Whoever is making this man go through this will pay for sure. Not only he had to deal with the humiliation of becoming a woman and his family seeing it, but now he found himself in his s/o’s body early in the morning. What is this damn sorcery?

As much as he LOVES his body, he has lots of things to do in his body. And whats worse, he had an important council meeting that morning so he was very worried on how that would happen. His s/o is a smart woman for sure, but there are many things she doesnt know and he cannot have his reputation tarnished.

Busy in his thoughts, he decided to walk around the house, since his s/o lives alone. This allowed him to not be worried about someone seeing him and speaking. His s/o was a very chatty person, while he generally dislikes having conversations, be it long or short. He walked outside, admiring the beautiful sunrise but something grabbed his attention at the corner of his eyes. His s/o’s laundry…more specifically her panties that she hanged to dry

Indra loves his s/o’s style as it suits her perfectly. She goes for the aesthetic pink and nude colours, which make her features be more appealing to the eye. Her undergarments are the same: pink or nude, sometimes even black but not always. Seeing her clothes and remembering that he is in her body, he smirked slightly at the brilliant idea in his head.

He went back to her room and stood in front of a mirror. He has already seen her body many times, it was nothing new for him, but for some reason he had this big urge to inspect her body that was now his(hopefully temporary). The beautiful pastel pink colored robe was slowly untied, revealing her body underneath is. This caught Indra by surprise because he never thought he s/o was sleeping naked. He recommended it few times to her, but she absolutely refused to hear him. Maybe she decided to see what Indra meant by saying her to sleep naked, just to see the benefits of it.

Not focusing too much on the nakedness under the robe, Indra wasted no time in touching the blessed body he was in. Her boobs felt somehow softer when he touched them, and every small detail on her body that he somehow did not notice was right in front of him. His favourite marks of her body were the mole on her boob and her birthmark on her belly, both of which he loved seeing every time.

“I have some stretch marks…I am so ugly..” Indra remembered his s/o complaining about those marks, reaching to touch them on her inner thighs. Those marks made her very self-conscious of her appearance, not wishing to expose herself to him. But Indra loved those marks more than anything. He believes that stretch marks are just a proof that you are healthy. Contrary to his girlfriend’s belief, who thinks stretch marks are result of her gaining weight, Indra believes that stretch marks are result of her being in her final phase of maturity.

The more he looked and touched, the more he wanted to keep going. His mind was replaying their late nights love-making in the forest, how pure and sweet everything was. He started to feel warm and tingly especially between his legs. Is this what she feels…? His hand moved to his new body’s clit, fingers already skill fully playing with it. He always wondered what she felt when his fingers were inside her or when he was rubbing her, and now seemed he had the chance to feel what she felt. Soft pillows and his s/o’s scent all around him when he was waking up. One thing Madara loved the most was how sweet she smelled and now he could smell her as if she was right…there. Wait… He quickly opened his eyes realising that he didnt spend the night at his lover’s room so…why did the bed smell like her? No intimacy happened last night too…He quickly got up and…ah there was the catch. He could smell her scent because he was in her body… “Damn it..!” he said angrily, looking at him weirdly. He did not want to believe that this was actually him, that he for some unexpected way is in his s/o’s body.

This sort of adventure is not in his calendar. He was tired of the previous experience, but this is new level that he both hates and loves. Madara does not speak about this often but being next to his s/o is an undying desire. He made a wish last night to be closer to her, and maybe the heavens decided to do what he asked…? But they did it the wrong way. Seeing how the house was still asleep, he decided to dress up and leave the house as soon as possible. His destination? Of course the Uchiha compound, to see if his s/o is in his body or no.

His s/o, being more feminine, did not have many choices of pants and shirts as her closet was filled with beautiful kimonos and obis. But he had no time and no desire to look as beautiful as his s/o, so he grabbed whatever he could and ran out of the house. Of course, he stumbled into another issues as he could not be fast in this body or jump on the trees, since his s/o’s body is pretty fragile. So he had to walk as fats as his legs could carry him.

He went to the compound, entering it from the secret passage Izuna and his use often. Luckily for them no one discovered it yet so they could still use it. He went upstairs to his room quietly, opening the door fast and walking in.

“ Y/n, if you have my body we need to …” his words slowly died in his mouth from the scene in front of him. He saw himself laying on the futon, eyes closed and his cock in his hand. S/o, who undoubtedly was in his body, was enjoying herself..maybe even too much…She was so gone in pleasure that him entering the room and speaking did not startle her.

Madara, who was more than intrigued at this, stood by the door, watching his girlfriend enjoy his body. He could not blame her for pleasuring herself, after all its only natural that a body switch makes one intrigued to understand the new body they are in. Every touch feels foreign and new and one thing leads to another.

“Enjoying yourself I see…” he spoke, making Y/n stop her pleasurable activity. She did not notice how he or…she herself came in the room, but she was glad Madara was there. She knew what was waiting, seeing the fire in his eyes. “Yes..I am…Join me love…”she spoke, her voice full of desire.

She did not need to say anything else, as Madara was already taking his clothes off, throwing them on the floor without care and walking to her. Having his body switched was not a very desirable thing for him, but he was not against having this happen to him often. It gave him the chance to see and experience things differently now. He gained the knowledge of what sex felt for his s/o, how her body reacted to every touch and how different the feeling are for her.

Nevertheless, he decided to stop thinking about ways to switch their bodies back, as now he had another thing to take care of: his horny girlfriend.

Izuna

Out of everything that has happened to them, Izuna was not waiting for his body to be taken over by s/o. He had the opportunity of becoming female, but his body being switched with his girlfriend….was out of his imagination. He knew every part, every inch of her body so having her body as his own for some days was not as exciting as he thought.

But his genius brain came up with a very romantic idea. He grabbed a piece of paper and feather pen, dipped it in ink and started writing. He was sure that his idea now would uplift his girlfriend who has been little moody lately because of a small weight gain. Izuna knew how fixated she is on her weight, thanks to her family members who continuously remind her of every small weight change.

His girlfriend has been going through this abusive diet changes as long as he remembers: she would starve herself, eating only once in a day. This also impacted her self-esteem, as with every insulting comment from her family members made her feel unworthy and ugly. She even tried breaking up with Izuna once, claiming he deserved someone more beautiful than her, but Izuna stopped her, reassuring her that she is the most beautiful for him.

