lol, so I saw a few posts about Belphie’s card and went on the game just to see him, saw the prologue and..I couldn’t stop laughing from the MC and the kings just like “WE NEED THEMMM AHVSHSGDJDHJDHDJ” so here I wrote this small thing lmao :
Running away mission :
It was a normal day in hell, actually heaven no it wasn’t at all, this weird phenomenon dude appeared and for some reason ALL the kings turned beastly! The only ones that aren’t on my track are Lucifer ; Belphegor and Asmodeus, which is the biggest Blessing ever! Now to escape those breeding crazed maniacs….
First one to dodge is Satan, which is actually pretty easy just steal one of his motorcycle and run away while looking extremely badass.
Second Mammon. After arriving at Tartaros, just gotta find a teleporter (sadly in the palace) and end up in Abyssos…
Which third and probably hard one Beelzebub, this fucker as an extraordinary scent, so maybe if I go see Bael while dodging the other three who might try to capture me I’ll be able to get out of here just avoid those freaking flies at all costs!
Okay made it out and now I’m…in Hades…WHY SO MANY PEOPLE LOOKING FOR ME?!—
Something grabs Tae Hyun as they float in the air and start punching the air very aggressively :
“FORAS! YOU CUTE BASTARD!! LET ME GO THIS INSTANT!!”
“My apologies…I must take you to see our Majesty I have been running around to get you all day you’re not very easy to catch…and you also go too fast on a motorcycle I fell off…” Foras feels sick, remembering the moment they had hoped on the motorcycle, happily blushing to be able to be so close to the son of Solomon, when suddenly he hears a shout and Satan was chasing them with another motorcycle, while laughing maniacally and Tae Hyun had pumped up the gas and he fell off-
Tae Hyun struggles as another man grabs them using roses ivy, his voice as bright as the sunshine.
“Haha! You really made our poor Foras run around Son of Solomon!”
Tae Hyun glares at the man and pouts angrily, “I’ll find a way out just you see!”
Arriving at Leviathan’s palace, he personally ties up Tae Hyun :
“I’ve been in your head, I know how you think. You were tiring to catch but now I can finally have you to myself to win the contest.”
“Do you really think so? Cause I’m already gone~”
*illusion dissipates and a laugh echoes through the palace*
“…they’re in the walls..! THEY ARE IN THE GODDAMN WALLS?!”
(I had to use that meme I’m sorry)
“Finally! Successfully escaped! Now I’m back to Tartaros…”
A golden hand suddenly appears under Tae Hyun grabbing them :
“Mammon….” They said.
“Master! I found them” He said smiling with his phone out
On the other side of the phone call was Levi, Beel and Satan
Levi : “Hey make sure they don’t suddenly disappear!”
Mammon : “of course I wo-…Master?”
The golden hand had dissolved and Tae Hyun disappeared along with it.
All of the kings : “…”
“they were right on the teleporter weren’t they?” Leviathan asked.
And then that’s when they call Belphegor! And after that they were on their way to Abaddon until Belphie decided to use Monster #7’s power to get Tae Hyun who were scared as hell cause they are scared of the dark.
And also they ran to Bathin and Andrealphus the moment they saw him like :
“Huh…wtf? *looks around* …..*spots Bathin and Andrealphus* BATHIN AND BABYGIRL!! 😭😭”
*runs to hug them, completely ignoring Belphie and Beleth*
“Am I in Niflheim??” Tae Hyun asked not letting go Bathin smiles and pets their hair and Andrealphus does his best to hug them back smiling softly
“Ah you caught me off guard” Andrealphus said
“Yes you are indeed in Niflheim” Bathin says
And after that the card goes as the same story y’all I still don’t have that card and do I want to farm? Not really but do I have to? I’m hella curious about the card story… maybe I don’t know also I had to reinstall that whole game

//I find it so insanely funny that, in the Ars Goetia, Beleth is like. the third in there after Baal and Paimon. They’re above Ulysses’ father. The only thing holding them back from just. not taking anyone’s crap is their pacifist nature and their lack of desire for conflict. one day they’re going to snap and it will NOT be fun. Other fun thought I had was when they’re angry, sound waves shake the ground when they step. My thought process was that music can have a strong influence on emotion and that’s the base of their power. They are the king of music and sound. If they put their heart into their music, they could probably cripple the whole of hell. But they don’t. Because they’re nice. And trauma but shh we don’t have to talk about that.
//tbh if they crippled all of Hell they'd be jumped shortly after
Tho I cannot wait for the moment where they snap, I think it'd be so cool to see them just give up and become what they hated: someone who uses violence to get respect. The conceguences would probably top it off nicely with then having to face that.
I love when characters who get 0 to no respect snap and remind everyone why they should get lots of it.

Third King is Beleth, his origin is not specified. He is said to ride a pale horse, his own appearance is unknown. To make him obey, hold a hazel wand and draw a triangle from South to East and then upwards. But be aware not to draw a circle. To show your respect to him bring a silver ring on your left middle finger to your face. He is said to bring any love to those he deems worthy, but to prove your worth, you shall not waver before him.

The Ten Rings of Solomon
Just as all religions have their deities and their good aligned beings, so too must they have their evils, something to demonize and cast hatred towards.
Solomon was once one of the Primordials, born even before Goros. He was the Primordial of Order, and was the most powerful of the Gods. However, his domain caused him great distress, as true order was impossible for him to possess, as Chaos was inherently a part of the universe, and thus his Order drove him mad, until one day, it consumed him. He went mad, becoming the first celestial being to fall, becoming the first fiend. He raged against the other gods, the conflict erupting in a great war that destroyed the original celestial realm, forcing the gods to create one anew. Eventually, the Gods managed to defeat Solomon, but his power was too great for him to be slain, so they split him into ten fragments, who in turn gained their own conscious. These fragments became known as The Ten Rings of Solomon.
The Largest Fragment: Baal, the King of Destruction.
