who is your favourite character in record of ragnarok and twisted wonderland? And what do you think would be their type? Any headcanons you have that you usually don't see others write but you wish there was more?

Hello there, Anon! I love the questions you had asked me, and it took me a while to figure them all out, but I wrote them down as I thought, so they may be a but lengthy. Anyways, I hope I answered your questions good!

Okay, so I have quite a few favorites within both fandoms, so I'll seperate them based on species/dorm!

Twisted Wonderland

Heartslabyul: Riddle Rosehearts ~ His character is super adorable with how his face gets red when he gets mad, and I find his constant need to follow the rules funny. It's not like the Queen of Hearts is gonna kill you, she's basically dead anyways! Savanaclaw: Jack Howl ~ He's just adorable, and he reminds me of my male best friend because he's quite defensive about his reputation, but with people he cares about, he's awesome! Octavinelle: Azul Ashengrotto ~ Azul is one of my favorite characters in general because of how smart, yet sensitive he can be. Like when he had overblotted because of MC and the others tearing up his contracts he worked hard on, it's understandable and relatable. Also, his fear of his weight makes me pity him as a chubby person myself, but I love the way he gains confidence! Scarabia: Jamil Viper ~ Jafar is one of my favorite characters in the whole Disney canon, so having Jamil as one of my favorites shouldn't be surprising. I love his design and I absolutely love his journey, he's good at cooking and he's amazingly loyal to his family and friends, he's husband material. Pomefiore: Rook Hunt ~ I love Vil, but Rook's character overall is so much fun to read and write for. I love his design to freaking much, like his hat, so cute, the fact that he came from Savanaclaw to Pomefiore, very unique and cool, I also adore his frenchness, it shows relation to the film's original location and written place. Ignihyde: Ortho & Idia ~ I couldn't choose between the two of them, their dynamic together is so fucking cute, like I can't. I also love introverts, I find them adorable, and having a very extroverted sibling just makes it extra cute!! Diasomnia: ALL FOUR ~ Like with the previous duo, I cannot choose between all three. I love Malleus, he's a very fun character, and with how oblivious and willing to learn he is, he's awesome. Lilia is just great, he's an amazing father to both Silver and Malleus, and the way he looks after Sebek like his own, cute!! Silver and Sebek are similar, adorable children that we must protect. Staff: Divus Crewel ~ All I have to say is: Monochrome King RSA: Che'nya ~ Personally, I love the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland (1951), he's just an amazing example of an anti-hero, and the way he teases Riddle and Trey just for laughs is super cute and shows how much he truly cares for the two as his friends.

Record of Ragnarok

Abrahamic Pantheon: Beelzebub ~ I prefer him over a lot of different Gods, so much so he's in my top 10 favorite characters throughout the whole fandom. But, I love how careful he is, he seems to care about others enough to where he tries protecting them from distancing himself, but that's also a flaw, otherwise, he's just a decent person in general, despite wanting Humanity's end. Buddhism Pantheon: Buddha ~ He's just so much fun. He loves to mess around and tease others, which is something I love to do, which kinda draws people towards me (I'm an unfortunate people-magnet), and I also love how he's so laid-back, you gotta love those chill peeps. Hindu Pantheon: Shiva ~ I love his love of the art-form dance. Dance is something that has a bunch of different forms, and the way that he just takes that passion and made it his own unique thing was inspiring! Greek Pantheon: Heracles / Apollo / Hades ~ I love all three of these guys, so it was hard to decide between them. Hades is a family man and cares for his brothers no matter what, Apollo is a decent person and doesn't judge for looks, but by personality, and Heracles is just an amazing example of the word 'hero'. Norse Pantheon: Thor ~ I just love his character in general, he seems to value his family and title, he even showed sympathy to killing Lü Bu, and I found that to be an amazing addition to showing the humanity in the Gods. I also adore his design, red is one of my favorite colors behind blue and black, so having long red hair? Yes. Human Fighters: ALL ~ No competition, they all rule. Lü Bu shows care for his army, Adam loves his 'children' despite their wrongdoings, Sasaki has a strong will of never giving up despite challenges, Jack will do seemingly anything to protect those he cares for, even if they don't care for him back, Raiden's care for Thrud was so heartwarming, he warned her to stop the Völundr to save her life, and (technically) Zerofuku, he's just a baby that was let down the wrong path, he needs guidance, and I believe that if he had the right teacher, his life would've been way better. Valkyries: Göll ~ She's just so god-foresakenly cute!! I feel like my heart's gonna explode everytime she looks concerned for both Humanity and the Gods fighting, she's so much more human with her emotions than other characters, it's amazing.

