Evening to all :)
Time for the next part :)
Have a nice evening :)
CALL OF THE RAVEN
PART 10
I woke up with a terrible taste in my mouth. I had no clue what time was it, but the sun was out already, making me squint my eyes. I got in sitting position slowly, banging in my head intensifing with every move i made. Ugh, i'm never drinking again, i scolded myself. Squinting, I focused on the little alarm clock that was on the night stand. 10.34. Whoa, i cant remember the last time i slept this long. I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom. I filled the glass with wather, rinsing my mouth a few times before gulping down two glasses. My stomach growled at it, i just hoped not to throw up .Taking a shower would be a wise thing to do, so i just threw the clothes i had off and entered the shower. The warm water felt good, i just let it pour over me for a while. I wrapped myself in the towel taking some painkillers for the headache. Getting back to the room, i dressed up, and sat on the bed. I felt a bit better, but still not enough. Coffee, i tought, thats what i need now. I got up, going for the purse i threw on the floor when i got in, searching for my phone. Shit, i cursed, it wsnt there. I checked every pocket, even Jake's hoodie, but my phone was nowhere to be found. Crap, i probably left it at a the Aurora last night, when Jessy and me wer taking pictures. Or at lest i hoped so. Well, i was going for coffee, so i could stop at the Aurora eitherway. I grabbed my backpack with drawing stuff. Who knows, i might be up for some drawing, no matter I still felt woozy from last night drinking. I putted my sneakers on, grabed my stuff and car keys. Walking wasnt an option this time, i wasnt feeling well enough for it.
When i parked my car infront of the Aurora, I saw Dan's car was still there. I smiled as i left the car, guess i wasnt the only one sleeping late today. I hoped Phil was there already, and my phone too. I entered the Aurora, relieved at the sight of Phil behind the bar. I was washed with the smell of coffee, and as i neared the bar, I pleadingly said to him, sitting on the stool „Please, please, please, tell me i'm not wrong and that is coffee i can smell.“ Phil turned arround , not noticing me when i entered. He grinned at me „You are most definitly right! Would you like some?“ „Yes, pretty please.“ I said, as i putted my hand on the bar, and leaned my head on it as on a pillow. Phil chuckled at me „Want any sugar with it? Or milk?“ „Yes, please.“ I replied, and he vanished through the storage doors. He returned with a big cup of coffe putting it infront of me. I rised my head, took the cup, taking a deep breath of its smell, before taking a big sip of it. „Thanks, Phill, you're my saviour:“ i smiled at him as i settled it back on the bar. „Here to help.“ He said, winking. „Rough night?“ he asked teasingly. „Oh, i dont know how you can be so cheerful.“ I started „I feel like a truck hit me lastnight.“ He laughed „Practice to perfection.“ „I think i would need years of practice to be even close to that kind of perfection!“ i said, making a skeptical face. He smiled at me „So, to what do i owe the pleasure?“ he asked. „Dont get me wrong, im glad to see you“ he said, that devilish spark in his eyes again „But i doubt you came just to see me.“ „You caught me.“ I said, even tho it was nice seeing him. „I was hoping that i might have left my phone here yesterday.“ He shook his head at me, crouching down searchin for a few seconds under the bar, giving me my phone as he got up. „Better be carefull next time, good thing i noticed it as you left.“ „Yay, thanks Phil, again.“ I told him, giving him a big smile. „I owe you big time! Both for the phone, and coffee.“ His phone rang then „Sorry business calling. Be right back“ he said, answering his phone and going through the storage door. I checked my phone with him gone, finding out few missed calls and messages from Jessy. She was worried i havent answered her jet, so i decided to call her while waiting for Phil. The tone barely sugested it rang when Jessy's voice boomed from the other side. „Finaly! Do you know how worried i have been? Are you allright? Where wer you? Why didnt you answer me before?“ It made me smile a bit, her worrying for me like that was so sweet. „Im sooooo sorry Jessy“ i said pleadingly „I left my phone at Aurora last night, i just got here to get it.“ Phil returned at that point, and i mouthed to him 'Jessy's' name, indicating who i was talking to. Her voice boomed again, and i moved my phone a bit from my ear, wich made Phil laugh. „Ofcourse you did! Its no wonder after all the whiskey you had! Dan is still sleeping like a log! You two really had it last night!“ „Aww, Dont be cross, Jessy.“ I started pleadingly again „I promise next time we wont over do it.“ Phil was grining at me now, and i stuck my toung at him, trying to calm Jessy down. „C'mon, you cant tell me you didnt have some fun yesterday.“ I started „I have some pictures on my phone as a proof of it.“ Phil threw his thumb up, showing me i said a good thing, and i grined at him. „Alright, i admit last night wasnt all that bad.“ Jessy started, sounding calmer now „But you're still not off the hook completly.“ „Thanks, Jessy“ i started, grining as a sign of victory to Phil. „You can scold me some more at lunch, if the deal for it still stands.“  „Ofcourse!“ Jessy cined cheerfuly from the other side „Dan will be a sleep for God knows how long, and im already bored here.“ I quickly moved my phone from the ear checking the time. „Its 12.20 now, when do you want us to meet?“. „I'll meet you around 14 at the Aurora. I doubt Phil will mind you hanging there with him till then.“ She replied, teasing me. „Somehow i think you're right.“ I said, looking at Phil with a devilysh smile. „Cya later, Jessy.“ I sadi, lovering my phone. Phil looked at me,a bit confused „Wat was that about?“ „Oh, just Jessy being Jessy.“ I told him, grining. „Fine, fine, be all mysterious.“ He teased me. „Awww, c'mon, you wouldnt find me so interesting if i was an open book.“ I told him, smiling sheepeshly. He looked at me, with that intensifing look again, making me feel heat spreading through my body „You're not wrong about that.“ Crap, what are you doing again, Maya, i scolded myself. Phil was definatly into me, and i was toying with him like this. It really wasnt my intention, i didnt want him to get the wrong impression about anything. But it felt so easy for me, talking to Phil, compared to Jake. Why does all have to be so tough and complicated with him? It feels like walking on egg shells every time im with him: dont do this, dont say that. Shit, it shouldnt be that way, should it? Was i really that much into Jake? Blah, i dont know anything anymore. I wish he would be more open with me, it would make things so much easier. I was lost in my toughts when Phil finaly snaped me back to reality „Maya? You allright?“ I looked at him, shaking my head,  to clear it from all the 'Jake' toughts. „Yeah, sorry.“ I started „Guess the coffee didnt kick in properly yet.“ Phil looked at me, and i could see he didnt really belive what i told him, but decided not to take the matter any further „If you say so.“ Was all he said. I smiled shyly at him. „Do you mind if i just hang here for an hour or so, before metting with Jessy? I dont feel up to driving back to motel, and the coffee isnt bad here either.“ I tried, smiling, waving my empty cup at him. Phil looked at me, rising one of his eyebrows, and smiled devilishly „How could i say no to a beautifull woman?“ He took my cup, winked at me vanishing through the storage doors. I could feel my cheeks flushing again, and my heart beating faster. Shit, shit, shit..
When Phil came back with another full cup of coffee i asked if its ok if I sit at one of the booths, to wich he said  fine, since he did have some work to be done. I took my stuff and coffee setteling at the booth. I had a bit over an hour before metting with Jessy, i hoped some inspiration for work might come to me. I took my stuff out of the backpack, took my sneakers off, sitting with my feet up on the booths perch. I liked drawing like that. Leaning my drawing pad on my knees i tried to focus on my work, but my toughts just kept wondering off.  I tought about Phil, sneaking glances towards the bar. He was good looking, always nice to me, even tho everyone warned me that he was a 'no good' considering women. He never showed any sign of it towards me. He was easygoing, i enjoyed his company, we definatly clicked. Then there is Jake. I was definatly drawn to him, cant deny that. When im near him, it feels like when a moth is drawn towards fire. Cant fight it, its driving me crazy. But nothing with him is easy. Its like taking one step forward, then not one, or even two, but ten steps back. Its so frustrating. And with all that had happened, i feel like all the progres we had was completly gone. My head was still too woozy for thinking of stuff like this. I setteled my drawing stuff down, taking my coffee, leaning back in the booth. Maybe Jessy would have some advice fore me. Two heads are smarter then one, or so they say. But i should definatly talk to Phil, at least try to explain things to him. I dont want him thinking im giving him some false hope here. As if he could sense my toughts, he turned around, took his coffee and walked towards me. „Mind if i join you?“ he asked, and i smiled „Ofcourse i dont. I guess my inspiration is still sleeping, so no work to be done at the moment.“ He grined „Thats good for me. I can have the pleasure of your company for some more then.“ I chuckled at that, siping some more of the coffee. But i tought again about talking with him about everything.  My face must have gotten some serious expression, 'couse Phil looked at me a bit serious, before asking „Whats bothering you, Maya? I have a feeling you want to talk to me about something.“ I looked at him, those deep eyes of his gazing intensly at me, trying to dig up my toughts. „I do.“ I admitted after a moment „But to be hones, i dont know how to start .“ „Well, just do your best.“ He said, and i started to get the feeling of a knot at my stomach again. „Allright.“ I said, but the words didnt come easy after that. „I like you, Phill.“ I said finaly after a moment of silence. He chuckled „Ok, thats a good start.“ „Ah, but that was the easy part.“ I started „Now comes the tricky one.“ I could notice him tensing a bit, like he knew where this might lead to. „Ok, go on then.“ He said. „I enjoy your company, talking to you, its so easygoing. I feel we clicked, that theres some 'spark' between us, and i know you noticed the same.“  „You're right about that.“ He replied. „But..“ i started, and Phil interupted me, sighing „Ahh, there it is, the famous 'but' part.“ „Please, Phil, just let me say what i have, then you can hate me.“ He looked at me, his face getting a soft touch „I couldnt hate you, Maya.“ „Dont say it untill im not done talking.“ I said, a bit sadness creeping to my voice. „Alright. Please, continue.“ „Ok. As i started earlier,i like you, but i dont want to get your hopes up.“ I settled my coffe on the table, my hands fidgeting with the cup. Why was this so hard? „Shit, Phil, im a complete mess at the moment.“ I started „I myself dont know what i want, and its tearing me up inside. There is someone, and i dont know where I stand with him. And i dont want to start something new, if im not a 100% sure that its the right thing, that its something i really want. With no loose ends catching up on me.“ I looked up at Phil, him still not taking his eyes off me. „Am i making any sense to you here?“ i asked, lovering my head. I really didnt want to have this conversation, but that was me being honest. All of a sudden, i could feel Phil's hand covering mine, and i looked back up at him. He still had that softness written all over his face. „I appriciate your honesty, Maya.“ He started „Now let me be honest also.“ „Ofcourse“ i said „I expect nothing less.“ „Good.“ He looked at me more serious now. „You know i like you, you said it yourself. I dont know why, but i felt drawn to you the moment i saw you. Theres something in you that makes a man bedazled by you, i cant explain it differently.“ He paused for a moment before continuing. „And i get it, you dont want to get into something half hearted. And i applaud you for that. Because, if anything was to happen between us, i wouldnt want it that way either.“ He looked at me now, his gaze intensifing again, and i started to feel that heat again. „If it was to happen“ he continued „I would prefere if you wer in it with every inch of your body and soul.“ I was mesmerized by his words. He was so open with me, the words came so easy to him. Why cant it be like this with Jake. „Allrighty, that was pretty honest there.“ I said finaly, making an aqward smile. „You wanted me to be honest.“ He said, adding „And just so you know, im not going to make it easy for you.“ He looked at me now, with that devilish spark in his eyes again. I looked at him puzzled „What do you mean by it?“ He grined at me „Its like this: i will continue to act like i did so far, and you can do the same, cause, lets face it, we both like it.“ His grin widened, and i smiled back at him. „Good, you get me. But, until i get a confirmation from you about freely taking it a step further, i will do whatever i can to maybe, just maybe, help you feel a bit less messy and steer thigs in my favore.“ „And what if it wont end as you hope it would? Can you be ok with just being my friend?“ i asked him. He looked at me for a moment, before answering. „Honestly“ he started“i cant say i wouldnt be dissapointed, a little hearth broken probably, but i would respect your choice. And yes, Maya, if that would be so, i would gladly be just your friend.“ “Thanks, Phil, i appriciate all you said.“ I told him „I was kinda affraid of having this conversation with you.“ „You, affraid? I cant belive that“ he said, teasingly „Belive me, i was scared as hell.“ I said, adding to it „But im glad we had it. I didnt want it to become aqward between us at some point.“ „Not gonna happen.“ He said, winking at me. I smiled „Shit, you know, even thou i had enough yesterday, i could actualy use a drink right now.“ Phil lughed so hard „Awww, you really did get scared. We are in a bar afterall, you just say the words and ill bring you that drink.“ He said, looking at me with one raised eyebrow. „Only if you join me“ i said, grining at him „ And if you dont tell Jessy about it.“ He got up from the booth, smiling and winking before he left for the bar „Deal!“

hi, hope its alright to reach out to you!! i just wanna talk about something cause it bothers me :( i love writing and posting fics on ao3, but my hits are low and :( that kinda makes me feel discouraged a bit.. i know it really shouldnt matter and im not quitting, i still love to write, but do you have any advice on overcoming that?? how can i not care at all about stats and things like hits or kudos?? ily, i hope you’re having a great day <33
hello my friend!!!!  yes it’s totally okay to reach out i love these sorts of fandom advice asks!!!!!