After spending a good hour or two on writing, he folded the piece of paper, put it in his kimono sleeve and exited the house. He was able to master his girlfriend’s way of responding to her family so when they asked him where he was going, a short and god explanation followed: “Going for a walk, It helps me lose weight”

He walked gracefully, not wanting to tarnish his girlfriend’s reputation as one of the most beautiful women out there. He was getting more comfortable in her body the more he walked, which he loved to experience. His woman was a truly blessed one when it came to her curves as she was curvy in all the right places. As he walked and reached the compound, he noticed her standing, in his body of course.

They quickly excused themselves and went to a more private room, to talk and discuss about their future doings regarding their situation. Izuna, who did not care much about switching their bodies back, took the piece of paper out of his kimono.

“My love…listen to me okay. It is sad we have this situation at our hands, but there’s something more important I am willing to tell you. I know how long you struggle with you self-image, how much you think that the toxic nonsense your parents told you is true. But its not. This switching of our bodies allowed me to do what I longed to do so long, which is prove that you are perfect. Here, take it and read this. Its for you” he said smiling. His girlfriend looked at him all puzzled, unable to form any sentence. She was in his body, but she could not help feeling nervous, a trait that Izuna does not seem to possess.

She took the paper, opened and started reading it slowly. Izuna took his time praising her and mentioning how beautiful and just amazing she is, how her body is gorgeous and does not require any change, how she should not listen to whatever her parents have to say, because as his future wife, she is perfect. Reading all of this brought tears to her face, a sense of happiness and fulfilment. They both hugged each other, his girlfriend thanking him for such words and reassurance. This was of course only the small percentage of what Izuna could do. However, as small as this gesture was, he was happy that he made his girlfriend happier.

Obito

Obito and his girlfriend do not know each other that much as others. They met each other on a mission, with Obito nearly killing her. To his own surprise, he decided not to and let her go. Soon he found Y/n following him around like a cat. He did not like it at first, but slowly came to terms with it.

Their relationship took years to bloom, starting with friendship. They had had rough pasts, both of them experiencing many traumatising events which made them close their hearts to the world. However, with small talks here and there, they opened up, talking about themselves and their goals.

Obito was usually busy with running errands behind shadows for Akatsuki, while his girlfriend was doing missions entrusted to her by Obito. They loved working together because not many words were exchanged yet they understood each other even from one glance: a rare type of connection.

This connection would prove to get only stronger when one day they woke up in each other’s bodies. A terrifying experience to say the least, considering they both had different activities for the day and could not do them without being in their bodies. While they both were trying to find a way to return to their original bodies, Obito on his end decided to slow down that thought because of some marks he noticed all over his switched body

The marks were obviously self-harm ones, which faded now and only the scars remained. He never noticed them before. In fact, he never even thought Y/n harmed herself. She was a very closed person and he simply did not care to ask. A stupid decision from his side he thinks. Upon looking into his body more, he saw more marks on her legs. These were fresh for sure, as they were still bloody.

Seeing those scars over her body made Obito sad. Why was she doing this to herself..? Why didnt he ever notice anything? Why he never asked her any questions about her pain as she was doing to him, He was treating her like a therapist, talking about his issues only. A selfish move by him for sure he thought. He had to talk to her, about maybe everything he felt which was anger, sadness and disappointment.

After a day, when Y/n finally figured out how to use Obito’s teleportation, was able to locate him and teleport her body to him. To her happiness he was where she last was: her hideout which was a small cave in the deep forest. Her legs took her to him when she suddenly stopped. He was sitting on the ground, eyes closed and head leaning on the wall. His fingers were tracing the scars of his arm, something that Y/n did not want to expose to him.

“Why didn’t you tell me about your..self-desturction habit Y/n” he spoke. Taking off the mask she was wearing, she walked to him. “I did not want to burden you with my problems Obito. You already had…enough to worry about. My struggles are mine only. Also I stopped doing that so there is no reason to tell you” she spoke. Of course she was not fooling him with her lie, because she knew he saw the new cuts too.

“Liar. You keep cutting yourself..you did NOT stop. Just why didnt you tell me damn it…”he arose to his feet. Of course in her body he wasnt as tall as she was now, but his energy was dominating even in that short body. She knew that she had no way out, so her only resolve was telling him about the reasons she started self harming. It was because of her abusive childhood. As a war orphan, she grew up in the streets which were full of evil people, looking to take advantage of anyone they met. She became a victim of those people, who took her with them, teaching her the skills she knew now. Of course, they were not nice and were abusive towards her, beating her and even one of them sexually abusing her for years. Self harm was her way out of the mental and emotional pain she was feeling, turning them to physical one.

Obito was hearing her talk, feeling guilty with each second for never caring to ask her about herself, about why she was always wearing outfits that covered her arms and legs completely even when it was too hot outside. He felt stupid even. When Y/n finished talking, he couldnt think of ong anything else but hugging her and saying sorry for being ignorant to her pain. He never thought that he would feel sympathy for someone, but his heart ached for that woman. They both were similar in experiencing so much pain and for becoming the damaged adults they were.

After Y/n’s stories, the two became much closer and shared more detail about them. They felt that the compant the other person was providing was comforting and making them feel human again. A feeling they both longed to experience. Obito now swore to himself to be there for her always and to look after her, hoping to help her escape the constant self harming attempts. The tragic experience brought them closer and closer, resulting in the petals of love blooming between them. Obito found a new reason to live on and Y/n found someone who would be for her always. They did not even think about their bodies. All that mattered was that they are together.

My first edition of Tristan had the nickname Trix, fc of Laura Harrier, and was a lot more jittery, stiff and serious, and likeIy to hide behind Viktor. Tis isn't -- confrontational but xe is Tired and not looking to run. Xe's an Adult and xe isn't going to go looking for xyr past but xe is not going to not face it if it comes xe's way. Xe has a mixture of Mature and just Done approach [but there is a deep latent teasing that Theo can draw out ... at the cost of poor Viktor.] That said, xe is also not that social [though xe isnt against a fun time].

I'm trying to think which of my idiots would be the most tumblr-bound lol out of my current OCs. V would run a helluva shitpost blog. Like you know the Heritage Post level shitposts? That is absolutely something she would be fantastic at. But she'd constantly be night blogging: "V, why are you posting at 3:43am?" "Don't worry about it".

