"You're getting pretty good," Maki observes. She doesn't hand out compliments lightly, so even a 'pretty good' from her is actually high praise. The first years are a strange group, but she supposes that her year of classmates would also be considered strange to someone looking at them. But she can't help but respect Nobara's determination.

ch 17 and the misconception some people have about it...
so we are at ch 250 ish in jjk, and many things had happened. Like, MANY. But I still see people with the 'Megumi was about to summon Makora against Todo' argument, and whether or not its a joke - its getting tired as hell.
So, I'm gonna throw this essay into the void that is the internet coz I wanna rant about it >:(
(•̀⤙•́)
In this chapter, two students from the Kyoto branch were briefly introduced. The third year Aoi Todo, and the second year Zenin Mai.
These two went to the Tokyo branch a little earlier than the intended schedule for the goodwill event because they wanted to check out (bully) the first years, since these kids (Megumi and Nobara) will replace the third years for the event this time around.
Todo wanted his last goodwill event to be memorable, so he wanted all the best fighters to be around. But since two of the third years ran away to establish their own fight club while Yuta went on an adventure somewhere in Africa, Todo’s dream of a memorable goodwill might be a little blurry. So he had to go and assess (bully) the first years, so he may know what to expect.
Todo’s intention was clear from the start - he was only there to test whether the Tokyo branch first years are worthy enough to fight. So he asked Megumi his type of woman.
Honestly, if he was there to assess the first years, I think he should've asked Nobara her type as well but he just treated her like she was invisible the entire time. (¬_¬")
Anyway, Megumi gave him an answer and Todo didn't really like it.
But why?
If we go by what Todo states as his reason, the only one that was clear was that he thinks that Megumi’s answer was boring. Which is fair, people find different things boring - we all have our own preferences and stuff. I personally think that Megumi’s answer was good. Not just good, actually - his answer was the best I heard when it comes to such questions. But what exactly was it that made Megumi’s answer ‘boring’ in Todo Aoi's eyes?
I think the answer is that megumi’s answer was too good, actually.
The problem with Megumi, in Todo’s eyes at least, is that he thinks TOO MUCH. There are too many thoughts in this kid’s head, too much brain cells interacting with each other in there - that Todo finds boring. Now, I'm not saying that Todo is a dumbass - between Tokyo and Kyoto he and Megumi are the only one who managed to have a perfect 10 when it comes to classroom learning.
His ‘style’ of intellect is probably just completely different from Megumi’s. If Megumi answered with a surface level attraction - for example; he 'likes big butts and he cannot lie' - immediately after Todo asked him, Todo wouldn't have found it boring (he would still attack, of course). But because Megumi thought about a proper answer honestly and seriously, for way too long, Todo got offended. He likes brainless and quick answers better.
The moment Megumi hesitated to answer, he was already 'boring' in Todo's eyes.
When Todo asks someone this question, he's not only gauging their personality - he's also assessing their fighting style based on what and how they answer.
And Todo's preferred combat style is no brain, head empty, just punch punch kick - just what you’ll expect from the very same man who showed Yuji how to do a black flash. A state of being that’s the very embodiment of brainless concentration resulting in drooling and a punch stronger than your strongest punch. Given how Todo's CT works, he does strategize and think about his next moves - but not to the extent that Megumi does. Todo strategizes while he fights, Megumi strategizes and then fights. I'm not saying they fight exclusively like this! Its just the gist of their differing fighting style.
I'm just trying to get to something and putting all these in mind is important to get to it.
From the moment that Todo showed a sign of wanting a fight, Megumi’s thoughts were how he could avoid conflict and diffuse the situation. He never viewed todo as someone he had to defeat, but a problem he had to solve. Which is an insult for this guy Todo, who came into their school looking for a fight.
Even when Todo landed that first punch on Megumi, making him fly across the hallway, his thoughts were still about how to diffuse the situation - because his plan was to keep his distance from Todo. Todo was a problem, not a real enemy. Up to the point when Todo used his body to bulldoze through a building, Megumi's plan was the same. Nullify, not fight. Diffuse, not escalate.
It only changed when Todo asked him if he was even trying. Which irked Megumi, because he was trying. Trying to diffuse the situation, that is. And not fight. Which can be deduced in his choice of shikigami, he chose the defense type and not the offense ones - like his dog and the owl. Granted, the frogs had Nue's flight ability - but it's clear that Megumi only chose to summon it primarily to try and incapacitate Todo. Not fight him.
Which leads us to the actual point of this whole essay
Some people had been clowning him left right and center for 'trying' to summon Makora against Todo, which would actually be funny - if it was true. I mean, imagine summoning your untamed murderous pet against a high school bully, at the risk of killing yourself too btw.
Hilarious, right? (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
But, uh, Megumi didn't do that.
What happened was Megumi actually ‘wanting’ to fight Todo, not just deescalate the situation, and Todo felt that change.
Ever since Todo started that fight, Megumi never thought about fighting him - and Todo knows that, that's why he thinks Megumi is boring. Because he ‘thinks’.
They are in the school, among classmates and colleagues, unarmed and unprepared - there are literally so many things to consider before Megumi could even fully commit to a fight that he never asked to be a part of. There are absolutely zero reasons (in Megumi’s head) why he had to fight an upperclassman from a sister school out of nowhere. That was why in that 5 seconds fight that they had, we only ever see Megumi on the defense.
So when megumi decided not to think and just go with it, Todo felt that change in him. It wasn't general Makora that Todo felt, because Megumi had to do a hand sign and a chant in order for that shikigami’s presence to be felt - as can be seen when he first did that thing at the juvenile detention center. Sukuna only felt a strong shikigami when Megumi started chanting.
When Yuji first ate a finger and Megumi did the hand sign, Sukuna didn't react to it because Megumi didn't do the chant.
This is the only page that showed Megumi about to fight Todo seriously, and there is no hand sign in sight.
So, how in the world would Todo feel the general’s presence when Megumi did not do a hand sign and a chant? Do people think that Todo's spidey senses are stronger than Sukuna - that all it took for Todo to feel its presence was for Megumi to think about it? That's… huh.
With all that said, no, Megumi was not gonna summon Makora against Todo (an ally) just because of a school fight. He was just gonna do what Todo had been urging him to do - and that is to fight for real. Megumi fighting for real does not mean Makora is about to jump out of the shadow because he never used Makora to fight - Makora has always been a last resort. When shit truly hit the fan. All those instances against Sukuna, Hanami, the whole Shibuya fiasco and Sukuna about to possess him - were all Makora level threats because Gojo was not around.
I have so many rants left in me so next I'm gonna rant about how every time Megumi considered summoning Makora it is justified (ง'̀-'́)ง

Gojo Satoru and Iori Utahime/ contrast
This is not particularly a ship post, I don’t mind the ship either. (I just want to analyze them outside of romance). It's just that I was rereading Jujutsu Kaisen manga and had some drafts of characters that struck out to me, Utahime being one of them, Goodwill event reread made me appreciate so many characters even more, because this is the arc where all students and their stories are fleshed out. These characters really develop from what we have seen till now in the manga.
Utahime stood out me as a character the moment she was introduced during the first read itself (and nah, it was not her scar), this time around I decided to investigate her character more, if it was any other series I probably wouldn’t have, but it’s Gege Akutami, his minor characters are written beautifully with unique roles.
As I mentioned before, she stood out, because we literally didn’t know any other teacher except Gojo in the story, the first teacher to be introduced in the story after Gojo was her.
From her reactions to Gojo clearly showed she was not his fan. That was like pretty standard reaction to Gojo in vicinity, pretty much what we saw from other characters initial intro as well, Megumi finds him idiotic, Nanami doesn’t respect him, Gakuganji hates him, Shoko is apathetic, Ichiji is scared of him and called him lazy (Gege really made sure to tell the readers how annoying Gojo is lol). But since she was a fellow teacher, I wanted to know whether she aligns with Gojo or the likes of Gakuganji, is she with the Higher ups or much like Shoko, doesn’t care about politics all together. Her shrine maiden outfit was interesting as well (it’s like Kikyo/Kagome from Inuyasha), that was also interesting to say the least.
Utahime, from her posture and speech patterns appears to be a very elegant woman. Her worry regarding Miwa, prioritizing safety of the students, being genuinely happy that they are safe, gave us the conclusion that she is a very responsible and good teacher to her students.
Her alignment with Gojo was quickly answered as well since Gojo trusted her enough with a very important task and information. Gankuganji didn’t include her when he gave the task to Kyoto students to kill Itadori, I believe it was because either she wouldn’t agree to it, or convince her students not to follow him.
Her interactions with Gojo also stood out, since there are many characters who don’t respect Gojo but trust him, she is one of them. However, no one really went “out of the way” like her and threw a cup of tea at him. Nanami thinks work is shit in general, he has same kind of distaste for Gojo that he had for his boss, Shoko doesn’t overtly react to anything, Ijichi in general has low self-esteem. All these characters don’t break out of their usual character patterns while interacting with Gojo. Whereas Utahime, who is more like a responsible teacher and calm headed individual, breaks from her usual character with Gojo. Her dislike of Gojo is very genuine. I think that for a no-nonsense individual person like Utahime, she does not appreciate Gojo’s personality and mightier than thou behaviour. Utahime wants respect as fellow sorcerer and senior, she does not behave insecure, she doesn’t even hide her scar with mask or makeup shows how unbothered she is about it, I like that about her.
From what we know about the past Arc of Gojo, Utahime is the only confirmed senior of Gojo, Getou, and Shoko. Mei Mei is most likely older than Utahime (mei calls Utahime by her given name, but uta addresses her as ‘Mei-san’, I think she is at least 3-4 years or even more older than Utahime, personally). Kasukabe was not even mentioned in that arc so he is ruled out as well. Utahime has probably studied in the same school as them, and that’s why she is pretty close with Shoko. I think it's also the reason Gojo trusts her so much, since he has known her from the days of his youth.
Gojo however doesn’t trust Mei Mei, its was quite clear in goodwill arc, but for some reason he does acknowledge Mei, and calls her with honorific ‘mei-san’. Mei is a woman who grooms her brother and uses him as part of her technique, she is apparently more respected by Gojo than a genuinely good human like Utahime. Thats probably because Gojo puts strength on pedestal. Mei was ready to do anything to become strong (so that she can earn more money lol), I think Gojo respects that, whereas I don’t think Utahime prioritises strength over the connections she has, which can be considered, at least in Gojo’s eyes (cause he cant really relate to normal human experience), as weak which stuns her individual growth as sorcerer. Utahime isn't selfish or someone with ego, she is one of the very few adults we have seen that actually care about students on personal level.
From her limited manga panels and Databook information, we can make out a few things.
• She IS smart and doesn’t believe in what is told to her outright. When Gojo pointed out about the possibility of mole, she didn't believe him immediately, rather when the attack in the event happened it was then she acknowledged Gojo’s theory to hold weight. She doesn’t react without enough information, as shown from the past arc with her mission with Mei Mei. I would conclude that her specialty is her level-headed thinking.
• She genuinely cares about the well-being of people around her on a more personal human level, as shown with her she interacts with her students and how she wants Shoko to quit smoking. Unlike many jujutsu sorcerers, she is not selfish or possess ego. Her kindness is also returned as every single one of her students loves her.
Weak Utahime?
I personally dont even think her it's relevant to her characterization, but maybe that's just me. I think her character shines when it's contrasted with Gojo's, but fighting or not fighting doesn't matter much to me, being stronger doesn't make you good character. But a simple answer to her being weak would be no. From this statement of Gege alone.
If she had no offence at all, she would probably be grade-less like Shoko/Ijichi. Well, she is not. That means she fights. She has quick reflexes from what we have seen with her encounter with the dude with luck CT. Also, she was quick enough to react during the attack from Kenjaku.
She is working in Kyoto, the capital of the jujutsu world, and she is directly under the noses of higher-ups. The fact that she is a head teacher in Kyoto is itself commendation because it’s not a position just anyone not worthy enough would have been appointed to. Higherups love traditional techniques, as mentioned by Panda during encounter with Haraki and Kirara.
I believe Utahime’s technique is one that higher-ups would love. They would not put someone with less knowledge or capability as in charge at all. She is not just a mere high school teacher. Her position is the same as Gojo, but in Kyoto, she supervises sorcerers.
Her not being grade one is irrelevant to me as well, many sorcerers in jjk don't seem like their grades plus their is a lot of politics surrounding grade system itself, so those rankings are probably not even correct markers of strength or strength areas. She has survived till date is impressive enough, haibara died early (both him and nanami were unable to deal with a grade 1 curse back in the day, that’s how fast sorcerers die) She is a full fledge sorcerer. She takes missions as well if we go by this panel from 0.5.
Gojo and Utahime contrast.
• Gojo’s relationship with his students is well, decent. He goes out of his way to teach and save strong ones (I can’t imagine him being a good teacher to, say, Momo or Miwa). He also literally sent Inumaki and Panda to get their asses completely destroyed by Geto cause he knew it would piss off Yuta and give him his powerup, not so great move for a teacher. He recognises their struggles but at the same time doesn’t seem to understand them. Save Yuuji and Yuuta, no one really respects him. Whereas Utahime’s students adore and protect her, they solve their problems together. They genuinely want the system to change and let their intent know about this during all the vs battels in Goodwill arc. Kyoto kids were really trying Tokyo kids to understand the problems in the system, but all of their common remarks were ‘I don’t care’.
(Gojo is a nuanced character, he ain't this perfect human people make him out to be, while he does care about people around him, he does NOT understand them well, this comes from the solitude he lives in. While he does not want to be alone, he also doesn't understand anyone who is not as strong as him, which furthers the gap between him and others, his entire character is quite tragic honestly.)
• Utahime’s CURSED TECHNIQUE was a delight. It can boost anyone within a zone, including herself. How it contrasts with Gojo, you might ask. Gojo is the strongest when he fights alone. Everyone else just drags him down, it is spelt out to us multiple times in the story. Whereas Utahime can help even someone like Ichiji cast a powerful barrier, at the same time give Gojo a great boost. Gojo’s technique literally separates him from the world, but Utahime brings them within her zone.
(Utahime technique was brilliant! Its honestly like literal manifestation of how she is as a human herself. She values connections, and her technique is probably THE best support technique in jjk. It makes others strong, including the caster. She is dragging no one down, and no one is left behind. Its almost like people feel weaker with Gojo around, and they get stronger with Utahime around, lmao.)
• This brings another contrast, individual/isolation and collective/connection. Utahime asks her students to get along, they even fight together, have each other’s back, and are even emotionally more connected to each other. While Gojo tells Megumi that everyone dies alone, and jujutsu is an individual sport, he is teaching his students to value individual strengths more.
(Needless to say that both things are quite important, but Gojo’s conversation with Megumi was quite interesting because, ironically, Gojo died because of the very same reason, he fought sukuna all alone, not that anyone could have helped him without dragging him. Also funny cause the reason students and others were able to defeat sukuna was because they worked together. Yuji came out of that cog mentality, where he was trying to discard his humanity to become a curse killing machine, to become more human/more himself once again, and flipped the game which was being played on sukuna's rules, where superior ego/strength wins, and made it about humanity, where yuji saved megumi and defeated Sukuna, love yuji my boy.)
• Their CONNECTIONS with other people are also something to look at. Gojo’s character central theme is his isolation/solitude. Many ppl say how he was used and never saw as humam in the story, well its not incorrect, but it's not completely accurate either. Most of the people he trusts didn't see him that way, including his students, they might not be as close to him or even might not respect him, but they always saw him as human, their whole frustration was that he HIMSELF didn't see as one, he behaved mightier than thou, thats why canonically Utahime and Nanami really dislike his company. He is the cause of his own solitude, shoko literally says, "What do you mean alone? I was there," shows us that much. He draws that line by himself. In chapter 236, he even acknowledges that, despite loving people around him, he didn’t understand them, and wasn't understood by them. He saw others as "different" than him, him and geto were "strong" according to him, means they were like "same" species, to him others were different species, he can love them and be loved by them, but there is no deep understanding. There was a reason he longed for a bond like once he had with geto, where they were equally strong. That's why he tries to reach out to sukuna, he projected his own isolation on sukuna, while sukuna doesn’t feel that way, sukuna has entirely accepted his solitude, he has completely discarded his humanity, he just wants to be the pinnacle. Gojo isn't much different from sukuna, he is quite self-centered and egoistic himself, it's just that, if Sukuna is "perfected ego" then Gojo’s ego is not perfect, he didn’t entirely disregard his humanity, he did crave connections, that's why in that battle, sukuna won. In a battle of strength and ego, a perfected ego always wins.
I can say for sure Shoko is canonically closer to Utahime than Gojo. She got so worried Utahime didn’t call for two days, Utahime sends her parcels to Shoko, she stopped smoking cause Utahime insisted. Utahime probably bonds with her on a more personal and human level. Unlike gojo, Utahime is very very human, she doesn’t possess that kind of ego, Shoko and Utahime’s friendship last more than a decade but Gojo couldn't even keep that one bond (Geto) he created with someone else, because what initially brought Gojo and Geto together was strength, but what keeps Uta and Sho together is human connection. Utahime is genuinely more loved and is closer to people. Gojo is well, he is alone and on top above everyone else.
(Again, not to say Gojo and Shoko are not close at all, Shoko is also one of the people Gojo trusts, but she is definitely much more closer to Utahime.)
Utahime is everything Gojo is not and vice-versa. Gojo can do a lot of things others can, but if there is one thing that he absolutely can’t do, is what Utahime can (making others stronger).
The problem with these two is that, even though they have aligned goals, shared values, same path, and a lot of trust in each other. They DON'T really respect each other's way of life. Utahime can't respect Gojo’s self-centered behavior that he seems unaware about (lol) and the way he is unable to understand others more personally by deluding himself in his head that strength is needed to form connections, neither can Gojo respect Utahime who doesn’t seem to care much about strength in first place.
On paper/in theory, their team is great if they work together. They complement each other, but Gojo is still stuck in his own head about his isolation. Granted, Utahime can not provide him the satisfaction of equal fight and equal strength, but why does she need to? Her beauty is that she isn't like Gojo. She values bonds, she knew her students so well that she was able to find out about mole through the process of elimination. Watching Gojo and Utahime working together was a delight. The 200% hollow purple technique was amazing.
The problem with Gojo is that all his relations will end up in tragedy, because his entire character is tragic itself. He couldn't even maintain one bond he formed in his life and also couldn't even be the absolute strongest and pinnacle. He couldn't even discard his humanity entirely to become like Sukuna, but he couldn't even fully accept it to become weaker and more humane, he wanted to die fighting someone stronger, he loved his powers and strength. So he did end up tragic, but as he himself said, he was satisfied with it, so who am I to take that away from him.
I am pretty sure Utahime will live in the end or at least I want her to live, but it's Gege's story (a beautiful one as well) so it's his wish. I do wish some more interactions with her and students.
Peace out ✌️
Again, be respectful people. I am a jjk fan, and I sometimes like to write analysis. I like to stay far, far away from discourse, so please don't do that here.
#jjk meta#gojo satoru#satoru gojo#iori utahime#utahime iori#jujutsu kaisen#jjk#i will probably write something about other characters as well but it takes me time#i get so sleepy and start procrastinating when i write something 😩#i am hella excited about the recent chapters in the manga too#cant wait for the next chapter#jjk manga spoilers#jjk spoilers

