Sukuna had to change a lot of things in his life when his twins came along. The man that never imagined he’d become a father, was lucky enough to knock up his girlfriend. Or wife, whatever he gets to call you now. One very unlucky lucky night he decided that protection was a stupid idea, but the universe got back at him to teach him a life lesson, and you ended up pregnant with two– Not one, but two babies.
Sure, Sukuna loves his babies and all that shit which made it easier for him to change into a better person. He’s not a stellar parent or anything, and during the first year of their life he was struggling to figure it out but the job has gotten easier. He’d argue that the job is fun too, seeing the little shits form their own personalities or whatever is interesting.
Though one could say that it’s only fun for Sukuna since the kids are turning out just like their father. For you, on the other hand, it is stressful. Having two children screaming just like their father isn’t exactly fun, not when you have to correct them. It was hilarious to watch Sukuna teach his nephew cuss words for the little guy to run around, yelling the atrocities (nearly giving his father a heart attack); it’s not fun when you’re in the mother’s shoes.
“Fuck you-” “We don’t say that around here!” “Daddy says it!”
“Motherfucker!” “Watch your mouth!” “Daddy told me I can say it!”
It’s a never-ending correction in your home, and it doesn’t help that your husband doesn’t help you out. Sukuna kind of does his part by watching his mouth around the pair, but that’s not enough anymore. They’re almost six, it’s too late for them to unlearn certain words… or other behaviors.
“Stop arguing you two!” You yell from the kitchen, hearing them bicker about something. They’re always arguing because one is mean to the other. Sukuna’s genes are too strong. Luckily for you, you were blessed with a girl and a boy so you don’t have to try again for another baby. You won’t have to repeat this.
“Ugly bastard!” Akane, your baby girl, yells. And you wish it was a moment where you got to think if you heard wrong because your baby girl would never say that, but she would. This one says it nearly daily.
“Akane, if I hear one more word out of you, girl! I swear–” You’re cut off by your husband, startling you as he hugs you from behind. He’s not listening, or well, he is and he doesn’t want you to correct the girl.
“Aren’t you just so proud of her?” He sounds elated, knowing his daughter sounds just like him. If only you could share that sentiment. You push him away and focus on finishing lunch for the little rascals.
“My girl friends invited me out, and guess what? You’re taking over tonight.” You tell him, and Sukuna’s eyes widen. You’ve never made that threat before– Usually when you go out, you take them along or drop them off at someone else’s place because you doubt Sukuna can handle them. The longest they’ve been alone has been an hour.
“Someone will end up getting stabbed.” Is his answer, hoping that it’s enough to scare you into staying. Sukuna loves his babies, but he knows he can’t handle them. He made a grave mistake by molding them into mini versions of himself. Sukuna can’t control himself, how is he able to control two small Sukunas?
“And it’s probably going to be you if you don’t play your cards right. Good luck.” You answer, making it clear that you’re not staying home no matter what. You don’t acknowledge Sukuna as he begins to tell you the horrific sights that you might come home to. Sure, your kids are rowdy and a lot like their father but they won’t burn the house down… if you hide the matches.
“Akira! Akane! Come here!” You ignore him, calling your kids for their lunch. Sukuna sighs, rolling his eyes.
They can’t be too bad…
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a0b028a7ca9dfef8028580ccf3b1e4d0/f6daa4125b65c962-ce/s540x810/654a8e8b6ccf5142ef222a98303b145d1dc6bbea.jpg)
“Hold his legs!” Akane yells to her brother while she pulls Sukuna’s hair. He doesn’t know what happened, he just fell asleep on the couch and woke up to his arms being restrained while one twin wipes something on his face.
“What the fuck are you two doing?!” Sukuna raises his voice, rightfully so considering the position he’s in right now. He was warned, yet chose not to listen. Sukuna could kick the little shit that’s trying to tie him together but he won’t in fear that he might be too harsh and send the kid to the hospital. Oh, he hates them so much right now but any other time he’s willing to give up his life for them.
“We’re just playing.” Akira answers, and Sukuna could strangle one of the twins right at this moment– Too bad his hands are tied. How is this playing? Are they simulating a kidnapping or what?
“Untie me, now!” He orders, but his words go in one ear and out the other. He’s not mommy, he’s not uptight and lets them do whatever so this must be a joke.
“Quick, grab mommy’s makeup!” Akane yells, and Sukuna clenches his jaw. He’s trying to free himself, but they got him good. He needs to check what the kids are watching from now on because this is worrying for him.
“Akane, let me go before I get angry.” Sukuna threatens, but what can he possibly do when he’s tied up?
“I got it!” Her twin comes into the living room with your makeup bag. Sukuna is squirming, trying his best to break free from his confinement but he can’t. Did they catch him while he was tying you up or what? No… He remembers locking the door.
“If you two don’t let me free in this instant, I’ll make you pay!” Sukuna sounds intimidating, clearly angry at this little stunt. Unfortunately for him, they don’t take him seriously. They fear no one.
“You sound funny.” Akane laughs before pulling on his hair, which makes a cry escape his lips. Oh, he’d love this father thing if they were like you. This whole thing is getting annoying, but not only for him; the pair is getting tired of hearing their father cry and scream. “Akira, grab the tape, daddy is getting annoying.”
“What the fuck are you going to do?! I am your father, you two have to listen to me!” Sukuna is trying his best to break free before the twins tape his mouth and end up killing him. And by some miracle, just as they get their hands on the tape, the front door opens.
He prays that it’s you, ready to save him from the twins’ evil plan. It’s not you, but the next best thing. Sukuna doesn’t waste a second before yelling, “Jin! Stop them before they kill me!”
“What’s happening here?” His brother looks around confused. What did he just walk in on? He got a text from you to check in on his brother since Sukuna would be alone with the twins… and this happens. He sees his beloved nephew walk back with a roll of tape, and Jin picks him up from the ground. “What are you two doing to your dad?”
“They’re trying to kill me!” Sukuna yells, which the twins argue,
“We’re just playing!” Which makes a chuckle come from Jin. It isn’t funny– Well, maybe just a bit. It’s hilarious to see Sukuna get a taste of his own medicine.
“Now, you two, let your dad go.” Jin says, and at that moment they huff and puff. But they listen. He’s watching Sukuna’s expressions, and he stops the twins before they completely free him. “Stop. Go to your rooms.”
“What?! Don’t–” Before Sukuna can finish yelling, they’ve run away. They aren’t going to listen to him. Once they’re out of sight, Jin frees Sukuna and holds the man down, not trusting him enough to let him go.
“You’re not going to do anything to them, right?” Jin sounds as if he were Sukuna’s dad, which only pisses the man off more.
“The fuck am I going to do to them? I didn’t kick the little shit when he was tying my legs because I didn’t want to hurt him.” Sukuna makes a great point, but Jin wasn’t there to witness it. Right now he sees an angry man, and he wants to make sure Sukuna calms down before anything. “Why the hell are you here anyway?”
“Your wife called me to check up on you, and I came just in time.” Jin answers, sitting down beside Sukuna once he knows that his brother is calm enough. Sukuna wants to be mad at you for not trusting him enough to watch his own kids, but he also wants to thank you for saving him tonight.
“Don’t tell her what you saw.” Sukuna quickly says. It’s more of a warning than a request. Sukuna takes a deep breath. He should be asking what the kids were going to do to him– It wasn’t going to be anything too bad, probably just put on some makeup on him or some other stupid trick. They knew he was going to say no if he asked, so they chose to tie him up. The thought isn’t too far fetched considering who their father is. What he’s thinking right now is,
“Why would they listen to you and not me?” Sukuna wonders, and Jin has an idea as to why. “I mean I’m terrifying, but you? You look like you catch jellyfish with a net and work at the Krusty Krab.”
“Ah, they’re into Spongebob now.” Jin can’t help but laugh. He won’t take the insults to heart since this has always been Sukuna. “I feel like they do find you scary, they just don’t think that you’ll do anything to them if they torment you.”
“What the fuck are you saying?” Sukuna isn’t in the mood for this. He can’t just wrap his head around this whole situation.
“You let them get away with a lot when it comes to you. You don’t let them get away with anything when it comes to their mother or other family.” Jin explains, which is valid reasoning but Sukuna rolls his eyes. That isn’t the answer he’s looking for, therefore he won’t accept it.
“Whatever you say. I’m going to check up on them before they flood the house.” Sukuna stands up from his seat, leaving his brother behind. The twins can’t be trusted for too long.
Lo and behold, they found the matches.
“You two came into my life as karma, huh?” Sukuna asks, before taking the matches from their grimy hands. “Akane, go annoy your uncle. Akira, you’re getting a bath and that’s final.”
“I thought you said I could bathe only once a week.” Akira points out the agreement they’ve had, but Sukuna has changed his mind.
“I changed my mind when you and your sister did a kidnapping simulation with me. Plus, your mother says you stink and she doesn’t like you anymore so go to the tub.” Sukuna is not scared of making a little white lie to hurt his son’s feelings. It’s the least he could do.
“Mommy doesn’t what?” Akira’s eyes become watery, his bottom lip quivering at the thought of his mother not loving him anymore. Sukuna would feel a twinge of remorse any other night.
“He’s lying, bubba.” Akane goes to his brother’s side to comfort him. She might be a little devil, but she has her soft spot. She hugs him tightly and Sukuna has to tear his eyes away from the sickly sweet scene. They won’t get to him. “You do stink but mommy loves you. She told us she loved us before leaving.”
“A lie she told you since she’s not coming back because you stink.” Sukuna isn’t going to stop, even when he hears his son cry. The boy pushes his sister away and runs to the bathroom to wash himself to make his mother come back. Hearing his own son cry is tough, but he’ll pat himself on the back later.
“You’re next. Now go to your uncle, ask about Yuji or some shit.” Sukuna looks at his daughter, who is more resilient than her brother. She’s only five though, so he can find a way to get through to her with no issue. “Your birthday is coming up soon, huh? Guess I’ll–”
“I’m going!” She yells before Sukuna can finish his sentence, making a smirk come to his face. Smart girl.
He can handle them for the rest of the night, especially with Jin here.

When you come home, your little demons are sound asleep in their bedroom. You tuck them in, and admire the sight that you never see during the day. They almost look like they were sent straight from heaven. It’s a nice sight to come home too.
Your opinion changes when you enter your bedroom and find your husband throwing his clothes into a suitcase. You’ve noticed that over the past years he’s become increasingly dramatic. You let your presence be known as a chuckle escapes your lips, standing in the doorway.
“Is it because they tied you up?” You question, and a frown comes to his lips.
“I told Jin to not tell you. But yes.” He answers, and you step into the room. You shut the door behind you, locking the door just in case things escalate. “They don’t take me seriously, and I told you things wouldn’t go well if you left me alone with them but there you go, going out with your friends.”
“I can’t stay locked up forever taking care of them.” You respond, and he rolls his eyes.
“Leave them with Jin. They take him seriously.” Sukuna says, and you chuckle.
“Unpack your stuff, baby. Stop being so dramatic.” You tell him, heading over to the bathroom to get ready for bed. That’s not enough for him right now though.