Era, on a completely different note, if she was given the time would have a beautifully formatted, gorgeously aesthetic blog showcasing her paintings, her painting set up, scenes around Dromund Kaas (especially the floral gardens) with everything carefully curated. Theme? Moody pastels. Photosets? Color coordinated.

I have SO many fond memories linked to my characters, especially ones I've made since joining tumblr back in...*checks notes* 2016ish as I've really built myself a fantastic community of mutuals that are so supportive, have engaged me with my characters all the more, and created some truly stunning joint worlds. I'll highlight a few that I've stumbled back across while digging through tumblr (though its absolutely NOT an all encompassing list):

The entire Fictober 2019, where I wrote Moments in Time will forever be special to me; it was my first attempt at fictober and the outpouring of love and support and excitement to follow ficlets of Wulfwryn and Raenor (who were NEW) was so inspiring and as we've seen they've become some of my most written characters <3

Emeldir's Traffic Cone Jacket Saga aka the series of in game shenanigans, fics, and prompts that @greyias and I clowned about a few years ago but keep resurfacing every once in awhile :P

Co-writing fics and writing duo fics with mutuals, especially the Idan and Terrance Odessen Reunion that @lumielles and I wrote pair fics for. There's something so beautiful about writing together with friends.

The enabling you all do >:D the Dream Team of Five, Roslynd, and Rhys wouldn't exist if @tiredassmage hadn't encouraged my tomfoolery with pulling Five off the shelf and breathing new life into a character I didn't think I'd feel inspiration for again and that truly is the story with so many of my characters. They wouldn't exist without y'all! Not in the way they currently do.

Terrance has been on my mind a lot lately (hence the stumbling back on the fics) and I really really need to talk more about him because not only is his and Idan's dynamic fantastic, but I actually really popped off with him when I created him. The idea of a miraluka who struggles really really hard with using the Force to "see" as he gets overwhelmed extremely easily, especially on high population planets (like Coruscant) or highly Force attuned planets (Tython, Odessen) is something I want to explore more. That, and I need to write more JediSon and JediDad because Idan really comes through and extends a kind hand to a young kid who has not been shown that. The simple things like a cup of tea, or some spare soft fabric for his eye covering. I need an excuse to go wild over Terrance lol

tumblr tips & things!

after growing rlly fast, i just wanted to provide some maybe helpful tips + things you could do if you’re a smaller blog! i am in no means an expert, I am still learning but this is what i’ve learned, specifically abt the mcyt tumblr community

disclaimer you DO NOT have to follow these, these are what ive learned and my opinion, but i think most writers can agree on this

its a lot of info im sorry ajdba but feel free to reblog and add ur own info!

1. tags!

theyre superrr important if you want exposure for your works + writing pieces, just make sure to tag accordingly

meaning: do not cross tag, or main tag, (ex do not tag just dream alone) keep ‘x reader’ content under the ‘x reader tags’

^people get uncomfortable with x readers and sometimes they slip through the filtered tags

my go-tos for tags are mcyt or cc name then the following prefixes- x reader, x y/n, x you, fanfic, fanfiction

if you have a fic for dream, DO NOT TAG george, it makes it confusing

also tags for ur random posts r super helpful because if someone doesnt want to see it, they can filter it out (my talking tag is basilly blabs)

adding a tag for the ppl you interact for! i like doing this cuz i can easily search a tag on my blog to see my prev interactions w/ them (ex. if i interact w/ userA then i tag userA’s username)

2. create some sort of brand

of course u can switch it up, but using ur own theme makes ur work recognizable to others

like mine is my banner- i use it on every of my works + important posts, so ppl can recognize me

banners can be found on the internet or twitter (but pls credit the artist w/ permission) i found mine on google

for super thin page dividers, i use ibis paint (mobile app) and made a super thin canvas (3405x57) and filled it w/ my theme color

3. plspls dont beat yourself up for rejecting requests or feeling uncomfortable

you are not forced to write requests, if they make you feel uncomfortable you can decline

also if you’re not happy with the work, you can spend the time to revise + edit, we will wait for work you are happy with!

+ if you are stuck with some details on writing smth, ask a mutual or others! more brains and more ideas!

4. same goes for writers block & health issues

we all get it sometimes, no one is pressuring you and if they are, its your blog, you decide. and your health matters more

5. the mcyt tumblr community is SUPER NICE

if u wanna be moots aka mutuals (follow each other) literally shoot them any message and they’ll respond so kindly

ive talked to so many incredible moots who I absolutely adore theyre so kind

also interacting w/ moots: they can reblog your work, creating exposure but do not expect reblogs, and same to you we are not expected to reblog

6. please check a cc’s boundaries before writing

@/smp-boundaries has a majority listed, and if not, ask!

7. if u have any questions, just ask!

lots of ppl will not even mind that much, like i said theyre super kind

8. navigation + masterlists!!

super important for everyone to see your rules, works, all put into one spot, it makes it 10x easier

9. backup ur works + asks

tumblr can be glitchy so its always helpful to back up works on google docs or smth similar

having ur whole fic deleted is not fun and demotivating

asks can be backed up by sending them to ur linked email- this has helped loads for me

10. dont worry too much abt likes + follows

all blogs start out small and as you go and keep persisting, ppl will start noticing + following, its all abt perseverance + trust the process

even when fics r rllllyy good, tumblr has its own bad days and u get low notes- dont let this discourage you

11. anonymous asks!

some ppl get nervous and request on anon! personally think theres more requests that way

12. small text or read mores!

internet is a great help w/ this and itll give you guides and step by step instructions

mobile also is a lot harder to make an aesthetic blog, so a laptop or pc or chromebook is super helpful

13. for max notes, post at ‘prime times’

i think the queue tells u when the prime time is to post for ur time zone, but also a google search is super helpful

or, guess and check! trial and error- i did this and found the best time to post for me

once you find it, you can schedule or queue your work so it posts for you!

