Analysis of The Bad Batch’s Final Season Trailer

So the trailer for the last season of The Bad Batch finally got released, and we have all been screaming over it since this morning. Last season left us on a heartbreaking cliffhanger, and with Season 3 being our last season that we'll see the Batch together, there's a lot to look out for.

I didn't have too much to write in here, just some small thoughts.

For starters, we see Phee within seconds of the trailer opening, helping the Batch in some kind of action scene. I'm glad she's helping out, and I kind of wonder if we'll ever see her reaction to Tech being gone.

Rex will be helping out the Batch again, and hopefully he finds information to help find Omega.

This image has been in my mind for a while. There are two small figures that seem to be walking out from the ship, and I can't help but feel they're Omega and Crosshair after their escape from the lab. We'll just have to see.

They had the audacity to remind us that this happened 😭

We'll be getting a lot of action and chaos in this season. I wonder what's happening here.

Omega gets to see Crosshair again while they are trapped, and he looks so sad and tired. I'm looking forward to their interactions, and hopefully Omega tells him about Tech.

I think Emerie will have an important role to play, and I hope she tries to help get Omega and Crosshair out.

She's been waiting for so long, someone get her home soon.

Palpatine definitely has something big planned, it'll be a matter of time before finding out.

Many theories speculate that this is Tech... honestly, I'm not keeping my hopes high for the chance that he is alive (but I am on the side that he potentially is...). If this ends up being Tech, there goes the Winter Soldier arc.

I'm excited for Fennec Shand and Cad Bane to be showing up again. I feel like Fennec will probably help them, but maybe not.

We see Nala Se still alive and well, and I doubt she'll have a role in Omega getting out. I keep wondering if she'll be killed off this season.

This is Wolffe, isn't it??? We got Gregor in the first season, and now Wolffe will be coming so Rex can get him and lead up to them living together in Rebels.

I love Omega's hair here, she's getting so big all the time 🤧

This is definitely what got everyone screaming. We'll get to see Ventress in the Empire era, and that Dark Disciple book was the first thing that popped into my mind once I saw her design. I wonder what role Ventress will have in this season, and I love her new golden lightsaber.

What are your theories for the final season of The Bad Batch? Please tell me they got AZ back from Cid, and I pray we don't get to see Cid at all, for all we know she can leave. I wonder if we'll see Cody again after he disappeared. I hope Crosshair and Omega comes back home safely. And I just know the ending will be pain even though we want a happy ending 😭

It’s so cool, me and the asker have been working on it <333 instead of gifts, they specialize in certain tech and stuff 🗿

Basically Pedro is there. And it’s Antonio’s presentation at the college (he’s still 5, they’re all prodigies and presented at 5, except Mirabel who presented a little later cause she hadn’t decided her science concentration yet 😭😭). Anyway, Pedro sacrifices himself to save Señora Guzmán and boom died.

Alma hid the project he was gonna show the family that he was working on for a long time: Baymax. Basically Mirabel and the grandkids find him and he’s chill, helping them grieve and stuff. The pressure for this au is Alma taking Pedro’s saying “someone has to help” as the family needed to use their tech and intelligence around the city to help other people. And never expand on their tech. Always the same thing.

Anyway, here’s their sciences (all the Madrigals, including the husbands + Alma and Oedro are like. Literal prodigies, mostly in science, but other stuff 🤧):

Here’s their tech and stuff:

Isabela, maybe something similar to Honey Lemon, but she uses the chemicals of different plants that has different (non lethal) effects? She throws pollen pods like honey lemon does and whatever plants she makes all disappear after a certain amount of time or something, oh and her vines she uses to swing ofc, they're very durable. CARBON FIBER VINES ❗❗

Dolores, maybe she uses soundwaves and sounds in general, and uses something similar to a giant megaphone and speaks; does a lot of knockback.

