List 5 favourite shows (in no particular order) and answer questions accordingly.
I don't watch shows? So uh
The Witcher
The Last of Us
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Fucken, idk, Spongebob?
I have about 20 anime I could put here but I don't remember more than like. One character from any of the ones I've watched
1. Who is your favourite character in 2?
Joel. I love that old man so much
Tumblr media
I couldn't fix him and actually I don't want to
2. Who is your least favourite character in 1?
Of the main characters? Yennefer. Mainly because of how some in the fandom treat her character, refusing to see any flaws, calling her perfect, acting like any slight to her character in canon or fanon is toxic. She is inherently flawed like all good characters should be and people acting like that makes me want nothing to do with her.
If it weren't for that, she'd be fine, even if her and Geralt are truly awful for each other.
3. What's your favourite episode of 4?
The campfire episode ig
...I'm taking this opportunity to rant about TLOU cause it's my post and I can THE FIRST EPISODE IS AMAZING OKAY. The character introductions, the reintroduction to Joel, the world building, the slogan of the fireflies matching Joel's journey, Joel searching for Tommy because protecting his people has become his whole purpose, just. Someday I'd like to write an essay.
4. What is your favourite season of 5?
The ones where boys kiss boys
5. What's your favourite relationship in 3?
I wasn't really a fan of most of the canon ships honestly, but since it's Relationship and not Ship then Iroh and Zuko. I love that Iroh shows Zuko how he can be a non-toxic man in a world where they were both taught just toxic, power hungry and angry masculinity.
6. Who is your anti relationship in 2?
what does that even mean. like... the ship I hate? the NOTP?
fucken idk man. I just ship old man Joel with an OC. everyone can fuck everyone for all I care
7. How long have you watched 1?
Early 2021 probably?
8. How did you become interested in 3?
It was on TV. That's about it.
9. Who is your favourite actor in 4?
The talking sponge?
10. Which show do you prefer 1, 2 or 5?
It will come as a surprise to No One that has talked to me in the past month that I'm gonna say The Last of Us, considering I'm on watch through like...9.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of 1 or 3?
I think ATLA has more episodes?
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
David Hasselhoff
13. How would you kill off your favourite character in 5?
This question list is really thrown off when you haven't watched 5 shows in recent memory
14. Would a 3/4 crossover work?
If they can crossover uncle grandpa and steven universe, any crossover can "work".
15. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple.
Ciri and Eskel, and if anyone comes at me all "EW GROSS THAT'S HER UNCLE" I'm going to smack you with a dildo. They interact like twice in book canon, 0 times in show canon, and game canon makes it perfectly clear that it would be NORMAL AND PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE for fucking GERALT to be in a relationship with her. Get your fanon out of my canon
also it's fiction so anything goes
16. Overall, which show has the better cast, 3 or 5?
oh huh I guess I could have put game of thrones on the list, that would've made this easier. too invested now. anyway the voice actors for ATLA were great
tagging no one because the kitten is making it hard to type, if you wanna say I tagged you go for it

Who's your Daddy?
Older!James Kelly x f!reader
Tumblr media
(SORRY FOR BEING GONE SO LONG OMLLLL- i’ve never written anything other than starwars lol- but I hope this is enjoyable. I also havent ever written fauxscest and I wouldn't say i'm really into it, but I feel like it fits the character lowkey)
One of James' customer mistakes you for his daughter and you actually play along...James isnt thrilled
warnings: dead dove do not eat?, Fauxscest, age gap, orgasm denial, just regular schmegular smex, name calling,
________________
“Fuck Jamie!” you squealed as DILF!James Kelly harshly bent you over the old camaro that had been sitting in his shop for the past two weeks.
His strong tattooed hand had your nicely curled hair in a strong grip as he smacked your ass with the other. “You wanna act like a child so bad, then I’ll treat you like one” he said as he continued to spank you.
Earlier, James had been finishing up a job on an old Ford pickup and was negotiating payment with the owner when you skipped out from inside the shop wearing shorts and a tank top.
In James’ “office”- really just a room with a chair and desk that he’d toss papers on (or eat you out on)- he had a bowl of candy just in case a client brought around their kids. James never really knew what to do with kids, but you told him having a candy jar would make him seem less scary.
Of course he had one the next day.
But clients never really brought their kids around the shop so you got to enjoy the majority of the candy. Today you were feeling the cherry lollipop and twirled it around your mouth as you scampered out to see what James was up to.
As you walked out you saw James broad back facing you as he stood with his arms crossed towards a gruff man with gray hair. They looked like they were talking shop- how boring.
You sighed and were about to go back inside when the gray haired man noticed you.
“Kelly, you never mentioned ya had kids?”.
James was taken aback- kids?
He turned to see what the man was looking at when his icy eyes landed on your tantalizing form; it was nearly 97 degrees and humid as fuck- why the hell did you look so good?
He subconsciously licked his bottom lip before remembering the man’s comment; he turned back just about to protest when you skipped up to him and threw your arms around him.
“He’s never mentioned me?” you said with a fake pout.
“But dad- I thought you were proud of me? Why don’t you tell your friends about me?”
James was too stunned to speak- sure, you’d occasionally call him “daddy” in bed but he never thought that act would leave the bedroom. His left eye twitched as he looked down at your doe eyed expression.
“Haha- I’m sure yer Dad’s proud of ya kiddo- probably just wanted to hide you away cause you’d have all the boys riled up” the gray haired man chuckled as James fought to keep his frustration at bay.
“Is that why daddy?” you asked innocently.
James was pissed
and extremely turned on.
But he was really bothered that his client was obviously checking you out right in front of him. He clenched his jaw once more before straining out an answer.
“Yea thats why, sweetheart. I’d hate to have to get the shotgun out of the shed for something other than hunting” he falsely smiled.
You hugged him once more before heading back inside “Well I’ll let you two keep talking- Thanks for choosing my dad’s shop” you smiled at the man before your boyfriend.
He shot back a bright grin “Not a problem darlin’, I’ll be sure to come to yer Dad’s shop from now on haha”.
James clenched his fists at his sides, he could feel himself losing his composure.
The man finally paid James and added a little extra and told him to “buy somethin’ nice for that daughter of yer’s”.
Oh- James would definitely not be buying you something nice after the little stunt you just pulled.
“She's a looker Kelly, better keep an eye on her'' the man commented once more before hopping into his newly fixed truck.
James just nodded as he counted the money the man paid him, “Yea, i’m always lookin at her- especially when she's bouncing on my cock”.
The old man’s eyes almost popped out of his sockets; “Pardon?!”.
James finally met his eye once more with a smug look, “Yea, she’s not my daughter- that’s my girlfriend”.
The man just sat with the truck held in reverse as he tried to replay the whole interaction.
“And I’m gonna fuck her raw for that shit she just pulled- Thanks for the tip and have a nice day” he said before shoving the cash into his pocket and shutting the garage gate.
You had taken a seat at James’ desk as you mindlessly scrolled on your phone. You thought it was funny to play with him like that but you didn’t think it would get him too worked up- so when you heard him call for you to come out to the garage your body buzzed with nervous excitement.
He had called your name harsher than he normally would so you could tell he was feeling some type of way but you couldn’t quite put your finger on what… were you about to be lectured, yelled at, or fucked?
Maybe all three heh
James was standing domineeringly with his feet slightly parted and arms crossed tight as you entered the garage.
“Yesss? What’s wrong Jamie” you answered innocently.
He clicked his tongue and cut his eyes, “you know damn well what you were doing”.
You pouted your pretty lips and shook your head, “I don’t really see anything wrong with joking” you said smugly.
Annnd now you’re here, bent over his camaro with him ruthlessly plunging his thick cock in and out of you.
James’ veins popped as he tugged at your hair with one hand and angled your hips up with the other. He was panting like an animal as he forcefully thrusted into you, heavy balls slapping against your swollen clit.
“Fuck, please! Jamie- Slow down!” you cried as you grounded yourself on the hood of the old car as your boyfriend hit it from the back.
“Jamie?” he questioned, squeezing your ass harder.
“James!” you managed.
He let out a low chuckle that made you even wetter than before, “you wanted to call me dad so bad earlier, what happened, doll?”.
You could hear his stupid smirk in the way he spoke, you wanted to say something but all that was coming out were pathetic whimpers and moans.
You felt him shudder as you clenched your gummy walls around his throbbing cock- “s-shit” he cursed under his breath as he slowly pulled out until just his tip was left in you.
Your eyes were already brimming with tears-but when he stopped his movements, the tears started to flow. Your poor pussy ached for him to slide between your folds- once he started, you needed him to finish.
It was almost criminal how empty you felt without your boyfriend’s dick inside of you. You began to whine the longer he held still.
“You think you’re so slick, little brat” he growled as his rough palm made contact with your bright red ass cheek for the umpteenth time.
He leaned down to whisper in your ear and you felt the cool silver of his cross chain as it slid down your arched spine.
“Who am I” he asked with a dangerous lilt to his voice.
“James” you cried again, you knew that was the wrong answer but you needed him to keep going.
Without warning he plunged into you and bottomed out as your eyes rolled back in pleasure. But just as fast as he was in, he had resumed the previous position.
“Incorrect” he said before pulling completely out.
You whimpered before he flipped you around so that you were staring at his flushed face; God he was perfect. Looking down between the two of you- his hard cock was completely coated in your combined juices and twitched as he stood over you.
He grabbed your hips and lined himself up with your aching core once more before shoving himself in with an abrupt snap of his hips. You gripped onto his forearms as you yelped.
“Who am I” he asked once more, his voice low with lust.
“D-Daddy” you cried in humiliation as you shied away from James’ watchful eyes.
He halted his movements and leaned closer to your ear, “Almost. What did you call me earlier, doll?” he said with a devious smirk.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, “...dad”.
“What was that baby? Didn’t hear ya” James taunted.
“DAD!” you wailed as you dug your nails into your older man’s forearms.
“That’s it, Sweetheart” he smiled as he quickened his pace.
You moaned as his sloppy thrusts jiggled your breasts around for Jame’s viewing pleasure. You felt your high approaching fast.
“Fuck- I”m close- I” you cried as James continued diving deeper and deeper into your sopping cunt.
James bit his bottom lip and pulled out as fast as he had been fucking you; leaving you with a disappointingly empty feeling. You gasped at the loss of his massive member and your eyes shot open to see why your boyfriend felt the need to pull out.
There he was in all of his glory; brow adorned with sweat , face flushed, brows drawn together, and lips parted. Soon you felt his warm ropes of cum spilling onto your stomach, you whimpered at the wasted seed and your lost orgasm.
He finished stroking himself with a shudder and squeezed out the rest of his spend onto you with a low groan.
“W-why?” you almost cried as your boyfriend began to clean himself off.
“Good girls wouldn’t cum from their dad’s dick-” he tossed you a towel from the hanger on the wall, “I hope you’ve learned your lesson, little one”.
“Once you’ve had time to think about your actions and clean up- maybe I’ll consider letting you cum” he said before leaving you alone and empty in his dim office.
***
lol I hope you enjoyed :)

nothing to say when heaven falls | Drew Starkey x black!reader
summary: what can you do when the person that’s supposed to understand and be on your side chooses to doubt your fears?
Word count: 1388
a/n: not edited, we die like soldiers!!!!! pls let me know if you wish to be added to my taglist
Tumblr media
"How can't you see how disrespectful this is to me, Drew?" You ask with a strained voice and teary eyes. "Everywhere you go she's looming like a shadow."
"She's my friend, what do you want me to do?" Exasperated, he asks.
"I don't know. Maybe tell her that your fiancé doesn't feel comfortable with her following you around, traveling abroad to see you or fuck, being all fucking touchy and handsy with you in public."
My throat was burning as the words slipped my mouth but I simply couldn't avoid it any longer. I am so tired of this whole situation and it has been going on for far too long. I just can't hold it back anymore.
"Can't exactly tell her what to do," he rolled his eyes this time.
"Really? Am I really asking for that much?" I look at the man in front of me with disbelief, "I just want to feel like I'm not invisible in my own goddamn relationship. She sees you more than I do and I am the one with a ring on my finger. How is this fair?"
"Babe, listen, there's nothing going on between me and her. You have to believe me," he pleads as he runs his hands through his hair.
"You don't think I'm trying to believe you? I'm in the trenches everyday telling myself this over and over again, but how can I turn a blind eye to it when the first thing I see whenever I'm online is that you're both coincidently in the same city. For the millionth time."
I know that pulling this out in the open this way isn't the best option. But how could I keep bottling all of this up when it's causing such a heavy pain in my chest every time I see their names together?
It was always clear the perks of dating a public figure and I never backed out on it. Now seeing the man who asked me to spend the rest of my life with him and have his babies walking around with the woman everyone swears he was romantically involved with is messed up.
“I don’t know what you want me to do,” he admits as he walks away from me.
That felt like a punch. Because how could I make it anymore obvious? Do I have to draw it to a thirty year old why he should respect the woman he chose to propose to?
“Are you for real right now?” I asked as I follow him into the kitchen of our shared apartment. “Did you really just said that to me, Joseph?”
At this point it felt like there was no going back anymore, either this was going to be totally fixed here or it wouldn’t at all. The bandaid was ripped and the wound was open and burning.
“How can you be so dull? You really can’t see what the problem here is?”
I watch as he fills a glass with water and turns his back to me. He did it twice already. The off white walls of the kitchen lacked the warm they always brought when we were in it together. It felt claustrophobic and like the roof was going to fall over our heads at any given minute.
“You’re acting like I’m cheating on you. Like this is some major fuck up. It isn’t, you’re turning it into something it isn’t.” His tone was cold but looking at his posture it was clear that he was trying to maintain his calm.
The condescending tone in his voice made me want to shrink into myself and hide away from the world.
“Oh, right. Yeah, blame it on me for thinking that my fiancé going out of his way to be with his ex fuck buddy isn’t normal.”
“Careful,” he warns once finally looks at me.
“Or what, Drew? What else could you possibly do that will make me feel worse than I already do?” I challenge, my gaze locked on him as I wait.
After a few minutes of us staring down at each other, he shakes his head and sighs.
“I’m not doing whatever this is. I’m done entertaining this,” he declares and he leans against the countertop.
Drew and I met around two years ago through a mutual friend. We instantly hit off and after a few dates, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend - which I obviously accepted. We had this instant connection that isn’t common. At first I was terrified of it, I knew who he was and the fact that his life was always being scrutinized by thousands of people. I knew what people said online about him and as we got closer and closer I couldn’t help but lose myself in the speculations about him even more.
Our relationship was great and we always made sure that each others boundaries were respected, so color me stoked to be in this situation right now. I am not dumb and every single day there is a needle pinching me making me think of stuff and situations like the one we find ourselves right now just indulge those thoughts.
In the early days of our relationship we made sure there were no secrets between us and past relationships. I knew I was his first black girlfriend, I knew he was born and raised in the South too. So joining that and the fact that I am an immigrant did make me scared of a lot of things, the main of them being the fact that it isn’t uncommon at all for men to always find their way back to that they are used to.
So seeing her upon him all the time while people online barely know about our relationship feels like hell. Because even though I’m in family pictures that his sisters post online, and the very visible ring on my finger I am never considered the option of being his significant other. She is. Every single time. And he never did anything about it - hell, he never even set boundaries with her and she knows that we’re together. Am I really reading too much into things?
Being three months away from our wedding day, this isn’t the kind of thought or conversations I would like to be having. I should be fucking excited and dress hunting, but lately the only thing that I feel like doing is swallowing lumps and holding back tears, faking smiles and pretending I’m fine. I’m not, I’m fucking falling apart and I’m so tired of begging to be seen.
“I don’t know how else to tell you that I am not comfortable with this and that you shouldn’t be either,” I point out as the first tear cross the edges of my cheeks. “I don’t know how else to ask you to respect our relationship.”
“I respect our relationship, I always did. I just don’t think that what you’re saying right now makes any sense. Whatever I had with her in the past is over.” He says as he runs one of his hands through his face.
“Drew, honey, you’re not seeing things from my point of view. Imagine if it was me catching planes every other day to be with someone that I was involved in with in the past. And all of our friends know that you and I are together. How would that make you feel?”
At that he says nothing but silence can mean many things, and in this case it means consent.
Tired of this back in forth conversation, I reach for my phone that was besides his on the counter and as if the timing couldn’t be more right, the screen of his phone lights up with an incoming call. No surprise flashes through my features as I see the picture on the caller id, both of them in a mirror picture as they brush their teeth.
“I can’t do this anymore,” I confess watching as he reaches for his phone quickly declining the call. “Not when you’re up to your eyeballs into whatever this is. I’ll make the calls tomorrow and cancel the dates with the venue.”
I grab my phone and my purse and I walk towards the front door before he can say anything else, I’m closing it behind me.

Mr fix it - dad Theo Nott x femreader
Description: Theodore is protective over his wife and daughter as they accidentally take a fall into the lake under his supervision
Word count: 1.65k
Fluff
Warning: mentions of falling into the lake (no complete drowning, just panic)
likes comments + reblogs appreciated xx
...
After graduating high school, Theodore wasted no time in proposing.
It was a collection of things. He didn't want to risk the two of you drifting apart. With his senior father falling ill, Theodore knew what would be waiting for him with his father's departure, a huge mansion, too much money and oh so much time.
Being all alone in that house was his nightmare. He knew he would go insane if you were not by his side, as his wife, creating a home out of that residency together.
So that you did. A small, intimate ceremony, your close friends and family, a not-so-humble celebration at the manor that would soon be yours to share.
When at Hogwarts, you practically lived with each other; your dorm was his and vice versa. Moving in was bliss.
You had redecorated the house and brought life back into its rooms; it was such a big property, though it never felt empty; how could it? When it was filled with so much young love.
After falling pregnant with your daughter, Theodore's whole demeanour shifted; a once carefree young boy had become an observant young man, the father of his little girl.
He would make sure, heavy or sharp objects weren't in her reach.
Her bedroom, to Theo's liking, was almost bare of furniture, simply her bed, a rocking chair and a small table cluttered with books, avoiding almost all ability of injury.
He would hover over her each step she took; this became harder the faster she ran; he was so scared of her own two feet, his arms never too far away, in case he needed to catch her.
"You need to relax, Teddy. She's not made of bubble wrap. Children are meant to fall and cry. It's natural" you expressed, sliding into bed next to him
"I know, I just don't want to see either of you hurt, ever." he sighed back
"Theo, when have we ever" you smiled at his foolish panic
"You do your damn best at keeping us safe alright, just take a step back. It'll be good for her, ok?" you said, hands through his hair
He looked into your eyes, "Ok?" you repeated
"Ok." he agreed, kissing you goodnight.
You were quick to fall asleep. Theo laid, eyes open, mind awake. How could he sit back and not do everything he could to make sure his precious girls didn't get hurt, even by accident. His heart strings pulled at the very thought of you both, it came from love, such devotion to his two brilliant girls, his wife and daughter.
The next afternoon, as he rested and watched against a large tree in the backyard, he observed the two of you playing near the lake on the property's edge.
'they're fine', leave them be', he reminded himself, body heavy against the tree, eyes still glued to you two.
When, from his distance, he saw your energetic three-year-old jump around you, you were wearing a long flowing dress; it was just a little too long for your body, as he had watched you hold it up in your hands to avoid tripping.
His two girls picked flowers by the lakeside, placing them into a basket you carried on your arm.
It was in a flash of a second as he watched your daughter step on the hanging fabric, causing you to fall in the water, "Daddy!" your small child called out
He sprinted toward you. "Stay there!" he yelled towards her. As he ran, he watched his daughter willingly enter the water to try and help you before he could get to you, completely ignoring his instructions
The problem was the dress was too heavy, you were struggling to stay afloat, and your daughter, she didn't know how to swim.
You held your daughter above water as she kicked against the current in fright, gasping for air yourself; you were swallowing too much water.
Without hesitation, Theodore plunged to your rescue, taking your daughter into his hand, the other pulling you with them.
She cried in confusion as she was placed onto the grass, but her now very drenched father, "Don't move darling", he sternly instructed her as he rushed to your side, rubbing your back as you coughed up.
"What's wrong with mommy?" your daughter questioned, tears still falling down her face. She knew she was responsible
"She's alright, mommy's alright," he said, holding your hair back as you caught your breath.
Crawling towards your daughter, you lay down completely on the grass next to her, "I'm ok, sweetheart", wiping the tears off her now puffy cheeks.
Theodore knew the child was ok, so he cupped your face to inspect for anything. When he was satisfied, he joined your place on the floor
"Holy shit" he muttered, grasping what just unfolded, placing his daughter onto his lap
"We're fine" you smiled towards your obviously freaked-out husband
"Sorry" your daughter frowned
"Don't ever come in the water again, alright, not until we teach you how to swim," you say, trying to hide your own panic about what might have happened if Theo wasn't closed; she nodded in agreement.
That night in bed, after putting your daughter into her own room, Theodore suggested removing the lake altogether.
"No, that's not necessary, Theo", you insisted
"and just after you told me to lay off as well" he shook his head, rubbing his eyes
"we're safe thanks to you, alright? Even if we do get hurt, you always come and fix it, piece us back together," you soothed
He couldn't even look at you without reimagining you fighting in the water
"Well, I know something you don't know, something that might cheer you up" You smiled, gently moving his face towards your own
"What's that?" he said, looking deeply into your eyes
Before you could reply, your daughter crept into your bed, sliding herself into the middle of you both
"Are you ok, my love?" you ask your little girl as she moves beside you
"I no sleep" she huffed, getting comfortable
Theodore smiled, eyes wandering between you both
"What are we call, baby brother, daddy?" she questioned
"You want a baby brother?" he said, gently wrapping his long arm across you and your child
You tried to hide your face
"No silly Daddy, Mommy said he's coming soon", she smiled with excitement
"Really?" Theodore said to you, sitting upwards
"yeah," you laughed as Theodore placed kisses all over your face, your daughter laughing at the commotion.
This meant two things, his family extending and another little human to worry over.