“I’m leaving and never coming back.” Sukuna sounds like a child, which is hilarious. Only those two can get that side out of him. He’ll continue no matter what you say, so you do the next best thing. You lift up your shirt, and his eyes widen for a moment before he tears them away.
“Your boobs aren’t going to work this time.” He claims, and you fix your shirt. He sucks his bottom lip between his teeth before sighing, “But they do help.”
“Come here, baby.” You walk over to him, wrapping your arms around him. Sukuna hugs you back, and he could sob (just for the dramatics).
“They’re so mean.” Sukuna’s head rests on your shoulder, as his hand travels under your shirt to squeeze your boob. “Can you make me feel better?”
“Can you–” You begin but before you can even finish, Sukuna pulls away and throws the suitcase on the ground. He’ll unpack later. You open your mouth to speak again but he grabs the back of your head and pulls you into a rough kiss.
His tongue wanders around your mouth, his free hand going under your shirt once again. It’s an old trick, but every time you show him your breasts, he forgets anything and everything. You don’t do it when the matter is a serious issue, but you really can’t do much about the fact that your twins are straight from hell.
Sukuna sits down on the bed, lifting up your shirt, prompting you to take it off. Once it’s out of the way, his tongue licks up your body before giving your tits attention. He rolls his tongue around your nipple while his hand plays with the other one, pinching your nipple and squeezing your boob. You really get him, knowing the exact way to get him to calm down. He pulls away, and kisses between your breasts until he gets to the other tit. He switches to your other tit and entertains himself once again.
He’s having so much fun, his mouth preoccupied with you but there’s an uncomfortable sensation between his pants. He unlatches, looking up at you with lustful eyes. Your gaze falls on the tent in his pants, making you bite down your lip.
“Help me out.” He says, and you help him unbuckle out. You pull down his pants, freeing his cock from its confinement. You kneel down in front of him, a smirk on your lips. This is a great way to apologize.
You spit on his cock before your hand wraps around the base. You lower your head, tongue circling around the tip as your hand strokes his dick. You start off so painfully slow, too painful for Sukuna. You lower your head, taking as much of his dick as you can.
You slowly bob your head, hands wrapping around the park of his cock that is outside and stroking it for him. It’s like heaven for him, though he just wants to push your head down and force you to take all of his cock. You can take it like a good girl, right? He won’t take any risks tonight.
“You can take it all.” You lift your head, and Sukuna whines. You were barely even doing anything, why did you feel the need to stop? A spark appears on his eyes, a smirk coming to his face as you cup your tits. He judged too soon.
You put his cock between your chest, squeezing your cleavage together before moving it up and down his dick. Sukuna’s eyes nearly roll to the back of his head at the feeling of your tits squeezing around him. He grabs the back of your head, pulling back and telling you, “Open your fucking mouth.”
And without missing a beat, you obey, sticking your tongue out. He spits in your mouth, and you swallow immediately. This is the reason why you ended up with twins– You just do shit that makes him feel every inch of your body raw, a need. You’re so obedient and generous with him.
Your soft flesh between his cock is too much for him, and such a nice sight as he watches them jiggle. You should do this more often is all that he can think as your hands pick up speed. He’s rolling his hips, lightly moaning as his breath gets heavy.
“Good job.” You hear, which tells you all that you need to know. He barely praises you unless he’s close.
“Cum for me, baby. Do it all over my tits.” You tell him, and he bites down his lips to not sound pathetic. Oh, he has to control himself tonight because you might end up with another child. He can’t have that.
His hands grip the bed sheets as he finishes all over you. His cum covers your chest, all the way up to your neck. Your fingers swipes it, bringing it up to your lips simply for his entertainment, but he’s looking for something else in the nightstand.
He could die right now.
“Ran out of condoms, and I’m not risking anything.” He’s in so much pain as the words leave his lips, and you furrow your brows. Since when has this been an issue?
“You can pull out.” You remind him, but that isn’t cutting it for Sukuna.
“I said I’m not risking anything.” He couldn’t make it any clearer. Tonight was certainly… An experience to say the least.
“Can you at least eat me out?” You ask him, standing up from the ground. There’s no way you’re going unrewarded tonight.
“You have a vibrator, work it out.” He shrugs, and you glare at him. He’s pissed off with you again, leaving him with the twins was a horrible mistake on your part.
“You’re such a jerk.” You roll your eyes at him, and hearing him chuckle makes you want to hit him. You manage to restrain yourself, managing to mutter out a simple, “Fuck you.”
“Aw, they get it from you. How cute.” He says, which makes your palm lightly slap his forehead. “Hey! Maybe next time don’t leave me alone–”
“The vibrator is going to do a better job than you anyway.” You cut him off, going to the bathroom to clean yourself up… Getting all dirty and for what?
“If you really want another pair, I’ll give them to you.” Sukuna stands up, following behind you to annoy you.
“Get a fucking vasectomy.” You respond, and you feel his arms wrap around you, stopping you from going any further. Of course he can’t leave you alone. “Sukuna, I’m going to shower.”
“I’ll help you.”

A short drabble in which Sukuna grapples with the fact he's going to be a dad
Sukuna had never wanted to be a dad. Why would he have any desire for that? A ball of snot and shit that rolled around on the floor and insisted on getting into everything? No thank you. He had other far better things to worry about. A child was out of the question.
So, it's really no surprise that you kept your pregnancy secret from him for so long. You may have been his favorite of the concubines, but you didn't think his favoritism extended that far. You'd seen other girls slaughtered for being cursed with a child, and were trying to avoid that fate for as long as possible. You couldn't avoid Sukuna though, not if you wanted to hold your spot as favorite. And that spot was the only chance you had of surviving this whole ordeal.
Sukuna wasn't an idiot, much to your dismay, and was very familiar with your body. The moment you started to show, he knew. And the resulting temper tantrum was nothing short of horrific.
“And just how long were you planning on keeping this from me?!" He yelled so loud you could feel your soul shake. Tears streamed freely down your face as you tried to make yourself seem small.
"I don't know-" you confessed.
"You don't know?!" He snapped, "you don't fucking know?! Do you think im stupid Y/n? Is that it? Did you think I wouldn't notice you were fucking pregnant?!" He punctuated his sentence with a punch to the wall, making what felt like the whole structure shake.
"I'm sorry My Lord." You knew better than to try to defend yourself in this situation. Sometimes it was safe to push back against Sukuna. Sometimes he liked to play brat tamer, and remind you of your place in fun ways. Now was not one of those times. To challenge him now would be to meet whatever God it was you worshiped, or lack thereof.
"You're sorry," He sneered, "you're so sorry, like that fucking fixes anything! Why wouldn't you tell me the moment you knew?!"
"I didn't want to upset you."
"You fucked that up when you got pregnant, whore." He scoffed, pinching the bridge of his nose and looking away in disgust. "Abhorrent girl, bringing a disgusting creature into my temple. Get out my sight until I can decide what to do with you."
You didn't need to be told twice. You rushed out of his throne room and back into the concubines quarters, just thankful to have your life. All in all, he took the news surprisingly well and it went better than you thought. You held your stomach as you worried about what your Lord would have done with your baby. With his baby. But, for now, you had survived the most dangerous part of all of this. Now you really just felt like you needed a nap.
Sukuna avoided you for weeks after that. It was harder than you thought to be on the other side of the avoidance game. You didn't realize how much you had grown to appreciate Sukuna’s attention until it was gone. You wondered what the hell he was up to, especially considering none of the other girls had been "blessed" with his attention either.
He was too busy battling with his own internal demons. The part of him that wanted you dead for the creature you were brining into his temple- and the part of him that wondered what a baby from the two of you would look like. Would they have his cursed techniques? Would they have your eyes? This was the part of himself that he hated the fucking most.
He was a ruthless warlord, he had no time for love or children or a family. And he definitely didn't have it in him to admit he'd grown soft for a fucking concubine of all things. How fucking pathetic of him. The only way he could rationalize any of this was to tell himself it was a for an heir. He wasn't going to live forever after all, might as well take this opportunity. Still, was really going to let a fucking whore mother his heir? There was only really one thing he could do.
You still remember the ice in your veins as you realized all of the concubines had been gathered in the court yard for an execution. It made sense, he hadn't been with any of you for a month now- and for the other girls quadruple that. You had all just become extra mouths to feed.
So then why weren't you down there with the rest of them? There was no hiding your swollen stomach now, if any of the concubines stood to be killed- it was you. But you had been tucked away safe from the executions in Ryomens sleeping quarters. Why?
The answer came pretty quick as he joined you in his room. His face was unreadable, which chilled you more than any blizzard could have hoped for. Ryomen had always worn his emotions on his face, and you had always been able to read him as if he were a well loved book. This was out of your comfort zone. You didn't like this.
"I spoke to your father." He finally said.
"My father's alive?!" You gasped
"Yeah, I was shocked too." He huffed, taking your hands in his. "You're to be my wife." He said rather bluntly as he looked into your eyes. There was no room for negotiation here, Sukuna made that clear. Despite yourself, you felt a wave of excitement surge through your body.
"I am?!" You asked, smilingly like a fool. He gave a rare, gentle smile back. And that's when you finally saw the softness in his eyes that was only reserved for you.
"You are." He confirmed, "under the condition that you can birth me a healthy heir, that is." He said, placing an uncharacteristically gentle hand on your stomach. You knew without him having to say it that this was his best attempt at an apology. The future king of curses could never bring himself to say the words 'I'm sorry' or 'I was wrong.' But, he could lovingly take you in his arms, and hope you got the message.
Ryomen was unnaturally tender in the days leading up to you giving birth. He had all of the best doctors on standby, and refused to leave your side. Anyone that so much as breathed wrong in your vicinity would have hell to pay. He didn't know what the fuck had gotten into him. All he knew was that as your stomach got heavier, his need to protect you and the life growing in you got more intense. Like some animalistic part of his brain knew a part of him was inside you, and to protect you was to protect himself. At least, that was how he rationalized it.
The day you gave birth he was a fucking mess. It killed him to listen to your screams of pain and be unable to do anything to help. All he could do was let you break his hand with your death grip, and reassure you you were doing amazing. Rare moments of his praise lost in the sounds of an agonizing labor. He didn't expect the relief that washed over him when he first heard his son cry, a sound he thought was going to be horrifically annoying some how sounding like music to his ears.
"Y/n, can you hear him?" He asked, mostly to make sure you were still alive.
"Sadly." You were not as enthused by baby screaming as Ryomen was. You were decently pissed off when, after being cleaned and checked over, the baby was given to Ryomen instead of you. You were the one that carried that bitch for nine months, and had just spent hours to deliver him, you should get to hold him first!!
All of that melted away when you saw the look in your husband's eyes as he stared down at his new child. You had never seen Ryomens eyes twinkle, but they were absolutely sparkling now. It even took him off guard just how deeply he fell in love with the baby the moment they touched. Flesh of his flesh, blood of his blood, he was holding his entire future in his arms. His chest felt like it was going to implode from how tight it was, and- holy shit, was he holding back tears?!
"He's beautiful." Ryomen finally choked out.