14. if there’s sensitive topics pls add TW and CW

as writers yes we try to cover some topics that ppl request but we dont want to trigger others, so at the top include TW// (trigger warning) or CW// (content warning) and add a cut or read more

do not put CW or TW on content creators- no matter how bad they are, its rude and dehumanizing

15. Formatting is SUPER important!

if you do not separate your lines of dialogue or paragraphs, chances are people WILL skip over it. it makes it hard to read and sometimes it is’t worth people’s time

rule of thumb is make a new paragraph every time someone speaks and indicate who is talking or make is distinguishable!

if your fic is over 500 words, id add a cut as well! if you dont know how:

on mobile: type :readmore: in a new paragraph and hit enter w/out a space after the readmore

pc/laptop: new paragraph, three dots far right

Smut also def has its own set of rules but i am not a nsfw blog- main things i can say is please add cuts and check for cc’s boundaries

you stood infront of the mirror, trying on different outfits, though none seemed to spark your interest. as a matter of fact, you didn't like the way you looked in them. you had been infront of the mirror for almost 2 hours preparing for your date with tamaki that you didn't even realize you were late.

you stared at your body in the mirror, you felt frustation at the way nothing fit the way you wish it would. you'd think, 'why doesnt it bend here, or curve here' and slowly the frustration grew into sadness. you plopped down onto the bed with a sigh and held you head in your hands, almost missing the sound of your door opening.

"y/n– baby are you okay?" you heard your boyfriend say, worry evident in his tone as he rushed to your side, kneeling infront of you. you sniffled and looked down at your boyfriend, wiping your tears with your sleeve. "t-tamaki," your broken voice cried out.

"hey, whats wrong baby? c'mere," he cooed to you as he sat next to you, enveloping you in his arms as he stroked your hair, placing small kisses on your forehead. "nothing i tried on looks right, i hate the way my body looks." he frowns as he hears this, grabbing your chin and lifting your head gently to look into your eyes.

hi! i’ve heard you mention the gossip girl novels before, but if it’s not too much, id love to hear your opinions on them more in depth! like the characterization and the way it translates the series (and doesnt), or just your thoughts/opinions on them in general. i know it’s a bit of a tall order, but i love your analyses and deconstructions

ahh you sent this i think sometime last month, sorry for taking so long to get to it! i've been super head empty, no thoughts. anyway! i'm gonna begin with like, 2 disclaimers - the first being that i've only read two and a half books at this point, and everything else i know comes from conversations with friends and scrolling through people's blogs/LJs/the wiki pages, etc etc.

the second disclaimer is that the books do have their own problems. a lot of things aged pretty poorly, and if the books were being released today as they are, a lot of that stuff would not fly. i'm not really going into this - in part because i haven't read all the books, so can't give a full analysis of that, and also in part because you haven't really asked abt this specifically! but i do feel i should put this out there, in case you decide to read the books of your own accord, just so that you are aware of what you're getting into.

i'm gonna go character by character, and then blabber a little about relationships in the books!

characters!

blair - book!blair may just be my all time favourite. she's got a lot of the things i really loved about show!blair going for her, minus a lot of the things that made me uncomfortable, like the glaring levels of classism, etc. something i remember that made me laugh was this scene in the books, at a dinner party or something, and blair is so disgusted/appalled by something that she spits food into her wine goblet & dorota takes the goblet away and gets her a new one. that's objectively disgusting, but i loved little things like that - it made book!blair feel more human and real, i guess. i also feel like a lot of the things dair shippers like to see about blair - she cares so much with all her heart, yes she is schemey but she is not Evil, she's sensitive, she's awkward, she's not naturally good with people, she's anxious, etc - all these parts of her character came thru sooo well in the books, better than in the show imo. book!blair is just a girl who wants things to be Perfect. show!blair is like this too, one could argue - but book!blair just felt a lot more likeable to me.

vanessa- i like that vanessa is a main character in the books, but i didn't really read enough of the books to get a grip on her character. i've heard people who read all the books say that she's really fascinating, that she's got this tough exterior and she seems harsh and mean on the surface, but she's really warm and softhearted and kind, inside - but the books i've read so far only showed me the surface of her character. (i do love that she's all punk, aesthetically, and that she listens to belle & sebastian, though. girl after my own heart.) that said, the book in which dan had his gay arc and vanessa tried to seduce him back to heterosexuality, sadly (told you the books aged badly) make it hard for me to stan book!vanessa. i feel like show!vanessa would bonk book!vanessa on the head for that.

jenny - the bits of the books i've read so far had jenny characterisation much like s1 jenny before her whole ~corruption arc, which was sweet. there's some implication, i think, about jenny having an eating disorder of her own, which would've been interesting for the show to get into (if they'd done it well, that is, which is a pretty big "if" tbh, the show did all things jenny-related absolutely terribly.)

dan - my main dan thought is just -why did they make him such a stalker :((( but tbh, dan is. he's this mopey sad boy who is all "woe is me" and he feels... idk how to explain this, he feels like a parody of show!dan. i love him, but i feel like show!dan just had more layers to his personality. then again, i've only read 2.5 books. also - dan getting a CANON QUEER ARC IN THE BOOKS - dan getting a BOYFRIEND!!! hello! television did us so dirty. i really do feel like penn played dan as a queer man (& thank god for penn, really) but i wish it'd been an explicit thing, and not just penn saying that in his opinion, dan is gay. but thank god for penn, at least.

chuck - book!chuck was great. i mean, he was terrible, but he wasn't romanticised. everyone in the show was aware he was terrible, and he was sort of there just to be the butt of the joke (& to steal dan's man, A+ plot, i wish we'd gotten that on the show with dan's boyfriend breaking up with him for chuck. sorry dan. but hey, if he dumps you for chuck, he didn't deserve you anyway!) i loved how chuck was portrayed as this "downside to being rich is that we're invited to the same parties as bart bass's horrible son" which is quite literally something we get, in blair pov, if i'm remembering right. beautiful.

serena & nate get a single bullet point in which i don't say much, because i feel the books didn't really have Much. their characters weren't very deep, imo. show!serena and show!nate had a lot more depth and nuance and character, they had more fleshed out personalities. that said, nate's character's arcs were more interesting - i won't put any spoilers in here, but what happened to him was very interesting, and very different from the kind of arcs show!nate got, to the best of my knowledge.

book rufus was such a weirdo. not sure what he was like as a dad, OR as a person, but A+ fictional character. love him.

apparently both kati & is are plus-sized in the books?? it wasn't done very well, from what i've heard, there was fatphobia involved with their narratives, but i wish the show had kept that, and allowed them to be cool, glam, popular mean girls who weren't thin. in fact, i just wish more characters on the show had been fat - ditto this with the reboot. different body types PLS istg

marx the humphrey cat deserved to be a tv character too. why didn't we get him :(

relationships!

dan got a boyfriend, as i said. i wish that'd happened on the show.