hi i love your writing unfortunately there aren't many fics for the iwtv so tysm!!
i was wondering if you could write something about louis lestat and claudia with a (vamp?) reader that accidently timetraveld
Back In My Arms | Lestat x Reader x Louis
ෆ time traveling accidentally and you're able to relive bittersweet memories.
thank you and I agree, especially the amc version compared to the movie. The other posts are coming, but I had to rush and get this one out because it was so gut wrenching for me 😭 LOL
Tumblr media
“What do you think? The blue or the purple,” you held the dresses to your body.
“I prefer your birthday suit,” Lestat said over the classical music, making you roll your eyes at him. Could he ever be serious when you needed him to be?
“Louis,” you called out, wanting a real opinion.
“Hm? Oh, the purple” he was hardly listening, more focused on the pages of the book.
“So the blue, got it,” you grumbled, storming away, to finish packing your things.
“Ma chèrie, why are you leaving again? It truly makes no sense to me why you remain friends with this mortal,” Lestat said.
“I don't see why you care, it's not like either of you will notice I’m away,” you said, as you closed the bag.
“Don't say that, we do notice,” Louis said, defensively.
“I'll only be away for a night,” you mumbled, checking your appearance in the mirror, and slinging the bag over your shoulder.
“Stay, you can give us a more detailed visual representation of the dresses,” Lestat said, straightening his posture when you scoffed.
“Sex doesn't fix everything”
“It is a start”
“And maybe that's why we’re in the situation we’re in, now, if you'll excuse me, I’m going hang with my mortal friend, who communicates with me and doesn't want to block out our problems with Mozart, books, and sex,” you said, storming out of the townhouse, making sure to slam the door.
Getting into your car, you began to drive to your close friend, George, or Georgie, you called him both. He was middle-aged, although he was closing in on becoming elderly. He'd oftentimes been told he resembled Bill Nye, but those comments usually only made him red in the face, before he sent a storm of swear words at the person, in his thick Cajun accent. Divorced and cut out of his kid's lives, he was lonely, but so were you. Georgie was the only mortal to ever know that you were a vampire, and he made you feel normal.
Although having a few questions at first, he eventually let the matter go, and hardly ever brought it up. The two of you had been friends for nearly a decade now, and you planned to hold on until the bitter end. He wasn't too keen on being turned, scorned by his wife leaving him and his children siding with her. Lestat and Louis weren't comfortable with your friendship at all, but after realizing your relationship was completely platonic and you weren't cutting him out of your life, they grungily accepted him.
As you finally parked in front of Georgie’s house, approaching the door, you shook your head, discovering it was unlocked. Letting yourself in, you locked the door, going to where you'd both hang out for hours, his basement.
“You need to keep your door locked old man, anyone could just walk in here,” you said, going down the stairs. Tossing your bag onto the couch you'd usually sleep on, in the windowless room.
“Nobody comes here but you,” he said, making you laugh.
“So how is it going?” you asked, sitting in a nearby chair.
“A little more progress than last time, how are things at home?”
“Lestat is…well Lestat and Louis will always act like our issues aren't there,” you shrugged.
“Have you tried talking to them?”
“Of course, Lestat doesn't take anything seriously enough, and Louis wants to brush over it all,” you said.
“Hopefully, this is a success, because then we can fix everything,” Georgie smiled.
“Maybe you, but I don't see my problems being fixed”
“Don't underestimate science,” he told you.
Georgie had been working on an actual time-machine portal. He believed if he could go back in time, undo his mistakes, could prioritize his family over work, maybe that would stop his wife from having an affair with the neighbor, from leaving him and draining his wallet, and taking his children who he couldn't even get a happy birthday from.
He insisted that you would be able to use it, to repair your companionship. A long time had passed since 1910 and much tragedy and heartbreak happened. Separating from each other and eventually reconnecting, recently everything had been so stagnant and bland. No energy to argue about obvious conflicts, but unwilling to leave each other again and be forced to deal with the pain.
“Oh, my goodness,” Georgie stood up, his hand going to his chest. Your eyes widened, worried that he would croak.
“What is it?” you asked, you couldn't sense any internal issues, noticing his thoughts were jumping for joy.
“I think…I think it works,” he said, as he began to type on the nearby computer. The pod he'd spent years building, lit up, the white light faint.
“It turns on, how will you know if it works for real?” you asked.
“Could you maybe catch a few raccoons, rats, birds, anything, we can try on them,” he asked. Standing up, you went outside, quickly grabbing a rat from near the drainage, bringing it to him.
“Done,” you smiled, holding it firm, tossing it in the pod, as he opened the door. The rat squeaked a bit, running in circles, as Georgie typed.
The machine began to make a noise before the rat burst. It’s guts splattering on the door.
“Ew, what happened?” you asked him, pressing against the door, to look inside in disgust.
“It seems like it is releasing some sort of radiation, too strong for animals and people, I'll have to keep working on it,” he grumbled disappointedly.
“I could try it if you want,” you offered.
“The radiation will be damaging-
“In case you forgot, I’m hardly human anymore, I am a bit intrigued, the worst thing that could honesty happen is I get burned up, and I’ll heal,” you said, as he faced you.
“Are you sure? I don't want you to feel like you have to do this, Y/n,” he said, but you brushed him off.
“Trust me, I don't, but you've put so much time into this, almost as long as I've known you, I want this to work out for you,” you said.
“Okay, let me get suited up, to clean it first,” he said, changing into the nbc suit to clean the inside of the pod. While waiting for him, you checked your phone, seeing a message from Louis.
“Sending a picture of the dress, I’m sure you look beautiful as always”
Smiling softly, you set your phone on the counter, taking your shoes off, watching as Georgie scrubbed the blood away. Little did Louis know, you wouldn't be wearing the dress to go hunting tonight. As soon as he finished cleaning, he was back at your side, typing on the monitor.
“We’ll do, let's say 5 minutes into the future, I’ll think of a number and when you come back, tell me the number, and time it to see if there is a significant change in time,” he said, as you nodded in agreement, accepting the small stopwatch, stepping into the pod.
Your arms at your sides, you briefly gave him a thumbs up, hoping to reassure his anxious thoughts. Typing on the computer, the pod began to light up again, the noise leaking out before it started to shake. Standing up, Georgie stood with his eyes wide, his jaw dropping as you vanished.
“Oh my Lord, it's working,” he said, his hand shakily went to his mouth.
Back at home, Louis and Lestat were relaxing, leisurely lounging around when it happened. A sudden feeling of dread washed over them as if you were gone. Glancing at each other, both of them stood up, rushing from the house to your friend, George's home. Bursting through the door, they went downstairs.
George looked back, gasping, surprised to see the elder vampires. However, before he could say anything or move, Lestat had him pressed against the wall, his hand around his neck.
“What did you do?”
“M-machine,” he choked out, looking over at the pod.
“Lestat, look,” Louis said, staring at the pod, fog seeping from the bottom.
“What is this?” he continued, looking to George.
“Time machine,” he struggled to say, before Lestat dropped him.
“You didn't put her into your experiment,” Louis said out loud, shaking his head, already pacing the floor.
“She offered, and it was only five minutes into the fut-
Suddenly, within the fog, you could be seen, smiling in excitement from the exhilaration of the atoms passing through your body. Your smile quickly faltered, seeing your lovers and a nervous Georgie.
“What are you doing here?” you asked.
“Get her out of it, now,” Lestat told Georgie.
“Leave him alone,” you argued.
“This isn't safe, Y/n, we thought you were gone,” Louis told you.
“Don't parent me, Louis”
“Get her out of it now, or it will be destroyed,” Lestat said, shoving George into the computer, his hands smashing against the keyboard.
“Stop it, Lestat,” you yelled.
“What did you do?” George stressed, as the machine lit up. Typing as quickly as possible, he couldn't see the results that he needed.
“Y/n, he made me press a few buttons, it is going to the past, I don't know how far, but I’m going to fix it,” Georgie said apologetic.
“What?” Lestat and Louis said at the same time.
“Do not kill him, fucking asshole,” you said before vanishing.
“Can you bring her right back?” Louis asked.
“I don't even know how far it has brought her”
“Well figure it out,” Lestat snapped.
“This is your fault, she told me all about you and your ugly ways,” George said. Tilting his head, Lestat was about to reach for him, but Louis grabbed his arm.
“He has to bring her back to us,” he reminded him.
“She is going somewhere in the 19th century, I can't pinpoint where and when. Time should be a little longer through the pod, so I’d estimate a few hours for us if it is a success”
“For us?” Louis asked.
“IF it is a success?” Lestat screamed at the same time as him. George truly didn't understand what you saw in the dramatic man, other than his good looks.
“I've been studying this for some time now and with time travel, it could feel like days, or even longer, but in reality, it should only be a few hours, and I say if because we haven't tried going to the past. The pod isn't sustainable for the undead and Y/n getting in was the first actual progress of real-time travel,” he explained.
“Maybe one of us could go in and-
“No, that is the worst solution, we don't know where she went, so I wouldn't know where to send you and it is only one pod, and overloading the database is the last thing that needs to happen, we’ll give it a few hours,” George said, standing.
“Where are you going?” Lestat asked him.
“Have a glass of wine, if it could take a few hours, I’m going to relax for a while, you're free to make yourselves comfortable,” he said, stepping out of the NBC suit, before going up the stairs.
“We just have to wait,” Louis reassured Lestat, who stood staring at the pod, unable to believe this was happening.
Tumblr media
As the pod finally stopped shaking, you peered outside at the change of setting. You were outside, Georgie nowhere to be seen. Turning on the stopwatch, you muttered an apology to him, before punching the thick glass and pushing the door open. Immediately, you recognized the familiarly different environment.
Your bare feet touching the dirt, you recognized the small, poorly built houses. You hadn't seen these houses in ages after Katrina wiped the remaining pieces away.
“Hey, what are you doing-
“You saw no one here, and you won't let anyone get near this precious contraption, now go on inside,” you glamoured the man, watching as he went back up the stairs, into the house.
Sighing, you began to leave the area, ignoring the strange stares. From the way everyone dressed, you were somewhere between the first three decades of the 19th century, and you were sticking out like a sore wearing the knee-length sundress. There was only one place you knew to go, to be sure of the date.
Coming to a complete stop in front of your home, you could see the lights on. Taking a deep breath, you reminded yourself that if they were here, this wasn't the same Louis and Lestat you were having issues with, and so you'd have to act accordingly.
Opening the door, you could hear the shuffling of feet and the sound of furniture being torn apart. Furrowing your eyebrows, you went upstairs, surprised to see them in that room. Making eye contact with Louis, he did a double take.
“Y/n,” he said, taken away by your beautiful, he hadn't seen a dress made in such a way before, shorter than average, but still classy.
Hearing your name, Lestat opened that lovely pink coffin, climbing out, and tossing the diary to the side.
“Ma chérie, you stopped for shopping?” he asked, a small smirk in place.
“Did you see her?” Louis finally asked. At a loss of words, you struggled to speak for a moment.
“I'm sorry, I'm not feeling like myself, what year is it?” you asked.
“1920, you alright?” Louis asked, approaching you.
“Look who finally decided to crawl home to her coffin and write about her psychosexual behavior,” Lestat spat.
“You read my diary?” hearing that beloved voice, your eyes began to sting.
“Only a little bit,” Louis confessed.
“I read all of it and you are a little deviant brat,” Lestat said, as you slowly turned around. The bloody tears began trickling down your cheeks, as you stared into her eyes. She was real, in the flesh, not a figment from your dreams or old photos, but was here in front of you.
“Claudia,” you said, her name flowing from your lips caused you to visibly tremble.
“Mama,” she started, concerned, her eyes widening as you rushed over, pulling her into a bone-crushing hug.
Weeping bitterly, you held her close, unwilling to let her slip away this time, whispering sweet words of love to her. Confusedly, she hugged you back, as you both sat on the floor, holding her in your arms.
While the two men were originally set on disciplining their wild daughter, their concern now shifted to you.
“Claudia, you've been reckless-
“They're buried in Chalmette,” you interrupted, Lestat, your hand comfortingly brushing over her curls.
“How do you know that?” Louis asked, but you ignored him.
“My beautiful girl,” you whispered, hugging her one last time tightly, before letting her go.
“Are you okay, mama?”
“I couldn't be better at this moment,” you reassured her, kissing her forehead.
“Let her off this time, please, for me, she's still a child, and there will be a time when we wish we still had our beautiful girl staying here with us,” you said, facing them, seeing your blood-stained face, they were beyond concerned.
“It's still a little early for bed, perhaps you'd like to play a game of chess?” you asked her, wiping your eyes and accepting her hand, as she stood up.
Going into the living room, Claudia couldn't help but think about how unusually attentive you were being. Sure, she was just as spoiled as other children, but you never stopped her from being disciplined when you all agreed she needed to be.
“Claudia, you know I love you, right?” you asked her, watching as she set up the game.
“Yes,” she nodded.
“Without you, an eternity isn't the same,” you admitted, as Lestat and Louis came downstairs, joining the two of you.
Your lovers watched you intentively, as you played the game with Claudia. Lestat noticed how you were letting her win, purposely moving to the wrong places, as she took your pieces while showering her with praises.
He couldn't put his finger on it, but something about the interaction seemed different. Any other time you played chess with her, you gave her a challenge, expressing where she was improving or where she needed work. This time, you were treating her like a little child, like you hadn't seen her in forever, or would never see her again.
Time flew and after two long rounds, Louis stood, announcing Claudia needed to go to bed. Groaning, she stood, wanting to stay longer, but you shook your head.
“It's okay, you need your beauty rest, I love you so much, sleep well,” you told her, hugging her firmly once more.
“Love you too,” she mumbled before she was stomping up the stairs.
“Are you sure you are okay, ma chérie?” Lestat asked, as soon as her bedroom door shut.
“I am, I just, the thought of one day losing her, or being apart hurts my soul, our relationship would probably never be the same,” you said, smiling sadly at him.
“Why would we never be the same?”
“Because she's our daughter, and it would take losing her to see how much she is loved, even you, she's so much like you and that's why you clash so much,” you laughed.
“Wouldn't that make us stronger?”
“I wish that was the case, but holding onto the past makes you unable to communicate like you're supposed to-
“Where is all this coming from? Talk to us, what's on your heart?” Louis asked.
“Please don't question me, but there will be a time when we are so weirdly uninterested in each other, and we try to block out our issues with reading, music, and sex,” you said.
“Why though?”
“Holding onto the past”
“Then you'd have to remind us of what is ahead and not behind,” Lestat said, leaning down, pecking your lips.
Feeling your face burn from the passionate kiss, you looked down, your eyes widening noticing your fingers faded. You have watched enough sci-fi movies with Georgie to know it was time for you to leave.
“I need to make a quick run-
“The sun will be up in another hour,” Louis told you.
“I know, I won't be long, love you both,” you said, pecking both of their lips, before running out of the house.
As you ran back to the backyard, you were surprised to see the man back outside.
“What are you doing?” you asked him, seeing as he sat on the steps, watching the pod.
“I saw some kids run back here, so I’m just watching this contraption,” he shrugged. Staring at the man, you recognized him, Georgie’s grandfather, but much younger. You had seen the few photos hanging up on the house and you identified the face quickly.
“If you had advice for a future relative, a son or grandson, what would you tell him?”
“Life gets hard, we make mistakes, and we lose people, but we have to hold onto the better part of things. I get divorced, but I was able to experience a beautiful marriage, same with children, I was fortunate to experience fatherhood”
“Beautifully said, go get some rest,” you said, glamouring him, watching as he nodded, going inside.
Carefully stepping over the broken glass, you cautiously stepped inside, shutting the door, as the fog came back, the machine lighting up, before you were gone.
Tumblr media
“Anything?”
“You just asked me that a few minutes ago, please, have some damn patience,” George said to Lestat, who was pestering him about you. The man was trying as hard as he could and Lestat did not care one bit.
Suddenly, the pod lit up, the fog coming back. Typing on the computer the door opened, before you stepped out, your feet dirty.
“I was away 6 hours and 40 minutes, how long has it been?” you asked, tossing Georgie the stopwatch.
“2 long hours, you've been crying,” Louis said, going to pull you into a hug.
“I saw her, our girl, she was perfect,” you said, feeling him stiffen in your arms before his shoulders shuttered from crying.
“What was she doing?” he asked.
“She had gotten in trouble, but I convinced you both to let it go, and we spent time together,” you said, as he smiled, nodding.
“You told her you loved her?” he asked, hopeful.
“Yes,” you nodded, as the hug tightened before he pulled away.
“And you told me something, so valuable,” you said, shifting to Lestat.
“Of course I did,” he smirked.
“You told me to remind you both of what is ahead of us and not our past,” you said, watching as he dabbed his eyes, stopping any tears on his part.
“Sounds like something I’d say, I guess,” he grinned.
“Are you ready to come home? I know you're probably exhausted from all of this?” Louis asked, grabbing your bag when you nodded.
Glancing at Georgie, who stood awkwardly waiting for you to finish with your reunion. Moving away from Lestat, you stood in front of your good friend, before pulling into a hug.
“Someone dear to you told me some valuable advice I want to share with you,” you smiled.
“Okay”
“Life gets hard, we make mistakes, and we lose people, but we have to hold onto the better part of things. Our past isn't meant to be changed, but rather we embrace the experience, both good and bad, because it shapes us into who we are. You might not be able to get your marriage back, but you could try to reach out to your children, Georgie,” you said, smiling as he teared up, agreeing with you.
“We have our own affairs to handle,” Lestat groaned, ready to leave the tiny basement.
“Shh,” Louis nudged him before you followed the two out of the house.
“Now that I think about Lestat was more charming back then, but now it's you, Louis,” you said, both of you laughing as Lestat scoffed, going on a rant about his greatness.
You missed Claudia greatly, but you had to keep moving, you all did. You still had an eternity of life, but maybe one day, just maybe, when you're reunited, she'll be where she belongs, back in your arms.

Y/n didn’t confide anything in Seungmin. She loved her brother but he was a menace. He wasn’t always but now they were adults, there was personal information she didn’t dare trust him with. Especially her interest in men.
Before he was an idol he always gave his unwanted opinion on the guys she liked or dated. After he became an idol, he still did but pretty much warded off any man for her. Including his band mates.
Y/n never would actively go after her brother's friends. If things didn’t work out, she didn’t want him to choose between family and friends. She wouldn’t do that. It was a little risky that she was one of their makeup artists and he’d helped her get the job to begin with.
But you can’t help who you end up liking. Especially when all the guys in the band were great men.
“Why are you assigned to do the old man’s makeup today?” Seungmin asked as he walked into his leaders dressing room, setting a cup of coffee down on a clear spot of her station.
“Talk to my boss about it,” Y/n shot back at her brother
Chan requested Y/n to do his makeup. Stating stay always thought he looked best when she did it for a performance but the reality was he just wanted more time with her.
Sneaking around was hard, especially when her brother was one of his little meanaces. He also felt bad he was doing it behind Seungmin’s back but who knows what god reaction would be
“Thanks for the coffee,” Y/n told him
“Whatever,” he shrugged then walked out of the room
“I would have gotten you coffee if you asked,” Chan told her, setting his phone down.
“I think it was his random act of kindness for the day because i didn’t ask him to get me one.”
     “Think he knows?” Chan asked
“You see him more than me. But we’ve never given him a reason to suspect us hooking up.” Y/n answered, “But you know him. He does random stuff all the time. I learned a long time ago to not read into it.”
Chan hummed in response as she tilted his head back a bit not to strain her back any and applied his lip. “You’re all set.” Y/n said as she finished
“Thanks. Are you still coming over tonight?” He asked her
     “Innie’s not home tonight?”
“He shouldn’t be,” Chan said.” Though that didn’t seem to be a problem last time.”
“I’m still surprised you managed to sneak me in,” Y/n laughed as he stood and stretched
“Yeah. Just need to keep you quiet,” the leader joked then left the room. Y/n rolled her eyes and sipped her coffee her brother brought him and put her brush belt together so she could do touch ups. Double checking that she had everything before heading out to the rest of the stylists.
She caught up with a few of her cop workers. She liked them— which was a great thing— and they never judged her for who her brother was but she also knew people I in the beauty industry liked to talk. Things got around so never said anything about her situationship. It also didn’t look good for a makeup artist to sleep with idols from a professional standpoint.
Y/n spent most of her time running around, dabbing sweat from the group — slapping tissues onto her brothers forehead when the camera wasn’t looking and he teased/messed with her— and fixing makeup.
She was tired at the end of the work day. Makeup was not an easy job, especially on the body. She was packing up for the day when she saw a message from Chan on her phone, the reason she bought a privacy screen.
Chan: Still up for coming over and letting me take care of you? You look pet tired
Y/n: And what would that entail👀
Chan: mmmm I was thinking maybe ordering some ramen, putting on (fav anime or show), some pillow princess treatment
Y/n: Know me so well. Just let me know when to come over
Chan: Will do
Y/n swiped out of the chat and finished packing up before heading out and going home to shower. Rinsing the day away then putting on some comfy clothes before Chan texted her it was safe to come over. She took the going  drive over then snuck up to Chan and In’s place. She texted him she was outside and the door quickly opened up, letting her in.
“He said he’ll be back in a few hours,” Chan told her
“Plenty of time then,” Y/n smiled
“Eat first. I didn’t see you have anything but coffee today.”
“Yes dad,” Y/n joked and he smiled at her.
     “Don’t start yet.”
The two sat down on the couch and Chan handed her her ramen bowl and turned on the show. Y/n smiled as they sat back together on the couch. Sometimes it felt more like a relationship with Chan but she learned overtime it was just who he was.
Chan cleaned up the food as she sat back and relaxed, a little giddy knowing what was about to come. The idol came back to the couch and gently pushed her back as his lips  attached to her neck. “Worked so hard today,” He mumbled into her neck as his hands dipped under the waistband of her lounge pants, finding she didn’t have anything under them.
Chan just chuckled and lightly bit her earlobe as his fingers spread her folds. “Gonna get yourself into a lot of trouble.”
     “Plan too,” Y/n answered
Chan smiled and pushed two of his fingers into her. Y/n curled her fingers into his hair as his lips pressed to hers. Y/n moaned into his mouth as his fingers glided in and out of her. His movements were restricted slightly by her bottoms before he moved them with his free hand and her help. He tossed the fabric to the ground.
Y/n melted as his fingers rubbed against the gummy spot inside her. Chan smiled as he continued rubbing that spot and brought his thumb to her clit.
     “Chan,” Y/n moaned
“Gonna cum for me baby? Make a mess on my fingers?”
     “Yes,” she replied
Chan simply smiled and kept his pace until that damn broke and she shook under him. He didn’t pull his fingers out of her until she came down from her high. Chan spread his fingers in front of her face before doing his fingers into her mouth. Y/n wrapped her lips around his finger’s and cleaned them off.
Chan chuckled as he pushed up her shirt, looking down at her breasts, groping one of her boobs in his free hand. He pulled his fingers out of her mouth and wiped her spit over her chest. Y/n half-smiled at him before he pulled her up and stripped her of her shirt as she did the same.
Chan reached somewhere out of her right. She watched him open the full wrapper and roll the rubber onto himself. She adjusted herself a bit before Chan stopped her. Manhandling her into the position he wanted her in before slowly pushing himself into her. Y/n moaned and grabbed the arm of the couch. Both were so entangled in what they were doing that they didn’t hear the door open or the footsteps.
Jeongin told his friends he’d be back in a few hours but the reality was his errands didn’t take that long, thankfully. But he still froze seeing the scene in their living room. Not that his leader was naked. He was very used to that, especially living with him now. What shocked him was he was balls deep in their friend's sister.
“Noona?” he questioned, thinking he was imagining things but the way they both froze and Chan looked at him confirmed it.
Frankly, he wasn’t upset nor was he going to snitch. He understood the attraction to Y/n. Hell he’d be lying to himself if he hadn’t thought about bending her over once or twice. But it seemed like a mutual agreement amongst all of them that siblings were off limits. Or he thought so.
“I thought you were gonna be out longer,” Chan said as Y/n grabbed her shirt from the ground and draped it over her chest
“Finished early,” Innie told him. “I can just go to my room. I’m not going to tell Seungmin, what you guys are doing is none of my business.”
The maknae didn’t say another word and headed to his room. “You’re the best!” He heard Y/n call before he closed his door. He felt kind he should have grabbed some food when he was out since he didn’t know how long he was going to be in his room. But he didn’t want to intrude. He was already suppressing the idea of asking to join them.
He had a small infatuation when Y/n first was hired. But he steered away when he learned that she was Seungmin’s sister. But he had practically walked into a porn and he could still hear it. Something didn’t settle well with just using his hand and eavesdropping in on his friends having sex. He also didn’t know if they were just fucking or if they were dating. But he knew closed mouths don’t get fed.
He opened his door and called out, “Can I join?”
The clapping stopped for a moment. He was about to close his door and deal with his problem himself before he heard Y/n agree. He quickly grabbed a condom and put it in his pocket before joining them.
Chan had let her choose if the youngest to join. He didn’t mind sharing but it was ultimately up to her. He smiled as he hung her head over the side of the couch as Jeongin joined them, tossing his shirt off.
Y/n watched as he said in front of her, erection pressing against his jeans. The singer undid the material and pushed it down with his boxers. Watching her mouth open as his hard cock sprung free. He grabbed the base of his cock and pumped himself a few times before sliding into her mouth. Y/n moaned around him as Chan continued thrusting into her and Jeongin filled her throat.
Jeongin leaned forward a bit and slowly thrusted in and out of her mouth. Both men reveled in the choked sounds she was making. Jeongin wrapped his hand around throat, feeling himself sliding in and out of her throat. Both men feeling her tighten up.
“She likes it rough?” Jeongin asked, applying a little more pressure
     “Yeah,” Chan answered
The two shared a thought for a moment before pulling out and flipping her around. Y/n squeaked as the adjusted her before sliding back in without a second thought, but didn’t move. She waited for a moment before Chan spanked her ass hard. She let out a moan and that made him do it again. “Fuck her stupid already, hyung?” Jeongin asked as he grabbed the back of her head
“Not my fault she goes dumb on my dick easy,” Chan laughed
Y/n looked up at the younger man, catching the siren eyes that drove their fans crazy. “Start moving.”
Y/n slowly started fucking herself between the two of them. Whenever one of them thought she could go faster or she was slowing down— or maybe because they wanted too— they’d land a harsh spank on her ass. Her pace increased as her ass held red hand marks on the flesh.
She could feel Chan twitch inside her. On the verge of filling up the condom as she clenched around him. She felt his hand grab the back of her neck and rammed himself into her. Y/n moaned as her eyes almost rolled to the back of her head. Jeongin followed his leader's lead and started thrusting into her again, holding her head steady for him to use.
Chan’s own speed picked up as he got closer and closer to his high. The moans he was so accustomed to hearing were drowned out by the second cock in her throat. He knew he could hear them any other time but he was so focused on getting to his orgasm he barely paid attention to it.
The older male cursed under his breath and gripped her neck tightly as he pushed himself into her and filled up the rubber. Jeongin focused on his own high. Her warm mouth felt better than anything he had ever imagined before. He felt like he could cum at any moment and he was right. With a few more thrust, he came down her throat. Filling the cavern with his seed before pulling out. He watched as Chan pulled out of her from behind and laid her down.
“I’ll get you a towel,” Jeongin said and pulled up his pants
Chan thanked him as he took off the condom and tied the rubber off. Jeongin disappeared down the hall and Chan tossed the condom and grabbed a cup to let Y/n spit the cum out of her mouth if she wanted to. The makeup artist spit out the cum and thanked him as the maknae came back and handed the towel to Chan.
Jeongin was never telling their friend about the situation now that he had been involved once. He went back to his room and let Chan clean her up in the bathroom before he cleaned up.
Chan had helped Y/n into the shower and helped her wash up as she laid against his chest, tired from the work day and sex. “Want me to drive you home or do you wanna stay for a little longer.”
“Can I take a little nap?” Y/n asked
“You can stay the night if you want to. It’s not like Innie doesn’t know anymore.”
“You’re right. I’m borrowing your clothes then. I don’t have anything here.”
     “That’s fine,” Chan chuckled

