there are many songs sldkjfsdf BUT I do like giving Darra and Teldryn old rock songs! The kind you hear in dive bars sung very passionately by someone who is also very drunk. Bataqq gets songs that you hear dads play on long road trips and some highlights from the ESO soundtrack, and Elyas gets hip-hop and R&B songs from the 90′s to early 2000′s.

I’ll pop quite a few (many) here :] They’re mostly old hits so people will probably know a lot of these already, and they’re also curated to what I like soooo it might be a hit or miss

Darra has a whole playlist of drunk woman songs. These celebrate that she’s very flawed and has a lot of work to do, but she’s mostly content and making peace with herself. Some highlights:

Got Character Theme Songs?

What’s your characters’ theme songs? What song describes them as a person or their story/aesthetic? 

I’ve been seeing people put songs with their characters and it’s helped me grasp the vibe for said character so well. I want to 1, find more songs and 2, learn about yall’s characters that I’ve most likely never seen before //eyes emoji

Also what other methods have helped you understand a character? Do moodboards actually help folks or are there other methods I haven’t seen yet?

Personally thinking of a few characters of mine, listening to The Eagle Has Landed by Avatar and it makes me think of a Tarnished that’s driven to become God-Lord, real eccentric overconfident self-absorbed but actually a talented menace type basically lol  just wait and I’ll make one to fit the song, I got a lineup of ideas waiting for visuals