"He looks just like you." You hummed. He chuckled and shook his head.
"No, not at all. He's too good to look anything like me. He's all you." You shook your own head at the blatant lie. That kid was carved from the exact same marble Ryomen was, but you had no energy to argue.
Soft cries started to bubble up from baby boy as he stirred. Instinctively, you reached out for your son. It was almost reluctantly that Ryomen handed him over to you. You smiled as you pressed your newborn to your chest to feed him, finally getting a good look at the life you brought into this world.
"Thought of any names?" You asked your husband. Ryomen paled a bit. He really hadn't.
"None worthy of him." Technically it wasn't a lie. You chuckled softly. You expected such an answer.
"What about Ryuu?" You asked, looking up at Ryomen.
"Ryuu?" He asked, mulling the name over. The name meant Dragon. It was strong, and noble. He could definitely see Ryuu Sukuna leading his armies into battle one day. He smiled and nodded. "I like it. Ryuu it is."

I don’t think Gojo died dissatisfied, or with any regrets.
Just a personal opinion that I wrote on twitter/X but I also wanted to capture and put into words here.
I can see how and why it can be interpreted that he did die with at least 1-2 regrets. However... as I read and re-read and thought about it to the point of being overthunk (lol), I have come to conclude (for myself at the very least), that he died with peace in his heart.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/730285433ba66a4d82e53a02bbd9bfa3/f96dafa0a42f8d10-46/s540x810/3af0630a7c5126bb59bf9391fdf8c0e838109dfd.jpg)
First we see him grumble about being wrong about dying alone because he told Megumi this. Then, he said he had unfinished business with informing Megumi about his dad, to which being a largely accepting/stoic person (kinda like the “resignation man” thing again that Gege described him - not necessarily in a negative way) really helps, because he readily accepts that he left it to Shoko and would be taken care of on his behalf.
So with that regard, he was at peace.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/359c77a926cb951882f4904c6c2582ab/f96dafa0a42f8d10-73/s540x810/d8a516e6e91becd89f179dce9692bf7babfe559c.jpg)
Next, Gojo admitted that he couldn’t reach Sukuna, and for that, he was apologetic/sorry/regretful (Not so much disappointed, due to the usage of the phrase 申し訳なく which conveys more of a sense of humility and responsibility, rather than feelings of being let down).
This is an important one for me... because if we understand how human bodies work in real life, and also if we subscribe to some form of faith/spirituality (in this case maybe Buddhism), the physical body actually takes time to die and the soul therefore takes time to depart the body.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5fc4fe8003baa44c31464e7325adb45d/f96dafa0a42f8d10-10/s540x810/1d864a7f93cba769d861e561dfe5b991fa675fe6.jpg)
We see Gojo smirk at the end of Sukuna’s speech saying that Gojo had “cleared his skies” and would be remembered by him for as long as he lived.
This can be interpreted in two ways (or both) - one, that those words were conveyed and Gojo heard them, understanding that he did reach Sukuna in some way. And 2nd that he smirked knowingly that he could “bet on the future” / the next generation, with what Yuta would do with his body…
Which also aligns with his soft reaction to what Nanami said about betting on the future. Gojo did his best with his students too.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/38a1b237995387d9b6ed9a2a26598055/f96dafa0a42f8d10-8f/s540x810/23a1c0d47ab738879a722da81f79d4fccc51c614.jpg)
So much so that he jokes with Yaga that he was wrong about sorcerers all dying with regret!
So with the body taking time to die, I see it as something similar with what happened with Jogo and Choso - their last moments took some time to happen.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/6daaabcdcb54b38650e17ee6e9f15684/f96dafa0a42f8d10-70/s1280x1920/2f4eadd50c3c873fe469fb277f2e1e6a44867612.jpg)
As Jogo was burning, he met with his friends and had his send-off / acknowledgment from Sukuna that he was strong, that it was fun, and that he could stand proud. Jogo died feeling he had worth and believed he would reunite with his friends.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/fcafcd226932a4abaacbaeb803f75fac/f96dafa0a42f8d10-92/s540x810/4483c313ab5d77b2def4cdf8f6cd640c28235a67.jpg)
As Choso was shielding Yuji (I’m still not recovered from this btw) he also had his send-off at the long table with Yuji. He died protecting his brother, which gave him absolute meaning and purpose as a human being and not a curse. Similar situation at the end can be said about Nanami (arguable whether the process of dying was beginning to happen with his hallucinations of being at the beach) with his brief send-off with Haibara standing before him. They were consolidating their lives at their final moments. Expressing any regret/sorry’s helped them pass on peacefully. I’ll spare you the picture of mortally wounded Nanami 😢
Another one I won’t put a pic of would be Hajime’s death where he and Sukuna have an exchange too. I don’t know if he died with regret or not, but he got his answer at the very least - what he was searching for.
As for Nobara, we see her with the chairs, her thoughts and reflections - saying her farewells / apologies, and finally concluding that her life wasn’t so bad 😢
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7f9eb10b8ca2a31a02dcaa0705bda190/f96dafa0a42f8d10-1d/s540x810/ac12a0b8776b59d1449e762a866b8d3b58643f53.jpg)
Those with mortal wounds to the head seem to die a little more immediately, so their vision of salvation / death dream / whatever you want to call it - appears to happen a little bit earlier. But it doesn’t stray too far from the theory that a “good death” comes to some of the characters in the jjk world and it exists in a space... uhh... we can describe as “between dream and reality”??? 🫣 idk about what/who is right or wrong. We know different characters have different theories about things - just like in real life I guess. Nevertheless I (as a reader) want to believe there is some kind of afterlife.
Back on topic: Gojo’s other “disappointment” was that he wished that Geto was there to “pat him on the back”. He would have been satisfied if Geto was there.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/acf2d7e082385d95045476b24c5fa019/f96dafa0a42f8d10-ec/s540x810/06ba15da5f1e34f7bcae2fc31b5a22f85d8111fe.jpg)
And now, well, Geto was there. Flowery speech bubbles and all. So I think the fact that he was with him as a soul, reunited, was enough of a pleasant surprise.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/aa690805e1562e256180e05bbaa324e7/f96dafa0a42f8d10-b4/s540x810/62582d2b73b7c8b76df718050f8442929fcf0610.jpg)
Enough for Gojo to go into “husband is home from a hard day’s work - time to let go and grumble” (lol). And Geto wasn’t a flower because Gojo wanted him to understand him, so I can see how this was satisfying for Gojo, who felt he wanted to catch up to Geto.
Narratively/Thematically it also makes sense that Gojo was at Geto’s end (sending him off), and Geto was at Gojo’s end (picking him up). You know... “you’re late”x2 “you’re early”? “I was left behind”x2 “I have to catch up?” (These two were just busy chasing each other).
Yeah. It wouldn’t take away the satisfaction over all that happened just because Geto wasn’t there to pat him on the back - because then dying would leave him behind. And crucially, Gojo prayed that being there at the airport wasn’t a dream. So he was satisfied with being reunited and being there with everyone.
My conclusion is basically this: I think that Gojo fully died physically when he smirked. A human body left to bleed out with a wound like that would take time to stop functioning. But we know that mercifully he was mostly dead, which was why his consciousness was at the airport. Arguably, where his soul needed to be. He would’ve internalised Sukuna’s message as his body physically died, which could explain why it reacted.
So if we believe that it wasn’t just a hallucination and there is an afterlife (there are many reasons to believe there is, with talk of soul resonance, reincarnation, etc.), just as how Geto knew Gojo fought Sukuna, the souls in the afterlife have awareness of what goes on in the world of the living.
I’m pretty certain that one way or another, Gojo would have received the knowledge that Sukuna had praise for him, even if he couldn’t reach him with his humanity. So there were essentially no “regrets”.
Gojo was satisfied with having left the information for Megumi for Shoko to deliver, with how he died in battle to someone stronger, that he was able to satisfactorily go all out & felt he had fun, that Sukuna acknowledged him, that he could bet on the future, and that he was also reunited with Geto & his friends from his youth.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8162b9757387552b68dda9f494b49c0c/f96dafa0a42f8d10-80/s540x810/bfb200113c6f213f39c4a46e4575e9f1e720795e.jpg)
Yes, so… I believe that Gojo died satisfied.
🥲 RIP Gojo Satoru. I hope you and Geto have a good time in the afterlife.

Commencing Mundane Unclekuna Wednesday #1—yes, these names get more ridiculous by the day. The actual fic title is bloodstains on the collar means just don't ask, which is significantly cooler on account of not being mine.
This is my first non-canon JJK AU—as opposed to the canon divergence, minor or major, that I favor—and despite the name, this isn't just sukuita; there's also goyuu. Quick, act shocked.
A lot of the AU development/exposition so far has focused on adapting canon details about the Itadori family for a no-powers, all-human context—like this post shows. On the character end, sorting out a version of Sukuna who's not a cannibalistic mass murderer but is sure as hell not nice, kind, or even sane has been a fun challenge, especially when depicting him from Yuuji's perspective. Gojou and the goyuu bits also needed some work, since taking them out of the canon context while keeping their age gap and teacher–student dynamic changes the flavor of fuckery. The most fun has been Yuuji though—you can see why here.
The fic is currently 3 chapters and 14k. I have a total of 7 chapters planned, though that may increase by one or two depending on how the sex scenes come along. For this week, instead of a single scene, I've picked a goyuu section from Chapter 2 and a sukuita one from Chapter 3.
Goyuu
Satoru plucks the manga that’s been resting on the table, balancing it on a finger while watching Itadori struggle to watch Satoru’s hand, chest, and face all at the same time. “School’s a boring place to wait. You can meet up at some café, can’t you?”
“I…guess?” Itadori shrugs. “It’s fine. I mean, I don’t mind. It’s more fun to go with people.”
“Shy?” Satoru asks, setting the manga down. “Or are you afraid people will think you’re some delinquent?”
Itadori looks both bewildered and entrained. He has a very expressive face. The eyes, especially.
“Nothing like that, sensei,” he says, and Satoru leans in a little at his tone—the same amused patience Satoru’s heard in people who can tolerate him best, except they generally take months, if not years, to get to that level of resigned acceptance. Itadori leans in too, matching Satoru consciously or unconsciously. “You ask a lot of questions.”
“I’m a curious guy,” Satoru drawls. It’s not even a lie. “And you’re interesting.”
Itadori blushes again. “Oh. Um, thanks?”
Satoru smiles. This time, Itadori’s eyes drop to his mouth, and Satoru can’t help smiling a little wider.
Itadori swallows.
“Back to the question then.” Satoru links his hands and props his chin on it. Itadori’s gaze doesn’t leave his mouth. “Why’d your uncle come pick you up?”
Itadori’s well within his rights to tell Satoru to fuck off—diplomatically, maybe, since they’re teacher and student, but the sentiment would be the same. Even Satoru’s closest friends aren’t shy about firmly and often physically steering his nose out of their business.
But Itadori answers: “My parents left town pretty suddenly, and I’d forgotten my phone at home. They couldn’t tell me to go to Sukuna’s place instead. So he came here.”
