I think it's really weird the overlap for people who hate Calypso and then ship Telemachus and Antonius? I never liked the ship in general but especially now the people with those opinions somehow seem to be the same people?

Calypso and Antonius are direct indisputable parallels. They both want the love in whatever form from Penelope or Odysseus, they want it sexually despite the others constant refusal (Hold Them Down is only a demo but it is absolutely horrifying to me), they share a home with their target and abuse the rules that allow them to stay, and neither in the end willingly relinquish their control. Antinous doesn't have as direct access to Penelope as Calypso does Odysseus, but he torments her son as a way to try and manipulate her.

I understand the general consensus for people who ship these two is that is heavily based in au but at that point you've erased everything about Antinous based on nothing that hints this is the kind of person he could ever have been. you might as well have made a new character all together. But you didn't.
