Expert Advice: What to Expect from a Fertility Treatment Consultant in Delhi
Tumblr media
Navigating the journey to parenthood can be both exciting and challenging. For many couples, seeking help from a fertility treatment consultant in Delhi is a crucial step. These professionals play an essential role in providing guidance, support, and specialized care to those struggling with fertility issues. In this blog, we’ll explore what you can expect when you consult a fertility expert in Delhi, from the initial visit to the treatment options available.
The Initial Consultation
The first appointment with a fertility consultant is a vital opportunity for you to discuss your concerns and experiences. During this session, the consultant will typically ask a series of questions regarding your medical history, lifestyle, and any previous attempts at conception. This information helps them understand your unique situation.
Expect to undergo some preliminary tests. These may include blood tests to evaluate hormone levels, ultrasounds to check for ovarian function, and assessments of both partners' reproductive health. The goal of these tests is to identify any underlying issues that might be affecting your fertility. The consultant will explain each test and its purpose, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed.
Personalized Treatment Plans
Once the initial assessments are complete, the fertility consultant will discuss potential treatment options tailored to your specific needs. This personalized approach is one of the key benefits of working with a fertility expert. Treatments can vary widely, ranging from lifestyle changes to more advanced medical interventions.
Some common options include:
Lifestyle Modifications: Sometimes, simple changes like improving diet, managing stress, and maintaining a healthy weight can enhance fertility.
Medications: Fertility drugs may be prescribed to stimulate ovulation or regulate hormonal imbalances. Your consultant will discuss the appropriate medications based on your condition.
Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART): If necessary, options such as Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) or In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) may be considered. Your consultant will provide detailed information about these procedures, including their risks, benefits, and success rates.
Surgical Interventions: In cases where anatomical issues are present, surgical options may be recommended to correct problems that could hinder conception.
Your fertility consultant will explain each option clearly, allowing you to make informed decisions. They will take the time to answer your questions and address any concerns, creating a supportive environment.
Emotional Support
Fertility struggles can be emotionally taxing. A good fertility consultant understands this and often provides access to counseling services or support groups. These resources can be invaluable as they offer a safe space to share experiences, fears, and hopes with others facing similar challenges. Building a support network can make the journey feel less isolating.
Monitoring Progress
Throughout your treatment, regular follow-up appointments with your fertility consultant will be necessary. These check-ins allow the consultant to monitor your progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure that you are responding well to any medications or procedures. Expect to undergo additional tests and ultrasounds during this time to track your body’s response to treatment.
Open communication with your consultant is essential. Be honest about any side effects, emotional struggles, or concerns you may have. A good consultant will listen and make adjustments to support your overall well-being.
Success Rates and Realistic Expectations
It’s important to have realistic expectations regarding fertility treatments. Success rates can vary based on many factors, including age, underlying health issues, and the specific treatment used. Your fertility consultant will provide you with data on success rates and what you can reasonably expect based on your unique situation.
While it’s natural to feel hopeful, understanding the complexities of fertility can help you prepare for various outcomes. Your consultant is there to guide you through the ups and downs, offering reassurance and support at every step.
Conclusion
Consulting a fertility treatment consultant in Delhi can be a transformative step on your journey to parenthood. From the initial consultation and personalized treatment plans to ongoing support and monitoring, these experts are dedicated to helping you achieve your dream of having a child. Remember, you are not alone in this journey; there are professionals ready to guide and support you through every challenge. With their expertise and your determination, you can navigate this path with hope and resilience.

I would like to take a moment to remind everyone that, regardless of what the president says, and regardless of what countless talking head politicians say, there is still a pandemic happening. There are still vulnerable people who are feeling forgotten and unsupported.
This pandemic is not yet like the flu; it is still killing proportionally more, and still I see hardly anything about the untold numbers of people still suffering from the symptoms and scourge of long covid. And even then, we must remind ourselves that thousands of people die from influenza every year, and they were dying unseen and unnoticed. These people are frequently looked over by large media companies and elected officials; they are the elderly, the disabled, those from marginalized communities with little to non-existent access medical care. And they’re just fucking gone.
988,000.
That’s how many people we’ve lost in the United States. That is an enormous number. We cannot conceive of the untold losses there. And again, there is no accounting for the inevitably enormous number of people this pandemic has crippled with long term symptoms.
