I recognize that! They sell them at antique shops."

"Ew, it's old! Get it away from me!" Chloe practically hurled it at Adrien.

Catching it easily. A thrill ran up Adrien's arms and down his spine as the box made contact with his skin. The hairs at the back of his neck standing on end.

Chloe dusted her hands and kept walking. Glancing nervously at her mother. Hoping Audrey hadn't seen her with something so outdated.

I hate you! I hate you! I hate you! The voice in his head said.

Shut up, Adrien told it as he stared at the unknown Miraculous in his hand. Heartbeat hammering in his chest. But it wasn't from fear. No, it was... anticipation.

The corners of Adrien's lips curled upwards.

Y/N joined the Avengers shortly after the big fight between Tony and Steve. Stark recruited her due to Fury's orders, she used to be under control of Hydra, like Barnes.. All of the Avengers had no problem with her, only one..

''Stupid Rogers!" Y/N shriek as she stares into her bathroom mirror..

Once again, Rogers benched her, because and she quote

'She used to be just like them!'

They were supposed to raid a Hydra facility, and something snapped at Steve's brain when he saw that Y/N was going too.

Y/N sighs, she just gripped the porcelain sink and steadied herself, she was ready to kill Steve, she was so angry.. Y/N just washed her face with the cold water from the faucet, hoping that it'll help ease the anger in her blood.

She exits the bathroom and was greeted by Bucky, he was sitting in her bed.

"Hello Tinman.." Y/N gave Bucky a smile.

"I want to apologize for--"

"You don't need to apologize in behalf of Steve.. I'm cool.."

"Are you really?"

"Yepp!No word of Captain Ass can get to me.."

Bucky crossed his arms, he knew she was lying.. Y/N just awkwardly smiled at him, she walks to her bed and dived in her bed..

"You can leave now, your boyfriend's might be missing you now.."

And in queue Sam and Steve popped up in her door, Steve was furious.. His eyes were fixed to Bucky, while Sam was just smiling slyly..

"Speak of the devils.." Y/N mutters as she gave Steve a deadly glare.

Bucky stood up from her bed and gave the two men a small nod.. Steve was still looking at Bucky but it soon averted to Y/N, she just raised her eyebrow at him.

"Have a fun mission, you two.."

"Will do, Y/N" Sam answered and gave Y/N a smile which she gladly gave back.

"Oh, Bucky!Pouvez-vous s'il vous plaît pousser le capitaine hors de l'avion pour moi?" Y/N spoke in french knowing that Bucky will understand.

Can you please push Captain out of the plane for me?

Bucky just laughs and shakes his head as Sam grabs him and drag him out of Y/N's sight. However, someone still hasn't left and it made her anger bubbled up even more.

"I swear to God if you don't leave, I'll squeeze your kneecaps.." Y/N said jokingly? She was not sure, she might just do that if Steve won't stop his douche ways..

"Cut it out, Y/N.." Steve ordered..

Y/N rolled her eyes, she sashay her way to Steve and move her face closer to his.

"You're not my Captain, you don't get to order me around.."

Y/N was supposed to walk away but was stopped by Rogers hand in her arms.. However, his hands didn't hurt her, his touch was soft and gentle.. Typical Steve..

"I'm the Captain, you'll obliged to me.."

Y/N scoffs as she takes her arm away from him, she looked him deeply in his and saw that there were anger filling his blue eyes.. This guy really hates her..

"And what if I don't?What would you do?Fire me?Spank me?" She sassed but Steve eyes soften and his eyes wander to her body..

Y/N brows furrowed, what was Steve doing? He just stared at her and his cheeks suddenly got flushed.. Di-Did he just imagine what Y/N has said??

"What?" Y/N was weirded out, she hated the eerie silence between them and to top that up he might be imagining sexual things or so she thought..

"Capsicle, let's go!" Stark voice boomed out through the whole tower, it made Steve snap back to reality and he just walks away.

This made Y/N flabbergasted, he walked away just like that.. After the awkward silence and him being flustered, he just walked away with no explanation or whatsoever. Y/N just huffed in annoyance and flops back down to her comfortable messy bed..

What is wrong with Steve?

Days passed and it seems that Y/N is finally at peace, there were no longer eyes watching her.. Yes, Steve has given up.. How does she know? Simple, Steve is now avoiding and pretending she doesn't exist.. Which is fine by her, but there's this small pain in her heart.. She missed Steve acting like a douche..