Part I: The Prophecy — June 25, 2011

My Mind Turns You Into Folklore: The Prophecy — June 25, 2011
Running, somehow, still made her feel like a child. Perhaps there was something unadulterated and carefree about losing yourself in the pounding of pavement. When Y/N felt the wind rush in her ears and the familiar burn throughout her body, she truly felt alive.
Her entire body ached— no, screamed— as she approached her fifth mile for the day’s session. For Y/N running wasn’t about getting to the destination fastest, but about finishing the race altogether.
She wished she could apply such wisdom to very particular aspects of her life. Namely, her love life. For Y/N, relationships with men were unpleasantly predictable. From terrible blind dates with friends who she honestly can’t tell if they meant well to men with habits so strange Y/N could only plead insanity by a drunken state as to why she entertained even a second glance. Unfortunately, for her the sea of men seemed to solely be comprised of rather the unfortunate sort of men that made her skin crawl.
Her knees burned as her mind ran through the five weddings and babies that were impending. Between cousins, college friends, and even her own sister all either, Y/N never more lonely than when she was surrounded by her people. There was something particularly voyeuristic about watching those you love move along the carousel while you’re left in the dust. She was a casual observer, marooned to the sidelines. And someone where along the way she forgot to even care.
Her chest burned as she wondered where her aunt, a woman born and forged from pure spite and hefty lack of tolerance for anything progressive, would sit her at her cousin’s wedding. Y/N heaved forward imagining what would be worse; the discarded old widow’s table with wives whose husbands’ expiration date had come and passed. Or with her unruly nephews who would have to be wrestled into a tiny tuxedo and bribed with fried food and the majesty of Red40 to maintain the semblance of civility.
Being 27, husbandless, boyfriendless, and childless didn’t usually bother Y/N. She loved her peace. But somehow it put her into this plane of existence where she straddled youth and adulthood. She had one foot jammed deep into the rich, sodden earth of childhood and one toe dipping too all too calm to be safe waters of adulthood. Yet being uncoupled was as if she purchased overnight shipping to the elephant graveyard.
It was antiquated. It was downright sexist, yet there was a small part of her heart and her entire being that craved to be taken care of by a man. She wanted someone to bring her flowers just because, to hug her from behind while she stirred soup for dinner on a chilly day, to brush her hair from her face as he brought her to the brink of pleasure time and time again.
There was only so much her vibrator could do.
But a heart that ached to be loved, that problem didn’t come with a WebMD link. There wasn’t a quick and easy fix to change something that defined her on a molecular level.
She savored the sweet breeze that reminded her of summer and childhood. The houses, various shades of blue, gray, and beige blurred past as she maintained her steady pace.
Y/N rounded the corner and pounded the pavement that led to Betsy’s Cape Cod. She was the Head Librarian and took Y/N under her rather Mother Goose-like wing three years ago when she took the position at the small, sleepy library. A suburb of Quantico, many of the patrons were families in public service.
She even stumbled across someone who quickly became her best friend, Spencer. He was some sort of former child prodigy turned adult wunderkid. After racking up more diplomas than most extended families collect, Spencer worked as a special agent for the FBI. But looking at him, you would never have guessed. He was timid and shy in a boyish way that made him seem much younger than 32. He was tall and lanky, yet despite his slender frame he seemed to completely light up every single room he walked into.
Both Betsy and Spencer buried themselves into the fabric of her life. Betsy sat on the front porch, slowly swaying on the large, wooden swing. A crocheted blanket lay over her lap, keeping her warm under the brisk morning’s chill.
“Y/N!” Betsy called, as she ascended the stairs with a bright smile, “Dearie, it’s far too cold for you to run out here.”
“I could say the same about you, Bets,”
Betsy dismissed Y/N with a coy smile and a wave of her hand. “It’s good for my old bones to get a little chill. Make sure everything is in working order.”
Betsy scooted over on the porch swing, making more than enough room for Y/N to sit.
“That tall kid? Hmm, Spencer? Yes. Spencer. Was in there looking for you yesterday. Poor kid’s entire day was ruined when I told him you were on a date. Now, is there a reason why you didn’t tell me you didn’t tell your best friend?” Betsy asked, not hesitating to ask a question that went straight for the jugular.
Y/N offered Betsy a weak smile. “There wasn’t anything to tell him. He’s not interested in my love life. We talk about books. And work. And… I don’t know…”
Betsy nodded, but her pointed look pressed Y/N to continue. There wasn’t anything romantic between her and Spencer, but that wasn’t to say the connection wasn’t the most important thing in her life. When she met him three years ago he simply waltzed into her life; a tall, gangly man with a large appetite for baked goods and an excellent taste in literature.
“Besides, he has a thing for his coworker. Even though she hardly acknowledges his existence.”
From the time she met Spencer, he constantly was talking about his teammates. Growing up, Spencer didn’t have a stable family life. His mother tried her best, while his father never tried at all. He grown up not knowing what it was like to belong anywhere and now he finally found something resembling a family.
JJ was blonde and skinny and perfect and Spencer was completely enamored with her. Y/N met her only a couple of times, the first after a football game. She shared a plate of cheese fries and gravy with Spencer’s other coworker, Penelope as Spencer attempted to spout an almanac’s worth of facts about football to JJ.
“Hmm,” Betsy murmured, swinging back and forth. “Well, he said he has to talk to you about something. Maybe he’s getting to his senses, finally.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, sipped some of the ice cold lemonade Betsy handed her, and gave her a pointed smile.
“This isn’t a romance novel, Bets. You’ve been sneaking too many of those bodice rippers.”
She stood up and felt some relief as her weary muscles stretched. Betsy waved another annoyed hand.
“Quiet down, Missy. I’ve had my chance at love. And I fully intend on you and Spencer being an item. My Arnold, may that old bastard rest in peace, never gave me children, so you and that boy are my only chance to fill this house with grandkids.”
“Oh my God, Betsy,” Y/N groaned, her head tossed back, “It’s not like that between us. And I promise you, it never will be.”
Y/N took off before Betsy had the chance to respond. But she couldn’t shake the funny feeling tugging at her heartstrings. She thought that maybe if she just focused her mind on feeling the wind blow her hair and her body burn as the third mile turned into a fifth, she could wash away the thoughts of one or two little children sitting on Betsy’s porch, sandwiched in between her and Spencer.
***
Gary, as it turned out, wasn’t a nice guy. First of all, he showed up precisely 23 and a half minutes late and hardly bothered to greet her as he sat down at their two seater table. He barked a drink order to the waitress, who graciously threw Y/N a sympathetic smile.
“So you work at Walter Reed?” Y/N asked, attempting to make conversation with the man seated in front of her. He was a couple years her senior and an Attending Emergency Room Doctor. On paper Gary seemed wonderful. He had a nice family; older sisters were always a green flag in Y/N’s book and seemed to have a basic grasp of personal hygiene practices.
Gary mumbled as the waitress brought him his drink: whisky on rocks. He downed it in about three minutes and signaled for the waitress to return.
“Sorry,” Gary apologized, his voice so close to resembling being embarrassed, but it, somewhere along the line, made a beeline in the opposite direction, “There was some bitch in the ER today complaining about how her boyfriend didn’t believe her when she told him she was pregnant. Took me a god damn hour to shut her up. Jesus, reminds me why I don’t date.”
Y/N felt her face freeze. It was like his harsh words poured ice water over her shoulders. Her skin practically crawled as Gary’s carelessness settled in. Wasn’t this a date? Or was this simply the means for Gary to get into her pants.
“Hold up,” Y/N said, gesturing with her hand held up to stop Gary’s rant, “I was under the impression this was a date. Is it not?”
Gary shrugged. “As long as there’s a happy ending with you, babe I don’t give a fuck.”
He was crass. Y/N was far from a prude. She enjoyed her time in college and didn’t mind the occasional quick one night stand when the opportunity presented itself, but there would be something completely debasing and revolting about sleeping with the man sitting before her.
“I think you’ve gotten the wrong impression.” Y/N said, her words clipped and stern: there wasn’t room for Gary to mix up any bit of her message. “I’m not looking for a fuck-buddy. And even if I was, it certainly wouldn’t be you. We’ve been sitting here for all of twelve minutes and you’ve already drank two whiskys, been rude to the waitress, insulted a patient, and offended me.”
Gary, in a lackadaisical way that could only be described as a fuckboy with the worst case of Peter Pan syndrome, shrugged his shoulders. He downed the rest of his second whisky, “You’re a frigid bitch anyway.”
He left.
And Y/N laughed. Then she ordered two slices of double chocolate cheesecake and asked the waitress where the closest liquor store was.
***
Silently, she cursed Spencer’s charming love of buildings with character. She bounded up the steps to his apartment, the plastic bag with the two slices of cheesecake banged against her leg. Her other hand clutched the neck of a cheap, screw top rose.
Her date, disastrous, was nearly comical, and she couldn’t wait to recount the details to Spencer.
They share a sort of sadistic penchant for relaying moments for their occasional first dates. Typically, Y/N had more than Spencer. On the rare occasion Spencer did have a date, Y/N found herself trying to explain that any girl in her right mind would attempt to flirt with Spencer, but he refused to see her points.
Not bothering to knock, Y/N opted to use the spare key Spencer gave her. She figured he’d either still be working at the office or would be too engrossed in his latest fantasy novel to bother answering the door.
Spencer’s apartment was painted a dusty, sage green. The farthest wall was lined with built-in bookshelves. A prewar relic, Spencer’s style mixed perfectly with the vintage quality embedded within the walls.
Up until recently, Spencer’s kitchen was hardly used. But Y/N had taken it upon herself to teach Spencer the basics in prepping meals. He was a quick study, as with almost everything he tried. And it gave her some peace knowing he would be able to provide himself something more satiating than granola bars and frozen lasagna.
“Spencer! Spence!” Y/N called out, dipping her head into Spencer’s second bedroom. There was a queen bed in there with a cream colored quilt splashed out on the bed.
On late nights spent watching old, black and white movies or binging episodes of The Twilight Zone and The X-Files, she would crash there. It was a fight for her to even concede to allow Spencer to purchase the queen bed. Y/N claimed that she was fine just sleeping on the couch, but Spencer insisted that she sleep in a bed.
And if Y/N had been born into a braver soul, she would’ve suggested they share his bed three years ago.
Spencer shuffled out of his bathroom, eyes red and weary. He wore a tattered Cal-Tech shirt and plaid pajama pants. He wore his glasses. They rested on the bridge of his nose and made him lose at least four or five years on his already young looking face.
“She’s pregnant.”
“I brought wine. And chocolate cheesecake.” Y/N replied, kicking her shoes off. “And you better have done laundry already because I am not sleeping in this dress. I feel ridiculous in it.”
Spencer’s eyes raked over Y/N’s frame, as if he was internally debating his thoughts on her outfit. His brow furrowed. “You’re date?”
“Asshole.” Y/N said, walking into the kitchen. She plucked two wine glasses from Spencer’s cabinet and two plates. “Arrogant and only wanted a quick fuck.”
His voice disappeared as he went into his room for a change of pajamas. They were freshly washed. She continued to listen to Spencer as she shut the bathroom door and changed behind. His voice was no longer muffled when she came out of the bathroom, but she did notice how Spencer’s eyes still were heavy with something unfamiliar when he looked over her baggy, old pajama-clad frame.
“You’re not the girl for that.” Spencer commented, reaching for the corkscrew. His large hands twisted around the device and the bottle of wine made a satisfying pop.
“You don’t know that.” Y/N countered, her defiance made a crop of red appear on Spencer’s cheeks. “Besides, that’s not the point. JJ’s pregnant. With that New Orleans guy’s baby?”
He nodded. It was as if grief washed over Spencer as Y/N changed the conversation. She knew that Spencer was harboring feelings for JJ. Jennifer was nearly perfect in every way. The only imperfect thing about her was that she didn’t realize how perfect Spencer was. He would’ve adored JJ if he got the chance. He nearly did.
“And how do you feel about that?”
Spencer groaned, pouring himself a healthy cup of rosé. “Unsure. It’s not like I’m going to confront her about this. She’s practically engaged to Will. And now there’s a baby in the picture? A baby who’s very well going to grow up seeing me as Uncle Spencer.”
He sounded exhausted. Y/N touched his hand and squeezed. She understood the pained loneliness that plagued Spencer’s voice. “I don’t love JJ anymore. It’s just, my whole life I felt like I was so far beyond my peers. And now? They all finally have caught up, this time the tables have turned. God, I’m excited when a girl smiles at me, let alone goes on a date with me.”
Weakly, Y/N smiled. She sipped her rose, “So it’s more of feeling like you’re far beyond in life? Despite having two PhDs and like three undergrad degrees? You’re one of the most accomplished men I know, Spencer. And we all move along at our own pace. Don’t compare JJ’s story to yours.”
He nodded, spooning a bite of the double chocolate cheesecake. “It’s just…I’m nearly 32. And now I’m watching JJ and Hotch and Morgan talk about babies and husbands and wives and houses. And I can’t help but wonder if I’ll be lucky enough to get that one day. Sometimes… I think I’m too me for anyone to fall in love with me.”
Y/N felt her heart shatter into a million little pieces as Spencer’s honest confession striked her entire system. She wanted to reach out and push away the stray curl that hooked itself in front of his eyebrow. She wanted to reach out and wipe away his tears. She wanted to tell her friend that if no one married him, she would.
She stalked off the to couch, needing a stable place to sit. Her chocolate cheesecake stuck to the roof of her mouth and the bitter rosé did nothing to remove it.
“Holy shit, Spencer. Do you not realize that you’d make any girl happy? You’ll find her one day, I know it. And if you don’t, we can just say fuck it and get married. I mean, I know it wouldn’t be romantic love, but we could at least live together. Through a big fancy party and get dressed up nice and getting drunk on mojitos with my best friend. My person? Sounds fun.”
“You mean that?” Spencer asked, half in disbelief and half in wonderment. “You mean that we’ll get married if neither of us have someone…say seven years from now?”
She must’ve drank more than she thought as she waited for Gary to ruin their date. “I meant it. But why seven?”
A smile toyed on Spencer lips. She noticed the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled.
“It’s my lucky number.”
Her lips were so loose that it threatened to crack open her heart. She had a nasty habit of wearing that on her sleeve.
She gave Spencer a sheepish look as his eyes met hers. He looked half between incredulous and hopeful. His fingers ran across the rim of his wine glass as the wine sloshed around. It mirrored Y/N’s stomach.
“Is this idea like bad shit crazy?” Y/N asked. “I mean it. I mean, why not. It’s not so different from what we do now. Just all the time. And I’d be thrilled to be spiritually required to spend more time with you.”
“Should we….shake hands or something. I’m not the biggest fan of that, but I think my wife would serve as an exception to the rule. To every rule I’ve got?”
Y/N laughed. She felt the wine creep up a nice, warm flush against her skin. It matched the light and easy way her limbs felt. It might have very well been the wine, but there wasn’t much of anything that could trump laughing with your best friend. Especially when that best friend slipped and called you his wife.
Her feet somehow ended up in Spencer’s lap. His thumb rubbed gently against her ankle, barely touching her bare skin. Yet it sent shockwaves that she didn’t quite understand.
The corners of Spencer’s eyes crinkled as he reciprocated that laugh. They shared it and Y/N had the strangest desire to bottle it up. She wanted to store this moment in her mind and come back to it. One day. Some day.
“We’ll get married,” Spencer started speaking as if it was a prophecy that he could set in stone, “if neither of us has anyone, we’ll enter this rather odd, rather complex, yet completely entirely normal and simple marriage in seven years?” His sweet, yet coy smile was boyish, it only reminded Y/N just how far away 35 was for her.
“Should we draft up a contract?”
“Have your lawyers contact my lawyers. I never sign documents without the proper legal support. In the meantime, could we settle on our first stipulation: never watching a new episode of our current favorite show without the other?”
“I agree to the terms and conditions you’ve set out.” Y/N said. She grabbed the blanket that rested on the back of the couch as Spencer turned off the lamp light.
“Oh and I washed the sheets in your room. I used the detergent you like. And your pajamas. The lavender vanilla one with the scent beads?” He flipped on an episode of The Twilight Zone.
She smiled from the way Spencer naturally called the guest room her bedroom. There was something very domestic and peaceful about him using her favorite detergent to wash the sheets in her room in his apartment. It resembled the exact something that she was craving: being taken care of.
She sipped her rose again, watching as her friend smiled at the gray scale painted on the screen. It was too bad she only had to weight over half a decade to feel it and not feel guilty and like she was lying to herself.

coffee. l Joel Miller
Tumblr media
Summary:  jealousy tastes like coffee
Warnings:  angst, but not much, fluff, some swearing, Ellie is annoying; some sexual innuendo for Joel
A/N: be gentle with me. your feedback is very important to me and I thank you for all the reblogs, comments and likes. 🖤 sorry for all the mistakes
short stories from life. [masterlist]
"This shit is awful!"
"Ellie! Do you have to make everything disgusting to me?"
"It's not my fault! You brought this home yourself. Don't expect me to pretend I like it!" the girl pushed the coffee mug away from her and rested her chin on hand "Where did you even get this?"
You poured the ground coffee out of the small grinder and carefully put it into the old coffee machine that Joel had recently managed to fix. The machine made a quiet humming sound.
"Collin gave it to me." you replied without taking your eyes off the machine "They got it in the last supplies."
"Oh, I see." Ellie sighed, clearly interested "You mean that guy who's making goo-goo eyes at you?"
"Shut up!" you hissed, but you felt your ears go red. "He just likes me."
"Yeah, for sure."
Heavy footsteps on the stairs stopped you from swatting Ellie with the cloth you had in your hand. You were excited, you couldn't wait to see Joel's face when you put a cup of freshly ground coffee in front of him.
"What smells so good?" he mumbled, still slightly hoarse as he entered the kitchen. "Is that coffee?"
The coffee machine spat out the last few drops of the black liquid and you happily put a cup of the steaming drink in front of him. Joel looked at it in surprise. He was still sleepy as he ran his fingers through his hair, making an even bigger mess on his head. His dark eyes widened with interest.
"Where did you get that?" he asked, looking at you with a smile.
"Tell him!" Ellie added quickly, and you gave her a murderous look.
"Tell him what?"
"Shut up, Ellie." you hissed, but Joel was already looking at you suspiciously.
The girl leaned back in her chair slightly, to a safe distance where you couldn't reach her, and grinned.
"Collin gave it to her." she said "You know, the one from the store. His eyes are always glued to her. I think he thought she would make him that coffee in the morning after…."
"You little..."
Joel, who was turning the cup over and over in his hands, slowly put it on the table. Suddenly the cup of coffee became the main problem in your house.
"Joel, don't be ridiculous!" you laughed to hide your embarrassment "You've been saying for days that you dream of coffee. You even fixed the coffee machine!"
"Naah, I don't feel like it." he muttered.
You looked at him in surprise. You felt as if Joel and Ellie were suddenly standing in opposition to you, and the subject of the conflict was the unfortunate coffee. This was crazy!
"Collin isn't hitting on me at all!" you declared, slapping the table with a cloth, and Ellie jumped with excitement "Stop talking nonsense!"
"Last week you got two jars of strawberry jam from him, remember?" Ellie reminded you with satisfaction, Joel nodded.
"Fuck! Seriously?" you looked at Joel reproachfully.
Miller didn't answer your question, only mumbled that he had a job at the stables and left you with Ellie, who seemed delighted with the chaos she caused.
"I think he's jealous." she stated as the door to the house slammed after a few minutes.
The whole day you were not satisfied with your morning conversation in the kitchen. As you could expect such behavior from Ellie, Joel was a grown man. You finished your duties with the intention of talking to him and explaining everything.
Collin was just your friend, you had no deeper feelings for him beyond simple sympathy. And jealousy was nothing normal in this situation. Because why would it appear at all, right?
You entered the stable and from a distance you noticed Joel cleaning the chestnut mare, which he liked very much. The footsteps were clearly audible, but he decided to ignore you, as you thought.
"Hi." you choked out, approaching him. "Do you wanna talk?"
"Not really." he replied, not stopping working.
"Okay, so I'll do the talking." you said "Joel, this is stupid. We can't have quiet days because of a cup of coffee. We're friends, right? Are you going to get all huffy every time I bring something home?"
"Depends if the guy is clingy to you." he replied quietly, and you rolled your eyes.
"Collin is not clingy to me." you pronounced each word clearly, so that he would definitely get it "Are you really going to listen to a teenager! Ellie has been teasing me all morning and you got mad at me like some brat! Are you really jealous?"
"That's not... Fuck! That's not what I mean!"
He finally turned to you and looked you in the face. The eyebrows were furrowed and his body was tense. The whole situation would have been even funny if you weren't both so worked up.
"I don't like it when some guys give you something because then they'll want something in return." he said sharply "That's how it works! Nobody does anything for free."
You folded your arms across your chest and glared at him defiantly. "Really?" you asked. "What did you want from me when you fixed my dresser door, huh?"
"I didn't... Shit! It's not fair and you know it! You know I'd never..."
"Listen, Joel." you said, pointing a warning finger at him. "I didn't say anything when Mrs. Jones asked you to take a look at her electric heater because... How did she say it? She needed a good warm-up." Joel gulped, clearly confused. "Another woman wanted you to replace some boards in her bed and make sure she was safe there. And one of Ellie's teachers..."
"That's enough!" Joel interrupted you, and you could barely hold back a laugh. "I get it! Okay? I made a fool of myself."
He looked a bit like a scolded puppy. You had been friends for a long time and this kind of conversation between you shouldn't have happened at all. There was never a situation where you were the one who got mad at him for doing something for someone.
"That was kind of sweet." You stated, shrugging. "Too bad the coffee got cold."
He nodded. He put down the brush he was using to brush his horse and grabbed the bridle to lead him to his place.
"You know, all those women... Fuck. Do you really think they were flirting with me?"
"Would you like to charge different fees now, Miller?" You snorted. "Yeah, they really were trying to flirt with you."
Joel cleared his throat and closed the stall. He thought about something for a moment, then looked at you and asked.
"Do you have anything I could fix? As compensation for the fact that this whole situation even happened." He said. "Maybe you have something that moves, or is too loose?"
"You know..." you thought for a moment. "Not really. Maybe not moving or loose, but…tight."
"Tight?" he was surprised and for a moment you saw in his eyes as his brain tried to understand your allusion.
You slowly moved towards the exit. "Yeah, Joel. Tight. Something very tight."
You threw him a quick look the moment your words finally sunk in. His eyes widened as he understood.
"Are you flirting with me? Fuck! Stay!"
You left the stable with a wide smile on your lips. Your revenge tasted like coffee.
☆☆☆
Thank you for your time.