//platonic itafushikugi. set after the kyoto goodwill school event//
ii. the one about yuuji | iii. the one about megumi
It didn’t come as a surprise to Nobara to see Megumi sitting in the hall outside Yuuji’s door.
The first time she did she had asked what he was doing. Megumi just shrugged and said he couldn’t sleep. Nobara shrugged back and returned to her room. In the morning, she found him still outside of Yuuji’s door staring blankly at it, and knew that he didn’t sleep a wink. That night she joined him out in the hall. When Megumi asked what she was doing, Nobara just shrugged and said she couldn’t sleep.
This is the fifth night.
They don’t do anything. They don’t talk. Nobara doesn’t ask and Megumi doesn’t tell. Not about what happened, not why they can’t sleep, and not about why they’re doing this instead of trying to get some sleep. The classes go on after all and the missions still keep on coming and they still have to train for the Kyoto Goodwill Event on top of it all. Staying up and sitting on the cold floors of the dorm halls all night instead of resting in their beds is a surefire way to get themselves killed on missions, or during training with Maki-senpai, when they’re too exhausted to function.
Sure, it’s unhealthy both in the physical and psychological sense, but, well. What are they supposed to do? Actually talk about what happened and their feelings? Yeah, right. Nobara and Megumi would sooner face another special-grade curse.
Thus, the routine continues.
Except this time, Megumi finally cracks.
“He reached into Yuuji’s chest and pulled out his heart like it was nothing.” His voice is barely above a whisper but it rings loud in the silence of the night and the empty corridors save for the two of them. “Itadori’s heart was still beating when he threw it on the ground.”
Nobara has always had a very vivid imagination and the image Megumi just painted materializes in his mind’s eye in full color. She sits with the scene playing in her head and says nothing.
“I could see through the hole in his chest. Blood gushed out of it like a fucking waterfall.”
Megumi’s tone is flat and that somehow makes this retelling all the worse than if he was hysterical, but Nobara supposes he’s passed that stage and has now gone numb. Her room is parallel to the boys’ all the way on the other side of the common room, but she sometimes heard him shout in the middle of the night. Nightmares about the whole thing probably.
“Sukuna…he—he did that so he could gain control of the body but Itadori—he—” he swallows with great difficulty and the sound of it feels like it echoes around them with how silent everything is. Nobara has half a mind to tell him to stop, but the twisted side of her wants to hear that stupid Itadori didn’t go down without a fight. “Itadori fought to gain control so Sukuna won’t kill me.”
There is silence as they both just let the words sink in around them for a moment. Nobara thinks of something appropriate to say but in the end, all she has is, “Shit.”
“Yeah.”
“Just had to be the hero, huh?”
Nobara won’t admit it under torture but she’s really fucking glad for Yuuji’s stupid hero complex and resolutely doesn’t think about what it would be like being the only occupant of the first-floor dorms.
“Then he told me to live a long life.”
“Wow.” She couldn’t help but let out a disbelieving huff. “That’s fucked up.”
“Isn’t it?”
“Who the hell did he think he was?” She couldn’t help the slight incredulity seeping into her tone from the sheer absurdity of Megumi’s recount of the events. “An anime protagonist?”
Something about Nobara’s comment and how casual the conversation has veered into seems to tickle Megumi. He lets out a snort and in the next second, they’re both laughing, loud guffaws and cackles echoing in the silent halls, not entirely out of humor and sounding a little hysterical and insane but whatever. Aren’t all Jujutsu Sorcerers supposed to be crazy anyway? If they can’t laugh and bond over the loss of a teammate they might as well quit now.
Nobara sighs when her laughter finally dies down and wipes a tear from the corner of her eyes. “Sounds to me like Itadori cursed you.”
“Yeah?” Megumi wheezes out, straightening himself. “Did you know that was the second time Itadori saved my life?”
“Well, now you owe it to him to live long I suppose.”
“How troublesome.”
Nobara stares ahead at the closed door in front of them—Yuuji’s door. It opened and closed the morning they left for Eishu and it hadn’t opened since. A month has passed since that mission and his room remains untouched. The windows and the sliding door leading to the back are closed shut so It probably smells like mildew, stale and pungent. They were supposed to do laundry that week but now that Yuuji’s dead his hamper of dirty clothes is just sitting inside and adding to the smell. Dust had probably collected on the furniture, too, and Nobara wouldn’t be surprised if mold had formed in his bathroom tiles. She hopes Yuuji didn’t leave any snacks lying around and if he did (he probably did), bugs had probably eaten them and any perishables would have rotted by now. Overall, Yuuji’s room would smell rancid as all fuck the moment someone opens that door.
Not like someone will any time soon. Not unless they find a new student (a thought that is so wrong on so many levels Nobara doesn’t even want to consider it), or the school orders it to be cleared out, or if the smell gets so bad in which case it’ll be down between her and Megumi to see who cracks first and busts it open. Either way, Nobara is determined not to be the one who opens that damn door. Her money’s on Megumi anyway since he’s closer. The rotten smell will get to him first.
“Hey.” Nobara nudges Megumi’s barefoot with her socked one. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there to help. You shouldn’t have—” She clenches her jaw, annoyed at herself for being weak at the time they needed her. Megumi had to save her and then went back to the facility for Itadori. She was being driven in the BMW on the way back to the school practically unscathed meanwhile her teammates were fighting for their lives. “You shouldn’t have had to fight Sukuna alone. And you shouldn’t have had to see Itadori—Tch.”
“It’s fine.”
“Shut up. You know it’s not. We’re a team dammit.” Gojo all but shoved that fact down their throats. “I should’ve been there fighting along with you.”
“What?” Megumi scowls at her. “Fuck that. I’m glad you weren’t there.”
“What?” Nobara turns to him with an answering scowl. “You think I would have just gotten on your way?”
“What? No! I didn’t mean—” There’s a fire in Megumi’s eyes that Nobara hasn’t seen since the incident. His face is scrunched up in indignation, brows meeting in the middle, and his mouth opens and closes as he attempts to verbalize what he really means. “Itadori was already—! I didn’t want you to also—”
Megumi’s emotional constipation wins out in the end and he finally shuts his mouth with an audible clack of his teeth. Nobara rolls her eyes and takes pity on him.
“Tch. Whatever. I get it. But I still should’ve been there.” Then, with all the conviction she feels deep in her bones, “Next time shit like that happens, bet your ass I’ll be there.”
“What?” Megumi throws her a wry smirk. “You gonna make me watch you die next?”
Nobara smirks back. “What makes you so sure I won’t be the one watching you die, huh?”
“Touché.”
“Man,” Nobara scoffs, a smile on her lips in spite of herself, head thumping on the wall behind her. “Are we fucked up or what?”
“Gojo-sensei always says you’d have to be a certain level of crazy to be a Jujutsu sorcerer.”
“We got that one down pat, alright.” Their willing enrollment to Jujutsu Tech notwithstanding, the fact they’re having this conversation about their dead teammate and the very real possibility of watching each other die in the future so casually, should be proof enough. “And a team that gets traumatized together stays together, I guess.”
Megumi just hums and Nobara takes that as his tacit agreement that they’ll be sticking with each other from now on. Nothing bonds people more than shared trauma after all.
---
“Wow,” Yuuji breathes out. “This is…”
“Yeah,” was all Megumi could say, not that he had much to say anyway. What the fuck do you even say to the person you made a grave for because you thought they died when you actually saw them die right before your eyes only for them to come back to life? “Yeah,” Megumi repeats because that’s what.
“Well, in my—our defense,” Nobara remedies even though it was really her who made the tombstone in the first place, engraving and flowers and all. “We thought you were dead—which you were, by the way, so. Yeah.”
Megumi had found out by accident. He saw her walking to the dorms with a slab of stone under one arm and a bouquet of flowers—orange lilies—on the other.
At first, he thought either: 1) Nobara had a suitor, or 2) she just bought them for the hell of it, or 3) she was delivering them for someone else. He ruled out the first one when he saw the direction she was going, and the second one because only Yuuji ever bought flowers to put in the dorms ‘for a pop of color’ he had said, a habit he developed when he used to visit his grandfather in the hospital.
His third guess was right. Megumi just wasn’t prepared for what and who she was delivering it for.
Nobara didn’t startle when Megumi appeared beside her. She just remained squatting in front of the tombstone—Itadori’s tombstone—which she dug up soil and set up herself right outside of the dorm gardens behind their rooms while Megumi watched her numbly at the sidelines.
Itadori Yuuji, it read, Grandson, Friend, Jujutsu Sorcerer.
“They wouldn’t erect one in the school’s graveyard,” Nobara muttered as she arranged the bouquet in front of the slab.
Megumi knows why. This grave, still on school grounds, and the engraving was Nobara’s way of rebelling and flipping the metaphorical middle finger to the higher-ups. Gojo-sensei will be proud when he gets back and sees this.
“So much for a guy you’ve only known for two weeks, huh?” Megumi squats down beside her, their shoulders touching. He reads Yuuji’s birth date and notes that he’s older than him by a couple of months.
“Tch. Shut up.” She nudged his shoulder.
“How d’you know his birthday?”
“Please. It’s so obvious the guy’s a Pisces.”
“Stole his file in the record’s office?”
“It’s not fair.” Nobara chews on her bottom lip. “He was one of us.”
“Nothing in our world is, Kugisaki,” Megumi replies, a lesson he’s learned early in life. He thinks about Tsumiki, lying comatose in a hospital bed because of a still unidentified curse, of her smiling and talking about Megumi’s brand of fairness, and suddenly feels ridiculous.
“Did you know he had an execution order?”
“Gojo-sensei promised he wouldn’t let it happen.”
The words sounded stupid coming out of Megumi’s mouth and an irrational anger threatens to choke him. Anger at the higher-ups for what is now an obvious set-up. Anger at Gojo for not keeping his promise, for being late to arrive at the scene. Anger at himself for believing in him and for being too weak and unable to save his friend or at least delay the inevitable himself.
“So much for that.”
“Yeah.”
“I didn’t know what Itadori’s favorite flowers are,” Nobara says after a while. “So, I just brought the one that reminds me of him.”
“Tiger lilies.”
“What?”
“Tiger lilies. He told me in passing he liked them,” Megumi remarks, staring at the bouquet of orange lilies wrapped in paper and cellophane tied with a yellow ribbon. “You’re not far off, I guess.”
“Good to know.”
Which brings them to the now.
Yuuji squats in front of his tombstone and his hand reaches out to trace the engravings. Will it be morbid of him to say that he’s really touched his friends made a memorial for him?
“This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me,” he says anyway because, well, he really is touched.
“Fucking hell, Itadori. Are you serious?”
“The bar is so low, it’s in hell.”
“What? It’s nice!” They put him in the garden right between their dorms. What? So they can visit him more easily and remember him every time they come out here? Fuck. “And you even put my favorite flowers!”
Around his grave, there are old dried-up petals which means Nobara and Megumi have been replacing them. The bouquet of tiger lilies hasn't wilted yet which means it’s relatively fresh, give or take a day or two. Yuuji is so fucking touched he could actually cry.
“Fushiguro was the one who remembered!” Nobara, face slightly dusted pink, is quick to say, her tone accusing.
“Well, you’re the one who made the tombstone!” Megumi shoots back, face slowly reddening and mirroring Nobara.
“Oh my god! Shut up!”
“You guys!” The argument is preempted when Yuuji suddenly turns to pull both Nobara and Megumi in a crushing hug. “Thanks.”
“Tch. Whatever,” Megumi says, trying to play it cool but slowly wrapping the arm not squashed between him and Nobara around Yuuji, resting his cheek on his shoulder.
“Just don’t make us go through that again!” Nobara scolds, pinching Yuuji’s ear before hugging back.
“Like I said! Blame Gojo-sensei! He was the one with the idea to keep me on the down low!”
For future reference, Yuuji will not be trusting Gojo-sensei too much when it comes to, uhh, life and death reveal matters.
Yuuji lets his friends go and they stare at his grave consideringly.
“What are we going to do with this now, now that you’re, uh, undead?”
“...we could make tombstones for you both and put them all out on Halloween? Would make for great decor. Team graves.”
“Huh. Morbid.”
“But not a bad idea.”