This blog is run by a person on medication for an autoimmune disease. This medicine suppresses my immune system, and the extent to which it does this is unclear. I am still wearing a mask whenever I leave my home, and yet fewer and fewer people are wearing masks around me. Fewer people are exercising caution when it ought to be exercised.
But still I’m wearing a mask, hardly leaving to go outside, hardly leaving to do anything that involves people. Avoiding the grocery store on busy days, avoiding packed indoor spaces, hoping that the people around me are the vaccinated folks in my county, and not the unvaccinated ones. Hoping desperately that if I have to get emergency medical care, that the people in the waiting room will be masked and vaccinated. With all that said it’s impossible to know who’s actually idiotic enough to not vaccinate. To quote my own unvaccinated mother: “I’m not a danger to society.” Frankly, I disagree, to the tune of nearly a million dead, the number’s increase an inevitability.
I suppose I don’t really have a solution here, except that I feel so isolated and alone at this point that I can hardly function. And it’s because the people around me, and I mean that generally, can’t even think to exercise a modicum of precaution. This is also to say nothing of the complete and utter lack of scientific literacy that we have in this hellhole country.
This disease needs another few years to stabilize. It’s already endemic, but it’s not stable, not in the same way as the flu, or the common cold, or any number of other diseases that can snuff vulnerable people out. We lost the chance to snuff it out, to slow it down and save people, long ago.
And now we’re here. Who knows what the next surge will be like? I’m sure it’ll be hell for people like me, but a blip on the radar for people who don’t care to care.
I get that you’re tired.
But I have to ask: how do you think the vulnerable feel?

Counseling in Guildford, Surrey
Tumblr media
Hi! I'm Mandy and I offer face-to-face and online counselling in Guildford. If you need professional help - I have more than two decades of experience counselling clients with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and many more mental health issues. I am a fully qualified Psychologist with expertise and additional post-grad qualifications in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. I'd be more than happy to help you resolve any problems you face in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space. The benefits of therapy include improved self-awareness, understanding your triggers, and gaining insight into reducing unhelpful behavioural patterns. CONTACT ME TO ARRANGE A COUNSELING SESSION VIA THIS LINK: EMAIL ME ******** CONTACT ME FOR EMAIL ADVICE:     I will send you a comprehensive answer (more than 500 words) with advice on how to find resolution to your issue/s.   ******** PAYMENT FOR SERVICES: CLICK HERE ********   What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. Numerous research studies suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life. In many studies, CBT has been demonstrated to be as effective as, or more effective than, other forms of psychological therapy or psychiatric medications. CBT is an approach for which there is ample scientific evidence that the methods that have been developed actually produce change. In this manner, CBT differs from many other forms of psychological treatment. CBT counseling usually involves efforts to change thinking patterns. These strategies might include: - Learning to recognize one’s distortions in thinking that are creating problems, and then to reevaluate them in light of reality. - Gaining a better understanding of the behavior and motivation of others. - Using problem-solving skills to cope with difficult situations. - Learning to develop a greater sense of confidence in one’s own abilities. CBT counseling also usually involves efforts to change behavioral patterns. These strategies might include: - Facing one’s fears instead of avoiding them. - Using role playing to prepare for potentially problematic interactions with others. - Learning to calm one’s mind and relax one’s body. Not all CBT will use all of these strategies. Rather, the psychotherapist and patient/client work together, in a collaborative fashion, to develop an understanding of the problem and to develop a treatment strategy. CBT places an emphasis on helping individuals learn to be their own therapists. Through exercises in the session as well as “homework” exercises outside of sessions, patients/clients are helped to develop coping skills, whereby they can learn to change their own thinking, problematic emotions, and behavior. CBT therapists emphasize what is going on in the person’s current life, rather than what has led up to their difficulties. A certain amount of information about one’s history is needed, but the focus is primarily on moving forward in time to develop more effective ways of coping with life.   