Y/N mentally slaps herself, she used to complain about Steve always criticizing and annoying her but why is she missing it now? Y/N sighs as she slams her head in the table infront of her. A piercing pain welcomed her as her head hit the table but she ignored it.

"Umm, can I go on with my briefing?" Tony was standing in the middle of the big briefing room..

Y/N put her hands up and gestures an 'okay', she completely forgot that she was sitting with the Avengers in the middle of a meeting..

"Are you okay, Y/N?" Wanda was the first to ask her that, Y/N just let out a groan.. All of them just shared knowing looks and Tony fakes a cough.

"If you want to rest, you can go.." Tony chided..

"Alright.."

Y/N stood up and was almost to the door when Steve's phone suddenly rang, he answered it..

"Sharon?"

This name made Y/N stop, are they together? They look nice together, she hope that they'll break up soon.

"I'll be there.." Steve endes his call and stands up..

"Sorry everyone, I have a date with someone.." He push passed Y/N leaving her heart on the floor..

He has a date? Why is she even concerned about that? She doesn't care, Steve's stupid anyway!

"Wow, Capsicle is going on a date, I'll be damned.."

"And with Sharon?She's nice.." Wanda chirps in..

Meanwhile, Natasha notices Y/N who was dumbfounded and hurt by all the recent events..

"Aren't you gonna go, Y/N?" Nat asked with mischievous eyes wandering to her face..

Y/N put out a fake smile and left, how is she feeling this way? Does she like Steve? She groans as those thoughts eat her alive, maybe she just need a fresh air..

That's exactly what Y/N needs, she has been cooped up in the tower for weeks now.. She sped up to her room and grab her keys, jackets and Tony's credit card.. He won't mind it, that man is richer than the whole US goverment..

Y/N jogs to the elevator, turns out she's not going to be waiting for the elevator alone.. Steve is right there, also waiting for an elevator so he can go to his fancy date with someone else..

"Fuck.."

Y/N was deep in her thoughts that she didn't realize that Steve was looking at her.. She cleared her throat and walked up to the elevator doors..

"Up or down?" Steve asks making Y/N look at his stupid handsome face.

"Can't you figure it out Sherlock?" She's grumpy and she doesn't care.

"What?" Steve questioned.

"Down!"

"Could've just said that.."

"We're on the fuckin--"

"Language!" The infamous 'language', he's being dramatic as hell.

"Fine!We're on the freaking top floor and your asking me if I'm going up or down?"

"I didn't notice."

"You're just stupid.."

The elevator was taking forever, normally it would be up in a minute but she's been standing her for almost five minutes and the elevator is still a no show.

"This is taking forever, I'm going to take the stairs.." She was going to the staircase when the elevator doors opened..

"You're impatient.." Steve mumbles.

"Asshole.." Y/N mumbles back..

And before she knew it, she's pinned to the floor.. It happend so fast, Steve has pinned her down to the floor.. Their face were only inches apart, it made Y/N blush but she somehow hid it..

"Let me go, Steve.."

"Not until you beg for forgiveness.."

"Beg?Didn't know you had a kinky side, old man.."

Steve got flustered by her words, still he didn't let Y/N go.. She started to fight back by getting the upper hand and overpowering Steve.. Now she's on top, she smirks and inch her face closer to Steve's face.

"Dominant, I like that Cap.."

"Although, next time ask for a girls permission before you go and pin her to the floor.."

Without thinking Steve kissed Y/N, her eyes widen but soon she melted to the kiss. It started out soft but it became rough within seconds.. All of the unsaid feelings were mashed into the kiss.. She was out of breath but she didn't want it to stop.. Steve pulled back and smiled sweetly at Y/N, she was confused but she smiled back..

"You like me back?"

"No shit, Sherlock.." Y/N smiled but instead of Steve saying language he smiles back..

"You're so immature.."

They both laugh as Y/N got up and offered her hand to Steve, he gladly accepted..

"Go, you'll be late for your date..Wouldn't want to keep her waiting.." Y/N shooed Steve away but he just stands there..

"You are my date.."

"Well powder me in sugar and call me a donut.. Was all this planned?" Steve nods and Y/N just shakes her head in disappointment, she interlock her arm to Steve's arm.