Luisa, I feel like she would have attachable enhancements, kinda like gauntlets and boots that allow her to further utilize her strength and stamina etc etc

Camilo, maybe his tech tricks the mind, lots of illusions and stuff, and he definitely has a camouflage suit, so he's good for stealth and sneaking up on enemies. He might also go beyond from just people, might even have animals and objects too since its really illusion (mayhaps an upgrade later down the line in their endeavor) Ohhh, a upgrade would be really good and show how he (and the others) develop his tech further

Mirabel’s tech works with Baymax, so it's pretty similar to Hiro's, though I think she would be a jack of all trades as well. Also mentioned in what i wrote that she has a bag of tech goodies (inspired by her good ol bag in canon and also that one ask i saw about her magic bag)

Antonio, like I said before, uses robot animals. He builds them and sends then out, controlling them maybe via a headset similar to the microbots, and the animals have cameras so he can see what they see. I think maybe when he builds P.A.R.C.E (the giant robot jaguar; a.k.a Precision Automated Robotic Companion Entity) the other grandkids will let him go out to battle. Also lets him be at the final battle.

the reason why I'm kinda uncertain abt this is cuz like we always see as jay spoiling mila, like buying her stuff, cooking for her etc, but I rlly wanted to solely project this "prompt" kinda w jake, as the original user intended to.

so here's my kinda interpretation of it:

I feel like as much as jay spoils her "money-wise" (and ofc every-wise), Jake is kinda the type to do it randomly ?! like idk how to explain it, but its not like jay where it comes '"naturally" if yk what I mean 😭😭

hey, i've been reading your Cisco-related Flash fics, and what struck to me as impressive is how you implement the mentions of tech so well. i've run into trouble into writing scenes, where Cisco might have to tinker. 🤧🤧🤧 i know this is by a long-shot, however, do you have any writing advice on how to add tech as part of a scene??? or like wording on how tinkering works?? idk just basic tech stuff i guess. thank you and sending good ~~vibes~~ your way!

Cisco tinkering is definitely fun to write, but I'm not exactly sure how to describe my process for writing those scenes. But I'll give it a shot anyway.

So Cisco's tinkering with tech in fics usually fits one of two scenarios when I'm writing. Either it's to give him something to do in the scene since Cisco's definitely someone who likes to keep his hands busy. Or it's a specific tech I plan to use for plot reasons, so it gets threaded throughout the fic. That way Cisco's brilliant ideas to save the day don't come out of nowhere.

If its the former, then I'll usually just pick something we know he's worked on in the show. The quickly forgotten Boot Tech (how useful it would have been if perfected instead of forgotten after the S2 finale), updates on the suppressant tech (the cuffs, Caitlin's snowflake necklace), the weather wand... I don't really have to go too much into detail on it, but it can be fun to poke at canon a bit for all the things Cisco develops that never show up again once their original use in the plot is over. Sometimes I just have him working towards perfecting something that didn't work as expected. Other times I have ideas for alternative uses for the tech that can be fun to mention.

I've also been a Star Trek and Stargate fan for a long, long time. So I've learned technobabble from the two scifi series that did it best. ^_^

Though, really, watching Sam Carter (SG-1) and Rodney McKay (Stargate: Atlantis) spout technobabble is a great way to learn how to make made up science blend with real science to sound relatively believable. Stargate (SG-1 particularly) was pretty good about grounding their made up science in real world concepts. Definitely having obsessively watched those two shows has helped shape how I write Cisco now that I'm in the Arrow verse fandom.

When I have Cisco's tech being used in a specific way for plot reasons, however, I definitely have to know ahead of time what the tech is for. If I'm going to make, say, the Rainbow Raider the villain of a story and have him experimenting with new applications of his powers - messing with emotions other than anger - then I'd have Cisco pull out the device they originally used to combat Rainbow Raider's powers to work on upgrading for the new scenario. That way it still works when they need it. Then I can throw in things like, maybe it gets pulled out of mothballs and immediately tried on one of RR's victims but it doesn't work. Cue drama. :D

I think some of the development process I put in there comes from what I know about tech development from a software side of things. Since I'm a software engineer, I know how different types of design and development models work. Waterfall vs agile vs... anyway, I won't necessarily ever name the dev model being used, but it'll influence how I write Cisco's development process and it'll differ based on when he's working with a team, vs one other person, vs on his own.