Hello! Could you do a yuta x reader oneshot where reader is a year younger then him and also uses a sword. They are compared to yuta and put down as lesser when going against Kyoto in the goodwill event. So when she meets him she has a rivalry without him knowing. Some rivals to lovers energy. Thank you so much!
Pairing: Yuuta x Reader; request says fem but no pronouns were used to describe reader.
CW: Mini tsunderes; slight Yuuta dragging because reader is jealous. Lol First attempt at Yuuta, let’s goo.
Summary: You meet Okkotsu for the first time. He’s friendly, you on the other hand…
“He looks like the type who got bullied in middle school.”
That’s your first thought upon meeting Okkotsu for the first time. His hair is a bit messy, the disarray obviously from fighting, and his eyes are dark and a little sunken, exhaustion, also obvious to you. The most intimidating thing about him is the tremendous amount of curse energy swirling around him like a thick fog, indicating he definitely had more than enough fire power to earn the reputation that follows him. Yet compared to Gojo, he lacked the flare that you thought all high tier sorcerers were supposed to possess and traded it for gloominess.
Even as he kicks the cursed spirit you were fighting off the broken hilt of his blade, you don’t really feel intimidated by him. It makes you question if this was the same Okkotsu that everyone talks about:
“When I saw another katana-user I got all excited, thinking you’d be like Okkotsu.” The image of that condescending shrug from that thick-headed gorilla known as Todo still haunts you. “But you’re nothing special.”
At least Panda tried to cheer you up after that exchange. “I didn’t know you were a blade-user. It is too bad Yuuta isn’t here. He could probably give you much better training than we could. That’s not to say you don’t know what you’re doing!”
And seeing how average looking he appeared was making you angry and slightly disappointed all over again. This guy is the one who is supposed to be the school’s supreme student?
“Oh, you’re one of sensei’s first years. (Name), right? I didn’t realize the school already stationed someone out here.”
His soft voice easily catches your attention, and it reaffirms your idea that he definitely got bullied in middle school, but what you hadn’t noticed was him getting closer until he was nearly on top of you. Stealthy. “I was assigned to clear the city of remaining curses, but they didn’t tell me that it was a duo mission,” you explain, taking the opportunity to size him up. You didn’t think you could match his cursed energy reserve, but your technique could at least be better.
“I’m not. I noticed a lot of curse energy build up in the area. I’m glad I came to check. You looked like you were in trouble. You’re not hurt, are you?”
You almost make a sarcastic remark, but you’re disarmed by him smiling at you. It’s more innocent and purer than you’re expecting from another sorcerer, and you immediately understand what Panda meant when he claimed that Maki is a little softer around him.
“No, I’m okay. But the area has already been evacuated, and I have the curse situation under control so there’s no need for you to be here,” you tell him, gripping your hand tighter around your sword as you prepare to move to the next city block.
Then, he stops you. “I already killed the remaining curses.”
You freeze in place, your mind flashing with the memories of your assignment and all the curses you’ve taken on since you’ve been here. You had to be out here for at least 2 hours, and he’s saying he finished it all. “All of them?!”
“It really wasn’t that many. Twenty or so. A lot of them were little guys.”
Your jaw must be rusty because it takes three good tries for you to clamp shut your gaping mouth. “I-I see,” you sputter out. “Well, I took the majority anyway. There were three times that when I started.”
“Ah!” He chuckles lightly at you. “I’m sorry to have got in the way then.”
You can’t believe he has the nerve to laugh at you, and you turn to hide your pout. “Just so you know I don’t split mission payment.”
“That’s not a problem, but do you mind if I borrow that? I happened to break mine,” he asks, pointing to the sword latched on your hip. You instinctively clamp your hand around the handle, so tight you can feel the cord burning against your skin. “Please, ma’am. It’d really save me a lot of trouble if I didn’t have to return to the school. I’ll make sure to escort you back to your pickup zone as well.” He folds his hands together, bowing slightly; and though you can’t disagree that something in you likes having the boy you’re always compared to pleading to you or calling you ma’am, your body refuses to hand over the weapon.
“Yes, I mind. You should be more careful with your stuff if you don’t want it breaking, pff, guess your technique isn’t that great after all,” you shrug, and he jerks back slightly at your rejection.
Taken aback, he blushes slightly from embarrassment. “Sorry. Did I do something to make you upset?”
“No, not personally,” you admit quietly, but your conversation is interrupted by the cracking of the ground under your feet. It doesn’t take more than a second to register the cursed energy seeping from the cracking void underneath you. There must have been one hiding all this time.
You duck in Okkotsu’s direction before the ground erupts, revealing a tank-sized scorpion curse. “Looks like you missed one,” you blurt out, and he steps in front of you one hand stretched out in front of your waist to stop you from taking a step forward.
“Stand back,” he instructs and swipes out a katana at his side before moving to take on the curse drilling holes into the ground in front of you.
You scoff as he takes the frontline, as if you were going to stand back and let him do all the work. When you reach for your sword, your fingers grasp nothing but air, and you realize your blade is gone from its scabbard. You search for the familiar glint of steel, only to find the source of your missing blade is non-other than him.
When did he even grab it!
“Hey, you!” you yell out, ignoring the fact that he’s in battle with a curse, not that you think he’d have any trouble judging by the stories; and certainly, you understand now that you would have a lot of catching up to do simply by how easily he takes on the overgrown spirit all by himself.
As soon as the curse spirit fell, you stomp up to him to yank your sword out of his hold while he’s distracted watching the body disappear. “Give me that! Who do you think you are swinging my sword around like that?” you scold, scrutinizing the length of the blade for any knicks. “You, you scratched it!”
He smiles sheepishly, scratching at his cheek to rid himself of the nervous sweat working down the side of his face. “I’m sorry. I’ll be sure to have it repaired.”
“That’s not the point. This is a Grade-1 blade! You can’t pour that much cursed energy into it all willynilly like you did,” you scold with a huff, ignoring his apologies and only stopping when his palm cups your face.
Thinking he was about to pick a fight with you, you brace yourself with an influx of curse energy for protection but it’s only a few seconds for you to register the calm flowing into you.
“Your face is cut up,” he explains, ghosting his thumb over your cheek to swipe away a smear of blood. “Some of the debris from the fight must have hit you.”
“Those are just scratches. Nothing to be concerned about,” you grunt out but it’s not enough to stop him from healing you.
“There. All done,” he says, and you’re momentarily disarmed by that smile again. You guess up close, he’s a bit handsome in a way and the way he handles himself is a bit opposite of the gloomy demeanor you originally predicted. “So, I hate to bring this back up, but—"
Sighing, you suppose you owed him one, at least this once. “You better bring it back in one piece,” you demand, handing the sword off to him.
“Yes, ma’am.”

“Y/N, wake up please”
However, no matter how desperate he sounded nor how loud he was. You were non-responsive.
The grass below your body was struggling to soak up all the blood that had been spilt from your unknown wound caused by the special grade curse that you were fighting against.
No one knew how the curse was able to get into the premises of the battlefield of the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event, let alone how it managed to get anywhere near Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. However, right now, all Fushiguro knew was that you were in critical condition as you continued to stay silent to his pleas.
“This ain’t some joke Y/N, wake up!” Fushiguro shouted in agony as he lifted your body into his arms, searching for any source of warmth from you that he was desperate to hold. Yet, you were just stone cold.
Frantic, Fushiguro began to search around your body to see if he could find the injury that was the final blow that you took, but there was no visible presence of one leading to the shikigami sorcerer’s anxiety to heighten as he began to wonder what really happened to you. What could have the special curse did that causes you to fall into a coma? A coma right? You were just in a coma? You weren’t dead? You couldn’t be dead?
“Megumi, she’s….Y/N is..” Maki began to stutter, afraid of the junior’s reaction to what she would have to announce as she began to reach out to him, leading Fushiguro to turn to look at her with tears welled up in his eyes which led Maki to look at him with widened eyes.
Never once she ever saw the green-eyed sorcerer have a single tear in his eyes as well as the rest of the sorcerers behind her as they stared at the situation that was happening right in front of them. On the other hand, they weren’t really surprised at the fact that you were the one that brought those same tears into his precious eyes.
You were the first person to ever make them see Fushiguro smile.
Itadori remembered it as clear as day. It was when he had first met you at Harajuku around the same time when he first met Kugisaki. To his surprise that day, you weren’t the new student that they were meeting but rather a current student at the school he newly attended, it was just that you weren’t the one chosen to collect Sukuna’s finger at Sendai that day due to you having a mission of your own.
ꕥ
“So, you’re the infamous student that ate Sukuna’s finger?” you commented, as you walked towards the two students who were waiting in front of the station Gojo has told you to meet everyone at - but to no shock or surprise from you, the said teacher was not there to greet you.
“Oh? Are you the new student we are waiting for?” Itaodori kindly asked, as he took another bite out of his ice popsicle leading to your boyfriend, who was standing next to the salmon-haired boy, to have a say in the newly started conversation.
“No, this is L/N Y/N, she’s a first-year student like us, she enrolled at the same time as me,” Fushiguro informed the boy leading you to kindly smile at him while holding up a peace sign to seem more friendly.
“I’m Itadori Yuji, I’m from Sendai,” Itadori greeted you as he pointed at himself, causing you to nod your head before asking both the boys where your extremely tall teacher was, only for them to shrug at you indicating they had no idea on where Gojo was at all.
‘He probably is buying snacks or something ha?’
“Now it ain’t just the two of us ha Megumi?” you playfully asked your boyfriend as you poked his cheek, leading him to send you a side glance only for a giggle to be your response. Although it was a small interaction, Itadori was able to instantly pick up on something that confused him slightly.
“L/N, why did you call Fushiguro by his first name and not his family one?” Itadori asked in curiosity as he wondered how you were really friendly with the usually grumpy sorcerer. Turning to look at your new classmate, you smiled at him and quickly answered by saying, “no reason really, he just allowed me to since we’re really good friends,”.
Knowing Fushiguro, you knew he probably didn’t want to reveal the fact that you and him were in a relationship to Itadori too early into his newfound friendship with him, so you decided that it was the best for now to tell your new classmate that you two were really good friends.
On the other hand, what you didn’t see was how Fushiguro was looking at you. The shikigami user really appreciated the fact that you weren’t the type to tell the whole world about the both of you since he was a person that thought that not everyone needed to know if he was in a relationship or not leading to a small smile to dawn his face with a hint of adoration in his eyes as he stared at you.
Which was caught by the sights of Itadori Yuji.
ꕥ
However in his sights right now was not the same expression Fushiguro had that day. But how he wished it was. All Itadori could see right now was fear, desperation and regret in Fushiguro’s emerald eyes as he was holding onto your body like he was gripping the small amount of life that you could possibly have left in your body.
“Please don’t leave me,” Fushiguro muttered in a brittle tone, as he gently shook you, not giving up on the fact that you could have a chance of waking up. Not giving up the chance that he gets to see your beautiful eyes. Not giving up the chance that he gets to see your bright smile. Not giving up on the chance that he gets to see you alive.
“I’m sorry for not protecting you, please just wake up, I can’t lose you too,” Fushiguro begged as sorrowful tears began to lightly hit your cheeks with his throat slowly closing up leading to a slight struggle in breathing. Fushiguro slowly and regrettably came to the realisation that you were now gone, leading to a river of guilt that uncontrollably began to flow down to which caused the grade two sorcerer let out a pained scream as his friends from behind looked at the scene with a broken heart.
Gripping on to your body, Fushiguro held your body against his chest and his face was hidden in the crook of your head wanting to hold you for one last time before you were fully taken away from him.
“Hey….Mimi”
Now he was hallucinating. Fushiguro was now hearing your voice as if you were calling out to him. He couldn’t help but fully accept that fact that you were dead and there was no chance you could possibly be calling out his nickname that he hated so much but was so desperate to hear again if he could.
Suddenly to his shock, Fushiguro felt a light but tight grip on his school jacket leading him to slowly pull away with widening eyes to a hand on his jacket causing him to look up to notice your eyes slowly begin to open, showcasing the coloured orbs that the shikigami user was so desperate to see.
“Mimi….it’s really hard to….concentrate using reverse curse energy….when you’re tightly gripping on to me,” you slowly commented with a small smile on your face, to which then you slowly began to sit up only to fall back into his arms due to exhaustion of using a magnitude of your curse energy to heal the injury that the special curse managed to wound you with.
“Y/N!” everyone shouted, as they crouched down to have a clear view of what they were seeing. To their complete astonishment, you were fully awake with a smile on your face leading everyone’s hearts to fill with joy as they were relieved that you were here right in front of them alive and well.
Kugisaki couldn’t help but instantly let tears of complete joy flow down her cheeks as she launched herself on top of you, tightly hugging you close to her releasing all the agonising tension that she was holding in the second she saw your once lifeless body in Fushiguro’s arms.
Gently lifting up one of your arms to Kugisaki’s body to comfort her, you slowly turned your head to stare up at the pair of emerald eyes that were looking at you with such relief and radiance, leading to your other hand that was previously gripping his jacket to then be placed on his cheek as you used your thumb to caress it to help him slowly come back to reality.
To be honest, you could tell he needed it right now. At the beginning of the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event, you, Fushiguro and Kugisaki were utterly dumbfounded at the fact that Itadori was alive and well after 2 months of assuming that he was dead after Sukuna ripped out his heart and now you somehow you ‘came back alive’ after sustaining a serious injury of your neck being slashed - you knew seeing two people being revived was not what you saw every day.
“I’m sorry for scaring you like that,” you whispered to Fushiguro as you lightly brushed the remaining tears he had on his cheek leading to the stoic sorcerer to softly place his forehead against yours as he began to savour the warmth that he thought he had lost.
“Thank you,’ Fushiguro muttered as he closed his eye tightly, holding in the new coming tears that were threatening to flow down leading to your hand that was on his cheek to be now placed on the back of his neck as your fingers began to caress his hair to help calm him down even further.
“Thank you for staying”