there are such heavy implications of blairena being endgame. the resolution of the blairenate love triangle is LITERALLY blair & serena choosing each other over nate. i feel like the show should've had blairena endgame too, i think the message of that would've been far more impactful, hard-hitting, AND true to the books than the chair/derena endgames could ever hope to be. the books were relatively ambiguous about the nature of the blairena relationship, too, you could've read that as them choosing their friendship over nate, but you could've also read that as them realising they were in love with each other, and their love for each other was far more than their love for poor natie - both interpretations are equally supported by canon, and it would've been soooo easy for the show to take this angle. much like the end of s3 for blairena/beginning of s4, with its whole "forget all these shitty men! you're my best friend! all i need to be happy is YOU, let's go to paris together!" - if the show had ended like that... it would've been so beautiful.

the whole blairnessa arc sounds really cool! i haven't read the book in which that happens, but it is the next gg book i hope to read (i think it's book 8, from what i've been told, if i'm remembering that correctly) - they go from roommates to besties, but it's canon that vanessa kept some of blair's clothes even after she moved out. girlfriends!!!! the fact that blairnessa clothes sharing is canon on the show, too, albeit for different reasons, makes me rlly happy.

a lot of people talk about the potential of blairenate as a polyam triad in the books, which i like! the books really did a lot to centre the childhood friendship of blairenate, and the way those 3 grew up together. like, think the vibes of the thanksgiving episode in s1 w/ the flashbacks to the year right before - the books had SO many moments like that. we deserved that on the show, too. </3

honestly????my otp for the books is serenate. i mean. look at this. so cute. this is deeply funny, given that i don't really ship show serenate.

along the same vein! i thought book!jenate was really cute. the kind of crush jenny has on blair in the show, that innocent and cutesy "this person is so cool and so out of their league and i want to be their friend and i really like them" kind of blenny dynamic?? that is the book!jenate dynamic. (i mean, it's problematic because nate's technically cheating on blair and jenny doesn't know, which sucks, but i liked their dynamic, ignoring that.)

book!derena sucked so much. it made me sad, how much it sucked. dan literally just stalked her, and then they went on a date that was a terrible failure, and like. nothing clicked. no sparks. nothing i liked about show!derena existed between them at allll.

apparently nate/georgina is a thing that happened in the books, which i find very interesting! haven't read that bit yet, but i know it happened.

😘 Details and how to start your order below 😘

💲 COST: Pony bead bracelets, with colors, b&w words, or plain star beads, are $1 each, no taxes, just $1.00 flat. The use of colored letters and iridescent stars are $1.25. As of right now to keep stock up, bracelets consisting of Only star beads aren’t available to order. Charm options are not yet available, but will eventually be added, and prices may range. This is all just based on how much it costs to buy the beads to make these bracelets! 💲

📦 SHIPPING: Each order will end up with a different estimate for shipping costs, based on where you live, and how many bracelets you order. I ship through USPS and I should be able to ship almost anywhere, but the further away you are, the higher shipping will be. I’m shipping out of Kansas. Domestic shipping will probably start at around $3 - $8, international shipping will just have to depend. If you want an estimate before starting an order, just give me your address and an idea of how many bracelets you might want, and I’ll get back to you asap. 📦

🤷‍♀️ AVAILABILITY: I have a full rainbow array of pony beads including b&w, some neons and pastels too, I have a nice color range of star beads including b&w and transparent, and some iridescent star beads as well, and then for letters I have black on white, white on black, color on black and color on white. A lot of these can be seen in the example image above!  🤷‍♀️

IMPORTANT TO NOTE;;; My pony beads are all around 6x4mm, and the letter beads are 6x6mm. This is considered somewhat Small for kandi bracelets. This isn’t a choice I made to skimp out, this size is actually more expensive and harder to find than the usual 6x9mm, I just very much prefer this size to work with and wear. It’s only a tad bit more subtle, but it fits most people a lot better and I would Definitely recommend it for people with smaller wrists or who are just starting out with Kandi.

🤔 HOW TO ORDER: So basically, how you choose to tell me the pattern you want is up to you, you can draw it out if you want or just try to explain it with words, or whatever else works. Once you explain what you want, I’ll show you what beads I have that match your request, and you can decide what you want out of those options. 

An example could be; “I would like a bracelet with a repeating pattern of red and blue pony beads, with the word PLUR in black on white letters, and two pink stars on each side, just like this!” 

To which I might say; “Ok, here I have 2 shades of red and 4 shades of blue, and I have plain pink stars or iridescent pink, which ones would you like me to use?” and then I’d show you a picture of all of these colors for you to decide! Once we have all your bracelets planned out, I’ll ask for a few more details to give you your total price. Then once the payment goes through, I’ll start working! Whenever your bracelets are all complete, I’ll send you pictures of the finished products to make sure you like them (if not I’ll redo at no extra charge). After you give the OK, I’ll ship them out! (You can also ask for some ‘random/surprise me’ bracelets if you aren’t sure of any patterns, of course.)

📿 CHARMS: If you’d like more options, the best solution I’ve been able to think of for now is that if you’d like, you could surf Ebay, Etsy, Etc. till you find some charms you’d want me to use, and then if you’re okay with covering the cost to get them (typically $5 to $15 for a decent lot) and then waiting a bit extra for me to receive them, I would have no problem using those for you! :) Someday I’d really like to stock up on popular charms to have more choices available, but I don’t quite have the funds quite yet. 😷 ALLERGY/SENSITIVE SKIN NOTICE: I seal small parts of my bracelets to reduce the chance of breakage. I use a very tiny drop of Loctite Super Glue Gel on the knot. This glue does not keep the beads from moving freely or lock them into place, it’s used sparingly as a sealant. If you ever receive a bracelet that is locked or sticky, I would fully refund you and offer to send another. You can also absolutely opt out of this, Just add “No glue” somewhere to your order. Just be warned that your bracelet will be less protected from breakage. 😷

❗ DISCLAIMER: Either way, I cannot take responsibility for a bracelet eventually breaking down. Kandi and elastic bracelets in general are a bit prone to snapping, but mostly over time and especially if used in rave settings. I use high quality jewelry elastic from amazon, very high rated and recommended by other Kandi makers, and I knot them 3 times, so mine should last as long as they possibly can. Please make sure your wrist measurements are as accurate as they can be, and please be gentle when taking them on or off, just being careful will help prolong it’s usage by a lot. Now if a bracelet arrives broken, I will of course replace it, no extra charge. ❗