Having Cisco collaborate is especially fun to do. Cisco starts off as a particularly brilliant mechanical engineer and by the time he leaves the show he's become very much a multi-discipline scientist. He does so because he learns so much from the people he collaborates with - or competes with, as the case may be. Cisco's knowledge of sonic technology and acoustical engineering improves due to his exposure to Hartley's Pied Piper gear. He learns bio engineering from his many collaborations with Caitlin. Harry being rather multi-disciplined himself, often pushes Cisco to have more confidence in himself and reach beyond his comfort zone.

So I'll pick who he's collaborating on based both on when I want a story to be set, how AU I want it to be (Hartley joins Team Flash? Harry doesn't leave post S2?), and what kind of tech is being developed for the plot (improving the amnesia inducer they used on Barry? that calls for Caitlin).

A story that I've been wanting to write is Cisco mentoring Chester while Chester creates tech that - predictably, I admit - saves Barry out on the field at the end. We never really got the mentor/mentee relationship between them expanded on the way I'd been hoping for when it became clear Chester was a permanent addition to the cast. The story hasn't happened yet because I haven't really fleshed out what the technology they're working on will be. I'm probably overthinking it a bit at this point, but I want it to reflect where Chester's at mentally during the story - his struggles with self doubt and learning to be more assertive, generally showing why Cisco felt so comfortable leaving Team Flash in Chester's hands when he eventually leaves. (So it's intended to be canon compliant and set before Cisco and Kamilla leave for Star City.)

I don't know how useful my rambles have been, but I hope this helps.

To be honest, I think that the concept of making OC's a very broad outlet to express creativity, especially since we're provided with unused/underrated Disney inspirations that don't have an official design in the game (although this does cause discourse among certain people who like to 'place dibs' on Disney inspirations and attack others because of it 😓). It's always so cool to see how everyone has different takes and their own imagination when creating OC's, even if they are based on the same Disney inspiration as someone else's — it just goes to show how truly wide and unique our minds are and it amazes me all the time!

Also, I'm taking this opportunity to say that Miss Raven (the OC) is in the process of being adopted by me, I'm now negotiating with Crowley about the adoption papers 😂😇 But seriously, I am in awe with her lore and she just fits so, so, so well and naturally in the settings of the game??? Oui, absolutely magnifique! 🙏

I’ve actually been asked to review/give my thoughts on an OC before as part of a proofreading commission I took on! Besides commissions, I’ll sometimes comment on a friend or a mutual’s OC—but I’m only comfortable doing that because it’s someone that I know 😅 I generally don’t give OC critique outside of these contexts because I figure if people are having fun with it, it’s none of my business to get involved (and it’s not like I’m any particular authority on OCs anyway).

OCs can be really personal, so I think it’s more important that you, the maker, be happy and have fun with your creations rather than seek my approval. Of course, if you’re actively seeking ways to improve your OCs, then there’s nothing wrong with asking around for advice or direction. It’s a very situational thing—but at the end of the day, it’s you that has the final decision on what changes! Others’ opinions can influence and guide you, but don’t let them rule your creativity! Just do what feels best to you~

Yes, the way TWST is set up definitely opens up a lot of possibilities, whether its OCs twisted from Disney properties or not. There will inevitably be OCs that take the inspiration from the same characters and/or concepts, but I don’t think that should be a reason to get upset and be nasty to each other 😔 I personally really enjoy seeing different people’s interpretations of the same Disney character, or how those interpretations end up comparing to the canon versions that TWST character (such as Snow White-based OCs vs Neige Leblanche). It’s interesting seeing how differently everyone processes and translates traits of the original into their own versions, and it’s just as fun seeing what kinds of completely original works come from people’s minds too!