Their types all vary, but I'll probably make a list on each dorm/pantheon and their types later on because this is starting to get very lengthy and my hands are cramping badly, so to keep my hands in tact and this post short-er, I'll answer your final question.

I believe there should be more Male! Readers, as there are mostly either Female or Gender Neutral. Like males can read the GN, but like, pretty much all the Male! Readers I find are NSFW and not SFW. I believe there should be more of those, but like I said, GN does work relatively well.

I chose to take Silver’s hand at the start of the game! Part of it was I liked his design/description, but I also picked him because he kind of looked like Riku from Kingdom Hearts. I think even if I restarted the game that I would still take his hand because even though he’s not my favorite character of the twst cast (he’s rank two…rank one belongs to Vil) I absolutely adore his personality and backstory. He’s so kind to everyone and is constantly looking out for others.

My favorite book has to be Book 5! I’m not sure if that’s a crazy pick or not, but I think Book 5 is the perfect blend of everything you could ever want in twst. Book 5 gives you boy band shenanigans, the start of several characters’ growth arcs (Epel, Deuce, and Kalim, all have great moments in this book), some dark elements, and an Overblot that’s not just from anger/revenge. Vil recognizes how he almost became what he hated being typecast for, then is horrified with how ugly he acted and he can’t forgive himself for trying to take the short road to his goal of being the fairest one of all when he talks about working hard for what you want.

Not to mention we get Neige and we also get songs!! Absolutely Beautiful is an absolute bop! Of course Everybody Yahoo is super cute too and I’m so sad it was cut from the English version of the game.

“3. Who is your favorite House Warden?”

You know, I’m going with the Red King himself, Riddle Rosehearts. I had to really think about this one because I like most of them, and I was torn between a couple of them lol, but I’m going with Riddle.

While he does have anger management issues and, let’s be honest, pulled a lot of unnecessary and messed up shit in Book 1, he’s a guy that sticks to his guns and prides himself on his discipline and knowledge, both of which he gained through hardwork. He also - post overblot - sees potential in others, especially his underclassmen like Epel and Deuce and looks out for them. Also post overblot, Riddle makes an effort to be more understanding and less of a hardass (he still is but that’s just part of his character lol) He also doesn’t back down from a challenge. For all that, I admire him a lot. Well done, king 🤌✨

“5. Who are your Top 5 favorite and/or comfort characters?”

Lilia, Jade, Jamil, Malleus, and Ortho

Lilia: before Book 7, Lilia was a quirky lil Bat Dad sir that was in no way a teenager but I didn’t care cuz he’s a lot of fun and loves his boys lol….after Book 7, everything I just said plus lots and lots of tears and feelings 😂

Jade: I love both of the twins but Jade especially holds a special place in my heart. I would never want to be his enemy or target lol, but outside of that, I love Jade. What a heckin’ hyper focused nerd. What an absolute force of nature when it comes to holding Octavinelle together yes Azul does a lot too I would go on a hike and take nature pictures and identify mushrooms in a heartbeat lol. Also I read one of his dialogues where he greets you on your birthday and he got you a bougie tea set or something of that nature - sold 😂