first, i just want to encourage you to have compassion & understanding with yourself for feeling discouraged by your stats.  as much as we know it “really shouldn’t matter,” it’s perfectly natural to want to look at your hits & kudos & see a high number.  from grades to salaries to sat scores to social media likes, we’ve been conditioned to think “high number = better,” and even if you know logically & intellectually that kudos don’t really matter, it’s hard to accept that emotionally.  i’ve struggled with getting caught up in my ao3 stats myself & i think you’d be hard pressed to find a fanfic writer who hasn’t.  so even though you’re right, ao3 stats don’t matter, finding yourself caught up in them is totally & completely natural.
but aside from our conditioned desire to want to see higher numbers, i think there are two reasons we chase stats.  1. we want confirmation that our writing is good.  and 2. we want something out of our fandom experience, and we think popularity will get us that.
on point one, i’m going to tell you (and anybody else who needs to hear it) here & now that high kudos/hits in no way means a fic is good & low kudos/hits in no way means a fic is bad. seriously.  there are so many factors that affect your stats far more than actual quality.  the timing of when you released the fic, whether your summary or tags drew people in, whether you wrote certain tropes that were popular in the fandom, a metric fuck ton of luck, etc.  i have read fics that genuinely changed me as a writer that hardly broke 100 kudos & i’ve seen fandom famous fics that i absolutely can’t get through because i don’t vibe with the writing.  kudos & hits measure one thing & one thing only: how many people clicked on something, either to click on your story or to click on the kudos button.  that’s all they measure.  clicks.  not quality.  not skill.  clicks.   the more you can divorce the ideas of popularity and quality in your mind, the easier it will be to avoid getting caught up in your stats.
onto point two.  popularity is nice.  we all like feeling liked & appreciated by a large group of people & there is a certain appeal to popularity for popularity’s sake.  but i think most of the time, there’s something beneath the desire for popularity that we truly want.  i’d spend some time really thinking over what you want from your fandom experience & how you might be able to get it.  do you want friends & a sense of community?  reach out to people online, join discord servers, or participate in fandom events.  do you want positive feedback on your stories?  enlist a cheer-reader to read your story & tell you what they love about it, or reply to your comments, because it often makes readers give more in depth & frequent feedback over time.  and we can start to get really really specific with this.  like, do you want tumblr asks?  reblog ask games & invite them.  do you want art for your fics?  join a big bang or commission someone. seriously, ask yourself what you want--and i mean really, truly want--and figure out how to get it.
kudos & hits are, at the end of the day, numbers on a screen.  for most of us, we want something out of our fandom experience besides numbers on a screen.  spending time pursuing what you really want--friendships, a creative outlet, a community, etc.--will always make you happier than worrying about stats.  xo

Prince!Chenle
summary: you’re a member of the royal family and I didn’t know and you ran into me in the village and I completely told you off oh my god || prince!au
(A/N) o-oh my god i’m back from the dead with some prince chenle hope u enjoy (im a lil rusty so leave me some feedback Please! also,,, its not proofread haha aslkdjfhals Please Spare Me)
okay so you live in the village
your mom told you prior that you need to just walk over to your grandma’s house and drop sumn off
and to get to her house, you have to cut into the uhhh
the place where all the store stands are
u know like the market place ish
and so your holding a lot of stuff in your arms and you just walk with your eyes on the floor, watching where you step
and you lift your head up at times so you can see if you’re ever going to bump into someone
guess what
you rlly done goofed cause you Look Up and right as you do theres this body that collides with yours
and you drop
e v e r y t h i n g
then you just stop and you get rlly pissed off
you look up rly dramatically and slowly and you meet a pair of eyes that actually look a lil scared
(ugh poor bby chenle im rlly srry)
‘are you serious??? were you just not paying attention??? do you seriously have no coordination on where you’re going??????’
and then you let out a huff and start to pick up your things and place them back in your basket
while you do that you’re just muttering to yourself, ‘GOSH my mom is literally going to whoop me if she finds out i dropped gma’s stuff’
and then you see the guy kneel in front of you and start to help
‘um...... i can do this by myself, you can go ahead and bump into someone else now’
and he just looks at you with this expression you cant read
then he slowly gets up
‘prince chenle, we need you back at the kingdom right away, your mother is asking for you.’
and then you freeze up
p-prince ????? w-what ????????
two plus tw o equals pie ??????
then you start to panic and you hurriedly place the rest of your stuff in the basket and Run
you just Run To Your gma’s house
but you hear a soft ‘wait!’ when you run but you just Cannot
you’re SOOOOO embarrassed and when you arrive at your gma’s house your face is RED
and your ears are all flushed and your gma asks whats wrong
‘i just told off the prince because he bumped into me-’
in your defense he rlly didn’t look like a prince (wdym chenle ALWAYS looks like a prince smh)
he was wearing .... regular clothes so he Did Not Look Like A Prince
like,,,,,, yeah i dont know LOL
but then all your grandma does is LAUGH AT YOU
whats so funny??? blease omg hes gonna Have My Head omgomgomgsdhkjah
so your grandma just looks at you like you’re overreacting and says, “chenle is a nice boy!! he comes and visits me all the time sweetie.”
and then you freeze up because-
w hat ???? let me ??? move my ??? bang real quick ???
“grandma you what”
“chenle visits me all the time??? very nice boy, you’d like him !!”
and all she does is feed you then kick you outta the house to go home before it gets too dark
when you walk back your just rlly thinking ‘.... that happened huh ...’
AND THEN !!! you hear a lil yell of ‘hey!!’
and when you schnapp your head up you see the prince waving up at you with this Look on his face ???
so you just give him a weird glance and walk slowly towards him
“listen, about earlier i am so sor-”
“it’s fine !! hope you aren’t beating urself over it too much !! have a great evening ...?”
then u tell him ur name yadda yadda then he leaves and then ur like !!! haha what just happened !!!
so you go home and just sleep on it cause you kind of just dont want to think about it HAHA
so the next morning when you wake up your mom says to go to your gma’s again
just cause your gma wants to see you .. which is kind of odd
you only see your grandma during special occasions and when you drop things off
only because school/work has been taking a lot of your time
but just for your gma,,,,, you’ll visit her and forget the responsibilities for now
you walk there with confusion on your face because,,, although your grandma loves you, she doesn’t just spring on you and ask you to come over
so youre just curious about why she wants to see you (there isnt anything wrong with it !!! its just a lil odd)
when you arrive to her cottage you see this car outside and immediately become anxious
youre just treading slowly to the door, and then you raise your hand to knock,,, but youre hesitating A LOT
so time goes by (max. of like .. 5 minutes) and the door swings open to reveal your grandma
she puts you into a bone crushing hug, and then pulls you inside
“thank you for coming dear !! i want you to formally meet someone.”
and then you get SCARED scared
so when you turn to go into the living room, you nearly SCREAM
cause on the couch is mr prince chenle and you feel like one of the guards is going to strangle u with the glare they’re giving you
in your defense, you didnt Know ............ you told off the Prince .......
“chenle sweetie, this is my sweet grandchild i was telling you about !! they did tell me recently that you recently met.”
chenle blushes when he makes eye contact but you rlly dont now why cause You Told Him Off and thats rlly all you can think about HAHA
BUT in reality chenle isnt too bothered by that cause you didn’t immediately treat him like a Prince, you treated him like a regular person (albeit a lil ... Yikes)
and he actually thinks that you are the most gorgeous being in the World !! mayhaps lil prince even has a tiny crush on you !!!
when you Formally Introduce urself to him
ur grandma hits u w that, “sweetie can u help me n chenle garden some things !!”
and then she gestures u both to follow her in her backyard
she tells the guards to make themselves feel at home and leave out like lemonade or sumn
so you and chenle are just super awkward at first cause you dont know how to break the tension
also all you can think about once again: was that u rlly told him off
but then chenle starts to laugh really loudly at a joke your grandma says and then you just-
YOU WANT TO COO !! cause even tho his laugh is Super Loud, you find it endearing that he’s just letting loose like this
he catches you staring tho and he stops and he Blushes Again and you want to !!! squish !!
who doesnt want to squish chenle he’s literally such an angel and hes so adorable ugh i lov baby
so you both just start talking more and then by the end of the day you guys are just best buddies
you forget hes the prince too
but then u walk in to see the guards and ur all lik e... righ t...
its ok tho !! chenle is a person too !!
and honestly you guys make this a regular thing
you and chenle go to ur gmas house to garden every day or when you guys have the time
and essentially its just you guys pulling out weeds while talking about new and exciting things that happened to you recently
and your grandma just watches you guys get along and her heart is happy
cause chenle sometimes talks to her about him not making friends cause they always use him for his status
and so ur gma knows u arent like that and shes just really happy to see the two of you get along really well
days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months !! and you guys become really really close friends
some feelings develop too or .. whatever ..
but you dont acknowledge them cause youre just a person who lives in the viliage while hes a prince
chenle does though
and hes so shy about it that he blushes everytime you say his name or just smile at him
cause his heart goes !!!!!
he rlly likes you
and u rlly like him but u just dont know !!!
ye wutevr its 2018 and status rlly shouldnt matter but ur just rlly conscious about being judged and stuff
like even if u started to date him would his parents accept you
and then u snap out of ur thoughts cause chenle looks worried and you havent answered his question
haha he asked a question ???
‘you want to hang out with me tomorrow?? thats not gardening?? i-i mean its ok to say no haha i love gardening with you i just wanted to know if y-you wanted to try something new with me? i-i understand if you want to say no-’
‘chenle, sweetheart, breathe,’
and then he Blushes cause oh they just called me sweetheart and he just breathes
then you say you would love to !!!
and ur gma is just watching the Entire Thing with the guards
with popcorn and tea
and its literally the cutest little exchange ever cause youre both just blushing and red
so when tomorrow comes
chenle meets u at ur gmas house
and so like he holds his hand out for you to take and ur just !! heart into overdrive !!!
and then !!! he takes you to this ice skating rink cause youve mentioned before that you havent been
and he rented out the whole place so people wouldnt be bothering you two
and hes just nervous and so are you but since ur dont know how to skate youre just clinging to him for dear life
and hes such a blushing mess omg
the guards are just cooing at the both of you, some even join you on the ice
and you guys are just cracking jokes and having such a good time
there was a time where one of the guards fell on their ass and u two couldnt stop laughing
then chenle falls but since youre holding onto him you fall down too oops
and so ur just kinda ... laying down on him awkwardly and your guys’ faces are so CLOSE
but then you clear your throat and then you jump off of him
it gets kind of late and the guards are just like, “hate to break this cute and adorable moment, but your momma is calling you to be home prince”
and so chenle just blushes and gets up first, then holds his hand out again to help you up
it makes you sad when he has to leave, but he drops you off at home
when he does, he walks you to your door and then he says goodbye, but before he leaves
you feel a little bold and you kiss him on the cheek !!! so cute !!! cause then hes just RED ! and hes so flustured and he just waves bye and when he gets into his car
he just clutches his chest and has this big smile on his face and hes just so in awe
and the guards are teasing him but he really Does Not Care cause you just did : THAT
you kissed him on the cheek and hes so !!! about it
but you guys go out more often after this
and sometimes is just to hang out with your gma cause chenle has grown to love her HAHA
its become a thing where you kiss him on the cheek goodbye
wow cute
one day though, hes saying bye and hes looking away while youre about to kiss his cheek
but then he remembers he needs to tell you something
so right as your lips are about to kiss his cheek
his head turns and you two share a lil innocent peck
AND YOURE BOTH BLUSHING WOW
AND THE GUARDS ARE SO !!!!
o-ohmy gosh im so kilig you guys
CHENLE IS SO FLUSTURED THAT HE FORGETS WHAT HE WANTED TO TELL YOU
oh right he was about to CONFESS confess but like
ur flustered too so u rush out a goodbye and you LEAVE
and chenle is just !!!! ok ill tell them tomorrow !!!!
well tomorrow comes
and you dont show up
ur gma tells him that u’ve been exhausted cause of school, theyll probs be back tomorrow
so then he comes back tomorrow
and you arent there again
and this goes on for like a week
and he just Knows ur avoiding him
but like hes so fed up because he has been Waiting for the Right Time to confess to you
and so he goes over to ur house and then knocks
you answer the door and then your eyes grow wide and then u shut the door again
but chenle pushes it open and just “WAIT”
and so you just slowly open the door
“why have you been avoiding me??”
and ur just speechless cause haha avoiding you ?? why would i do that ???
and he gives you This Look
and then ur all like ... “OKAY !!! so ive been avoiding you .... what about it..”
and he just sighs and hes all serious and ur all !! cause chenle is barely serious alsdkf
“Listen,,, i really like you,”
you pause and you just look at him before grinning
“i really like you too chenle!!”
and he just looks Frustrated cause he thinks you arent getting it
“more than a friend way!!!”
and then you start to smile and ur all like .. “the feeling is mutual bub !”
and now HES pausing cause w-what
m-marty
but then you just hug him tightly and tell him how much you really like him !!!
and he goes !!!! oh my gosh !!!!
then you guys are just looking at each other and you really do forget that there are other people around you and he kisses you !!! wow !!!
please spare me ive never had my first kiss before HASKDJFHASD
BUT ANYWHO
you guys are always together now !! and he even lets you meet his parents and they immediately: love you

Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) Pt. 5
A Kwon Jiyong x Reader AU series featuring Kim Jiwon and Choi Seunghyun
Genre: Crime/Mafia/ANGST
Warnings: Swearing/Violence
Word count: 4,000+ (There’s A LOT going on here....)