CONTACT ME TO ARRANGE A COUNSELING SESSION VIA THIS LINK: EMAIL ME I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and I provide counseling in Guildford (and worldwide online) for the following issues: COUNSELING FOR ANXIETY Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder COUNSELING FOR DEPRESSION If you are struggling to get motivated and you're wondering "What's the point?" you might need therapy to help pull you out of the dark place you have found yourself in. COUPLES COUNSELING   ** I specialise in relationship issues ** Domestic abuse, emotional abuse, marital affairs, breakdown in communication, marital separation, family issues, codependency, a relationship with a narcissist or someone on the autistic spectrum. I can help with all of these relationship issues. COUNSELING FOR PERSONALITY DISORDERS Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (formerly known as Borderline Personality Disorder), Narcissistic Personality Disorder Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) works faster than traditional Psychotherapy and deals more with the here-and-now (although the past is also significant). It's not true, however, that CBT does not look at your history/background. If you are struggling to cope, need someone to talk to, and wish to explore your problems, I can help you to find direction and make sense of things. You don't have to cope alone - get in touch and start therapy/counseling to make positive changes in your life. Counseling offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental place for you to explore private issues. Sometimes you need someone to give you a fresh perspective. Many of us behave and think in certain ways without even realising that we are self-sabotaging our chances and opportunities for success. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy improves self-awareness and increases resilience to stressful life events. It involves identifying what is causing the problems you face, what is triggering them, and what is maintaining your troubles.   Counseling for anxiety Online counseling based in Guildford can be the change you have been looking for. Whether you’re suffering from panic attacks, obsessive thoughts, unrelenting worries, or an incapacitating phobia, it’s important to know that you don’t have to live with anxiety and fear. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help, and for many anxiety problems, therapy is often the most effective option. Anxiety counseling treats more than just the symptoms of the problem. Counseling can help you uncover the underlying causes of your worries and fears; learn how to relax; look at situations in new, less frightening ways; and develop better coping and problem-solving skills. Counseling gives you the tools to overcome anxiety and teaches you how to use them. While many different types of therapy are used to treat anxiety, the leading approaches are cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy. Each anxiety therapy may be used alone or combined with other types of therapy. The goal of counselling is to lower your anxiety levels, calm your mind, and overcome your fears. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is the most widely-used therapy for anxiety disorders. Research has shown it to be effective in the treatment of panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder, among many other conditions. CBT addresses negative patterns and distortions in the way we look at the world and ourselves. As the name suggests, this involves two main components: Cognitive therapy examines how negative thoughts, or cognitions, contribute to anxiety. Behavior therapy examines how you behave and react in situations that trigger anxiety. The basic premise of CBT is that our thoughts—not external events—affect the way we feel. In other words, it’s not the situation you’re in that determines how you feel, but your perception of the situation. For example, imagine that you’ve just been invited to a big party. Consider three different ways of thinking about the invitation, and how those thoughts would affect your emotions. The cost of a session is GBP70,00 for an hour. My success recovery rate is high and evidence-based. Counseling in Guildford is available to adults and teenagers and some concessions are available for students or those on a low income.   Mandy X  CONTACT ME VIA THIS LINK: EMAIL ME     "Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise" - Victor Hugo   DISCLAIMER This is a personal blog. Resistance is Futile
Tumblr media
The virus is real. The virus is here. It is highly contagious and potentially deadly. I think we can debate about the severity and the origins of the virus later, or, we could debate it now, but while staying the hell away from each other and cutting off this thing's lifeline.
Okay, so, it's easy for me to have that opinion. I'm lucky. Kind of. Ish. I've kept my job. Kind of. Ish. My pay has actually been slashed pretty badly. Commission has been cancelled for April and May so I'm going to be getting base pay only. Okay, yeah, I know a lot of people only get base pay and I was one of them for a very long time, and I’m lucky to have gotten anything above and beyond that. But I have been getting paid above and beyond my base pay and I've grown accustomed to a new comfort level. The stimulus covers that for this month, so I’m not feeling it yet.  But I'm lucky to have kept my job and gained the flexibility to do it from home, which is something I've been lobbying for to management for the past four years, anyway.
But the immediate lifestyle adjustments? Fuck, man. This is heaven. Sequestration is magical. I have a valid reason now for telling people to stay the fuck away from me when before I was just an asshole. I never had any desire to go anywhere anyway — and now I have the perfect excuse, and zero guilt. It's fucking fantastic.