🦄 STICKERS: Order 5 bracelets and get one free sticker! Order 10 and get two, so on and so forth in a pattern of 5. The stickers are hand cut by me from large books and sheets, so the edges might look odd but the sticker itself should be unharmed. These are completely random, and based loosely around a scenecore aesthetic. Most are pretty ‘medium’ sized, but they do range quite a bit. 🦄

✍ CONTENT: Kandi, scene and rave culture, is in a general sense, a very upbeat and supportive based environment. I do not want to make bracelets with negative messages on them. I will obviously NEVER make any with hate speech or rude remarks, but beyond that, please keep your phrases positive. If you want something thats meant to fight hate, like “kill all n*zis” or something, I'm not opposed to that as it’s for justice, it’s just that most Kandi is focused on ‘happy party vibe’ messages. As far as media or interests, like if you want a bracelet that says “Gir” or “100 gecs”, or uses ship names, etc. I will not deny you any interest you choose. BUT, I am personally uncomfortable with d.dl/g and won’t make bracelets based on that, nor will I ever make bracelets supporting ped0ph1lic or 1ncestu0us content, including if they’re based on medias or fictional ships. As far as pride bracelets, I would LOVE to make those for you, and I will Never deny working with your identity, pronouns, etc. once again, unless it’s a p/ed0 flag or something. I will never deny working with any mental or physical disability/illness or other kind of divergency pride. Race and/or religion pride is also great except for “White pr1de” because of the violent connotations behind that concept. NSFW Kandi is fine, cussing is fine, I hope this goes without saying but please only ask for Kandi with a slur on it if you can reclaim that slur, and overall, just be mindful with what you ask for if you plan to wear it in public settings like raves. anyone else ever run into that ‘demisexuality’ isnt real bullshit discourse?

i ran into it once on an ace positive blog of all places :/ (which there’s a ton of wonderful ace blogs i follow them so like. idk what that one specific person’s issue was, they were just really big on ‘demi isn’t real lol its just for special snowflake romance feelers/sexual ppl’ ahahaha fuck off)

like. while i know demi sits in this grey ass space that might not be understood by everyone? as someone who feels i’m most likely demisexual and demiromantic... i gotta tell u... i sure as fuck do NOT relate to a person who just feels romantic and sexual attraction for strangers/new people. cannot fucking relate at ALL. and for a long time i just thought idk? other people were lying about liking someone on sight? i thought other people were just having boring hookup sex with strangers since i could not possibly feel sexual attraction that fast so how could anyone else be? then over time of course. i realized no, actually, TONS of people really do feel crushes immediately or early on into knowing people. TONS of people who find someone attractive on sight can enjoy making out with them right away. i’m the one they don’t understand feeling like lol. 

like for me? crushes are such a perplexing thing. because while i can understand i aesthetically find a stranger pleasing, and find them ‘interesting to get to know’ - i cannot actually feel a crush romantically or sexually that fast. i HAVE to get to know someone for a few months before i’ll develop any actual potential romantic feelings, IF i develop them at all. i am incapable of those whirlwind relationships where ur intensely into someone within a month! i just absolutely cannot feel that attached that quickly. i can decide on sight if i find a stranger objectively ‘cute’ to me, but if i make out with them or flirt? i’m gonna feel absolutely nothing. im gonna be bored. i absolutely need to get to know them for a few months before i’m going to feel any of that enjoyable spark known as sexual chemistry, any of that enjoyable excitement of having a romantic crush (IF i feel it at all). i know i CAN feel romantic and sexual attraction, i just also know i’m absolutely not feeling it the way some of my friends do. my friends can know if they have a crush a lot sooner... and if i try to help ppl figure out if they have a crush, some of the ways ‘i figure it out’ just are not the ways other people do lol. for me? a good friendship with a person i find hot, and a lover, are going to feel exactly the same for the first few months for me lol. its only once i get closer to them i’ll find out if i develop a crush and feel attraction to them. 

i’ve read people argue that’s not demi, that’s just regular sexual/romantic attraction. but bitch... i have friends who can feel sexual attraction with a hot stranger. i have friends who feel that crush spark in the first few meetings, even if it still takes months for love to develop (because yeah LOVE does take months+ to develop... but for some people a crush does not take as long to know you have one or not). 

i used to think i was just demisexual. because i know i feel absolutely Nothing unless i have a deep emotional bond with someone after a few to several months/years. so hookups unfortunately bore the fuck out of me. 

then like. the more i talked about crushes with other people. the more i was like... oh... oh damn... it doesnt take EVERYONE ELSE 2-3 months to figure out if they ‘like’ someone romantically? i thought it did lol. Nope... seems like yeah it takes Plenty of people months/years to figure out if they Love people... but just a crush? Either plenty of people crush faster than i do, or else a TON of people are dating people they feel nothing for at all. im not sure, i’m not them, idk how crushes feel to them and if people Do often date people they feel nothing for or not. 

i know this is all a mess lol. this is just me saying i suppose, why not let demiromantic and demisexual as labels be. if it means someone finds a label that helps them feel less alone and realize other people have felt like them too and relate. i don’t particularly care how ‘different’ or not it is from full on romantic/sexual attraction to an outsider. i know for me i sure as hell feel like the way i feel those kinds of attraction isn’t the same as a lot of my peers. and it feels nice to know im not the only person who doesn’t ‘get’ feeling any attraction for people you haven’t bonded with. it feels nice to know there’s other people who get what i mean. anyway shout out to greyromantic and demiromantic and demisexuals who struggle to explain how the fuck things feel from our perspective and when we try to explain to people we often run into people not going through the same kind of attraction process we do. shout out to not knowing if you’re even remotely into someone until you get to know them well, and that’s before stuff like love even factors into it. to not being able to talk to some people about it cause they just don’t get how ur feeling.

what inspired this whole rant is. a long while back i saw some people thinking demisexual just amounted to being allosexual and choosing to abstain from immediate sexual activity. :/ that is not the same. plenty of allosexuals wait until in committed relationships, or a while of dating, or being in love, to have sex. but they know they’re attracted a lot fucking sooner than i do. i genuinely have no idea if i like someone for a long while. which lol :/ aside from convos with people and not quite getting what They mean, just means a small situation in dating happens to be... some people will date and right away know if they like me or not, then want a relationship. and wonder why i don’t physically flirt or act attracted, and think i’m going slow, and get impatient and want to go date someone else instead of waiting for me to get to know them enough to know if i like them that way lol. which just means finding compatible people to try getting to know who are okay with a few months of getting to know before anything develops romantically/sexually if its gonna lol.

anyway. sure do dislike demiromantic and demisexual erasure. ToT

Recently found your blog so I was wondering, thoughts on the Animaniacs reboot?