7th Dimension (Chapter 2)
7TH DIMENSION SYNOPSIS/MASTERLIST
Masterlist for other fandoms
Wattpad link for 7th Dimension
Chapter 1
Characters: Gojo Satoru x Small!Naive!Fem!Reader | THIS IS A MULTI-CHAPTER FIC. THIS IS AN X READER FANFIC WHO HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE DIMENSION OF JUJUTSU KAISEN | (Trust me, you'll live. I hope?)
Summary for this chapter: Perhaps, the woman who happened to be teleported in the world of Jujutsu wasn't exactly the same woman he met back in that certain dimension after all. Would she still be a woman of use or just nugatory as Gojo Satoru could see fit?
Warnings: Mentions of Blood. Wounds. Todo being Todo. This happens in between the Goodwill Event, the Hanami incident. Some words written in Italics between dialogues only would be Romajis's for Japanese or English words being stated by specific characters from time to time. I've kind of shifted some scenes as well. Some gifs here and there. To those who already read my works, y'all know how I love inserting them in between chapters! 💙
Reminders to avoid confusion: Y'all would probably wonder how Gojo knows you---though, only in terms of appearance because the person who he's meeting here is not the same as whom he met in the special chapter in one of my other fanfics entitled Witcher of the Night. (It's a fanfic for The Witcher Series televised on Netflix) I don't even know why the heck I tried connecting both of these fanfics together. Think of it as a multi-verse. However, the woman---a.k.a reader in 7th Dimension is NOT the same nor have the same soul as the woman being portrayed in my other fic. They have different lives or history. They are entirely different but acquire the same appearances only. It's just so if you love The Witcher and also Jujutsu Kaisen, then you get the best of both worlds from my fanfic works. Heehee! (I haven't finished writing the Special Chapter I have for Gojo's appearance in the other fanfic I have, so I apologize. I'm currently focusing on writing future chapters for 7th Dimension first, so I hope any of you won't get lost in translation---I mean won't get lost in this fanfic of mine. <3)
A/N: I've updated a little too early! This chapter should've been published on February 23, 2022 but since y'all are too sweet from chapter 1, so here it is! An early chapter for everyone! Heehee! ENJOY!
Tell me if you want to be tagged whenever I publish chapters for 7th Dimension! Send an ask or message me!
COMMENTS, REBLOGS AND HEARTS ARE SUPER-DUPER HIGHLY APPRECIATED! IT GIVES ME SUCH MOTIVATION!
Words: 2k+
Disclaimer: PNG's or pictures used in edits are not mine even the GIF's too. Credits to the rightful owners! I only own the plot of this whole fanfic. But, not Jujutsu Kaisen's storyline. I apologize for the typos or grammatical errors by the way! English isn't my first language so I'm so sorry in advance! Character development and personalities are based from my understanding and how I want them to be. This has no connection towards the anime or manga as this is a FANFIC.
From the moment Juzo Kumiya's curtain was destroyed and Satoru Gojo activating his Hollow Technique: Purple, a gigantic single purple sphere that was bound to obliterate everything in its path and to prevent from Hanami from leaving the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event. The students of Kyoto Jujutsu High and Tokyo Jujutsu High were sure enough that the Special Grade Curse Spirit has been definitely annihilated.
But, not for the strongest sorcerer. He could sense there was more to it, probably even a bunch more surprising events that leave him dwelling that it was still alive.
"Yay! That settles everything!" Satoru gave principal Gakuganji a big thumbs up, completely irking him at the process as he grinned, his teeth radiating under the sunbeam of the early morning. The senile member of the higher-ups in the Jujutsu Society scowled before him, constantly hearing Juzo's pathetic whines and pained moans on the corner. Both sorcerers, leaving him bleeding out of his limbs due to Gojo's rash doing, planning that he was in for an interrogation.
He'd lifted a part of his blindfold, regarding such prodigal solution of his to this gatecrashing disturbance and closely observing if the special grade curse-spirit and curse users were still around the area. Gojo gave the scene a side-eye, unveiling one of his Arctic eyes which held great, compelling abilities that no other has inherited for the past hundred years.
The strongest Jujutsu sorcerer was absorbed in his own puzzling thoughts when he suddenly felt something else, making him blink twice.
Another intruder. Though, the emanations it held felt more familiar rather than the aleatory interlopers in the midst of the Goodwill Event.
He'd taken a pause, slightly taking him by surprise but never allowing other people to see through his astonishment, appearing to still remain unfazed by all and keeping himself under his cool, Satoru pointed back at Kyoto Jujutsu High's principal in a smug manner, calling in the shots for a halfly extirpated Juzo laying on the ground, "Principal Gakuganji, you take him out for interrogation, will ya'?"
Yoshinobu Gakuganji couldn't help the twitch form his mouth from his uncivilized talks, thoroughly antagonized by this particular sorcerer's existence and always seeing him as irritating and destructive. Gojo took no heed to his reply and instantaneously left him to his own, warping out of the scene to deal with another commotion that would be worth the bewilderment.
"Tch. This brat." the principal muttered beneath his breath as he deeply sighed.
Aoi Todo stood tall and proud with his chiseled, muscular build radiating beneath the sun's rays. Hands on his hips as he cackled out loud at the exceptional scenery that flashed before their eyes which happened to be Gojo's impractical way of cutting down a problem. The Grade 1 sorcerer was still chuckling as a single drop of sweat fell on the side of his neck, shaking his head from the sudden out turn.
Hanami was about to cast Domain Expansion if it weren't for the curtains which has been quickly destroyed by the man that was prohibited to enter, a curtain that pushed him out of the way to exclude himself in joining in the fun.
Gojo Satoru was never one to miss such ruckus especially when it had his students involved.
"Heh. I knew it. He's still nonstandard as ever." Todo deeply chuckled with a smirk, completely entertained by how Gojo's Hollow Technique crumbled half of Kyoto Jujutsu High into a disintegrating mess, the scene appeared like a large meteor came to ruin mother earth and its beauty, entirely a ramshackle Grand Canyon for the end of a world.
"Todo," Yuji Itadori, The Tiger of West Junior High and a first year student of Tokyo Jujutsu High who happened to be Sukuna's Vessel hollered for his friend's attention, how they quickly became friends on such a short amount of time still gets Itadori wondering what made it happen, "---Is this still Gojo Sensei's doing?"
What stood before them was a bottomless pit of bright abyss, the opposite of how a black hole could've been envisaged. Todo was quick enough to comprehend, its bright luminescence entirely taking them both as it also blinded them along the way. The partners in crime shielded themselves from the vivid streaks, momentarily looking away, squinting their eyes shut as it became drastic with every second.
It was obscuring their visions.
"Spatial Teleportation? No. This doesn't look like it. Unless he has learned something new or have been keeping something under his blindfold---"
In that instant, Todo heard a clamorous reverberation of a truck's horn, seeming to run them over through the blinding abyss. He was quick to revolt against the unforeseen collision and jumped high, the circular chasm closing in at least a second and cutting the Freight truck in half. The third year student couldn't believe his eyes as the scene before them unfold, zooming in on a woman flying out of the void who happened to have collided with the vehicle and appeared to be abominably thrashed by the impact.
"Yuji!" He loudly exclaimed as he was in the air, leaped high enough and hasty to even collide with the vehicle. Itadori's senses were also at high speed and like greased lightning, he'd grabbed you away, prancing to the sides before it has even slammed the both of you, "I got her!"
"Half a truck. Ha!---" Todo commented, guffawing at the unsought intrusion of something they didn't understand. He fell flat on his slippers, sauntering towards the huge truck cut in half. It hit a tree and probably ruined it due to the powerful impact of collision. He noticed that there was no one controlling the vehicle up front, leaving him looking utterly baffled by the accident, "---Where's the driver, then?"
"She's badly battered and bleeding." Itadori brought into the open, stating the obvious as he observed your wounds and bleeding skull. Blood seeped out of a deep, opened wound surrounding the side of your head, hemorrhage transparent and starting to begin for how beaten up you were, crimson liquid flowing down and probably staining his school uniform more than he even did to himself even after the fight with Hanami.
"We need to get her to Shoko-Senpai." He added and stood up, taking no sweat in carrying you in both his arms, determined to take a run for it to save your life as he gave Todo a glance, skeptical why the muscle-bound man has an expression of distrust.
"A woman who we don't know and who's certainly not Takada," Todo scoffed with a grin, crossing his burly arms as he closely observed you in curiosity, trying to see if you were a sorcerer, non-sorcerer or a cursed spirit.
An uncalled school of thought distracted him from the unfortunate incident. Without a doubt, it was not the right time for it. His impression telling him that you weren't his type in women. Though, Todo kept his mouth shut for the impertinent discussions for the meantime.
Yuji gave him a blank look, he knew it was not the right time for his fanboying nature when he was holding an immensely injured woman.
"Is she friends with the tree?" The pink haired student suddenly asked, eyeing Todo in doubt but utterly puzzled by the situation as he started to mutter random conjectures over your surprising entrance, "What if she's a ticking time bomb sent by the Special Grade Cursed Spirit and---"
Aoi Todo gave Yuji Itadori a point of his hand, motioning towards your battered self who was being held by his friend, "Then don't touch her, my Besto-Friendo."
"And leave her bleeding on the ground?" Itadori asked in disbelief, his tone sounding like he was alarmed of the situation that Todo wanted to happen, "---Todo," he continued, trying to catch his attention when the brawny man's shoulders shook from laughing out loud at his friend's reaction.
He was only kidding when he found Yuji's reaction utmost comical, never believing that he actually convinced him that he was serious.
Todo reached out, showing both robust arms to Itadori and offered to help and give you to the school's doctor instead, "I'll carry her then---"
Both men halted in between their chitter-chatters, seeming to feel like they were visited by a strong sorcerer who has saved the day. They've turned their heads to confirm and straightaway knew by the amount of cursed energy they've felt from the man.
There stood the honored one, Gojo Satoru who had his hands inside his pockets, standing tall as he wore his black blindfold. His moisturized lips inscrutable for them to know what he was thinking, though deep inside, there was no doubt that they were thinking that he wanted to give a remark over something because the Sensei never runs out of anything to say.
Surprisingly which was unconditionally enough to bowl over on, all they've gotten from him was a call of their name.
"Todo, Yuji." Satoru nonchalantly acknowledged, offering them a smile and bringing them to their attention. They were thinking that he was wondering who was the bleeding woman in his student's arms.
However, they had no idea that the Jujutsu Sorcerer knew your arrival beforehand.
"Hai, Gojo-Sensei." Itadori acknowledged his teacher with a respectful tone, turning at least ninety degrees to show the harmed woman in his arms, "She appeared out of nowhere, going through some type of dimensional-teleportation technique---" he was cut off by Todo who immediately questioned his theories.
"Is there even---" Itadori interrupted back, shrugging to himself as Gojo began to stroll towards where they stood, "Other than Gojo-Sensei who can warp in a definite amount of distance? No." he sounded rest-assured and continued his assumptions, "---But, in the movies, Yes. I guess."
Without even lifting a part of his blindfold, the strongest sorcerer knew then and there that the woman Yuji Itadori was holding is you, yet he felt like his own assurance held no concrete evidence because he knew himself that there was something different with the battered girl who was breathing on his student's arms versus the woman he met when he travelled in a dimension he hardly knew about.
A very strange one if Gojo Satoru was honest. It looked like you were living in a foreign world or a movie he could make Yuji watch for hours and actually learn how to fight using swords and those weak looking weapons.
He could hear your shallow breathing. You were breathing. You weren't dead. But, you could be if he stalled long enough.
You better not be dead when you actually knew what was going to happen in the future with just one touch to his face because your words were entirely accurate. There actually has been gatecrashers in the midst of the Goodwill Event, knowing Gojo---he doubted at first and never believed a single thing. However, after everything that has happened, he was convinced that the woman he met back then was a forecaster of the future.
Hence, this wounded woman happened to look exactly the same as her.
Though, he could feel it---doubted that this woman who was badly injured is the same person who he met back in that particular dimension.
"Is she teamed up with the cursed-spirits? Or just a non-sorcerer?" Todo was engaged in the conversation with Yuji, eyeing his friend and the woman in his arms, "---She should be dead then."
Aoi Todo was responsive enough of the surprising, self-effacing sensei who seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. He was also confident enough to call him out in between his abnormal silence and wanted to try and pry. "Oi, oi, oi!" the beefy man burst out with a grin as he was keeping an eye on Gojo Satoru who kept to be reticent, "Ha! well, this is a first---" A pause. "---Some dirt caught in your blindfold or something?"
"Yuji," Gojo repeated for the second time, weirdly unresponsive of Todo's razz as he retrieved his hands out of his pockets and tried to catch his student's attention who seemed to be like he was also lost in his own thoughts. He noticed how his teacher was motioning him to place you in his arms. Itadori blinked twice towards Satoru's outstretched arms and onto the bleeding woman who was unfortunately, you.
"Huh---right, Sensei." His student finally responded, willingly and carefully placing you in Gojo's long arms.
"I'll get her to Shoko."
Y/N be living the dream, now in Gojo's arms---IT'S MY DREAM! NOT HER! MY DREAM MAS! *kicks the ground*

Additional notes: This is so funny but I made a mistake in assuming the previous Goodwill event was held in Tokyo. Rewatched JJK and found out it was in Kyoto so I had to rewrite it XD.
Chapter 11: Kyoto-Tokyo Goodwill Event
Breakfast was a quiet affair. He brought out a short table and you had the meal side by side.
It was grilled salmon and miso soup. You both stole glances at each other when the other wasn't looking.
A domestic life with Noritoshi. Yeah you could get used to this. "Thank you for the meal Noritoshi." You smiled and offered to wash the dishes.
He stood behind you in the small kitchenette as you did, humming softly to yourself. Noritoshi was holding your waist gently and leaning his forehead against your shoulder. Thumbing small circles into the sides of your hips.
You quietly smiled at yourself, not expecting Noritoshi to love physical affection this much. After washing the dishes, you laughed as you placed your ice cold hands on his neck, forcing him to let go of you and flinch back with a frown.
Leaving Noritoshi’s dorm after breakfast had terrible timing apparently. You bumped into Todo senpai on your way out.
“Ah.” You both stared at each other for a bit. Noritoshi was still behind you, the door to his dorm room open. It didn’t help that you had your pillows and blankets in your hands.
And you were still in pajamas.
“So is this like a thing now? Congratulations on getting together.” Todo smiled down at you.
“Ah uhm- we- I- “ You stuttered, but Noritoshi wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you to him.
“Yes we are dating. And what of it?” He stared Todo down. You were flustered but incredibly pleased upon finally hearing a solid label between the two of you.
Todo just grinned. “So you actually have decent taste in women huh Kamo?”
“The best.” He replied dryly. You flushed and whined at Noritoshi, pawing at his robes. He just pulled you closer and hid your face in his chest.
“Didn’t know you had this shy side Tsuchi chan.” Todo was laughing. He bid both of you goodbye, and by the end of the day the entire campus knew both of you were dating.
But of course the both of you didn’t know it yet. “So…. you’re my boyfriend now Toshi?” you reached up to twirl his hair in your fingers as you made your belongings float in midair.
His eyes sparkled at the nickname. He leaned down close to you, “So it seems. Are you unhappy?”
“No. I’m happy.” You leaned up to press your lips against the corner of his.
Noritoshi sent you off, only letting you go after he had gotten a huge hug from you with a deep kiss to the cheek. He realized with a small jolt that he was pretty much touch-starved (no surprises there).
Wishing for more of your hugs and kisses already, and you just left for a few moments. He sighed heavily and shook his head.
Later that day, you bumped into Miwa as you were leaving your dorm. It was the weekend so you all had no classes and missions. She hesitantly called out a “Congratulations. You finally got together with Kamo senpai yeah?”
You looked at her in surprise. “How did you-”
“Todo senpai.”
“That man really doesn’t keep his mouth shut.”
◇◇◇
It was a different experience, having the other students tease the both of you about your new relationship as a real boyfriend and girlfriend. You felt weird by calling him your lover.
"I called it!" Mai proudly smirked down at you. "We all did Mai chan." Momo senpai giggled, bumping her hip with yours as you looked shocked over the bets they placed.
Noritoshi always had a soft smile for you. He recently managed his time better, finishing his studies very early so he could spend more time with you.
Not shy to take your hand whenever you meet in the hallways and drag you for a picnic under the huge Plum Tree or just to hug you quickly before going off to a mission.
You were more open, hopping up to him in the hallways and greeting him cheerfully. ‘It was nice’, you thought to yourself.
Ever the overthinker, you at times think of the secrets he mentioned having. Probably personal matters he wasn’t ready to talk about. That’s fine, you had your own fair share as well. Time will heal and bring whatever it may to the both of you.
◇◇◇
The Kyoto-Tokyo sister school goodwill event was drawing near. You and your fellow first years wished all your participating seniors good luck.
“I heard they also have a Special Grade 1st year student in Tokyo Tech.” You perked up at that, “Is that so?”
“I highly doubt they’d come though. Just like how you aren’t participating, Tsuchi. Usually 2nd and 3rd years are the ones participating. It is going to be held here in Kyoto Tech since we won last year.” Todo grinned.
You wondered about that.
◇◇◇
Just a few days before the goodwill event, Utahime texted you and said Noritoshi was injured from a mission. So of course you flew as fast as you could to his room, where he was being treated.
"Noritoshi!!" You wheezed out, entering his room in a burst of wind. You had come back from a lunch date with an old classmate from elementary.
You hurried over to his bedside and looked him over. He slowly turned to you, eyes widening. He smiled, "An angel is here."
You flushed and laughed out loud, "Noritoshi you've lost it. It's just me. Y/n." You brushed some stray hairs out of his face.
He continued staring at you dreamily, “Angel”. You were all dressed up, face fully made up. Rouge lipstick with a light touch of blush on your cheeks. You had your round shades on, prettily framing your face.
He used a free and uninjured hand to reach and cup your cheek. You leaned into his touch before pushing his arm back down. "You need rest." You said gently.
You placed your hands over his chest and activated your reverse cursed technique. He groaned as he felt his skin stitch back together. "Shhh, it will be fine."
He wasn't that badly injured thank goodness. “Angel, have you seen my y/n? I miss her.” He whined. You patted him on the forehead and shushed him with a quick kiss.
Why was he behaving like this?? You turned to the nurse packing their things from the corner, “I put him on anesthesia. He will be loopy for a bit.”
“Ah.” This might be a little bit fun. “Toshiii~ It’s me y/n how could you not recognize me?” You pouted. Noritoshi pouted and whined in return. The nurse pointedly ignored both of you and quickly left the room.
He stared at you with the biggest eyes he’s ever made, seemingly thinking hard. “Don’t think too hard, you’ll lose brain cells.” you whispered.
“Hold me.” He demanded not unlike a child asking for candy. And so you sat beside him and held onto his hand. You watched as he fell asleep, clinging onto your hand.
This loose-tongued and childish side to Noritoshi was just too adorable.
◇◇◇
Noritoshi stirred awake, seeing you so close to him. You were laying on top of his chest, one hand holding onto his.
He stared at your profile half sprawled over his blanket and reached to put a hand on your back and rubbed it soothingly. Then let his hand rest on the back of your neck while tracing small circles on it with the pad of his thumb.
You were so sweet on him. It was a wonder to Noritoshi, who felt as though he was always lacking in physical affection. To see someone sincerely take care of him without requesting anything in return was refreshing for a change.
He watched as you stirred, then your hand tightened in his and you brought it close to your lips, all while you were still fast asleep. Noritoshi’s eyes twinkled. What were you dreaming about? Was it about him?
He watched as you slowly woke up. “Mmmm Toshiii~” you blearily reached out for him. You were able to wash up and change your clothes while he was asleep.
He pulled you into his bed, making your half sprawl over his lap. “Why didn’t you get in bed with me? Surely your back must hurt? It’s late now, sleep with me.” You looked at the clock and to your surprise it was indeed late. 2am.
“Okayy” you were still whiny, half asleep, and slightly grumpy from waking up. You both settled in the bed and fell asleep holding hands.
◇◇◇
It was finally the day of the Kyoto-Tokyo Goodwill event. You were all out, 1st, 2nd and 3rd years with Utahime sensei and Principal Gakuganji, waiting for the Tokyo group to arrive.
Then you felt this ominous presence from afar. You took a few steps back, cursed energy flaring and winds whipping around you. Everyone looked at you in concern and Noritoshi whispered as he squeezed your hand, "Angel, you okay?"
You still found it funny how he now takes to calling you his angel when it’s just the two of you after you told him about his embarrassing moment when he was loopy on sedatives.
You stared off at a distance. "Everyone... Something… big is coming." You didn't realize that you felt Rika's presence from afar. Everyone tensed and looked in the same direction you were as the Tokyo participants came.
There were some really loud 2nd and 3rd years, but the one that stood out was a rather reserved boy with black hair. He had a Katana bag hooked over one shoulder. And a massive curse looming over him. ‘How is that thing not exorcised yet?!’
"Yooooo Everyone from Kyoto hello!!"
That voice. Your eye twitched. "Nice to meet you all again." Gojo Satoru cheerily yelled. Introductions were exchanged. The group challenge on the first day is Capture the Flag. The details for the individual battles tomorrow are yet to be announced.
Everyone was surprised to hear that the first year, Okkotsu Yuuta, the special grade cursed human, was participating to even out the numbers.
Based on that amount of cursed energy…. Tokyo school might win this year, you thought grimly. 'As long as there are no casualties please.' You prayed to yourself. You wished Noritoshi good luck with a quick hug.
After the participants were dismissed and released to their positions, the Kyoto 1st year's followed the two principals and Utahime sensei.
"Neko-chaaaan! How cruel, you don't wanna greet me?" His damn voice was so fucking loud everyone in the vicinity turned to Satoru.
(His nickname for you was cute but the story wasn't. When you were 4 years old, the Tsuchi family cat always ran away from you. You tried to be more catlike to befriend it, which Satoru found hilarious. Ergo, he started calling you Cat or Neko chan.)
Your eye twitched again as always does with Satoru. "Toru nii, it's been a while." You said, looking at the man leering down at your figure. He pulled you in for a side hug and ruffled your hair. "I missed you loads, it's been a while huh. How's school?"
"Not too bad." You fixed and patted your hair back down, aware of the eyes on you.
"Mmm, I bet." His bright blue [six] eyes could see the red strings linking your pinky to Noritoshi's. "You got a boyfriend by any chance y/n?"
You stopped at that and looked up at him. "Did Hiroki tell you anything?" "Nup" he always pops his P's obnoxiously.
You looked to the side and murmured "I do."
"You have a boyf-ooms" You slapped your hand over his mouth, floating up to his height. You could practically see his blue eyes gleaming behind those white bandages. "Keep your voice down dimwit." You hissed.
He licked your hand. "You're gross as always Toru," you wiped it on his sleeve as you walked on air to match his height.
"You should have told me you got a boyfriend. Anywayss, my students are gonna kick ass. Yuuta is pretty strong and he's the type to go all out you know?" He nudged you.
"Noritoshi and the senpais won't go down without a fight." You said. “Heehhh, is that so?”
You caught up a bit with him, making small talk as you made your way to the viewing rooms.
◇◇◇
Miwa later pulled you aside, "You know Gojo Satoru?! Isn't he, like, super famous?!"
"Uhhh?? He is?? … uhm I don't know. But we are family friends, he's like a brother to me really." You said confusedly. "The Tsuchimikado and Gojo clans always got along. His dad and my dad are friends."
"Ahhh I see." She nodded. She was still unfamiliar with the Great 3 clans and minor clans of Jujutsushi so it was understandable for her to be curious.
The rest of you filed into the room. The teachers allowed all of you to watch on the screens, so that you can get familiar with the goodwill event.
"Psst! Y/n sit beside me." You laughed as Satoru eagerly patted the seat beside him, sounding more like a teenager than a teacher. You scooted over to his side as he brought out snacks, chips, and popcorn. You stared at him. "You think this is a movie?"
"It's free entertainment." He shrugged.
And the event started. You all watched on the screens as both schools fought against curses while defending their home base flag and trying to take down the enemy's flag.
Todo, of course, was on the front lines, recklessly plowing into Tokyo high's home base. Hakari, a 3rd year, was facing him off, somehow holding his ground against him.
Noritoshi was following Momo around, taking down curses and stopping the other team's students from charging in.
But before they knew it, Yuuta was on the other side, flag in his hands. It wasn't a quick match but a rather rough one. At the very least, no one was injured badly.
Your eyes watched Okkotsu’s movements. It was very obvious he was new to fighting, but his brute force of cursed energy played well to his strengths. You were looking forward to tomorrow's matches.