I once again apologize for going by the same name as my OC 💦 It makes things confusing at times cksvwuevxkwmsk Nuuuuu, I wouldn’t give my birb dotter up for adoption 😭 I’m happy you like her lore though!! It’s something I’ve been planning for a long time, but it actually never occurred to me how well (or not well, I guess?) her lore would actually “fit” in the world of Twisted Wonderland. Now that I think about it, she’s… kind of written like an OB boy??? Like, Raven has the sad backstory, obvious negative traits on display that have been unregulated and left to fester, too much pride to seek help from friends or family… Yup, sounds like a recipe for a potential Overblot to me 🤔 OB Raven… with an outfit made of shredded pages and globs of ink, hair all twisted, a birdcage locking her head inside of it, a hovering crown of feathers, a monstrous Phantom raven looming behind her… Hey, if she can’t get a “happy ending”, then she’ll decide that no one gets a happy ending 💕/j dndbsvJbeksw ANYWAY I definitely wanted to write her as the type of character that slowly changes and grows over time—just like the TWST boys! I’m really proud of myself for being able to nail that feeling.

I don’t mind if like... you, the reader/Anon, want to say something to or interact with, Miss Raven. I’m also fine if people roleplay canon TWST characters interacting with her just to see how she’d react! It gets kind of complicated when people want their OCs to do the same though 💦 The TWST fandom has a LOT of OCs, meaning that I’d have to go hunting for information or research into every OC that wants to engage (and I don’t always have the time nor the energy for that). OC-OC interactions also have a tendency to turn into lengthy reblog chains, and I try to avoid those as much as possible since it makes blog navigation difficult. I guess I generally judge on a case-by-case basis? I’m fine with my close friends’ OCs interacting with Miss Raven, but I’d like anyone else considering it to first reach out and get my permission! ^^

While all this is going on her “Definitely not Evil” mother has abandoned her and her younger sister Usagi for awhile as in disappeared into the night Which pushes Hyde even further!

She gets total tunnel vision into winning the Jr Venus competition with Regalia Meteor and ignores all the Idia more and more she even starts to grow more distant from Usagi and her group mates

Idia with the best intentions, intent being key here again because she brought her mother back into her and her sister’s life again! Apparently she used to work for S.T.Y.X and got fired for being irredeemably evil or something wow! And Hyde is all you idiot! She’s literally evil! Her mom says she’ll leave and be nice if she wins the competition lol it’s rigged and she blames herself for it all

"Serim, can we talk?" Allen said, knocking Serim out of his thoughts. "Sure." Serim said, smiling at his blond haired friend. "What's wrong?" Serim worriedly asked as he entered Allen's bedroom. "I know what shoot (S/GF)." Allen said in a serious tone. Serim's heart skipped a beat the moment he realized why his friend wanted to talk privately with him. "What was it?" Serim asked, concerned. "A hunter… The bullet was a silver one." Allen announced, making Serim even more worried about the thought of hunters being around. "We can't tell anyone about that." Serim said with a serious tone. "Serim I know you're the alpha and everything but I think we should tell them about this. You knew this could happen, this is the price we have to pay for living here being what we are." Allen said mirroring his black haired friend's tone. "Fine…" Serim said as he exited the small room.

Now that Serim knew what was going on outside the little house and that Allen was concerned enough to protect his friends, he decided to make a more meticulous guard around the forest to make sure none of them were in any kind of danger.

Tonight was another normal night for you. A normal rainy night driving back home after a tiring university day. You've been accepted into one of the most prestigious digital design universities in the city and these days were pretty busy as you moved to the dorms. You would have stayed in the dorms on a rainy night like tonight if it weren't because you had forgotten the documents you had to deliver at reception before midnight so you could attend classes.

It was really hard for you to see clearly the road which made you drive with all your senses focused on the road. Suddenly, a blinding light appeared right in front of you, blinding you and making you lose the control on the car. Your eyes hurt and your car was spinning around without control. You tried your best to press the brakes of your car, trying to make it stop but it was useless. The wet road made it impossible for your car to stop spinning around and the only solution was crashing into something that would make it stop.

You desperately moved the steering wheel trying to stabilize the car until you crashed into a tree in the small forest placed next to the road. At least, it stopped spinning around. Your neck hurt due to a small bruise the security belt created with the friction it made with your soft skin when it stopped you from jumping out of the front window after the strong impact, your left eyebrow was bleeding with a small glass from the window stuck on the wound, your head was dizzy and it was hard for you to keep your eyes opened. Right when you thought nothing else could go wrong, one of the branches of the tree fell down on the ceiling of your car, reducing the little space you had for yourself and hitting your head strongly making you fall unconscious. This was definitely your last day on Earth.

