Little random game: name the eps you most hate and most love of each miraculous season and explain why

Hmm, there's not many episodes I'd say I hate, but my favorites and least favorites of each season are as follows:

Season 1:

Favorite: Origins -I don't care if this is technically two episodes, I loved seeing the origins of how the children met and how everything went down. The beginning of LadyNoir and oh my gosh we got such good LadyNoir moments here.

Least Favorite: Reflekta -Honestly looking through season 1 there really isn't any that stands out as a least favorite for me. So I chose Reflekta solely because this episode is the start of the curse of the many Reflekta akumatizations to come. xD

Season 2:

Favorite: Heroes' Day -I had to put this one as my favorite just on the premise that I feel that Heroes' Day is the best final/two parter we've had in the entire series. I loved everyone's role in these episodes, and of course we get to see Nathalie being an absolute queen as well.

Least Favorite: Frozer -Eh. Just an episode that's never stood out to me. Forgettable in the long run.

Season 3:

Favorite: Chat Blanc -Favorite episode of the season? More like my favorite episode ever! The angst. The feels. Chat Blanc's hurt and rage. Chat Blanc's design. It's all so beautiful the only change I'd make is making it a two parter and maybe adding a LadyBlanc kiss. But those changes aren't even needed because it's wonderful as is. 11/10. -Gamer 2.0, Oblivio, and Reflekdoll are honorable mentions. For the adorable LadyNoir moments, adorable Lovesquare moments via memory loss, and kwami swap! Season 3 is probably my favorite season overall.

Least Favorite: Christmaster -Just another episode that's never stood out to me. Plot wise it felt mid, and I can't see myself going back to rewatch it or basing a fic on it. Or including it in a fic. -Honorable mention of Miracle Queen though, as this used to be my least favorite of the season. I was really on board for a Chloe redemption when season three ended so this episode kind of stung (hehe) then, but nowadays I don't have the same issues with it.

Season 4:

Favorite: Qilin Least Favorite: Qilin

-Ha! Didn't see this coming, did you? I love love loved so much of Qilin. I loved the themes it addresses, Marinette and Sabine's relationship, the design of the akuma, it was all so good... until the very end!! They let Marinette take the blame when the real problem was racism?? I hate you ticket dude. And also bus driver dude you saw Sabine with her tickets and she literally gave you baked goods and you said nothing when she was taken away? Why???

And if you don't accept one episode being both the favorite and least favorite, then here are my thoughts on other episodes of the season: -I love the setup of Truth and Lies and would love more episodes focusing solely on Adrien. -Guiltrip when Chat Noir almost Catalcysms himself hurts me on a physical level someone give Adrien a hug. -I will forever live for the Plagg and Adrien moments in Kuro Neko.

Season 5:

Favorite: Evolution -Season 5 has a lot of plot-heavy focused episodes, which I always love to get. We got canon Adrinette, Gabriel getting Cataclysmed, awesome lore... but in the end I still think it's this first episode that's my favorite. I loved the action, how it picks right up at the end of season four, and also Rabbit Noir had such an awesome design too. I liked seeing Master Fu again, and the role Alix got to play. Gabriel got his good Monarch design with the stained glass look. Also timetravel can be tricky to write, and they pulled it off well.

Least Favorite: Action -After a whole season of the most plot-heavy episodes yet with a lot happening emotionally... Action has very little action is the way of plot or even as good “filler”.

Specials:

Favorite: Miraculous Paris -Gah honestly I think this is one of the very best episodes in all the show. Fantastic writing, great characterization, a fun adventure and seeing the alternate universe was fascinating. I love Shadybug and Claw Noir. Hesperia was awesome (I refuse to call him Betterfly). I have so many questions about the other world and who the Supreme is. Gabriel singing the intro. I could go on all day.

Least Favorite: ...idk -I mean there's only three specials thus far, and honestly I can't rank the Shanghai or the New York special as the lowest.

Movies: -Jk we only have one. xD But with how movie one ended with Nathalie I'm excited to see what they might do with this universe in the future.

Bio updates

I'm in the process of adding more information to the kwamis' bios. This won't be done all at once, but I'll be updating a few at a time:

Adding their alignment. Not all the kwamis have if they're positive/negative/neutral energy on their bio yet, and I will also be adding what Alpha they're connected to if applicable.