"Let's go eat some ribs and steaks, Cap.."

On the briefing room with all the remaining Avengers,  they were cheering and celebrating as they watch the two from a surveillance camera.

"Not bad, Cap.." Natasha mumbles as she eats popcorn with Wanda and Bucky.

this post got kinda long i have Many Thoughts on this one

Overall I had fun watching this ep but I could really tell it was rushed and there was so much that got cut, which makes me super sad. our fears about the finale having pacing issues due to all the added scenes & rearranging were confirmed & it rly sucks, but i'll elaborate more on that in a bit.

this week's ep covered the end of chapter 92, chapters 93-97, and included small bits of chapters 98 & 99.

so the ep starts with the ED and the latter part of the tunnel scene with ibuki and louis. i liked the visual effect they used to show that they were in the dark. louis' voice acting was also On Point. for the most part i think this scene was done pretty well but I can tell it's being rushed also. I really wish we got more buildup and narration instead of just jumping straight to ibuki telling louis to shoot him. the way it is in the anime feels less impactful imo.

also im sad we didnt get to see this in the anime

before i move on, i wanna talk a bit about louis and his relationship w/ the shishigumi and ibuki. i feel like in the anime quite a few of the lil moments that really endear you to the shishigumi and also ibuki were either cut or kinda glossed over, which is strange to me considering how much effort and care went into the ED. it's very emotional and good but i feel like maybe anime onlies are missing out only seeing the anime and the MV. but idk.

legosi and riz's fight was quite rushed as well. there's so much narration and dialogue missing from it and that really rubs me the wrong way. It wasn't all bad but compared to the manga I just don't think it's as good. I will say tho that I really liked the sequence w legosi and the moths. I thought it looked really nice and was pretty well done.

also i liked how the backgrounds had some anti-yahya graffiti, its a nice touch imo

I was happy to see legosi do the "tell me more" pose but I'm honestly disappointed that the anime took out the whole exposition about why legosi did it. like i feel like without that it's just legosi being weird when he has a reason for it!!! This is just one example of the anime taking out crucial narration during the fight.

I also think it's kinda weird how they changed how louis shows up at the fight. im not sure how i feel about riz just charging at him like that, but i liked how legosi kicked him before they ran lol.

i dont have much to say about pina's small scene but I did wanna say that during my first watch thru of the ep i was too distracted trying to read the graffiti behind him that i didn't notice him getting his phone out of the dumpster and calling the cops lmao

and now... here we are... the predation scene.

overall i thought it was pretty well done but, like the rest of the ep, i could tell it was also being kinda rushed. some important beats werent given enough time to really sink in, and there's a few bits of narration taken out of this part as well that i find disappointing :^(

tho i did like how the anime called back to this scene in s1 when legosi mentions utilizing his strength.

also this part where louis is remembering ibuki had me like😭

I also really liked seeing louis cry. I was crying too sjdflskjdflsjkdf. i thought that scene was really good, its prolly my favorite part of the ep tbh. getting to hear the whole predation scene voiced made me kind of a mess lol. i really liked louis' expressions throughout this whole ep too. studio orange used their whole louis expression budget on these last 2 eps lmao.

seeing legosi instantly get all beefed up was great too. he looked a little ridiculous but i kinda loved it lol. he's so huge and poofy. i love him.

anyway, im also sad they took out louis' line about being reduced to a flashback character lol. instead he tells legosi "be a hero" again which... im not sure about that change. i liked the part with riz thinking back about tem tho. tho imo the way riz realizes he's in the wrong feels pretty sudden. again adding to how rushed the whole ep feels.

before i move on again i just wanna say legosi looks so cute. even all puffed up and covered in blood. how does he do that

i think one of the things im most disappointed about from this whole ep was how the fight got wrapped up. i really like how the cops show up and totally shift the tone in the manga jslkdfjskljdf. im also really sad we didnt get this interaction

tthe anime really took out most of the sillier moments from the finale, which makes me pretty sad to think about. i know the anime and manga have different tones but pls let the boys be silly sometimes!!

the next part where legosi and louis finally establish their friendship was really cute tho ❤️ even tho it was pretty different i enjoyed it a lot.