10 times, 1 occasion - Inumaki Toge
4. Tending
A/N: oop i'm on a roll rn with two chapters in two days in a row. the next one is probably going to take a while but seriously I'm so happy with all the support, it keeps me going. this is teeth rotting fluff, so enjoy! ~g
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
No matter how many times he was reminded that you were okay, Toge would rather die before leaving your bedside. He watched over you, in his navy sweats and Jujutsu Tokyo Tech gray pullover sweatshirt, taking a few showers to change back into the same clothes. He cooked ramen and onigiri balls in the common kitchen down the hall. He only left for more than ten minutes to visit Fushiguro, who met the same fate as you, but left you with Maki or Panda, even Gojo if he was around and no one else was available.
The latter liked drawing things on your expensive drawing paper with the expensive ink you so hoarded from others and placing them on the board by your desk, next to Post-It notes wishing you well from fellow Tokyo Tech students, and Kyoto students alike. Kamo had wished you a speedy recovery and flattering words on your technique, Miwa left a well-wishes message with hearts drew on and Todo wrote that he lamented your injury because your taste in women was far beyond better than the rest of your fellow classmates, except for Itadori, and complimented your ‘Tina Snow’ Megan Thee Stallion poster.
Once again, while placing a damp, cold towel on your forehead, Toge sighed deeply, cleaning away the fever you were sweating. You breathed through your mouth, nose, cheeks, and lips settling in a darker red color by the heat you emanated. Shoko healed you and Megumi just perfect, but as a difference, your body wasn’t reacting well to the invasion. Still, Inumaki diligently took care of your every need while you slept for the past three days, fighting the urge to command for you to wake up, and watch those lively eyes flutter open while a smile blossoms on your cheeks. They were waiting for you to continue the goodwill event officially after the “minor” issue with the special grades.
It was late in the afternoon, the orange sun leaking through the blinds. Toge set his book down for a second and stared at you. You looked so serene, so calm and peaceful for the first time in the past few days, whereas you looked agitated and distressed in your slumber. He leaned down and kissed your forehead. You shuffled happily in your sleep and laid even deeper into your bedsheets.
“Wow! This room is so cool!” Itadori gasped as he passed the doorframe. Toge narrowed his eyes but still stood up to greet the first years. “How come my room doesn't look like this?!”
Your room was cozy. The color scheme was warm; your walls were a very light beige, your bed was composed of a terracotta-colored duvet, light pink bed sheets, and a white throw blanket. The nightstand was a yellow bookshelf with a lamp on top, a framed picture resting there, along with your phone. Your desk was yellow as well with a bulletin board on the wall in front of it. On the desk rested some plants, an assortment of drawing, painting, and coloring supplies, aside from a Bluetooth speaker that resembled an old radio. The wall behind your bed was full of posters of artists and movies, and artwork that either you painted or you commissioned. By the window, there was a light moss green couch with different pillows, and a lavender purple throw Inumaki used to wrap himself in when he napped. He sat next to your bed on a light pink office chair he positioned on the empty space between your closet and your bed. It was a colorful room, to say the least.
“Because you’re a man, Yuuji” Nobara rolled her eyes and walked towards your bed, combing her fingers through your hair to brush it slightly. She fluffed the pillows behind your head and fixed the collar of the silk pajamas you wore specifically made for when injured. Maki spoke so highly of you, Nobara wanted to treat you her best, because she knew you deserved it.
“How is she?” Megumi asked Inumaki. Nobara and Itadori were both snooping around the room. Yuuji browsed the bookshelf with a frown, while Kigusaki looked through your cosmetics bag before heading to the bathroom, which stood to the door on the left when one entered the room, talking about checking out your skincare routine.
“Tuna” He signaled his phone and got to typing. Soon, Megumi’s phone buzzed. Itadori rushed over to read the text over his shoulder, Kugisaki on her tippy toes to read from his other shoulder as well.
[ Inumaki Toge: they’re okay. shoko said they’ll wake up soon enough. probably just drained ]
“So you’ve been here with her all these past few days? All the time?” Kugisaki asked.
Toge nodded, shifting comfortably on the seat “Shake” He confirmed.
“Aww! I wish I had a partner like you!” Nobara sighed dreamily. Toge froze. His jaw clenched and his eyes widened to almost hit every corner of his face. As if it was even possible, he turned paler. He could feel his heartbeat drumming in his ears. Partner? Your partner? Why would anyone think that? You were just a friend… unless you didn’t want to be. A friend he had strong feelings for. A friend he had its own pet name for. A friend he loved. Oh my. His face went from paperwhite to a bright red, as he once again zipped up the collar of his shirt to cover his lower half.
“Look what you did, Nobara! You broke him!” Itadori shook her, while Inumaki stared blankly at the floor. Fushiguro realized Kugisaki had touched a nerve since the attraction between the two of you was so apparent, everyone had seen you two laugh together incessantly, hold hands, hug each other often, and damn, he even had a word in his vocabulary to refer to you specifically. He pointed with his head to the door and the three left silently for a second. Inumaki watched them leave and sighed into his hands. That was frustrating.
You shuffled in your sleep slightly, Toge’s attention turning to you quickly, standing upright from his chair to look as you fluttered your eyes to stare back at him. Just as he expected, a smile arose from your mouth as soon as you noticed him there, before you went into a coughing fit. He panicked and took a few steps towards your yellow mini-fridge, scouting for a bottle of water, which he found soon enough. He held the bottle for your mouth, with which you gladly took in and drank all the water in a matter of seconds. He cleaned your wet cheeks and sat at the foot of the bed carefully, as you tried to sit upright without disturbing your wound.
“Kelp” He greeted you, with his usual fondness towards you and a smile he tried to hide.
“Hello, Inumaki-kun” You rasped with a blush on your cheeks, coughing slightly before smiling at him. “Don’t worry, I’m here; I’m okay”
He sighed deeply and the weight on his shoulders he didn’t even realize he had lifted. He now knew that you were okay. His heart fluttered in his chest as you reached out your hand, urging him to get close to you. Once he did, you combed your hand through the gray strands, making him melt into your touch.
He leaned to lay down by your side. “How’s everyone? What time is it? How long have you been here?” You bombarded him with questions he was more than glad to answer.
Toge just looked at you briefly before grabbing his phone. He typed something and soon your phone vibrated next to you on your nightstand.
[ Inumaki Toge: everyone is ok. ]
[ fushiguro had the same cursed buds as you in his stomach, he’s fine now and i think in the hallway. ]
[ it’s 5:30 PM. i’ve been here the last 3 days you’ve been unconscious ]
You stared at the messages in shock “You’ve been here three days? You seriously didn’t have to, I was asleep”
“Okaka'' Toge shook his head with a frown. He typed something else. [ Inumaki Toge: i was worried about you. besides, you kept sweating, i had to level your temperature often because of the fevers ]
Your eyes watered as Toge’s widened. He panicked. Had he said something wrong? Did you get the wrong undertone from his texts? If that was it, should he start to use tone indicators? “Thank you” You sniffled “You didn’t really have to take care of me”
Right now, he really wished to speak to you clearly, so you really knew what he meant. “Tuna Mayo” He was only able to mutter before reaching to caress your back as quiet tears flowed down your cheeks. Soon enough, your phone vibrated.
[ Inumaki Toge: i got you your favorite tea :)) chai with a touch of nutmeg and lavender ]
“Aw…” You smiled “Thank you” You sighed deeply, the usual warmth spreading across your chest. The one that came whenever he bought you something or gave you a hug, or a brief touch.
[ i’ll go heat it up, okay? stay put ]
He removed his arm from your healthy side, and slipped out of the bed comfortably, removing the collar of his neck to kiss your forehead. I love you.

felicitate. five.
four < current > six
Sept. 2017
“God, what did you pack? You know we’re only in Kyoto for the weekend,” Maki complains, but still grabs the duffel that sits on top of the suitcase you drag behind yourself. You just stick your tongue out at her; it’s not your fault Maki can’t appreciate good fashion sense.
“You won’t complain when you rip your tights and need a replacement,” You sing-song. Ijichi just dropped off your human classmates at the station where you would take the train to Kyoto. Panda, Yaga, and Satoru were traveling separately, which meant the four of you were left unsupervised. Maki had taken the role of herding everyone through the crowds and staying on time.
You all were to be in Kyoto by eleven and starting the Goodwill Event by one p.m.. Which meant you’ve been up since six in the morning and have chugged an appropriate amount of coffee for such a day. Even now you were carrying a to-go cup. “God, I’m so ready to kick Momo’s ass. Can you believe she called me tacky? Ugh,” you complain.
“Fish flakes?”
“Yes! It was the last time I had to visit Principal Yoshinobu and she called my sunglasses - these! - tacky,” You pout and gesture to the offending heart-shaped glasses that sit on top of your head. “I hope the individual event gives me a chance to fight her.”
“Individual event?” Yuta perks up from where he had been walking silently on the edge of your group. “I don’t actually know how this whole thing is meant to work….”
“Oh! Well, there’ll be an individual event and then a team event with each school being together. There’s no guarantee what the events will be though, since each year the principals just put their ideas in a hat and draw at random.”
Maki adds, “It’s important to do well since this is one of the few chances sorcerers get to demonstrate their techniques. It’s the fastest way to get recommendations.”
“Salmon.” By now, your group has settled onto the train. You sit next to Maki with Inumaki and Yuta sitting together across the aisle. You wriggle in your spot, getting comfortable for the next two hours. Maki plans to sleep but you’re far too caffeinated to try.
When the train is only ten minutes from the station, you push past Maki to freshen up in the bathroom. Coming back, you trip slightly over a stray backpack in the aisle. A strange pair of hands keep you from falling by grabbing around your waist.
“Woah there, pretty lady! That’s not the way I wanted you to fall for me,” the man doesn’t seem too much older than you but definitely too old to be hitting on a highschooler. You scrunch your nose at his pick-up line. “Do you speak Japanese?” He asks slowly in English, mistaking your distaste for confusion.
“Oh no. American, am I. Traveling,” You flash a smile and move to brush past him. Hopefully he’ll leave you alone if he thinks he can't communicate with you. You make eye contact across the train with Maki and make the universal girl code for ‘help,’ featuring a slight widening of your eyes. She moves to come rescue you, but before she arrives the man speaks again, pulling your attention away.
“Aw, do you need someone to show you around?” He continues to speak in English and you curse yourself for tripping over probably one of the few fluent people on the train. You feel another arm reach around your shoulder and you turn, fully prepared to lose your patience. Your mouth snaps shut when you see it’s Yuta’s arm.
“Thank you for finding our foreign exchange student. Unfortunately it’s time for us to go.” He smiles in an expression you don’t think you’ve ever seen on his face. It sends a chill down your spine; he looks ready to push through the man if he doesn’t step down. You lean closer into his body.
“What school are you with?”
Yuta’s eyes darken. “I don’t see why you need that information. Now, if you’ll excuse us.” Yuta lightly pulls you away and hands you over to Maki, who drags you back to your seat. Inumaki quietly asks if you’re okay and you nod. Yuta follows after you and grabs the duffel that Maki helped you carry onto the train. He moves in violent jerks and doesn’t speak.
Once the four of you are off the train and Maki starts looking for your driver, you tug Yuta to the side. “Thank you for back on the train. I appreciate you stepping in, some guys just don’t take the hint I guess.” He just nods. “Hey, keep some of that aggression for tonight. Tokyo needs to win this year!” He cracks a small smile at your attempt to cheer him up. You keep hold of his hand and walk over to where Inumaki and Maki are waving you two over. Inumaki claps Yuta on the shoulder and the two share a smile when you greet the driver, not noticing how you still hold Yuta’s hand.
The drive from the station to the school is short. When you arrive, more assistants appear to take your luggage straight to the rooms you will be staying in. One of them informs you that rooms will be shared and split by gender and while you don’t mind sharing a room with Maki, you know it was done as a slight. The Kyoto way: tiny things to irritate you, but none so big you could actually call them on it.
You all are led to where the other group has been waiting for your arrival. Satoru questions you about the trip and you reassure him there was no danger. There’s no need to tell him about the creep, it’d just upset him. “Why are we having to wait in here?” You ask, after five minutes of idle conversation.
“Yoshinobu is in a meeting with the other geezers,” Satoru answers.
“Ugh, they set the timeline. Why make a schedule if you won't respect it?” You groan and prop your feet up on the table. “What suggestions did you put in this year, Yaga-san?” You lazily roll your head over to look at him.
“(y/n), you know we are not allowed to divulge that information to students beforehand.”
“He put in a tournament for the single’s event and a curse-exorcism relay race for the team event,” your brother answers. Inumaki laughs at the easy dismissal of your principal.
“Oh, fuck ye-,” your excited yell gets interrupted by the door being flung open by Utahime. You cut yourself off and stand hastily to greet her.
“It’s good to see you again, Utahime-sensei.” You bow, leading your other classmates to follow your lead.
“Thank you for the proper greeting, Gojo-san. Nice to be reminded all hope is not lost.” You both pointedly ignore Satoru’s background whines about how neither of you use formalities with him. “I will be taking you to meet my students. If you would follow me,” She gestures to the hallway and you once more take the lead, with a single-file line of sorcerers behind you.
You feel yourself stiffen with irritation when you notice how you’re meeting the Kyoto students at the exact spot in the courtyard you had arrived. If they didn’t insist on such pointless niceties, the events could have already begun. At least you are able to recognize half of the students you will be competing with, though you notice they are lacking in third-years. After tense greetings, you decide to ask where they are.
“Unfortunately, our senpais were called to an urgent mission. It seems this year’s competition will be focused on the first- and second- years,” Noritoshi Kamo answers. No doubt this was planned by the higher-ups. They likely want to see how you fare in a fight with the next clan head. You have some experience with verbally battling him over clan-meetings but have never had the chance to actually fight. You’re curious about his technique; you know enough to understand why it's highly respected.
You answer with a simpering smile, “Then let us do our best, Kamo-senpai.”