Satoru hums. “I’d say you’re old enough to stay home alone. Don’t tell me you’re the sort to cause trouble with a bit of freedom.”
“No?” Itadori looks genuinely confused. “I mean, I don’t think so. I don’t mind staying alone either, but my dad worries, so…”
“So you’re being a considerate son,” Satoru finishes in his own words. “What a good boy.”
Itadori’s breath catches audibly. His eyes are darker now, giving an animal edge to his face. It’s an interesting expression, and it makes him look a bit more like his uncle.
Satoru gives him a moment.
Then— “He seems like an interesting man to live with, your uncle.”
Itadori blinks. A frown takes over his face, even though his eyes stay tellingly dark. “You could say that. Gojou-sensei, you aren’t…?”
Satoru waits, but Itadori doesn’t complete the question, just stares at Satoru like he’s trying to telepathically pour the rest of the words into his head. Unfortunately, Satoru isn’t fluent in awkward teenager.
“Go on,” Satoru prods.
Itadori grimaces, and it shows in his voice when he asks, “You’re not, like, into Sukuna, are you?”
Satoru’s dumbfounded for a moment. Then he’s stifling laughter, not all that successfully. Itadori’s expression shifts from disgusted discomfort to just plain embarrassment, but even through that, he stares at Satoru—his mouth and his eyes.
Brave boy.
“Sorry,” Satoru says, not meaning it one whit. He’s loving this. “Reasonable assumption on your part, really. But don’t worry, your uncle’s safe from me.”
Itadori seems to relax a little. “It’s more the other way around.”
“Oh?” Satoru asks, intrigued. “Is he trouble?”
Itadori squints at him. “Sensei, you sound way too excited about that.”
“I did say I’m curious! I can promise not to hit on him, if that’ll put you at ease.” Satoru holds out his hand invitingly. “Gentleman’s agreement.”
Itadori stares at the hand for a full second.
Then he slowly, warily takes it.
It’s not a small hand; Itadori’s not a small boy. Satoru is bigger though, and his hand envelops Itadori’s, the tips of his index and middle fingers coming to a gentle rest against Itadori’s pulse. His hand is shockingly rough, with hard calluses brushing Satoru’s skin.
He squeezes gently.
Itadori’s blush hasn’t faded fully since Satoru called him a good boy, but now, it flares, splattering gracelessly across his face. It goes shockingly well with his hair.
Lines are being crossed. Satoru feels it keenly, the change in the air.
He drags his hand out of Itadori’s, slower and more delicate than he needs to. His fingers trail from Itadori’s racing pulse to the trembling tips of his fingers, and even after Satoru’s leaned back again, folding his hands demurely in his lap, Itadori’s hand hovers in the air over the table for a good few seconds before dropping limply to the surface.
Satoru winks at him. “Now spill.”
Itadori blinks slowly. Satoru can practically see his brain rebooting.
“What was the question again?” Itadori asks.
Sukuita
Movement wakes him, eons before the touch.
A hand settles on his hip, searing even through the cloth. It’s limp, flopping there in a decent mimicry of a sleep-heavy limb. Sukuna knows better.
Wasn’t always like this. The kid was a kid once. More of a kid. Small, helpless, useless. A piece of shit from the start though. The first time Jin handed him to Sukuna, practically forcing his little bundle of snotty joy into his hands, the little fucker had thrown up on his face.
Jin laughed, the bastard. He didn’t mean to, that much was clear from the stifled snorts and painfully red face. Kenjaku had no such compunctions, chortling like the same brat hadn’t damn near killed them on his way out of their cunt.
Kaori had the sense to take the baby away before Sukuna could toss him out a window. The most sensible of the lot, and of course she’s the one who went and died. Sukuna’s been seeing a lot more of the kid since then. Even more since Wasuke followed suit.
Shit luck to be born into a family like this. He used to think the brat didn’t fit in, with his big baby eyes and bleeding heart. Worse than his father. Turns out he’s weirder too, but Sukuna blames Kenjaku for that.
Blood will always out.
That’s no excuse for this—the hand sliding down to his stomach, the body pressing against his back. The kid’s warm.
He’s not, usually. That body runs cold. Sukuna noticed it the first time when the kid was tiny, barely the length of his forearm. A frail mass of fabric and fluff nestled against his chest, leeching off his body heat. Not that it took much to warm that tiny thing.
’Course, then the kid woke up and promptly latched on to a nipple because he was even dumber then, and when Sukuna pried him off while yelling for Kenjaku, he’d been treated to a deranged shriek that damn near ruptured his ear drums.
Nothing much has changed over the years. The brat went from screaming at him to biting him to scowling at him to punching him to trying to fucking kill him. Wildcat, through and through. The only part of him Sukuna’s ever bothered to nurture.
It’s different when he’s asleep. The baby soaking in his warmth. The toddler sprawled on his chest. The boy curled up in his lap.
Small and weak and utterly unbothered about it.
How the fuck do you live like that, trust like that?
At least this is better. It’s not trust breathing into his nape and groping his stomach. It’s just human filth.
They’re testing touches, slow enough and idle enough that the brat probably thinks they’d pass as sleepy ministrations.
Idiot.
Nobody would miss the intent behind this. It’s scorching.
If someone held him at gunpoint and forced him to admit the one thing he has in common with his brother’s spawn, it wouldn’t be the hair or the blood or the killing rage—it’d be this, the hunger.
Sukuna can tell the exact moment the brat decides he’s actually asleep. His palm presses flat against Sukuna’s stomach, skin to skin. That’s on him for sleeping shirtless despite his impromptu bedmate, but like hell is he changing his habits just because this little creep wants to molest him in his sleep. Not like clothes would stop him anyway.
Sukuna continues to feign sleep, his breathing steady and just a little uneven—a rhythm he memorized and learned to mimic for situations a lot more dire than the badly planned porno playing out right now.
The kid’s patient. Or just a fucking virgin. Sukuna can’t imagine why else he’d spent minutes just touching his stomach, that warm palm rubbing lazy circles over his abs. Sometimes, it presses down, denting the soft layer of fat on his belly to dig into the muscle underneath. It’s a struggle not to flex then. A few muscles jump, entirely involuntary, but the brat just breathes heavier and wetter, squirming closer to Sukuna.
There’s another hand between their bodies—an entire arm, the line of it doing nothing to hide what it’s touching. It’s not moving, yet, and Sukuna still hasn’t figured out whether it’s there just for the pressure or if the stupid shit actually thinks that not digging his boner into Sukuna’s back means something.
Some line to not cross. Some precious moral to cling to.
Sukuna wouldn’t put it past him, but the brazen bullshit the other day told a different story. It sure wasn’t guilt or even shame that darkened the brat’s eyes when Sukuna tore him off his back and pinned him by the throat.

Ranking JJK Characters I Don't Like
Ranging from mild dislike (14) to LOATHE WITH EVERY INCH OF MY BEING (1).
14. Mai: I don't hate her. I sympathize with her. I just wish she wasn't the way she is.
13. Junpei: I do have compassion for him, but ... school shooter vibes. Not a fan.
12. Noritoshi: Bad vibes.
11. Toji: Bad dad. And he's so nosy, too. Why does he always insert himself into situations with his fists swinging? Actually, now that I think about it, that's kind of iconic behavior. But all it ever really did was create more problems. If he had never inserted himself into the plot, Geto would have probably never turned mass-murderer-cult-leader--WE COULD HAVE HAD EVERYTHING. So it's a pass for me. Also, his haircut is off-putting for reasons I cannot articulate. It's like one day in middle school he got a haircut and just never changed up the style ever again.
10. Jogo: Ugly.
9. Uraume: Character design: slay. Helping Sukuna: not slay.
8. Like every adult from the Zenin clan: BECAUSE THEY SUCK.
7. Tengen: Old and entitled.
6. Kenjaku: Old and entitled part two. What gives him the right?
5. Sukuna: Horrid, nasty man. I feel like I shouldn't have to elaborate.
4. Ui Ui: Annoying. Literally, why are you even here?
3. Mei Mei: First of all, how am I supposed to take you seriously with that stupid braid hanging in front of your face? From the very instant her character was introduced, I did not like her, but I thought maybe I was being a woman hater for no reason, so I really did try to tolerate her. But when we finally saw that scene in season two. PRISON!!! I was right. She's the worst. We are not gonna ignore that. Check her files.
2. That thing with the blond side ponytail: I hate him so much I don't even know his name. I don't care to know it. I would say why do you as a man look like that, but honestly why do you as a HUMAN BEING look like that? Why do you act like that? Why are you skipping around wearing a poorly made DIY toga? Whole nip is hanging out, and no one asked to see that. Why are you HOLDING HANDS with your blade? Freak. There is something so intrinsically, inherently, ONTOLOGICALLY wrong with him, you can't even blame it on childhood trauma or a personality disorder. The only time I ever supported Sukuna was when he bullied this emaciated Jo Jo Siwa lookin' thing in Shibuya.
Mahito: I hate him so much. I hate him more than I've ever hated any character. I actually lose the ability to speak coherently when I think about him because I hate him so much. I think it's so cringe when try-hard dudes say, "When I'm angry all I see is red." But when I think about Mahito it really is like blood and pure rage cloud my vision. He is literally the embodiment of if you gave an edge lord psychopathic eleven year old the power to kill people. "Wee, I'm so powerful and killing people is just SoooOoOoOoOOOo much fun!!" SHUT UP!!!!!!!! SHUT UPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!! YOU ARE NOT FUNNY. YOU ARE NOT CUTE. YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL IN ANY WAY. He is genuinely the most irritating character I have ever come across. And as the story progresses, he just gets worse. What do you mean he can duplicate himself? Now we have to deal with TWO of this wretched creature? What do you mean he can be decapitated AND HIS HEAD WILL SPROUT LIMBS AND SPRINT AWAY? STOOOOOOOOOP. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHAT HAPPENED TO NANAMI--I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT. Mahito is such a nasty, slithy, bothersome, despicable, nauseating little cockroach. "Yuji, you and I are the same." Huh? You thought you did something there, didn't you? You thought you ate and came up with some kind of deep, revolutionary concept? It's giving pretentious philosophy dude who thinks he's superior for being a little contrarian, nihilistic Nietzsche butt licker. When Yuji finally humbled him, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed seeing the fear in his eyes. For one brief, fleeting moment, I could finally understand what sadists must feel like. Honestly, we deserved to watch him suffer, and I wish he would have suffered far more for far longer. Rot in anguish, Mahito. You will not be missed nor forgiven.

Word Count: 2,224 words
Summary: Now a teenager, Besu has another friend added to her arsenal. Suguru Geto. After a day of chatter and teasing each other, Gojo and Besu head home before curfew. They're not expecting a life-threatening roadblock on the way home.
Chapter 5: Fierce Little One
Besu giggled at Geto as he seemed completely unbothered by Gojo’s usual antics. While Gojo and Besu often fed from each others’ chaotic energy, Geto acted as their emotional stabilizer. When Gojo first introduced Geto, Besu couldn’t deny her concerns. As daughter of the Curse King, she’d grown accustomed to being used as an advantageous pawn to get to her father.