Baal represents destruction, chaos, and the unrelenting force of annihilation. He delights in bringing about ruin and devastation on a grand scale, wielding immense power to unleash destruction upon the mortal realm.
Baal commands the largest army among the Ten Rings of Solomon. His legions consist of 250 legions of lesser to greater devils, numbering in the tens of thousands. These legions include powerful fiends such as pit fiends, horned devils, and various lesser devils.
Baal appears as a towering figure, his form wreathed in flames and smoke. He has a muscular physique, with fiery red skin and large, imposing horns that crown his head. He brandishes a massive obsidian greatsword, symbolizing his destructive might. He rules over the 10th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Eternal Flames
The Second Fragment: Paimon, the Duke of Secrets
Paimon is the keeper of secrets and forbidden knowledge. They are a master of manipulation and deception, offering hidden truths and forbidden wisdom to those who seek his favor.
Paimon's army is formidable, comprising 100 legions of devils. Their legions consist of various types of devils, including erinyes, barbed devils, and bearded devils. The number of troops in each legion can vary, but it is estimated that Paimon's army consists of several thousand devils.
Paimon takes the form of an elegant and androgynous figure. With porcelain skin, flowing silver hair, and piercing golden eyes, Paimon exudes an aura of mystique. Adorned in luxurious robes, Paimon holds a scepter, representing dominion over hidden knowledge and secrets. They rule over the 9th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Shadows.
The Third Fragment: Beleth, the Prince of Heresy
Beleth embodies heresy, rebellion against established norms and beliefs. He sows dissent and leads mortals astray with his persuasive rhetoric, challenging authority and undermining the foundations of order.
Beleth commands a slightly smaller force, with an army composed of 80 legions of devils. His legions consist of a mix of powerful and cunning fiends, such as bone devils, ice devils, and various lesser devils. The total number of troops in Beleth's army is in the thousands.
Beleth appears as a charismatic figure, donning regal black and gold attire. Their form is shrouded in swirling shadows, and their eyes burn with a piercing crimson glow. Beleth possesses both masculine and feminine qualities, a representation of their mastery over duality and heretical beliefs. He rules over the 8th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Apostasy.
The Fourth Fragment: Purson, the Marquise of Magic
Purson is a master of arcane arts and forbidden sorcery. He holds sway over the realm of magic, weaving dark spells and granting dark powers to those who dare to delve into the depths of his mystic domain.
Purson's forces are comprised of 60 legions of devils. These legions consist of spellcasting devils and magical entities, such as arcanaloths, imp familiars, and various spellcasting devils. The number of troops in Purson's army can vary, but it is estimated to be in the thousands.
Purson manifests as a majestic figure draped in flowing azure robes adorned with arcane symbols. Their appearance shifts between male and female, reflecting the ever-changing nature of magic. Their eyes shimmer with magical energy, and their hands emit subtle wisps of arcane power. Purson rules over the 7th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Arcane Enigmas.
The Fifth Fragment: Vinea, the Marquise of Silence
Vinea embodies silence and secrecy. She thrives in the shadows, manipulating events from behind the scenes and using her subtle influence to control and silence those who would oppose her.
Vinea's army consists of 50 legions of devils. Her legions are made up of stealthy and manipulative fiends, such as shadow demons, succubi, and various stealth-focused devils. The total number of troops in Vinea's army is estimated to be in the thousands.
Vinea takes the form of a lithe and graceful figure draped in ethereal grey robes. Their skin is pale, almost translucent, and their eyes are a piercing silver. Vinea's presence exudes an air of stillness and quiet, evoking a sense of unease and deep-seated secrets. Her domain is the 6th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Unending Silence.
The Sixth Fragment: Balan, the Earl of Perfection
Balan represents perfection and the pursuit of flawlessness. He is obsessed with achieving absolute excellence in all endeavors, driving mortals to extreme measures and pushing them beyond their limits in the quest for perfection.
Balan commands a disciplined army, composed of 40 legions of devils. His legions consist of well-trained and highly skilled fiends, such as legion devils, chain devils, and various martial-focused devils. The number of troops in Balan's army is estimated to be in the thousands.
Balan appears as a meticulously groomed figure, exuding an aura of regal perfection. They possess a youthful and androgynous beauty, with flawless features and radiant golden eyes. Balan's form is adorned with immaculate armor and wields a gleaming silver spear, embodying perfection in martial prowess. His domain is the 5th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Perfection.
The Seventh Fragment: Zagon, the Earl of Blood
Zagan revels in bloodshed and violence. He is a merciless warrior, inspiring acts of brutality and commanding legions of bloodthirsty followers. He delights in the sight and smell of spilled blood, spreading terror and chaos wherever he goes.
Zagan's forces are fierce and relentless, comprising 30 legions of devils. His legions consist of savage and bloodthirsty fiends, such as horned devils, barbed devils, and various combat-focused devils. The total number of troops in Zagan's army is estimated to be in the thousands.
Zagan takes the form of a hulking and muscular figure, covered in gnarled and scarred red skin. Their eyes burn with a crimson intensity, and their long, sharp claws drip with blood. Zagan's presence is accompanied by an overwhelming aura of violence and brutality. Zagon's domain is the 4th Ring of Hell, the Ring of Blood.
The Eighth Fragment: Belhor, the Earl of Despair
Belhor embodies despair, hopelessness, and the erosion of faith. He preys upon the weak-willed and the disillusioned, feeding off their misery and spreading a pervasive sense of despair and desolation.
Belhor's army is composed of 20 legions of devils. His legions consist of fiends that specialize in spreading despair and desolation, such as melancholy devils, despair devils, and various torturous devils. The number of troops in Belhor's army is estimated to be in the thousands.
Belhor appears as a gaunt figure, draped in tattered black robes that seem to absorb all light. Their skin is sickly pale, and their eyes glow with a haunting green light. Belhor's skeletal fingers clutch a rusted scythe, a symbol of the inevitable despair and decay they bring. His domain is the 3rd Ring of Hell, the Ring of Despair.
