Reader is Akasha's half-sister, probably the rightful heir to become Queen of the Damned, etc. Akasha kidnaps Lestat, probably to provoke Reader, and there's a whole war between vampires who believe they have to stop Akasha and that Reader is the rightful queen.

Reader wants her throne and Lestat back 🤭