Which meant she expected to be shouldered aside in favor of someone better than her.
Now? The three of them hung out all the time. Her father didn’t seem fond of the idea that she was best friends with two boys, but even she noticed the small smile he had every time she rambled to him about their misadventures.
“Satoru, you’re too confident for your own good.” Geto sighed, shaking his head with some amusement.
“C’mooonn, Suguru! You know the three of us could take on anyone!” Gojo smirked and nudged Besu for backup. “What do you think, Besu?”
“I can’t make a comment on this.” She chuckled. “I’m sure we could hold our own, but I’d rather not tempt fate at the ripe age of thirteen.”
“You’re no fun!” Gojo poked her cheek and she smacked his hand.
“While you may be pure chaos, Satoru, Besu actually has a logical head on her shoulders to balance out her chaotic behavior.” Geto said evenly.
“Yeah, but if I had asked her without you around she would have agreed!” Gojo leaned his head on Besu’s shoulder with a dazzling simper on his lips. “Wouldn’t you, Besu?”
“Satoru, I am not fighting the world to satisfy your appetite for destruction.” Besu snorted, ruffling his hair to make him get off of her. “If I was going to do that, I’d have joined my father’s crusades across the country long before now.”
“We can invite him, too!” Gojo taunted.
“I’m sure you’d have his blessing.” Geto added with a playful nudge.
“But you surely wouldn’t have mine.” Baekho rumbled, swirling into existence by Besu’s feet. “Just because you are capable of great destruction doesn’t mean you should cause it.”
“Party pooper!” Gojo stage-whispered to Geto.
“Aren’t you supposed to be yin to the dragon’s yang? The most fearsome auspicious beast meant to cause wanton destruction?” Geto quirked a brow.
“Just because I am capable of great destruction does not mean I should cause it.” Baekho reiterated. “I am known to be a harbinger of death and destruction, but that does not mean it is all that I am. At my core, I am not unlike Besu here.” Besu felt peace in the coolness of her tiger’s cursed energy as Baekho rubbed her misty head against her hand.
“Are you saying we should fear Besu as we fear you?”
“Baekho isn’t scary!” Besu frowned at Geto. “She’s my friend!”
“I believe he’s talking of a different type of fear, Cub.” Baekho chuffed. “He speaks of a fear that strikes awe into mens’ hearts. And to answer your question, young Suguru, yes. Though I am perhaps biased a bit in favor of my own cub. She has a ways to go, though, before she earns her stripes.”
“Why do you call Besu your cub? Did you and her dad have a little too much fun in the spirit realm?” Gojo snickered.
“No. I call Besu my cub just as I would call any of you my cubs. Though I am known for destruction at times, most of it has only ever been created in the thralls of my own protective nature for humanity. I’m sure you’ve also heard tales of my dedication to justice and morality.”
“Suguru!” A faint, female voice called as the group closed in on Geto’s house. “It’s almost past your curfew! Come on!”
“Thank you, Baekho, for your time and insight.” Geto gave her a little bow before giving his goodbyes and jogging the rest of the way home.
“Ugh. Don’t you ever get tired of defending the weak, though, Baekho?” Gojo pouted.
“It is all a matter of perspective, young Satoru.” Baekho rumbled. “If you only see people as a measure of weakness or strength, then you’ve missed out on the most beautiful part of humanity. You’ve reduced everyone to nothing more than common beasts based on your own subjective ideals.”
“Subjective? Everyone knows what strength or weakness looks like!”
“You know what it looks like to you, perhaps. And there is a communal view of strength and weakness for the majority, surely. But look at Besu. Do you think she’s weak?”
“Of course not! She was taught by the King of Curses and you’ve attached your spirit to her.” Gojo scoffed. “Who would be dumb enough to call that weak?”
Besu shrunk a little and tilted her head down as they rounded another corner, making her miss a flash of black hair moving into the shadows as they walked.
“And yet Besu believes herself to be weak and unfit to be your friend. Mere physical strength is not the only measure of strength as a whole.” Baekho’s ears twitched and she halted, eyes trained on the empty streets ahead. Her head tilted back to the alley behind them. “Sometimes strength lies in being the weakest and still enduring every hit landed. Sometimes strength lies in being weak and knowing you need help. And sometimes,” Baekho bared her teeth as her eyes locked on the dark alley across from them. “Strength lies down an abandoned alleyway.”
Besu only had time to turn her head when a man flew from the alley, honed in on Gojo. Of course, he never made it past Baekho.
Instinctively, Besu shoved Gojo behind her, eyes locked on this strange man. Black hair. Scar on his lip. Oh no. Just like she’d known Satoru Gojo upon her first glance, Besu’s father had warned her about Toji Fushiguro. While the Curse King might have no issue fighting such a man, Besu still had training and growing to do.
“What business do you have here?” Baekho snarled, teeth poised at Toji’s throat.
“What do you mean? You have any idea how much money I could get for Satoru Gojo’s head alone? But to find out he’s hanging with the princess of curses, well…” He chuckled. “That sounds like a two for one sale if I ever heard one.”
Besu witnessed Toji’s strength first hand as he shoved Baekho away from him and went for Gojo first, who was running headlong into the fight with a grin.
“Satoru, don’t!” Besu screamed, but her plea fell on deaf ears.
“I can take on this coward!” Gojo laughed, before time seemed to slow as Toji’s fist connected with the infinity of his stomach and sent him flying back. “Try and fight me when you can’t hit me!”
What are you doing, Cub? Get up! Fight! Baekho shouted in her mind, rallying on Toji as he moved with such speed he seemed to teleport.
Besu shook her head and her training took over. Fighting a foe as fast and strong as Toji was second-nature, but even so, she had yet to beat her father in a sparring match. The only advantage she seemed to have in this fight was a second pair of arms. There’s no way we get out of this alive. I need to warn my father. Rally your cursed energy while I hold him off! And Besu did. She focused on the pit of her stomach like her father taught her and moved it up, up, up to the top of her head.
WHACK! The wind was knocked out of her as Toji slammed his fist into her gut. It was nothing compared to her father’s dismantle or cleave, but it still dazed her.
“You should know better than to walk unguarded, Princess.” Toji sneered.
Besu found her mind frozen even as she fought with Baekho in a seamless dance fitting a princess of curses. But everything stopped when Gojo leapt at Toji and she watched him pull out the Inverted Spear of Heaven. Where the hell did he get that?!
“You might be fast and strong, but you still can’t hit me!” Gojo laughed.
“Stop, Gojo!” Besu leapt toward them with a scream.
Her heart stopped when the blade pierced Gojo’s chest and her friend’s eyes widened. When Gojo flopped to the ground in a bloody puddle, anger pooled in her gut as she flipped over Toji, ripping out a chunk of his hair and then grabbing Gojo before darting down the street.
I can hold him off for a little while, Cub, but you won’t be able to run the whole way! I have to get as close to Father as I can or Satoru will die! Terror and venom seeped through her bones with every breath. Her father would be able to heal Gojo. She might die getting him there, but she’d be damned if she let her best friend die.
“Hang on, Satoru. Don’t die yet.” She whispered to her friend. “Dad will save you. He has to.”
A block stood between Besu and her castle when she flew forward, using one pair of arms to catch herself and the other to shelter Gojo. Besu only had time to hide him behind a car before Toji zeroed in on her, pummeling her with blows not unlike her father during training. An innate, feral need to rip the man in front of her limb from limb caused her to grab him with a pair of hands and slam him into the nearest wall with the others.
And suddenly Besu couldn’t move. She defended herself half-heartedly as doubts fluttered through her mind. How could she claim to be any different from her father if those dark urges for destruction eventually won over? Self-defense was one thing, but the desire for Toji’s blood? Though her father subscribed to no such niceties like compassion or love, Besu broke the mold and couldn’t fathom a world without it.
Baekho roared in Besu’s mind, leaping in to hold off Toji again, the color of her spirit now a crimson red in her rage. Baekho, I have to save Satoru, but I can’t be like my father! I don’t want to be fueled by his appetite for destruction! I can’t fight Toji! Then you have condemned young Satoru to death! Besu’s lip quivered as she looked at Satoru’s body behind the car, tears mingling with her own sweat and blood at the thought of him dying. Meanwhile, Baekho fought for her relentlessly in a way she felt she didn’t deserve. If you stand there and do nothing, he will die. If you stand there and forsake your training, you will both die! But how can I say I’m devoted to peace when I have to stoop to such lows to reach it? What you speak of is not peace. You speak of being harmless! A true pacifist is capable of great destruction and chooses peace. Toji struggled under Baekho and a pained roar came from her as he freed his right side. Still she persevered. But if you do not fight right now you are not promoting harmony or helpfulness…you are promoting harmlessness. And you, Little One, are far from harmless.
One final look at Satoru, and Besu noticed his head was tilted up. Glistening blue eyes pleaded with her. Help. His mouth didn’t move, but she could swear she heard the plea uttered from his very soul.
When the angry fire rekindled in Besu’s veins, Baekho turned a different shade: purple. And suddenly Besu felt unstoppable as she turned offensive with her tiger companion. Her speed doubled and, while Toji still matched her enough to block every hit, she could tell he hadn’t been expecting the barrage of assaults between the two of them.
We have to end this quickly for Satoru. I don’t know how much longer he’ll live! Then let’s finish him. Use the technique your father taught you. And though Besu had never executed a dismantle or cleave successfully, she let instincts take over as she dodged a swing of Toji’s sword and swiped two of her fingers in front of her, aiming for Toji’s throat.
When she felt the technique hit but Toji still landed with a grin, Besu stopped breathing. Real fear clawed into her throat as she wondered what her death might mean for the already doomed fate of Japan.
But her shoulders slumped with relief when Toji’s smiling head fell off his shoulders with a thud, and the rest of his mangled body plopped forward. She dashed over to Satoru and cradled him in her arms again, ignoring the burning pain saturating her every limb. Gojo remained her only concern.
“FATHER!” She yelled through the mansion as soon as she stepped in, only able to make it through the threshold before her body gave out on her.
Blood soaked the entry rug when her father’s face came into view.
“What are you–Besu?” Annoyance gave way to alarm as Sukuna flashed to her side. “What the hell happened?!”
“Toji.” It was the only explanation she needed to give for now, especially as exhaustion claimed her. After she set Gojo’s limp body in front of him, a sob tore from her chest. “Dad…please don’t let Satoru die.”
Her body didn’t wait for his answer as the world turned black.

I've had a lot of thought about the chapter 236, the way Gojo's death was framed and handled. Now that my hopes for his return dwindle, I am getting around to putting them all in one place with manga panels for reference. I am only going to discuss the chapter in the context of character relationships and narrative wise, a lot of people smarter than me have already analyzed the Buddhist symbolism that hints at Gojo's resurrection.
There will be two parts, both operating under different asuumptions. First one takes the fact of Gojo's death at face value with no hope for his return. In contrast, the second part will be all about how 236 is a perfect set up for Satoru's recurrection. It requires a lot of trust in Gege's writing and planning ahead and as of now I don't have much faith but analysing the possibility of it was fun, so I am including it.