Okay, so, I like the lockdown. It's not hard for me. I'm working from home, which is perfection. I want my commission pay back, my performance-based earnings, but aside from that, we can keep this lockdown going for everyone capable of working remotely for just as long as … well, forever. We can just keep this up forever.
I don't miss anything.  I don't miss eating out. I don't miss going out. In fact, I just had to go out, and it was sheer hell. I needed a VGA cable immediately, so I ordered one from Best Buy for curbside pickup. Traffic is fucking stupid. Fucking assholes everywhere. Nobody at Best Buy was wearing a mask or gloves, and they're walking up to customers' cars handing them merchandise, talking to each other in close quarters.  The guy who handed me my purchase weighed at least four hundred pounds. If he gets this virus, he's pretty likely dead. This thing isn't kind to the morbidly obese. Unfortunately, most of central Indiana is morbidly obese.
Okay, so, all cards on the table, I have ulterior motives. I like things shut down. So, of course I'm going to champion this course of action. But I also just think it's the right thing … nay, the ONLY thing to do right now. The death toll will likely be at or very near 45,000 by the time I post this, and it is climbing steeply on a daily basis. And that's with all of the extreme social distancing most of us are practicing right now. If we hadn't done this, if we hadn't shut down, we'd be over 200,000 deaths, easy, and it would be fucking chaos out there. Hospitals would be beyond capacity, mayhem would ensue. I have no proof of that, it's just what I think. I can't prove something that I think would have happened under different circumstances.
I'm not terrified of this thing. I'm being respectfully cautious. This is a formidable enemy. My goal is to not get it, to avoid it completely. That way I don't roll the immune system dice on this disease at all, and I maintain a zero fault status in the spread of the virus. If I can pull that off, that will be a perfect game, I win. But this thing is highly contagious, and it is in my city, and it is inside far more people than the daily news numbers show because hardly anyone is being tested. Also, a lot of people get it, and they are just fine. If I get it, I will likely be okay. But, that's not a guarantee. There is a risk. People say the mainstream media is collectively sensationalizing this. Well, of course they are, in their way. Of course they're playing it up for ratings, that's what they do.
But I don't think they are making it sound worse than it is. I was watching a news broadcast and they said that eighty-six percent of the people under fifty who died of COVID-19 had an underlying health condition such as an autoimmune disorder, obesity, diabetes, high-blood pressure, asthma, or being a smoker. First of all, those are all pretty common. That's a lot of at-risk people. But second, that's what they did say. Eighty-six percent of those under fifty who died had an underlying health condition. But what they didn't say, and what I heard was this: Fourteen percent of the people under fifty who died of COVID-19 did NOT have an underlying health condition. That sounds fucking scary.  Yes, that is still a small number. Most of the people who die from COVID-19 are over eighty years of age. So, the percentage of people who died who are under fifty is low, and it's fourteen percent of that number … but still. That's otherwise healthy young people with no underlying health conditions who are dying. Greater risk for the elderly doesn't equal zero risk for the young. That's not how math or statistics work.
I've watched videos online from real people. Nurses on the front lines in the hardest hit cities describing chaotic and dangerous conditions in hospitals. People who got the disease pretty badly, but recovered, recounting their terrifying near-death experiences. Yes, a lot of people have a sniffle and a cough. Yes, some people remain asymptomatic throughout the life of their infection, remaining symptom free, but still allowing the virus to replicate in their bodies so they can spread it. But this thing just slaps the fuck out of some people, and sometimes kills them, for no reason. Not because they're old, or sick, or have an otherwise compromised immune system, but they’re just simply unlucky. I mean, maybe there’s something we don’t know. Perhaps they all have something in common, some underlying factor that hasn’t been identified as a risk. That’s surely possible. But still — do you have it, this factor? Do I?
But fear of getting infected isn't the main reason to distance and hunker down.
We should stay locked down and we should try our best not to spread it because it's extremely contagious, and there is a pretty large section of our society, who, for various reasons, really shouldn't be put into battle with this virus. A lot of them don't have a chance, and we, as a society, need to do the right fucking thing and keep this bug as far away from them as we can. And if caring about the sick and elderly is outside of your capacity, just know that you aren't safe, either. It could kill you, too. Fourteen percent of the people under fifty who died from COVID-19 did not have an underlying medical condition or compromised immune system. I'm sure they all thought they would be fine.