Summary: You joined the police force years ago to help clean up the streets of Seoul and rid the city of organized crime. You’ve seen some shit. You’re surely prepared for anything…but how are you supposed to feel when the big bad crime boss you’ve been after turns out to be a familiar (to say the least) face?
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Tumblr media
The police force prepares you to handle and respond to just about anything; to be a master of balancing action/reaction in any scenario under limitless amounts of pressure. When you wear that badge, you should be ready to tackle whatever is thrown at you no matter what. In the four years you’d held your position, you’ve proven your capabilities through and through.
But the look on Jiwon’s face rendered you almost catatonic.
It was the look a child gives to a parent upon catching them stuffing their face with cookies that the child had left out for Santa Claus. It placed a massive weight on your chest that you would have done anything and gone anywhere to remove. You just sat there staring back at him, knowing it was impossible to take back the last three minutes. Your silence was enough of an answer for him.
His face left yours for no more than a second to recall the mixed company. There was an undeniable shift in the room’s tension as he offered Chief Kim a polite nod. “I apologize. Don’t let me interrupt.” His expression had softened. But it was a smile of his that you knew all too well. You knew exactly what he was thinking when he heard that name, and it ridded your heart with a massive amount of guilt to see him smile through it.
“Jiwon…” You began.
“Here.” He offered the paper bag out to you. “I got you breakfast from the food court. Let me know if you don’t like it and I’ll get you something else.” You couldn’t bring yourself to play along and respond.
The forced smile remained on his face as he bowed to Chief Kim before exiting the room once again. You continued to stare at the door, speechless, until your superior cleared his throat, returning to his own unanswered question.
You squeezed your eyes shut before looking back to him. “I’m sorry about that.” You muttered. “I know that it wasn’t on record anywhere in the basement. That’s because I saw him face to face…he was there when I was hurt…he gave the man the orders.” Your gaze fell to your right leg as you said those words.
Chief Kim shifted in his seat. “This is the first I’m hearing about this.”
“I know.” You paused, still unable to maintain eye contact as your heart and brain continued to wage their war against one another. “But it’s true.”
“You…know him?” He stated it as a fact more so than an actual question.
He sighed at your lack of response. “Y/N. I know I don’t need to remind you of the protocol that comes into play here. Personal connections to a case like this…it shouldn’t be allowed.” Your eyes shot up to meet his before he continued. “I don’t want to remove you from your position in this. Your qualifications and passion exceed damn near everyone, and you are a fantastic detective.” His stern look bore into you. “But I will not hesitate to shut this whole thing down.”
You shook your head. “No. No, Chief, I assure you I can do this. I’m just still shook up from what happened… I will get over it. I promise you.”
The look on his face oozed skepticism. You took a deep breath. “Yes I knew him… Once. That was a long time ago…Clearly, he is a different person.”
He took a minute to silently mull over your words before nodding his head. “All right…I do want to see where you take this case. I know what you are capable of, Y/N.” He paused for emphasis. “But the second I see this becoming an issue, I am putting an end to it. That goes for Seunghyun too. Do you understand?”
You returned a firm nod with zero hesitation.
Speaking to your superior helped reignite your desire to succeed. You silently reminded yourself to shake every ounce of emotion off and maintain your professional demeanor. At least on the surface. Despite how desperately you may wish otherwise, you know that you can’t change the past. You had a job to do and there was no time to waste on your feelings.
After all, you now had someone else’s to worry about.
The amount of anxiety that stayed bundled in your chest when Jiwon reentered the room was ungodly. The room was absolutely silent aside from your IV pump’s beeping and the sound his shoes made as they scuffed against the linoleum flooring. Once he took his place in the metal folding chair beside your bed, he grabbed your left hand and held it without a word. He didn’t even look at you. You watched him intently, feeling sweat slowly begin to bead at your hairline. The weight on your chest felt heavier and heavier as the minutes passed by.
He might as well have been screaming at you. Anything but this…aren’t YOU the one that got shot? What the hell do you have to feel guilty about right now? You had all intentions of telling him. You were going to…eventually.
“Aren’t you hungry?”
He uttered the words monotonously as he stared down at your fingers. It wasn’t what you’d wanted to hear but it was something. You sighed and nudged the untouched paper bag full of food.
“Yeah. I’ll eat some in a minute.” You offered a small smile despite the fact that he still hadn’t looked at you. He nodded his head slightly before silence fell on the room once again, putting a fast end to his attempt at a normal conversation.
The truth was, Jiwon never actually met Jiyong. Ever. There was a lot about you and Jiyong that he never even knew. Whether it was due to pent up insecurities, or jealousy…he knew enough to start countless fights. Even though you never really believed you did anything wrong or gave him any real reason to be mad at you, you apologized again and again, until it was all brought to an end years ago. It was Jiwon’s decision that Jiyong’s name was never to be spoken between the two of you ever again. Today, of course, had broken all of that.
Beep…Beep…Beep…
He brought his left hand up to his lips, which he kissed before gently lowering it to your right knee. His thumb slowly moved back and forth. You felt yourself relax slightly at the affectionate gesture, holding onto the hope that that subject had actually been left in the past, for good. His eyes lingered on your right leg protectively.
“So…that’s what he’s been doing all these years.”
Your warm expression fell. You should have known better.
Your responding silence made him look up at you and hold your hand a little tighter. “I’m sorry. I’m not trying to get us into this again… We finished that conversation a long time ago.” He forced a small grin that you did your best to match. Three years ago actually, but who’s counting?
“I just can’t believe this.” He let out a sigh and shook his head, bringing his eyes back to your leg. “That son of a bitch…”
Discomfort began to fill your chest again as you readjusted your hand in his. You didn’t know how he expected you to reply to any of this. Your mind had been filled with so much confusion; you were proud of yourself for even remembering how to blink. He muttered something to himself, but the room’s dead silence made it impossible for you to not hear him.
“He’ll get his soon...”
Your eyes widened reflexively. Without taking another second to think up an actual response, your face contorted into a wince. “Aish.”
Jiwon removed his left hand from its position with raised eyebrows. “Are you o-?”
You cut him off. “Will you get the nurse? I…I think this pain medication has worn off.”
One week later
“And so, ya know, that’s why I wanted to meet with you in person today. I wanted to be sure you heard it from me first.” Dongjoo folded his hands together. The young man said the words with enthusiasm but his eyes never stopped shifting anxiously between the two men seated across from him.
Jiyong said nothing. He merely tilted his head to the side and narrowed his eyes, as if trying to convince himself that this really was the same man he’s known for years. The same man who, in the beginning, had appeared on his hands and knees quivering before Jiyong and begged like a dog for “just one more day.” Who had gladly “organized” thousands and thousands of dollars into his little tobacco shop at the drop of a hat, because he feared the name, G Dragon. Who’d answered any and every cop or government worker that grew the least bit suspicious, reading all his lines without missing a cue. There’s no way this was the same man who had just so confidently informed Jiyong that he’s decided to move his business to America, and would no longer require his men to “look after” him and his store.
After entertaining the thought for a minute, Jiyong raised his eyebrows in amusement and returned his gaze to the grill. Dongjoo’s smile faltered slightly. His eyes darted back to Jiyong’s partner, silently begging him to say something. Taehee offered no assistance, only staring back at the man with the same mute expression he’d been sporting all night. A small smile found its way to Jiyong’s face as he grabbed a set of tongs to rotate the beef. The loud sizzle it made helped to disguise the audible gulp from his, now former, business associate.
Jiyong continued to stare at the meat with watchful eyes as he brought his elbow to rest on the table, allowing the hand holding the tongs to support his chin. Dongjoo watched him closely, feeling the nervous sweat begin to bead at his forehead. A chill ran down his spine as Jiyong blinked before locking eyes with him once again; that same smile painted across his face.
“Well, that’s too bad.” Jiyong finally said, casually. “I’ve got to say, I’m a little disappointed.” He pointed the tongs at Dongjoo in a playful manner. “America doesn’t deserve your good business.”
Dongjoo burst out in an exaggerated laugh, making it clear he’d been holding his breath. “Oh come on now.”
“No, no, honestly.” Jiyong raised his eyebrows and nodded his head. “You come on; no one runs a tobacco shop over there like you do. No question.”
Dongjoo shrugged his shoulders and laughed again, visibly relaxing. “You’re making me blush. Enough, enough.”
“I think that’s ready.” Taehee interrupted and nodded to the beef.
“Oh here let me cut it.” Dongjoo began to reach for the scissors beside the grill, before Jiyong beat him to it.
“Oh no, please, allow me.” He grabbed the tool with his free hand. “This calls for a celebration. The least I can do is serve you some quality barbecue.” He grabbed the beef with the tongs and carefully eyeballed where to slice it.
“America…now that’s exciting.” He said with his eyes on the grill, lining up the scissors into position. “How’s the Mrs. feel about that?” Slice.
Dongjoo flinched at the sound, while furrowing his eyebrows at the unexpected personal question. “Oh uh.” Slice. “She’s ready for the change I think.” Slice. He laughed lightly.
“You think?” Slice. “Oh, you better know. Don’t want any issues being caused in the marriage because of this. Moving to another country is no small step.” Slice. “What about your daughter?”
Dongjoo laughed nervously once again. Slice. “She’s, uh, she’s excited.” Slice. “She’s only five so, you know, she doesn’t really have much of an opinion.” Slice. He reached up to scratch the back of his head uncomfortably. They’d never discussed his family before.
Jiyong smiled wider. “Ah, kids.” Slice. “They just go with whatever you say.” He looked up at Dongjoo and served him a few strips of beef. “They trust you.”
Dongjoo did an awful job at disguising his discomfort. He hesitated in bowing his head to accept the serving, and quickly averted his eyes to his plate. But Jiyong wasn’t done.
“When do you leave?”
Dongjoo looked up with his chopsticks still in his mouth, having just taken his first bite. “Huh?”
Jiyong was placing a few strips of beef on Taehee’s plate; he looked up to make brief eye contact with his partner before turning back to the nervous gentleman across from him. “I said when do you leave? For America?”
“Oh, ha…ha, in about a month.”
Jiyong raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Oh, well why don’t we just ride this thing out for another month then?” He asked before taking a bite of his own serving. His eyes didn’t leave Dongjoo, who began to shift in his seat as he stared back down at his plate.
“I don’t, uh…you know, with moving and everything that goes into it, I won’t be really doing much business and just-.”
Jiyong cut off his word vomit with a laugh, waving his hand with a full mouth. “I’m fucking with you. Do what you gotta do.”
“Oh.” Dongjoo chuckled out of relief once again. “Thank you. I-… I appreciate that.”
The rest of the dinner didn’t get any more comfortable than that. Jiyong continued to eyeball Dongjoo, who continuously blotted the sweat on his forehead, which he insisted was due to his angle from the grill. Taehee continued to stare blankly between the two of them, only mildly confused, until they all got up to leave. Jiyong held the door open, and as Taehee passed, he grabbed him by the shoulder and muttered something under his breath. Taehee looked at his boss for just a moment, before nodding and walking outside.
Dongjoo walked a little too eagerly in the direction of his car, parked on the opposite side of the building. As he began to walk through the narrow alleyway to get there, he turned to bid a quick goodbye to the two men. “Thank you for everything, gentlemen. I wish you nothing but the best.” He made a hasty bow, which Jiyong and Taehee returned, before turning on his heels.