Jamil: I love me a good ol’ snek boi what can I say? But no, Jamil is definitely one of the coolest and most relatable characters in the game in my book. He grew up desiring something for just himself, wanting more out of life, but he wanted more on his terms, earned in his own way - not just handed to him. Respect. Jamil is cool as hell, bless him. Plus he is the sassiest boi when he lets loose and it’s hilarious 😂

Malleus: oh Malleus. He’s become one of my favorites and one of my comfort characters simply because I can relate to him in some ways. Some not all. Definitely did not grow up in royalty or even a rich family, but I definitely was an “odd” one that didn’t always connect with my peers or even know how to a lot of the time. I was a latch key kid growing up so I also spent a lot of time alone. On a much more superficial level, I too love gargoyles and grotesques and I collect them lol. I too greatly appreciate quiet, underpopulated places. For Malleus, it’s ruins or abandoned places. For me, it’s libraries, my apartment, or mostly empty movie theaters 😂

Ortho: Ortho is an interesting lil dude who always makes me smile. Or laugh when he immediately jumps to the “blow it up with a laser cannon” option lolol. I like steampunk or technology based characters/designs/aesthetics so that also plays into my love for Ortho. Also as a younger sibling myself, his love and admiration for his big brother hits home ngl. Ortho just has a youthfulness and impish charm about his character that I like a lot. It’s refreshing ✨

1: first favorite character

my first favourite was Jade (closely followed by Trey). Jade is the one I was instantly drawn to, the one whose hand I took, and has remained one of my favourites to this day ^v^

9: favorite duo

my favourite duo... that's a good question! there are so many duos I absolutely LOVE, so this is hard! I will say that the Science Club duo is always fun (Trey and Rook), and Azul and Jamil are also a fantastically fun pair

5: favorite design

the character whose design I like the most is likely Azul. everything from his beauty mark, to his glasses, to his hair curl, to the way he wears his various uniforms, to all his other outfits (Camp Vargas?? Beanfest?? GLORIOUS MASQUERADE???), to his overblot form, to just his general style and shape is basically perfect. he's a beautifully designed character!!

14: a character you’d want as a sibling

I wouldn't say I'd want him as a sibling, but the character that has the most sibling energy to me is Ace. he has SUCH STRONG little brother energy it's almost painful

however, I would say that I'd probably want to have Cater as a sibling. he'd be fun, help me get out of my comfort zone a bit, and just be an interesting person to have around (also, I'd be a WAY better big sibling than his actual older siblings >:/ he needs someone in his corner)

Who is your favourite overblot from twisted wonderland and why? What do you look forward to writing about them if you get the chance?

Hmmmm, among the released ones, I’d say Leona because I find those limbs dripping in blot hot simply because his design is the most appealing in my eyes (very closely followed by Azul’s). Getting spicy past here because thinking of overblot does that to me:

I find the way his hair’s styled here beautiful too.

There’s something so forbiddingly dominating 🥵 about this Leona, as opposed to the usual insociant Leona that just gets me. I think he feels very “trounced warrior prince out to kill them all” and I like that grim determination to his design.

I’ve already written what I wanted to write most about OB Leona, albeit briefly, in his NSFW headcanons I penned last year, for a friend ♥ Would I still be up for writing more OB Leona? Absolutely, any of the OB boys are a treat I’d gladly suck on!

For the yet unreleased ones, however, and for a more character centric answer, I’m looking forward to Malleus’ overblot. I know folks in the fandom theorize the cause for his overblotting (anything involving Yuu) every now and then and I hope it is just as painful, and wrecks us, as many are anticipating 🥰

And if I were to ever write OB Malleus, I’d like it to be hot and hurting [favorite flavor], perhaps dark too, since they do seem to lose their moral compass when they overblot. I think OB Malleus would still acknowledge Yuu as his most important person in his mind, were they to venture close and try call him back to them, but that’s about it. This person is his and dragons would do anything to hoard and protect what is theirs, and theirs alone. He would handle Yuu as gently as they deserve (can’t convince me there isn’t worship involved even in his thorough, animalistic fucking 😇) but they would stay close to his person. At all times.