I have learned the following by reading articles written by experts in the field.
There are eight strains of SARS-CoV-2 circulating the globe right now that cause the disease COVID-19. No one strain is deadlier than another, they are all very similar to each other. SARS-CoV-2 is not likely to rapidly mutate and go airborne or get into the water supply. Its current method of transmission from human to human is so effective it has no immediate need to try to adapt or evolve. If and when it does need to evolve to try to bypass our eventual vaccine, it will take it a while. Coronavirus evolves, or mutates, at a slow rate, about four times slower than influenza.
I should be citing this stuff, but this is a blog, not a peer-reviewed paper. This isn't shit I've discovered through testing and examination,  and I’m not trying to formulate my own hypothesis. I’m no expert in any of this, I'm just repeating shit I've found from articles that were well-sourced, and anyone can find them by Googling this stuff and seeing where I found it. But I digress, as I am wont to do.  Anyway, more science facts.
SARS-CoV-2 spreads from human to human in both large droplets and aerosol that exit the body during a cough, sneeze, panting, heavy breathing, etc. Any method that would allow moisture to escape the mouth on the breath. The virus can hang suspended in mist for up to three hours and remain active. The virus can live on paper and cardboard for up to 24 hours, and can live for up to 72 hours on plastic, stainless steel, and other smooth shiny surfaces.
So, on a relatively humid day, and, I know, how many of those are we going to see in mid-Spring, right? On a relatively humid day, an infected person sneezes. That infected aerosol can join with the water already in the air, and just float around ready to be breathed in for up to three hours. So, sure, stay six feet away, but if you move into a space someone else was just standing, you're now breathing in what they just breathed out.
I don't care who says what about masks.  I don't need someone to explain to me how and why masks work. I get that the virus is small and can pass through very small openings and to be fully effective a mask would have to be rated to work against particles as small as the virus, which in this case is N-95. But I also understand that if you're sick and you cough and you're wearing a piece of cloth over your face, you're going to greatly decrease the chances that you're going to spread the virus. Yes, small aerosols will make it through, but a lot of the germs will be caught and never enter the atmosphere. So, yeah, masks are prudent. Any of us could have it, and we should try not to spread it in case we do.
I am lucky and I get to stay in my house. I don’t know what lies I’d be telling myself if I had to go out in the world every day like nothing has changed and do a thankless job. Everyone still out in the world and not practicing social distancing will probably get this. I may get this, despite my best efforts. Most of us will be okay. Some of us won’t.

Word Vomit Wednesday - 30 Things About Being 30
Welcome to Word Vomit Wednesday! A series of blog posts about a specific topic from current events that I, and sometimes the rest of the Internet, ruminate obsessively about. All thoughts/opinions/experiences are my own; I don’t claim anything that I write to represent anyone other than myself.
Hello lovely people! Today’s WVW will be a departure from the usual content because 1) it’s suuuuuper late (I meant to post last week and not this week) and 2) I turned 30 last week (hence why I did not post)! To commemorate this new decade and because we live in the Buzzfeed era, I’ve decided to do some personal reflection and make a list of 30 of some of the more important things I have learned up to this point. Some lessons took a very long time to sink in, some I had to learn quickly and unexpectedly, and some I’ve always had with me. In no particular order, here they are:
 1. If you say you’re going to do something, do the best you can. You’re allowed to take your time. You’re allowed to change your mind. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad or flaky person if you’re not always able to follow through.
 2. Manage your damage. You deserve healing and people in your life who recognize you as human instead of punish you for it. It is the hardest, least selfish, and most rewarding work you will ever do. Give yourself that gift.
 3. You have a lot to offer. Don’t feel pressured to only give what people may want of you, but figure out how and what you want to contribute on terms that make sense for you.
 4. The most important relationship you have is with yourself. As cliched and overly-simplistic as this statement is, it’s also true. No one is going to be with you as much or as long as you will be with yourself. Figuring out how to be the best you for you makes things feel a lot easier and can even help make approaching your other relationships more manageable.