the wrap-up for this arc and this episode gave me whiplash sdjlfkjsdf. it literally speedruns thru legosi's predation conviction, being released, louis & haru's graduation, and legosi deciding he's going to drop out of school. that is SO MUCH AT ONCE. also i was holding out hope that legosi would have his new years call with haru after the fight instead but that didnt happen!! so it just got cut!!! kinda mad about that tbh. legosi and haru having a lil scene at the very end made up for it a lil bit but that's still one of haru's few moments in this arc that's just not included.

we didnt even get the part wher legosi learns he can't marry haru bc of his conviction.

ive been really hoping for a season 3 announcement once this season ended. with all the background allusions to yahya, the added plot point of someone stealing elephant tusks, and sebun and melon's lil cameos in this season, it seemed to me that studio orange was kinda teasing a 3rd season. but now, with the dismissive way the anime ended, and paru's note from earlier today, im less sure about the possibility of a 3rd season. i'd still like to see the rest of the series animated, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see if more anime is announced in the future.

if we do get another season in the future i just hope that we swing back around and actually address the things that got completely glossed over in the last couple minutes of this episode instead of charging forward w/o touching them again.

i really think the finale for this arc should've been two episodes at least. not including the tunnel scene. i think then things wouldn't have felt so rushed. people have been saying this season really would have benefitted from at least 1 extra episode and i cant help but agree. some have even suggested a whole 24 episodes just for this arc, but i think that this arc couldve been done properly with 12 or 13 episodes if there was some better prioritizing on what to include and what to cut.

like i dont mind not getting the parts about legosi's family if they can be addressed somehow in a future season (or if theres no more future anime seasons thats a plot thread that doesnt have to be worried about). i could have lived w/o seeing sheila & peach's chapter animated if it meant more time for the focus of this arc. and was the kangaroo red herring really necessary?

adaptation wise, i dont think this season was as good as the first. i still think it did fairly well, but i know that it could have been much better. ive been excited to watch this season with my friends once the dub releases, but now im wondering if i should just tell them to read the manga instead. sighs idk. perhaps it comes thru better as a bingewatch, or perhaps im being a bit too harsh. idk. at some point ill do a rewatch and see how i feel about the season as a whole, but that wont be for a while.

So it looks like this week we might finally find out what happened to Landon when is was in the prison world. At least I'm hoping we do. Because we only have 9 episodes left this season 8 if you don't count this week's episode. If we don't find out soon I think I might lose it. I'm just hoping that whatever happened to him isn't too bad. I know it's going to be bad because he was stuck in a world full of monsters. I just don't want it to be too bad because he's been through so much bad shit in his life already I don't want him to go through more(also because I'm a bit optimistic and hopeful).

That being said I just this post that pissed me off a little. It said Landon is toxic to Hope(again with people just throwing that word around) because he's making her relive her childhood trauma(what? How?) And since he doesn't know how to fight she's always saving him. And how he just stands around when there's a problem going on. Like in 3x11 when that monster attacked he just stood there and Hope had to step in etc.

Okay let's be honest if Landon was really making Hope relive her childhood trauma does anyone honestly think Hope(or anybody else for that matter) would stay with that person. And if that was true Hope would be a complete mess 99% of the time. As for Landon not knowing how to fight, he did try to learn but Hope stopped him when the monsters came back and I wouldn't put it past Hope if she told everyone else not to teach him(I'm not bashing Hope or anything), just so she could keep him out of it. Also on the part about Hope always saving him thing. The last time before this season that she saved him was in 2x06. The rest of the time she was just worrying/trying to keep him out of it even though he want it to help. It also look likes this season Hope is realizing that Landon can handle his own and that she's gotten let him. As for 3x11 Landon was told that no monster could see or touch them while they were there. He was most likely so surprised when it could that he didn't know what to do.

The only thing that makes me more upset then seeing post like that. Is when people say Klaus, Elijah and Hayley didn't die for this. When Hope does something that don't like. When the reason they died in first place was so Hope could live(not so Hope could live the way they want her to).

P.s what do you think happened to Landon in the prison world? Since it looks like he has new powers now.