Familiar- Eric Northman x witch!y/n
Just a small Eric x y/n oneshot that I couldn't get out of my mind as I'm watching True Blood for the first time. Hopefully more to come as I finish watching it...
Tumblr media
My hand had started cramping with the effort of the continuous stirring of my cauldron. My most recent calming potion was in a particularly tricky phase and I certainly didn’t want to have to start over. The shimmering fumes coming off of the cauldron spiraled around my head and the condensation beaded against my eyelashes. Between the floral smell of the potion, the flickering candle light, and the summer heat, my head started to feel heavy and I literally had to fight with my eyelids to keep me awake so I could continue stirring.
Once the stirring pattern was complete, I lowered the gas on the stove and ran a hand over my burning eyes. The potion had to simmer for a few minutes before the next steps and I desperately needed to sit down.
Before I could even take a step the hairs prickled on my neck as I felt eyes on me. This wasn’t like the spirits I often felt around the area, these were actual, physical eyes. I stilled, closing my eyes and sensing around me before opening them a moment later,  my body immediately relaxing as I recognized the scent wafting through my back door. “It’s rude to linger in doorways, Eric,” I said, turning around to stare at the tall Viking leaning against the open door.
He smirked, sending my heart into flutters. Any idiot could see that Eric Northman was a good looking man. Gorgeous even. As a human and a vampire, especially when the paleness brought out the blue of his already striking eyes. Usually witches and vamps stayed away from each other. But the area around Bon Temps was only so big and the supernatural circles were pretty small.
“I’m not lingering. I’m just waiting to be invited in,” he said, running his hands along the door jamb.
I chuckled, turning around to fill up my kettle. “You know you don’t need to be invited in, Eric.” The vampire had been coming over weekly for a few months now. The first time I had invited him in was when we were both dealing with the typical drama around Bon Temps and he thought I needed protection. After that, he started showing up on random nights. He was like a stray cat, coming and going as he pleased.
“Well, I wouldn’t want you to think I was being rude,” He said, strolling in through my back door and pulling one of the kitchen chairs out. He sat on it backwards, his hands draped over the back of the chair and his head resting on his arms, watching me as I mill about the kitchen making tea.
“You? Nobody could ever mistake you as rude,” I said, pulling down my favorite mug from the cabinet. He chuckled but didn’t answer. I looked back and was met with the familiar sight of him sitting in my chair, watching me. It had become quite a habit of his it seemed. Most nights he didn’t say anything, and I sat in his comfortable silence, working on whatever project was keeping my hands busy.
I poured my tea and pulled out a kitchen chair, sitting across from Eric. We didn’t say anything for a few minutes. I just sat and watched him as he looked around my kitchen. I followed his gaze, getting lost in my little kitchen. It wasn’t much. I had found a small farmhouse for sale that was over 100 years old. With how long I had been alive, money wasn’t much of a problem. I fixed up the house with a few modern touches but it wasn’t anything crazy. I had kept the kitchen large but simple. Green cabinets with wooden counter tops, little trinkets, cook and spell books, brass pots and pans. And of course the dozens of bulks of drying herbs, cauldrons of various sizes, and candles on every available surface. Despite modern times, I had always preferred candle light over artificial.
Keeping my kitchen stocked was always important for my business. I had become Bon Temps resident healer. The people were skeptical at first, and most probably didn’t realize I was an actual witch. The potions and charms I made and sold could be considered healers work - natural remedies to most common ailments. I knew my clientele and didn’t charge an arm and a leg for medicines. This kept orders from the townfolk very steady, along with a steady income. i had always taken great pride in my work and craft, and with the sprawling gardens I had to upkeep for my ingredients.
My wandering eyes went back to the vampire in my kitchen, and I was a little startled when the shocking blue eyes were already looking at mine. I slowly smiled before sipping my tea. Eric mirrored my smile and the sight almost took my breath away and made my chest flutter again.
“Can I ask you something?” I murmured around the lip of the mug. Eric nodded, the smile still on his face. “Why do you keep coming here?”
The smile left his face and something was in his eyes that I couldn’t quite place. “Do you not like me coming here?”
“No, I do,” I said, pulling my knees up to my chest and wrapping my arms around them. “I just don’t understand,” I trailed off. Quite frankly, I loved the quiet nights featuring Eric’s company and I was often disappointed on the nights he didn't come by. I was always shown a softer side of him that I felt most people very rarely got a chance to see.
He looked around the room, almost like he was unsure before settling his eyes back on me. “You’re familiar.” He didn’t say anything when I raised my eyebrows questioningly at him. It was another minute before he spoke. “The smell of your kitchen, the herbs, the candlelight, it reminds me of home. Of my human life.” I had no idea what to say to that. I kept staring at him and he did the same.
“Oh,” I mumbled. I didn’t even know what to say. The thought of bringing him that sense of comfort was…well, I didn’t even know what word to use to describe the warmth that settled in my chest.
“You, calm me. Honestly in ways I didn’t know I could be anymore,” he continued. He stared into the fire and seemed to get lost in thought.
We sat in silence for about ten more minutes, both of us lost in thought. “Do you ever miss the cold?” I blurted out.
“What?” He asked. He didn’t seem annoyed, just genuinely curious.
“The cold. I grew up in the north and I miss genuine winters so much. It’s always so hot here all the time. It never snows, their version of cold is like, 70 degrees, and I have boxes of sweaters just going to waste.” As I rambled, the smile on Eric’s face got bigger and bigger until it stretched his face. “What?” I laughed.
“I do miss the cold. Very much,” he finally said, shaking his head. I chuckled, and took another sip of my tea.
“Eric, you know I don’t mind you coming over. You’re always welcome here.” I said standing up and putting my hand on his shoulder.
He stared at me before grabbing my hand and lightly kissing the back of it. “Thank you, Y/N.”
I could feel the blush creeping up my neck and into my cheeks. Eric’s eyes followed the trail of color and he smiled again. I had to look away from his piercing eyes before I melted on the spot. My eyes caught my cauldron on the stove and I jumped.
“My potion!” I said rushing over to the stove and adding the few ingredients I needed. I don’t know how long I worked on it, before I remembered Eric’s presence. I looked back, and he was in the same spot, staring at me with an incredibly soft look on his face. I smiled, and turned back to the stove, not minding the Vikings presence in my kitchen. And hoping that his visits became a more regular occurrence.

♡ - After Sonia's death Johnny was lonely and a little too mentally shaken, Cassie was living her own life - even though he was still her father, she needed her own time to work and meet new people, unfortunately, the man It became increasingly lonely, so he decided to use some old contacts and discover the 'sugar daddy' concept - he would be reluctant at first when using the site, he clicked through several profiles, until he found yours - which caught his attention practically immediately, your beauty and interests, you seemed like a great company for him, and he stayed for approximately an hour asking if he should call you in the chatbox or not, he looked more like a scared teenager than a 50+ year old ex Hollywood actor.
♡ - But he took courage and finally started a chat with you - and to his relief, you were an extremely sweet and friendly person to him, the poor man had all his hopes up, you stayed talking for hours, in calls and text messages. Cage really wanted to meet you soon, but you wanted a little more time for both of you to get to know each other better. He would be a little impatient about having to wait a few weeks to take you to dinner, but finally, you agreed to go with him, and he was definitely very nervous.
♡ - Johnny chose the best suit he had, accentuating his muscles and applying a perfume with a strong citrus essence, fixing his hair with gel and proudly showing off the side gray strands that insisted on appearing more every day - not that he cared, after all, he knew you were a hot dilf - he bought the best limousine he could get and met you at the restaurant door; He had brought a bouquet of flowers, your favorites - he wrote down everything the two of you talked about, and all your likes and dislikes, it wasn't that difficult to get your favorite color right. "-You're even more beautiful in person (Y/N)... I hope we get along well tonight." Johnny said smiling as he offered you the gift, you could see the slight blush on his face but he looked away, taking you inside the luxurious restaurant - which he rented that night just for the two of you -
♡ - Dinner was going well, but Johnny was trying to control himself as much as possible. You were a beautiful person, your smile lit up the darkest corners of the fighter's soul, you even showed solidarity when he spoke about his wife's death, placing your hands on top of his, in a gesture of support and half a dozen sincere words and kind... That made Johnny smile for the first time in lonely years. The problem was also focusing on being a gentleman, his dick was pulsing and it was sore in his pants, damn, he really wanted to have a romantic dinner and not have sex on the first date, but with every sweet look you gave him, he made the older man feels his own shaft getting harder. He quickly pushed those thoughts away - especially the ones that projected images created of you sitting on his dick, with his hands wrapped around your neck - and focused on making your night good and enjoyable, and yes, obviously he's going to pay the bill. dinner regardless of your protests, he wants to treat you like a prince/princess, but luckily for you, he was a man who gave in to desires very quickly.
♡ - Johnny guided you to the limo - opening the door for you, he gestured for you to enter first, before entering himself. The interior was lavishly decorated with luxurious seating, a stocked bar, and a huge TV screen mounted to the ceiling - it all started with innocent, shy touches, but anticipation and desire hung in the air between the two of you, the movie star's voice rising. mixed with the wine you were drinking, while Cage's warm, veiny hand found your thigh, massaging it lightly with circular movements, then, as you talked again about the terms of the 'suck' relationship, you cheekily called him "daddy" and that was the end of Johnny's sanity. Reaching out, he grabbed his wrist and pulled it tightly towards his hardened member, pressing into his pants. "-Do you feel how eager I am for you? Fuck baby... I really wanted to be a gentleman, but you drive me crazy, do you want that too? I swear I won't force you into anything." And when you agreed, he just grunted in response as he ordered the driver to speed up and close the access window between you and the front of the limo.
♡ - Johnny pulled your clothes down in one quick movement, revealing your chubby and shaved pussy to his hungry eyes. It was even more perfect than he imagined – tight and begging for attention. "-You're mine now, baby boy/baby girl.." he moaned softly, his breath hot against your flushed skin. As if reading your mind, he pulled out his own cock from his pants, letting it spring free—a thick, veiny member coated in precum, ready for action. "-Now, spread your legs wider for me dear, open that pussy wide for daddy..." he commanded gruffly, his eyes ablaze with lust. The limo rocked back and forth on its suspension as he pounded into you relentlessly, his large hands firmly gripping the seats above your head.
♡ - That was your first date and your first sex, even though you insisted that he didn't need to give you gifts after sex, he insisted again - and this also happened after the first date, with Johnny cumming between your breasts and then you giving a kiss on the forehead and a swarovski emerald necklace, with a satisfied and even probably passionate smile on his face. His gifts are very expensive, if you want an imported car he will buy it for you right away, if you want to go to a parade on the other side of the world for a brand you like... He will find a way to put you in front row and with enough money in your account for you to buy more than enough exclusive pieces, the most futile luxury he could give you. But in the end, what he really wanted was your company, he wanted your affection and nights of laughter and silly conversations together while jazz played in the background of his mansion, maybe some slow, lazy sex after a long day, with him listening your moans and high-pitched squeals in his ear.
♡ - He is a very sexually active man, so expect to fuck him in various positions, some of them being: 'Bandoleer', 'The Grip', 'Afternoon Delight', 'The Clasp', 'The Curled Angel', 'The Plow', 'The Snail'. Johnny also has daddykink - so he will always want you to call him 'daddy' or 'my lord' or any power nickname, he will praise you while he fucks your pussy, especially if you ride on his face moaning and getting a dumb, trembling mess of pleasure because of him. "-Yes baby- fuck- no no, you're not going to cum yet ok? That was our agreement my angel, you're only going to cum when daddy lets you, otherwise I won't give you my card this weekend.." He would moan loudly against your clit, making you squirt on his face and making him cum without even penetrating you, staining the sheets of semen beneath both of you. "-Holy Fuck- boy/girl... You know daddy is going to punish you now, don't you?"
♡ - He spreads money notes on the mattress, a proof of how much he can spend monetarily on you, how powerful he is, while sticking his thick shaft in your holes "-Is that what you like little slut? Being my whore? My exclusive whore." - anal is also included, Johnny will buy anal plugs/vibrators and force you to go to dinners and events with the sex toys inside you controlling every high or medium vibration in your body, whispering dirty talk in your ear. "-Beg me to take that vibrator out of your little dear hole... And maybe I can fuck you right here." This would end with him thrusting into you once again inside the bathroom where the event was taking place, grabbing your face tightly and forcing you to look in the mirror, while his balls hit your clit painfully. "-Look at yourself honey, see how daddy Johnny can destroy that pretty pussy" a slap was given hard to your ass, making you arch even more towards him. "-Take all of this, like the good boy/good girl you are."
♡ - Johnny also loves blowjobs, especially in semi-public places, every time you guys go to buy you some clothes... It ends with you kneeling in front of him, with dollar bills spread across your cleavage while he recorded every gag you made it hit his member. "-Smile for the camera little prince/princess, you look beautiful while sucking my dick like a desperate slut." He would definitely cum on your face and take a photo to put on your wallpaper, in addition to spoiling you like hell that day. But aside from the sex and shopping and luxuries - Johnny really liked you, he really fell in love with you beyond being a sugar baby and a sugar daddy - and you could see it in his eyes every time you hugged each other and lay in the pleasant silence of the night. However, he was too afraid of expressing himself and ruining everything... Just keeping track of your sugar daddy for a long time, maybe, someday he would have the courage to tell you his true feelings for you.

Chapter XI: TIEBREAK
Masterlist
Pairing: Art Donaldson x F!Reader, Art Donaldson x Tashi Donaldson.
Warnings: Angst, discussion of miscarriage and women's reproductive health problems.
Author's Note: I'm so so so sorry for being late for one week and three hours ohmygod. I barely have time to write as is because of my work schedule, which has taken over my life in a way that exhausts me every day. This is far from my best chapter, and I'm so so sorry for that.

2019. New Rochelle.
Your eyes locked from the distance, and you realized it didn't hurt as much anymore when you looked at him. At the time of the unexpected run-in with Art in the elevator, old memories and long-buried pains came rushing back like tidal waves, reminding you that there used to be a time when the mere mention of his name would pull a reaction from you, the kind that was nestled deep in your guts and painful as its exterior would lacerate your insides as you tried to expel it. Now, being in this proximity with Art, there was only a dull ache. His gaze followed your every movement, burning hot on your skin as you approached him. When he settled down from across the table, you allowed your eyes to fully drink him in, to note the small changes that the brief exchange two days ago didn’t allow you to.
An abstract shadow cast on his face, shading in the sharp angles of his features, turning his boyish charm into the contemplative man sitting before you. He looked great, still, but he didn't look happier when he had every reason to be. The familiar yearning for the man you loved so much that you were willing to look the other way when the warning signs flared their signals tugged at your heartstrings, but you knew better now than you did thirteen years ago. Art was the baggage that took a long time to shed, the heartbreak that took a long time to recover from.
As much as you wanted to blame Art for ruining other men for you, but you knew you weren't innocent in this game of two. You couldn't bring yourself to commit to the few men you dated over the years before giving up dating entirely after a painful engagement. Your failure in relationships that came after Art was not a reflection of how you were still caught up in him. It was the way you loved like there was an expiry date to the love you gave.
You weren’t hungry and didn’t feel like eating, but you ordered an appetizer anyway. Art did the same, casually said to you after the waitress dropped off your drinks and went away with your food order.
“We can share.”
He had said it so casually. You didn’t correct him. The two of you took the time to observe each other in a comfortable silence before Art disrupted it.
“How have you been?”
“I’m doing good. My career took off.”
Just like you said. But you didn’t say that part out loud.
“So I’ve heard. I see your name everywhere.”
“It can be annoying, can’t it?”
You said, tongue in cheek.
“Never.”
A simple word, accompanied by a bright smile, yet you couldn't help but feel bashful at the undeniable pride that he radiated. It felt genuine, more than the time your parents demanded to see you in San Francisco. All of a sudden, as your book's sales kept climbing up and up, no distance was too much to drive for your parents. At a high-scale restaurant of their choosing, they swooned over your brilliance and told you how proud they were, that they knew you would succeed. You owed them your success, they said, since they brought you up and you wouldn't be here without them. They admitted none of the abuse, and they congratulated themselves on their talented daughter. Your dad eagerly asked about the money, and unashamedly rewarded himself and your mother a bonus from your royalties. To fix up the house, he said, and they needed a new car so they didn't have to drive the old thing that could croak any day. You only nodded, feeling numbness spread all over your senses and body like a self-defence mechanism. You ended up paying for the meal, telling them that they needed to contact your accountant for what they wanted. Knowing June, the accountant of your trusted team, she would die before giving your parents a penny.
On your part, after that day, you decided not to entertain them any longer. You chose to protect yourself, and that meant going radio silent on their calls and texts. Every once in a while, you would receive demanding messages, asking for compensation. None of them received an answer.
Art interrupted your train of thought.
“But how are you really doing? Are you still with–”
You shook your head quickly and cut him off.
“Same old. How about you?”
Your fingers ran over your naked ring finger almost in defence. Art could see your attempt at a distraction and he allowed it to slip past.
"I'm just … alright."
"Come on. You’re doing more than just alright for yourself."
He huffed, and its bitterness wasn't lost on you.
“Not as well as Tashi would like me to.”
You hummed, taking a sip of your soda.
“I could tell as much judging by what you told me at the hotel.”
Art offered a self-deprecating smile and said nothing. He said thanks to the waitress as she settled the trays of entries down. Neither of you was in a hurry to take a bite. You leaned back on the leather seat, barely concealing a weary sigh.
“What am I doing here, Art? If it’s to listen to your marriage problems, then I don’t think I’m equipped for that kind of task.”
“I don't expect you to do that."
He tapped on the glass of water distractedly, seeming to consider his words.
"I just want to tell you that you were right.”
“About what?”
“About Tashi.”
“What do you mean?”
“It was the truth, it always has been. Especially now. What you said about her.”
Your eyes widened as you realized what he was talking about. The fight between you before you broke up for good. You still remembered how you said Tashi was only using him. You dipped your head, feeling shame crawl to your cheeks.
“Look, it wasn’t my best moment, and I was harsh. I don’t know Tashi enough to talk about her like that.”
“But you were right. I just … didn’t think about it in the way you framed it. Her living through me because she couldn’t play. I ignored it because she made me a better player. For the longest time, I was okay with it."
You stayed quiet, watching as Art worked through the inner monologue in his head. Art didn't look at you, staring at the untouched plates of food instead, while his hand played with the straw wrapper. You had a feeling that he wasn't quite done.
"And then, I started to see … it. I can't remember a day that she didn't talk about tennis. The way she’s only happy when I win. She would reprimand me if I didn’t apply her guidance at times. I thought I could make her happy if I could be the person she wanted me to be. Still, I could feel it. Her resentment."
He swallowed before kept going.
“It was worse after my injury. I recovered from it, and she didn't. I think Tashi resents me for that as well. I’m still playing for the both of us, years later.”
You let the weight of his confession settle in. His shoulders slightly sagged, and you couldn't help but think about how he probably couldn't talk about this to anyone.
“Art, if you’re really unhappy, you can walk away. You know that.”
“I know, but we’ve been together for so long. It's not easy.”
You knew that feeling all too well. But that was where your difference split. You knew there was no point in delaying the inevitable.
“Why are you telling me all of this?”
Art looked at you, pondering over your question. A sad smile deepened in his frown lines.
“I thought I could talk to you, as a friend.”
“It sounds like you want something more.”
He licked his lips, contemplating his words.
“What if I did?”
You sighed, feeling memories of the past flapped their wings, overlapping with the present.
“What do you want me to say, Art? That I still love you and I want to run away with you? That's not who I am, and that’s not who you are, either. Deep down, you’re devoted to Tashi and your family. Look at you. You'll sacrifice your own happiness if that means your family can stay together. If it means staying with your wife even though you know she hates you. You’re not going to leave her.”
You knew that deep down because when he was with you, he yearned for Tashi. A part of him wanted Patrick, too, but it went unspoken due to the rivalry Tashi inspired. Yet, here he was, in this dimly lit restaurant, looking at you like you held the key to his heart, and if you said the words, he wouldn’t even question them. If you asked, he would leave this place with you.
“Sometimes, I wonder what my life would be like if we were still together. I will be happier. Would we have our own family? A little boy, or girl …”
His words rattled you to the bones. You grabbed your drink and took a large sip. All of a sudden, you were the one that couldn't look at him, while Art was on the opposite. His eyes on you were electrifying one moment, and intruding the next. He could see something was off in the way you went completely silent. You only realized that you hadn't said anything for a long moment, until Art softly called your name. You swallowed the lump in your throat that wouldn't go away, trying to find the words that you barely used outside of therapy sessions and many phone calls with your sister.
“I can't– I couldn't have given you what you have now. Maybe a nice house. But not a family."
You took a steadying breath.
"I’m … I have … endometriosis.”
You received the diagnosis a little while after your engagement to Isaac, your now ex-fiancé. After over a year of dating, when things had been serious between you two for a long time, he expressed his want to have kids. You didn't want any and were firm on the matter. But Isaac was nothing if not a sweet talker with a sharp silver tongue. He made the idea of having kids sound easy. Even heavenly. Your book sale was better than good and with Isaac's rich background, you were more than comfortable to have a kid. You decided to go for it. The first positive pregnancy test came with a proposal from Isaac shortly after. You were nervous but happy, and Felix always looked at you like you were his golden ticket. That statement turned out to be true, you couldn't help but laugh at the irony when you realized it later on.
The miscarriage happened just almost a month after you found out that you were pregnant. Recovery was tough, and after running some tests, the doctor told you that you had endometriosis. Some things started to make sense. The painful cramps, nausea and prolonged fatigue. The nights spent upright in your bathtub and bedroom floor because you didn’t want to puke or bleed on your beddings. Isaac was pensive when the doctor broke the news, and his first question was if you could still get pregnant. The doctor responded with methods and treatments you could follow. But you didn't care for any of that anymore. The pain was all you could think about, its haunting memories plagued your mind. Your heart went completely numb when the searing pain took your breath away as you crouched on the floor of your bathroom. You could never forget the searing pain that sucked the air from your lungs as you collapsed to the floor of your bathroom, the sight of your clothes after you took them off. The bloody mess soaked through the materials and stained the white marble floor seared into your eyes while your heart pounded in your chest, knowing that something had gone very wrong. You needed time to recover, and possibly rethink the idea of having kids. But, Isaac, only a few days after you came back from the hospital, brought up many different sources and pamphlets and ideas on how he wanted to try different methods for kids right away. But you didn't want to. You didn't want to look at the evidence of your shortcomings, your harrowing experience with the pregnancy. But for some reason, Isaac insisted. When you asked if he wanted a baby or you more, he couldn't answer. You broke off the engagement, and Isaac moved out of your apartment two weeks after that.
A month later, Isaac's sister reached out to you, offering her sympathy and shedding some light on why he wanted to have a baby so badly. Their grandfather was old, dying, and most importantly, filthy rich. In his latest will, he stated that a part of his inheritance would be saved for his great-grandkids' education, paying for the best private schools in the country until they could go out into the world independently. Isaac wanted a cut of that money as well, and he needed to have a legitimate child to get a cut from his sister's two kids, who were the sole beneficiaries. It was another hard truth in a whirlwind year, and you thought that was the end of you. With the help of your sister, a few friends and a therapist, you eventually came out the other side. You poured your heart and time into your next book, forgot about dating, and kept on living the quiet life you craved.
After wrapping up the story, you glanced at Art to see his reaction. You were grateful to find compassion, and not pity as you had learned to expect from the few you told this story to. That was all you needed.
Art reached over the table and grasped your hand. You allowed his hand to linger on yours, his thumb caressed your skin soothingly. After a long moment, you pulled your hand away. Art pushed the dish of calamari forward, offering you a bite. You humoured him by taking a bite, feeling the crispy crumbs on your tongue. After the bite, you spoke with a resolve you'd learned from all these years.
“Tashi was who you wanted all these years ago. I knew it, even back then. You couldn’t quite break away from her.”
“I know, and it was unfair to you. But I hope you know that I truly loved you.”
You nodded. He didn't need to say it. A mutual understanding that was so deep that it would take both of you a lifetime to unlearn was something that you shared. Despite how your relationship ended, it didn't diminish your meaningful connection. The heart and mind were the strange and curious things despite their proximity to the body that contained them. You could control them in a way, but in the end, the heart wanted what it wanted, even though the morality deemed it wrong. You still cared for each other deeply, and even though years had passed since you last spoke, the connection was nurtured and forged in stone, becoming a part of your history that neither of you could ever forget. The concept was foreign, and you lived through it before you could truly understand it.
“Despite what happened, and I know I should hate you for it, but I’m glad that you got what you wanted. A great career. A family. Lily seems like a sweet girl.”
There was a touch of hesitation when Art spoke.
“She is. But there's … something else.”
You waited for him to go on. He eventually did, with doubt riddled his words.
“I think Tashi slept with Patrick after our engagement a few years ago.”
You blinked. You didn't anticipate that to come out of him.
“I was on a tour, and I … I couldn't sleep. She wasn't with me, so I went down to the lobby to find her. Then I saw her and Patrick sitting together. Someone distracted me, and when I turned around, they were gone.”
You considered your position, and decided to stay quiet.
“Maybe they went out for a smoke.”
“Tashi doesn’t smoke.”
“A drink, then?”
“There were two on the table by the time they left. Going to another place for drinks seems redundant. I’m not stupid, you know?”
You felt torn. Art deserved to know the truth, but it had to come from Tashi herself. You didn't want to meddle more than you had just by being here with Art and listening to the admission of how much he had missed you.
“Art. You have to ask yourself why you're thinking about the past and having doubts.”
When he didn't answer, you went on.
“Was it worth it to break your friendship with Patrick for Tashi? Are you happy with the choices you made?”
Art remained silent. He averted his eyes, a weariness weighed his shoulders down. You wanted to reach out, to almost say sorry for confronting him, but you kept your hands to yourself.
“It’s strange, how all of us are here.”
“Patrick is here as well?”
Art nodded.
“Yeah. I’m playing against him tomorrow.”
“How do you feel about that?”
“Like we’re still playing for Tashi’s number.”
A sarcastic chuckle left his lips.
“He’s still the same. Cocky. Overconfident.”
“And still somehow got under your skin?”
“No. We’re too old for that game.”
A tentative look passed Art's eyes, and you could almost tell what he was about to say.
“He said that you two ran into each other a few years ago.”
“We did.”
“He mentioned that you spent the night together.”
You narrowed your eyes.
“What are you trying to say?”
“Nothing. What you did with him is none of my business.”
You sucked your teeth before letting it go with a soft cluck.
“It’s funny. After all these years, you still can’t say what you really want to say. At least, Patrick was upfront about wanting to sleep with me.”
“So, you two didn’t …”
You waved a dismissive hand.
“Relax. For the record, we didn’t. I still loved you then. I couldn’t bring myself to do it.”
“I know that I don’t have any right to feel jealous, but I can't help it.”
“You really don't.”
“I know. I’m the fucking worst."
You didn't feel the want to revel in the admission of guilt he had shown you. What you wanted to do was to tell him about how you felt after everything that happened.
“You really hurt me, Art. I couldn’t understand why you got engaged with Tashi so quickly after we broke up. I accepted why you wanted to be with her, but I couldn’t fathom the timing.”
“You broke up with me. And I desperately wanted to get over you. I was envious of Patrick and Tashi’s relationship for so long, and I wanted her attention for so long that I thought it was the only way to get over you.”
You sighed deeply, seeing the invisible repeating patterns that had started to resurface. You leaned over to the table and took his hand.
“You have to move on. If the three of you can’t find a way to be together, then you have to break apart. Don’t let this consume you. And stop punishing yourself. Tashi’s shortcomings aren’t yours to carry.”
Art nodded, his brows furrowed in a way that made you feel like he understood you completely. After a long moment, he turned to the jacket he left on the seat. You went to pull your hand away, but Art held onto it as if he didn't want to let you go. You let him hold you, running soothing circles on his skin. The evidence of his fidelity to Tashi gleamed under the dim light, and the solidness of it cut into your heart. He pulled out a badge and placed it in front of you.
“It’s for you. Come, see me play. I’d love to have you there.”
You shook your head.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“Please? I was hoping to have at least one person who has always been in my corner to be there.”
You rolled your eyes in good humour.
“You have plenty.”
“They’re not you.”
His eyes on you were serious and unwavering. You searched for an ounce of insincerity but came up with none. Eventually, you gave in with an exhale.
“Fine. I seem to have a soft spot for you.”
“I can say the same about you."
"Oh yeah?"
You whispered. Art locked you in with a searing look, arousing a warmth that spread all over your skin and inside. The space between you was compressed by a new proximity, so close that you could see the flutter in his long lashes.
"You are, somehow, still holding the best part of me. I have never stopped thinking about you.”
You reached out with your free hand and caressed his face. His lips kissed your palm, and you allowed him to linger for a moment.
“Too bad we aren't meant to be.”
/
Art drove you back to the hotel. Neither of you said too much, knowing everything was already laid out on the table back at the restaurant. You got out of the car first, and Art followed. You went in for a hug at the same time and met each other in the middle. His body was solid and warm, and a sense of wistfulness laved at your emotion receptor. Art wrapped his arms around you tighter, pulling you flush against him as if he didn’t want to let go. After a while, you broke apart. You walked away first since you didn't want to be seen together. Art called after you when you got into the elevator.
“I really hope to see you there.”
Your eyes locked to the very last moment. And then, you were alone with your reflection.
/
It was ten minutes past three in the morning. You fell in and out of sleep with Art's words echoing in your head. Frustrated and tired, you decided to seek a little assistance at the bar downstairs. You had about a finger of rum left when Tashi came in. You didn't bother to look away from her when she noticed you. She approached the bar and got herself a tea. You knocked back your drink and prepared to leave when she said.
“You know, I was surprised when Art offered to arrange the hotel.”
Your face was a blank slate. Tashi's carefully articulated what she wanted to show you.
“Then I found out that you were here as well.”
“I didn’t plan this.”
“I know. Art did. He saw an opportunity to see you and he took it.”
You met her pragmatic demeanour with your own unsentimental tone.
“Hm, sounds like you need to tighten your leash.”
“Look, I don’t care what he did, or has done with you tonight–”
“Does he need your permission for everything he does?”
“–as long as you don’t distract him from his game.”
She was unfazed. But so were you.
“Don’t worry Tashi. All we did was talk. I wouldn’t come between you two.”
You meant it, and Tashi's resolve softened. After a quiet standstill, she spoke with a sincerity you didn't expect.
“Art keeps tabs on you. He reads your books. He even annotates them.”
You were about to shrug her off when she said it.
“He still has the scarf you made him.”
The scarf. How could you forget? Taken aback by her confession and Art's affection, you could only stare. You had to come to terms with the outcome of your relationship with Art a long time ago, and no matter how intimate the new details were, they no longer held significance. What difference would that make now? You shrugged.
“It doesn’t matter. You’re the one that he wants.”
The bartender nodded as you gestured for another drink.
“Take care of him. He really loves you. ”
“Then why do I feel like I’m still second to you?”
“I felt the same way when we were in college.”
You shared a rueful smile. Her outfit picked at your curiosity.
“Why are you out so late?”
“I went out for … a smoke.”
“In this weather?”
“I'm just … worried about tomorrow.”
“I see.”
You nodded and didn't question her any further. Tashi stood up from her seat.
“See you tomorrow.”
“See you.”
She left the bar, leaving you alone with your drink.
/
You arrived early, grabbing yourself a seat in a familiar spot. The bleacher was filled with people and even more whispers on how it was a fated match between Art Donaldson, who had been on a losing streak, and Patrick Zweig, whose career had never taken off. Started from the same place, yet they had two wildly different paths and ended up in this place today. It had been a long time since you saw a tennis match in person, and you couldn't help but feel a little excitement.
The tension was palpable, knowing what you knew. You caught the looks exchanged between Art and Tashi, and Patrick's sneaky glances between the two of them. After the first set, they went on a break with Patrick in the lead. Art's eyes roamed over the audience, looking for you. You waved, and his eyes brightened when he found you. He gave a soft smile and a subtle nod. Your eyes stayed on each other until he broke the connection first.
Everything changed in the third set. Patrick copied Art’s serve. The atmosphere shifted. Art didn’t react. When he served, the ball hit the back wall hard, and the shout he emitted was something you’d never heard from him. Primal. Pained. His gaze shifted from Tashi to Patrick, before settling on you. The sheer vulnerability behind his eyes was heartbreaking. He held your eyes for a brief moment before turning away to get a new ball. Tashi noticed that, and craned her neck to look at you. You gazed back at her, sharing the same confused expression that she wore. Something Patrick did trigger Art, and while you didn’t know what it was, you could understand the severity of it.
The match went on. It was the most intense game you had ever seen. Your heart hammered in your chest as the rally kept going. The distance between Patrick and Art grew smaller and smaller. Art jumped, and the movement propelled him over the net. Patrick dropped his racquet, catching Art as he descended. Tashi’s scream pierced through the crowd's cheer. You exhaled in relief. It was something you’d never witnessed before. Based on Art and Patrick’s faces, it was the closure they needed. You stood up from your seat and left. You didn't need to know who won at the end. Something was unlocked between the three of them, and it was all you needed to see.
You didn't see Art’s longing gaze as he tried to find you in the audience when the match was over.