Name origins and pronunciation. I'll be adding a section to everyone's bio showing why they're named what they are, and maybe a pronunciation of the name as well.

Links on pinned post. Right now the links can only be found on desktop or through the kwamis' art post, so I'd like to include links on my pinned post that shows all my kwamis to make it more accessible on mobile.

Animal traits. A list of what animal related traits (such as night vision, ability to climb walls, etc) can manifest with each kwami. This will also include a rare "crown trait" (such as wings) that only certain holders can manifest.

Future plans. Things I'm not adding at the moment, but would like to include in the bios in the future:

List of holders, both present and past. This I will probably add once I finish the official timeline (which I've actually been working on!)

Drawings of Miraculous, weapon, and the symbol of the kwami. There's a handful of kwamis that do have this, but I want to include it for everyone.

List of what fics they appear in. As I start officially writing out more fics for this AU I'd like to include links to what stories people can find each kwami in.

and as they get in the c-47s, we hit my favorite musical moment of the entire series! the low drone + restructured theme + eventual shift into new material is just perfect!! and the way it has anxiety and power and pride and humanity is incredible - and i love how the instrumentation matches that!!

late add on - my favorite decision is the end the dialogue about 5 minutes before the credits. allowing the music, acting, and cinematography to speak for itself was so effective here, and i love it!

Today in F1 (21/09/24)

Hello party people!

Idk if this is of interest to anyone, but so much happens in a day in this sport that I thought it might be a good idea to create a regularish report of everything that's going on.

I've made a list of everything of importance that happened today, and if this gets any interest at all I could do this semi-regularly/weekly maybe. Lmk if this of interest/worth doing.

List in the tldr.

McLaren's Wings Clipped - other teams including Ferrari and Red Bull have been complaining about McLaren's moving rear wing for a while now, and although the FIA found the wing to be compliant with the rules, McLaren have offered to change it to prevent further discussion. Drivers also made comments about the legality of the wing when being interviewed today, including Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton. Andrea Stella stated that the wing in question made no difference to the team's overall performance.

Godzilla's Kid - practice was disturbed this morning by a lizard on the track, which crossed paths with Fernando Alonso. The stewards chased the lizard away and practice resumed.

Goodbye Daniel? - further rumours about this being Daniel's last race, and discussion about him being replaced by Liam Lawson after the break to the next race. Daniel stated we will know more after the weekend, while his teammate Yuki Tsunoda made it clear he is completely uncertain about the situation with the seats at Red Bull, and that he is focussed on things he can control such as his own performance. After a disappointing qualifying, Daniel was clearly frustrated with the way things are going.

A Future for Franco - further conversation within the paddock about a seat for Franco Colapinto next year after promising performances over his time with Williams so far. The seat available to him is the second seat at Audi, which would pair him with Nico Hulkenberg.

George vs Pirelli - George spent a majority of qualifying ranting about the state of the tyres, expressing frustration with Pirelli for the inconsistency of their performance. Alex Albon also raised complaints about this.

Carlos Spins - Carlos Sainz hits the wall causing a red flag during Q3, disrupting flying laps from Lando Norris and other drivers. Carlos was okay, but was investigated by the stewards for crossing the track without permission when returning to the garage and has been fined 25,000 euros.

Charles' Lap Deletion - after initially qualifying P3, Charles' lap was deleted after he was found to have crossed the white lines on the track, pushing Lewis Hamilton up into P3, and moving Charles down to P9 just ahead of Carlos Sainz. Charles was clearly unhappy with this result.

Lando Takes Pole - for the sixth time this season, Lando Norris has qualified in P1. Every time he has started a race in P1 so far, he has lost that position within the first lap. He'll have to fight hard tomorrow to break that record.

Haas in Arlington Texas - after a flyer of a lap, Nico Hulkenberg managed to qualify in P6. With Singapore being a difficult track to overtake, it's looking like points for Haas tomorrow.

Max vs the FIA - after receiving community service for swearing in a press conference, Max Verstappen staged a protest against the FIA by refusing to properly answer questions in the conference after qualifying, asking the journalists to meet him outside afterwards where he proceeded to hold his own conference. Christian Horner was seen speaking to FIA officials after qualifying.