AAAA OMG WELCOME!!! HOPE UR ENJOYIN IT SO FAR \OUO/!!!

i LOVE this question and i have sO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE REBOOT so ima try to break it down into my likes, dislikes, and hit or miss (things i liked some of the time but not all the time)

🌈  10 things i liked!!!!! 🌈 <-- in no particular order

1. THE THEME SONG REWRITE!!!! ITS GREAT!!! og series callbacks, DELIGHTFULLY MORE INCLUSIVE, all those unnecessary side characters cut out, no weird celebrity references JUST RLLY WELL DONE and im glad they just redid the old one instead of making a brand new one ITS A CLASSIC!! plus this way u rlly notice those differences and how great they are

2. SPEAKING OF nO BORING SIDE CHARAS... YEAH!! THAT!! perhaps an unpopular opinion but ive never been a fan of the side characters and watched the og show p much exclusively for the warners so i LOVE that its mostly about them now!! (( i do miss the mime tho but they shoulda been nicer to him u_u ))

3. also like the theme song: MUCH LESS CELEBRITY CAMEOS/REFERENCES there are still a few but i feel like they were WAY more abundant in the og series and im rlly glad they calmed down w that, its actually Not That Fun to try and spot all the celebrities 

4. mORE “IRL”/TIME IN THE TOWER!!! while there are some shorts where the warners are “acting” (gold meddlers, warners unbound etc) the VAST MAJORITY(19) of the 26 warner shorts take place “irl”!! WE GET TO SEE THEM IN THE TOWER SO MUCH!! eating together, shopping together, TRICK OR TREATING TOGETHER!!! and i just LOVE this stuff its sO GOOD FOR CHARACTER BUILDING!! 

5. DIVERSITY!!!! EVEN THE BG CHARACTERS!! EVEN IN BODY TYPE!!! no more fatness only as a joke and hotness as the only other option for women, PPL ARE AVERAGE AND I LOVE IT

6. OVERALL CONSISTENT QUALITY!!! THE ANIMATION IS REALLY INCREDIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH!!! that was one of the BIGGEST flaws of the og series, so many eps were animated poorly bc they were handed off to studios that rlly didnt know how to draw the warners so its HELLA to see them beautifully animated in EVERY ep of the reboot so far

7. nO HORNY JOKES...POSSIBLY ANOTHER UNPOPULAR OPINION?? bUT I NEVER RLLY LIKED ALL THESE HORNY JOKES GIVEN TO KIDS IN THE FIRST PLACE LKDKD its actually rlly neat to see how creative the writing gets when they cant just horny joke their way out of a situation ALSO THIS BIT WAS AMAZING 

8. I RLLY LOVE THAT THE CEO DOESNT HATE THEM!!!!! it was so frustrating in the og series that the ceo wouldnt even hear them out EVEN WHEN IT WAS STUFF THAT WOULD BENEFIT HIM its nice that this lady is insane AND greedy aND YET ISNT REALLY MALICIOUS TOWARDS THE WARNERS AT ALL at least not any more than she is to anybody else ITS REFRESHING!! I LIKE NORITA

9. ANIME-NIACS!!!!! thATS ALL I GOTTA SAY ABOUT THAT LDJLKD

10. FANGIES!!!!!!!!! they always had fangy energy im so glad it finally manifested...

⭐ 4 things i didnt like ⭐  i was gonna make this a top 10 list but i couldnt think of 10 things i didnt like djkldkljd

1. THE REDESIGN.... yes i know i was just celebrating the fangs bUT other than that i rlly wasnt a fan of the redesign.. its just too ...animal?? the triangle noses and changing their white faces to beige just seemed rlly unnecessary imo..

aLSO THEY LOST THEIR CLOWNINESS!!! ;;;;; i miss that clown aesthetic... big round red noses, white faces.. also i loved it when characters would try to describe them and say things like THEY HAVE FACES LIKE A CREEPY CLOWN dLdlkjdJLK

im not sure why they couldnt at least stay w the white n black like the old cartoons theyre based on??? THERES EVEN A SONG IN THE REBOOT THAT SAYS “LIKE US, ITS BLACK AND WHITE” bUT... THEYRE NOT BLACK N WHITE ANYMORE LDKKDJ 

also the redesign is a lot more angular/less round than the original and i jus prefer the sof..

2. GROSS OUT HUMOR  ..LIKE HONESTLY WTF LDLJKLJKDD theres not too much of it thankfully but the og series had like.. nONE so it was a shock when theyd suddenly zoom in on marie antoinette’s finger and it was LIKE THAT and the pigeon scene at the end of “the cutening” actually made me feel sick sdjkdjk JUST IN GENERAL IM NOT A FAN OF GROSS OUT HUMOR SO .. EUUGHGH 

3. those random new shorts that are like???? whyd u get rid of the side characters if ur gonna have these guys anyway?? the gnome in ppls mouths and the alien guy?? neither were funny to me and again the gnome short was mostly gross 

4. YAKKO CANT DO MATH?? YAKKO DOESNT KNOW WHAT PLEBIAN MEANS??? HELLO?? HE HAS A VERY COMPLICATED SONG WHERE HE BREAKS DOWN MULTIPLICATION AND ANOTHER WHERE HE SINGS EVERY WORD IN THE DICTIONARY!! hES SO SMART LET HIM BE SMART hES A HUGE NERD PLS...

💣 HIT OR MISS 💣 

THE SONGS!!! while i love that they brought back the musical aspect of the show (its rlly not animaniacs without singing tbh) the songs were sUPER VARIED IN QUALITY IMO 

the reboot song? AMAZING

the song about dot’s zit??? ... no..