The Ninth Fragment: Barbatos, the President of Enchantments
Barbatos is a master of enchantments and illusions. He weaves intricate spells and beguiling illusions, leading mortals astray and distorting their perceptions of reality.
Barbatos commands 10 legions of devils. His legions consist of fiends with mastery over enchantments and illusions, such as succubi, hellfire warlocks, and various spellcasting devils. The total number of troops in Barbatos' army is estimated to be in the thousands.
Barbatos appears as a figure of refined grace, with a slender and agile frame. They possess a humanoid shape but are adorned with various devilish features. Their skin is a pale, flawless porcelain, tinged with an ethereal sheen. Elegant and intricate tattoos of arcane symbols wind across their body, pulsating with a faint glow. His domain is the 2nd Ring of Hell, the Ring of Illusion.
The Tenth Fragment: Astaroth, the Lord of Decay
Astaroth represents decay, corruption, and the inevitable decline of all things. He presides over the gradual erosion of life and vitality, bringing about decay and rot in all its forms.
Astaroth's forces are the smallest among the Rings of Solomon. His army consists of 5 legions of devils. These legions consist of fiends associated with decay and rot, such as plague devils, decay devils, and various pestilence-focused devils. The number of troops in Astaroth's army is estimated to be in the hundreds.
Astaroth appears as a towering figure, clad in tattered and decaying robes that hang loosely from their skeletal frame. Their flesh is putrid and rotting, with patches of decaying skin revealing glimpses of exposed bone. A crown of withered thorns rests upon their bald, disfigured head. A noxious aura of decay surrounds them, emanating a sickly greenish mist. His domain is the First Ring of Hell, the Ring of Decay.

2 Chronicles 8:11-18. "The Mark."
11 Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the City of David to the palace he had built for her, for he said, “My wife must not live in the palace of David king of Israel, because the places the ark of the Lord has entered are holy.”
So now Solomon becomes the Emperor of Egypt, adding it to his conquered territories, and thus Egypt, a Confederacy will become Federated into his Constitutional Monarchy, all built using legal, peaceful means with his neighbors:
1 Kings 9:16
"Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a portion unto his daughter, Solomon's wife."
1 Kings 9:17 shows that Gezer "was now rebuilt and made a fortified city of Solomon."[3]
The historian Josephus gives a similar account in his Antiquities of the Jews, Bk 8, Ch 6, Sec. 1:
"...he [Solomon] also built cities which might be counted among the strongest, Asor [Hazor] and Magedo [Megiddo], and the third Gazara [Gezer], which had indeed belonged to the Philistines; but Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, had made an expedition against it, and besieged it, and taken it by force; and when he had slain all its inhabitants, he utterly overthrew it, and gave it as a present to his daughter, who had been married to Solomon; for which reason the king rebuilt it, as a city that was naturally strong, and might be useful in wars, and the mutations of affairs that sometimes happen. Moreover, he built two other cities not far from it, Betchora Beth-horon was the name of one of them, and Beleth Baalath of the other. He also built other cities that lay conveniently for these, in order to the enjoyment of pleasures and delicacies in them, such as were naturally of a good temperature of the air, and agreeable for fruits ripe in their proper seasons, and well watered with springs."[4]
12 On the altar of the Lord that he had built in front of the portico, Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings to the Lord,
13 according to the daily requirement for offerings commanded by Moses for the Sabbaths, the New Moons and the three annual festivals—the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles.
14 In keeping with the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their duties, and the Levites to lead the praise and to assist the priests according to each day’s requirement. He also appointed the gatekeepers by divisions for the various gates, because this was what David the man of God had ordered.
15 They did not deviate from the king’s commands to the priests or to the Levites in any matter, including that of the treasuries.
16 All Solomon’s work was carried out, from the day the foundation of the temple of the Lord was laid until its completion. So the temple of the Lord was finished.
17 Then Solomon went to Ezion Geber and Elath on the coast of Edom. 18 And Hiram sent him ships commanded by his own men, sailors who knew the sea. These, with Solomon’s men, sailed to Ophir and brought back four hundred and fifty talents[c] of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon.
Ezion Geber=Backbone Of A Man, Foundation Of Human Essence
עצם
Verb עצם ('asam) speaks of a skeletal structure that (a) lies hidden beneath an obvious surface, and (b) provides the invisible inner strength that keeps the whole in shape. Noun עצם ('osem) means might or skeleton. Noun עצמה ('osma) means strength. Noun עצם ('esem) means bone but may also be used to refer to one's whole body. Adjective עצום ('asum) means mighty or numerous. Noun תעצמה (ta'asuma) is a plural and intensive form meaning might but a whole lot of it.
Our verb may also mean to shut or close, predominantly of eyes, and presumably in order to review one's inner mental structures. Noun עצמות ('asumot) appears to refer to the "bones" of one's reason, the certainties upon which all creativities are grafted.
עצה
Like the previous, the verb עצה ('asa) also means to shut and its sole Biblical occurrence also speaks of closing one's eyes in order to hatch plans in one's heart: to review or form one's inner and structural strength. The very common noun עץ ('es) means tree (whose fruits proverbially show its "heart"). Collectively, trees are known as עצה ('esa). The similar noun עצה ('aseh) describes the backbone of an animal.
עוצ
Probably a by-form of the previous, the verb עוץ ('us) means to counsel or regard with deep inner contemplation.
Elath= Terebinths. Solomon brought male sex slaves to the Palace. Specifcally the good looking ones with big cox and senses of humor to interbreed with the people...sounds like a plan:
Noun איל ('ayil), "protruder," refers in the Bible to a ram, a pillar, a chief and, yet again, a terebinth. Noun איל ('ayyal) means stag or deer — hence the panting deer of Psalm 42 also describes an ignoramus longing for instruction — and its feminine counterpart אילה ('ayyala) means doe.