Just as he’d taken a single step towards the safety of his vehicle, he heard Jiyong’s voice once again. But this time it was closer. He turned around to see the crime boss walking towards him at a leisurely pace. “Now, now. What kind of a goodbye is that? We’ve been through a lot together, you and me. You’ve got to give me more respect than that, right?” As he arrived before him, Jiyong reached his right hand out with an honorable grin.
Dongjoo’s face flashed with worry before quickly covering it back up. “Oh, I’m sorry, GD. I just don’t want the wife to worry, you know? Of course, of course. I surely didn’t mean any disrespect.” He reached a clammy hand out to make contact with Jiyong’s. “No hard feelings?” He asked with a hopeful smile.
Just as Jiyong let out a small chuckle, Dongjoo’s eyes flashed to Taehee. He was standing behind Jiyong, far back by the alleyway entrance, with his back turned to both of them. It took him less than a second for Dongjoo to understand what was about to happen.
As he locked eyes with Jiyong, who was holding his now quivering hand with a firm grip, he had no time to think before his skull swung forward to collide with his own.
Dongjoo released the hand he’d use to shake Jiyong’s as he flung his head back in pain. “Fuck!” His vision was blurred while he tried to look forward, seeing four Jiyong’s coming towards him, each with darkened expressions and their right fists reeled back.
His nose shattered the minute Jiyong made contact, sending Dongjoo’s body immediately to the alley ground. His hands flew to his face as if trying to manually preserve whatever features that remained intact. He coughed and spat out dark blood that had rushed in from his nostrils. Jiyong stalked towards him slowly, like a lion playing with its dinner. Dongjoo’s vision was even hazier now, but his fight-or-flight instincts had kicked in full force, giving him the strength to turn over onto his stomach.
Just as he attempted to bring his arms and legs in to hoist himself up, Jiyong lowered his boot to the man’s ear, putting in just enough pressure to push his head against the pavement. Dongjoo let out a piercing groan. Placing more of his weight into that leg, Jiyong leaned down to get a little closer to his face. As Dongjoo’s exasperated breathing and whimpering for mercy got louder, Jiyong shushed him.
“You know… I expected more from you.” His tone was menacing. “I considered you a friend, really.” Dongjoo cried out, too terrified to even attempt to move. “America? Yeah, buddy?” Jiyong chuckled. “You and I both know that’s fucking bullshit. I just gave you chance after chance and you just continued to lie right to my fucking face.” Jiyong leaned forward and spat on the ground right by the man’s broken nose. “You want to know something? You really think the Yang brothers are going to protect you better than we can? That’s a riot. What did they tell you about me, huh? Who do you think we’ve been protecting you from? Huh?” Dongjoo only sobbed more, his body shaking as the “please, please, please”’s and “I’m so sorry”’s continued to flow from his mouth just as quickly as the blood ran from his nose. Jiyong sighed in frustration. “Don’t worry. I’m not going to kill you. No, that wouldn’t be right to do to a family man. Just know that I will never forget about this.” He lifted his boot and allowed the man to hoist himself up to his knees. Dongjoo coughed violently, simultaneously gasping for the air he’d been hoarding in his lungs.
Jiyong dug into his pocket and threw a handkerchief on the ground in front of him, along with some cash. Dongjoo flinched, recoiling his arms across his face before looking down to see the stitched piece of cloth and the paper bills. Trembling, he looked up to lock eyes with Jiyong, whose dark expression hadn’t changed for a second.
“Wipe yourself off and get that nose looked at. Don’t you go home to your wife and kid and let them see this pathetic sight.” Dongjoo only cried in response, to which Jiyong let out a sigh. “What? What are you still doing here? Go.”
He didn’t have to tell him twice. Dongjoo picked up the money, the handkerchief, and himself up off the ground and stumbled his bodyweight in the direction of the far parking lot. Jiyong waited for the sound of his whimpers to fade and be replaced by the sound of an engine before turning back towards Taehee. He approached the man and placed his hand on his shoulder once again. “All right. Let’s get the fuck out of here.”
“Jesus, he did all that just now?”
Taehee nodded at his partner before taking another swig of the beer in his hand.
“Damn, he’s really not playing around these days...” Wonhae replied, ensuring to keep his voice down, knowing that Jiyong wasn’t far down from them at the bar.
Five men: Gyechul, Taehee, Wonhae, Gwangbok, and Jiyong, all sat side by side. The place was a favorite spot of theirs, which they frequently visited after a long day. It was old, secluded in the outer edges of Seoul, and run by people they knew like family. No other bar could be safer for clientele such as themselves.
“Weeell, we all know fucking why.”
Taehee and Wonhae looked over at their partner on their end of the bar, Gyechul, who’d already had his fair share of alcohol for the night. He was staring up at the little box television set with his mouth agape, intently watching the news. “Look! Look look look, there she is now. Pfffft.” He mumbled and pointed up towards the screen. The local news was broadcasting a story about a cop who’d been shot in a “gang related incident” and had “barely made it out alive.”
Gyechul let out a chuckle, muffled through his teeth. “Hey, look everyone we’re in a gang.”
Taehee spoke up in a firm tone. “Gyechul. Enough…Be smart.”
The man turned from the TV to laugh in Taehee’s direction mockingly. “Be smart…pfffft. If I was smart that night I woulda jus killed that cop…but noooo I was following orders.” He waved his hands in the air as he lazily dragged out each word.
“You’re not fucking killing anyone.”
Taehee closed his eyes in a wince, knowing this was bound to happen. He turned to the right to see their boss staring across the bar right through the three of them to Gyechul. Everyone went quiet.
Gyechul chuckled again. “Pffff, whatever you say boss. You see this?!” He pointed to the TV which now showed an old mugshot of his, displaying him as a wanted criminal. “Now we have this to deal with…the fucking news is after me.” He slurred.
“There would have been even worse news if I let you have ‘cop killer’ thrown on your record. I did you a fucking favor.” Jiyong said coldly, silently refusing to look at the TV.
Gyechul stared his boss down. “Ya know what? Fuck you GD. Fuck you and your favors.” He mumbled with his finger pointed in Jiyong’s direction. He pushed himself up into a standing position, slightly swaying back and forth. Jiyong closed his eyes and took a deep, annoyed, breath.
“Gyechul, stop. All right? Let’s get you some water.” Taehee attempted to intervene again.
“Hey, hey, I’m fine all right? It’s him who’s got the fucking problem.” He pointed at Jiyong again before letting out a drunken laugh. He then dramatically gasped and stared out into space. “P-p-put the gun down! This-this is my final warning! … Bang! AH!!” He flailed his arms in the air, falling against the bar while gripping his leg, and bursting out laughing. Jiyong wasn’t the slightest bit amused. The second he stood up, so did the other three men.
“GD, it’s ok. He’s just drunk. He doesn’t know what the fuck he’s saying. We’ll take him somewhere to chill out.” Taehee and Gwangbok attempted to alleviate the situation while Wonhae grabbed his out of line partner by the shoulders.
“What? Do you think I look fucking worried?” Jiyong spat.
“Touchyyyyy.” Gyechul mused, poking his head around Wonhae’s to continue talking at Jiyong. “Ya know, I’ve never seen you like this over someone. Especially a fucking cop. What’s up with that?! Huh?” He yelled belligerently. Jiyong said nothing. He just stared at the bar while the other men continued to try to calm things down. But Gyechul wouldn’t listen. “You know…it’s almost like she’s that girl.”
Jiyong looked right at him.
“Gyechul, shut the fuck up!” Taehee yelled while Wonhae attempted to smack the man to shut up. But he persisted.
“Noooo, come on, you guys know the girl I mean. The one we all fucking know about but no one ever says anything about because GD will freak the fuck out on them.” He narrowed his eyes at Jiyong, who looked ready for slaughter. “It’s her isn’t it?” He chuckled. “She’s the only one that’ll make you so fucking soft like that.” He pointed to the TV. “Oh but…..” He grinned. “She doesn’t make all of you fucking soft.” He sneered before groping himself mockingly.
Jiyong was on his side of the bar in seconds, with his hands gripping his collar. Jiyong has always been a very stoic person, but right in that moment there was a raging fire in his eyes. The other three men nearly tackled them both to stop whatever was about to happen.
Taehee grabbed Jiyong and pulled him back while the other two men pulled Hyechul away. Jiyong’s chest heaved as he took a deep breath to steady himself. He took a second to close his eyes while he waited for Hyechul’s drunken slurs to pipe down. When they finally did, and it looked like their night at the bar had finally ended, Jiyong got up to leave.
“Hyechul.” He announced.
“Yeaah?” The man turned his head, barely able to maintain eye contact.
“You watch yourself.”
After arriving back at his private home, having had enough bullshit for one night, Jiyong poured him and Taehee both a glass of whiskey. Amongst his four major partners, Taehee was by far his closest and most trusted. He knew better than to push any further, in regards to Jiyong’s feelings, than just one simple question.
“You ok?”
“Yeah.” Jiyong muttered, taking a pull from his glass.
Taehee nodded his head and paused for a minute to sip from his own. “Well… How about some music?”
Jiyong grinned and pointed at him before springing up and pacing towards his record collection. “Yes. What’re you feeling?”
“Anything.”
Jiyong was suddenly as giddy as a child. He stuck his hands in his pants pockets, sticking his tongue out slightly and narrowing his eyes as he looked closely at every title. As he began to feel overwhelmed by the amount of choices, Hyechul’s words from earlier made his mind wander back.
He gently began to flip through one of the older stacks of records he’d gotten from his parents’ house. He smiled sadly as he browsed through classic American tunes from Dion, to Chuck Berry, Frankie Valli, and even the Righteous Brothers. Every album had unique memories attached, but they all had one thing in common.
As he flipped past a Frank Sinatra vinyl, a small 45 popped out and nearly hit the floor. Upon saving it and flipping the cover over, a small gasp escaped his lips. It was a 7” Elvis Presley record with “Love Me Tender” and “Any Way You Want Me.” He wasted no time in putting it on and letting one of his most cherished memories return to him.
“Man, I love Elvis.” Taehee chimed in as the song began.
“Me too.” Jiyong smiled as he swayed in place, staring at the cover. A warmth filled his chest as he read the small words that had been handwritten on the front in white marker.
Love me tender, love me true. All my dreams, fulfilled
For my darling, I love you. And I always will
As he traced his fingers around the small heart that had been drawn by the last word, he was hit with an insane idea. In one second, he’d wiped the smile from his face and restored his stoic demeanor to look at Taehee.
“We’re not going over business right now, but I need you to do something for me.”
Taehee sat up straight and alert.
“Get me the address for Jungbu Police Station.”

“James is out there. You think he's caught up in that?” you’re very aware of the increased thudding of your heart as your eyes refuse to stray from the thick plume of smoke in the distance.
As soon as Negan was positive that there was no immediate threat or danger, he’d left the boudoir with nothing more than an order to all the wives and yourself to stay put. You barely registered his exit as your mind turned a million miles a minute trying to come up with a plausible motive behind the explosion.
“He's a survivor, I’m sure he's fine,” Kira’s words did little to calm your nerves, though her comforting hand on your shoulder was a nice touch. “Besides, even if he is caught up in that, you never know, he might’ve been the one to set it to distract some walkers or some other threat. You never know.”
You didn't think of that. It was a tactic you’d used yourself in the past whenever you had found yourself trapped by the dead with no escape. Sure, you’d never caused massive explosions to distract the rotting hordes, but you didn't have the supplies that the Sanctuary and it’s Saviors had. Maybe this was a particularly large horde that needed maneuvering away from the Sanctuary?
“That's not a bad idea, but it is wrong.”
The sudden, distinctly male voice in the room full of women was enough to bring your guard up and immediately tear your gaze away from the window, only to land on Mason. He smiles warmly at you before his attention is drawn back to a slightly offended Kira.
“And how do you know that? Hmm?”
Mason slowly makes his way towards you as he replies, “because, he and the rest of his crew have no business being anywhere near whatever the hell that was.” Once he was standing in front of you, Mason turned you back around to face the window, reaching around you and pointing in the opposite direction of the fiery mess. “There. That's where they went scavenging. I organised their route myself. They're nowhere near it.”
The relieved sigh that escaped your lips caused Mason to squeeze your arm in reassurance as you smiled up at him, wholly grateful towards him for lifting the suffocating weight from your shoulders.
“Not that it’s not nice to see you, but what are you doing up here?”
“Negan sent me up here to watch over you ladies, make sure nothing big goes down.”
“You mean bigger than a giant explosion that rocks the entire building and can be seen for miles?” you can't help but raise your eyebrow at him, slightly incredulous.
Huffing out a laugh as he shakes his head, Mason concedes your point, “alright, little Miss Snark, what do you ladies do to pass the time around here?”