Past, Present, Future
Starring: Yuuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, Reader, Sukuna
Pairing: Satoru Gojo/Reader
Warnings: Cheating is mentioned, Satoru might be ooc
A/N: I don’t condone cheating. I wanted this fic to be light and fun but it turned out a bit differently. I hope you enjoy it anyway! Also, in this fanfic, Satoru was an a** when he was younger.
It was not their fault they thought their sensei was single. While beautiful, Gojo was so immature that it was hard to imagine him with someone. This person deserves a trophy for being able to put up with the ball of energy and immaturity that was Gojo Satoru. Besides,...after the Kyoto Goodwill event, they heard some...ahem...interesting rumours concerning the white head. Apparently, their beloved idiotic sensei cannot settle down. There were so many rumours surrounding the strongest; some were hard to believe because of their level of ridiculousness, others were not so hard to believe because...well...it is Gojo Satoru. He could make anything possible. One of them, while ridiculous, seems highly probable. It was Utahime-sensei who told them about it when they pestered her about Gojo-sensei in his adolescent years. They wanted to be able to relate to him a little bit more. What they heard though, left their mind reeling with questions.
"Gojo-sensei dated more than twenty girls in a month?!"
That sounded so ridiculous, cruel, and impossible. However, Utahime was not one to lie or slander one's reputation like that. Even if it was someone as annoying as Gojo. After that, they were unable to picture their sensei as the type to settle down. It was just impossible. Even if that little anecdote was years ago, as Megumi specified to his friends. It was possible that Gojo changed and was not the same man anymore. But the other two’s minds were set on the fact that their sensei is a player. Or a serial-dater. Although, they have yet to catch him in the act. As of right now, they haven’t seen Gojo with anyone. Maybe Utahime did exaggerate his reputation a little after all. But their curiosity was already set. They wanted to catch their sensei in the act. So, they decided to trail their sensei when the latter was seen heading out in casual clothing and his horrible out-of-style glasses. Kugisaki sighed in despair when seeing the infamous pair of glasses on his face. She was persuaded that he couldn’t be heading out on a date with this offending accessory.
Low and behold, they were able to trail Satoru without getting busted yet. Their training with the second-year students must have paid off! Or so the three ‘spies’ thought. Truthfully, Satoru noticed them a while ago. Actually, it was as soon as they left the school. But he thought their little game was amusing so he let it go on. After all, it wasn’t like he was trying to hide where he was going. If he was, he would have teleported to the alley near the cafe he loves to go to. Just thinking about the cafe and the sweets which they sell makes him salivate. He couldn’t wait to go and try out the new Friday special. So, with a new spring in his step, completely forgetting about his poor students who didn’t have long legs like his, he practically jogs to his favourite cafe, the new sweets calling for him. The three students curse as they are forced to practically run to catch up with their excited sensei. In their mind, Gojo was late as usual, and to not make his date angry, he was hurrying to their meeting place. An angry woman is scary. The proof of that statement lies in Kugisaki and Maki-senpai. Both were scary when angered.
The little cafe was quiet. There were not many people dining in. In fact, it was a perfect place to have a date in, Yuuji noted. Particularly if you don’t want to get caught dating multiple girls at the same time. Luckily for the three of them, the windows were see-through. They could easily see inside as their sensei plops down on one of the comfortable seats. Immediately, a waitress comes and takes his order. Yuuji and Nobara squint as they try to somehow decipher the exchange between the waitress and Gojo.
‘‘Do you know what they are saying?’’
‘‘Of course not you idiot! They are too far.’’
The only proof of Gojo being on a date will have to be to see someone sit across Gojo then. The three of them desolate over that fact. Knowing their sensei, it could take forever before they realise he is, in the end, not on a date.
‘‘I don’t think he is on a date.’’
Nobara and Yuuji look at Fushiguro with question marks on their head. The latter sigh, before pointing at their sensei.
‘‘If he was on a date, I think the date would have been waiting for a while now. No matter the circumstances, Gojo-sensei is always late.’’
‘‘Don’t you think he would try to make an exception for a date?’’, Yuuji ponders.
‘‘If he is dating around, I don’t think so. He could care less if he is on time.’’ After that, Nobara and Yuuji fell silent. They were losing their time after all. Sad and looking like kicked puppies at their failed mission, they were ready to head back to the campus when they noticed a young woman watching them with inquisitive eyes.
‘‘Ah, uh, we were...uh’’
Yuuiji was not making any real sense as he tried to explain why they were hiding behind the bushes in the park. He quickly relaxes as she lets out a little laugh. ‘‘I see. So you are these guys then.’’ Before they could question her on what they mean, she continued. ‘‘Do you want to come to the little cafe? It’s on me.’’
That offer sounded suspicious but they were jujutsu sorcerers in training. They were sure they could handle a civilian. She doesn’t seem to have any curse energy. And if she was indeed linked to the group of curses after Yuuji, they could always count on their sensei who was currently typing on his phone. The woman’s phone went off at the same moment. Multiple arrays of texts follow each other. They felt sympathy for her phone as it seems to be getting bombarded by numerous texts. All of which she ignores as they follow her to the cafe.
The inside of the cafe was as nice as they expected, if not much better. The smell of coffee and sweets was overwhelming but in a good way. Their sensei was seated at the far back of the cafe, meaning if they were noticed, they were screwed. They couldn’t really find any explanation on why a stranger would invite them in a cafe. One that is coincidentally the same as their sensei. Before they could steer away from the back though, the woman grabbed their shoulders and gently pushed them towards where their teacher was sitting. The latter was frowning at his phone, typing some more before the woman made her presence known.
‘‘I’m here. There’s no need to send me multiple messages again.’’
Rolling her eyes, she pushed the three frozen students in front of him. ‘What is happening,’ is the only thought ringing in their minds as their teacher waved at them, grinning widely.
‘‘Oh? You found my beloved students?’’
‘‘They were hanging around in the bushes. You could have invited them in, instead of just sitting and dreaming about all the cavities you will get.’’
The woman sits in front of their teacher as the three young adolescents sit near her. They didn’t really understand the peculiar situation anymore. ‘Was this woman dating sensei?’ ‘She is far too nice to be dating him.’ ‘Oh no! She must not know about sensei’s reputation!’ These were the thoughts that simultaneously rang in their heads. One thing for sure, they had to warn her. She was nice enough to invite them on their date, they felt that she didn’t deserve the heartbreak. In fact, no woman deserved to be heartbroken by the cruelty of their sensei.
The couple were discussing their respective days while waiting for the sweets Satoru ordered earlier. Both seemed to be on good terms, laughing at each other’s jokes. They were in all, having a good time. Yuuji felt guilty. What if in the end, Gojo-sensei was serious about her? But knowing their sensei, he had so many secrets that they felt they must at least tell her about Gojo’s habits.
‘‘So...Uhm...Miss?’’
‘‘Ah. How rude of me! I didn’t introduce myself, did I? I’m (Y/N). You can just call me that. I don’t mind.’’
Her smile was so sweet that Kugisaki felt it was her duty to kick Gojo if he was indeed playing around.
‘‘How did you two meet? Are you a sorc- oof’’
The kick in the angle was by Megumi. The gloomy boy glared at Yuuji while drinking his drink silently.
‘‘Funny thing is, we actually met when we were in high school. I didn’t go to that fancy school of yours though. I went to an all-girl school. I was in dire need of some sweets when we ran into each other and I spilled his drink. All over myself.’’
She glared at Gojo who only smiled innocently. He was not innocent, however. The students knew why the drink was only spilled on her while he remained spotless.
‘‘And then did you start dating since then?’’
‘‘No. I hated him.’’
That statement did not surprise any of them. Gojo feigned hurt while he clutched onto his shirt.
‘‘How could you hate me?! I am as sweet as a strawberry cake!’’
‘‘Maybe if someone poisoned it. Then yes. You would be the strawberry cake.’’
The students watched them banter back and forth.
‘‘Then...when did you start dating?’’
‘‘Hmm...When did we start dating Satoru?’’
‘‘After I declared my love for you during our third meeting anniversary of course!’’
The students sweat-dropped. That sounds like something Satoru would do.
‘‘But then...what about all the girls Utahime-sensei said you were dating? The twenty girls in a month?’’
Both Megumi and Nobara froze. As soon as the shock from Yuuji’s bluntness faded, they stomped on his feet. He winces at that. Even Sukuna, who didn’t mean to spy on them, but was curious about the annoying sorcerer let out a sigh at the lack of tack of his vessel.
Satoru’s smile seemed frozen on his face. Nobody moved as they waited for the young woman’s reaction. The waitress brought in the sweets at that exact moment but no one dared to dig in the delicious food. Finally,
‘‘Oh, that. Yeah. I knew about it. Although it wasn't really twenty. It was five girls. He thought he was so slick with it too. He dated one of my ex-friends. I’m pretty sure you forgot about her though.’’
‘‘Ah...uh...I can’t remember…’’
Satoru seemed sheepish and awkward. Such a strange and alien sight of their always composed sensei.
‘‘Of course, you wouldn’t. You dated so many people I’m surprised they never found out. I would have slapped you if I was one of them. You got off easy.’’
(Y/N) drinks her coffee as if what she just said was a mere comment on the weather. Satoru glances at his girlfriend every now and then while Yuuji was feeling awful.
‘‘I am so sorry Gojo-sensei, (Y/n)-san! I shouldn’t have brought it up!’’
The female cocked her head to the side, throwing a slight smile in his way.
‘‘It’s fine Itadori-kun. It’s not like I wanted to date him back then. I told you, didn’t I? I hated him.’’
This time, it was Kugisaki who was curious.
‘‘Then, how did you and sensei date? He dated your friend right?’’
(Y/n) shrugged carelessly, digging into her cake with her fork before thrusting it in Satoru’s face. The man was far too silent for his own good.
‘‘It was into our second years of being frenemies. He was awful as you must have heard. He was a true player back then. But then, mysteriously, he cleaned up his act. He broke up with my friend and seemingly with the other girls too. I didn’t see him hanging around the city with any girls for a good year, nor did he get any calls from any one of them when we hanged out. After all of this, my friend, the one who dated him, came to meet me after class and started shouting at me. Apparently, Satoru was in love with someone for real and after some digging, she came to the conclusion that it was my fault since I knew him as well. For her, I was jealous and tried to seduce him. It was a ridiculous and frivolous idea. Or so I thought. Because a year later that dork comes and tells me he loves me.’’
Yuuji and Megumi were in awe. So, their sensei really did go and date multiple girls at once?
‘‘How were you certain he would never cheat?’’ This time it was Megumi asking the question. Surely, you must have had some reservations about dating such a character.
‘‘I was unsure of it too at first. I rejected him and stopped talking to him. He was persistent and wouldn’t stop. So I agreed to one date, which turned into multiple ones. As of now, I haven’t caught him cheating. But if he does, then I will get sad and leave him. I can’t stand cheaters. What he did is disgusting, but people do change I guess. That is, only if they really want to. A lesson for you kids. Don’t go and date someone who is horrible to you and think you can change them. In the end, only they can change themselves. They are not worth your time if they are stubborn and refuse to see the wrong in their actions.’’
She reaches over to squeeze Satoru’s hand. The latter was still quiet about it all. The silence continued even after the kids’ excused themselves, having been called back to the school by Nanami.
‘‘Aren’t you going to finish your cake? It’s your favourite, you know?’’
‘‘You know I would never cheat on you right? I was young and dumb and an asshole. And while I can’t take it back or apologise enough, I would never cheat on you.’’
(Y/n) only smiled at that. ‘‘I know. You have changed. You are not that guy anymore. You can’t change your past, but you can change your present self. I’m glad I met your students. They are a joyful bunch. When we have children one day, I hope they will be like them.’’
Satoru grinned, slowly reverting back to his old self. ‘‘I don’t know. I was thinking another me would be perfect.’’
‘‘If our child turns out like you, I’ll fear all my hair will turn as white as yours, dear. Now finish your cake. I want to go and check out that pet store you mentioned.’’
‘‘Right away, vanilla bean!’’
‘‘What did I tell you about nicknames Satoru?!’’

Team Gojo as flowers
Summary: Gojo, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara and Sukuna as types of flowers
Characters: stated above
Content warning: mild manga spoilers
Word count: -
A/N: I’d appreciate feedback here (and in general) because I’m not sure whether to do this kind of hc for other JJK characters or not. I am thinking of Toge in particular because I love my salmon boy. Also fyi, this was some time after 135 but before 140 for sure.
Gojo Satoru - Nemophila
I just saw these and immediately thought about how good they would suit him???
another name for them would be baby blue eyes (no, I had no idea beforehand)
they symbolize prosperity, victory, success or triumph over an enemy
flashback to Gojo beating Jogo tf up... but add a nemophila field in the background <3
That being said, his profile literally states that he is perfect in every way (except for his personality but we still love that, right?), so if this isn't success in every way then idk
This flower's essence is also said to be helpful for those who put up a mask over their painful sensitivity
Gojo also displays characteristics of cynism and mistrust towards the higher-ups
Furthermore, I think he is a little anti-social - doesn't have a lot of friends. As someone from the secret Jujutsu World, he's bound to be hidden in a way. This is enforced by the fact that he is the strongest, so a lot of people and curses are out to get his head. I'd think he doesn't keep anyone too close to him so that they do not become a target for anyone. Must be traumatizing to be him.
This flower helps soothen the soul's conflict, healing it slowly, which is exactly what Gojo needs imo
it really is the perfect flower for him
but it's native to North America
Yeah, watch him teleport there to bring back a bouquet of them for his s/o
Itadori Yuji - Protea (orange)
This kind of flower comes in many different shapes, which is why it's a symbol of transformation, which is exactly what Yuji embodies by going from a regular human being to being a Jujutsu sorcerer
Diversity: Yuji is open to anything, Gojo even described him as "having a few screws loose up there". I don't even think he questions how he is being taught by Gojo or anything for that matter?
Yuji also embodies courage and is known to be daring and i don't think i need to explain this one further
I mean, the boy literally jumped right into a curse to rescue Sasaki and Iguchi and help Megumi while not even knowing what a curse is
Orange proteas represent cheerfulness, joy and happiness - if that isn't our sunshine boy, then idk. After what happened to Junpei, he seemed a little down at first but recent episodes have shown that he will not slow down because of that and will keep on being the energetic fluffball of joy that he is.
moreover, they also symbolize unlimited possibilities as his cursed technique so far probably isn't even his final technique yet - compared to Nobara's hammer and Megumi's shikigami. All we know is that Sukuna's techniques are going to be his over time but we don't even know the full extent of the said curse's power yet
If anyone ever mentioned all this to him and showed him the flower, he would think it looks weird at first but will grow to find it interesting (especially the shape). It's not like the flower is native to Japan, so he most likely wouldn't have seen it anywhere.
Gets really excited if you were to give this baby one of these flowers
Fushiguro Megumi - Anemone (purple)
hear me out
The most common symbol for the purple Anemone is 'protection against evil'. While it's Megumi's primary focus in his line of work as a professional, you ought to know he became a sorcerer in the first place because of his sister, Tsukimi.
Fragility: While Megumi shows a lot of potential for growth, it's also said that he will most likely stagnate due to the mental aspect. He's pretty insecure about his own abilities and doesn't think much of himself but that doesn't mean he won't use his powers in order to protect someone.
Anticipation: As previously stated, Megumi shows a lot of potential as a sorcerer, even to the point that Sukuna (mind you, the creature that only cares about himself) has praised him and will not hesitate to make Megumi a pawn to whatever his big, mysterious plans may be. With that being said, if Sukuna himself is interested in our blue-haired boy, we can anticipate great things from Megumi in the foreseeable future.
This specific flower seems to be a double-edged sword in terms of symbolism. In some cultural circles, it is believed to be a symbol of bad luck, whereas in other areas it's seen as a lucky charm (in which we hope this is the one for our boy). I see the same principle applying to Megumi's descent and his mysterious technique - not gonna elaborate further though (feel free to ask though)
a rather dark symbol for this particular flower: "death of a loved one". In this case, I am referring to Tsukimi, his step-sister. She may not be dead but it is indicated that she is in a comatose state due to being cursed. It seems that Megumi does not know when - or rather whether - she will wake up or not. Knowing this boy, he probably has tried anything and everything in his power to wake her up (hell, he probably even consulted Gojo) but nothing worked so far. This poor boy is anxious about it all the time.
he's surprised anyone would even associate him with flowers but wouldn't mind it
Kugisaki Nobara - Orchid (mainly orange)
I had some trouble finding something for her but orchids seem to suit her best
couldn't really pick a particular color though but I am leaning towards orange
orange orchids represent: pride, enthusiasm and boldness
Nobara is very proud of who she is. She strikes me as a person who is not afraid to tell her story, even though she despices the countryside where she is from. She also takes pride in staying true to herself all the time, to the point of admitting that she only enrolled in Jujutsu High so that she could move to Tokyo to Yuji, who was basically a stranger at that time
She is also very enthusiastic about her own future. She knows she won't ever like having to exorcise curses but somehow, being a Jujutsu sorcerer excites her.
plus points for her being enthusiastic about winning in the Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc and just beating up the Kyoto students
I don't need to mention her being enthusiastic about shopping and sightseeing in big cities, do I?
Bold? Oh, she is bold. She has no filter when it comes to speaking her mind and would never hesitate to put anyone in their place. I see her going places in Gojo's revolution... and cussing at the superiors.
Yellow symbolizes new beginnings and friendships. Nobara does not have any problems making new friends, she adapts fairly well in new environments. There's also the way she mourned for Yuji, despite "only knowing him for two weeks" and I don't even doubt for a second that it was her making him hold the black funeral picture frame when he came back lol
Pink: grace, femininity, joy + purple: royalty and admiration
There is no doubt that Nobara tries to enjoy her life to the fullest *cough* moving to Tokyo
Moreover, there is something about her that just screams "queen behavior" to me and I don't even mean that in the slang sense. Have you all seen how graceful this girl moves? (I would like to thank MAPPA at this point)
Nobara shows respect where it's due - I'm just gonna mention Maki here - but is a very admirable girl herself
probably has an orchid plant in her room, ngl
Ryomen Sukuna - Snapdragon
please, the name already sounds a little dangerous
This flower shares a certain character trait with him: being unique
Snapdragons are usually associated with strength due to the way they even grow in rocky areas and if that's not screaming Sukuna's name, who is all about strength, then correct me
Deviousness is practically Sukuna's second name, so this symbol isn't exactly off the track either. Let me remind you about the way Sukuna and Mahito laughed at Yuji??
Graciousness: just like Nobara, he possesses some sort of grace that makes me percept him as a majestic being
but maybe that's just his throne of bones and title as King of Curses contributing
and him owning a shrine???
or maybe that is just the way he majestetically killed that special grade lol
"Only large insects like bumblebees can pollinate snapdragons because the petals are too heavy for smaller insects to push apart." I read this and if you reverse it a little, it somehow reminded me of the fact that Sukuna's fingers need to have a powerful vessel aka small fry won't do because they will simply die away.
Deception: despite being given the minimum amount of information about Sukuna in general, I just don't see him being anything but egoistic and evil. I just cannot picture it. So yeah, put everything evil in a pot, stir a little and don't be surprised if your result is not the Powerpuff girls but a four-eyed multi-talented and deceptive curse that is out to kill you for fun