The verb יאל (ya'al) means to be foolish, gullible or even simply compliant and pleased to go along in no particularly negative way.
Coast of Edom="Male Products".
Unused verb אדם ('dm) may have meant to produce or begin to produce. Noun אדם (adam) is one of a few words for man but means literally probably "product" or likeness-made-from-soil; man as corporeal unit of humanity. This word is never used in plural, and its feminine equivalent, namely אדמה (adama), denotes arable soil or clay-red earth.
Hiram and his ships= "Noblemen" who sail the sea of chaos but know the way and survive. The ability to know the way, coast to coast, is a sign God and man both inhabit the same plane of existence.
We know Hiram, a foreigner, taught Solomon all he knew. This might have been the most important thing, called Ophir in Hebrew:
Ophir=
There are four different verbs אוה ('wh), which all appear to express a desire or movement toward something. Noun אי ('i) means coast, which has been mankind's preferred place to settle since time immemorial. Nouns או ('aw), מאוי (ma'away), אוה ('awwa) and תאוה (ta'awa) all mean desire.
The noun אות ('ot) means mark or sign, and humanity's earliest marks were not to assert private ownership but rather a collective identity: something to draw toward and gather around. Noun אי ('i) means jackal, and noun איה (ayya) means hawk or falcon. These creatures were possibly named after their supplicatory calls, or else their rapturous method of predation.
450 Talents of Gold= The gematria for 450 Talents is טאֶפֶס, which means tapas or meditation, concluding our hypothesis that Solomon was a Vashti Emperor like his mentor, Hiram, King of Tyre.
Tapas/meditation, which is mentioned above is called Ezion Geber. It is ineed where one finds the Gold, God Himself right where He is hidden on the Coast of Edom.
So Solomon becomes the Mark, the private owner of everything in the known ancient world by doing what was previously thought impossible: He did everything right.
And just this morning, I asked the Most High, "How do I do everything right?" And He said, "Greet the world with silence. I will do the rest."
What matters the most, for you and for I is how fastidious we want to be in finding God and employing Him to help us remain here in one another's good graces just as the ancients hoped we would.

Bjorn, a Hazbin Hotel OC (WIP)
Bjorn is my newest OC who has been growing on me since his inception. Originally, he was meant to be a brute, but my fascination with Vikings and Old Norse mythology led me to create him as one.
In life, Bjorn was the third son, middle child with two older brothers and two younger sisters, of a viking raider. When Bjorn was 13 he went on his first raid with his father and brothers where he killed for the first time and lost his virginity during the celebrations.
When Bjorn was 17, he married his first wife, Ingrid age 14, the youngest daughter of a Jarl and she bore him three children, two sons, Sven and Dustin, and a daughter, Sassa. She died shortly after giving birth to their daughter due to complications which were fatal in those times. His younger son, Dustin, was killed during battle with a rival vikings and Bjorn spent a year hunting down the killers
Bjorn began leading his own ship of raiders and raided the costs of France, Iceland, and as far as Greenland. By the time he was 37, he had overthrown a Jarl and claimed his throne as his own. By this time his brother, Ivan, had died during a hunting accident and Bjorn, honoring the arrange marriage between his family and the in-laws, took his brother's widow, Astrid, as his second wife.
However, the marriage only lasted days as it was discovered Astrid had been unfaithful to his brother, sleeping with a cousin and having his children instead of Ivan's. In his fury at the betrayal of his brother, he slew Astrid's beloved cousin and cast her and the children out of his home and land. This led to a bitter feud which Bjorn would win, but would lose his eldest son, Sven, in the battles.
Bjorn married off his daughter to an allied Jarl and named his grandson, Leif, as his heir.
At age 45, Bjorn was challenged to a battle of honor. He would win the duel, but it would cost him his life as a wound he received from the would become infected and fester. He died in bed, delirious and sick, not a death which would take him to Valhalla, but to Hell.
In Hell, Bjorn made his home in the Wrath Ring. He joined with a group of mercenaries and took on odd jobs for Hell Lords, sometimes leading raids on townships. Soon, he takes over as leader of the mercenaries and it grows into small army.
Bjorn allies with three other Overlord Sinners, Leo the Spartan, Rene the Duelist, and Akira the Wanderer. Together they form a massive legion of loyal imps, Hellborn, and Sinners and their alliance became known as the Warlords. For nearly 500 years, they ruled a quarter of the massive Wrath Ring until the King of Hell decreed that all Sinners must exodus to the Pride Ring where Pentagram City was being built.
Most of the Sinners rebelled, refusing to give up their strong holds, with Bjorn and his allies doing the same. For more than a century, they fought a long war against an Ars Goetia general, Beleth. Against over 80 legions, the Warlords were pushed back, forced to give up ground until they were under siege within a single fortress. The Warlords decided to make a final stand before surrendering.
During the final battle, Leo the Spartan, threw a spear across three miles and killed Beleth so their bitter enemy may never taste the victory over them.
The Warlords were taken to the Pride Ring in chains where they were released under King's Lucifer's forgiveness as they were only following their nature.
Bjorn took over the shipping yards where goods are traded between the Rings with oceans. Leo the Spartan set up security company. Rene the Duelist created a chain of restaurants. And Akira the Wanderer used his share of their plunder for investments and secluded himself in a garden house.
The Warlords became things of legend, but as the years went by, their names were forgotten . . .until the VVVs sparked their anger.

Ba’el + Fatherhood
[ For the Character + Word Ask meme found here ]
[[ For More information about Ba'el and the Royal Family, click here ]]
It is not difficult, realistically speaking, to sire a child. At best it is a moment of mutual pleasure, at worst, it's a dispassionate transaction between two parties.
The difficult part, of course, is what comes after the fruits of those labors are born.
Out of all the things that Ba'el thought to learn as a newly crowned King of Hell, how to be a Father was simply not high on the list, if it was ever on it at all--a footnote to a footnote, a half legible scribble tucked into the bottom edge of a page.