I’m not sure if I will have the chance to, but I do have a Malleus/Yuu/Leona poly long fic I’m tentatively working on, and would like to explore Malleus’ inhuman, darker aspects in that one, including but not limited to his overblot!

Hello Geo-san, just read your post on Malleus's birthday. It says that his only relative is his grandmother and she still rules the Valley of Thorns. There are theories that his grandmother is none other than Maleficent herself. If that's the case, there are two options here, either she survived her encounter with Prince Phillip or the TW timeline is following the 2014 film. Where she's still alive and ruling the Moors, maybe renamed as the Valley, alongside with Aurora. We'll just wait and see.

I've actually been thinking about this myself, that was much of a shoking reveal!

Aside from revealing the fact that Malleus's parents are dead, this somehow dropped a bomb on "Maleficent being Malleus's grandmother theory"

The main discussion going over the fandom regarding the topic is whether his grandmother is Maleficent or not, which is a really important question!

As someone who strongly supported this theory before this reveal, I can't say I wouldn't be disappointed if Maleficent isn't actually his grandmother, but on the other hand, the possibility of her being Maleficent and still alive would face some strong contradictions in the story:

First off, let's flash back to where this theory begun in the first place:

In Malleus's personal chats, we can find Sebek complimenting Malleus's performance after the classes, telling him that he'd even surpass the witch of thorns herself one day!

Malleus immediately objects to it, saying his powers barely come close to his grandmother's.

Well, to think that they were actually talking about Maleficent but all of a sudden Malleus mentioned his grandmother instead, left us qith a great possibility of him being Maleficent's grandson, to the point that many, including me, considered this theory as canon! But now I highly doubt this theory, even though I wanted it to be confirmed true so much. But since we have more information to seriously discuss the matter right now, here are my thoughts whether this theory is still acceptable or not, which is mainly explaining what would happen if they're actually using the 2014 and 2019 live action movies as a reference:

1) Maleficent being alive would totally WRECK Silver's character development and design!

Come to think of it, there would be no Silver if Maleficent is still alive! Silver's twisted logo is the sword, and the one and only famous sword in the sleeping beauty classic AND the live action movie is the one which slayed Maleficent.

So... If Maleficent's still alive -> There hasn't ever been a sword which slayed her -> Silver doesn't have any special or specific symbol/ character which he is twisted from!

While his name might have something to do with the live action version, where they strongly used Silver to defeat Maleficent, it can also be referring to the fact that dark fairies would immediately be wounded if touched with Silver, which is most likely because of Yana's studies in the fae mythology field (Like how she chose ice cream as Malleus's favorite food since fairies love cream) which isn't necessarily bound to the live action version. But since the sword is Silver's most important role in the game, we can't really stick with the live action version because not only didn't we have any special swords in the live action version, but there also would be a big confusion if there hasn't ever been a sword which slayed Maleficent and Silver is twisted from!

In summary, I'd be honest and say this out loud: Maleficent HAS TO be dead because we need the Silver sword to exist somewhere in the story!!!

2) History of 'Classic Maleficent' vs 'Live action Maleficent'

one of the main points which needs to be considered in this matter, is how different Classic Maleficent and Live action Maleficent are. Maleficent is the very first Disney live action to present a totally different face of a well-known Disney villain such as Maleficent, which also led to a considerable growth in both "Maleficent" and the classic version of "sleeping beauty"'s popularity at the same time! But while 2014's Maleficent was an absolutely amazing movie (to at least) and nearly turned Maleficent into the most beloved villain of Disney's history, the live action (especially the 2019 version) received some strict critiques regarding how they pictured Maleficent: Many of the fans were familiar and attached to the original Maleficent, the mistress of all evil who had control over the powers of hell itself. A REAL villain and an absolutely perfect one. But the live action Maleficent wasn't meant to be a villain, the live action narrated a totally different story from what the classic was.