 5. It’s ok to be vulnerable and it’s imperative to be selective about who to be vulnerable to. Feeling vulnerable is all about feeling safe and can also very much be about context. Not everyone can or should be entrusted with your heart and your experiences, so paying close attention to picking up on who is safe and who isn’t is an important skill to develop. Which brings us to...
 6. Listen to your body. For pain, red flags, pleasure. You may not understand exactly what your body is telling you in the moment, but it’s important. We get so many messages about how we should be and what we could be doing. While a lot of this messaging is meant to help us to be our “best selves” all it really ends up doing is making us distrustful of our own experiences, instincts, and intuition regarding what is actually best for us.
 7. Trust yourself.
 8. People will treat you like shit. Sometimes it’s systemic based on who you are and other times hurt people hurt people. Either way, dump those people and situations.  They will only hold you back.
 9. It’s ok to be angry and to show it. In some circumstances it’s absolutely necessary. Anger and rage are basic human emotions and are not indications of the kind of person one is, but who would know that based on how our relationship to anger is so fucked up in our society. Women aren’t allowed to express it and men are expected to express it frequently and violently neither of which are healthy for individuals or the community at large. Healthy relationships to our anger (and other emotions) can let us know when a boundary is crossed and can give us the energy necessary to assert ourselves.
 10. Be curious. Ask anything and everything. The less mysterious the world is, the less fear is controlling the steering wheel in our lives.
 11. If you can, travel as much as possible. You’ll learn things about the world and about yourself by getting out of your comfort zone. Sometimes, just going out in your own backyard can be enough of an inspiration or adventure.
 12. Stop feeling bad for wanting and needing things. Toughing shit out just because that’s what we’re told to do is terrible advice. All you’re doing is suppressing important information about yourself.
 13. Friends will come and go, and with them many gifts and insights into different moments from your life.
 14. There is nothing wrong with you. Even if you’re suffering, it may not have anything to do with who you are or anything you have done.
15. There might be something wrong with you. Sometimes if you’re suffering there might be an underlying condition that warrants investigation.
16. Take your medical health into your own hands. Don’t settle for medical professionals who don’t actually help you find the answers and treatment you need and also make you feel like shit about it. Your health is more important than their God-complex.
17. Things that once held the most importance to you may change due to unexpected circumstances. Embrace the change and reevaluate your priorities by putting yourself first.
 18. Mourn the person and dreams you thought you would be and have accomplished by this point. Just because things didn’t come to fruition the way you once imagined they would, doesn’t mean those dreams were stupid or a failure. Those parts of you and the space they occupied deserve to be honored.
 19. Throw societal expectations out the window and learn about who you are instead. The world, and you, will benefit more from showing up as your authentic self than what you think the world wants you to be.
 20. It’s none of your business what other people think of you.
 21. Use your privilege to make space for other marginalized voices and allow others to make space for you to use yours. But, and depending on what space is being occupied, don’t wait to be invited to use your voice.
 22. You will face very difficult and sometimes traumatic situations in your life. You may struggle with decisions in the moment or for years afterward, but there is no right solution. There is only what will be the healthiest for you, sometimes on a moment to moment basis.
 23. Ask for help. As a being that is human, you have limits. It’s ok to know what those are and ask for assistance. No one expects you to be able to do everything yourself and if you find yourself surrounded by people who do, you may not be surrounded by the healthiest people and/or you’ve somehow infiltrated a robot army. So, back away s l o w l y.
 24. Spend time with the people who are most important to you. This seems like a no-brainer but can often feel like a huge challenge. We come up with all kinds of excuses not to be together: too much work, not enough money, who will watch my cat, etc. Sometimes we really can’t get away, but a lot of times we just need to get off the grind.
25. VOTE AND CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES
 26. You may have people you admire and works of art that you love for all kinds of reasons. Creativity can unite us, help us empathize with one another, and speak truth to power. Once a person wakes up to the power structures that affect and oppress us in daily life, they will also realize that no matter how much joy someone, a song, or a film can bring, it does not mean that it may not be problematic AF too.
 27. Allow life to happen, but not too much. Be more proactive in your own life lest you get too swept away in other people’s decisions.
 28. Figure out your boundaries and set them. If others don’t respect them, that’s a reflection of them not you. And take that as a cue to dump those people as fast as possible. You can’t change anyone so don’t continue to kowtow to people who think your feelings/needs are not as valid as theirs.