He hadn't thought much in the way of heirs, his own throne just barely won, the blood of the previous king still tacky on his claws, the sound of their death still resonating in his ears, but that hadn't meant his freshly inherited court didn't have designs for Ba'el's eventual, inevitable fatherhood.
He married quickly, decisively to his favorite general, and quickly produced a child. He saw little of the boy, (Vasago, Ba'el had named him) half out of true avoidance, and half out of the reality of governing an entire realm truly being a time sink. It didn't bother him overmuch-- his Queen Consort had always been capable, and.... Really, what would Ba'el have to offer them?
He would not be what his Mother, the late King, was to him. He would never disown, disavow, or dispute his own child's lineage the way his Mother had. But on the same token... Ba'el would never have half of the kindness of his Parent, who had raised him in bitter squalor, who had fed him on promises and hope and helpless affection.
At such an impasse, Ba'el found himself uncharacteristically at a loss for direction... And so, decided to table the concerns of Fatherhood for a bit longer, until he had more time to devote to thinking the matter over.
Time passes so quickly when one stops paying attention to it.
Ba'el marries again, and again, and thrice more after that. Alliances are power, and blood pacts are the price to pay for an iron grip on the throne. Children are born, and named, and sometimes they have his hair, or his eyes, and it probably makes him feel... something, truly, but...
Ipos is born not long after Vasago, an early, bloody thing. Ba'el does not suppose they will survive their first few years, and is nearly shocked that they do. (They are his child, did he not survive as well?)
But Ba'el is careful with his time and his affections-- it's dangerous to favor any of the children over another, and best for him not to grow overly attached, when he himself made manifest the current rights of succession. Most of them will die in combat, he reasons, so it is not imperative he spends too much time with any of them.
His third born, Beleth, seems so far to have the best chance at surviving to adulthood with minimal interference, and is thus the most promising heir. It's safest therefore to indulge a bit with him, instructing and teaching him, carefully, subtly maneuvering the right teachers into the right positions for his son to learn from.
The boy is even near by-- with his mother's position as second consort, and therefore Head of Staff, his second wife has no need to leave the Demon King's palace to attend to other duties, and therefore, has no need to ship their child off to a distant villa with some maternal family member to mind them away from the dangers of the royal court.
Ba'el wouldn't go out of his way to call it pleasant, but the proximity settles something unknown and restless in him.
A fourth child is born (Seere, who barely resembles Ba'el at all apart from the determined, resigned set of her brow), and then a fifth, and a sixth, and a seventh, and finally, an eighth.
Paymon, Ariton, Rosier, Amaymon.
Ba'el names all of them, looks into the faces of the lives he helped create, and dooms them in the selfsame breath.
#canonlucidia#fic ask meme#lanternes of light#anonymous#HOLY SHIT this one hit me like a truck#as Ba'el is of course my own OC this ficlet is entirely like... just my own bullshit#Ba'el is! An excerpt from the book; A History of the World After & Its Denizens by Noctua Quill
"(Pages from an untitled codex of illustrations recovered from the late Zagan Era, circa 4795, Epoch 341934.) The illuminated lettering around the edges of the pages reads as follows starting from left to right:
[left most vertical] The Patron Devil of Thieves
[top horizontal] Master of Ephemeral Arts
[right vertical] The Many-Tailed Thief
Opposing page
[right most verticle] "Materials For Summoning:
A Few Gold Coins
Three Bottles of Fine Wine
One Book of Stories
Nine Drops of [the Summoner's] Blood
[bottom left] BEWARE. IMPORTANT UNIQUE GLYPHS.
(These are unique glyphs used in the summoning of Lord Valefar. Each Goetic has their own set that must be included in the Summoning Circle otherwise they either may not appear or will appear but be not contained to the circle, which, in many cases, would be undesirable, let alone fatal, to the summoner. The meaning of some of these symbols have been long forgotten, being used only in these instances, but Valefar's, loosely translated, reads: "No Tricks, No Trade". Thereby binding the Patron Devil of Thieves and preventing him from conjuring any illusions or making attempts at résistance. Not mentioned here for unknown reasons, is that all Summoning Circles must be drawn in a radius of 2 or more meters. It should provide sufficient space for the Demon to remain comfortably seated.)
[right bottom] (Valefar's Summoning Circle. These must include the aforementioned glyphs as well as the Demon's Sigil. The blue markings invite the summoner to "place offering here". Thus, the objects mentioned in the above list of summoning materials will be placed in the designated spots. The tilt to the circle is important as mathematics have as much significance to the Goetia as words. These coordinates designate that Demon's unique position in the universe - essentially a tele-wire number. Misplacing the Circle can result in the absence of the Demon's manifestation.)
The small text is Ingris-Lorician and reads as follows:
"Duke Valefar retained his title of Third among Twenty-Three Dukes for as long as anyone can remember. Secretkeeper to Her Royal Highness, King Beleth of the Third Circle, he acted as a trusted advisor and loyal consort for many hundreds of years.
Before his death, Lord Valefar was renowned for his mastery of illusion and thievery, and was unmatched in his ability to shapeshift. His unique talents among the Goetia had him simultaneously respected and cautiously regarded despite his gregarious nature. He was otherwise a known trickster and miscreant, who relished in sowing chaos among the Court.
This Reputation extended to those outside of the Goetia, and well into the World Before, where those who wished to summon him would have done so expecting a blessing of charisma or good fortune in whatever devious exploits they intended. Otherwise, Lord Valefar was often called upon in matters of thievery, charlantry, or reconnaissance, and was, perhaps somewhat paradoxically, respected for his penchant for fairness in all dealings. However, it was the convalescence of these qualities that in turn ultimately led to his downfall.
Regarded as the catalyst for the event now know as the "Akashic Purge", Duke Valefar accomplished this by besting Fifth King Purson in a bet that he could steal his Horn within three days. Having done so, the pompous Duke decided to announce his success by blowing the instrument, which has the power to herald the End of Days. While he was stopped before the call could be completed, the damage had been done, and for his crime he was to be drawn and quartered. His Nine Tails, source of his power, were excised from him and distributed among the Eight remaining Kings by King Beleth Herself as a sign of solidarity against the events that were to come.