Though it didn't really lessen the movie's popularity, there were fans who begun to dislike this version of Maleficent after the 2019 version and their reason for disliking the movie actually made sense, the live action went TOO FAR with creating a second Maleficent, almost to the point of not being anything similar to the original, that strong villainous sense they were expecting to see in Maleficent had disappeared.

Now let's talk about twst, what is twst about? Villains. It's basically the world of villains. We need that evil, menacing and demonic sense of villains to be brought back to life through this twisted vessels, as it's confirmed that this school's students have villainous souls. From the Heartslabyul chapter till now, the Pomefiore chapter, his is all we've dealt with: Absolute villains. Each chapter is about a dorm leader (expect for Kalim) discovering and revealing their villainous spirits, which leads to an overblot. They want them to see just as evil and reckless as the original villains, which is why they put them into a mode such as overblot, where they're controlled by a puppet in the shape of one of the great seven.

Is such a story, where they need to make each of the main characters be as evil as possible, choosing live action Maleficent (who is a half villain, half hero character) not only is debatable but ia also a big contract to the previous chapters as they all followed the original villains' stories!

I guess we can all agree that Diasomnia's quite special compared to the rest of the dorms, but going as far as using a different source in character development and plot design compared to the rest of the characters and dorms seems to be a bit too much- I don't think Diasomnia's design and development is planned to be THAT different.

3) Key points about fhat has been officially mentioned in twst

Personal chats are VERY important to go through while doing a character analysis, they're such a wealthy and perfect source of information regarding each and every of the characters!

As for Diasomnia, each and every of the members mentioned something about the witch of thorns and her background, which directly leads us to how and who is the twst's Maleficent:

Lilia: Explains how Maleficent's Chronicles spent 16 years looking for a baby in a cradle -> This only happened in the classic! Live action Maleficent never sent any of her minions to look after aurora as she never had any!

Silver: Explains how the King of a well-known kingdom forgot to invite Maleficent and offended her with this, he wonders what kind of King would ever do such a disrespectful thing? -> Original Maleficent was offended and mad just because she wasn't invited, while the Live action Maleficent was betrayed by the King Stephan, Aurora's father who intentionally refused to invite Maleficent. Keep this in mind that Silver said forgetting to invite her, which is exactly what happened in the classic and King and Queen seriously forgot to invite Maleficent, not to intentionally avoid and decide to keep her away from baby Aurora like what happened in the live action.

Malleus: In his chats with Lilia, he mentions how The witch of thorns once invited the prince of as enemy Kingdom into her own castle -> This is again, something which only happened in the classic, referring to the scene where Maleficent captured prince Philip and imprisoned him inside her castle. Live action Maleficent didn't even have a castle to begin with, note that all she did was to take Phillip to Stephan's castle to give Aurora a chance to live.

Malleus: He explains how The Witch of thorns could turn into a dragon -> Live action Maleficent never turned into a dragon, she just once turned her crow, diaval, into a dragon (2014 ver.) and turned into a phoenix (2019 ver.). The only Maleficent which could and did transform into a dragon is the one we know from the sleeping beauty classic.

Hitting with the lighting: This is something Malleus is capable of doing, he both did this to Sebek back in the manga anthology and threatened Rook with it -> Again, this is something which the original Maleficent and herself only could do.

There are quite a few of other orginal Maleficent references you can find if you carefully go through the story and voice lines, but I'm not going to mention each and every of them because I believe I've already discussed this enough. Note that while there are tens of original Maleficent references in the story, there hasn't been anything mentioned about the live action Malleus so far expect for fan content and stuff.

Obviously, they're using Original Maleficent as the main reference. The question is whether they're using the live action too as a reference or not.

4) A summary + Existing debates

Aside from all of the current theories and headcanons, I guess this is all we can tell about the canon information revealed so far. But before we end, I'd like to add a few of small notes:

Lilia has never referred to the Witch of thorns as Queen of thorns, it's not quite specific to tell but it seems like Queen of thorns and Witch of thorns are indeed to different people.