🌈  OVERALL I HAVE A LOT MORE POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT THE SHOW THAN NEGATIVE AND IF ANYBODY ASKS I ALWAYS SAY I LOVED IT!!! 🌈

IS IT PERFECT? NAH

IS IT FUNNY AND FUN AND IN GENERAL A SHOW THAT MAKES ME AS HAPPY AS THE OG SERIES DID? ABSOLUTELY 100%!!!

i just came back to the fandom in??? idk august i think and it’s been so overwhelmingly lovely here, truly my heart is so constantly warmed by the kindness and inclusivity of the community. i write drarry for three reasons: i love writing, i love the boys, and i love the hp series. writing fic gives me so much pleasure in the way it lets me explore that world beyond the boundary of the books, and bc it gives me smth to write abt that i rly like writing about, which means i do more writing in general. i get mad at myself a lot for not writing original stuff (with the intention of publishing) but i’ve been reminding myself more and more lately that it doesn’t have to be about that, and furthermore, enjoying writing and having a talent for writing doesnt mean u have to strive for being published. hello!!!!! it’s so healthy to have a hobby u enjoy where the pleasure of the act itself is the point.

a midsummer affair

this one really just. flowed out of me! i had sm fun writing it and it was the first time i dabbled in a nonlinear narrative too. i love the aesthetics of it, i think it’s one of my best in that regard. thanks to @kinkybazsmolsnow for the prompt that inspired it.

two hours later

this one came out of me in a whole ass torrent of emotion. i started it when i was rereading the series and on book 5 i think, anticipating the end drawing closer and being excited for it and also dreading it bc i know it always leaves me a touch unsatisfied, as much as i love it. and then i finished most of it after i read the 7th. so this was cathartic as well as fun to write. and again, i like the aesthetics a lot. nailed it!

this has been so much!! fun to write!! @dracoladon is literally such a gem and makes writing this rp fic an absolute trip. i’m so grateful for it bc it’s been hard for me to get myself to write my longer fics or prompts atm so this keeps me writing and is also an amazing project to boot. so excited for where it’s going.

now im not quite sure if you want only writing tips or writing blog tips, so ive included tips and tricks for both!

WRITING BLOG TIPS :

have a masterlist. this might seem stupid and obvious, but ive seen people with no masterlist. people are lazy, so if they cant access your writing easily, they will just click away.

have a clean theme. aesthetics are important. they are. people love clean and easy to navigate themes. again, people are lazy, so if you make it easy to click through your blog and get to your writing, youll increase the chance of people reading your stuff!

how to get your work show up in general. putting links in your fanfic might lead to your story not showing up in the search. ive also heard that a banner thats too big can cause that. even using too many tags can lead to your work not showing up. its complicated.

the first five tags. im sure youve heard abt this already but the first five tags are the tags that will actually show up! so if someone follows #bts fluff and you tag your fic with that, your fic can show up on people's dashes as a recommended post!

tag accordingly. speaking of tags, please tag accordingly! theres nothing more annoying than finding a jimin fanfic in the taehyung fanfic tag. i really discourage you from mistagging your stories. if im scrolling through the taehyung fanfic tag and find a jimin fanfic, it makes me want to not read it. just tag your fics accordingly.

reblog your fics. i mean it. seriously, reblog them as much as you want! people live in different time zones or sometimes forget abt wanting to read your stuff, so reblogging it consistently for a week or so to get it on people's dashes helps!

teasers and taglists. i recommend doing both! teasers help to get people excited for your story and taglists ensure that people will read it, or at least remember to!

dont stress abt notes. now, this is less of a tip but rather something i just really really really want to tell you! i know youve heard this before, but please do not stress about notes. tumblr fame does not exists! it doesnt matter if your writing gets 2 notes or 300 or 5k notes! i do understand how getting a lot of notes can be motivating (every fics deserve all the love in the world by the way!!) but in the end, it should not be your motiviation to write. focusing on notes will ruin writing for you. it will. the amount of notes your fic will reach has nothing to do with how good your writing is. dont let something as superficial as notes ruin the fun of writing for you. its seriously not worth it! write for you and no one else!

WRITING TIPS :

write self indulgent fics. i seriously think all fics should be self indulgent. writing fics should be fun, so please write whatever you want! also, theres no such thing as an overdone trope. if you want to write a fake dating enemies to lovers fic, please write it! you might think there are already a bunch out there and its not worth writing another one, but youre wrong! there isnt one out there thats been written by you yet. go write it!

make playlists. now this is a bit specific to me because im absolutely obsessed with music, but making playlists that fit the mood of the fic has always helped me while writing and gotten me out of writers block before!

take your time. writing is freaking hard and when writers block hits, theres rarely ever something that you can do. try not to stress too much abt it! it happens to the best of us!

balance dialogue and detail. its important to find a middle. if im reading a fic and theres paragraph after paragraph after paragraph of detail, the chance of me just skipping that part is really high. because even though i love detail, it does get boring. so use dialogue to spice it up!

reading. okay, this sounds weird because youre asking for writing tips, but reading seriously help your writing so much! if you wanna improve your writing skills, reading a lot is going to be key. now, im not saying reading is necessary, but i do think that it can help you to better! whats even more important though is that you try to analyse people’s writing while reading. when i say you should analyse people’s writing, i do not mean you should write an entire analysis of a book, but to take a second and think to yourself how the authors just did that. how did they convey oc’s sadness? why did they just describe the weather? whats the purpose of this scene?

switch up sentence/paragraph length. shorter sentences/paragraphs = emphasise something and pick up the pace. longer sentences/paragraphs = slow down the story and allow for more detail. its important that you do a mix of both. utilise the length to your advantage. a well placed short sentence/paragraph can pack a lot of punch and turn your sad story in a heartbreaking one.

outline your fics. look this is very personal again because some people dont like to outline their fics, but i recommend outlining your fics. and when i say outline your fics, you can do it as little or as much as you want! it can be a few notes, or a long list of every detail you want to include. i just want you to know where this story is headed. its so easy to write yourself in a corner and trust me, you dont wanna end up there.

allow yourself to be free. this connects to the previous point i just made. even though i do recommend outlining your fics, i am also a firm believer of taking the story somewhere else if you feel like it. ive scrapped complete outlines before. half of the scenes i write also arent in my outline at all. you dont have to stick to the outline. if you think that a specific scene would add something to your story, then please go ahead and write that scene. just always remember where youre headed and dont loose focus.

have fun. i just really wanna reiterate this point again. its just so important to me that you have fun while writing! seriously. its just fanfiction. it should be fun. go crazy. i support you!