On the other side of the forest there was Allen who has gone out of their little house with Jungmo to guard the forest like he has been doing the past few months to check there are no hunters around. “Ugh I hate rainy nights, mud keeps getting in between my paws.” Jungmo complained as they walked through the dense and wet forest. "If you ever listened to (S/GF) you wouldn't have that problem." Allen mocked his younger friend as he happily walked with the water proof little boots that the girl made for them a few months ago. "You look ridiculous in that." Jungmo laughed as he kept walking. "At least the mud is not getting between my soft paws." Allen said speeding up and overtaking his friend. "I'm even faster wearing this." Allen proudly said, looking behind him to meet Jungmo's fierce gaze. "Let's see how fast you are while running grandad." Jungmo said running, this time being him the one overtaking Allen. "Who are you calling grandad???" Allen said, chasing after him. Just like that they started to play around like they used to do when they were just two young puppies full of energy. Sometimes they missed those days when all their worries were not biting each other too strong while playing. Sometimes they missed those times when they only had to worry about not stepping into the little house with their paws full of mud. Sometimes they just missed having a peaceful and normal life.

"Wait, have you heard that?" Allen stopped his young friend while he bit his ear. "What was that?" Jungmo said, letting go of Allen's soft ear and focusing all his senses on the strong noise that filled the silence of the forest. They quietly walked towards the place where the strong noise came from. And it was then when they saw you.

"We have to help her." Allen said, turning into his human figure. "Since when do you want to save humans?" Jungmo said in a joking tone. "Since I had to do it with (S/GF)." Allen said as he walked towards your car. The moment Allen's gaze met your damaged figure, his heart stopped and his breath got stuck on his throat. Your face was covered with all kinds of cuts and bruises and your eyes were peacefully closed. "Is she alive?" Jungmo asked. There was no answer. Allen was too immersed in your beauty that he didn't even pay attention to his friend anymore. "Hello?" Jungmo asked once again, softly giving him a nudge so he would react. "What?" Allen said once he was back on Earth. "Is she alive?" Jungmo asked once again. "Yes, but she won't be alive if we leave her here more time." Allen said, concern invading his eyes as he turned to face you once again. "Her leg is trapped with the steering wheel, help me to pull her out." Allen said, opening the car door. After some minutes of the two boys trying their best to get you out of that car without injuring you even more, they finally succeeded.

"We should take her home. This is not a safe place." Jungmo said, reminding his blond friend about the hunters that tried to kill Serim a few months ago. Allen took a closer look at your damaged face, the feeling of knowing you invading his soul. "Allen. We have to go. Do we take her with us or not?" Jungmo insisted, knocking Allen out of his thoughts once again. "Yeah… Let's take her home." Allen said with a serious tone as he grabbed your body and carried you to their little home.

As they walked away from your car, a new branch from the tree fell causing your car to burn in a vivid Flame. "That was close." Jungmo said, admiring the fire before his eyes. "Yeah…" Allen said holding you closer to his body, like he was trying to protect you. He didn't even know why. He didn't even know in what moment he had the necessity of protecting you, but he had. Like you knew each other for ages. Like you were meant to meet that night. Like he was meant to save you from those flames.

They hurriedly walked towards the little house and as soon as they arrived and entered the wood house, everyone had their eyes on you. “What happened?” Woobin asked, surprised. “And who is she?” Seongmin added. “She had a car accident.” Allen said in a serious tone as he placed your body on the little couch so he could cure your wounds. “What’s going on?” Serim asked. His eyes couldn’t get off of you as Jungmo explained the situation he and Allen lived minutes ago. “Is she alive?” Serim asked with concern in her eyes. “She has lost a lot of blood through her leg, it got trapped under the wheel stair and I think her femur is broken but she’s still breathing so.” Allen said working on curing all your wounds and taking special care of your left leg which, just like he said, was broken.