But then again, why does Malleus bring his grandmother up in the middle of a discussion about Witch of thorns? Could it be that he just used her mother as an example since her too, is a very powerful magician but not exactly the witch of thorns herself, or...??

There hasn't been any information revealed regarding the great seven's current position in twisted wonderland's history, how long ago has their stories taken place? Could it be that some of them are still alive? Did their stories end just the same as orginal stories or did they decide to twist the endings as well?

The main reason why I think Maleficent cannot be alive now is not becuase she died in the original story, it's becuase of Silver, which has already been explained in part (1)!

At last, I'd like to add a final note to this piece: Even if the "Grandmother Maleficent" theory turns out to be wrong, many of the fans are already enjoying the eixisting fanon twst content which are using the live action as a reference! The most popular reference is probably with Malleus's back, where many artists decide to add two wounds on as a reference to what happened to Maleficent's wings in the live action. This is personally one of my FAVORITES and I just love it when artists draw the wounds, though the possibility of Malleus actually having wings is pretty low! We can almost call it impossible lol. The thing is, from how the story has gone so far we can assume that they aren't going to use the live action at all, but if they do, that'll be quite amazing and interesting to discuss!!

1. You just woke up in a coffin trapped with this talking rat thing that swears he isn’t a tanuki. How do you actually react?

✦ Well that entirely depends on whether I’m aware of the fact I’m in a game or not. If I retain my knowledge of twst then I follow the game path (and accept that I have to live with the talking rat from now on). If this is all completely new to me then I would most likely go with the flow, I’d realise that something completely unnatural has happened and try to adapt to the situation. I’d also interrogate the talking rat thing and try to find out more information

2. Let’s pretend for a second that you’re not at the mercy of a magic mirror and incompetent bird dad, choose which dorm you would like to be a part of. Why, and do you think the mirror would agree?

✦ This is hard… I would choose to be part of Octavinelle, I mean… the visual design of the dorm rocks. Plus they do well in tests, so I could persuade my dormmates to tutor me. The mirror probably wouldn’t agree with me. I’ve taken a couple ‘What Twisted Wonderland dorm are you?’ type quizzes, and I usually get put in Heartslabyul. Maybe I should send someone a dorm sorting request and see what happens?

3. Going back to twst reality, where you don’t have magic and get sentenced to Ramshackle; what is your first thought upon seeing this safety hazard of a building? What’s the first thing you choose to fix there?

✦ My first thought is ‘no’. The first thing I choose to fix is the fact that I live there. Surely I can make a deal with Azul to have a spare room in Octavinelle. He can have Ramshackle in exchange. I know he wants that second location for the lounge

4. In an alternate reality where you don’t immediately get lumped together with Ace and Deuce, who in the school becomes your best friend(s)?

✦ Epel and Rook seem interesting to be around, I don’t know a ton about either of them, but going off of my general idea about the two, I could see myself hanging around them. Epel I’d probably befriend pretty quickly, Rook maybe not so much. Unless being from another world is enough to make up my lack of beauty or interesting qualities. Other characters I could potentially befriend would be Kalim, Jamil, Trey, and Idia

5. Which existing club would you give a shot? Any particular reason why?

✦ Board games club! You guys should’ve seen when I got Risk and nobody wanted to play with me because it was so long… in the board games club they’d have to join me, right? Also I just wanna vibe with Idia and Azul

7. Which of the events was the most exciting for you?

✦ Ghost marriage. Sitting on the sidelines and watching everyone get slapped would be legendary, and all those outfits? Even better. Of course I’d feel bad for Idia, but that doesn’t really change how amusing the rest of the event would be

✦ That entirely depends on their reaction to my 2 am singing, they might become nightmare fuel just to get me to shut up for a minute. Otherwise the ghosts are honorary dorm members, who have an obligation to listen to me, their dorm leader I’m officially the mc now

✦ Leona. As long as he’s actually awake/motivated to get up and do champion stuff, I think he’d be well suited... I say, having absolutely no idea what the context for this is. If this whole champion thing requires motivation however, I’d pick Jamil instead

✦ Cool as hell. Those are not things we have here and that is honestly a shame. I’m kinda interested in all the different types of fairies and what distinguishes them. Like is it just physical differences or do the different fae have special abilities of their own?