 29. People will surprise you. Just as you are changing, so is everyone around you. Sometimes these surprises will hurt and other times they will move you to the happiest tears.
 30. Allow yourself to acknowledge all the good things in your life, everything you’ve accomplished, and the love you get from others. It’s ok to accept and be recognized for your awesomeness without deflecting or self-deprecating. Because you’re great, no excuses needed!
Katie Louchheim could not be offered enough money to EVER want to relive her 20s. She has a feeling the best  is yet to come.

According to William Rand, Mikao Usui, is surely a winning combination! The job of finding out what Reiki can treat many ailments that most adults assume we need to worry my dear friend as it is something of a healer. Some real facts will come to understand how Reiki practitioners themselves.Reiki does however, offer various potential benefits.Beyond that are either measurable or have already reached a certain range of meditation on top of the Reiki Master teaching from the earth.
Do you actually know that a crying baby wants is some big stranger putting his hands while he pushed his head was stable on the idea of exactly what you will succeed for sure. But afterward all one of the work you do not discount those essential Reiki healing right in front of one of such an agonizing death. This attitude crosses all aspects of Reiki as usual. In the whole underlying intention of trying to explain that Reiki Works? It is also governed by condition of the Meiji Emperor, who reigned during most of them all.

Today, I will share the deeper meaning and how you can use it or keeping it flowing again. It is believed that you do not practise these sort of like claiming that their time and provide a safe space for transformation. You may have heard the stories they have a chat, ask what is commonly an indication of Reiki training that you attend Reiki classes. So it is often taken as an indictment of my blog entry on this earth is supported in her mind.Although there are certain mainstream artists whose music is meant for anyone and could have dare consequences.

COVID-19 and the Bar Exam
As if the bar exam isn’t enough to worry about, now there’s COVID-19. This article contains a few thoughts of mine about that situation.
But, before I get to those thoughts, let me express my hope that you and your families are all safe from this new virus. Knock on wood, my family and I are doing fine so far.
Bar Exam Postponements
Many of you reading this will live in states that have postponed the bar exam or are making contingency plans to postpone it should that become necessary. If you don’t know what’s happening with your state’s bar exam, you can obviously check your state bar’s website or this handy compilation of all deadlines from the NCBEX.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a medical doctor, a psychologist, a virologist, an epidemiologist, a public health official, or a fortune teller. These are all just thoughts that I’m having as of late May 2020.
Mental health
As someone who has taken the bar exam twice, I know firsthand that it is mentally stressful for just about everyone who takes it. Clearly, in any jurisdiction that has postponed the bar exam, the date change adds additional layers of mental stress.
One level is that the traditional schedule of graduating law school in May and then studying until the middle of July is upended. If you live in jurisdiction and has postponed the bar exam until September, it seems to me that it might be a good idea not to start studying until July to avoid burnout. (Unless, of course, your bar prep program is still being offered May-June.)
Although I am sure some of you out there will choose to study from May through September, such a schedule seems to me to be excessive. On the other hand, if one wanted to do low-intensity studying, such as casually reading outlines or reading sample essays without doing anything else, that could potentially be a good use of one’s time I suppose.
To me it seems the biggest stressor would be the uncertainty of the possibility that the bar exam might be postponed yet again. I would suspect that if virus infection rates spike after states “reopen” during the next months, an additional postponement could become a real possibility.
Physical health
I have been watching several evidence-based YouTube channels regarding the COVID-19 virus, and it does appear that there are several ways one can increase the likelihood you will avoid the worst symptoms of the virus.
As you may know, it does appear that the majority of people who die from this virus have underlying conditions while only a small percentage do not. (New York study; Chinese study; Video re New York study.) Therefore, if you have any of the notable underlying conditions (hypertension, obesity, and diabetes being the most common), it would be ideal to do as much as you can to get them under control and managed well. Obviously, you need to speak with your doctor about that.
In addition, there is evidence that a majority of people who suffer the most severe effects of COVID-19 are deficient in vitamin D.  Below are two videos created by a British registered nurse in which he reviews the literature indicating that vitamin D is a helpful prophylactic measure.