You always wanted me.
Starring: Rengoku Kyojuro x f!reader; mention to past relationship with Sanemi;
Format: one-shot;
Warnings: nsfw, modern au, vaginal sex, creampie, unprotected sex, language, use of alcohol, drunkness, drunk sex but consensual, breeding kink, semi-public sex, mention to past relationship with Sanemi, cheating thought in past relationship;
Plot: A night in a pub and a failed date led you to drink away your sorrow. Unfortunately, the main reason behind your problems shows up and your tipsy state does not help you to keep your tongue tied. Too many shots of tequila, the man you have always wanted so ardently and a restroom were the ingredients required to make your heart burn that very night.
Author note: it is rare for me to put the author note on top of a one-shot, but in order to prevent possible drama to happen, I needed to clarify a thing: this fic is an old work of mine posted on my old Ao3 account and my old Wattpad profile. While I cannot log anymore into Ao3 for some reason, I can still log into my old Wattpad profile and I will try to gradually delete my old works as I fix and rewrite them! Do not worry and enjoy this little scrap!
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
“Another one!” you slurred, slamming the empty glass on the counter before you. It was your fourth shot. You were not used to drink that much, especially in a public place. The thing was you definitely had a good reason to drink down almost a whole bottle of tequila alone. You had just been stood up by a guy you had asked out to forget about your crush.
Your real crush. Or in other terms, the reason behind the loop of failed dates you had fallen into because he was so unapproachable. You wished you could forget about him, but nothing and no one could ever take his place in your heart. Why did he have to he that kind of guy that literally ruin your rationality and the chance to enjoy the company and the small attentions other men could provide you?
Disheartened, you sighed and propped your elbows on the counter in annoyace, waiting for the barman to fill your glass once again. No matter how hard to tried to ignore him, you always found yourself back at daydreaming about his piercing orange and red eyes.
Why could you not forget about him and his dazzling smile?
Whenever someone else had a chance to pick your interest and finally make you move on, something methodically went wrong. Maybe you had been jinxed.
A small smile curved your lips, when the guy in front of you carefully slided the drink in your direction. As soon as the smile appeared, it dropped, though. Someone hastily grabbed your glass and elegantly brought it to his lips, preventing you from enjoying your feast. How dare him steal your drink in such a dreadful night?
You were about to throw a punch at that rude man, but when your head snapped towards him you gaped in shock. Blinking skeptically, you gawked and your mind went blank for several seconds. That must have been a joke.
“What the Hell?” you babbled out, rolling your eyes in despair. If bad luck had a name, it would have definitely been yours. Those combined phenomena were indeed persuading you to believe some witch had cursed you for real.
“Fancy meeting you here, Y/N! Mind if I join you? You seem pretty upset. What's happened?” Kyojuro casually asked, sitting right next to you.
“You happened! - you asserted, darting your eyes on the barman - Another one, please” you asked, or better pleaded him, folding your arms over your chest.
Now you truly were irritated. Not only he pestered your mind day and night, but he also had the audacity of stealing your drinks and clubbing in your favorite place.
The blonde man chuckled and shook his head at you “Come on, don't hold a grudge. I have actually done it on purpose. I have to confess that I have been watching you for a while now. I don't think you should drink that much, you know?” he said softly, his eyes trailing up to your face. For a second, he seemed genuinely concerned.
Kyojuro Rengoku had always had a crush on you. He would have asked you out, if Sanemi had not messed up his plans by fooling around with you. After your break-up, he had noticed some changes in your behavior. You seemed not to care about anyone anymore. It was like you were running away from feelings and Kyojuro could not stand the rumors of you sleeping around with tons of strangers to possibly fill a void in your heart. It hurt him.
He was meant for loving you, not those bottom-dwellers you occasionally spent your nights with.
“So you're a watcher now! How cute! I don't need a babysitter, I can take care of myself” you blurted out, squinting your eyes and trying your best to act cool.
Unfortunately, your body had had enough. Your vision was getting blurry. You hated to admit it, but you were actually glad he was there to watch over you, even if you wanted to rip his face to shreds.
But just like your body, your mind began to wander in the very places you were trying to keep it awat from.
You glanced at him, your heart sinking into your chest at the sight your eyes had been blessed with. Kyojuro, drink in hand, was moistening his lower lip with his tongue. He seemed to be mulling something over. Maybe, he was just offended by your arrogance, or maybe he had a date and he was regretting having approached you.
Actually, you did not care. Happy, sad, angry or thoughtful it was Kyojuro. It was him, the only one your heart desired.
Oh, the things you wanted him to do with his tongue.
It was not a good time for fantasizing, though. You clenched your jaw, reaching your hand out to grab your glass, but you lost your grip on it and the shot slipped from your hand. The liquor inevitably spilled on Kyojuro's white shirt, making him stand up in shock. You wanted to apologize, your mouth was already opened, but you gawked when you spotted the outline of his toned, chiseled chest underneath the material of his shirt.
“Uhm... I— Kyo, I'm sorry! Let me help you” you stuttered, searching for a tissue in your purse. How stupid of you.
He was soaked, how could a tissue solve his problem or make it better?
You groaned in frustration, frenetically rummaging through your bag when Kyojuro's voice stopped you.
“Wait, it's okay, really! Let's go to the restroom. The dryer might help me” he reasoned, suddenly encircling your waist and pulling you towards him. Was it real? You blushed and tried to distance yourself from him, but the only reaction you got in return, was being held even tighter.
You frowned and shot him an interrogative glance, which was returned by a bright smile “Hey, you know, I can walk without you leading me around like a toddler” you pinpointed, rolling your eyes in feigned contempt. How could you deny you loved the feeling of being in such a close proximity with him?
Kyojuro, on the other hand, sighed and pushed the door of the restroom opened to let you in first “If you were fine, we would have not had a problem now. Why do you always have to be a bitch, anyway?” he asked you, undoing the first buttons of his shirt right away.
Not even firing something back, you froze solid and turned your face to the opposite side of the room, trying to ignore the urge to contemplate the celestial vision dazzling you in the restroom of a pub. You were not capable of saying a word. Your brain was fuming.
'What the fuck, Kyojuro?! Can't you just leave?' you thought, rubbing your temples to ease the pressure a tad bit.
“I’m talking to you. Look at me” he said then. You felt his gaze boring holes on the back of your head, but you knew that facing him meant losing your self-control.
“You know, I am fine staring at the wall. Don't you—…”you tried to talk back, but Kyojuro forcefully spun you around. He was done with you and the childish attitude of your drunk self.
Your hair whipped your cheeks, as you found yourself lost into a pair of orange and red orbs scrutinizing your face. Well, that was your end.
Your lips parted and you gulped nervously at the sight before your eyes. A shirtless Kyojuro was holding both your wrists in his huge hands, your eyes travelling down his toned chest and abs. Could it be even worse? Yes, it actually could.
“I'm still waiting for an answer” he stated, arching a thick eyebrow up.
You cleared your throat and shook your head “I'm not going to give you one” you murmured. Was it really that hard to understand that your behavior was your only defense against your love for him?
After all, you had screwed up your long-lasting relationship for him.
Kyojuro stared at you for a few seconds, then he swiftly pushed your back against the wall. Your hands were easily pinned up above your head, as he towered over you in a iron grip. The message was crystal clear. He did not want you to move.
You were stunned in silence, your breath hitched, as his face was now dangerously close to your mouth.
“What the fuck are you doing?” you breathed out, your voice betraying you. You liked this physical contact way too much to keep on fronting.
The blonde man in front of you cracked a smile “I'm trying to solve the problem once and for all. I know why you and Sanemi broke up. — he started — He told me you screamed my name, as you climaxed around him”.
He knew.
You blushed and gawked at his words. He had just thrown facts at your face. You had been exposed. Was it really necessary denying the truth any longer? No, it was not. What about your sense of shame? It was long gone, after the amount of alcohol you had gulped down. You were not even mad at Sanemi for having blabbed out your little secret. This was just above you.
You glared at Kyojuro, tilting your head to the side to contemplate his face properly. He was handsome as Hell. You wanted him and you wanted him now. You had always wanted him.
“Well then, I guess the comedy is over. I should be thankful to Sanemi for having exposed me like that. I finally can get what I wanted from the very beginning” you said, before hungrily smashing your lips against his ones.
It took a moment for him to realize what you were doing, and maybe you were pretty shocked too by your boldness, but once your taste indulged on his tongue he gained courage and kissed you back.
Your tongues danced together, soft moans left your mouth, when Kyojuro inevitably began to lead the way.
You felt like you were on a burning ship, without any lifeboat you could jump in to escape your fate. Still, you did not fight for your life. You were happily embracing your destiny. You had chosen it yourself. You had broken the curse affecting you for years.
When his lips left yours, your breath was uneven but your eyes sparkled with a savage lust he could not ignore and it was enough for him to unbuckle his belt and slip his calloused hand underneath your dress.
Words were superfluous, you both needed your release. Your hunger was fuel to his burning desire. Kyojuro was usually the calm and collected guy everybody got along with. Getting to see what laid underneath that cheerful and respectful façade was sending you straight to cloud nine.
The moment his fingers made their way beneath your panties and reached your slit, he sighed and began to stroke your bundle of nerves in circluar motions “We won't need much foreplay. You are so damn wet” he whispered, drawing invisible circles on your clitoris.
You were breathless. Whimpers and whines erupted from your throat as you bucked your hips against his hand. You were such a mess he envied Sanemi for having got you before he did.
“Please, please, Kyojuro, I need you... Don't waste time” you breathed out, grinding your hips against his hand.
Hearing those words falling from your lips, the blonde man shoved two fingers into your core and slowly pumped them in and out of your entrance. You loved how dominant he was, you loved the way he seemed to ignore you and your needs. Everything he did was magic.
“Gosh, you're such an impatient brat” he joked, watching your mouth resembling the shape of an o. Sinful moans erupted from your throat and you digged your nails onto his shoulders not to collapse onto the floor. You were close and he knew it. He could feel it by the way your walls squeezed his fingers, almost sucking them in. Therefore, he hastily pulled them out of you, much to your dismay.
You whined for the sudden emptiness you were experiencing and your eyes locked with his one in a pleading glance. Kyojuro unzipped his pants and pulled them down enough to allow his member to spring out of his boxers.
You blushed, as his hand found its way to your dripping core again. He easily pushed your panties aside and hooked your right leg up on his hip for a better access.
You could feel his hot breath fanning your lips and his bulge pressing against your entrance, collecting your juices as a lube.
“Are you okay? Can I go ahead?” he asked, kissing you gently then.
You nodded and cupped his cheek in your hand, pressing your forehead against his one “Drunk or not, I love you” you whispered, confessing your feelings after years of fears and tears.
Kyojuro held you close to him and finally entered you, earning a loud moan of pleasure from you. He waited for you to adjust to his size, a strained moan rumbling from deep in his chest as he pushed himself into you slowly, inch after inch. Gasping and moaning softly, you felt your walls adapting to him and once he was buried deep into you, Kyojuro gently pulled out a bit. He started pounding into you slowly but passionately, filling you in places no one had ever reached before.
You screamed his name, not worrying about being in a public place and Kyojuro muffled your moans with his tongue anyway.
“Tell me how badly you wished it was me and not him back in time. Tell me. Tell me how many times you wanted to fuck me on your shared bed” he stated, slamming into you a little faster now.
You moaned his name, your legs shaking as you lolled your head back in ecstasy “Countless times” you said, as he gripped your face by your jaw, forcing you to look at him.
“I'm not pulling out, you know that?” he rasped, hitting the perfect spot inside you as your eyes locked.
It was the perfect ending, something long overdue. You kissed him enjoying every minute of it until the very end. You came with a loud moan, he following right after you. You felt his seed filling you up to you cervix, as he peppered your face in small, affectionate kisses. He was perfect, this was perfect.
“You're coming home with me tonight” he breathed out, caressing your cheekbones before pulling out of you.
You were finally his.

The first time Dustin tried to get Steve and Eddie to meet, Eddie refused.
“You expect me to be nice to Steve Harrington? The King of Hawkins High?”
“I told you, that’s old news,” Dustin rolled his eyes.
“Last year isn’t exactly old news, Henderson.”
So Dustin let it be.
— — — — —
The second time they didn’t have a choice.
Eddie was wanted for murders he didn’t commit, and Steve was well-versed in the ways of the Upside Down.
When Eddie almost died, it was Steve who was able to carry him through the gate.
When Eddie was in the hospital for three weeks, it was Steve who sat by his side every night so he wouldn’t be alone with his nightmares.
When Eddie got out, it was Steve who brought him to his appointments and helped him get settled in the new government-provided house for him and Wayne.
When Eddie thought about it, Steve was probably the nicest guy he’d ever met.
— — — — — — — —
But Steve ended up having to go back to work when things got fixed up.
His parents left him the house, but otherwise cut him off.
Groceries and gas don’t pay for themselves.
So he saw him for an hour here or a few minutes there, always checking in when he dropped Dustin and Mike off for D&D.
Eddie started to wonder if Steve only hung out with him because he had like, survivors guilt or something. He had been so kind and caring, but clearly the clock ran out on that.
But to Dustin, it was just a reset.
Steve hadn’t changed, just his available time.
And it was time to do something about it.
— — — — — — —
They say the third time’s the charm, but in this case, it wasn’t.
In fact, Dustin almost gave up when this result ended in Eddie telling Steve to go fuck himself.
He didn’t know what happened, and he never found out, but Steve looked hurt, and Eddie shut himself in his room for three days.
— — — — — — —
Dustin was sick.
The flu was running rampant through the streets and school halls of Hawkins, leaving no person left untouched by the worst nausea and body aches known to humankind.
Also, Eddie’s dramatics may have been rubbing off on him. Just a little.
So he couldn’t go to Hellfire, and without him, they couldn’t finish the campaign.
But in his drug-addled mind, he thought of a resolution. Potentially. But bribery would have to be involved.
So he called Steve.
“Steve.” He turned up the pitifully low rasp of his voice to make it seem like he was dying. “I need you to cover me at Hellfire.”
“Why? So Eddie can tell me to go fuck myself again? No thanks.”
“Dude. Please. I’m too sick. Everyone’s been wanting to finish this campaign for a month.”
“Can’t they reschedule when you’re better.”
Well, yeah, probably. Eddie had been way more open to rescheduling since everything happened.
That would ruin his plan, though.
“C’mon, Steve! I’ll owe you!” He coughed to add to the drama of it all.
“Fine! Fine.” Steve sighed. “I hope you know you’re gonna lose.”
“Nah, it’s a team effort. Everyone will help you.”
“Sure.” Then, because Steve was Steve: “Need anything, Henderson?”
Dustin almost felt bad about what he was making Steve do. Almost.
“No, mom’s making me a broth soup to try to sip on.”
“Okay, call tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow.”
If Dustin wasn’t as sick as he was, he probably would have tried to stay awake to call tonight.
But he fell asleep within minutes.
— — — — — — — —
“I’m sorry, you’re what?”
Steve rolled his eyes and placed his hands on his hips. “Filling in for Dustin. He’s sick.”
“You can’t do that.”
“He said I could.”
“He doesn’t run Hellfire, does he?”
“Shouldn’t he? Since you graduated?”
Eddie glared.
“If you two are done bickering like old ladies fighting over the same man in the nursing home, we have a campaign to finish,” Erica said from her seat, looking at her nails instead of at them.
“You heard Lady Applejack,” Eddie gestures towards the table.
Steve sat in the largest chair at the end and leaned back.
Everyone was staring at him.
“You’re not that dense. You can’t be.”
Steve looked up at Eddie with a smirk.
“Is there a problem?”
“That’s the DM seat. I’m the DM. Therefore, my seat.”
“It’s big enough to share. I like the view from here.”
“You can see all my notes from here!”
“Exactly.”
Eddie’s face was so red, it was a wonder he hadn’t exploded yet.
But he didn’t continue arguing. To Steve’s delight, and Dustin’s if he were there to see it, Eddie sat down on the edge of the chair. Steve scooted over a little, but they were pushing each other and being immature and stupid.
They both fell on their asses and Lucas finally spoke up.
“Can we just reschedule? This isn’t gonna work.”
“No. We’re so close. Dustin wouldn’t have sent Steve if he wanted us to reschedule.”
Eddie looked at Steve, searching his face for something. Whatever it was, he must’ve found it.
“Alright. Steve’s in my lap. Let’s go.”
He clapped and pulled himself back into the chair, patting his thigh and smiling at Steve.
“The whole game?”
“It’s this or Dustin’s spot over there.”
Steve wasn’t having that. He deserved this spot.
He stood up and sat down in Eddie’s lap, ignoring the way his stomach fluttered at being close enough to smell the shampoo Eddie used. Eddie’s hands settled on his hips to hold him in place while he leaned around to check his notes.
“Let’s begin!”
Luckily, Steve didn’t have to do much. The rest of the group kind of played for him, knowing he was just a warm body at the table.
And he was certainly warm.
Eddie’s hands had been finding new places to touch on his sides or legs or back or stomach all night. It was distracting. It was annoying. It was intoxicating and addicting and Steve never wanted to leave.
He was completely zoned out, barely registering he was supposed to be an active participant in this fucking game when he felt a light smack on his thigh.
He let out a whine.
And then reality came crashing in.
Everyone was staring at him with raised eyebrows. Eddie was completely still under him. He was mortified.
But he still didn’t want to get up.
He kind of just wanted to turn around and bury his face in Eddie’s neck.
As soon as he has the thought, his body is making it happen. ‘Your wish is my command,’ it’s saying in excitement.
Within seconds, his body is turned facing a shell-shocked Eddie, legs using the space between Eddie’s back and the back of the chair to wrap around his waist, and his face burying itself into his neck. He let out a much quieter whine, and felt his whole body relax.
A hand was on the back of his head, keeping him in place, and he sighed.
He could feel vibrations, like Eddie was speaking, but his head was cloudy and he couldn’t quite figure out what it was he was saying.
It didn’t really matter anyways. He was cozy and safe and relaxed for maybe the first time ever. Unless Eddie physically removed him from his spot, he wasn’t moving.
Time passed, but Steve couldn’t take a guess at how much.
“Stevie? You awake?”
“Mhm.”
“You wanna get comfy?”
“Am.”
He felt Eddie laugh more than he heard it, but he just snuggled further into Eddie’s neck, bunching his shirt in his hands.
“Okay, I’m just gonna pick you up and go to the bedroom. It’ll be better to sleep.”
Sleep? Was it that late? Where was everyone else?
“Shhh. It’s okay. Just squeeze your legs around my waist and hold on.”
Steve followed his instructions to the letter and he could’ve sworn he heard Eddie whisper “good boy” into his ear, but that could’ve been wishful thinking.
The next thing he knew, Eddie was sitting on the edge of his own bed with Steve in the same position on his lap.
“Wanna get in comfy clothes?”
Steve shook his head.
He was so tired.
“When’s the last time you slept?”
“Dunno. Week?”
“A week?! Steve…”
“Shhh. Sleepy.”
“No shit. You haven’t slept in a week.” Eddie sighed and then somehow managed to get them both settled in bed, Steve’s body almost entirely on top of Eddie’s. “Get some rest, sweetheart.”
“Mkay.”
Eddie kissed the top of his head, but he was already almost completely asleep.
— — — — — — —
“So he just…cuddled him? Right there at the table?”
Dustin couldn’t believe his plan worked and he wasn’t even there.
“It was awful,” Erica spit out.
“It was weird,” Lucas added.
“It was disgusting,” Mike said, pointing a glare at Dustin. “I wish I had the flu so I could’ve missed it.”
“And has anyone checked in on them since?”
Two days had passed and Dustin was finally able to keep solid foods down and his fever broke more than 12 hours before. His mom was even going to let him call Suzy later.
“Uh. Should we?”
“Lucas! Dude! They may have turned on each other.”
“Yeah, more like turned each other on,” Erica mumbled.
They all stared at each other, disgusted at the thought of their friend and babysitter being close.
“Gross.”
But Dustin smiled anyway. His plan finally worked.

