It‘s a cold winter evening in Hawkins, Indiana. One of the coldest you‘ve experienced so far. Normally you don’t have a problem with the cold because you’re all cuddled up in your bedroom, millions of pillows surrounding you together with blankets and your heater turned on until you‘re sweating. Unfortunately that isn’t the place you’re in right now.

Right now you‘re settled on your best friends sofa, in his cold trailer, in the middle of the night. The air is filled with music and the smell of weed coming from the joint that Eddie smoked earlier that evening.

Normally this would be your favorite place to be in, like normally, but right now you regret that the two of you didn’t meet at your place. The temperature is way below zero and it feels like the trailer is freezing from the inside.

"Eddie it‘s too cold! My feet will fall off any minute" You whine out loud as you look up from where you’re lying right now, Eddie in front of you. He looks at you with a raised brow and the, usual smug grin, on his lips "Well that means it won’t smell like cheese in here ever again" he teases but you‘re not having it right now. Normally his stupid jokes would make you all giggly and cause you to blush but right now, you could slap him for any kind of stupid comment.

"Edward." You warn, glaring over to him and he lifts his hands up in the air, showing you that he doesn’t want to start a fight. He never would do that, the fear of losing you because of his cockiness is way too big.

The TV in the background fills the silence which lingers in the air, some horror movie you‘ve rented from FamilyVideo earlier still playing on the screen as you whine again.

Eddie shifts a bit, putting some pressure on his elbows to sit up and look at you "You know…I’ve heard that you should put your feets up if they are cold. For blood circulation, y‘know?".

The only answer he gets from you is another long, high-pitched whine as you shake your head dramatically, causing your best friend to let a soft sigh escape his lips, followed by a chuckle. A sound that makes you shiver all the time. He leans up further to get a better look at you, now resting on his hands as he kind of kneels in front of you. The position he‘s in gives you perfect access to see his tummy and happy trail when suddenly an idea pops up in your mind.

An evil idea.

He‘s about to grab your feet with one hand when you suddenly shove them under the fabric of his sweater, grinning at him when he gasps loudly. He definitely wasn’t prepared for the sudden contact of your cold skin against his burning hot skin.

"Y/n wtf!? Are you crazy!?" He yells out as he tries to shift away from you but when you lock your feet behind his back it‘s impossible for him to move anywhere but closer to you. That’s how he ends up leaning forward so that he’s fully kneeling in between your legs, slightly hovering above you, causing him to hold himself up with one hand.

"That‘s way better! Thank you Ed‘s" you simply give him an innocent smile, acting like he‘s not just a few centimeters away from your lips, acting like you can’t feel his hot breath against your skin and not hearing his heartbeat going a thousand miles per hour. The way your feet keep him in place, doesn’t make it easier for him too. Eddie‘s heart feels like it’s about to explode.

Of course he‘s been close to you before, you’ve cuddled a million of times by now, also shared a few soft kisses on the head of cheek sometimes, but being in between your legs while feeling your cold skin, makes him feel dizzy in so many ways. His body is covered in goosebumps and when tries to look at you properly, he just see‘s a sleepy Y/n beneath him. Eyes closed and hands touching his arm carefully. All the naughty thoughts Eddie had a few seconds ago are definitely gone now.

He‘s looking at you in pure awe. The way you feel so safe and comfortable with him, that you almost fall asleep under him, just because of his body temperature makes him feel special in so many ways. It‘s been almost 3 years and the poor boy still doesn’t know what he did to deserve an angel like you. Someone so amazing and adorable.

"I‘ll warm you up, don’t worry Sweetheart." He whispers against your skin when he slowly tries to get comfortable on top of you. Your hand finds it’s way into the messy curls of his faster than he expected, smiling into your well his shirt when he hears your soft snores above him. Next time you’re cold, he‘s definitely gonna warm you up again, doesn’t matter how ;)

Okay so do y’all rmb that 6ft tall guy I was talking to & said I MIGHT be in love w? Yeah so erm… He was wayyy to lusty for me, so much so that when we talked and he’d say how much he liked me— it just felt weird because it was like “wtf do you like about me aside from the fact that I’m nice & know how to dirty talk??”

And I thought it was ironic that he was too lusty for me even tho I write literal smut in my free time but y’all I’m not even exaggerating when I say nearly every convo w tht man was about sex. And if it wasn’t about sex then it was just about something pertaining to him in general.

Anything he knew about me was info I had to just throw out there to him yk? It was like he never really asked me anything about myself unless it was something sexual. Which irked my nerves so badly because, again, wth did he like about me? The guy didn’t even know my favorite color like ??

But in the beginning I was pretty blindsided by how good the conversations were and I was just happy to receive attention in all honesty.

