“Chuutaro..come here”

said Soramaru, holding a big box full of christmas decorations. “You should help me decorate the tree, before aniki returns, so he will be surprised, and honored to put the shiny star on the top of it”. Soramaru loved surprises,even if he did not seem so, he would love to see their brother smiling,and make him remember that they were a family. Christmas after all was a period that all the families were spending time togetheer,and Shirasu had already promised to cook for them.

Taking the tree out of the box,the second Kumo tried to position it on the corner of the room while his little brother was bringing the decoration closer.

“Chuuuuutarouuu~!” A wild Big Brother appears! Tenka uses tackle! and is successful! Tenka gives Chuutarou lots of hugs and cuddles. “Your big brother was worried~! Now he’s super happy to see you return~!”

What a welcome. Just what... What were those things--?! It was nothing like Tenka had ever seen before. This didn’t seem to be the doing of the Orochi, just what is happening...? The first person that came to mind was to protect Chutarou. Tenka was strong enough to protect himself but he wouldn’t forgive himself if one of his brothers were hurt. 

He dashed back as fast as he could to his apartment room, hoping his brother was alright. Soon he finally made it. He quickly held onto Chutarou’s hand and tried not to panic in front of him.

“Chutarou! Stay behind me, something weird is going on outside and...”

He trailed off. Tenka wanted to avoid Chutarou from knowing anything about this, it’ll scare him. He took a deep breath and gave a soft smile.

“Don’t leave my sight, alright? Onii-chan will give you a piggy-back ride.”