Love Or Something Like It ~Quinn Hughes~
Tumblr media
summary: quinn's girlfriend sucks but y/n's boyfriend is the best
word count: 3.2k
pairing: quinn hughes x roommate!reader, brief elias pettersson x reader
notes: another quinn x roommate fic. not set in the same universe as the last one. italics are the past. was supposed to post this on valentines day but did not have access to my laptop
masterlist
quinn and y/n were best friends. had been since they were younger. after she finished her schooling at the university of michigan, she followed quinn to vancouver, per his request.
he needed her nearby and somehow, knowing his best friend was there, made him play so much better.
although they hadn't seen each other in person for months, everything easily went back to normal. it was as if the distance was never a problem.
things were easy, until they weren't.
quinn had gotten himself a girlfriend the third month y/n had been living with him. rebecca was only nice to y/n when they were with other people but when they were alone, she would get angry and threaten y/n with anything she could think of.
it was very clear she was jealous. but why did she have to be? y/n wasn't as pretty as rebecca, a fact that she pointed out whenever they were alone, and she didn't want to be with quinn. she had her own boyfriend back in michigan. one she loved with her whole heart, despite all the red flags he gave off.
it hurt quinn to think that y/n wasn't being treated the way she deserved. he knew he had to do something to fix it. and since valentines day was coming up, he thought it'd be perfect to set y/n up on a blind date & rebecca agreed, offering up tons of suggestions. but quinn already had the perfect person in mind.
so, on valentine's day of 2023, y/n was sitting in a fancy restaurant with quinn and rebecca while they waited for the mystery man to show up.
"hey. sorry i'm late."
y/n looked up when she heard the voice. she had heard it many times before at canucks events. elias pettersson stood before her. his bright blue eyes staring back at her with a smile that didn't seem to want to leave his face.
"no worries." y/n smiled up at him as he took the seat across from her. she may have had a boyfriend but in the moment, her only though was how good elias looked tonight.
as they ate, y/n & elias got lost in their own little world. quinn tried not to notice it but the more she laughed, the more distracted quinn got. he didn't think he was jealous until later that night when rebecca brought it up.
"if you're so into her, why did you set her up with your teammate? better yet, why are you dating me?"
"becca, please can we not do this right now?"
"why not, quinn? it's the perfect time to address these feelings. i've been holding mine in since we met. every time you brought her up in conversations, it made me feel small. you're my boyfriend. you're supposed to love me, not her."
"my love for you is completely different than my love for her."
"so you admit that you love her?"
"of course i do. she's been my best friend since we were 8 years old. i've got nothing but love for her." quinn took a step closer to his girlfriend. "but i'm not in love with her. that's the difference here."
"are you trying to convince me or yourself?" rebecca grabbed her bag and walked to the door. "call me when you get it right, hughes."
and just like that, rebecca was gone.
quinn had tried multiple times to call her and tell her he only wanted to be with her, but only received her voicemail each time.
over the next few weeks, y/n spent more and more time with elias. she was almost never home anymore and quinn was alone 90% of the time. he would drive to practice alone and he would watch as y/n slowly transitioned herself from a hughes fan to a pettersson fan.
she started wearing elias' jersey instead of quinn's and it created an unfamiliar pain in his chest the more it became evident.
when y/n found out her boyfriend had cheated on her, she didn't run to quinn. she ran straight to elias instead, breaking quinn's heart.
he realized that the unfamiliar sting in his chest was jealousy. quinn didn't want to see y/n with anyone but himself but unfortunately for him, he was a little late to the realization.
one night while quinn was at home, y/n was over at elias' place. she came home with a big smile on her face that night & quinn knew why, but he asked anyway.
"what's got you so smiley tonight?"
"elias made me dinner and asked me to be his girlfriend."
and there was that stinging feeling right where it didn't need to be. only it was 10 times worse this time. he was hopelessly in love with her & had no idea how to deal with it.
it wasn't until the beginning of february 2024 that quinn had hope again.
he and y/n were washing the dishes together when she rubbed her eye with her forearm. some of the suds came off on her cheek and as quinn went to wipe them away, her breath hitched and her cheeks were turning red.
"here, let me get that for you." he wiped the suds away and smiled. "there, all gone."
"gee, thanks quinn." y/n flicked some water at him, causing the soap suds to go everywhere. the look in quinn's eyes was enough of a warning for her. she took off out of the kitchen and into the hallway.
"you've got nowhere to run now, y/n." quinn smirked evilly, moving closer to y/n until her back was pressed against the wall. y/n swallowed the lump in her throat before looking at his lips. this only caused quinn to lean down and whisper in her ear. "gotcha." he wiped the suds on her face and smiled. when he looked down at her, she was staring at his lips. "what's on your mind?" he teased.
"n-nothing." she quickly looked away and moved away from the wall. she headed back into the kitchen to finish the dishes. quinn took a moment by himself before joining her.
"so, valentines day is coming up in a few days. you and elias have anything huge planned?"
"he won't tell me." y/n washed the last plate and handed it to quinn. he dried it and put it in it's place before turning back to y/n.
"does he know you hate surprises?"
"i don't hate them, quinn." y/n shook her head.
"you don't like secrets and those are practically the same thing."
"i guess so." y/n turned to quinn. "but elias has been off lately. did anything happen at practice?"
"no. why?"
"i don't know why he's acting this way."
"what way?"
"dodgy? i think that's the word to describe it." y/n sighed. "he's not seeing someone else...is he?" the sadness in y/n's voice made quinn's heart break.
"no. of course not. elias is a good guy. you just gotta talk to him and see what's going on."
"i'll try." y/n walked to her bedroom but before she entered, she turned to quinn. "hey. are you still dating rebecca?"
"no. she, um, broke up with me. almost a year ago."
"good." she looked up at him and backtracked her comment. "i mean, not good as in it's good she broke up with you. i meant good as in it's good that she's gone. she was terrible."
"yeah she really was. and i'm sorry again for what she did and said to you."
"it's not your fault, quinn."
"it kind of is. if i hadn't been dating her to cover up the fact that i was jealous- nevermind." he caught himself before he revealed too much.
"jealous of what? you can't just leave the comment there. who were you jealous of?"
"nobody. just forget i said anything." quinn smiled at his roommate. "good night."
y/n stood in her doorway with a puzzled look on her face. why did every guy in her life have to keep a secret from her.
y/n shook her head and went into her own room. she called jack because he was the only she knew who wouldn't keep a secret from her.
"hey. what's up y/n?"
"jack, i need some information and i know you'll give it to me because you are the only one i know who never hides things from me."
"well, i can definitely give you information. but it also depends on what it is. i might not know what you're asking about."
"fair point. but it's about quinn and i know you know all about your brother."
"yeah i do. what's the information you need?"
"5 minutes ago, he said he was only dating rebecca because he was jealous but he wouldn't tell me why he was jealous or what he was jealous of."
"he's jealous of you and elias." jack responded with no hesitation, causing y/n to gasp a little louder than expected.
"but he was dating rebecca before i started dating elias. how could he be jealous?"
"maybe jealous wasn't the word he meant to use. he probably was trying to say he was only dating her because he was trying to get over how he felt about you." jack thought for a second. "or maybe he was jealous of you and that michigan douchebag you were dating when you moved to vancouver."
"that's a little more logical. but he doesn't love me, jack. and even if he did, it wouldn't matter. i'm dating elias and i love him. not quinn."
unbeknownst to y/n, quinn had come out of his room and had heard her say she didn't love him. the last few pieces of his heart shattered and he suddenly couldn't breath.
before he made any noise, he made his way back to his room, collapsing against the door. why did he have to love his best friend? his very not single best friend.
for the next 2 days, quinn would avoid y/n at all costs. he would wake up super early and leave the apartment before he saw her & he wouldn't even acknowledge her at practice or at games.
it was breaking her heart but it wasn't known why it was affecting her so badly.
on valentines day, elias had set up a romantic picnic for her in his backyard. she appreciated it but her mind was stuck on the way quinn was treating her lately. and elias wasn't blind or stupid. he could tell she was hurting.
"hey, love. are you alright?"
"i'm fine." y/n smiled and sipped her champagne. "why do you ask?"
"because i know you're not fine. i can see the far away look you have in your eye. you're deep in thought about something and i can tell it's hurting you. and i love you so please tell me what's going on with you. i just want to make you feel better."
"quinn has been my best friend forever but this past year alone, i've been feeling him pulling away and i don't know why." she sighed. "do you think he's tired of having me in his life?"
"what? no that's impossible. who could get tired of having you in their life? and quinn is the very last person who would want to do that to you. he cares about you, a lot."
"i know that's how it's supposed to feel but lately, things have been different. if he cared about me at all, he wouldn't be avoiding me whenever he had the opportunity to do it."
it was elias' turn to sigh. "it's because he's finally realizing he's in love with you. he has been for a while."
"no he hasn't. why does everyone keep saying that?"
"because it's true." elias took his girlfriends hand and smiled. "and i don't blame him. you make everyone fall in love with you like it's the easiest thing to do. and you don't even know the effect you have on us. you should've heard the way quinn talked about you the night he asked me to take you out on that date for valentines day. i already knew you and i had already said yes but he kept saying all these really nice things about you. things a best friend wouldn't say. i'm telling you, y/n. quinn is in love with you." elias sighed. "and i think you love him too."
"well, of course i do. he's my best friend." y/n smiled. "but that doesn't matter. i love you, elias. and that should be what matters here."
"i love you enough to know that being with quinn is what you need." by now, it was obvious they both had tears in their eyes.
"why do you have to be the sweetest human being on this planet?"
"well, i am swedish." he smiled and held her close. "you're always going to be the best girlfriend i've ever had. and not just because you're the only one i've had. you're always going to hold the crown."
"so does this mean we're breaking up?"
"yes. but i still love you. always will." he held her hand to his lips and placed a gentle kiss to her knuckles. "now, let's get you home so you can tell quinn."
back at the apartment, quinn was trying to put something together to express every emotion he was feeling. after he had everything put together, there was a knock on the door.
he opened it and rebecca walked in. she looked around the apartment then back at quinn.
"well this isn't what i was expecting when i came here." she smiled. "but it's thoughtful, quinn. can't believe you went through all of this for me."
"actually, i-" he didn't have time to tell her it was for y/n before rebecca was pulling him in for a kiss.
"seriously?" y/n was standing in the doorway, watching the whole thing unfold. rebecca pulled away from quinn rather harshly at the sound of y/n's voice.
"y/n, this isn't-"
"i'm ruining a romantic moment. i'm sorry. i'll leave."
"you're right. you are and you should. bye." rebecca waved and y/n turned to walk back out.
"no, y/n wait!" quinn called out to her then turned to rebecca. "you need to go."
"what are you talking about?"
"this wasn't for you, rebecca. it would've been if you hadn't broken up with me a year ago. but it's not now."
"then who's it for?" rebecca searched quinn's face for a sign before her eyes landed on y/n, who was halfway out the door. "seriously? for her? thought you said you weren't in love with her."
"yeah well maybe i am now!"
y/n stopped in her tracks and turned back around.
"what?" y/n and rebecca responded.
"yeah. and maybe i always have been. it may have been a subconscious act and maybe that's why i always needed her to be close by. we can't help who we love and you can't be mad at y/n for the way that i feel. she did nothing wrong."
"she's done nothing but come between us since the moment we started dating, quinn."
"just leave, rebecca."
"no. i think i'll go. elias is waiting for me downstairs anyway." y/n turned around and walked out of he building. she got halfway down the street before it started raining.
a car sped past her and she knew it was rebecca just by the way the car aggressively sped through a puddle and nearly splashed her.
"oh tonight could not get any worse!" she shouted in frustration, kicking at a rock in her path.
"y/n, wait!" quinn shouted as he ran up to her.
"quinn, i'm not really in the mood to talk right now."
"then just listen to me. i'll do all the talking."
"fine. but can we go home? i'm freezing."
"of course." they both stayed silent as they headed back to their apartment. quinn wanted to say everything he was feeling but he wanted to wait until y/n was in a better mood. he knew she hated wet clothes so as soon as they walked through the door, he was rushing to his room to get her a tshirt and a pair of sweatpants. she accepted them without a word and went to the bathroom to change.
when she came out, the smell of hot chocolate filled her nostrils and it brought her a sense of joy. only quinn would be this thoughtful when she was mad at him.
she walked into the living room and sat down, silently taking the mug quinn offered her. she took a sip and smiled. that's when quinn knew he was doing good.
"okay. i'm ready to listen." y/n held the mug close and looked at him. his hair was still wet from the rain and she suddenly found herself wanting to run her fingers through the mess.
"okay. um, first off, rebecca and i are most definitely not together. just want to clarify that. and all of this," he glanced up at y/n & gestured around the apartment. "i set it all up for you. i know you're dating elias and you probably got something super romantic for valentines day but i wanted to do something for you too, even if it's only platonic between us. and im fine with that because you're my best friend and im sorry for rebecca and im sorry for ignoring you. it was a bad move on my part. but i heard you talking to jack the other night and you told him you didn't love me so i figured you'd want some space."
"elias and i broke up." y/n set her mug on the coffee table and stared down at her hands. "but it's okay. he's still a really good friend and that makes me happy."
"why'd you guys break up?"
"he could tell i was hurting and he kinda figured out how i feel about you."
"and how's that?"
"i didn't think i loved you until he pointed it out. but now it all makes sense. i was so eager to leave my life in michigan just to move out here to be closer to you & now i know why. i also know why it was weird seeing you with rebecca. it felt unnatural because deep down, i knew you and i were supposed to be together. we've been together our whole lives but never in a million years did i think there was a reason we were so attached to each other." y/n glanced over to find quinn staring at her already. "i do love you, quinn. and i know you love me too."
"i do. i definitely do." he smiled and moved closer. "i always will. and i'm willing to wait for you, however long it takes."
"you're perfect, quinn. i love you so much." she moved forward and threw her arms around him. he held her close and pulled her sideways onto his lap to make her more comfortable. "how about we go on a real date next saturday?"
"that sounds perfect." he looked at her and it took all of his willpower to not kiss her. she didn't care. her hands went to his cheeks and her lips attached to his.
it was a perfect moment for the both of them and neither of them cared about the world around them. as far as they were concerned, it was just the two of them for the rest of their lives.

Hi, sorry if this comes out as a ramble, but your Troy ask made me rewatch the movie (for the umpteenth time, lol), and it brought a lot of old feelings back, both good and bad. The good is how much I adored the Iliad as a child and that's something that still thrives today—since I was a kid, I loved Greek mythology in general, partly because I'm Palestinian/a fellow Eastern Mediterranean, so there is a lot of overlap in our histories, cultures, customs and myths, but the Iliad has always been a favorite. Hektor is my favorite character (and I love him and Andromache), but I also have an immense soft spot for Briseis... and now to get to the bad, rewatching Troy reminded me how a lot of people erase her and her role—and her romance—to Achilles in modern retellings. Now, I'm not going to argue which Achilles ship is the best (especially because that man is a hoe, if we're being honest), I don't care. My problem is the modern erasure of Briseis and the other women in Achilles's life that are romantically entangled with him being reduced to, "He's gay, actually." It reads biphobic if you believe him queer (Patroclus too, who had many named women concubines/slaves), first off, misogynist second. He has a son with his foster "sister," Deidamia, and in some versions even married. In the Iliad especially, Patroclus tells Briseis Achilles will marry her and Achilles himself refers to her as his wife/bride, stopping a whole war when she's taken, and she's even allowed to aid in Patroclus's funeral rights. In some versions, Achilles falls for Polyxena, and tries to make peace with Troy so he can marry her. In the afterlife, Achilles chooses Helen as his wife for some reason. Just... all these women, with complex situations and feelings, are all reduced or erased in modern tellings (and usually for a man/Patroclus), and it makes me want to scream. People use the excuse of, "We don't like the romantic situation they're in," but then claim to "better" it by... erasing or reducing these women and their complex roles and feelings from the story overall? Brieseis, for example, mutually loved Achilles and saw him as a husband... he also killed her first husband and brothers, and you can argue part of her love is out of the need for survival. Yet, she greatly mourned him when he was killed, too. And if exploring this complexity is still not your yum, what about Polyxena? Wouldn't she fit the girlboss archetype of using Achilles' affections to gain his trust, before stabbing him in the back (literally)? Or Deidamia, who's young and left at home, bereft of her husband and son? Heck, try and fill in the gaps how Achilles x Hellen happened, if you must. All these women have an important role in the story, and to Achilles, that could be explored—but people don't because they dismiss what's already there or don't know anything about The Iliad outside modern retellings (mainly The Song of Achilles). So, we get people claiming things that are untrue ("Achilles and Patroclus are exclusively gay!"... in some myths, they're actually relatives/distant cousins, fun fact 😭), and acting like they fixed something by "adding" onto "flat female characters" in a way that reads inauthentic and ignorant to the source material. I get wanting to prop up one's chosen ship, it's just the hypocrisy of promising to be more progressive in one area, but diminishing the progressiveness of another, that kills me. Anyway! Sorry for the rant, I just have a lot of feelings I wanted to share because of the movie and I know you've talked about all this before—it's just something hard to discuss on the internet without people coming down your throat 🥲. Anyhow, justice for Briseis, is my rallying cry, I love her so much, queen made a whole war stop for her and managed to escape from Agamemnon unscathed. Queen who launched a thousand ships to my heart 🫶🏻.
I'm glad you re-watched it! It's a beloved of many Greeks since the movie is quite epic and makes you understand some of the original's glory. Hector, Andromache and Briseis are some of my fave characters in the movie, and it made me also look out for those characters when they appear in the text.
Btw, I would love to know a Palestinian's pov on our shared traditions and myths, how do you guys learn the Greek myths, what parts of them have had perhaps an affect on your heritage and since when, etc! 😍
Briseis' situation is complicated one because many people won't catch the nuance of her living in a patriarchal society as a war captive and thus developing a strange co-dependence to her captors. In addition, the Homeric Epics are a work changed by time in the Greek society, as people added and altered stuff, so many storylines have been affected by other layers of patriarchal societies. So of course the notion of "slave girl mourning her captor's friend" would seem natural, because they probably don't consider a slave woman's POV. Or perhaps she was in the mourning because she had to be there as a woman "belonging" to the Greeks, and the text does not mention it explicitly because it a given for the era. (I don't recall the whole relevant text sorry)
I am not sure if the average author - judging by what is published in the Anglophone market - can handle the complexity of Briseis and other women in the Trojan war. For Briseis one could go for a romance there but they'd have to depict all of her psychosynthesis properly, so it doesn't come off as "Achilles killed my family but he is hot so I love him". To be fair, it is a challenging task but I am still sad that I haven't heard retellings that do this well. Such a retelling done well would be chef's kiss!
As you said, unfortunately, the writers for now focus on the couple Achilles x Patroclus which, ok, let's accept it since it's a ship and there is some background to it (although those guys are most likely 1) cousins 2) very close to each other like brethren in a way westerners misinterpret). I've enjoyed Song of Achilles and I am surely not against such works, but you are right that the female heroines are reduced to flat characters. A fandom full of women manages to be misogynistic - again. We shouldn't be surprised because misogynistic influences are very strong in our societies still, although many don't see it 😕