Anywho tho, I told my bsf about the guy & he was telling me to stop talking to him because it’s going no where, or at least tell him that I want him to start asking things about me but uh…

I’m not that kinda person y’all. I dont want to have to tell someone to be curious about me if they claim to be interested in me. It was so apparent that he was only interested in the way I gave him a listening ear on his struggles & the way I engaged in sexual convos.

So, although I felt like shit for a while because I didn’t wanna be like his other exes tht just up & left him for no reason, I eventually told him I just couldn’t talk to him romantically anymore. NOW, this was damn there the icing on the cake.

While he was really mature about it ending & basically said he understood and wasn’t going to push me about staying or anything, y’all… he didn’t even ask why I wanted things to end. I wasn’t exactly looking for him to ask why but dude, if u claimed to like me as much as you did & were oh so infatuated with me, shouldn’t you wanna know why I suddenly wanna break things off w you??? 😐

Anyway, that ended & we decided to just stay friends. Our convos got shorter and shorter & nowadays he & I both moved on.

So rmb guy1 right? & how he didn’t even know my fav color? I told guy2 about that and he immediately asked abt it. I KNOW that’s smth so small but pls, it was so sweet…. is the bar in hell? Idk, I swear I have standards 🙏

We even had a whole convo abt colors & it was just super cute! >< Another time, I vented and told him how guy1 didn’t rlly put in any effort to get to know me but claimed to like me and guy2 went out of his way to say how he wants to know everything about me

When I tell y’all his confession was like smth out of a damn fanfic. YALLLLLL. And it’s funny bc MLN is actually based on events tht’s happened in my life soo…

Anywho, guy2 is amazing and ilhsm. He’s so sweet and silly, I wanna eat him yall ☹️

Honestly, Gotchard has yet to disappoint me in any way. I haven't loved a season this much in years. It's consistently good in a way that I haven't seen since freakin' Build.

Rinne was so cute in this episode. The lil dino roar, so cute! And yeah, her immediate defense of Lachesis (even though she has every reason to mistrust her) was everything o((>ω< ))o

Lachesis/Kyoka nation definitely lost their shit with the takoyaki scene. What a scene to get this holy month of pride

As for Houtaro being a teen dad... I wonder if Toei took a peek at my OC Ise because wth were with the similarities (dragon baby hatching out of egg, related to a transformation trinket for the main rider) 😂 Did someone send my fanfics to Toei without me knowing?!

Kidding aside, Houtaro being a single teen dad to a dragon baby... absolutely flabbergasted everyone. Even Tsukasa was speechless 🤣 Emu may or may not have fainted. Touma of course gave Houtaro all the tips he learned raising Ise, though it's not really that helpful since Nijigon is a god-tier level Chemmy- he doesn't need the same kind of care Ise does.

Well, I guess Houtaro has help in spades, with the other alchemists + the Chemmies. Hopper-1 in particular seems to be highly regarded by Nijigon as his senpai, which hopefully means Hopper-1 gets to mentor him more (as long as it doesn't involve alcohol. He's a baby Hopper, don't make him drink Kahlua milk)

Now, we don't have a clear idea of what Lucas is like post time-skip, if he's still the same gentle cry baby as he was before, in the prologue. But you gotta understand that going on a journey like that has got to change a person. He's def a lot more brave than the fandom, AND FUCKING SMASH BROS BRAWL !!! gives him credit for.

Old fanfics will usually give him t-th-he unre-re-alistic s-s-s-s-stuttering habit, which is sssssoooooooooo hard to read sometimes. I understand stuttering as something someone can have naturally, but in this context, it's something he does because he's nervous or scared or flustered. And he does it almost every time he talks until he finally warms up enough, or he's in a perpetual state of flustered. I'd understand if this was an actual speech thing he had that the author brings up, but no, you can tell that the intention is just to make him look more, ... Im not sure the right word, but more Shoujo shy girl like. Y'know?

Mischaracterization can't really be a thing with Mother protags and other silent protagonist. There can be opinions on characters I can either like or dislike, but that doesn't rule out the possibility that the character is "actually" like that. For Ness and Ninten, no one is really right or wrong... Characterizing them as assholes (COUGH mother 1 novel with Ninten/Ken) or as shy or, well, most of the time people just write Ness as a heroic extrovert and/or complete dumbass which personally is the correct way to me.

But in Mother 3, we get more character from Lucas than we do with any other mother protag, in that he's a gentle boy who likes flowers, and the village sees him as a crybaby, even before Hinawa died. (That one lady Flint talks to during the forest fire, before they knew Hinawa died, called Lucas a crybaby)

But fuck dude, even before the time-skip happened, Lucas came in clutch with the drago to save Salsa and Kuma from Fassad!!! You go, baby Lucas! wth!!!!