INUMAKI TOGE || PRETTY
| featuring : inumaki toge from jujutsu kaisen
| warnings : grammar errors, but other than that n/a
| form : imagine
| word count : 1282
| published : 29 december
| request : hi! i would like to order an imagine for inumaki where he says a non onigiri related sentence to the reader for the first time :D ah but you can also skip this if youd like because i think i remember you saying that inumaki was a hard character! i hope u have an amazing day/night <3
| barista’s notes : i hate you all...you didn’t tell me that episode 120 of Black Clover was this emotional...guys it made me cry ffs....i hate you all ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ but what i wanted to say was that this imagines curse technique was inspired but Bleach (my favourite anime of all time) and their use of Kido - which is kind of like spells they use during battle - and the name and number is the same as in the anime and this was because i was watching a fight scene from bleach once again while writing this ʕ ㅇ ᴥ ㅇʔ other than that, i hope you enjoy your cup of classic black coffee (jujutsu kaisen request!) and you’re welcome to come again anytime soon!
With the sunshine trying to peek through the branches, you as well as other second years were walking around the premise of the school, taking a short break from the training that you were all doing with both Fushiguro Megumi and Kugisaki Nobara for to Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event to prepare for the team battle that going to happen on the first day.
“Y/N, are you okay? You have been in a daze since we started this walk,” someone suddenly asked, causing you to look away from all the tall trees that covered the sky to the girl with the high ponytail, who was looking at you with a concerned look on her face.
“Leaf Mustard?” Inumaki then questioned, leading you to realise that they were actually worried. Wanting to put them at ease, you quickly put a small but gentle smile on your face and waved your hand up and down to wave them off, “yeah, yeah, I’m fine guys don’t worry. I’m just a bit tired from training,” you said in a calm tone leading to both Maki and Inumaki to smile back at you as a sign of relief.
“I can’t really blame you, you did use a lot of curse energy to train those two idiots, but don’t push too hard, we need you for the individual battle against Todo on the second day since Okkotsu isn’t here,” Panda explained, causing you to look down to the stone pavement as you began to ponder what Panda had just said.
Panda was right, you couldn’t use up all your curse energy right now since you were one of the sorcerers that could even take on Todo for the individual battle that was happening on the second day of the event. However, unlike your senior, you were just a grade one sorcerer like Todo meaning you were the strongest student within the Tokyo side right now.
Breathing out a huge sigh, you looked back up to your classmates before quickly mentioning with an annoyed tone, “ahhh I don’t want to see that fool again, I don’t want to even fight him, what a pain,” leading to both Maki and Panda laughing at you knowing what was going on your mind.
Even though you were in the Tokyo end of the schools and the complete opposite of his type, for some odd reason Todo had a well-known crush on you ever since you had helped him defeat the curses during the attack that Geto launched in Kyoto and now you were just stuck in that whole different situation...even though you had a crush on a different person.
Slyly looking over to the cursed speech sorcerer, you couldn’t help but start to wonder if he had the same feeling as you did - and to be honest, you had no single clue. However, knowing how Inumaki was as a person, he probably just saw you as his friend due to his caring and protective personality traits.
You and Inumaki met at around the same time when you both started at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College and became really close the second you both started getting to know each other. From the light conversations to planning different pranks, as time went on, you began to realise that your face would always have a light pale pink flush every time you would talk to him as well as your heart rate going a little faster than it originally should. What had done it for you finally was when Okkotsu came into the classroom with Rika and Inumaki immediately stood in front of you even though he knew that you were capable of defending yourself from the curse.
“Well maybe if I use my domain expansion-” you quietly muttered causing Maki to suddenly interrupt you.
“Y/N that will kill him,”
“But that was my plan,” you answered back with a pout, causing everyone to laugh at your joke before all of you continued walking before you all started to wonder where both Fushiguro and Kugisaki were.
ꕥ
‘I am going to kill this bastard’
“Curse spell number four: Hainawa!” you yelled out, causing your curse energy to form a bright cracking rope around your arm - somewhat resembling lightning - before your fling your right arm towards the direction of the Grade one sorcerer that you and the second years were gossiping a few minutes ago, leading to the brightly lit rope to wrap itself upon Todo, halting his movement completely before he falls down onto the wooden platform he was standing on.
Walking towards the fallen sorcerer, you began to click your knuckles as if you were ready to physically beat the large man before placing your foot on top of his head to press his face further onto the ground.
“Now,” you started with a menacing tone before continuing with, “since you caused my junior’s head to bleed, should I cut your whole head off first?” leading to Panda, Inumaki and even Fushiguro to shiver at your deadly and frightening presence that was in front of them.
“Tuna tuna,” Inumaki quickly said as he raised his arms up and down as a way to mention you to calm down to which you instantly did the minute you looked at him directly in the eye, only to quickly turning your head the other face the way to avoid him seeing any rose hues that may sudden paint themselves on your cheeks.
Slowly taking your foot off from Todo’s head, you quickly made your way towards Fushiguro and crouched down to his level. “Are you able to get up Megumi?” you asked kindly to which Fushiguro nodded at you before you slowly helped him up and passed the young jujutsu sorcerer to Panda, so he would get to the infirmary a bit quicker.
Suddenly, you felt a slight tap on your shoulder, leading you to turn to look over your shoulder to see Inumaki place his two index fingers on his cheek which caused you to instantly blush at the adorable sight.
‘Damn it..why do you have to be so adorable Toge?’
Once again, he pressed his cheeks as if what he was interpreting was not understood by you. After tilting your head to the side in confusion as you couldn’t understand what he was trying to do, you unexpectedly saw his two fingers reach over to your face before feeling them being placed at the corner of your lips. Starting to blush profusely by his actions, you suddenly felt your lips being lifted up to form a smile on your face.
“Are...are you telling me to smile, Toge?” you confusingly asked in a struggle since your lips were still being pushed together due to Toge’s fingers still being on the corners to force the smile you were wearing now. Nodding at your question, Inumaki moved his fingers away leading to the drop of your artificial smile before you quickly replaced it with a real smile that he was so desperate to see.
“Pretty!” Inumaki cheerfully commented, causing you to look at him with widened eyes which now, in turn, confused the speech curse user. “You...You said ‘pretty’ Toge, that is not an onigiri ingredient!” you shouted as you grabbed his shoulders before looking left and right to see if anything was going to happen since you knew the effect of his curse technique.
However, all you heard was laughter causing you to turn to him once again to see him with a joyful expression on his face. You look at the boy for a second before beginning to laugh yourself.
“Ah what are you talking about Toge? You’re the pretty one here!”

— JUJUTSU KAISEN EPISODE TEN || IDLE TRANSFIGURATION
↳ featuring : fushiguro megumi + kugisaki nobara + zenin maki + inumaki toge + panda + ieiri shoko from jujutsu kaisen
↳ warnings : EXTREME grammar issues
↳ form : story
↳ published : 11 march
↳ pronouns : she/her
↳ word count : 1,8k
↳ synopsis : within the jujutsu world, there were three famous clans to be aware of, the Kamo clan, Zenin clan and the Gojo clan. However, unknown to many sorcerers there was one last family that was known to be apart of the three, only for them to disappear after the golden era leading some to speculate that they had died in battle after the sealing of ryomen sukuna, but....
↳ previous episode : small fly and reverse retribution
↳ next episode : narrow-minded
↳ barista’s notes : let me admit, it’s getting a bit difficult to write the series because the episodes in the anime does not match with Y/N’s timeline/story right now since Itadori and her are in two completely different situations, but i am trying my best ╲ʕ·ᴥ· ╲ʔ i hope you enjoy today’s episode even though, once again, it isn’t that interesting at all to be honest... but at least nanami will appear in the next one!
BEFORE READING, I NEED YOU TO BE AWARE OF THIS:
1. the whole story belongs to Gege Akutami and the credits go to them and them only.
2. the spell curses used belong to Tite Kubo due to them being the ‘Kidos’ being used on the manga and anime ‘Bleach’ - but none is mentioned in this chapter.
2.5 for the ‘cursed spells’/kidos (bleach) i will link this video here and tell you the time stamp to check out what i am intending to show - remember i add a few twist here and there by adding the katana to link with Y/N’s cursed technique
no cursed spells used this episode..
3. if you are confused on anything, please don’t hesitate to message me since i know this whole thing is so confusing.
“Y/N has been sleeping a lot lately, don’t you think?” Zenin asked curiously, as she looked towards the direction of where you were, which was under the usual tree at the track field that you were peacefully sleeping under with your track top used as a pillow for the time being.
“Kelp,” Inumaki replied, as he was also looking at your direction with his classmate while nodding his head in agreement - he was worried since it seemed like everyone was tiring you out due to the 5 vs 1 practice matches they would do…with you being the sole target that no one could defeat yet.
“Did we tire her out that bad? Has she been getting any sleep?” Panda continuously questioned, leading the rest of the second-years to look at you with concerned expression while the other first-years were sitting between you to keep you company after you woke up.
“It’s so boring with you, I want Y/N to wake up soon…” Kugisaki muttered as she looked down at you with a pout on her face causing her classmate to give off an irritated expression before soften up once he turned to look down at you as well.
To them both right now, you seemed to be so in peace for the first time in a while as your breathing was set at a steady and light rhythm with few spots of sunlight shone down your face due to the leave areas the leaves above you three right now, there was also no sort of hints of you having a nightmare at all, no wrinkles could be seen to indicate that there was any right now.
Fushiguro and Kugisaki couldn’t deny the fact that they both could sense that they were improving in their combat skills with you as their mentor and opponent during the practice matches since each time as each match went by, they seemed to last a second longer than they did before leading them to be motivated and encouraged by the small but satisfying achievement.
“We don’t seem to get a scratch on her though,” Fushiguro commented, as he admired your face to see no indication of you even fighting all five of Zenin, Inumaki, Panda, Kugisaki and himself, it seemed as if you didn’t even lift a single finger during training today. However, the same could be said with them since you were also practising your reversed curse technique on them ever since you had been taking lessons with Ieiri Shoko - to which you had to admit, Gojo was right when she didn’t explain the concept of the technique really well.
“Do you think we’re making her use too much of her cursed energy?” Kugisaki asked in an anxious tone, as she was concerned about the number of times you had fallen asleep during the training session during the week since you were using both some cursed energy during training as well as healing their wounds to improve your use of the reversed cursed technique that you were aiming to perfect it by the time of the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event.
“I don’t think so, she processes an immense amount of it but it’s probably because she isn’t getting enough sleep,” Fushiguro quietly answered causing Kugisaki to look up at him in confusion since even though you and her were quite close with one another, she still knew so little about you when it came to jujutsu.
Fushiguro, however, knew almost as much as he was allowed to due to Gojo’s explanation about your background the other day when he had a conversation with him.
“The L/N clan are the stability of the Jujutsu world, as much as I hold the fate of this world, Y/N is someone that can support it’s pillars to keep it up, that’s probably why the Zenin clan wanted an alliance by marriage...to obtain one or all those pillars to themselves”
Deep in thinking, Fushiguro couldn’t help but wonder what Gojo meant by those words. From what he could recall, once Gojo mentioned your role within this complex world of jujutsu sorcery, he also mentioned something that your ancestor did to make sure Ryomen Sukuna was sealed for the time being as they weren’t able to cast the cursed spell that was specifically needed to exorcise the special grade curse, yet a year ago, the phenomenon of the rumoured ‘falsified’ technique seemed to be used during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons - which lasted for only a short 0.5 seconds - leading Gojo to suspect that you had already executed something that no other sorcerer from your clan had ever achieved.
Yet, Fushiguro had no idea what it was.
However, before he could even utter out a comment to Kugisaki, from the corner of his eye he noticed something shining from the corner of your eye causing the shikigami user to turn his head slightly to have a closer look only to suddenly discover an unexpected tear swiftly rolling down to the side to which caught him by surprised.
Steadily, Fushiguro reached out his arm to wake you up from your slumber to ask what was wrong, only for someone to beat him to it as an arm with what seemed to be a white coat sleeve suddenly appeared into his view.
“Y/N, can you wake up for me?” the person asked, as they gently shook your shoulders which completely surprised Kugisaki since she was in a daze after it had gone silent between her and Fushiguro.
After a few seconds, a groan could be heard from you as you gradually opened your eyes before steadily blinking a few times to let your eyes focus on the setting in front of you only to come across Ieiri, who was looking at you with a small smile on her face while the prominent dark eye circles were completely visible to you even when you were in the tree shade.
“Shoko-san?” you quietly called out, before grudgingly sitting up as you stretch your arms to release some of the stiffness that was building up leading to the Jujutsu Tech doctor to explain the reason why she had woken you up.
“I have someone I want you to practice your technique on since you progressed a lot over the past few weeks, is that okay?” she questioned, causing you to nod and smile at her before your mind came to a sudden question that you had in mind.
“Is it really okay for me to heal the person? Wouldn’t they want you to be in their care?” you asked curiously, before covering your mouth to let out a small yawn.
“Don’t worry, I asked him if he would allow it this once and he agreed,” the doctor stated in reassurance before standing up from her crouched position that she was in. “I need you there in about a few minutes, take your time to wake yourself up,” Ieiri stated before walking away in the direction she came from to go attend the sorcerer that needed to be healed at this moment in time.
Tilting your head to the side, you felt a sudden click before doing the same to the other side to relieve some of the tension that was lingering from your sleeping position - having a track top as a pillow wasn’t as comfortable as you wanted it to be.
“Gojo, when you come back do you want to come with me to get some drinks?” Kugisaki asked with a bright smile on her face causing you to smile excitedly at her as you agreed to the invitation since you were craving orange juice quite a bit.
Standing up on your feet, you rolled your shoulders back to hear the familiar cracks that released some more firmness from your bone and muscles. However, before you could even take a step forward on going to the designated location that you needed to be, you noticed that there was someone else who was standing next to you, leading you to give a side glance to see Fushiguro ready upon his feet, while Kugisaki had already rushed to Zenin’s side.
“I’ll take you there,” Fushiguro randomly stated to you, causing you to give him a perplexed look.
“I don’t think that’s needed, I know where to go and you need to train more,” you informed the shikigami sorcerer before informing the second-years that you needed to go for some time, which they understood, as you then processed to walk in the same direction that Ieiri went. However, you didn’t expect the erratic-hair sorcerer to follow you regardless of your previous comment.
“Didn’t I say you didn’t need to take me there, you drag?” you questioned, as you continued to make your way to the infirmary only for Fushiguro to not answer you at all causing you to let out a sigh of frustration as you decided not to fight against his decision since you knew he wasn’t going to listen to you - he never did to be honest.
“Are you okay?” Fushiguro asked bluntly, leading you to once again look at your classmate in confusion since it was the most random question he could ever ask.
“Yeah, I’m fine, what’s the reason for you asking?” you commented, as you placed your hands in the pockets of your black nylon cargo joggers leading the sorcerer next to you to look at you with an expressionless look on his face.
If you were really okay, you wouldn’t have shed a tear in your sleep right? Or maybe he was overthinking it?
Fushiguro wasn’t quite sure.
Ever since you and him met, you have never shown a side of vulnerability to him at all, you have never shown a hint of fear, sadness or insecurity to him or anyone else ever from what he could remember. From Fushiguro’s perspective, one side of you was calm, supportive and intelligent due to both your knowledge of everyone’s techniques as well as your battle tactics that you can come up suddenly on the spot, the other side of you were just your moody side when you would yell at him or flick his forehead randomly to express your irritation when he wouldn’t listen to you - which he did quite often than he would like to admit.
“No reason, just worried about you,” Fushiguro mentioned, hiding his real intention of why he questioned your wellbeing, as continued to look at what was in front of him to avoid making eye contact with you since he could feel your eyes peering at him with curiosity filling them.
Sighing once again, you slap the back of his head causing him to groan since you put more strength than you intended to. “You shouldn’t worry about me Fushiguro, be selfish,” you commented before walking faster to be ahead of him, leaving him confused about what you had just mentioned to him.
“Be selfish?” Fushiguro muttered in confusion leading you to turn back to look over your shoulder before smiling at him.
“You were going to take me there right?” you asked, as you halted your movement causing the shikigami user to finally catch up to you while you had a lingering question in the back of your mind.
‘What was that dream?’