This was your favorite environment.
The one place where you could let loose and not give a flying fuck about what anyone else in the room would think. Then again, the usual mindset of every other person in this area was either one of the two categories; how can I dance like her or how can I dance with her. It brought you confidence that could remain for the rest of the night.
The club was a decent-sized place that was always so packed that it had the potential to become a fire hazard. Monday, Thursday, Saturday; it didn’t matter what day it was, people were there ready to dance and drink their hearts out.
The music was what really brought everyone in. A mix of R&B and hip hop, both old and new, inspiring club-goers to gyrate and belt out the lyrics into the neon air. But there was a specific genre that piqued your interest from the moment you first stepped into this establishment. Hearing the bouncy rhythm and background instruments originating from various Caribbean islands took over your soul (you couldn’t think of a less dramatic way to explain it). If you were feeling less-than-stellar when you entered the building, the music was quick to fix that. Knowing that over time, you would become one with the beats, gyrating to your heart’s content.
Nothing could kill your vibe.
Well, except for when strangers tried to creep into your personal bubble.
Now, you didn’t mind someone coming up to dance with you in the beginning. It took two to tango and it could be fun having another person to enjoy the music with. But it became clear after some time that not many of them could match your moves.
They were too slow.
They were off-beat.
They were too erratic in their moves.
Your patience dwindled with these people, which led to you turning them down the second you sensed trouble. Some backed off with little issue, finding another club dweller to put their moves on instead. Some didn’t like to take no for an answer and led to passive-aggressive jabs at your dancing before storming away.
Whatever.
Not your problem.
You had been here for over an hour now. About six people had approached you, varying energies, but with the same disappointing results. The last one was particularly grating, constantly trying to guide you to their awful rhythm. They must have missed your ass about three times before you gave them the typical look of disappointment. But they insisted on trying over and over until you had to take their hands off you and tell them to leave you alone. The look in their eyes screamed that they wanted to call you some name, but they chose wisely to walk away instead.
Good, you didn’t feel like cussing someone out tonight.
Now that you were free from lackluster dancers, your throat was getting parched. It was time to re-hydrate, especially before the fire songs came on.
You made a beeline over to the crowded bar, nabbing an empty spot as soon as it opened. You rested your arms on the sticky countertop, tapping your pointed nails as you waited for one of the bartenders to acknowledge you. While you were watching a particularly flamboyant and agile bartender toss and flip his shaker, you heard a voice call from your side.
“Hey, how you doin’?”
Oh jeez.
Your immediate reaction was to give whoever spoke a fake and dismissive smile, but something about the way they sounded intrigued you. Was that an accent? It was hard to tell with the volume of the music.
Taking a chance, you turned your head to the right.
Ooh. Okay then. Hottie in your vicinity.
Decent height. Short black hair. Very handsome with a unique nose and full lips.
A very real smile automatically took over your glossy lips.
“Hey. Couldn’t be any better.”
The good-looking stranger shot you a megawatt grin, complete with dimples and everything.
“That’s good. You looked like you were having fun out there.”
Your torso turned towards him a little more.
“You were watching me?”
“Kind of hard not to.”
This type of exchange had become familiar to you lately. Someone walked up and tried to hit on you by complimenting your dancing skills. Depending on the person, it had a 50/50 chance of working. But hearing this guy do it in his (what you quickly identified as) Aussie accent upped the probability.
Would he get any farther than this, though?
“Oh?”
“Yup. Made me think you might live here with the way you were moving to those songs.”
A giggle escaped you, to your surprise.
“What can I say? I’m one with the music.”
The man next to you repeated your laugh, eyes squinting in delight.
“Oh, I believe it. Oops, where’s my manners?”
He held a hand out towards you, causing your eyes to travel up his muscular arm in intrigue. Whoa. Look at those biceps. Bless this man for wearing a sleeveless shirt tonight.
“I’m Chan.”
Right. Pay attention, Y/N. Take his hand and speak!
“Y/N. Nice to meet you, Chan.”
The mystery hottie named Chan gave you a handshake with enough pressure to wonder if he was holding back. With the muscle he was packing, surely he was hiding his strength.
“Likewise! You mind if I buy you a drink?”
You shrugged, lips quirked upwards.
“If you’re offering, sure.”
Chan grinned, taking your drink order before continuing to have a mild conversation with you. It seemed like it was going to take a while before the two of you were acknowledged. You didn’t mind, finding him to be pleasant to speak to. From his appearance alone, you assumed that he would be one of those cocky muscleheads who did the bare minimum when it came to chatting up women.
Oh, did he prove you wrong.
He was actually rather sweet in the way he spoke to you, asking if your night was going well so far. The man was particularly tickled in your retelling of some of the disastrous events from the dancefloor, letting out giggles that made him even more endearing in your eyes. You almost didn’t want the drinks to come; that’s how much you were enjoying his presence.
But after the first and even second drink, you were still talking to Chan, the both of you sitting on stools now.
This was odd. Your main goal was usually to come and dance up a storm at this club, not chat with a complete stranger. It was like Chan was a magnet. Pulling you in and keeping you by his side unless some opposing force came in and tugged you away.
You spoke too soon, it seemed. For the DJ made a familiar announcement that had your ears perking up.
“Alright y’all, I’m lovin’ this crowd tonight, the energy is beautiful up in here! But now I wanna turn it up a notch. In a few minutes, you’ll see what I mean!”
Damn. Your favorite part of the night was coming up.
How could you cut this interaction short, though? You weren’t quite ready to stop talking to Chan…
But…
You let out a sigh when his head was turned, not wanting him to think you were tired of his presence. Far from it.
“Hey Chan?”
He looked back at you, raising a dark brow.
“What’s up?”
“I hate to break up our little chat, but I’d like to get back to the floor.”
Chan seemed to be averse to your departure, full lips pouting in disappointment. Cute.
“That’s a shame, I was enjoying your company.”
You gave an apologetic smile, not really wanting to split yet either.
“The feeling’s mutual, trust me. But the DJ’s about to play some fire music and I don’t really want to miss it.”
He now raised his other brow in intrigue.
“Better than what’s already been playing?”
“Mhm! I mean, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I like it.”
Just as Chan was about to speak again, you heard a familiar tune float out of the speakers, your head whipping towards the dancefloor. A chorus of cheers and hollers erupted from the crowd, a few people running from their seats to join the wave of grinding bodies. Your fingers twitched around your glass.
You were dying to be out there.
And then you looked back at your companion.
But something was telling you leaving this man would be a mistake.
If he was really interested, maybe he wouldn’t mind waiting for you to finish your dance. And if he was the impatient kind, then tough shit.
“Chan—”
“Is this what you were waiting for?”
The interruption made you blink, nodding as you watched an inquisitive expression take over his handsome face. After a moment, he smirked.
“Dancehall, huh? Great taste.”
He appreciated this kind of music too? What else were you going to add onto the one-sided list of pros and cons?
“Thanks. I didn’t picture you as the type to know about this.”
Chan’s dark eyes widened, looking taken aback.
“Of course I do! I listen to almost anything. But this stuff right here, this is no joke. I don’t blame you for wanting to go.”
You couldn’t hold back a grin, no matter how hard you tried. Why couldn’t there be more people like him? You definitely had to catch up after you were finished.
Just as you were about to express your gratitude, Chan cocked his head and spoke, “Actually…”
The expectant look he gave was outright charming.
“Do you mind if I join?”
Uh oh.
Here we go. Damn, and it was all going so well too.
Not that you didn’t want to get the chance to grind up on this attractive man, but if he messed up out there, it just might change your overwhelmingly positive opinion on him.
You’d have to turn him down. It sucked, but it was for his own good.
Alright, just remember how this went the last time someone dared to ask you to dance.
Lowering your lids, you rested an elbow on the counter, clasping your hands together while your mouth flattened into a humorless line.
“You can’t keep up with me.”
This man wasn’t fazed by your dismissal. If anything, he seemed to enjoy the challenge, reflecting your position before a tongue came out to run over his straight teeth.
“Don’t count me out yet, baby.”
Your cold front cracked a mite at the nickname and the way Chan seemed so confident in himself. Was it real? Or was he just bullshitting until he got onto the floor with you and made a fool of himself?
The drinks you had must have been extra strong tonight as you found your resolve wavering faster than usual.
Well, only one way to answer your questions.
“Fine.”
Straightening up, you brushed some loose hairs out of your face before lifting your chin up a bit. You held a hand out towards your challenger.
“Let’s see if you can back up that mouth.”
You would think Chan had won the lottery with the dazzling grin he gave. He wasted no time in taking your palm in his, warm and heavy and leaving you wondering what it could be capable of. There was time for that later, if he played his cards right.
Now you were leading him onto the dancefloor, bobbing and weaving through the gyrating club-goers. You glanced back to see if there was any hesitation on his face as you pulled him into the middle.
Nothing.
If anything, he seemed even more excited.
Interesting.
Once you found a spot large enough for the two of you, you turned to face him, raising a brow.
“Last chance.”
Chan chuckled, shaking his head at your warning.
“Ready whenever you are.”
Lips quirking, you took a head start, quickly identifying what point of the song was playing right now. Your body began responding to the beats, hips popping side to side as you kept your eyes locked with his own. He was quick to follow you in succession, starting off with simple two-steps, albeit with a little more flourish than the other dancers.
You noticed how easily Chan seemed to catch the tempo on his own. His eyes never straying from yours to watch your movements in hopes to imitate them.
So far, so good.
But this was only the beginning.
Deciding to go up a level, you stepped closer to him. Leaving only a few inches between your bodies, you allowed your hips to come so close to brushing against his. Watching his face to see if he would flinch or back down, your curiosity was intrigued when he did neither.
In fact, Chan closed the gap before placing those strong hands of his on your waist. The touch made a jolt go up your spine, intensified by the smirk he shot down at you next.
“This alright?”
Either it was the music or the distraction from his warm palms that almost had you missing what he said.
“Yeah.”
From then on, you both remained silent, letting your bodies do the talking.
Your dance partner matched your moves with little second-guessing, even taking the lead at times. After a certain point, Chan took one of your hands to spin you around a few times, a laugh escaping your lips at the gesture. The sound stopped when you felt him pull your back flush against his front, gut twisting at the heat and firmness of his body. You almost missed your next step, but you were quick to collect yourself.
This gesture was a lot more intimate than before, the atmosphere taking a slight turn into something a bit sultry. It didn’t help that the man behind you took to resting his head next to yours, lowering the percentage of your body that wasn’t pressed against his. You could feel his breath occasionally washing over your cheek.
“Tired of me yet?”
Is he for real?
“Not at all. I’m liking what I’m seeing so far.”
Chan chuckled, lips vibrating against your ear. “Good.”
The two of you continued your dancing, the next couple of songs passing by swiftly. You were happy to see that he wasn’t full of shit when it came to his skills. You even challenged him by throwing a sudden move in at random moments, wanting to catch him off-guard. But he was quick on the draw, following any dips or grinds with ease.
The chance that you would spend more time with Chan later was growing by the second.
But then the DJ started transitioning into a tune that you knew all too well. You couldn’t help but wonder whether your companion could handle this kind of song or if it’d be a little too far out of his league.
“Oh shit! Haven’t heard this one in a while.”
What?
Chan couldn’t see your brows raising until you turned your head, surprised by the eager expression on his handsome face.
“This song?”
“Yup.” He cocked his head at the disbelief in your eyes. “What?”
“Sure you can handle this?”
Just like before, there was no caution to your question, his lips twisting into a secure smirk.
“Wait and see.”
You hoped he didn’t feel the tremble that ran through your body just now. Something about the sheer confidence of this man got to you with little effort.
Not wanting to keep him waiting, you faced forward once again, hips starting to roll to the familiar rhythm. You were slower and more deliberate in your movements this time, trying to take the lead. Chan seemed to have other plans, though, tightening his hold on you before pulling you back just as he was grinding forward.
Whoa.
There wasn’t an ounce of modesty in that move just now. Alright, don’t back down, Y/N.
You raised your arms in the air, starting to lower your body down. Chan followed suit until the two of you were nearly squatting, giving you a little more leverage to work with. You weren’t shy in winding your hips back, the fabrics of your pants providing friction every time the two of you made contact. A part of you was hoping he’d slip up a bit, just to know you were having an effect on him. It wouldn’t influence your currently high opinion of him at all.
But if he was getting worked up, it wasn’t showing in the way he closed whatever gap was between and grinded from the bottom of your ass all the way to the top.
Oh no.
Godammit, you could feel whatever he was hiding in those pants of his rubbing against every inch of your bottom. And now your stimulated brain was running with scenarios of just what could be in his pants.
You swallowed hard.
Were you actually getting turned on from dancing alone? This was a first.
Okay, focus.
Push back, Y/N, push back.
It didn’t do much, of course. Especially since he practically jerked his hips forward all of a sudden. If it wasn’t for his hands, you would’ve stumbled in shock.
Thank God he couldn’t see the flustered expression on your face right now.
“Mind if I try something, baby?”
Oh? Something else up his sleeve…well, lack of sleeve.
You shook your head, only to have Chan maneuver your body so you were bent over at the waist, much to your surprise.
What he did next almost had you keeling over in a stupor.
The man behind you took a firm hold of your hips before grinding against you with everything he had in his well-muscled body.
Oh. Shit. Fucking shit.
You know, maybe you shouldn’t have assumed Chan wouldn’t be up to par. Because if it wasn’t for your clothes, this man would be straight-up fucking you on the dancefloor right now.
No no no. This could not continue, not unless he wanted you to pounce on him in the middle of this crowd.
You had to take the reins and let him know that you weren’t backing down.
Straightening your body up, you took his hands and pulled them away before spinning around to face him.
Okay, this was your last resort. Surely he wouldn’t be able to handle this move.
Tickled at the confused expression on Chan’s handsome face, you went and hooked your leg around his waist, giving back just as much force as he did when he rolled from behind. Judging by the way he bit his lip, you must have caught him off-guard.
Alas, your victory lap was cut short when those same lips twisted into a wicked smirk. You realized how screwed you were when he took a firm hold of your waist and repeated the motion from earlier. This was a huge mistake!
There was no cushioning to protect you from the sensation of his clothed crotch grinding against yours.
Goddamn. You were wrong yet again.
Feeling Chan rub against you over and over again started a familiar heat between your legs that increased with each grind. You were quickly losing control over your body, having to grab onto his firm shoulders to steady yourself. Your eyes remained steady on his own, though, even if you wanted to close them while pleasure slowly crept up your spine.
You were looking for some sign on your dance partner’s face that he was being affected as well. Something. But there wasn’t much to work with. His smile was no longer present, but the rest of his expression remained impassive. Maybe he just had a really good poker face?
You managed to hold back on making any obscene sounds until a roll at a certain angle brushed right where your clit was. Oh fuck. Did you just moan out loud? At least the music covered it up…hopefully.
Just when you felt like you were about to pin this man and ride him like a prize horse, the song ended, music returning back into its usual genre. The bubble of lust around you and Chan burst with the shift. But the air still felt heavy. Especially with the way the two of you would just not stop staring at each other.
There was no way this would be the end of your interaction with the handsome stranger tonight.
Absolutely not.
You were pleased to see that you weren’t the only one who had broken a sweat, the edge of Chan’s hairline shining and dotted with light perspiration.
“How was that?”
What? That’s all he had to say? After the way he spun, writhed and bent you over, that’s what came out of his mouth?!
Alright. He wanted an answer? You would give him one.
With your eyes narrowing for a moment, you made a grab for his hand before beginning to drag him through the dancing bodies. You narrowly avoided having your foot stepped on until the two of you hit an open area. Spotting the hallway leading to the bathrooms, you kept pulling on Chan until you were deep enough to not be interrupted.
You swiftly turned around to have your back facing the wall. Chan’s mouth opened in what was sure to be a question until you grabbed his shoulders and tugged him down to attach your lips to his.
There was his damn answer.
He seemed to like it as you felt a groan rumble against you before those strong hands of his made a grab for your hips once more. You felt him tug until they were pressed to his.
Oh. Now you could tell that the grinding had some kind of effect on him.
Chan didn’t give you reprieve, snaking his tongue out to pry your mouth open. He was on a mission as he landed on your own appendage, tangling with controlled movements that had you feeling weaker than before. Between that and the nips to your lower lip he’d give occasionally, you would forget just where you guys were.
In a nightclub across the hall from restrooms with semi-questionable hygiene. Probably had a few drunks tossing their cookies in there too.
The more you thought about it, the more you realized that this wasn’t an ideal spot. You wanted to get a taste of whether Chan’s moves were only designated to the dancefloor or not.
When he broke off to begin planting kisses on your neck, you mustered up the strength to air your intentions.
“I wanna get out of here.”
Another kiss. “With me?”
“No, by myself— Ah—”
The nibble underneath your jaw made your words catch, much to Chan’s humor, judging by his tone as he teased, “Aw, I thought we were having such a good time together, baby.”
Clicking your tongue, you reached up to give an earlobe a light tug. “Stop that.”
“Stop what?”
“Pissing me off.”
An unexpected giggle came out before he whispered in your ear, “But you’re so hot when you’re mad.”
This man.
“You’re gonna see me real mad if we don’t leave this damn club.”
Another laugh came from Chan as pulled his head back to look at you.
“Fine, fine. Where are we going?”
“Your place, my place, a hotel, I don’t fucking care.”
You probably sounded whiny, but at least he seemed to share the sentiment as he stepped back.
“Well, lucky for you, my place is a few blocks away. C’mon.”
He held a hand out that you immediately took, allowing Chan to escort you through the club and to the front doors, ready to continue the night away from wandering eyes.
Tumblr media
Chan wasn’t joking when he said he only lived a few blocks down, but it felt like longer to you, thanks to how fucking horny you were.
It was so bad that you almost tugged him down an alleyway whenever the two of you had to wait at an intersection to cross. But oddly, having his thumb occasionally rub the back of your hand would ground you a bit. Well, that and the charming smile he’d shoot down.
It was almost like he could tell how restless you were.
Finally, he led you into an apartment building and straight to the elevator, the ride going up a few floors before you both got off.
Chan pulled a set of keys out of his pocket as the two of you headed down the hall to a door with a welcome mat that had a picture of a cat on it. The sight was unexpected and brought a tiny giggle out of you.
“It’s not mine, my roommate picked it out.”
“Chan, you don’t have to lie. I think it’s cute!”
He paused in unlocking the door to shoot a pout.
“I’m not!”
“Uh huh.”
Realizing he wasn’t going to change your mind, he rolled his eyes and got the door open, motioning you to step in first before locking it behind him. As soon as the two of you took your shoes off, he reached for your hand once again and began walking.
Guess you weren’t going to get a good look at his apartment right now.
Chan guided you down a hallway before stopping in front of one of the doors, presumably his bedroom. He grabbed the doorknob and turned it to push the door open, only for the smile on his face to drop.
You couldn’t see what the problem was until you peeked around his body, spotting a desk setup with a sizable computer monitor against one of the walls. And in the chair in front of it was a person, clearly immersed in the game they were playing.
“Get out, Felix.”
Chan’s concealed irritation caught the attention of the man named Felix, swiveling his chair around to shoot a bothered look. His appearance was the polar opposite of his roommate’s, slender with softer facial features and blond hair that draped over the back of his neck. In your eyes, he was, dare you say, quite a pretty man.
“But I’m almost done with this level, bro!”
Oh wow. Didn’t expect that voice to come out of that face.
Your lover for the night growled under his breath before addressing him once again with a little more attitude.
“Mate, get out of here! You’ve been in that chair since I left hours ago, go do something productive, for Chrissakes!”
Felix’s eyes narrowed at Chan, tsking before turning back around, clicking the mouse and keyboard harder than necessary. In a minute, the bright colors on the screen disappeared, leaving nothing but a basic desktop wallpaper illuminating the room. The leaner man pushed the chair back and stood up before heading towards the two of you.
“Asshole. This is me being productive.”
Clearly Chan wasn’t having it, dark eyes still boring a hole in the other as he gently moved both of your bodies aside so Felix could leave the room. But just before he hit the threshold, he stopped in his tracks, looking you up and down with thinly-veiled curiosity.
“Aren’t you at least going to introduce me to your new friend?”
Chan seemed ready to tell him off, yet reined it in at the last second, his broad shoulders lifting and lowering as he sighed with exasperation. He held out a free hand to gesture between you and Felix.
“Felix, Y/N. Y/N, Felix.”
The both of you waved to each other, Felix’s pretty face stretching into a cheeky smile.
“Hey Y/N. Hopefully Chan doesn’t drool on you while he’s on top.”
This seemed to be the last straw for the muscled man, letting out some colorful words before letting go of your hand. He placed both of his on Felix’s shoulders, turning him towards the hallway in order to push him out with more force than necessary. This didn’t seem to bother the other man, laughing at both of your reactions.
Just as Chan was grabbing the door, Felix seemed to have one last thing to say.
“Oh, and the back of his neck is his weak spot!”
Your brows lifted in intrigue just as the door was slammed in the other’s face, watching as the lock was turned with a loud click. You heard Chan mumbling under his breath, only able to hear the words ‘dick’ and ‘cunt’ and something about the electric bill, lips twitching in amusement until he turned towards you with a sigh. A hand came up to rub the back of his neck.
“’M sorry about that. My roommate can be a real pain in the ass sometimes.”
You giggled, stepping close to take said hand in yours, giving it a light squeeze.“No worries. Not the worst situation I’ve walked into.”
That adorable smile of his made a comeback, thanks to your reassurance.
“Good. Oh, and whatever he said was bullshit.”
Your head cocked to the side as you played with his fingers.
“What was?”
Chan huffed lightly at how you were playing games, placing his free hand on your hip to pull you flush against his firm body.
“How I drool.”
You looked off to the side, pretending to recollect what Felix had said before looking up at him once again.
“Oh yeah? Because I was more curious about the other thing he mentioned.”
You felt the hold on your hip move slowly towards your ass before cupping it.
“The neck thing?”
“Yes.”
Chan’s lips peeled back, flashing straight teeth. “You’ll have to find out for yourself.”
Your smile matched his to a T, taking your other hand to wrap around the back of his neck and pull him into a kiss. It had been too long since his luscious lips were on yours.
The two of you picked up on where you had left off at the club, with less concern about who would see what was going on. It was just you and Chan in this lamp-lit room, tongues and teeth working .
Just when you were ready to take things up a notch, you felt his grip on both sides of your hips before he began guiding you to walk backwards. Your legs automatically moved in response, only stopping when he tightened his hold.
Chan broke the kiss, allowing you to realize that you were at the foot of his bed now. He didn’t give you time to think more on it, reaching for the hem of your top. With a quick glance at your face, he waited for your nod before starting to work the garment up and off. There was a bit of fumbling towards the end, thanks to the multiple straps, but he managed to divulge you of it.
The swear that left him at the sight of your bare breasts made your lips tilt and your ego stroked. You let him admire you for a little longer until the urge to see what was hiding under his shirt became too strong to delay.
Your hands reached for it, thankful that he lifted his arms up the second your fingers brushed the fabric. You removed it faster than your own top, eyes trained on every inch of skin that was revealed. Within no time, you were granted a full view of his exposed torso, jaw dropping at the sight.
“Oh shit…”
You had figured Chan was well-muscled, thanks to his exposed arms and the way he felt against your softer body, but this was insane.
A chiseled chest that rose and fell with heavy breaths. Rippling abs that tightened with each inhale. Just…straight-up muscle. How often did he go to the gym to be blessed with a body like this?
“Y/N.”
Chan’s amused voice cut into your foggy thoughts, making you blink in shock. Oops. Did you space out?
You heard a chuckle before a hand came up to carefully hold your chin, tipping your head back up, making sure your eyes were on his own and not his figure. Chan didn’t seem offended at all; if anything, the twinkle in his dark eyes expressed flattery.
“I don’t mind you staring, but I’d really like to get my hands on you now, babygirl.”
Oh. Well, you couldn’t say no to that at all.
You gave an eager nod, receiving one of his adorable giggles before his lips captured yours again. While you were occupied, you felt him begin to work on your pants, undoing them enough to be able to slide them down. The kiss broke once the waistband went over the curve of your ass, Chan crouching down to bring your bottoms down to your ankles.
Good thing you picked one of your best-looking (albeit somewhat uncomfortable) pairs of panties today; he was getting an eyeful at the moment.
“What the fuck, you’re so hot—”
If you weren’t careful, you were going to leave this place with a big head with the way he was throwing praise your way. Despite the way your cheeks were flaming, you played it cool, reaching down to tip Chan’s chin up now, directing his admiring gaze up to your face.
“You already got me in your room, no need to lay it on thick.”
Chan’s eyes creased in the corners as he grinned, another giggle escaping from his dimpled smile.
“Sorry. My mouth tends to beat my brain sometimes.”
How this man could go from confident to adorable in a split second was a mystery to you.
But you could try and solve it later; right now, you needed him back up here.
“It’s alright, baby—”
You motioned him to stand up, wrapping your arms around his taut waist before pressing your bare breasts against his torso.
“Never said I didn’t like compliments.”
Chan huffed in enjoyment, laying his hands on your hips.
“Good to know.”
A giggle escaped before he swooped down to cover your mouth with his own, making quick work of prying your lips apart with his tongue. You opened up with little resistance, but it widened when you felt a firm grip on your ass out of nowhere. The way Chan kneaded it had you melting into his touch, forgetting about any other part of your body that wasn’t squished against his right now.
Which was why you were surprised to find yourself falling backwards all of a sudden, body bouncing on top of his bed.
Chan chuckled at the bewilderment on your face before crawling on top of you, lust-filled eyes traveling over your sprawled figure.
“I almost didn’t approach you, y’know.”
The confession caught you off-guard, causing your brows to furrow.
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
The man above you leaned in to begin pressing kisses over your jawline and neck, throwing in nips in between that made your breath hitch.
“I saw how you kept turning down all those poor bastards. Kept wondering if I should even bother taking a chance.”
A dig of Chan’s teeth into a hot spot right under your ear had you gasping, followed by a soft moan as he soothed the bite with his tongue.
“But you went ahead and did.”
A puff of air against your neck as he chuckled.
“Only after I had a drink.”
You matched his laugh, deciding to rest your idle hands on his back, savoring the expanse of muscle underneath.
“Nothing wrong with liquid courage. I’m glad you came over.”
Chan lifted his head after pressing his lips to your collarbone, eyes sparked with wonder.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm.”
You felt a light tremble run through him when your nails dragged over his skin.
“You definitely proved yourself tonight. That was the most fun I’ve had in that club in ages.”
Thanks to the lamp, you could see the tips of Chan’s ears flushing, his cheeks lifting in bashfulness. To go from devouring your neck to flustering at your words in such a short span of time…what duality.
“Glad to hear it. Besides—”
Your hips jolted when you felt his own press down, the unmistakable feel of his erection making itself known.
“The fun’s only beginning, no?”
Shy Chan has officially left the building. Especially with the groan he gave when you rolled up into him.
“Yes, it is.”
Leaning up to grab more kisses, you were only granted the indulgence for a short while before he broke away. Motioning you to lay back again, he was quick to replace his mouth on your skin, traveling down until he reached your breasts. Chan gave attention to the sensitive area, alternating between feathery licks and thorough sucks.
You were eager to let him know how well he was doing with back arches and moans, nails still tracing patterns on his warm skin. Although the patterns were broken whenever a tug or scrape of his teeth occurred.
“Chan—”
A grunt vibrated against your nipple before he pulled off to rasp, “I’m trying to be patient here, baby, but you’re making it hard for me.”
You huffed and looked down to see an impatient expression aimed up at you.
“How do you think I feel? I was so close to doing you in that club.”
Chan’s eyes lidded at your reveal, tongue running over his swollen lips.
“Well, I could’ve fucked you in the middle of that dance floor.”
A shiver ran through your body. Just the thought of him possibly doing such a crude act had your pussy throbbing harder than before.
“Oh yeah?”
“Mhm. Anyone tried to stop me, I would’ve decked the cunt.”
Fuck, why did that sound so hot?
He didn’t allow you to think on it any longer as he continued to trail kisses down your body, skimming over your stomach until he reached the top of your panties. His hands were quick to come up and lay on both of your inner thighs, pushing them further apart to improve his view of what laid between them.
With the way he was staring, you would have thought he was trying to see through the damn underwear itself.
Just as you were about to interject with something witty, Chan chose to make a move and latch his lips where your clit was, ripping a gasp out of you.
“Ah!”
The sudden shock melted into tingles of pleasure as he began with light sucks, sometimes pausing to lap his tongue over the damp fabric instead.
“Fuck, Chan…”
“Like that, baby?”
You huffed, “No, it’s not enough.”
An inquisitive hum sounded from below, Chan’s mouth pausing its actions (much to your dismay).
“Is that so?”
This guy.
“You know so. Just take them off.”
All you received was a giggle and a shake of the head. “Not yet.”
You groaned his name in annoyance, making him laugh harder, teeth on full display.
“You’re cute when you’re mad, you know that?”
To think you would get so flustered by him. It even made you giggle. “Thank you, but—”
You reached down and tapped his forehead.
“I’m starting to think you’re forcing yourself to do this.”
Chan gave you a look of mock offense.
“Of course not!”
“Uh huh. Sure.”
He rolled his eyes, hooking his finger under the elastic before letting it snap. “I’m serious, Y/N. This is me holding back right now.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah—”
Chan brushed his lips against your clothed center and husked, “I’d do anything to taste this pussy of yours.”
A shiver traveled through you at his words.
“Anything?”
He kissed you again. “Mhm.”
A certain thought bloomed in your mind from the conversation. You might be pushing it by saying it out loud, but fuck it.
“Would you even let me sit on your face?”
A groan vibrated against your core. “Fuck yes, I would.”
A smirk came over your swollen lips. Hearing the near desperate way he spoke had you going further, toying with the idea before deciding to take a chance. You were feeling very lucky tonight, as it is.
“Well then?”
Chan looked up at you in surprise. He stared until he realized you were serious, mirroring your grin.
“If you insist.”
He sat up and motioned you to move aside so he could sit back and prepare for what was to come. Waiting until Chan got comfortable, you kept your eyes locked on his as you slowly removed your sodden underwear. You almost giggled at how he broke the staring contest, fixated on the now exposed area. Tossing the garment off to who knows where, you poked one of his pecs to catch his attention, letting the laugh escape at the sheepish expression he donned.
He was quick to apologize before laying flat on his back, head just below the pillows. He then pointed to his face, a cheeky grin pasted on now.
“Take a seat.”
You were quick to scoot up and follow his invitation until a thought came through at the last second. Just as you were about to straddle Chan’s head, you turned your body before climbing on, facing towards his lower body instead.
“Oy, what are you doing?”
You hummed before giving his firm stomach a pat. “Enjoying the view.”
A laugh rang from behind as you felt his warm hands cup the top of your ass.
“Cheeky.”
He didn’t give you a moment to reply as he pushed your hips down, ripping a sound out of you as you sat on his tongue now. With slow precision, Chan began lapping at your slick skin, electricity running up your spine before blooming into spreading heat. It didn’t take long before you began moaning at the contact, back arching in enjoyment.
Guess kissing wasn’t the only thing he was good at.
Chan continued to lick at you, dipping into each crevice with varying pressure. Just when you were about to whine when he was too light, he’d increase the strength, throwing you for a loop. There were a few times where you’d nearly lose your balance, tightening your core muscles to prevent yourself from falling over. But after a while, you couldn’t take it anymore, abdominals screaming for mercy.
You had to brace yourself somehow. Scrambling for somewhere to hold onto, your eyes landed on the rippled expanse below you.
Ah. Perfect.
Just as you felt a harsh suck to your folds, your palms landed on Chan’s abs.
Damn.
Did this guy have rocks under his skin or what?
Just as your fingers began exploring every ridge on his waist, you felt something clamp around your throbbing clit before giving a pull.
“Fuck!”
If it wasn’t for his strong hands, you would have bucked down into his face. The temptation grew the more he continued.
Okay, you couldn’t just sit still (well, as still as you could be with his mouth working you over). You needed to suck his dick. Now.
Collecting yourself as much as possible, you put some more weight on your lower body so you could reach for Chan’s pants. Your fingers fumbled a bit, but you managed to get the button and his fly undone. Parting the fabric, you got a better view of the thick outline pressing against his black underwear, sliding your hand under the elastic band to get a feel of it. The second your fingertips went underneath, you felt the body under you give a jolt. Only when your hand wrapped around his cock did he relax.
Damn. Whatever you were holding, you had to see it for yourself.
You pulled Chan’s length out of his underwear, jaw dropping at its appearance.
Nice and thick, perfect for stretching your needy walls out when the time came. But for now…
You lowered your torso to rest on Chan’s, mouth immediately getting to work once his dick was in proximity. The second your tongue touched the velvety skin, vibrations hummed against your pussy. They only increased in frequency the more you incorporated the muscle. Eventually, you chose to take him fully in your mouth, pulling back in enough time to avoid choking as his hips jerked.
Wrapping your fist around the base, your head began bobbing in your own rhythm, hearing and feeling the muffled grunts and groans from behind. You missed Chan’s lips on your cunt when he pulled away at one point, but it was remedied by the praise he gave.
“That’s it, baby…oh shit—”
You smiled around his dick, deciding to throw in a few hums of your own, savoring the way he dug his fingers into the curve of your ass.
“So glad you came up with this—“
A jiggle of one of your cheeks pulled a muffled moan out of you.
“I get to have a great view and feel that mouth.”
So he was an ass man, huh?
Your observation was solidified when you gave it a little shake that rewarded you with a curse. In no time, Chan returned to giving your most intimate area attention again, sending waves of bliss coursing up your spine again.
Between you and him, the room filled up with lewd sounds and noises. Slowly a knot began to form in your guy, encouraging you to up your movements. You provided more suction, receiving a buck of the hips that caught you off-guard. A light gag emitted as his tip hit the top of your throat.
Chan was quick to pull off, speaking in a huskier voice than before, “Shit, sorry. You alright?”
You let him out of your mouth, his wet cock bouncing back down onto his lap.
“Yeah, I’m good.”
You didn’t even give him a chance to continue, leaning down to lick up the bead of precum on his flushed head. The moan he gave was absolutely worth it.
“What the fuck— Your mouth is too good.”
You laughed, pressing a kiss below his belly button.
“So I’ve heard.”
Another swear echoed from behind before you felt his hands pushing at your hips. Picking up what he was asking for, you swiftly climbed off, only to feel those same hands tugging at you again. Before you knew it, you ended up on your back with Chan perched over you, looking more fiery thanks to the dual act.
The blown-out pupils in his dark brown irises, combined with his sweat-covered brow, glistening mouth and chin made him look like a feral man, ready to devour every inch of you.
Good. So you were on equal grounds; you were ready to satiate his appetite too.
“You’re killin’ me, Y/N.”
A brow lifted. “The feeling’s mutual.”
Chan grunted before pressing his forehead onto yours, eyes zeroed in on your own.
“Is it?”
“Yeah, it is—”
Your pitch grew when you felt fingers skimming over your damp center, biting your lip when you felt one of them circle your clit.
“Hm, sure feels like it. Just when I thought you couldn’t get any wetter…”
A good portion of that was contributed to Chan working you up with his mouth. Hell, you could feel yourself pushing out a drop right now because of his touch.
“You must be feeling good about it—!”
Yet again, he caught you off-guard by prodding between your lower lips, teasing your twitching hole with his index finger.
“Damn right I am.”
He wouldn’t let you come up with another retort, applying pressure until the tip began sinking in, your breath hitching. The sudden intrusion gave way to a pleasant stretch as he pushed even further, up until you felt his knuckle brushing outside.
“Chan—”
Your lover merely hummed, starting to pump slowly as he continued to stare down at you.
“You feel like you’re ready for me, baby.”
Your hips bucked when he sped up for a moment before slowing down.
“I am.”
Chan’s teeth flashed, the impishness contrasting the actions of his hand.
“Nah, nevermind. You’re not ready.”
Frustration began building inside as he continued teasing you, a huff escaping your swollen lips.
“You’re such an ass.”
One of your favorite giggles came out while he pressed his index finger against your entrance.
“Am I?”
Despite the mild burn from the stretch as he added the digit, your hand came up to swat one of his solid pecs.
“Yes! Working me up like this and then laughing—”
This man just loved to torture you, didn’t he? For he decided to go searching and quickly found that rough spot inside that made your back arch.
“Fuck!”
“I don’t know, sweetheart, you don’t sound very mad right now.”
You were about to swear at him again, but he gave a few solid presses that made a lewd sound emit, making your face burn and your hips jerk.
“Godammit Chan—!”
Chan continued to play dumb, peering down at you with a look of mock concern.
“What’s wrong? My fingers not enough for you, babygirl?”
“N-No— I need more!”
Hums and tilts his head, still thrusting his fingers.
“You sure?”
That’s it.
“Chan, you son of a bitch, if you don’t fuck me right now—”
One of his trademark giggles escaped at your attitude.
“Alright, alright, I hear ya.”
Pulling his fingers out with a squelch, you sighed in relief when he went to grab a condom from his nightstand.
“Thank you, baby.”
Chan gave a chuckle as he prepared himself, quick to climb back on once he was fully sheathed. Just as you figured he would get straight to business, he surprised you by stealing a kiss from you. One kiss long enough to distract you until you felt him poking your folds. With that, you couldn’t wait any longer.
Pulling your lips away a bit, you husked against his own, “Come on.”
For once, your lover didn’t have a quip, choosing to give you what you so desired. Either that or he was hiding his own needs well, for Chan began guiding himself inside, pulling an audible moan out of you. Okay, maybe having his fingers beforehand was a good thing; the stretch he was giving you was something else.
“Shit, Chan—“
He seemed to be affected by the way your walls practically swallowed his dick, a knit between sweat-covered brows and his teeth bared as he ground out, “This pussy is so fuckin’ tight— Worth the wait.”
A grunt came out as you involuntarily clamped down at the words, forcing his hips to pause on his trek. But as soon as you loosened, Chan continued to push forward until he bottomed out, leaving you full and yearning for more.
Thankfully, you two seemed to be on the same wavelength now, for he didn’t hesitate on starting up a rhythm, slow but steady.
You were quickly affected by the friction, wrapping your legs around his hard and built waist to keep him as close to you as possible. Soft pants escalated into thorough moans, the sparks deep in your gut beginning to light a fire that spread to every end of your body.
“Mm, that’s it…”
Chan chuckled at your encouragement, running a tongue over his reddened lips as he gazed down at you.
“Just what you wanted, eh?”
Yes. This was just what you wanted.
To have him moving inside of you, rolling those hips just like he was doing on the dancefloor. Every inch of his cock stroked all of your sweet spots and his pelvis grinded against your pulsating clit, leaving you an absolute mess underneath his muscled body. It didn’t help when he began whispering all sorts of praise and filth into your ear.
Eventually, you found your body craving more and dug your nails into the tight muscles on his back.
“Chan—”
“Mm?”
It took a little longer than expected to respond, but you managed.
“Fuck me harder, please—”
Did you mean to sound that whiny? Not at all.
But it seemed to be worth it as Chan’s demeanor changed a bit, some of the humor leaving his expression. From the way you felt him twitch inside, your begging hit a nerve.
A nerve that had him nodding before starting to practically pound into you. You didn’t know what to classify the sound that left your mouth as, but it was loud and it was sharp.
This man’s hips were too powerful. Every thrust inched you further up the bed, to the point where you had to plant your hands on the headboard for support. The last thing you wanted was a concussion.
Well, this was what you asked for and he was gladly giving it to you.
Chan himself was pleased with the change of pace, judging by the more frequent moans and groans leaving him.
“Goddamn, Y/N—”
Fuck, he sounded so good like this. Like a man unleashing secret desires after hiding them for so long. Maybe you should’ve encouraged him to go all out sooner.
His sense of rhythm was also strong in the bedroom, it seems. The way your skin clapped against his added to the pleasant melody that was both of your cries and words jumbling together in the musky room.
Among all of the carnal noises the both of you were releasing, you could have sworn you heard three thumps in succession. Almost like someone was banging on the wall.
Eh, probably your imagination.
Out of nowhere, Chan stilled his hips before beginning to slip out of you. An indignant cry left your swollen lips at the withdrawal, propping yourself up on your elbows to scowl up at your lover.
“What the fuck?!”
You weren’t surprised to see his mouth curl at your response. This guy and being amused by your anger was a combo that you were about to tire of.
Chan reached a hand out to give your hip a pat before scooting back a bit, husking out, “Turn that ass over, babygirl—”
Oh. That’s why.
His request made your brief irritation disappear in a second and you were swift in complying, forcing your body to react and reposition itself on hands and knees. You felt a palm rub over one of your ass cheeks before giving it a light grope, unable to hold back from doing a little wiggle in response. A groan sounded from behind, followed by the blunt head of Chan’s cock pressing against your entrance before sliding back in.
This position had you clutching the sheets, thanks to how his length stroked areas that he couldn’t reach before. Surely if he rolled his hips again, he’d render your limbs useless due to pleasure.
You didn’t have to wonder much longer as Chan continued his pace with little hesitation. The movement ripped a yelp out of you as you now found yourself supporting your weight on your torso, arms losing stability.
“Ch-Chan!”
You heard a laugh lingering with cockiness from behind before he said something else that tickled you.
“Okay, those pants weren’t doing your ass enough justice.”
The compliment made your lips twitch, the boost to your confidence making you give a solid push back.
“Oh yeah?”
Chan was quick to give a solid thrust, nearly knocking you off your knees.
“Fuck yeah.”
You were ready to give another reply until he continued with the solid thrusts; clearly, there was no more room for conversation. The two of you kept at it, the claps of your skin mixing with every little filth and praise spilling out of you and Chan’s mouths. You enjoyed each moment of it until you started feeling a coil building deep in your stomach, forcing you to get louder in your cries.
It must have tipped Chan off as you felt him lean over your drenched back to whisper in your ear, “You gonna come for me, babygirl?”
“Yes, yes!”
A curse left him before you felt him pull out yet again, but he didn’t give you a chance to cuss him out as he flipped you onto your back and guided his cock back in with little patience. He proceeded with pounding the shit out of you again, the flush in his cheeks doing little to tone down the wolfishness of his smirk.
“Good, wanna feel this sweet cunt squeezing me—“
Ugh. The absolute nerve of this man to give you that blinding grin while he was all up in your guts. And then to speak like that?
You weren’t given much more time to be irate before that pang in your gut increased, thanks to Chan returning to rolling his hips like before. Your poor clit received every ounce of stimulation, pushing you closer and closer to that edge. Needing to hold onto something for stability, you were about to grab for his shoulders before remembering Felix’s little hint from earlier.
Shooting your lover a smirk, you savored the curious look on his face before it was wiped off, thanks to the nails that dug into the back of his neck. You could feel whatever parts of him pressed against you stiffen for a moment, paired with the hitching of his breath.
“So it is true.”
Chan didn’t seem to be as amused as you were, brows furrowing at your teasing. He wouldn’t let you scratch his neck again, reaching behind for your wrists before pinning them down to the bed. The move made you gasp, being left at his mercy now.
“It is. Now be good and let me keep fucking you.”
You didn’t fight against his command one bit. As a reward, the tension in your belly expanded until you couldn’t take it anymore. After a particularly thorough hip roll, the rubber band snapped, forcing a sharp cry to escape your agape mouth filling the room.
Your legs shook next to his still-moving hips, pussy squeezing him on and off with no signs of stopping. After a moment, Chan paused, allowing you to ride out the harsh waves with ease. You could barely notice him watching you fall apart, only focusing when he said something that caught your attention.
“Shit, ‘m gonna come, baby—“
Wanting to make that a reality, you tugged one of your wrists free with some force before landing a hand on the back of his sweat-soaked neck again. He didn’t have a chance to scold you, mouth letting out an unmistakably shaky groan at the sensation of your nails running over the skin. Just a few more passes granted you with the lovely sound and sight of Chan reaching his limit as well.
You felt his cock pulsating between your still contracting walls as he spilled into the condom, hips pressed firmly against yours. Watching your lover’s face knit in sheer gratification was worth all the teasing you endured over the last couple of hours.
Once he was through his orgasm, Chan relaxed his lower half on top of yours, taking care to keep the upper half hovering above. You showed your appreciation with a pat of his back. As nice as his ripped body felt against you, the crushing weight wouldn’t have been ideal at the moment.
“Damn…”
His weak exhale brought a feeble giggle out of you.
“You alright, baby?”
Chan huffed, bringing a hand up to brush a rolling bead of sweat off your brow.
“Should be asking you that, sweetheart.”
You shrugged, hoping your knees would quit shaking soon.
“Still kicking and breathing.”
“Hmm.”
Now that your heart-rate was beginning to return to normal, you were growing aware of just how intense the session had gotten. Every inch of your skin was covered in sweat and the muscles in the lower part of your body were about to start screaming for mercy. And between your legs where Chan was still deeply nestled…
“Chan.”
“Mm?”
You tipped your head back, peering at a familiar package sitting on one of the headboard shelves.
“Mind passing one of those wipes?”