The whereabouts of Lord Valefar's Tails, and whether their Power was used at any point, remains unknown. For his disgrace, his name was to be stricken from the Infernal Court, his seat left vacant, albeit conditions resulting from the Purge have instead, made him something of a folkloric figure in the four hundred years following."
(Notice that the amount of time used to calculate Valefar's absence is expressed via the human calendar. While the author of the text is unknown, this gives an inherent clue as to their identity.)
What this text does not describe is King Beleth's enabling of Lord Valefar's antics, and it is of this Scholar's firm belief, that in doing so, she may have inadvertently coaxed these events into place. Not to speak ill of Her Diligence, but the King's soft spot for her Secretkeeper was plain for all to see, and was something she had been repeatedly cautioned against, as she had become somewhat over-reliant on his more distinct talents in order to compete with the egos of the other Kings. Her Majesty was as much the "Truthteller" as she was the "Truthkeeper". Her inability to lie coincided with her ability to detect lies in all things said and all gestures performed. Valefar's powers were futile to her discerning eye, but less so to others. She was wise for keeping him close, but in the opinion of this Scholar, foolish for being so lenient on him and allowing him to enjoy immunity for his crimes against others up until his own hubris cost her everything. In truth, it was remarkable that she was not subject to the same fate by the other Kings even with her gesture of sacrificing her consort's body in the hopes that they may aid in the mitigation of the coming disasters. One can only hope that the King's gift of foresight extended to anticipating the nature of her subject, and that her willful ignorance bore consequences she was willing to accept in order to indulge in his affection. Alas. Duke Valefar would have most likely become amused at the overall futility of his sacrifice. Irony being a favorite form of comedy. And his undying love for his King would doubtless hinder any compulsions of vengeance or violence, the Duke being as helpless to forgive those he loves as Her Majesty.
What might be seen as a source of vexation for many, Lord Valefar almost always interpreted as a challenge to enjoy, much to the dismay of those around him. However, even should his Soul find its way back from the World Before, he would surely find the reunification of his lost parts a daunting task. This assuming that there will even be a world to which he may return as the Purge continues onward, a fact which the mortal population seems to remain blissfully ignorant or, altogether, uncaring.

SCHOLOMANCE AND HIS STUDY OF THE ARS GOËTIA
don’t reblog it or i’ll eat ur firstborn.
what is scholomance? scholomance, or șolomanţă, was a school of dark magic said to lay dormant underneath the city of sibiu. originally a place for great scholars to learn the ways and teachings of king solomon, it was later said to have been a place where fallen angels taught the dark goetia to their students, and where the 10th scholar chosen in their lots was doomed to be taken as the devil’s due.
The Drac.ulas were, says Arminius, a great and noble race, though now and again were scions who were held by their coevals to have had dealings with the Evil One. They learned his secrets in the Scholomance, amongst the mountains over Lake Hermanstadt, where the devil claims the tenth scholar as his due. - Bram Stoker, Dracu.la.
We already know from the novel that Vladislav studied in the ancient school, and that it was attributed to him already to have been having dealings with the ‘evil one’ throughout his entire family. This is especially interesting given that the word dracul, while has a dual-meaning to translate to devil, holds also the same meaning as the word ‘dragon’, and that scholomance was said to have been originally named the school of the dragon.
the graduates of this school would learn many fabled dark magicks while enrolled. this included animal speech, magic spells, transfiguration, dragon-riding and the control of storms and weather. for seven years they would remain underground and immerse themselves in this study, learning the language of all living things, enochian, the secrets of nature and how to make it bend to ones will.
so how does the ars goetia tie in? well, the term 'goetia' literally translates to the practice of conjuring evil spirits. it includes dark spells that would include charms, sorcery, wizardry. they learned the ancient ways of the dactyli and all other forms of theurgy to become as powerful rulers of nature. Agrippa wrote in his own research that detailed the books of occult philosophy that ceremonial magic could be illustrated through goetia and theurgia, or magia; otherwise defining a strict line between evil magic and good magic. goetia would be considered the wicked kind of magic that goes against the laws of nature, and is often invoked through a tie to a supernatural entity; thus, making the caster more of a warlock than a scholar or wizard.
the evil spirits, considered 'demons' by modern western standards, are commanded entirely by four kings that correspond to the cardinal directions. These kings are called Amaymon, Corson, Ziminiar and Gaap. Alternatively known in abrahmic religion by the names of Samael, Azazel, Paymon and Maimon.
THE CIRRICULUM
the arys theurgia teaches the students the seals and order of each of the spirits and their sigils, what they lord over in the underworld and their traits and aspirations. they learn the temperament of each creature and their perfered gifts during summoning. They learn the compass point of each demon and the inter-cardinal points and how to draw upon them, as well as the names of each prince, count, duke and queen. This book shows how he bound spirits, and used them to obtain his fame, and to act as protection, and how solomon’s students may do this too.
a few of these are known as bael, agares, vassago, valefore, amon, barbatos, sitri, beleth, eligos, zepar and more. upon graduating, vladislav succeeded in summoning the goodly knight known as eligos, who is later mentioned as one of his guardians in the castleva.nia series. however, in-line with this series, other demons that have been seduced and/or summoned by the count are as follows: malphas, balor, zephyr, saint legion, beelzebub, leviathan, & abbadon.
the ars paulina is the third book, and it teaches the apostles the magical calendar, the astrological seals and the meaning of the stars and planets on an astronomical scale and the archidoxes of magic. the ability to communicate with divine or heavenly powers is often described in this book as being delivered to the solomonar by the apostle, paul, further cementing it as a teaching of solomon himself rather than the devil. i think this is especially important to point out that here, the goetia includes the invocation of angels too.
they spent another year and a half on this subject alone, and begin to memorize the angels and 360 spirits in the zodiac.this is called the monomoiria, which correspond with hellenistic astrology.
in order to summon these creatures, one would need to learn to create a wax tablet and memorize the designs of each sigil that corresponded to the 72 spirits, which would be taught in a book known as the Ars Almadel. Two full years was spent on this subject alone, before moving on to the Ars Notoria, which would teach the series of prayers that would grant the magician the powers of a polymath and polyglot, as well as an eidetic memory so that one could learn and memorize every spell taught in the Ars Paulina.