Yes it looks like we’re definitely gonna find out something, that’s what I’m hoping as well. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes a few more episodes for us to know everything, but I hope we will know all that happened soon! Because yeah, we’re over halfway through the season. They better get going with this, otherwise there won’t be enough time to explore all they’ve been building up to. But ikr, haha, me too! We’ve been waiting for months to find out! I really can’t wait much longer. And same! I’m honestly so done with Landon going through crap. Before he even came to the school, he had been through trauma his entire life, and he’s had even more trauma since! And I’d love for whatever he went through to not be too bad either, but with all the theories that have been going around, there’s not one that wouldn’t be traumatizing for him. And I get that this is tvdu and all the characters are inevitably gonna go through crap. But when it comes to Landon, it’s honestly so constant and extreme, it’s sick. I just hope he’ll be able to somehow recover after all of this.

Ohh, I think I know what post you’re talking about. I had started reading it and saw that as well and was done. Did not want to read anymore of it because that’s absurd. Literally, Landon has not done anything to make her relive any trauma, he’s done all he can to prevent that. I don’t even know what that person is referring to, Hope losing people because she keeps losing Landon? In no way is that Landon’s fault, that’s completely outside of his control. The writers are the ones who keep putting both Hope and Landon through trauma. It’s not because of anything Landon is doing. And Hope is always saving everyone, and she’s not had to save Landon as much as everyone thinks. And saying that Landon just stands around is absolutely not true. That person needs to go back and rewatch the whole show because I can give about a dozen examples of when Landon has done the complete opposite of just stand there. Even without fighting abilities, he’s done all that he can to help since day one with the strengths and abilities that he does have.

But yeah, I can’t see Hope staying in a situation where someone was making her relive her childhood trauma, because you’re right, she would be a mess. And she’s gone through plenty of more trauma while at the school, but Landon is not doing anything to cause that. He’s the one giving her peace and happiness through it all. And exactly! Landon wanted to learn how to fight, but Hope didn’t want to train him. And I could also see her asking everyone not to train him as well, just to make sure he didn’t get more involved in the danger. He never did get anyone else to train him, so who knows.

And yes, there’s this idea that Hope is saving him all the time when she’s really not? Even in season 1, she only really saved him twice, technically. From the headless horseman, and then she saved him (and also everyone else) from Malivore by jumping into the pit. She only saved him maybe a few times in season 2. If you want to count the cyclops that was going towards him in 2x02, the monster that grabbed him in 2x06, and from Pothos a couple times in 2x11 (before Landon was the one to ultimately kill him). And this season, she only saved him from the monster last episode. And I may have missed something, but still, it doesn’t happen as often as everyone says. Yes, she’s mostly just worrying about him, as she would with anyone she loves, because of the danger they’re in all the time. She’s often concerned about saving him but he’s also ended up being okay without her help. And I agree, she’s gradually been realizing what he’s capable of and has been letting him handle himself more. And I think we’re gonna keep seeing more of that.

Yeah, the monster in 3x11 was totally unexpected. It happened so fast and he was shocked and didn’t know what to do. Then Hope immediately jumped in to help, so what? Hope is always doing stuff like that because she’s used to it, that doesn’t mean Landon is always just standing there.

Yep, ugh, I’ve seen people say that too. You’re right, they died so that Hope could survive, regardless of how she might live her life. But according to those people, since Hope has chosen to be with Landon and they don’t like it, that must mean that Klaus, Elijah, and Hayley didn’t die for that? As if they wouldn’t want her to be with someone who makes her happy and to fight for them? I don’t care what people say, Landon is exactly the kind of person they would’ve wanted for Hope. They just wanted her to be happy and safe. And Landon makes Hope happy. And we’ve seen that Landon would do anything in order to protect Hope and keep her safe. He has proven that. So how could they not want that for Hope? The kind of happiness Landon gives Hope is what they wanted Hope to have. And I could go on for a while about Landon and Hope’s family, but that would make this post a whole lot longer than it already is haha. But I really do wonder if the people who say that have actually watched The Originals? Or if they did, they must have not paid attention or clearly missed some of the big points of the show.

And as for Landon in the prison world, I feel like the theory that he somehow split makes the most sense. I don’t know how though, but I feel like we’re seeing part of him right now and the other part of him could be the bone thing. And if he has new powers, like his strength in the trailer for the next episode, I have no clue what’s going on with that. I can see him getting stronger from the prison world, but that strong? I really don’t know. There are a lot of things that could have done something to affect him or cause whatever happened. There’s the artifact, there’s the dark magic in the prison world, whatever might be going on with Malivore, Landon losing his powers and then dissolving in 3x04... something weird definitely happened and I really hope we’ll get all the answers soon!