When your eyes opened, two questions went through your mind.
Where were you and what time was it?
In the dimly-lit room, you could tell that it wasn’t the decor you were familiar with. You also didn’t see your alarm clock on your nightstand to inform you of the current time. But after a minute, the fog in your brain began to clear and everything started to come back to you.
The thick arm laying on your waist also helped.
Turning your head, your mouth curled at the sleeping figure next to you. Chan was still dead to the world, plush mouth parted as he snored softly. You had to hold back a giggle at the trail of drool running out. At least it didn’t happen while he was on top.
Fighting the urge to grab a wipe and clean him up, you focused on sneaking out from his hold without waking him up. You managed to lay his arm back down carefully, Chan not even budging a mite. You started looking for your clothes, specifically your pants first. The garment laid at the foot of the bed still and you picked them up, reaching in the back pocket for your phone.
You clicked on the home screen .
8:53 AM.
Whoops. You definitely didn’t mean to stay that long.
Time to go.
You glanced back at Chan. You didn’t want to go without saying goodbye, after the night he gave you, but you weren’t sure if he’d appreciate the interruption to his sleep. Biting your lip, you mulled over it as you quietly redressed.
Once you got your top situated, you made your way to the door, hand resting on the knob as you peeked at him once again.
Should you really leave like this? He did make an impression on you, outside of the bedroom. You weren’t necessarily looking for a relationship with the guy, but you didn’t want this to be the last time you’d see him. Relying on the odds that you’d see him at the club again was risky, too.
Maybe you could find something to write on out there…
Giving Chan’s sleeping form a grateful smile, you carefully opened the door before stepping out into the hallway. Just as you shut it, you heard one opening further down. You looked up to see his roommate appearing, wrapped tight in a cozy blanket. It took him a few seconds to realize you were there, but he was quick to give you a sleepy wave.
“Morning.”
The yawn that followed his greeting made you chuckle, returning his wave.
“Good morning. Slept well?”
Felix shrugged, dark eyes bleary. “Well enough.” Said eyes looked you over before a brow raised. “Sneaking out?”
“Yeah, I think I overstayed my welcome.”
The blond hummed, slipping a hand out of his throw to fix his bedhead. “Understandable. Well, feel free to leave whenever you want, I’m going to go get a brownie to start my day off.”
Before you could make your exit, Felix regarded you for a second before tilting his head.
“Would you like one?”
You blinked, both in surprise and at the fact that this guy was eating a dessert for breakfast. Then again, free food.
“Oh? Um…sure?”
Felix chuckled, a grin forming.
“Don’t be shy, I can always make more. Come on.”
He gestured you to follow him, heading down the hall and towards the kitchen. Sure enough, there was a container of brownies on one of the counters. Your eyes bugged when Felix opened it, showing that it was filled to the brim. No wonder he said to not hold back.
You took two while he picked up three, grabbing some paper towels nearby to lay them on before standing by the island. Once you bit into the pastry, you realized that you were hungrier than you thought. That, and these brownies were fucking delicious.
You were quick to let Felix know, receiving an appreciative smile. Even though you had planned to head on home, you found yourself making small talk with him.
But then he threw out a statement that caught you off guard.
“You guys were pretty loud.”
A crumb almost lodged itself in your throat, cheeks flooding with heat.
“Ah…surprised you didn’t say anything.”
Felix lifted his slender shoulders, not really looking that bothered. “Well, I did bang on the wall a bit, but it didn’t do shit. Just put my headphones on and ended up falling asleep to a movie.”
Damn, were you and Chan that disruptive? Looks like that banging you heard wasn’t in your head, at all.
“Sorry, Felix.”
“Eh, no worries. Better that than him coming home alone and complaining to me how he couldn’t pick a girl up. Although, I do have to congratulate you—”
Felix grinned, eyes scrunching in mischief.
“Sounds like you found that spot on his neck.”
Good thing you swallowed your bite as you burst into laughter at his compliment.
“I should be thanking you for the hint! It definitely made him weak.”
“It always does! Did he drool on you?”
“Nope.”
The blond gave a thumbs up while biting into another brownie. As soon as he finished his bite, he regarded you with caution before leaning in. He motioned you to do the same, your curiosity increasing as you followed his gesture.
“You know—”
The way he whispered made it sound like he was about to tell you something scandalous.
“If he was shit in bed, you can tell me. I won’t say a word. It’s 2023 and I feel like girls need to stop faking it and just be blunt with these lazy cunts.”
You didn’t think you could laugh louder than before, but Felix proved you wrong. After it died down into giggles, you straightened up, wiping a tear from your eye.
“Thank you for the reassurance, but trust me, it was all real.”
Felix sat up and pouted. “Damn, was hoping I’d have something to hold against him.” He sighed, ”If you say so.”
“Sorry buddy, you’re not gonna get it from me today.”
He nodded, all seeming well as his pretty lips curled in humor. The break in conversation reminded you to check the time, exclaiming in surprise.
“Damn, I really should go.” You finished up your ‘breakfast’, brushing your hands clean. “Thanks again for the brownies, Felix.”
“No problem, Y/N. You want any for the road?”
Your eyes narrowed playfully.
“I feel like you’re trying to thicken me up.”
Felix smirked. “Well, someone has to play host while Chris is asleep. You ate those two pretty fast, so…”
There was no way he’d let you leave without one, was there? A sigh left you.
“Fine, if you’re offering.”
The pleased blond was quick to wrap up a few for you, leaving you waiting for a minute. Suddenly, a thought hit you. You didn’t have a way to keep in contact with Chan.
There was no way you could part ways with that wonderful man and be able to sleep peacefully.
“Hey Felix.”
“Hm?”
You grabbed a napkin and a nearby pen, jotting down the numbers from memory. Once Felix walked back over, you handed him the note.
“Mind giving this to Chan for me?”
He took it and looked it over, brows raising in intrigue before he nodded at you.
“Sure.”
You smiled and expressed your gratitude, taking the brownies before Felix led you out to the front door. With a wave and a ‘have a good day’, you headed down the hallway, a sway in your somewhat sore hips.
Who knew that last night would go the way it did? You just might have met your match. Someone who could keep up with your moves and handle you in the bedroom.
If Chan wanted to see more of what you could do, he better take your gift and use it wisely.
Tumblr media
Chan couldn’t tell what time it was when he awoke, thanks to those new blinds he bought. All he knew was that there was someone else in his room. And judging by the familiar clacking of a keyboard, he knew exactly who it was.
Prying his bleary eyes open, he stretched, groaning quietly at the way his muscles protested at the action. He sat up in bed, automatically wiping off the semi-dried drool on his chin. The motion must have alerted the other person as they turned their head to look at him.
“Morning, bro.”
Chan grumbled at the chipper greeting as he rubbed his eyes.
“Felix, the fuck are you doing in my room?”
“Picking up where I was so rudely interrupted last night.”
Not having the energy to fire back a quip, the older roommate rolled his eyes. But then he realized something. There should have been a third occupant in the bedroom…
He looked next to where he was laying, frowning when he saw nothing but rumpled sheets, rather than an equally nude body.
“Where is she?”
“Went home, mate.”
Felix’s flippant response made Chan swear under his breath. Fuck, he meant to get your number or something before you left. He figured that the two of you were on the same wavelength after last night’s events and honestly, he didn’t want this to be a one and done. Did you get tired of waiting for him to wake up or…
He fixed a glare at the back of Felix’s head. “Did you scare her away?”
All he heard was the sip of a drink before his roommate answered.
“Nope.”
The flippant response made Chan hop out of bed, storming over to spin the chair around hard, gripping the blond’s shoulders with force.
“Felix, you little cunt, if I find out that you kicked her out just so you could play fucking Fortnite, I’m beating your ass.”
He was clearly unbothered, removing Chan’s hands from his person with laziness.
“Chill, man. I ran into her in the hall just as she was leaving. I had to play host since you were clearly doing a bad job at it.”
Chan raised a brow, his irritation cooling a bit. “Really?”
“Yup, offered her some of my brownies too. Sure did love them, even took a few to go.”
Huh. Well, at least Felix didn’t shoo you away, but it still didn’t assuage his worries. He’d just have to hope that he would see you at the club again. This time, he wouldn’t let you get away without an exchange of contact information.
Chan was ready to back off until he noticed the younger’s mouth twisting into a feline grin.
“At least one of us gave her something to remember this place by.”
Never mind. The anger came back in full force.
“You fucking—!”
He made a grab for Felix, but he slipped out from underneath him and ran out into the hallway. Not caring that he was still in his birthday suit, he chased him until he was cornered. The older man was ready to maim, slowly approaching until the other held his hands up in surrender.
“Wait wait wait, Chris! Before you murder me, I’ve got something for you.”
Chan was about ready to lunge when Felix spoke up. Shooting a look that emitted ‘you’ve got one chance’, he paused as he watched the other reach into the pocket of his pajama pants. He slipped something white and thin out before holding it towards him. Taking it with a scowl, the dark-haired man read over the writing on what he realized was a napkin. Each letter and number made his face mold into one of pure shock.
For it was your name and number written down, complete with a cute heart at the end.
“This is…”
Felix held his hands out to the side, looking a lot more smug now. “You’re welcome, mate. Pretty sure my baking changed her mind, but who knows? You might’ve put in some work last night, too.”
Chan shook his head, smiling a little bit now.
“Dickhead. Thanks for this.”
His roommate nodded before folding his arms and raising his brows. “Now can I please get back to my game?”
The brunette waved his hand as he began turning around, still gazing at your neat handwriting.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Go on, I’ve gotta go shower anyways.”
“Yeah, go do that, bro—”
Felix began walking past his enamored friend. “You smell like sweat and smegma.”
Chan didn’t miss the opportunity to smack him on the back of the head, smirking at the cry of pain he let out. He headed off to the bathroom, checking to make sure the counter was dry before setting the napkin down.
He still couldn’t believe it; you actually left your number!
Just when he thought he’d have to rely on a chance encounter, Felix came through with a beacon of hope. Maybe he’d treat the little shit to dinner tonight; he had been airing his grievances on how it’s been ages since they’ve had Thai food. But first, Chan had something very important to do after his shower.
He had to update his contacts and try his best not to text you too soon.