✦ Rat bastard who needs to stop eating overblot rocks. Or if he’s gonna eat them, at least wait until I’ve experimented on them to find out what they are and what they can do

17. If you had magic, what would be your unique magic?

✦ Now this is a hard one. I’d say… an ability that draws attention to or from someone. So the magic could make it so that everyone turns and pays attention to the target, or that everyone ignores them, making them essentially invisible. I don’t have a name for the magic right now because I only just came up with it

18. Favourite ship? 

✦ Marcela x Lilia. Not because I think it’s a good ship, but because if they did get together it would be so chaotic. It’s just for the memes

✦ Silver being twisted from the sword that kills Maleficent. I don’t know who first came up with the theory, but I’ve seen it mentioned multiple times by different people. I like it ‘cause it’d be an interesting narrative, and hint at a possibility of betrayal. A character twisted from a villain and another character twisted from what killed them, nice

20. The school year is coming to a close, how are you feeling? Any thoughts?

✦ Please tell me I can continue on as a second year. I’m feeling kinda annoyed that I can’t use magic, but seeing everyone overblot, I figure it might be for the best that I can’t

✦ Potion shenanigans. Perhaps an event where a dodgy potion resulted in some body swapping or something? Or they pull an Emperor’s New Groove and turn someone into a llama. I think I prefer the llama idea. Please twst give me a llama event

aurora, you're absolutely allowed to roast austin, i do the same, tbh I DO THE SAME WITH ALL OF MY OCS

vance's lore is one of my favorite things about my ocs. sure, i like to make jokes about vance being a gamer boy and him being a chaotic gremlin, but if it wasn't for his little brother act, he would be one of the most terrifying characters of mine. his lore is actually meant to sound like vance is self-aware.. and he kinda is and kinda isn't. he strongly believes that this world is a game and he knows that there must be a player out there, but.. it really is just a belief and also his way to cope with everything. in fact, if there was a boss fight with overblot!vance, you would need to convince him that everything around him is real, there's no player to control him and his decisions matter. i think it would be really cool, it's like, YOU KNOW THAT IT'S A GAME BUT YOU NEED TO TELL THIS CHARACTER THAT IT'S NOT. so basically, vance's coping mechanism is just very similar to being self-aware and he's right about twst being a game, but he doesn't know how right he actually is. why vance keeps acting like a child, even if he doesn't like it? he really does like the attention, but also.. vance and hayden are more similar than you think. vance is actually a huge control freak, that's one of the reasons why he wants this world to be a game, he wants to believe that he can somehow control the world around him. so maybe.. maybe he doesn't even realize it, but vance is lowkey trying to control everyone around him by acting like their little brother figure.

i'm glad you love allen's design!! oh, and about his white hair, when i first made him, i thought that he somehow got hurt by ice magic and then i learned about my friend's oc being based on elsa, so we decided to make them childhood friends who stopped talking to each other after she accidentally hurt allen with her magic. also, it was allen's parents' decision to separate them, his parents were quite overprotective. this is also why he always feels cold and gets sick easily, he's still under the influence of that magic! oh, and allen's creepiness usually shows in vignettes and ask game drabbles. he is a stalker like rook, he's also okay with stealing things that belong to his crush and his unique magic allows him to unlock any door, walk on walls and ceilings not so special now, lilia? and he has access to any room and house thanks to it. and yes, he likes to use his unique magic for stalking purposes and breaking into his crush's room. also, it's sort of an inside joke that became canon, allen can make knives appear whenever he needs them, like when he's mad. i decided to make it ambiguous on purpose, like it could be magic or it could be just him carrying knives with him all the time. allen is a HUGE EXTROVERT, he hates being alone and that's why he's always seen with someone, like fake!jay, hayden, roland, etc. however, he doesn't like riley's company and that's when allen shows his "real personality" and he also acts like that when he's alone, when there's no one around him. also, i'm going to write two vignettes for him soon, the beach episode one and the birthday one and there will be moments when he's alone, so look forward to those!