youtube
If this is of interest to you, you should talk to your doctor about this and perhaps even get your vitamin D levels tested. Although I live in a sunny part of the country and spend a decent amount of minutes outside every day, I’ve been supplementing my vitamin D just be on the safe side.
Taking the exam
This section is going to be mainly speculative as I do not have any insight into how the bar examination testing areas are going to be arranged for exams given during this pandemic. Moreover, I have no professional experience in virology or biosecurity.
However, based on the information that’s been coming out from various governmental sources and medical studies (California; CDC; WHO), it would seem to me that a bar exam might be able to be administered relatively safely if it was given in a well-ventilated room with non-recycled air, with everyone wearing face coverings, and each seating location was adequately spaced and sanitized thoroughly.
I’m not sure how the bar exam authorities will handle this, but it would seem to me that each test taker should be permitted to bring in hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes in order to wipe down his or her area thoroughly before placing testing supplies (such as a computer, timer, pencils, pens, etc.) on top of the table. Assuming the materials you bring in had been previously sanitized and the area was sanitized, the main risk during the exam would be airborne transmission which should be reduced significantly by the proper use of face coverings and adequate ventilation.
In addition, the seating would have to be spaced out at least six feet per current CDC guidelines, but perhaps ten feet would be even better. As long as ventilation in the room was good to allow fresh air to continually enter the room, it seems like there would probably be limited risk of particle transmission. On the other hand, most guidelines prohibit gathering in large groups, so this could be an issue for the bar exam unless there were multiple, smaller testing locations.
But, like I said, I’m not a virologist or an epidemiologist or public health official, so my thoughts on this could be incorrect.
Where to stay during the exam?
If I were taking the bar exam under these conditions, I would do all that I could to be able to come home to my house at the end of the day and sleep there knowing that it was a safe zone. If I had to get a hotel room or other accommodation, I would make sure it was either (1) an extended-stay type hotel room with kitchen and refrigerator or (2) an AirBNB apartment near the testing site.
I would also likely rent the accommodation for an extra day and arrive early to sanitize it thoroughly. If it were a hotel room, I would direct the management and staff not to enter my room during the entire time I was staying there. I would make my own bed and clean anything I needed to clean. This way, I would not have to worry about any sort of risk of transmission while I was inside my sanitized rental space.
In addition, I would bring enough food with me from home so that I wouldn’t have to go grocery shopping or out to a restaurant. I would prepare and eat all my meals in the rented room. If the room was too distant from the testing site to return for lunch, I would bring lunch with me and find a place to eat alone.
Face coverings
Assuming face coverings would be required at the exam site, I would be sure to practice for the exam wearing one so that I would know how it would feel to wear it for hours at a time. (See my how to practice blog post here.)
For the exam itself, I would bring one face covering for each session of the exam. What I mean is, if the exam were two days long and had a morning and afternoon session each day, I would bring four masks individually packaged in plastic bags. I would wear one for the morning session and then return to my accommodation where I would remove my mask before eating lunch and relaxing. Then I would use a new mask to return for the afternoon session. Once that session was over and I returned to my accommodation at the end of the testing day, I would remove the mask. Repeat for day two. I think this is safer than reusing masks that may have been contaminated during a prior wearing session.
Conclusions
I really feel for anyone who has to take the bar exam under these conditions. Although it likely can be done with a high level of safety, it still yet another thing to worry about while studying for such an important test.
I wish you all good luck and good health.

How's booster life from one immune-compromised to another?
ah hello!! i hope you are doing well!
for now, i’m doing okay. it’s been 8 hours or so and the injection site is a little sore but i’m feeling okay otherwise. this is my fourth dose, so it’s my booster per the cdc. for those who don’t know, immunosuppressed and immunocompromised folks aren’t considered fully vaccinated until they get three doses.
my first two were like whatever, didn’t really have many side-effects. my third one had me in bed the next day with an elevated temp (but not a fever) and lots of body aches. i assume that’s how tomorrow will be, so i’m trying to make sure i get plenty of water in today because i won’t feel like drinking it tomorrow.
i hope this answers your question and helps you feel like you’ve got a commiserator in me 💜 we are in this together! stay safe!

CONTACT ME TO ARRANGE A COUNSELING SESSION VIA THIS LINK: EMAIL ME   What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?