You shrug your shoulders, not bothering to tell him that this was your first time in here, before turning towards the closest wife, who just so happened to be Tanya.
“Well, usually we've got Negan to bounce on to pass the time, but that probably won't work now.”
“No, probably not.” You couldn't help but grimace slightly at that lovely image in your head now.
“Uhm… I think we've got some cards around here somewhere?”
With Mason watching his girls, Negan could direct all of his attention on the fucking shitshow that decided to interrupt his dinner. He stood out on the balcony of the first floor, giving his Saviors time to gather in the games room down on the ground floor. No matter where he turned his head, the opaque column of smoke always lingered in his peripheral, seemingly a constant in the scenery surrounding the Sanctuary,
Negan’s gloved hand clenched around Lucille at the sound of heavy footsteps coming up behind him, only to relax seconds later as he recognised Simon’s gait.
“Everyone’s ready boss.”
With one last long look at the blemish in the distance, Negan turned on his heel and made his way inside to address his people.
The plan was simple, they’d done this many times before. The explosion was a clear sign of survivors, how many, he didn't know. As with the discovery of survivors in the past, Negan will send out a group of Saviors to locate the group and “recruit” them to join the network of employees providing for the Sanctuary. If there are refusals to bend the knee, then some sorry fucker’s brain matter painting the ground should do the trick. If the stupid fucks still refuse, well, then Negan gets to have his fun.
Once the crews chosen to venture out and hunt down the culprits of the eyesore had been briefed and sent on their way, Negan decided to head back upstairs where he can wait for news on the expedition in the comfort of his wives.
And future wife.
Entering the boudoir, Negan spots his wives, minus Sherry and Amber, sat around a table with Mason playing cards. You watch as he searches the room for the other two wives, quickly taking notice of them through the open bedroom door before his sight finally lands on you lazing on the chaise lounge. You scooch over and make room for him as he makes his way towards you and drops down next to you with a heavy sigh.
You know it’s going to be a long night for your leader, so you sit in comfortable silence, leaning ever so slightly against his arm and watch the highly competitive game of Go Fish taking place in front of you.
“Last we heard from ‘em was four hours ago.”
“They would've been close to the source back then. No communication for four hours is not a good sign.”
“Well, shit, Einstein, ya fucking think?!”
Negan’s smartass retort to Fat Joey was enough to rouse you from your sleep, though you kept your eyes closed as you registered Simon getting the discussion back on track.
“We’ve probably got another Alexandria situation, thinking they can kill us off and it’ll all be fine and dandy.”
“If that's the case, then another big show should put things right.” You weren't sure exactly what ‘big show’ Mason was referencing, though you could guess it would be something you'd rather be ignorant of.
“Taking that many men would leave the Sanctuary vulnerable. Luke’s crew are most likely walker chow at this point and taking the amount of men you're suggesting will leave this place virtually defenceless.” the obvious challenge in Simon’s voice would've been enough to show the shock on your face if you weren't being a sneaky little eavesdropper right then.
“I’ll stay behind. If so much as a scratch befalls the Sanctuary then Negan can take it out on me. Hell, he can demote me if he wants but nothing’s gonna happen. All of the communities are, for once, in line. And it’s not like we haven't left the Sanctuary like this before, we always come back to her. You need to relax Simon, the stress is showing on that pushbroom you call a ‘stache.”
“Alright, ladies, put the claws away. These pyro-fucking-maniacs clearly need to be shown who the big dicks are around these parts. Mason, you're in charge while we're gone. I want updates at the top of every hour through the long range talkies. I couldn't give two shits about anyone below this floor, but if I hear there was anyone up here that shouldn't be? Well, getting demoted will be the least of your fucking worries.”
The clear threat brought goosebumps to your skin. Through his charming grins and carefree attitude, it’s easy to forget the brutality that's contained within Negan, the savagery which establishes Negan’s position as leader of the Saviors.
“Right, get the fuck out of here. We leave in twenty.” waiting until the door was closed behind his men, you're slightly mortified to find Negan addressing you, running a gentle hand over your hair, “So, what should I do with sneaky little eavesdroppers?”
Opening your eyes, you find that you're still on the lounge, though now you're leaning heavily on Negan’s arm where you undoubtedly fell asleep. Feeling somewhat chastened, you smile sheepishly and mumbled an apology as you lift yourself off of him.
Negan’s signature smile tells you that there are no hard feelings, though you feel your heart drop to your stomach when his heartbreaking smile is quick to vanish, replaced by a more serious expression. Reaching for your hand, he gives it a light squeeze as he looks you straight in the eyes.
“You still have that knife I gave you?” at your nod, he asks, “you got it on you?”
“I left it in my backpack, I didn't think I’d be allow to carry it.”
“As soon as you get a chance, you're gonna go get it and come straight back up here. Don't let anyone see that you've got it.”
“I don't understand. You think something will happen while you're gone?” You figured Simon was just being paranoid, making sure all bases were covered, but Negan was really starting to scare you.
“No. But I’m not willing to take that chance. I wouldn't be where I am today if I disregarded shit like that.”
“Okay, I’ll be careful.” You watched him carefully as he relaxed at your words, before softly uttering, “Come back soon, yeah? This place feels a lot safer with you here, surprisingly, and you've got me all paranoid now.”
“Baby girl, I’ll be back before you fucking know it. I've still gotta make you mine.” There's that killer smile of his that manages to bring heat to your cheeks and make you try your hardest, and fail, to not smile back.
“If you had mentioned how good the food was up here back when you first proposed, you might be speaking to wife number six right now rather than just your secretary.”
“Oh, sweet girl, you're not just anything. You are so much fucking more.”
Before he could elaborate any further, a voice crackling through the walkie signaled that it was time for Negan and his men to leave.
After taking in your features for a few seconds more, Negan rose from his seat, grabbing his jacket and Lucille.
You watched in slight awe as he wore his cocksure leader personality in tandem with his jacket, gripping Lucille tight and heading for the door.
Throwing one last cheeky wink your way, you watched Negan leave to unquestionably bash in a couple of skulls, recruiting more worker bees in the process.

Concert Chapter 6: Collapsing facades (final)
Tumblr media
Sooo here it is. The final chapter of my Concert-Story. Sorry everyone for the slight delay but my physical condition didn’t let me do anything yesterday ^^ Im still a bit groggy but I wan’t this piece out there, as soon as possible :DD
This chapter will be a little bit different. How so? Well it is a concert and as such it features some lyrics. In fact, the songs that are featured here, are the songs that inspired me to write this story in the first place.
All credit to the songs go to the amazing Band Delain!
The amazing header again was made by the fabulous @fuzzywuzzylittletail
I put up a Youtube playlist with all featured songs so if you want to know what kind of band this is, feel free to listen to it :D
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHF3zU6UPf67xq8VixzEtiNW5sRtvXcUa
And now, without further ado, here you go!
Chapter 1: Friendship on the Brink
Chapter 2: Goodwil visit
Chapter 3: Apologies
Chapter 4: Crevasse
Chapter 5: Unexpected Encounter
Chapter 6: Collapsing facades
Collapsing facades The rapidly gathering crowed announced that the show was about to start any minute now. Judy was jumping in anticipation while the hall was filling with many mammals of every size.
“Nick, I am so excited! Chuck told me the band is extremely cool. He said their concerts always are great and loud!”
This made Nick remember something and he put something out of his pocket.
“Here, Carrots. Please put these in.” He presented her a pair of earplugs.
“Are your serious?” Judy asked in disbelief.
“Trust me, your ears are way to sensitive to the volume. Don't worry, you'll hear well enough!”
The sincerity in his voice made her give in quickly and he was right, she still could hear with them plugged in. Judy just finished her carrot juice, when the lights in the hall went off with an audible “thud”. The crowd began to cheer over the sudden darkness that announced the beginning show. The cheering grew even louder when an big AnimaliA logo was projected on the black curtain and the music started to play. Unexpected to Judy and Nick, the first instrument they heard was the piano. In addition, it sounded like playing violins supported by the humming of a choir. After a few moments the drums started to play and the logo began to pulsate to the now eminent beat that slowly grew faster. Another few seconds later, the crowd began to cheer in Ecstasy as the guitars and bass kicked in. The logo fainted and one by one, fitting to the beat, names showed up in front of an instrument. “The names of the band-member”, Nick thought.
Bruce -  in front of what looked like a guitar
Charles - another guitar.
Anne - another one?
Michael – Drums
Spots – A keyboard
Charlotte – A microphone
Just as the last name faded, the music stopped and a voice was heard.
I looked at the stripes the monarch flies I hold my cries If my friend, if you can change perhaps then so can I.
After the choir grew silent the guitar started to play a silent little melody supported by the keyboard. The melody grew louder and suddenly with a huge flash of light the curtain fell to the ground revealing the band that started to kick in.
The crowd went crazy, jumping, screaming and clapping to the beat.
Nick was taken by surprise by the sudden change of lightning and had to blink a few times to see what was happening in front of them. As he tried to see through the bright flashing lights that emitted from the stage, he made out a tigress, playing a guitar like instrument and waving her head on the left side of the stage. On the opposide side, he could see a wolf with another guitar, banging his head to the beat likewise.
After a moment he could hear a female voice starting to sing to the music, just as he finally managed to see clearly again and he saw the singer right in front of them was a ..... "Bunny?" he thought amazed. Her fur was pure white except the fading red and orange flames that were painted on her ears and the combination with her scarlet red dress gave him the expression of a flash of fire as she was jumping over the stage singing with such a rich voice it made him wonder how this could come out of someone so small.
He couldnt clearly understand what she was singing about for the noise of jumping crowd was overwhelming but a few snippets went into his ear.
I walked away, and left you bleeding As I kicked the mud off my feet I lay on the ground and watched you leaving My heart fights for every beat
This passage somehow sounded familliar to Nick but he couldn't place it. All he knew was all in a sudden he had a feeling of guilt swelling up inside him. He was pulled away from this thoughts as he noticed a violent push on his arm. He looked down to Judy and saw her excited face as she was jumping up and down and screamed "A BUNNY!!!" He could hear her over the crowd and had to laugh at her excited and surprised expression. But still something just hit him besides Judys fist that keeps bumping his arm and this hurt way more.
It's not enough! How hard I try It's not enough! "Good evening Zootopia!!!" The Bunnys scream pulled Nick out of his thoughts. "Are you having a good time?"
The answer was a deafening uproar that made Nick flinch and he also saw Judy shouting her agreement as well. It seems she found a new hobbie. Who would have thought she'd be into this that much.
"I see we got many different mammals here, tonight. Pred, prey, big, small. This is perfect. I love seing everyone getting along so well."
Again the crowd cheered to that statement. Charlotte, as Nick remembered is her name, was looking around and as she was looking in his direction, he thought she locked her gaze with his. She smiled and continued her speech,
"The next one is for everyone. No matter what you are, what you do.... or what you are into."
She was grinning in Nick and Judy's direction as she said the last part.
"Spots, do you mind?" She asked the Giraffe that was playing a very high standing Keyboard and he started playing a little melody, that made the crowd go wild as they must have recognized it in an instand.
When the drums started to play to the song, giving it his final push and a fast beat, he noticed for the first time the drummer who was a... squirrel? He didnt see him at first because he sat in front of huge speaker that were connected to his small drumset, behind he was partly hidden.
Now that he saw him, Nick had to force himself not to laugh at that bizarre spectacle as the squirrel, who wore shades just like Nick's favourite pilot sunglasses, went crazy and hit the drums as fast as he can.
Charlotte was again jumping wildly to the beat of the song and only sang while dashing from one side of the stage to the other and back. The audience was still cheering ferociously, jumping to the beat and in general having a great time. The atmosphere of pure joy, the hall was filled in the second this song started made Nick think, this song must be something special to the fans and the band.
When Charlotte stopped for the refrain and only held her microphone towards the audience, even Nick got goosebumbs as the crowd began to sing the refrain in an cacophony of voices from the  sharp voics of the mice to the deep trumpeting from the elephants.
We are the others, We are the cast outs, We're the outsiders But you can't hide us, We are the others, We are the cast outs You're no longer on your own If you feel mistreated, Torn and cheated, You are not alone, We are the others
The energy this song emitted was almost touchable and Nick was amazed by the way the audience and the band seemed to righteout celebrate this song. He saw a Tiger and a Goose sing that song arm in arm and he even noticed a Mouse dancing on the head of an elephant who supported the rodent with his trunk so he wont fall down. These guys really dont care what or who one another is. The normal resentments he saw in his daily life just weren't here. He understood that this song wasnt just some platitude or  slogan on a bumper sticker, no, these guys LIVE it.
Nick was so lost in his thoughts by the end of the song, that he even didn't notice, he was shaking his head heavily to the rythm of the song. Judy noticed it and was grinning wildly as Nick tried to return to his cool temper he tried to uphold at any times, even at concerts.