3-4 characters per headcanon request is the limit. The Haikyuu fandom is the only fandom that works around this, I'll specify how in the Haikyuu specific rules.

Please when you request do characters from the same fandom, if you don't I'm gonna do separate post for each fandom you requested for separately. It would be easier for me if you just sent in multiple asks with the same prompt just with the character's separated by show.

I wanna elaborate on that a little cause I feel like I explained it sorta badly. If you request "Dating HCs with Izuku, Katsuki, Kageyama and Tsukishima" I would make two separate posts, one for the haikyuu characters and one with the my hero characters. I would prefer if you sent in two different asks. "Dating HCs with Izuku and Katsuki" and then "Dating HCs with Kageyama and Tsukishima" I don't mind the spam.

I can do mini text SMAU's. I'm open for you sending in concepts for a SMAU series that I would ofc credit you for. I've been thinking about doing one for a while, but no ideas have hit me.

Please be specific with your requests, I need more than "Fluff with xxx" but like slightly more detail than that is the bare minimum.

I don't care if your request description runs long, I'll work with almost anything, slightly vague or really specific.

I'll take requests where the reader's appearance is the prompt.

I do POC!Readers as well, I enjoying being inclusive.

I'll write for, but won't romanticize mental illness/disorders in readers, like I said I like being inclusive, but keep in mind if I don't have that mental illness it'll take longer for the request to get done because I want to educate myself on it. If I feel like I won't be able to capture it well I may deny the request.

I'll do platonic and familial x readers, but DEFINITELY no incest

The only triggering/sensitive topics I won't do is s**cide and s*lf harm. But some topics I might feel uncomfortable doing, no hard feelings if I deny the request because of it.

I'll never do teacher x student.

I won't do character x character, or character x oc

But I love hearing about your OCs!!!! The only reason I won't write for them is because I don't think I'll have a good understanding of their character. But if theres a scenario you relate to your OC that I can manage to put into reader insert form I'll do it! I don't care how specific the scenario is!

I offer a shit ton of loopholes to combat me not doing character x oc stuff! And I encourage you to find some that I don't specify here in the rules.

I'll do song requests... If I like the song. I'm really not picky with my music, though (My playlist is 20+ hours long and the only way you can achieve that is with not being picky with music)

It's totally okay to ask for a prompt I've already done but with different characters.

I do emergency requests when I feel like I can get a piece done within a week. I can be a fast writer when I want to be.

School can and will hit me like a truck sometimes, if you're request ain't done fast I'm probably underneath a mountain of schoolwork, please have patience. If you rush me I might just delete your request.

Treat me with respect. Its the barest minimum.

I don't do matchups unless its some sort of special occasion.

I write for all genders but fem and GN the best, male isn't completely off the table, though.

I don't do yandere themes.

I don't do poly requests simply because I feel like I wouldn't be good at it.

I am very biased. There's a 90% chance that if you compliment me in your request I'll get it done quicker I'm not gonna lie to you.

I'm a really lenient person and if your request doesn't obviously go against these rules there's a 9/10 chance I'll do it.

My hero academia rules.

I write for almost all the characters except for Mineta and the extra boys in 1A that get like a line per season (Sero is NOT included when I say that, he is a king who I will write for). I don't write for Overhaul, Endeavor or any characters only introduced in the manga, either though.

I write for the girls and women of My Hero.

Quirk specific requests are a-ok (Another loophole around me not doing character x oc)

But when you do request something revolving around the reader's quirk please provide a thorough explanation of it.

I refuse to accept Katsuki's hero name as Dynamight so yeah we still call him ground zero on this blog 😐

I'll age the 1A boys up to the point where they're pro heroes if the prompt calls for it, but not for nasty reasons.

I know the my hero fandom is so much more than just toxic but it does exist, so please don't bring any stuff onto this blog, this isn't even a "request rule" per se. I'm never up to date with fandom drama like that and I'm not very interested in it 99% of the time.

Haikyuu request rules

When I said that haikyuu didn't follow the 3-4 character rule limit, I meant that sometimes I do writing that includes the entire team.