Courses on the lesser key would include classes and necessary research on The Sight; or the ability to see supernatural phenomena; this is also referenced in the Novel, as Drac.ula is surprised that Jonathan can see the blue flame that appears on St. Georges' day. This is because the 'evil spirits' of the Goetia are but physical representations of portions of the human brain and its many representations and stimulants; such as taste, touch, and smell. The point of the teachings of Scholomance are to become extremely aware of your own reflection, and on the significance of your awareness.
Students learn the invocations, the sacraments, the impressions of their sub-consciousness, and all known abnormal states of the body. Phenomena or miracles are considered part of life, and ceremonial magia or goetia the way for physiological experiments to be conducted without a fear of the end result. they too are taught the important symbolism and reverence of the ideology of baphomet and abraxas the archon.
“Agrippa told us that "Magic is the highest, most absolute and most divine knowledge of natural philosophy, advanced in its works and wonderful operations by a right understanding of the inward and occult virtue of things; so that true agents being applied to proper patients, strange and admirable effects will thereby be produced. whence magicians are profound and dilligent searchers into nature; they, because of their skill, know to anticipate an effort, the which to the vulgar shall seem to be a miracle.“
it is important to my portrayal to remember that the count was the 10th scholar, and that that fact sealed his fate to eventually fall, no matter what great things he had been destined to do with his powers prior. this is fitting considering that his initial descent beneath the city of sibiu, into this academy, was done out of spite and out of need for revenge to the order that had previously used him, also named the order of the dragon. the irony rests in that his fate seems to be one great circle, all leading him back to and from these teachings as a sort of curse. so it is only fitting that his immortal life, though achieved, by lived in a curse far worse than death, in his own personal hell.

Something not Walker related, for once. Do you know where the "burns those without manners" bit in Berith's description comes from? I'm either extremely bad at looking or couldn't find this in the Goetia, which is weird since most demons that come from there have pretty faithful descriptions. Plus, his JAP description (from P4G) calls him a "king of dread" (恐怖の王), but according to the Goetia (and the ENG description) he's a duke. Some weird accident with king Beleth/Bileth/Bilet/Byleth perhaps?
I looked for this today but couldn’t find anything definitive in the usual sources (the Mathers/Crowley Goetia, modern Lesser Key, Pseudomonarchia, reference books, even the World Yokai book!). “King of dread” seems more a description than title.
But I think a mix-up with Beleth is the reason for “burns those without manners.” Both demons require wearing a silver ring during their conjurations but there’s no description of what happens if you don’t; presumably is has more to do with them not cooperating than a gruesome punishment. However, there’s also a third demon that requires a ring: Astaroth, who will fell you with his “noisome”/noxious breath if not prepared. Maybe there’s a connection assumed because of the rings plus a little conflagration added for fun. That’s the best I can guess.

I love your twin AU. But how about a triplet AU? Three siblings teaching each house in their own unique way and personalities. Like DuckTales 2017. Also the third Byleth is Non-binary. Told this to starryeyedmerchant I believed since they made an art for a twin AU. And the tags mentioned Non-binary option.
Aw thank you for your kind words anon! I love Ducktales 2017, so Beleth=Huey, Beresu=Dewey and the non-binary triplet Bilet=Louie!
Beresu is the oldest, Beleth is the middle child and Bilet is the youngest!
Bilet is the laid-back of the triplets; shit may get real but they’re all ‘eh... we can handle this...’.
A lot of times Beresu and Bilet get together to annoy Beleth because he’s super serious and needs to relax.
If anyone is demanding the gender or sex of Bilet then Beleth and Beresu activate Older Siblings Mode to protect Bilet.
(Really Bilet can handle it themself but they’re lazy so it helps if their older siblings help).
When they become professors Beleth=Black Eagles, Beresu=Blue Lions and Bilet=Golden Deer.
Bilet, Linhardt and Hilda form the ‘Lazy Trio’. The Byleths are disappointed with their youngest sibling.
Bilet sometimes drops valuable life lessons to their students and others and everyone is all “!? They have great wisdom...!?”
“Whilst they may be lazy and carefree Bilet is extremely intelligent.”-Beleth. “Yeah, so don’t underestimate them because they could kill you in your sleep ;D!”-Beresu.
Beleth loves serious lessons with the Eagles; Beresu loves engaging her Lions in fun activities, and Bileth loves having their students do all the work.
Sometimes Bilet just drops some morally questionable things.
“Capture the enemy’s family and torture them until you break the enemy’s psych.”-Bilet, teaching the Golden Deer. “What in the Goddess’ name are you-!?”-Rhea, watching Bilet teaching.
Is Beresu upset about something, even the silliest of things? Beleth and Bilet prioritise cheering her up.
Bilet is not interested in romance, so when they see their siblings crushing on someone they’re all ‘oh Goddess here we go...’.
“Hey Bilet, is it wrong that I think Archbishop Rhea is super attractive?”-Beresu. “...She’s an Archbishop! She has a lot of power so try and get her to fall for you!”-Bilet.
Bilet does love money so they and Anna become capitalist buds.
Beleth is always weary that Bilet may try to manipulate the schooling system to eat too much free food or get the best weapons.
(It doesn’t help when Beresu is also manipulating the system).
“Hey Edelgard-if you become a tyrannical emperor please remember to spare me :).”-Bilet, dropping this conversation out of nowhere. “Wait, what-!?”-Edelgard.