Part One or An Unsatisfaying Attempt At A Satisfying End
Right of the bat we can agree that the chapter is trying to really hard to sell that this is the satisfying ending for Gojo Satoru, him going out in a fight against the one who matches his power, dying without regrets.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/776d68c04836b10e93fa33e5a5061ef9/3e2e2c610aa249c3-97/s540x810/f324f37d98e61030dae69ffae5ef9af1d77d5ffd.jpg)
Yet the chapter contradicts itself, the more I think of it the more it feels like it's trying to fool not just the readers, but Satoru himself into thinking he has no regrets. Just earlier he thinks about Megumi and not telling him about his dad.
Perhaps I am reading into this too much, but it feels like he is pushing those thoughts away to maintain the allusions of having no regrets. There is no mention of Sukuna possesing Megumi or anything about his students now having to face Sukuna in his stead. Ultimately he failed, not just in reaching Sukuna as Gojo says so himself but saving Megumi and protecting his students. He doesn't acknowledge it because in doing so he will admit he died with regrets.
This chapter is a pinnacle of focus on Satoru's selfishness, the separation between him and other sorcerers.
Haibara's words feel harsh (Satoru even looks upset) and while not entirely wrong, they aren't the full truth. Satoru cares and we have many proofes of it. The most obvious is him opening his domain for as little as possible to protect the people in Shibuya, him becoming a teacher and his desire to protect the youth of his students.
All of those examples focus only on Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer. If you see only his strength, it is no wonder you think he only fights for the kick of it, that this death is fitting. It is a worthy end to the strongest sorcerer, finally having met his match.
Now, with the assumption of this chapter being truly the end for Gojo Satoru, there were ways to keep the focus on him not having any regrets while acknowledging his failures. Just have him say "I wish I could be there for them, but ultimately I know they do not need me. They are my students after all." But for now it feels like a cheap attempt to make it a good ending without actually putting in the work for it to be satisfying narratively wise. I would actually prefer an acknowledgement of Satoru's failures and how there was still so much he could do, both as the strongest and as a teacher. Unless....
Part Two or The Fitting End For The Strongest Sorcerer, Complete Ego Death, And Path To Enlightment.
A more hopeful conclusion I've made after hours of overthinking is the possibility of all of it being intentional. Losing to Sukuna is what will help Satoru reevaluate his own beliefs and how he views his relationships with others. Losing to Sukuna is Satoru also losing his title of the strongest and with it the mindset tied to it and the way people perceive it, as shown both by him and the people in the after life
Something I've concluded in the previous part is how the entire chapter is only about one aspect of Gojo's character, focus only on his strength. It is further supported by him being depicted as his teenage self, whose entire identity was built upon the fact that he is the strongest.
Everyone we see in the afterlife can be related back to Gojo's blue spring. Geto Suguru, his closest friend and his equal; Nanami Kento, his friend and ally, the one who followed his selfless ideals to the very end; Haibara Yu, admittedly we don't know much about his and Satoru's interactions, but we could theorize that it was his death that caused Satoru to want to protect the youth of young sorcerers; Yaga Masamichi, his teacher who he cares for. And then the three people who symbolized the shift in that mindset: Kuroi Misato, Amanai Riko and Fushiguro Toji. He failed to protect the former two, showing that he is not yet the strongest, and the fight with latter, that brings him on the verge of death, makes him stronger than before.
All of those people are in some way connected to Satoru but it is interesting that another character isn't there. Fushiguro Tsumiki*. It could be that she is just less important to him but I believe it is because he met her when his goals shifted towards those we see in the series. He already has a dream, to build a new jujutsu society for which he needs strong allies, which is why he takes Megumi in (Gege's words, not mine). That would also explain why Nobara and Megumi aren't there, even if I would like to believe it's because they aren't dead yet (Gege is allergic to confirming their status).
I would prefer a proper resurrection but Satoru returning through seance the way Toji did would not only be a call back to the parallels between them but also allow for him to truly let go of his regrets the way Toji did.
What I am trying to say in so many words is that I want to believe 236 symbolizes true ego death for Gojo Satoru, a change in mindset that will allow him to build authentic connections with the people around him when he comes back, him leaving his past and his regrets behind.
All of this requires for Gege to have any amout of care for the characters and writing skills so I doubt it would happen but it's a nice thing to think about. I am more inclined to believe that Gege messed up in their attempts to make Satoru's end satisfying and will continue believing. Unless Gojo actually comes back.

choso and/or megumi? :)
im so. i just spent so long typing this out only for the page to crash and delete everything i said. why does tumblr HATE ME anyway thank you for the ask i’ll try to remember everything i said the first time 😭
choso!!
favorite thing about them: his relationship with itadori is so cute! such a good brother! his facial expressions are so cute and silly! literally found out itadori was his brother and went “okay i’ll die for u now”
least favorite thing about them: the fact that they robbed him of his sick shoes in the anime. maybe something else will come up in the future but for now that’s it
favorite line: i got two! *in a life or death situation* can u just call me onii chan like once please please please please (paraphrasing), *facing kenjaku after finding out that they’re his dad and yuuji’s mom* “hey little bros look at this im gonna kill our parent
brOTP: gotta go w yuuji since they are in fact bros. his relationship w mahito is so silly to me tho, and i’d love to see him interact with todo!
OTP: i dont really have one. rn i think he’s too focused on his brothers to think abt that
nOTP: its not a no for me per se just that i think choso and yuki are very one sided. yuki clearly likes him but he’s too focused on yuuji rn
random headcanon: i can see him having a long skincare routine with a fluffy hairband
unpopular opinion: i think he is frequently mischaracterized in the name of fitting ppl’s sexual fantasies about him. ofc im all for having fun but i noticed it does impact broader perceptions of his character sometimes. could say this about any jjk man tho.
song i associate with them: mmmm maybe sunflower by post malone, don’t have a reason for it buy yea
favorite picture of them: have two
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/207dde5b2c46e0a024848ede5d8ff63b/b1f880b3dada9863-d3/s540x810/29c6f2e21992dcdc1803ee6e7578b1bcfd1971a4.jpg)
MEGUMIIIII
favorite thing about them: he is me i am him we are the same. realistic depiction of what it is like to be abandoned by your parental figure and then be told you’re “special” for some reason and now too much is expected of you but you never wanted this in the first place. i could raise him so well let me adopt him. I Will Take Care Of Him.
least favorite thing about them: can’t. that’s my son.
favorite line: soooo many but i think about “so start by saving me itadori” DAILY. hourly even.
brOTP: love his relationship with kugisaki. would love to see him with yuuta more for purely self indulgent reasons that are not related to my dancers au….
OTP: obviously gotta go with ITAFUSHI i could talk abt them for hours. a brain virus fr they’re everything to me.
nOTP: 🧑💻 megumi & sukuna, megumi & toji, megumi & gojo, megumi & mai, etc. i try not to yuck other ppls yum but uh. i couldn’t even decide which of these was worst.
random headcanon: uhhh this ones a sad one, but i think before gojo came along, he and his sister were starving (compared to other characters shown as kids he looks much bonier), so even into adulthood, he has a hard time gaining weight from the effects of childhood malnutrition and as a result, is a bit less physically strong than he could potentially be (still very strong tho)
unpopular opinion: you already know what im gonna say. most overhated character in jjk. yall need to get off his back before i get violent im so serious rn everything he does is a perfectly valid reaction to the trauma he’s been through since he was literally a toddler
song i associate with them: i got so many…recently been thinking of dreams of losing teeth by suave punk & moon i already know by mount eerie the most
favorite picture of them: soo many…unhinged megumi vs pocket sized gumi i cant pick

Aww loved the latest prompt chapter so much I'm a big sucker for Yuuji naming a kid after his grandfather it gets me feeling all warm and fuzzy every time. I won't lie I think having an adorable little paradox child running through the timeline causing problems is karma for Sukuna, I hope all of his children are little rascals all their lives. May they all be even bigger brats than their daddy, and may they all have him wrapped around their little fingers. Sukuna telling the kids Yuuji took his other set of arms because he was bad is the funniest thing. I love the thought of him being kind of a silly dad with his kids 10/10. I grew up in a family with multiple speech language pathologists so unfortunately reading little Wasuke's sound substations sent me into multiple flash backs of my mother talking about how she thought my childhood sound substations were super cute but she was always praying that I'd get past them quickly because she specialized in helping the elderly and didn't know pediatric speech therapy techniques so she would have had to ask a colleague for help which would have been super embarrassing to her. Imagine the child of a speech therapist needing speech therapy (I did in fact grow out of the sound substations normally). See I probably spent way too long trying to remember my childhood lectures on speech development instead of focusing on the fluff, lol (side note speech therapists are trained to decide on the best course of action for their patients and stick to it and fight hard for what they think is best which has the fun side effect of making them super stubborn at times if you ever want entertainment get two of them to argue about something they do not back down (at least all the ones I know don't. I can't speak for all of them)). As you can probably guess I really liked the chapter but it sure brought up some memories ok enough reminiscing back to what you wrote. Gojo gets brownie points for being smart enough to ask little Wasuke people's names to figure out who his parents were good choice. Nobbie is an adorable nickname I'm so glad that she's clearly still good friends with Yuuji in the future 💖. Poor Megumi getting roasted huh you would think he'd have grown out of the need to summon at the drop of a hat but nope apparently he does it enough for it to be his defining feature in little Wasuke's eyes. I hope he uses his summons as free baby sitters, imagine the great general adapting vocal cords so it could sing baby shark to the kids (this may seem sweet but its actually an act of strategic psychology warfare against Sukuna by ensuring he'll never escape that song). At the very least, he could call up a bunch of bunnys for the children to run around with to tire them out a bit when they're being rowdy so he can put them down for a nap. Future Wasuke what a cutie is that poor boy trying to keep track of all his past paradoxes so he can go save himself that sounds like so much work good luck little guy. I won't lie time travel paradoxes break my brain a bit kinda glad this is just a one shot so I don't have to think about it too much 😅. Sukuna getting offended at the thought that he couldn't be a good dad was funny love that man. Man all Yuuji's friends handled the fact that he's going to have kids with Sukuna super well that's sweet. Yuuji now gets to tell future Wasuke that he loved him and thought he was adorable even before he was born ❤️💖💓💞💕❤️. Very nice thank you for writing and sharing with us 😀 😊 ☺️ 😄.
Glad you enjoyed! Have a few of these little family prompts to come through, so perhaps more little Wasuke in the future lol Time paradoxes use to confuse me until I realize you just have to complete the circle on them, aka making sure it all happens in the right sequences XD Older Wasuke is so desperate to keep track of it all... working double time!