After the end of the song, Charlotte began another speech to the audience.
"I see, you all are having a good time tonight. Well, we do. And it's amazing to see all the different animals untited."
A cheer emitted from the audience.
"I know that these topics might be hard to handle but isn't life to short to be afraid of our differences? Shouldnt we better celebrate them?"
The cheering returned louder.
"Anyway. From personal experience I know how hard it is to overcome the fears, the doubts. You are afraid to hurt someone?"
Nick noticed her longing stare toward --- the wolf(?!)
"Don't give up and give them the chance to take away this fear."
Now she was again looking directly at Nick and Judy. Was this a coincidence?
"GET THE DEVIL OUT OF ME!"
Again the keyboard started the song and shortly after the other bandmembers joined in.
Charlotte started to sing again and jumped toward the Wolf with the guitar next to her. Nick tried to remember his name.
"Charles, I think. He must be Wolfards cousin!", he realized.
I don't know what to feel I don't know what to say Oh, I don't know what to do What makes me treat you this way?
She walked across all of the stage while singing but occasionally jumped back to Charles, who was playing his guitar hard, and shared a wicked smile with him.
I'm no Jesus Christ I'm the one mistake That you love to hate I apologize It's your destiny To get the devil out of me
The song was fast paced and the audience was going wild again during the whole duration of it. When it was over, the hall erupted in loud cheers that went on for a long time.
Charlotte encouraged the crowd to cheer further by raising her paws in a wave like gesture which made them shout even louder. She visibly enjoyed this and walked to Charles who stood on her right. When she reached him, she jumped on his back without hesitation and climbed on his shoulders in one single thrust. She looked so small compared to him and the way she grabbed his head to keep herself from falling down made Nick wonder, what might be going on between them.
“Quite a nice view you got up her, big boy.” she said jokingly.
“Now. Who of you is in a relationship right now?” she asked the microphone.
A loud clamor was the answer.
“Great. And who wishes to be in a relationship but hasn't got the guts to ask the chosen one?”
The cacophony wasn't as loud but still enough to make the walls shake.
“And who of you want's to have a relationship but is too scared to start?”
Nick's eyes widened to that question.
“Well, I've been through something like that. And well, the next song was the outcome. I really felt... DEEP FROZEN!”
The giraffe started some sort of Xylophon melody and the other member kicked in soon after. Nick was anxious about the song. Her question did hurt him, it sounded as if she was talking to him and this scared him.
Charlotte started to sing, still sitting on the Wolf's shoulders,
“Misted windows Hide your empty eyes Every moment, every whisper Separates you from me”
Nick was taken aback. He looked at his breast pocket, where he saw his sunglasses.
“I’ve been screaming Won’t you let me in? Let me see a trace Of the places hidden Under your skin”
Charlotte held her microphone in front of Charle's face, who was carefully playing his instrument not to shake too much, compared to the previous songs. He then started to growl in a deep guttural voice:
“I foster illusions Of which I am afraid unknown emotions Repel your embrace I foster illusions Of which I am afraid afraid of your embrace”
Nick was on the verge of fainting when he heard this lines. Did they read his thoughts? What is this all about? Charlotte continued:
“Needles sting me When you look away And your silence Sounds like deafening screams to me I’ve been waiting Won’t you open your heart? And let me in Please let me in”
Nick was looking at Judy now. Her ears were hanging low and she bend on the face in front of them. She looked like she was feeling down. He realized, she must be thinking the same thing as Charlotte was singing in this song. He really kept his silence. He really looked away. This must have been hell for her. Nick felt horrible.
Charles repeated his lines again and when he finished, Charlotte jumped down from his shoulders and now stood in front of Judy and Nick. Nick felt like she was looking at them when she concluded the song with a verse that sounded like a plead directed to him and him alone. “I am imagining things”, he thought.
“Free your mind from doubt All you have, is now Free your mind from shame It will only bring you pain”
The song ended and the crowed fell back to its usual applause and screaming. Nick wasn't feeling like cheering though. The song did hit him harder than he expected. The feeling of guilt returned and hurt him more than ever before. He caught himself staring at Judy the whole time and took some time to realize she was looking at him in return. Her eyes looked beautiful like ever but he also saw a hint of tears, forming up. He felt like he should say something but Judy broke their eye-contact and nervously pretended to concentrate on the stage again.
He has to set things right, he thought. But not now. “I'll wait until the concert's over. I need a more private place for this.”
Nick wasn't a moron. On the contrary, he knew how to add one and one together and after the next song, he was sure, Wolfard had spoken to his cousin about Nick's “problem”. The song was a slow and kind of sad song about parting ways.
“After the guilt, they planted within me, they also want me to fear, losing Judy for good?”, he thought when he heard the beautifully sung lines,
I want to lay my head down Come closer, come closer I thought you'd turn me But you were turning around I think I'm losing you Losing you again Why didn't you stay a while To say goodbye, my friend My friend
“Well, they succeeded.” he sighed.
Nick had a hard time paying attention to his surroundings and the going on's on stage as he was lost in his thoughts again. He did not notice the surrounding audience that went crazy during the following fast paced songs, of which he didn't get anything at all, or even Judy, who managed to enjoy the show more than he did. Her ears were flapping up and down in front of his face while she was again caught by the music and let it lead her movement but he did not notice it.
“This is all a setup by Wolfard!” he finally thought which made him snap out of it just in time to get the next hit of feelings delivered as Charlotte and the tigress Anne sang a ballad together.
Standing in the shadow of our lies To hide our imperfections, Doing anything we can to hide. Eyes wide open but still blind To see what really matters, And insecurity won't go, See me in shadow.
“Yes I know I was blind! Yes I know I can't control my insecurities!” Nick was screaming inside.
And all the purples and the greens Have turned to black. And the ruins of your soul Have died, no more meaning. I wonder when you have Become so cold
The song ended and Nick was again frozen. Judy's concerned look got him out of it and he tried to fake his emotions by smiling at her and signing a fake yawn as to show her he is fine but tired. He started to move to the following songs to show her he is still there but inside he was far, very far away.
“It was a great night with you guys!” Nick heard Charlotte shouting towards the audience.
“And we are reaching the final of tonight's party but I hope you are ready for a few more songs!”
The hall was shaking by noise that followed that statement pulling Nick out of his thoughts again.
Don't you know In the end you're no stronger of hand You are no stronger of heart Don't you know In the end, we'll be tragically torn apart If we can't control the storm
Charles, who sang this part in a surprisingly clear voice compared to his guttural growl from before, was right, Nick knew. He had to control the storm inside himself or else he will lose his biggest treasure and will regret it for the rest of his life.
He made the decision anyway and finally could see what he has to do clearly in front of him. The following song encouraged him further to let go of his insecurities and act up to his true feelings.
"Would you fall, give it all Would you give it all for me? Sucker-punch the demons from my dreams
“Judy would for sure!” Nick thought, “And its time I start to do the same!” He checked his watch. When will the concert end? He wanted to talk to Judy in private. Show her what he felt. Finally committing himself to her for real.
Charlotte was about to talk again as her eyes and Nicks met again. He had the eerie feeling she knew what was going on and smiled wickedly.
“Okay everyone. We had a blast tonight and it's about time to end this party but yet I noticed that some of you, still haven't had the relief they needed.” She was staring at Nick while she said this.
“Maybe our last song will change that because it is time to end your masquerade!”
Charlotte walked to Charles looked him deep into the eyes and started to sing,
“Your face, my face You breathe, I breathe You fail, I fake I pray, I pray...”
She walked back in front of the audience, and in front of Judy and Nick,
“You lose, I lose, You bruise, I bruise I hunt, you stay My prey, My prey”
“Hunt? Prey?” Nick was completely pulled out of his thoughts as he heard this. Charlotte seemed to look at him as she continued,
“My Masquerade If you’re not afraid To take a step into my world”
“I will kill Wolfard after this.” Nick decided after this new hint at his involvement. Still, this song fit his feelings like a glove.
Charlotte was again walking to Charles and pointed at him in a prompting gesture,
“A ball, tonight Cover your eyes By touch and taste We’ll find our way”
“Yes!” Nick suddenly realized. “Yes! There must be a way. And I know it now!” He was looking down at Judy who were jumping to the fast paced beat of this song, not noticing the determined glance in Nick's eyes.
“Your secrets deep Yes I will keep I hunt, you stay My prey, my prey”
He grapped her left arm with his paws and startled her by the sudden touch. Judy looked up at him, stopping her dance as she noticed his serious stare.
“My Masquerade If you’re not afraid To take a step into my world”
Charlotte noticed that something was happening in front of her and she walked closer to her boyfriends cousins friends. A big grin formed in her face while she was still singing.
“Take of your mask the world will see The freak in you The freak in me”
Nick bowed down towards Judy and said something in a soft whisper that was swallowed by the noise that surrounded them. Judy couldn't hear it but she read it on his lips.
“Tonight we hide From judging eyes”
Their faces closed in together until, ....
“Take of your mask the world will see The freak in you The freak in me”
….they connected in a kiss that was followed by a loving embrace.
Charlotte saw the two lovebirds in their embrace and was barely able to continue to sing. She smiled widely and was jumping in excitement.
“We’ll dance until the sunrise “
Except a few other mammals that stood around Judy and Nick, no one noticed the scene that occurred at that moment.
The song ended and the crowd was cheering, clapping and still jumping around but Judy and Nick still stood there in their own little world.
This scene of the embracing couple surrounded by wildly cheering mammals must have been so obscene, that Charles was laughing hard as Charlotte noted him towards his cousins friends to show him their mission was a huge success.
Judy and Nick couldn't care less about that as tears were running down Judy's cheeks because she now finally knew that Nick's love for her was bigger than his fears.
Nick felt like a huge weight just fell off his back and he was sure, whatever the world will throw at them, whatever small-minds will say.
He will never let his bunny go.
Also, he thought,
“Maybe Rock Music isn't that bad.”
I know that the music used in this might be bad for some of you and maybe you can’t see the connection to Nick and Judy but I had to get this Idea out of my head because it was haunting me for a long time ^^
And now I need a break xD
I still hope you enjoyed it ^^
As a little extra, here are some bonus images, @fuzzywuzzylittletail did for this story :D She is so awesome, dont you agree? xD

hi! i love your blog <3 i was thinking about that post you reblogged about big bang bullying seungri being a worn out joke, and idk i only joined the fandom last year, but like from my perspective seungri seems to be the most arrogant of them, like the way he approached exo at mama (2015?) obv without asking beforehand, or the way he's supposedly the king of variety, or how he told top top didnt know anything about business, or how he flirts with girl idols confidently, (1/2 S.)
or the way he makes up stories and even pretty much directed 2ne1 to do the same, idk i really don't think he is under appreciated -- it seems like daesung is the least popular member anyway, not seungri. So anyway i feel like the teasing is coming from the group knowing him so well, like when you know ur friend is arrogant and you love them you tease them about it. I feel like ... he isn't a victim... esp coz they know each other so well (2/2 S)
hi thank you!!! so... what i think about all of this.... as a person who has been here for a while it has gotten to a point where the jokes about seungri’s insignificance in bigbang are played out and annoying and need to stop. I think that for the most part, bigbang are completely joking!!! that they don’t mean anything by it and it’s more or less okay within their group. I think the real annoyance that seungri stans feel stems from the fact that.... seungri IS underappreciated. you mention that daesang is the least popular and that may be true to some extent (until you factor in his japanese fanbase) but popularity doesn’t equal acknowledgement. I think that if you asked any of the people who stan one of the other 4 then theyd all agree daesung is very talented even if they don’t care that much for him. however, if you were to ask non-seungri stans what they think of seungri, history shows us that not all of them would agree with his talents. so the issue a lot of them have is that by bigbang continually making jokes that seungri shouldnt be in the group theyre giving permission for fans to take the joke further and use it as an excuse to further invalidate him. like not only can they say that he isnt talented but now!!!! they have bigbang saying the same thing as evidence!!! so they can keep spewing that nonsense. plus the joke just isnt funny anymore like, they need a new one its been 10 years of it. and its annoying to have to hear jiyong say that they’d be fine without him when their promoting their last time as ot5 together for years to come. like they should be celebrating their unity as a group not further discouraging the idea of them breaking up, even as a seemingly ‘harmless’ joke

2k16
wow it’s been awhile since i’ve written one of these. i just realized that i totally didn’t write one last year. anyway i dont even know where to begin. 2016 has been an interesting year to say the least. i was rereading some of my old posts and i said omg a lot. the days just seem to go by in a blur nowadays, so i will try to recap 2016 as best as i can. i dont have a word to encompass this year though.