Allen spent a long 30 minutes curing your wounds and making sure none of them kept bleeding so you would be okay for the rest of the night. “You should ask her to stay.” Serim said once everyone has gone to sleep. “I don’t even know her.” Allen answered with a cold and serious tone. Even though he looked like a cold boy on the outside, and he tried his best to keep that image, Serim knew him too well to believe he didn’t want you to stay. “You don’t know her but still saved her and brought her here to cure her wounds, huh?” Serim said with a mocking tone that pissed Allen off a lot. “Why don't you want her to stay?” He added, full of curiosity. “Why did you save her if you don’t want her to stay?” He kept asking, insisting more and more and waiting for the blond haired boy to answer with the truth. “I don’t know…” Allen said under his breath, almost inaudible. “So she’s the one.” Serim concluded, perfectly reading Allen’s mind and saying out loud what he was so afraid of saying. “It sounds scarier when you say it outloud.” Allen said as a nervous laugh escaped his lips. “You should not be afraid and just run towards her light. The closer you get, the brighter it’ll be and at some point it will be impossible to ignore that blinding flame.” Serim said, cheering his friend on asking you to stay. “I’m not going to force you to ask her but I really wished you could stop being so stubborn and enjoy love the way I could do with (S/GF.) ” Serim lastly added before walking to his bedroom.

Those words of Serim kept repeating like a damaged CD on Allen’s head as he brought you to his bedroom so you could peacefully rest in a comfortable place. “The closer you get, the brighter it’ll be.” Was it right? For some reason, he just wanted to stay close to you, feel the blinding light that embraced you, feel your warmth. He wanted to protect you. He has heard through his entire life tons of stories about werewolves when they found their true love and he couldn’t get rid of the idea of you being his true love.

FLASHBACK

“When we fall in love there’s nothing else we want to do rather than protect with our life those who we love.” Jooheon said, his eyes glued on the vivid flame of the chimney. “But you won’t know how that feels until you find the right one.” Jooheon added with watery eyes at the memory of his past.

“What will happen if the loved one is a human?” Allen asked, worry invading his yellow eyes. “That won’t happen. You can’t feel love towards those terrible beings.” Jooheon said with a serious tone as a tear fell down his cheek.

END OF FLASHBACK.

“I guess Jooheon wasn’t right… Who are you…? Why are you doing this to me…?” Allen asked like you could hear him as he admired your resting figure. He was right. Jooheon was just invading the little one’s souls with his unconditional hate for humans but he couldn’t blame you. After all, what happened to his alphas happened ages ago and humans have changed, haven’t they? At least, he hoped so. “Have a good night…” Allen said turning into his wolf figure and laying in front of the chimney and next to the bed where you rested.

The sunlight today was surprisingly blinding after the storm that caused your accident last night. Loud noises came from the kitchen as the 8 boys prepared breakfast and a silent Allen was sitting on a chair beside the bed waiting for you to wake up. He perfectly knew you would freak out as soon as you woke up in a stranger’s bedroom and that you would freak out even more when he showed you what kind of creature they were so he wanted to make sure he was there to explain everything to you and made you calm down.

Hours passed and you slowly started to open your eyes, feeling dizzy because of the amount of blood you lost and feeling a deadly pain on your left leg as you tried to move. “You can’t move, it’s broken.” Allen softly said trying to stop your moves. The moment you heard his voice, your eyes opened widely, scared of him. “Who are you? Where am I?” You said moving further from him and screaming in pain because of your leg. “I will explain everything but please stop moving. If you keep moving your leg won’t heal.” Allen said in a serious tone this time. He didn’t want you to think he was a cold person by the way he acted with you but he was full of concern when you shouted in pain. After all, Jooheon was right in one of the things he said, “when we fall in love there’s nothing else we want to do rather than protect with our life those who we love.” Allen couldn’t be 100% sure if you were the right one but he was 90% sure. “Do you want to drink or eat something?” Allen said, handing you a small glass of water. “I’m okay, thank you.” You said with a thread of voice almost inaudible and with horror reflected in your eyes. His lips turned into a thin line as he placed the glass of water away after saying an inaudible and simple ‘okay’.