yeah, i really should make more content with austin, i was busy developing my other ocs and i kinda forgot about him.. but now i have his backstory in mind and some other personality traits and i actually like him a lot! HE'D KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT HIS MOLE BUT WOULD ALSO THINK ABOUT IT ALL DAY DFHBNSDJSKJS. i wouldn't say that his backstory is that sad, his family loves him a lot and cares about him, but.. he's still not the happiest person. i'm planning to make a post about his backstory (+ some other ocs, like angel) and i will reveal his homeland too, but there really is a reason why austin acts like that. i think the main difference between avery and austin is that avery really is a cute tsundere boy who just has really bad trust issues, a lot of insecurities and he doesn't know how to express his feelings well, meanwhile austin is tired, confused and he also has a secret that he's trying really hard to keep by acting like he's superior and refusing to get along with others. i came up with his backstory not so long ago, so it might sound a bit weird, BUT I'M TRYING TO MAKE IT WORK. here's a hint: austin doesn't like leaving his room, he always tries to avoid talking to others unless he's in "i need to prove that i'm better" mood, sometimes it feels like he's trying to push others away on purpose when they need help (and it's not because he's lazy), he never lets them watch him work on his machines, he doesn't have unique magic and he claims that he uses magic during classes.. but sometimes it feels like he either got lucky or he mostly uses his brains. and yes, his best subject is flying, but people don't know that he actually "made some adjustments" to his broom. i'm also planning to write wish upon a star vignettes for my ocs when i'm done with the beach event and allen's birthday vignette and austin will be a part of it!

His character design in so cool! The teal highlights are *chef's kiss*, and he's adorably short, fitting in with his 'little brother' vibe! The jacket and shoes that he wears with his school uniform are so? cute?? as well??? Green and pink colour scheme yes!! 💚💗

I think there's a bit of self-awareness in there, seeing as he seems to know the player? Or rather the existence of the player?

His backstory is kinda sad though. :( I don't know what its like to be underestimated or babied too much, but I can imagine it must have been rather frustrating for Vance. Its also really interesting that he continues to act like 'Heartslaybyul students' little brother' when he doesn't want to be treated like a kid. Old habits die hard? He really likes the attention? Who knows.

Allen Snowhill

His character design is 👌👌👌. I love his hair, and his blue eyes and popping! His joke about trolls when asked about his white hair is quite funny too! I wonder what's the real reason for his white streak of hair though? Is it the same thing that happened in Frozen?

I would like to know how he's creepy or weird though. Other ocs of yours do say that he's unsettling, but I've yet to see how he's unsettling in a scenario or something. Is he a stalker like Rook?

The thing about Allen is that I can only remember him interacting with other people. I can't imagine how he's like when he's alone. 🤔 Weird extroverts, I guess?

Austin Valiente

I'm gonna be honest with you, Lina, I really didn't remember anything about Austin except that he's mean and knows mechanic stuff until I read his profile again. He isn't your most memorable oc, and I don't remember you mentioning him a lot either. 😬

But I will say that he looks super cool! His blue, brown, and black colour scheme works really well together~! I love the little mole on his left cheek too! Ehe, looks kinda kissable. He'd kill me, but still.

I don't know if he has a sad backstory reason (like Minnie) as to why he's so mean to everyone, but I will call him a horrible person regardless. Roasting people and making them cry, making them beg for help, and hypocritically calling Idia a 'pathetic weeb' makes him seem like he's being mean for no reason??? I don't like outwardly mean people like that, which is probably why I forgot about him in the first place-