went to seattle in january. tried some really expensive sushi..twice..holy crap. the quality was a1 but man the bill was something else. seattle was nice though. definitely had a san francisco vibe to it, except for when you go to the waterside and look back at all the construction. i guess we kinda ran out of things to do bc on the last day we went to chinatown and the area seemed really dinky. also gained a ton of weight in seattle though u_u
in february we tried 5a5 steakhouse. and let me tell u. it is the best beef i have ever had. it is also the most money i have ever spent on a single meal. oh my god. i dont know if i'll ever be back, but i would like to, some day.
thus far, the semester was pretty okay. let's see..i had government accounting with a moody professor who would throw tantrums whenever no one participated. i also had business law with this old guy who was really lively and fun. i had strategic management with a bryan cranston look alike. the class was really interesting though and i learned a lot and it got me started on reading the economist lmao im so old. i miss having so much free time that came with school. 40 hour work weeks are not the life (even if i barely do anything at work).
went to LA during spring break. and at a good time too bc it was still the soft opening of harry potter world so the lines were v manageable. butterbeer was dope. the entire hogsmeade village just felt so real. had sooo much good food in LA omg. got to see some friends as well. had some of the best steak frites ever.
i cant believe i particpated in asu's talent show this year. much has changed in asu since i joined. it makes me wonder if i was behaving that way when i first joined. it seems a lot more clique-y and high school and drama filled but hey maybe it was that way when i was active but i just never noticed. had many fun lunches with my grand little but man there is a lot of drama in asu and im just glad i wasnt in any of it. i kinda miss the old asu days of staying out late to eat or do nothing at all but also i dont miss it bc i get enough sleep and im a lot more productive without asu lmao. finally ended things with tram for good. maybe things turned out the way they did for the better. the entire friendship was such a roller coaster. im glad its over.
the end of the semester rolled around!!! and i graduated!!!! :') attended my sisters graduation which was pretty boring bc high school students have such a narrow view of life (not to say that college students are any better). attended my own graduation. felt really fortunate to have jessa and anthony there. this one kid in my graudating class gave a speech about accomplishments...and he revealed the wrestling belt he was wearing underneath his graduation gown...and then he made the grads stand up and chant thank yous to the friends and family sitting behind us. it was so embarrassing and extra omg.
shortly after graduation i was on a plane headed back to the motherland. and let me tell u. i hated most of it. it was super hot and humid and my sister and i shared about 100 mosquito bites between the both of us. also. i know i shouldnt but..vietnam is so dirty. i know its not their fault that theyre a developing country but man there are exactly zero sanitation standards and i dont even know why we were there bc the water had recently been polluted so none of the fish were edible and my mom didnt trust the food stands to have clean food either. i guess i made some new friends and visited some cool places but at what cost??? also i think my entire fam got sick bc we slept with the ac on but either way, the meds i took made me lose my sense of smell i think and i couldnt taste or smell anything for two weeks. the ac air also dried out my nose and gave me a skin infection (which i will discuss later). during our trip to danang a small ferry got flipped on the big river and a bunch of ppl died and the government tried to cover it up bc bad publicity etc. they played it off as if only a few ppl died rather than most of the ppl on the boat. our tour guide in danang was in the know tho so he told us everything and w o w that really could've been us on that river bc it was a boat the left the dock about half an hour after our boat left. crazy.
after the long and arduous journey abroad i finally made it back home...and then headed to hawaii. hawaii was dope af. 10/10 would recommend, would go back. battled the tides when we went kayaking and sadly the tides won and i lost my hat but also almost lost my flip flops if it weren't for some kind random strangers who swam out to get my flip flops. we stayed on oahu and maui. hiked up a v steep mountain in oahu. lost my hat from kayaking. got caught in the rain when we went looking for a beach on the first day. had some of the best shaved ice ever. attended my first luau. fell asleep during the first part of a fire dancing show (bc the fire hadnt started yet). essentially pulled an all nighter to try oahu's famous bakery that opened at 3am. flew to maui but due to poor planning we arrived 4 hours earlier than check in lmao. the house we had in maui was so beautiful though omg. it was ocean side so we could hear the waves every night and it just felt so peaceful and tranquil to sit on the balcony in the mornings, just staring out at sea. in maui we went snorkeling. the last time i went snorkeling was like...10+ years ago...in cancun...and the water was freezing...and i also thought i was lost in the middle of the ocean on our way to the snorkeling location... but anyway! the snorkeling this time was so cool omg they had prescription swimming goggles so i could see EVERYTHING. they also provided lunch which was dope. it started raining on our way back to shore though lmao. the next day we drove all the way up the volcano in maui...to find that the top was foggy af and we couldnt see anything. the road up was pretty nasty bc super windy and 10000 ft elevation. it got really foggy after like 6000ft so we basically drove in all fog until the top which was still foggy but also like 20 degrees colder than the rest of maui. maui is super rural omg. we tried to find a place to eat after our trek but there were barely any food places in sight. we picked a random spot in the middle of nowhere and then decided to take the road to hana (which is on the opposite side of where we were staying, and was about 3 hrs away. and boy did we mess up. we took the alternate road there and it was scarier than going up the volcano bc 1) windy 2) small ass roads which were unpaved at certain points and 3) cliff hugging roads..i cant believe i made the drive there and back it was so terrifying omg. not sure if i would go back. at one point there was a big ass cow in the middle of the road. once we got to hana though, the hike was really nice despite the humidity. almost died crossing the river at the end to see the waterfall. all the rocks had big ants on them!!! how was i supposed to cross the river!!! we missed out on the wading pools though but we were so starving by that time. made the 3 hr drive back and everyone was dead. spent the last day on maui not doing much bc rainy and we were all so dead.
about two weeks after i got back from hawaii was training week in sac for my first big girl job. ngl but i felt super homesick that first night. idk why since i would be home by the end of the week anyway. probably just overwhelmed by how fast everything was happening. graduation and now transitioning into a full time job. scary stuff. but i did make a really good friend in sac so it didnt turn out so bad!!! training was pretty fun bc our presenter was pretty engaging. except when we went over the boring stuff and i was v close to falling asleep. did get to catch up with some of my sac friends though which was nice. went to the state fair for the first time as well. it was..exactly as expected but hotter lmao. my family went to san diego at this time bc my sister was going to comic con but i couldnt make it :(
got back from training and started my first big girl job. im not sure what i expected but it was easy but also hard? my first engagement i was only with one other senior and she was super nice and pretty and really good at lettering. i dont feel like i learned much? i only really did the tasks given to me but i feel like half the time i wasnt even sure what i was doing. i also hated the commute all the way back from walnut creek. the going there wasnt so bad bc i got a ride out to oakland but man it would take forever to get home. :'( my second engagement was just me and a partner and i feel like she expected me to know everything...but i didnt know anything...so i mostly sat around a lot??? esp bc she wasnt on site every day so i had zero supervision. :/ towards the end of the second engagement i got an email from the city saying that they were accepting me into their accounting position and i was like oh shit. i ended up taking the job, which gave me a week in between quitting the first job and starting the second, which i used to go back to LA lmao bc i had a season ticket to universal. actually ate at the three broomsticks this time. it was defs filling and i thought it was a good bang for buck. attempted to go to the walking dead tour..chickened out..twice. i probs would've died in there tbh. also went to disneyland!!!! that was lit. their macone-roni and cheese was da bomb. saw world of color for the first time except it was the 50th anniversary edition so it wasnt so great. bumped into the couple that was in jbieb's love yourself video. tried some new food places in LA and saw some old friends, again.
started my second big girl job. all my coworkers are super nice except the big boss is kind of crazy and anal. but we deal with it. my supervisor is so nice :'( work isnt so bad bc i dont do much lmao. the hardest part sometimes is just staying awake if im being honest. getting paid to do nothing is the life tho.
spent my birthday weekend in monterey. we were supposed to go atv-ing but ended up going wine tasting but also not really bc we liked the first wine so much we got a bottle of that to share. it was really cold that weekend surprisingly so we stayed in and then went to this spa place on a whim and it was definitely an interesting experience.
went as a rice bag for halloween and i think that was probably my greatest costume to date. except we ended up going to a party full of white ppl...and i was like the only asian there gdi
tagged along w my sister when she went to sd. got to see many friends!!! went clubbing as well and that was lit. took michelle clubbing for her 21st birthday, also lit. squadsgiving and christmas were super fun. got some supplies for bullet journaling so guess thatll be my new years resolution. but also to take more photos bc i didnt buy that camera for nothing.
okay so in conclusion. i did a lot of stuff this year. it feels like it was mostly all highs. or maybe i just block out the lows but im pretty sure there were way more highs than lows. 2016 was a great year tbh. oh yeah i also passed two of four parts of my cpa exam!!! woot. in 2016, i learned a lot...of accounting lmao. plus i ran my first 5k!!!!! oh yeah and i joined a gym and now im getting swole af. im not sure what my reflections are. i guess, if i were to compare 2k16 kim to 2k14 kim i've for sure come a long ways. i wasnt afraid to try new challenges and conquer them. i stepped out of my comfort zone multiple times, sometimes with the help of alcohol. i got my shit together and really focused in school (which got me a 4.0 during my last year of college). i also got my shit together and studied my ass off for the cpa (which is still ongoing i crey). i really wanna say this was probably one of my best years with everything i was able to do and everything i achieved. so here's to you, 2016, and may 2017 be even better!!!

Chapter 0
"How many are in the room" Katsuki mutters in Izuku's ear when they we just in earshot of one another mouth barely moving as he looking between Izuku and a man in the corner of the room gun trained on them, "only this guy, what about outside?" Izuku mutters back holding Katsuki's hand in a tight grip as Katsuki moved closer, this was supposed to be their final kiss before either of the two took a bullet to the chest, it was up to who ever grabbed the gun to their rights first, but that wasn't going to happen today. "Four two guarding the door one guarding the entrance to this place and the other in a camera room" his mutters were barely a whisper at this point as he leaned down eyes still trained on the man in the corner "Think we have enough time to leave this shit hole?" Izuku cursed "No." Katsuki says before reaching carefully for the gun and kissing Izuku tenderly, they had barely parted from their kiss when a shot rippled through the room with a loud
'BANG'.
Chapter 1
"Katsuki Meet your newest partner Izuku Midoriya, you remember him right, you two used to play together when you were just babies" Mitsuki says with a wicked grin on her face as she stared at the green haired freckled boy, who looked just as elated to see his missing 'aunt', looked like something never change.
The two of them were 18 when they saw each other again, Izuku didn't seem to change on first appearance, he seemed to still had a big heart...to big for Katsuki's liking and a bright ass smile that could probably blind a person not used to it by now, and with Katsuki….well….he didn’t seem to had changed either, still cold towards people, he kept his distance, he was raised to lead, for he would be taking over his family's company soon when they see him fit enough to lead that is, Mistuki believed he was still ‘too weak’ and was hell bent on keeping him in line, and it was honestly starting to piss him off, and his father, Masaru, had tried his best to keep his mother off his back but alot of good that did  him.
Looking at this guy he had grown up with until about eight years ago made him even more  angrier cause he knew Inko hadn't been doing her part since they left for America, she was supposed to make him more suitable for the line of work everyone else in this fucked up makeshift family had done, and that job was to kill.
Kill for money, kill for food, kill to pay rent, kill to survive, but no Inko didn't do this she babied him and now this is going to be a whole other issue he’s gonna have to deal with, Katsuki just hopes he knew how to aleast shoot a gun. "Yeah I remember him" He says with a hint of irritation, looking down on him but not by much Izuku was maybe a inch or so shorter than him, "Hey Kacchan'' He says using that same old nickname he used when they were kids, though Katsuki didn't miss the slight twitch of his smile, Mitsuki did though apparently as she continued speaking "Now how about you two go catch up while I go see Inko, Izuku by the way where is your mother honey?" Mitsuki asks with a sweet tone "Talking to Uncle Masaru, in the front yard I think" He says facing Mitsuki again, her grin widens even more at the mentions of her best friends whereabouts, she then ruffles Izuku's hair with a fond smile fixed on her face  before walking off saying as she left "You two behave got it" Izuku of course responding in a "yes ma'am" and Katsuki a loud tsk before grabbing Izuku’s wrist and leading him to the kitchen before letting go.
In the kitchen it was filled with awkward silence with the occasional clunking from the dishwasher currently going.