“You had a car accident last night, I guess you lost control because of the pouring rain.” Allen started to explain as you stayed far away from him still scared. “I’m not going to hurt you, I promise.” He said looking deeply into your eyes. The way he said that simple sentence made you feel safe, like you were home. Your muscles started to loosen and the strong pain you felt on your leg started to fade away as soon as the tension you had ever since you woke up dissipated. “I was guarding the forest with one of my friends when we saw your car. We couldn’t ignore you and walk away so we decided to take you out of your car and bring you here so you could be safe. I think your leg broke because it was trapped with the steering wheel when we saved you so I tried to put a bandage on it so it could heal though it might take a long time.” Allen kept explaining while you remained silent. “Who are you?” You finally said. “I’m Allen.” He said reaching his hand out to stretch it with yours but he got no answer back. “It’s okay, I understand you feel confused and scared now.” He said, taking his hand back. “Come back here you brat!” You heard a voice of two boys playing outside the room.

“Allen, Minhee has dropped the breakfast you prepared for the girl.” Hyeongjun said, entering the room as he ran away from his friend. “You better not-.” Minhee threatened the younger one entering in the room as well but stopped when he noticed you were awake and that he was walking around in his wolf form. He was too busy chasing Hyeongjun that he didn’t even bother changing into a human when he came back from training. “What the-.” You said out of your senses, not believing you just saw a dog talking. “He’s a talking dog.” You said with confusion and horror written all over your face. Allen sent the two younger boys a death glare before apologizing to you. “We should go now, have a good day!” Hyeongjun said, dragging Minhee out of the room. “I’m sorry you had to find out this way.” Allen apologised once you were alone again. “We… Are… Werewolves…” Allen said pausing in between the words knowing how ridiculous it sounded and how incredible it might sound to you. Your face expression didn’t help at all as well. “You’re a what…?” You said still trying to find common sense in this situation but there was no trail of it. “I know it sounds crazy to you but believe me.” Allen said, trying to convince you. “No, that’s impossible, werewolves don't exist. I might have hit my head so badly. Reality fades away, this is clearly a dream. You’re not real and this isn’t real as well.” You said, trying to convince yourself of what you just saw wasn’t just a bad dream. “It is not a dream. You’re real and I’m real.” Allen said, nervously scratching the back of his neck. He was afraid that you would run away from them the moment you found out what they were and that he wouldn’t be able to protect you for the rest of his life just like he wanted to do.

“I know you’re confused and probably scared but… we’re inofensive, we won’t hurt you…” Allen finally said once you could calm down a bit. “I don’t know what you know about werewolves but they’ll probably be all lies… We’re not that bad…” Allen added, clearly hurt for God knows what he thinks humans know about his species. “I believe you… You know? In this complex universe, the views are all tangled up. Neither the good ones are so good nor the bad ones are so bad…” You said. Your eyes suddenly turned into a softer look, your scared face expression softening into a small smile towards the blond haired boy. Now it was Allen the one having a surprised expression, not really believing you just said such things and that a human could believe so. After all you were right. Humans weren’t as bad as he thought. “I’ll let you rest for a while more… You need to replenish forces, you lost too much blood last night.” He said walking towards the chimney of the small room. “Do you want me to light up a fire? Are you cold?” He asked, pointing at the chimney and turning to face you. “It’s okay…” You said, a small smile appearing on your lips at how sweet the boy was towards you without an apparent reason. “Okay… I’ll be in the living room, just call me if you need anything.” He said walking outside the room. “Allen…” You called him before he could exit the room. He just turned to face you as an answer to your call. “Thank you for saving me… I’m (Y/N) by the way…” You said smiling a bit wider this time. “Nice to meet you (Y/N)... And you don’t have to thank me, it was nothing.” He shyly said, returning the wide smile at you before exiting the room.