It was a fun little write as it is fun to write family fics like this <3 makes me excited for when some of my long fics get to this point just for the fluff <3
Thank you so much for the long comments! I love reading them and really enjoyed getting all those little tidbits!< 3

I also think that a lot of why people (myself included) say that they want gojo to come back is because gojos death was kind of done poorly and rushed. And like the only explanation for how kind of bad it was is that he’ll come back? Like there were several other ways to nerf him that would have been satisfying for his character (like losing his six eyes). He would have to live just as Satoru Gojo not as ‘the strongest’ which would be interesting for his character because that’s all he’s ever known. Killing him off also didn’t really move the plot either. Maybe there’s some stuff we’ll find out about later down the line that’s will make me feel differently but like you wasted almost five months with this Sukuna fight just for it to end like that and now we’re back at square one before the fight started. You could have kept gojo in the prison realm and gotten the same affect. But I guess we’ll have to see how the series progresses to have a better understanding. Also, I noticed how his afterlife scene was similar to Kakashi’s with his dad so if you wanted more gojo will come delusions here ya go😂
Its always hard to judge when it's not complete. Especially since geges writing relies alot on flashbacks. I'm guessing we will get more flashbacks that might fill the gaps in and make things feel more complete, but who knows 😭
tbh I've seen the sentiment that alot of people think the fight was a waste of time, but I actually don't feel that way towards it. Other than it being a really cool fight (im a big battle shounen nerd so a big part of my enjoyment from jjk is just the cool fights lol) I actually think it showed us an interesting side of both gojo and sukuna. It was almost ....wholesome (?) in a way to see the two of them have so much fun finally getting to face an opponent they deemed to be their equal. Both share alot of similarities and honestly can probably understand eachother in a way no one else can. Despite the circumstances, this fight was probably one of the happiest times in each of their lives. I think it was an interesting thing to showcase for both of their characters.
seeing sukuna afterwards and his final words to gojo were also oddly sweet (????) Some of it is lost in translation, but here's an explanation of one of the lines in jp that sukuna says to gojo at the end:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/61e719c39e74ff4f6bed5b15b88ecea5/e457c207446ec9fd-99/s540x810/057f7d42157ac94847205e15e20b3c839ee07c3a.jpg)
"You cleared my skies, Gojo Satoru" like ???? Same, sukuna, same. 😭
Anyways sorry to get off topic and ramble. I think for now I'll still hold off on judging how things were executed until I can finally see the full story. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me tho! I really like listening to other people's perspectives on things !! :)
And omg yes the Kakashi parallels!!! how many times will I be hurt by a mangaka over the potential death of a white haired sensei character 💀
#i really hope we get more info and things end up explained more tho#ty again for messaging me!! i really love hearing everyones thoughts :D

Kiana Sueyoshi
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/3f38299256716fdd26468f0866a84920/c05e6e838f15cc54-59/s540x810/366908c1267a0e58aefbc563e7706ae525c67c3a.jpg)
1. Name, Year, Major, and Hometown
Kiana Sueyoshi, I am a 3rd year transfer, studying bio-psychology/pre-med, and I am from Sacramento, California.
2. What is your earliest childhood memory?
Strangely, I think my earliest childhood memory is getting all my immunizations before I was able to start school. I remember getting the shots in my thighs and at the time it was probably really scary, but when I think about it, maybe that being my first memory is part of why I gravitated towards medicine as a career. Me and healthcare are just trauma bonded or something.
3. What’s stopping you?
Literally nothing, I do whatever I want, within reason. I am the kind of person who does things by myself because I would not want to defer enjoyment of something just because someone won’t do it with me.
4. What is something about yourself that you’re proud of?
My whole personality tbh. But not in the way where I think I am the best person to exist. More so just that I know I have come a long way and have been able to change a lot for the better. I used to be really mean and kind of a loner. Now I’m just less mean and less of a loner lmao.
5. If you could have any one question answered truthfully, what would it be?
Is pregnancy going to kill me?
6. Who is your celebrity/fictional crush?
Right now the flavor of the month is Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. But my teen hood favorite was Adam Driver/Kylo Ren.
7. How would you spend your ideal birthday?
I would just like to be at home with my parents, my boyfriend, and my dad’s side of the family, maybe eating some sushi, and strawberry cheesecake. We would be swapping stories, quoting movies, and laughing the whole time.
8. What food that starts with the first letter of your name would you only eat for the rest of your life?
Kimchi. It’s just so tasty and awesome. Even though it’s probably not sustainable because it has no protein.
9. What’s one niche interest you have that you must share with the world?
Y’all are really sleeping on ice hockey. It is actually so interesting and entertaining. It's not even particularly hard to learn the rules so it can be enjoyed by anyone, even if they are watching for the first time. Also they get to punch each other legally, isn’t that fun?
10. What is a memory with your closest friend and how does it exemplify your friendship together and how you value friendship as a whole (250 words minimum)
A few years ago, around Christmas time, I was working at my old job, which was a boba place. It’s a slow night at the store so I am scrolling on my phone a little bit, and I keep seeing on social media, how lots of people I know are going to Rolling Loud, a rap music festival that I had never been to at the time, but absolutely wanted to attend so badly. I knew that a very good friend of mine, Kevin, was going with one of his friends, and as expected, I was super jealous. The festival was just a few days away, so I texted Kevin asking him to make sure to take lots of pictures and videos for me to see when he comes back. When he texted me back, he said something that surprised the hell out of me. He said “actually about that. The friend that I was going with spontaneously canceled because she had some last minute work responsibilities that she could not get out of. The hotel, the pass for the weekend, and the transportation are already paid for, so do you want to come with me instead? All you have to do is say yes and everything is ready to go.” Now, you may think, Kiana, you’re just saying that this is your favorite memory with a friend because he basically gave you an all inclusive trip to something you’ve wanted to go to for a long time. While it is a great memory for that reason (I mean come on what a great friend right?), this moment was so pivotal for our friendship because it kickstarted a much deeper connection between us. Even though I had known him for years at this point, we had never spent so much time together one on one, and it really gave me the opportunity to get to know him on a deeper level, as well as have an awesome shared experience together. This exemplifies our friendship as a whole because it demonstrates the generosity and consideration we have for each other. Along the way, there have been times where he has really needed my help, sometimes financially, and I never think twice about providing my support because of this moment. He has taught me how to be more empathetic, more selfless, a better listener, and just to be the kind of person who could put faith back into humanity. As the years have gone on, I find that I’ve shaped my values of friendship based on the model he provided, and I try to be the kind of friend to others that he has always been to me.

real i feel like mahitos defeat was so underwhelming... like that absolutely sick ass scene of the bunny and the wolf was so cool and then wtf ... he gets Eaten by kenny .... like ok what evverrrr just write the best written villain ive ever seen and then give him such an underwhelming death
brah i love noritoshi kamo why did his parents name him that he did nofing wrong ...... he was just a boy stressed out but he gets soooooooooo fine later in the manga .......
no like sometimes gege's writing is so amazing and sometimes its .. Interesting ..... like i dont think he should kill off all of the favorites just for kicks n giggles ... but it was a miracle bringing back my goat kugisaki
yess bro i agree they all have such cool powers like i would KILL for takaba's cursed technique i find everything funny ....
ur so right i dunno how he'll do it all in 5 chapters like i dont wanna go thru 200 something chapters just for like a fast forward to play or something .... but i rem, ember reading something about how gege apparently said that jjk would either end with everyone dying and yuji living, or everyone living and yuji dying which scares me cus nobaras back .... AND ALL THOSE SPECULATIONS ABOUT MEGUMI'S TIGER PARADE LIKE OH GODD NOOO MY ITAFUSHIII
NO LIKE ............. i hate naoyas personality bad booooo sexism boooooooo noooo terrible ... HOWEVER ................................ hes a little hot sorry
the lineart thing is so real like it looks traced even tho its my own art like i dont know how people do lineart without it looking weirddd .. and sugar baby gojo i luv him
everyone hated mahito for a reason!!! becuase hes a good villain and at least he kills because it is his nature as a curse. i loved the comparison that was drawn between him and yuji i felt like it was eye opening. i thought yuji would at least get to rip his skin off but noooo daddyjaku had to come in at the last moment and just... eat him??! that doesnt complete the cycle vro
I SAW THE THING ABOUT MEGUMIS TIGER PARADE THAT WAS SO SAD i think yujis death is inevitable though.... think about it
gojo was often compared to yuji and yuji + megumi and gojo + geto comparisons are prominent throughout the manga.. train scenes, personality, even like dynamics (gojo/yuji brings simplicity and fun into geto/megumis life while they bring the complexity of being human and not just being a killing machine... fleshing out each others characters, geto/megumi depression, gojo + geto becoming inhabited while yuji + megumi became vessels for sukuna, the trio vs. the other trio, gojo/yuji seen as the strongest in their respective senses while geto/megumi use other creatures (shikigami/cursed spirits), being underestimated but actually also extremely strong and i could go ON) but if gojo died in the great sukuna fight i think yuji will too. esp with the last words with his grandpa, plus the idea when he first fought the first special grade cursed spirit that he didnt want to die and he was going to die with regrets... i think gege might do the last stand of yuji and he will sacrifice himself for the greater good. seems like a way to end jjk to me
i bet u 2$ gege does a flashback to sukuna's heian era that shows him in his prime and shows his character and his sad backstory after sukuna gets defeated
if gojo gets revived i think there will be at least this one way as a possibility: he isnt the strongest anymore due to a binding vow or smth and he is content with living his life as he is weaker. its a trope i really hope doesnt happen with gojo but itd allow for his humanity to sink in more
i hate how gege just kills off his most beloved characters for fun. mei mei next please!
i think it would have been cool to explore some clan dynamics and how they used to work or something else bro please like youve got the whole gojo clan what happened with them???! gojos mom and dad are probably hotties and we wont get to see them
i totally get the shitty personality hottie in body tho thats relatable
but i guess this was all our jujutsu kaisen

gonna put this under a cut. some of this is just my opinion on what i would’ve liked to see/thought logically made sense/had tried to predict earlier on in the story just based on like past foreshadowing.
okay. these may not be in exact order + i will probably think of more things and add to this but out the gate:
nobara returns. she gets her huge power up moment.
we learn if he has/what yuuji’s cursed technique is + what is going on with the false memories people seem to have with him
hana should’ve been in the story more and fleshed out enough so that later, when she’s fighting, we care about what happens to her. her little backstory with megumi was a good start but ultimately falls flat when we don’t get to experience much of her in the story. i think she should’ve been a central player in the culling games instead of the third year or other side characters that came in. i feel like culling games would’ve benefited following hana, yuuji, megumi, and yuuta and their plans to change the rules + get gojo + tsumiki, etc. the whole way. i feel like there was A LOT (too many) chapters without those characters during that arc lol.
kenjaku and sukuna history/flash back. i don’t need a ton. i just feel like this was a missed opportunity to continue to explore themes previously established. would also love to know how sukuna became such a powerful curse.
gojo fights kenjaku. defeats him and can ultimately put getou’s body to rest + finally completes their arc and story.
toji returns one final time somehow, either in memory or what have you. rule of 3s and all that. megumi learns that gojo was the one to kill his father this time.
sukuna takes over yuuji and w his new technique is even more powerful. battle ensues with megumi, nobara, maki, yuuta, etc.
gojo enters the battle. he can defeat sukuna but it will kill yuuji. his students disagree and want to find a way to separate yuuji and sukuna. this probably has something to do with nobara’s technique and how she can touch a soul (maybe can attack sukuna separate from yuuji’s?) gojo doesn’t want to make the same mistake he made with getou and must stop sukuna/yuuji. megumi revolts first against gojo to protect yuuji. the others follow.