— FUSHIGURO MEGUMI || OPPOSITES DO ATTRACT
↳ featuring : fushiguro megumi from jujutsu kaisen
↳ warnings : grammar issues
↳ form : imagine
↳ published : 06 february
↳ pronouns : non specified in imagine
↳ word count : 1.2k
↳ synopsis : after training for the kyoto sister-school goodwill event, you decided to take a short break by napping in the sun until a certain someone decides to interrupt you during that time with his divine dog by his side.
↳ barista’s notes : let me admit, this imagine is a whole mess and i didn’t know what i was thinking but HEY! ╲ʕ·ᴥ· ╲ʔ why not let you experience this mess with me ha? here is a little classic black coffee (jujutsu kaisen!) on the house! please enjoy and come back soon ʕ •ᴥ•ʔゝ☆
Currently, Japan was at the time during the season where it was the late spring nearing summer meaning it was nearly time for the humidity to rise but also the multiple rainfalls to arrive leaving some residences within the country to make sure they carried an umbrella or cover of sorts within their luggage not knowing when the sunlight could turn on them.
Making sure the remaining sunlight didn’t go to waste, you were currently laying down in the middle of the track field, where you and some of your friends had trained earlier for the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event that was commencing soon leading you to take the opportunity to relax with your panther shikigamis before you were forced to get up again.
While you were resting your head on the back of one of the panthers, the other was resting its head on your outstretched legs to which provided you with some warmth away from the gentle winds that were passing by. If you had some effort, you would have summoned the rest of your shikigami to enjoy the beaming calm sunlight that was radiating to the world, but your curse energy was running now on low fuel at this moment in time due to the amount of training you did with…
“So this is where you have been?”
Slowly opening your eyes, you quickly covered them to block the rays from blinding you before slightly tilting your head to the side to find a familiar erratic-haired sorcerer looking down at you with a collected look on his face while the other face peering down to you wasn’t human, but rather a friendly black dog leading you to reach out with your other hand to caress the divine dog’s fur, who happily accepted the affection it was receiving from you.
“I don’t appreciate being ignored Y/N,” Fushiguro muttered before taking a seat next to your body while taking the chance to pet your panther shikigami causing it to purr in delight before slowly going back to sleep as it had been before.
“Sorry Megumi, but little wolfie here got my attention first,” you mentioned, before letting the shikigami walk to wherever it desired, leading the dog to carefully sniff at the other large cat that was laying on your legs causing your shikigami’s eyes to open revealing it’s beautiful marigold crystals that they were hiding before minding its business as it went back to sleep again - somewhat letting the dog continue to sniff it out, knowing it wouldn’t attack.
“Now that I think about it, it’s the first time our shikigami met ha?” you asked, as you continued to observe the two animals to which Fushiguro answered with a light ‘hm’ indicating that he agreed with you before turning to face you.
In Fushiguro’s mind, you and him were what some would say opposites and to be honest, he couldn’t really disagree with those assumptions. Fushiguro can admit he wasn’t one to be called cheerful but rather reserved with his feelings towards people while you could be called bright as well as open with some people. However, at the end of the day, you both were emotionally intelligent.
Not only your personalities were the opposite but also your curse techniques were as well. While both you and Fushiguro were users of inherited techniques, they could be somewhat called the same, it was just that he used shadows while you used light. Consequently, this cursed technique of yours led to you being continuously attacked and harassed by the three jujutsu clans wanting to buy you from your family, but the Zenins were the worst of them all.
Since Gojo managed to arrange things behind the scenes to make sure he wasn’t sold, the alternative option they had was you due to how similar your technique was but also how unknown it seemed, leading to the Zenin clan to demand you to come to their residence. However, from what he could recall from his annoying teacher, your mother was the one to refuse the payments and threats no matter how much she struggled since the disappearance of your father, who was thought to be the one with the sorcerer blood.
“If you were sold, do you think we would be like we are now?” Fushiguro suddenly asked, causing you to give him a side glance before letting out a sigh. “To be honest, I don’t think so,” you answered honestly as you slowly reached out to him leading Fushiguro to look at the outstretched hand for a quick second before tenderly taking it into his as he tightly interlocking your fingers together.
“If I was sold, I probably would have been sent to Kyoto Jujutsu Tech rather than Toyko, I probably would have tried to run away multiple of times, I probably would have hated you rather than love you like I do now,” you commented, leading to the stoic sorcerer to blush shyly at your verbal affection. “Luckily, my mother had a heart and didn’t let me go,” you murmured as you began to slowly recall your past, remembering how your mother would bring you to her tight embrace when the head of the Zenin family would scream at her for not passing you to him as well as other sorcerers who demanded her to sell you off to them.
“I hate the clans,” you absentmindedly stated.
Before Fushiguro could say something about your admission, both of you and Fushiguro heard a little yelp causing you both to suddenly turn to look at the side, only to find a little black panther running towards you leading you to put on a small smile before it suddenly climbed up your upper body as it then rested its head on your chest.
“I didn’t know you had a baby panther as a shikigami,” Fushiguro commented, as he inspected the little cat that had made itself comfortable while his divine dog took the opportunity to examine the adorable subject leading to the small cat to meow at the large dog. “I didn’t know about it either until the day I summoned the cute little thing,” you replied to your boyfriend and you began to pet the little feline causing it to cutely snuggle against your palm, greedily accepting the attention it was getting.
“Don’t you usually have your other shikigami out?” Fushiguro then questioned, as he took the opportunity to lay back on the grass - to which lead his divine dog to go by his side before resting its head on his chest - causing you to turn to look at him once again before answering in a ‘duh’ tone with, “well, I would but someone made me use all my curse energy during training today,” leading Fushiguro to stiffen up somewhat before relaxing once you used your thumb to endearingly caress the back of his hand that was still interlocked with you making him know that you were just joking with him.
“We really are opposites ha?” you rhetorically and randomly asked - surprising Fushiguro somewhat due to his exact earlier thoughts - to which lead you to begin listing everything you could from the top of your head, “shadow and light, anti-social and somewhat more social and then cats and dogs.”
“Opposites do attract Y/N,” Fushiguro quickly stated, before raising your interlocking hands to kiss the back of your hand before using it to hide his now bright rose face. Laughing at his new-found but short-lived confidence, you giggled slightly at the cute sight - almost as cute as the baby panther on your chest - before pulling your connecting hands away to fully see his flustered expression forcing him to see your gentle and kind smile.
“Opposites do attract Megumi”

FUSHIGURO MEGUMI || WITH YOU
| featuring : fushiguro megumi from jujutsu kaisen
| warnings : grammar errors, but other than that n/a
| form : imagine
| word count : 1773
| published : 05 december
| request : Can i have a regular black coffee with Megumi finding y/n crying on the bathroom floor bc she has been experiencing a burn out?🥺✨Your jujutsu kaisen writings is what keeps me sane at the moment💞😭✨
| barista’s notes : hey hey hey~ guess who is back? it’s me barista violettelueur ʕ •ᴥ•ʔゝ☆ and when i was typing this out, i was listening to ‘Lost in Paradise’ by ALI and AIKO, which all of you know, it’s jujutsu kaisen’s ending! i love it so so much ʕ→ᴥ← ʔ but lowkey, it doesn’t match the theme of this imagine here ʕ ㅇ ᴥ ㅇʔ other than that, thank you so much for loving my work and for the cup of classic black coffee order (jujutsu kaisen request!) and please come again soon!
Exhausted. Heavy. Drained. That was all you felt.
Once you were able to go through the door of your dorm room, all you wanted to do was to fall flat on to the wooden floor and lay there for who knows how long. 5 minutes? 30 minutes? An hour? Maybe even a whole day? You were just extremely exhausted. However, you knew that you had to train with your classmates for the Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event the next day, so sleeping on the cold floor was no the best option.
Slowly struggling to make your way to your bathroom, you quickly gripped onto the side of the sink so you didn’t lose your balance due to your fatigue from today’s mission that you had to go on alone. From what you could even recall for the few past weeks, you were constantly being set on different missions at random times due to the lack of sorcerers there were in the school nowadays. From your knowledge, the third years were suspended for the time being, Gojo was constantly being set out for domestic travels as well as some business behind the scenes that you weren’t informed about, Nanami reported to you that he was investigating a crime that had occurred at Kinema Cinema and the first years (your year) and the second years were training for the event, leaving you the only Grade 1 sorcerer within Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College to be set these missions that seemed to be endless at this point.
Since the beginning, you knew that this was going to be your life once you step foot into the Jujutsu Sorcerer school, but you weren’t aware of the constant hardships that were randomly going to be set out to you. Ijichi even commented that this was unusual for a first-year student like you to be sent on numerous mission like the ones you’ve completed - some even being back to back on the same day - leading him to apologies every time you would enter his car to which you would always tell him that it was never his fault - how could it be? It wasn’t his fault that the higher-ups were demanding you to go off to do these missions. You felt exceedingly guilty for making him continuously drive you around to the locations and waiting for you to finish, not even knowing if you were going to come back alive or not.
However, you couldn’t be more grateful that he was in your company during this draining time. If it wasn’t for Ijichi in your presence, you knew you would have broken down earlier than you had now.
Turning on the faucet, you immediately heard a stream of water gushing from the spout before it was slowly filling up the bowl with the clear liquid. All you wanted to do was to plant your face in and scream out all the intense pressure that has been placed upon your shoulders. Yet you knew, it wasn’t that easy. It never was.
Before you would even realise what was happening, the hand that was gripping onto the sink suddenly slipped causing the remaining strength that you had in you to disappear as your body immediately fell onto the white tiled floor.
You were at your breaking point.
You felt tears begin to uncontrollably stream down your face causing you to grip the top of your head before lacing your fingers tightly onto your hair - so tightly that you could pull out a few strands from your clasp - trying to release at least some of the pressure that was running through your veins.
Suddenly, you heard a knocking sound from the distance, for a second, distracting you from the state that you were in now. However, you didn’t answer. You didn’t have the strength to. You didn’t have the effort to tell the person to go away nor open your mouth to make a sound. The knocking still continued even with your lack of response, but still, there was no response with you.
“Y/N? Are you there?”
Megumi. Megumi was at the door. Yet you still didn’t have the effort to answer your boyfriend. You were just at the point where you were just burnt out - the higher-ups have really burned you to the point of mental and physical exhaustion.
“Y/N, your door is unlocked, I’m coming in,”
‘No...please don’t’
However, there was no use. You had already heard the click on your handle being pushed down before your door swung open, followed by the tapping of footsteps being heard as Fushiguro began to walk into your room, trying to locate where you were.
“Y/N, where are you?” Fushiguro asked in a worried tone since he was informed by Iijchi that you had returned and that you had most likely stationed yourself in your dorm room after being treated by Ieiri, due to the number of missions that you had completed today. Due to him not being able to see you for even a few weeks without you heading off somewhere, Fushiguro wanted to check up on you to make sure that you were okay and had the idea you had probably fallen asleep. Yet your figure was not on your bed, it was still neatly made from this morning and there was no sign that you had even sat on it.
Shutting his mouth, Fushiguro began to carefully listen to his surroundings trying to see if he could hear you or anything out of the ordinary in his search for you, only for him to suddenly detect the sound of water being poured or spilt causing him to turn towards the bathroom, only to discover the door opened with the faucet tap running rapidly as water began to overflow onto the ground, leading him to rush into the bathroom to turn it off.
Letting out a sigh of relief once the water stopped, he immediately turned around to find you on the ground, hands in your hair as tears flowed down your face. You looked terrible to put it into lighter terms. You looked like you’ve been through the worst wreckage. You looked like you had lost the will to even move.
Quickly crouching down to your level - ignoring the water on the ground, Fushiguro managed to carefully lift your body up before placing you on his lap trying to comfort you in any way possible, as he then took a hold of your hands - causing you to relax your grip - to gently remove them from your hair making you weren’t in any pain from the tight grasp you had. Pulling you closer into his embrace, Fushiguro began to slowly run his hand up and down your arm to try to calm you down from your tearful fit before using his other to push away any straying strands of hair that were in your face, so he would wipe away any of the tears that were still present on your eyes or cheeks.
“Shhh, I got you, You’re okay, I’m right here with you,” Fushiguro tenderly muttered to you before placing your head on the crook of his neck as he then began to run his fingers through the strands of your messy hair, carefully brushing out any knots that were created. Fushiguro didn’t even have to ask what was wrong. He already had a slight idea of what was going for the past few weeks.
Due to the lack of sorcerers being available within the school and the stack of higher class missions being piled up, you were the only sorcerer qualified to even go on these missions leaving you to undertake these task alone - much to his dismay, but he had no obligation to go due to his grade as a sorcerer himself. He knew you were strong based on being a sorcerer as well as your emotional and mental state, but everyone has their limits, no matter how long or short one person can hold on to their sanity. Everyone has their limits - he was surprised that you were able to hold on for this long, to be honest, he didn’t think he himself could have lasted as long as you did.
Every day when he had a minimal chance of seeing you, Fushiguro slowly began to notice that you were gradually breaking down, you were becoming more worn out, you were becoming less motivation, you lacked in performance when you were able to train with everyone, and you were slowly detaching yourself from everyone - you were somewhat becoming like him in some way. Fushiguro tired to lighten up your mood by inviting you over to his dorm to watch a movie or to simply cuddle with him, and he knew that you were exceptionally grateful for everything that he was doing, you showed it with the most beautiful smiles and light laughs that you could give him. He just felt so useless.
Snapping out of his thoughts, he suddenly felt a pair of arms being wrapped around his neck, causing him to realise that you seemed to snap out of your own daze. “Thank you so much, Megumi….I’m so happy that I’m with you,” you whispered to him before you tightened your hold on his neck - but not to the point where it was suffocating - before you continued with the three words that always made his heart stop before it would go into a rage as if he had just ran a marathon, “I love you,”.
Even in your current state, you still managed to somehow make Fushiguro feel like he was helping you - to which he completely was, he just didn’t know - leading him to engulf you in his arms before placing a light kiss on your temple to help you relax your body and calm you down even more.
“I got you, I’m right here with you Y/N,” Fushiguro replied back to you before tightening his hold on you as if he was the one that needed comforting, “I love you too,”.
Being with Fushiguro was something you knew to never take from granted, he was like the moonlight that comforted you when you felt so alone in the night. Fushiguro wasn’t someone to express his affection so openly, but for him to try to help you in every way possible - even if he was somewhat out of his character - was something you could never take for granted from the little kisses to the little dorm invites - yeah you really were lucky. Fushiguro Megumi was really the perfect boyfriend
“With you, I know I’m going to be okay Megumi”