“How is she?” Hyeongjun asked worried. “Both of you fucked up everything but luckily she hasn’t freaked out to the point of leaving.” Allen admitted throwing himself into the couch. “Will she stay then?” Minhee asked. “I haven’t asked her yet… But… As if time has stopped, something has changed… The way she looked at me right before I exited the room just now was completely different from the way she looked at me when she woke up.” Allen commented, mesmerized by how radically your looks changed before his eyes. “Maybe you’re lighting up the flame in her heart she needed to become a believer, just like Serim did.” Seongmin said, joining the conversation and suddenly lighting up a light of hope in Allen’s heart.

Night has fallen easily and the sun has been replaced by a beautiful full moon. You could hear laughs and cheers that came from the outside of the small house which made you curious about what was going on out there. You spotted a wheelchair near the bed and remembered Allen told you to use it if you wanted to get off the bed. You struggled at first to reach it and to place your body on it but ended up making it to sit on the wheelchair and get out of the room. Now that you were conscious you could admire the little house you found yourself in. You spotted tons of photos of Allen and who you supposed were his herd covering the walls of the living room. Photos that showed off happy times they shared. They all looked so happy. “Welcome.” You heard someone from behind. “How are you feeling?” A black haired boy asked you with a wide smile. “I’m feeling better… Do I know you?” You asked confused, looking closer at the boy standing next to you trying to remember if he was one of the boys that entered the room in the morning. “I’m Jungmo, I’m the one that saved you with Allen.” He said with a wide smile. "Do you want to join us? Tonight is full moon." He said inviting you to join them in the outsides of the house. Now everything made more sense, those laughs and cheers were probably from the boys having some fun. “Sure…” You accepted his offer, not really knowing if it was a good idea joining some werewolves you just met at a full moon party. “Don’t worry, we’re not that crazy, you’ll be okay I promise.” Jungmo said laughing and reassuring you as he took the wheelchair and drove you outside the small house.

“Look who decided to join us.” Jungmo announced as he placed the wheelchair next to the vivid wood fire placed in the middle of the rest of the boys. “(Y/N) are you okay??” Allen asked, worry written all over his face. “I am okay, don’t worry.” You said smiling at him. “So, what made you join us on a night like today?” Minhee asked curiously. “Is it a special night?” You asked. “Look up at the sky sweetheart, it’s full moon, of course it is a special night.” A brown haired boy said, making you look up at the dark night sky. “I’m Woobin by the way.” He said reaching his hand out to stretch it with yours. The moment you could get a closer look to the boy, you noticed a beautiful yellow color in his eyes. You looked at the rest of the boys to find out they also had that beautiful yellow gleam. Everyone except Serim, who had a strong and vivid red gleam signaling he was the leader.

Night went by pretty well and you had to admit you had a lot of fun with the boys, learning about this new world for you and all kinds of funny stories that were captured on the photos you saw hours ago in the living room. "Did you have fun?" Allen said, sitting next to you and knocking you out of your thoughts. "Actually I have to admit I had a lot of fun… You guys are great." You said laughing, your eyes still focused on Seongmin and Taeyoung fighting for acting cute. "I'm glad you enjoyed the night." Allen said, giving you a wide smile. "(Y/N)... I want to ask you something… Your condition is not really okay… And I was thinking… Well, actually it has been something all of us have thought about… Maybe you could stay here for a few days… At least until you can walk…" Allen said shyly, avoiding any kind of eye contact with you, too scared of hearing your answer. "(Y/N)...

My girl mijeong we finally found her real story and her being mc's protector was amazing I love their friendship. Kim Mijeong is definitely blonde winter in black mamba they're the same. Also the architecture of the dungeon in rosewood where the tourney would happen its really similar to the one that happened on cypher. And the "Mr.Big-Boss-while-your-father-is-gone" got me, perhaps its haneul? I'm also really curious about the tourney and how they will fight, jeno protect her please

Hey Mariiii. Because of what you said about Mijeong being blonde Winter, I had to watch Black Mamba again after so long. Why do those girls seem to grow so fast 🤧 but yes, of course Mijeong best girl. We all stan her and their friendship. 🥺 oh and the Tourney is basically the same design as that mini competition in Cypher from Book 1. Kun and Ten are the ones who designed it in Inizio and Kun was also the one who 'suggested' it to Miyoung in Cypher. We stan our double-agent 😂