Its usually short little headcanons, though. Nothing too full fledged and they might not even be reader inserts.

I write for almost all teams and characters that have been introduced thoroughly. The only characters that are pretty popular that I don't write for are: Makki, Ennoshita, Terushima, Hoshiumi, and Kinoshita.

All other characters are pretty much on the table.

I believe in pretty setter supremacy.

Although I don't read the manga, I know what all the Haikyuu boys' occupations are post-timeskip so feel free to request something pertaining to that.

I can't think of anything else so that's it for haikyuu specific rules.

Bungou Stray Dogs rules.

I'm trying to catch up on the manga, but as of right now I do not write manga-only characters.

I don't write for Fyodor, either but other than him I don't think I have a problem with any other characters. I don't enjoy writing for The Guild (with an exception being Poe) but they are still on the table

The only time I would feel comfortable writing about the triggering topics I said I wasn't gonna do is when it comes to Dazai, its his main personality trait so its unavoidable lmao.

I'll do requests that have the reader with a specific ability!! (One of the loopholes of me not writing for OCs)

But please provide a good explanation of the ability.

Been a while.

Since I felt this way. Anger and resentment. It's been a very bad day. Didn't feel good to start and then moving bullshit Revelations. Like jeez when it runs.

So my aunt is a drug addict. And has completely lost her shit this last year. In May she nearly od' on pills that weren't the right meds. She came and stayed with us for five weeks and then when home. Didn't do much good. Now, last week or two she was commented to a 72 hours hold. Then when she got out has been raising hell and disappearing with her drug buddy's.

My family seems to think that she just needs to be removed from her drug friends and the situation and she'll get better.

Now somehow my Nana has decided that she needs to move in with my other aunt or I do. Neither of which is gonna happen. (Sorry but my aunt's house is not livable for me.) And both of us are allergic to cats and she has had cats In that house for years. So no.

The. Couple hours ago my mom calls me out of the blue.

I asked how she got the number. Nana gave it to her. Why would she do that. Cause I asked for it, did you not want me to have it. If I wanted you to have it I would have given it to you. She goes oh and hangs up. No explanation or anything.

I have been having typical signs of anxiety since. Heart rate breathing racing thoughts. All that. Yay. And since I'm not at home where I can make plans I can't make it stop.

So just a while ago my Nana texts me that my mom just wanted to give me see yarn.

Which is in response to a post I did on Facebook.

And that she wouldn't use my number again. I told her she could've asked first that she hung up before I could say anything else. I told her that half the problem is the lack of chance to express my own feeling or displeasure about anything.

(and this is a very big thing feel me. In all aspects of my life. And with 99 percentage of the people in my life)

She states. When you cop attitude what else was she supposed to do. Her feelings were deeply hurt.

I told her mine have been hurt for a decade. No attitude involved. Sorry if the truth hurts but I didn't give it to her and she didn't ask me. Plus she could have messaged me on Facebook which she barely does.

Then Nana just blows it off. (They just walked in.)

I haven't had this much agitation about my mother and our situation in a long time. And since my birthday this year it came back 10fold. I turned 30. It's a big deal for me. I didn't think I'd see 30. (Or 11 or 18 or more for that matter) thanks in no small part to my mom and her choice in men. Four or more including my father. ( I really need to write a book. ) The last of which started when I was 17. It's a long story Sirius I need to write a book. But when she turned 50 last year I was there and I was there for 51. Got her a gift and a card. We went to dinner and hung out. I was even the one to pay for the room and stuff for my aunt her twin and I to go see her this year.

She Facebook wished me a Happy bday. That was it. I spent the weekend of my bday with my aunt her twin in the city for free comic book day and doing what I wanted. (Spent months planning and saving and the like.) Had a good time.

Then my grandparents brought my aunt home for five weeks. So we never got to celebrate. But that's ok. Mostly.

But my mother didn't do anything beyond posting on my Facebook page.

So you may understand a little of my recent feelings on the matter. I wish I had a in person therapist to talk to because. I can't say anything to anyone.

We had to evacuate for Florence. And the roads are so bad we can't get home.

So I only worked two days last week before the store closed. I may not be working this week at all. So I'm gonna be short of money next month.

I've been working really hard to get to my goals this year. And I may have to dip into my savings. No. Already had to use my credit card for like 200$. Yay. No.