Izuku sat at the kitchen aisle while Katsuki went in the fridge, after a while of silence Izuku spoke up,  “Kacchan how’ve you been?”, again with the old nickname, it wasn't like they were friends anymore eight years is alot it can change a person “Stop acting all buddy buddy dumbass, its been eight years since you last saw me”Katsuki hissed Izuku sighs and his smile falls just a little more than last time, his smile almost completely dropping “Yeah, I know, but I still see you as a friend of mine, even though by now I know you probably don’t see me as a friend anymore” Izuku says with a low hum, Katsuki looks back with a look of irritation “Thats fucking stupid, for all you know I could be running a drug ring or some shit like that” Katsuki hissed “Like killing people isn’t any worse, atleast five out of the ten people are killed because of something petty or spitful, noone deserves to die for those reasons.” Izuku raises an eyebrow “Your.. gonna have to change your morals if you plan to  work in this line of work Midoriya” Katsuki grabs out several items from the fridge; an egg craton, two onions, dashi, and two scallions he got earlier today, and boneless skinless chicken. He then pulled out several items from a pantry; dry sake, soy sauce, and sugar, “Can you cook nerd” Izuku stands from his seat with a quiet sigh he rolls up his sleeves and stands beside Katsuki grabbing a knife from the knife block beside the stove “Of course I can” he then grabs one of the onions while Katsuki grabs a bowl, a saucepan, and a cutting board placing a bowl and cutting board in front of Izuku before he began combining the dashi, soy sauce, sake, and sugar in the saucepan as the stove was lit to high temperatures, Izuku in the meantime cut up the onions into slivers and chopped the scallions into thin equal parts.
As the cooked the food Izuku spoke up in a monotonous tone with a look of uncaring in his eyes, “I didn't ask to join this business, I’d rather be traveling right now being a photographer since I finished school early and everything.” at this Katsuki gave him a look mixed with confusion and irritation, seemed like the only thing he knew how to show was of those two emotions, “Why in the hell are you waste your time here then, just fucking leave” Katsuki snapped “Cant exactly do that now can I, my mother has filled me in on to much as it is and my dad….. Look, long story short I can’t back out anymore even if I wanted too.” Izuku could feel Katsukis red eyes glaring holes into him even without him looking, because Katsuki had always wanted to go into his parents career choice, sure it wasnt conventional, and honestly wasnt morally correct killing people for money, but that was life for you and Katsuki wanted simple money even if it meant murder, Izuku found saw no good coming from this though and the two of them knew it, thanks to Izuku witnessing a murder his mother did right in front of him when he was six, since then he has been admit that killing was wrong, and he was right it was but it also bring in money so it worth the risk, right.
“Thats fucking stupid I’m pretty sure that my parents wouldnt care if changed your mind” “Yeah, but then theres my dad, and he made sure to clarify that if I quit I’ll be hunted down by him himself” Izuku frowned at the memory of his father pointing a gun to him for bringing up wanting to be a photographer when he grew up, it was a honest slip up,he was barely eleven, but that slip up was one that he has since regretted since then, Katsuki snickered lightly “Sounds like the old hag” he muttered before turning on the rice and stepping back to lean on the counter aisle “Last I’ve heard he’s out at America working double agent for another hitman agency, heard anything from him, he’s been radio silent here” Izuku shakes his head “No last I heard from him was about a year ago when he said they were sending him out to kill some gut named Yagi Toshinori that had been in the area at the time, he could be dead for all we know” Izuku answers nonchalantly, Katsuki laughed a little louder at this “Your really dont like that old man do you” Izuku decided now was a time to not answer and just shrugged, at this Katsuki smirked “maybe you did change a little” he thought outloud Izuku shrugged once more before checking on the rice and turning the other eye off that held the mixed ingredients “Kacchan, can you answer something for me?” Izuku asked, turning to face Katsuki again, “Why did you hate me when we were younger?” Izuku asks lifting onto a nearby counter top and sitting on it with a small tilt in his head eyes on Katsuki “You don't have to lie either I heard you in the hall at school a few days before you left talking to your friends about how you hated my guts, I left before I could hear your reasoning can you answer that now, I wanna know” the look in Izukus eyes was of pure numbness, not a speck of emotion showing, what the fuck happened to Izuku while Katsuki was in America.
Katsuki sighed in a low voice he starts remembering the past “Well, to put it bluntly, nerd….You were a huge ass crybaby it pissed me off, not to mention your way to caring it was absolutely irritating, you fall in love way to fucking easily, your faith in humanity is fucking rediculas, and not to mention your excessive mummbling made me wanna punch you,did you ever break that fucking habit by the way, but anyways everything you did pissed me off” Katsuki cut himself off realizing at this point he was gonna work himself into actually ranting about his issues with him which shouldnt matter anymore anyways, thinking on how stupid this all was only started to piss him off, but he brought his focus back to Izuku anyways to see his expression hadnt changed even slightly, a few long minutes of silence later and Izuku hops off the counter and turned the rice off “foods done” he says plainly before making bowls, this unsettles Katsuki, greatly. The damn nerd wasn’t reacting to his words at all he blew it off, usually either they would start arguing or he would tear up…. But he didn't do either.
Though Katsuki wanted to ask what the fuck happened to him over the years, but he didn’t have a chance as Izuku turned around with a smile on his face holding two trays in his hand “Hungry?” he asks as if nothing happened,Katsuki lifted up from the counter and grabbed the tray from Izuku  “For the sake of our partnership lets restart alright forget our past” again Izuku confused Katsuki, he nodded nonetheless.
“Fine by me”
Chapter 2
Katsuki’s red eyes was trained on Izuku, everything about him was wrong, it’s like he turned into a literal different person one minute and then back to the kid he knew as a kid a moment later, it completely threw him off, though Katsuki was practically tossed out of his thoughts when he heard Izukus annoyed sigh “Bakugo can you stop staring and just eat your Oyakodon please” he asks placing his spoon down “What the fuck happened to you?” Katsuki asked bluntly Izuku raised a eyebrow “What do you mean” he asks “This whole personality swap your doing its fucking freaky” “Your delusional” Izuku said matter-a-factly before returning to his food “NO IM FUCKING NOT, THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE IN THE KITCHEN YOUVE BEEN ALL MONOTONE AND SHIT BUT THEN SUDDENLY YOUR ALL HAPPY AND SHIT THE VERY NEXT MOMENT” Izuku covered his ears the second Katsuki started shouting before looking up at the boy “Your acting like a child” “eh!?! What the fuck do you mean by that you damn nerd?!” he asks leaning over his food as he stood, he looked about ready to launch out of his seat, “You heard me your acting like a child, now sit down and eat your food” he motions with his hand toward the boys’s bowl before his phone started ringing and he stood up and excused himself from the table and left with a furiously pissed off Katsuki still staring at the greenette for a moment.
The greenette’s phone call ended about five minutes later, probably some nobody, and Katsuki had left the room a bit after leaving his bowl of barely touched food, ‘rude’ Izuku thought before he walked over and grabbed his bowl and sealed the top in plastic wrap before finishing his food before his mother and aunt walked in “Izuku~!” his mother sang walking over to him with a soft look in her eyes “Where’s the brat?” Mitsuki asks noticing her kid missing almost immediately, Izuku shrugged “I’m not really sure I stepped out cause a friend of mine called and when I came back we up and vanished” Izuku stated finishing his bowl before he picked up katsukis tray of food and his “But we made Dinner a bit ago we didn't bother coming to get you guys since you all were getting caught up” Izuku give them a small smile that didn’t exactly meet his eyes “Imma be out front for a bit if you need me if you see Ka-Bakugo mind not telling him where I am he’s the last face I wanna see” he asks before turning on his heel and placing the trays on the counter and leaving for the front, though he did over here Mitsuki whistle and ask something along the lines of “when did he grow up”. Izuku shook his head at this and continued to the front before seeing his uncle Masaru “Hey Izuku” he gives Izuku a small smile as he fixes his glasses and adjusts the papers he was currently carrying, probably from his side job, “Hey uncle I'm going out to get some fresh air” Izuku motions to the door just ahead “Where's Katsuki?” Izuku shrugs once more “I have no clue… he kinda ditched me a few minutes ago” Masaru sighs and mutters under his breath “That boy…” he frowns “Don't worry about it I’m used to it anyways” Izuku shrugged off “I'll leave you to your paper, see you uncle” “Goodbye Izuku” he gives Izuku one more smile before walking into his office Izuku took that as cue for him to carry on walking.
Once outside he reached in his pocket and pulled out a small box of cigarettes, it was a bad habit he picked up thanks to some upperclassmen and his father a few years back, when his mother found out about his smoking habit she blew up, he would like to say he’s never seen his mother so angery and ashamed of him specifically but that would be a lie, Izuku’s done alot of shit growing up, most almost fucking up his chance to get a decent education even though he knew education could only go so far he wanted to accomplish in something, his father was against it so fucking against it he showed up to the school to pull him out thank god his mother called back up to fix his wrong, thinking back to it Izuku couldn’t remember one good moment he could of possibly had with his father, for his father was either beating the living shit out of his mother intoxicated out of his damn mind, cheating; which thinking back to it Izuku had caught him plenty of times when he was little, he was either on jobs, or out doing job knows what getting god knows what, honestly if it wasnt for his father maybe he would of had a decent life...well other than the assassinations his mother does sometimes, Inko had been planning to retire next year, she would have the money since the next four clients she had are paying her 107,805,500 yen each just to kill some guy named Todoroki Enji who apparently he was some high ranking business man that fucked with the wrong family,  and a man named Harima Oji which is currently under heavy security at a prison, how his mother was gonna get to the man, he had no clue but trusted she could handle herself, she was no pushover...anymore.
Currently Izuku was on his third cigarette and with a look of disgust he threw it on the floor and crushed the flame out “its getting worse” he said to himself before pocketing the cigarette box and picking up the now crushed cigarette when he heard Katsuki’s voice “FUCK OFF IF HE WANTS TO BE ALONE THEN LET HIM IM GOING OUT” Izuku could hear his voice from outside almost as clear as day, Izuku took pity in knowing their neighbors must hear them screaming at eachother all the time now, but nevermind that Izuku watched as the door swung open and Katsuki Bakugo damn near shove him into the small flowers growing just outside the house, something his mother did while his aunt and her family was gone “HEY FUCKING WATCH IT” Izuku shouts before grabbing Katsukis arm to keep himself up right from falling, this though led to Katsuki falling, Izuku barely made it out of the way in time to see the angry blonde boy crash into the dirt with a harsh thud and a “ugh” escape his lips Katsuki completely fell thanks to Izuku ‘Oh this won’t be good’ Izuku thought holding back a laugh as he stepped back to find himself trip right into the outdoor plant, “Well karma’s a bitch” Izuku grunted as he tried to stand, to bad his ass was stuck in the vase sitting on dirt and crushed plants, his balance now completely screwed he watches as Katsuki slowly rises from the ground his blonde hair now covered in dirt and his face red with anger till he sees Izuku’s current situation, Izuku watched as Katsuki's face slowly contorted into a giant shit eating grin “Fucking serves you right, enjoying that seat of yours Midoryia” He snort, Izuku shoots back “I don’t know how that dirt taste, pretty nast fall if your face has anything to say about it” at this Katsuki rushes him pulling him out of the pot and throwing him into the dirt at this point the two boys were fighting well fighting as in rolling around in the dirt throwing punches that missed most of the time because both boys had excellent reflexes, they didn’t break up until Inko sprayed water on the two from the distance with a look of annoyance written all over her face Masaru at the door way with a amused look on his face and a camera in hand Mitsuki was right beside him leaning against his shoulder with a absolutely shit-eating grin.
“CAN YOU TWO NOT BEHAVE FOR ONE MOMENT” Inko shouted glaring holes into the two soaked boys still on the ground hands buried either in the others clothing or hair, “TO THINK AFTER ALL THIS TIME NEITHER OF YOU CAN GROW UP AND PUT YOUR DIFFERENCES ASIDE KATSUKI GO TO YOUR ROOM AND GET CHANGED IZUKU” Izuku who was currently the one being pinned which also meant he wasn't as soaked as Katsuki at the moment looked up at his mother with long sigh before kneeing Katsuki in the stomach forcing him off “WE’RE LEAVING” she shouted Izuku nodded and stood dusting himself off which barely did anything, Katsuki the same, though technically this was his home and Inko was a guest he knew Inko was practically a second mother in the house when the time came, same with Inko's house his parents could order Izuku to his room if a fight broke out between the two which was almost always, sometimes they could manage to stay in the same room together and not fight over the most trivial things, but Katsuki was a hot head and Izuku a smartass with a mouth that had no filter when it came to people he didn’t like or his peers, at this point Inko saw no hope of the two every getting along long enough to even attempt to finish a assessment together.
Later that night she brought it up to Mitsuki and Masaru over the phone and Mitsuki reassured her it would be fine no matter how things play out, Masaru offered the next time she visits they all could go out to a bar he knew and have a few drinks Inko accepted and a date was set, she marked it down in her calendar and the rest of the day was treated in silence from the Midoriya household and the Bakugo household full of screaming and shouts mainly between Mitsuki and Katsuki with Masaru watching from a distance just, analyzing.
That's when an idea came to mind.
He had a plan.