“Hey Beresu-since you’re friends with the prince make sure that he gives us a lot of money once he becomes king :D!”-Bilet. “...No! I won’t sink that low! Although maybe...”-Beresu.
Only Bilet can keep up with Beresu’s sarcasm and Beleth’s dry humour.
Sometimes the students are terrified that Bilet is going to commit arson and only Beleth and Beresu know whether they’re joking or not.
Is Beresu being an embarrassing mum teacher? Everyone goes to Beleth (Bilet is too... morally questionable...).
Beresu and Bilet get super competitive when their Houses face off in mock battles. Beleth couldn’t care less.
Those two will sometimes black mail Beleth to help them out if the middle child refuses to help them.
All three love their dad so much. He always brings a smile to their faces.
They all visit their mother’s grave to lay flowers and say some things. That is the only time one see Beleth crying. Beresu and Bilet comfort him.

Magi- The Labrythine of magic
Cannon Insert
Name: Chloris
Age Prior to Canon: 13
Age at Canon: 25
At a young age, Chloris was sold into slavery by her mother and father with her three sisters. The couple not wealthy enough to support five children sold their daughters for profit. All three girls were separated and have never been reunited.
Chloris being the prettiest of her sisters, was sold into sexual slavery, bought by a wealthy merchant from Partveia, she served him from the ages of 10-13. Like many men of his time, this merchant was conscripted into the Partvenen army. It was his wealthy that bought him a position. Not unintelligent, Hinhel ( Her owner ) avoids all combat and required duties by sending slaves in his place or buying his way out of combat. This works until Chloris is 13 and Sinbad has conquered the dungeon.
With the second and third dungeon not on the continent, The partvien empire drives everyone into the 13th Dungeon- Beleth. The 13th dungeon is along the Partvien/Sasan border. With both countries trying the claim the dungeon, its a race against time.
Chloris brought along with her master and all his slaves enter. It is here where Chloris stages a revolt. Kill Hinhel and claiming the dungeon for herself and the wealth for the slaves. With Partviea devolving and Sasan retreating back to their own borders, Chloris claims the land around the dungeon.
Beleth the 13th dijnn and the djinn of Mathematics and Music
Invocation: Great Spirit of Mathematics and Music, I call you forth, use my body as your avatar and spread your wisdom in the mortal world!
( Chloris is later able to just call his name and either fully equip or just summon forth her weapon.)
Beleth is depicted as a cat/human hybrid. ( according to Wikipedia )
So Beleth in magi is a male dijnn with a blue cat head and a male body torse, human hands with curved cats claws. He like the other dijnn have no legs. He wears a gold belt to hold his horn, and he wears a gold pendant around his neck with his symbol emblazed around it.
Chloris dijnn equip is up to you bc Idk how to come up with it0
Chloris’s Weapon is a trumpet. This trumpet is capable of using the elements and also summoning the great beasts of the 13th dungeon. Chloris is also capable of playing different types of music through it. Like songs that put people to sleep or give them commands. It also when not used in battle is said to be the most beautiful song known to man.
Once she conquered Beleth Chloris gained mastery over every instrument.
Beleth’s dungeon was located near the border of Sasan, in an area known as the great white expanse. Beleth’s dungeon also was entirely white. Chloris claimed this land ( From the white-sanded beaches to the fields of white trees and even the white cascade mountains, I claim this land, and name it Leftkigi ( lefkí-gi ).
( lefkí-gi ) is modeled after modern-day and ancient Greece. Appearance-wise, all buildings are white with blue roofs, although they are all circular in design. All the roads are white as well. Flowers are everywhere. In window-sills, along the streets and anywhere they can be. There are public bathhouses and washrooms. Women and men both can vote and buy and sell the property. And absolutely there is no slavery.
( lefkí-gi ) is focused on building itself up and not losing any land, so they farm for themselves and do a very little amount of trading. Because they are so new, national service is required, everyone starting at 16 must serve 4 years in the army. They may not fight but they serve building armor and weapons or building forts or other building needed. They also could maintain infrstucre or be sent to learn to read and write immediately.
By the time everyone is 20, they know how to read and write.
Because her dijnn is one of math. ( lefkí-gi ) becomes the center of learning and development. Geometry and Physics. Philosophy and morals are also born here, as per the greek inspiration.
There are many colleges of science developed as well as guilds and trade schools.
And though Chloris is the Queen, the people select who they think should be her successor. Three are put up by the population, and the one who proves there mantel to both her and Bethel they become “ holder of the throne” apparent. Because either a male or female can be put up for the throne, Chloris and her advisors create a new word. Meaning, “holder of the throne” ( Zadrivi - my selection ), the next in line would be called this word then Epómeno. ( Lots of greek words get added into their language, even though the world has a common tongue, each country def has words that are unique to it. )
Once the Epómeno is chosen they must sign the book of the law. Which has all the laws of lefkí-gi written down. Laws such as slavery being forbidden the Epómeno candidates being chosen by the public and to treat the land with respect, to never sell out to the enemies of the land and to always protect the people's interests. Once the Epómeno signs their name on the book, they are magically bound to it. Every and any elected official is forced to sign the book. The Epómeno is the only one to do so in a grand ceremony.
The current leader ( Chloris) has the Epómeno knell in front of the population and say “ I do” to every law ( the important ones ) before the populous before signing. After this, there is a grand feast and celebration. The Epómeno becomes the leader after the passing or abdication of the monarch before them.
Chloris ( the ancient Greek word for flora ) is a notable beauty, while she was never particularly intelligent she was strong of body and will. When she was 13 she impaled her master, and claim the 13th dungeon for herself. Then lead the slaves into building a new country, once she became Beleths king, she gained an understanding of math, this helps her build and teach her new kingdom.
Chloris is very singular, in her involvement with other nations, she takes no deal that is less than equal.
Chloris honor guard is her household members, to the public, they all have flower names.
Facts about Chloris