bittersweet fight. gojo realizes his students really could surpass him. megumi is the one to defeat him and ultimately kill him. but it’s more like megumi releases him. he can finally rest knowing those more powerful than him will change jujutsu society for the better. and that they’re not alone, but have each other. now he can actually die without regrets.
other fun things i would’ve just enjoyed personally:
i think getou’s girls (nanako and mimiko) were a missed opportunity to set up against megumi, yuuji, and nobara at some point in the story/i think it would’ve been fun to draw parallels, etc.
nobara being more embedded in the story’s lore the way yuuji is a creation of kenjaku and megumi is the son of toji/gojo’s ward. maybe if she’s distantly related to someone? maybe kenjaku or getou? so that there’s suspicion around her being the mole? i just wish her background was more solidly in the lore like the other main characters or even maki’s.
actual dad gojo to megumi and tsumiki. making that one hurt a lil more.
tsumiki fleshed out more and in the story more—i think it’s fun to later use her to be possessed but we like. hardly knew her. and then she was killed. 🙄🙄 akutami you’re never ever beating the sexist allegations now.
i would’ve enjoyed nobara dying in shibuya if she got to Come Back Wrong as a curse or something. and yuuji and megumi now have this feral curse nobara they try to work with. kinda this idea that bonds and love can transcend—i may be drawing too much inspiration from power from csm. but i like the idea of the boys getting nobara as a new curse to remember them, sorta like power’s “when you find the next blood fiend, make them remember you” line.
basically if you can’t tell i wish nobara had gotten more LMAO. i just think she had such potential
honestly the whole story had such potential. it’s a shame how it’s turned out. i’ll probably come back and add more to this list bc i feel like i could talk endlessly about what COULDVE happened in jjk to continue bolstering the themes of like. love as a curse or not. being unable to let go and move on from the past. individual vs the community. being in a surveillance state. hell, even the environmentalism that gets so so so briefly touched on. could’ve been one of those really cool stories where there’s several big worldly themes that then tie into smaller character themes to create a working, full piece. but alas.
does anyone wanna hear my list of things that should’ve happened in jjk before what recently happened
#once more these are just Thoughts and Opinions i’ve had on this series for a long time#i’m sorry if you really love jjk or disagree!! to each their own!!#i’ve just been disappointed with it honestly since we hit the culling games and yuuji finished his battle w the lawyer#am i still gonna write for it and love the characters?? yes#one thing ab me i’m always gonna critique even the things i love okay#anyways#let me know your thoughts!!#am i crazy?? (likely)#do you guys have things you would’ve liked to see??#cielo rambles!#jjk spoilers#jjk leaks

JJK Boys getting hit 'where it hurts' by their kids
Characters: Megumi, Itadori, Yuta, Noritoshi, Nanami, Toji, Naoya, Gojo and Sukuna
Warnings: w e l l, the guys getting hit in the balls, guys grabbing their crotch because pain, emotional distress due to being deeply wounded and betrayed by their own spawn, laughing children, children laughing at pain, children, idk what people think about parenting these days so in Sukuna’s you guys are dealing with a 2 year old, Naoya + Sukuna (I change them for my own convenience), idk man, I just get a kick outta writing these ones
**The boys are (aged up if not already) married with kids, if you don't like the number of kids I gave them, this is just my opinion😌**
Fushiguro Megumi:
You were going out with some friends tonight, so naturally your husband was left to babysit your children.
Which wouldn’t have been a problem, he’s a good dad and more than capable of caring for his kids.
...Except for the fact that Gojo had decided to spend the day with them, and in doing so made sure to fill them up with sugar and excitement before dropping them off and going home with a ‘Have fun with that Megumi~’ because he’s awful.
So now, here Megumi is, his middle son hanging off his back, his youngest daughter in one arm while he wrangled with his oldest son to put his pajama pants on.
“No! I’m not sleepy yet!” His 5 year old son loudly said, along with the oncoming headache Megumi could swear a tick mark had just appeared.
“Too bad, it’s already an hour past your bedtime, you’ll be tired once you put these pants on and get in bed!” He almost had your son, but alas, he slipped out of his grasp at the last second, the sudden movement causing your 1 ½ year old daughter to start crying.
Megumi took a deep breath, shifted so that his daughter rested more on his hip so that he could just barely use his hands and “Demon dog!”
Before his son could react, demon dog had already picked him up by the collar of his shirt, bring him right to Megumi who was able to get one of his sons legs in the pants.
But when he did, his son squirmed, and his little foot came straight up in between Megumi’s legs.
“uGH-” Fighting a cry of pain, megumi finished getting his son dressed, kneeled so his son could slip off of his back and set his little girl down on the couch, before hunching over and just...sitting there for a bit..
Itadori Yuji:
You and Itadori had 2 rambunctious twin boys.
2 rambunctious twin boys who took a lot after their father, and not just in their looks.
They were sweet, fun, lovable kids. But they also had endless amounts of energy and didn’t always look before they leapt. So keeping an extra eye out on them in public was necessary.
Itadori was in the backyard, playing football (The throw kind, not kick kind) with the twins. You had specifically told him to be careful, and he said he would be so you weren’t too worried.
But you sat on the porch while they played, just in case.
Your 2 boys, Junto and Kentaro (😥), were natural athletes, and even if they were only 7, they were no doubt a force to be reckoned with.
They were a good match for Itadori, but I wouldn’t call the game even. Even with the twins vs Itadori, you could tell the twins were going to be tired tonight (not like you’re complaining, at least they’ll actually go to bed on time tonight).
Junto had the ball, he sprinted across the yard, doing his best at ducking and dodging Itadori’s attempts at grabbing him.
The 7 year old was so close to freedom, so close to him and his brother winning the game.
When seemingly out of nowhere his dad came sprinting up behind him, grabbing him from behind and lifting him into the air, your child’s squeals and laughter ringing through the air as your other son came to ‘help him’.
So now, they were where they usually ended up when they played games like this, Itadori with both of his children hanging off of him as they laughed and rough housed.
Itadori is strong, strong willed, strong in character, high levels of endurance. But all it took was one wayward heel to his crotch to bring him to the ground, on his knees as he just sat there, whimpers of pain escaping him.
Your sons scampered off, still laughing while you came to rub a hand up and down your husband’s back while he went on about the pain of their betrayal.
Okkotsu Yuta:
You, Yuta and your 2 kids were sat on the couch, watching a movie together on a Friday night.
It was raining outside with a 65% chance of a thunderstorm, which wasn’t too bad since you guys were inside.
But it wasn’t great since your oldest, your 4 year old daughter Emiko was terrified of storms.
She was sitting in between you two, sitting tucked snugly into Yuta’s side while his arm rested on the back of the couch, you sitting on her other side with your 2 year old son Yuki.
You were about ⅔ of the way through Princess and The Frog, when all of a sudden the lights cut out.
Your little girl screamed and ducked into your husband's side, Yuta in turn held his arms around her and kissed the top of her head, gently shushing her and telling her everything would be okay.
“Yuta?” You could see the shadow of your husband as he stood up, “I’ll be right back, gonna go check the breaker.”
He turned to go check the electrical box when he felt a tug on his sleeve, squinting as he looked down to see the silhouette of his little girl in the dark, quivering from fear.
“Hey, it’s okay Emi, I’ll be right back, but daddy has to go see if he can turn the lights back on.” He watched as she shook her head, grip on his sleeve tightening as she shifted closer to him.
“P-please don’t go...daddy I'm scared.” Yuta sighed, he could feel her shaking.
He knelt down to where she was standing on the floor, about to try and convince her to let him fix the lights, when the living room lit up from lightning, and a boom of thunder sounded throughout the house.
Screaming again, your daughter launched herself at Yuta, throwing her arms around his neck, that he was ready for he knew how much she hated thunderstorms.
What he wasn’t ready for was the swing of her legs bringing her left foot directly to his crotch.
You, who was still cradling your son in your lap (your son took much more after you, so the dark and storms never really bothered him all that much), watched as your husband was now knelt on the ground, shaking as he held your crying daughter.
“I-it’s okay Emi...d-daddy’s *gulp* daddy’s not going anywhere.” As your husband painfully got through that sentence, you could hear the octaves of his voice getting higher and higher with each word.
“...Yuta...are you okay?” You asked, confused as to why your husband sounded like he was in an incredible amount of pain.
All you heard was a weak ‘Mhm’ as he continued to hug his daughter, who, in the arms of her father, was feeling much better.
Just then, the lights switched back on, and there you could see Yuta slumping down further when your daughter let go and hopped back on the couch, burrowing into your side.
“...baby? Are you sure you’re okay-” “i’m fiNE.” Now that the lights were back on, you could see that one of his hands were lower, when the realization of what happened hit, you couldn’t decide whether to comfort him or laugh.
You settled on doing both.
Kamo Noritoshi:
Today, Noritoshi would be teaching your 3 sons how to use a bow and arrow.
You weren’t...too worried, I mean your husband was an expert with the weapon and he was an excellent father but.
They’re still your babies, and they’ll still be handling a dangerous weapon, so you made sure beforehand to remind your husband to be extra careful.
Your sons were 10, 8 and 6. He would have taught your daughters but they’re only 4, and you had to put the age limit somewhere.
You sat with your daughters on the porch, setting out the newspapers and setting the canvases down on top of them. Father’s day was coming up, and you knew Noritoshi would love nothing more from his little girls than pictures they had painted for him.
After you got your daughters started on their paintings, you walked to the other side of the porch to watch as Noritoshi talked to your sons, showing them the proper stance to have and how they should be holding the bow.
You smiled as you thought back to when the two of you were still dating, it had been about 3 months since you two had gotten together, and you remember it had been a day-date the two of you had, where he was teaching you how to use a bow. Long story short, he may have used the excuse to teach you how to use the bow to have your first kiss, but you still remember how fun it was to learn how to use it.
You also may or may not have been admiring how nice he looked using a bow. Now that he was older Noritoshi had let his hair grow longer, today it was kept in a low bun, he was also wearing a tighter fitting t-shirt.
You smirked as his eyes caught your own, you being less than obvious about checking him out as he shook his head, suppressing a laugh as he continued to teach the boys.
He snuck a glance at you, a single glance, wanting to admire his wife’s beauty, but that one glance was enough time for his middlest son, who he left in possession of the bow, to swing around and catch him right in his crotch.
Your jaw dropped and your hand came up to your mouth as you gasped, watching your first-grade powerful sorcerer husband bend over with his hands clamped down on his knees, your sons gasping before backing away.
You made your way down to Noritoshi, softly calling his name before your resolve cracked and you started laughing.
You wiped the tears that had started to slip out of your eyes as your laughter died down, only to start laughing again when your husband glared at you saying ‘You raised them that way’ as he tried to steady his breathing.
Nanami Kento:
Nanami was standing with all the other mom’s and dad’s who were waiting to pick up their kids, texting you that he was there and asking for the grocery list since he’d go ahead and get the groceries on his way home.
You were at a doctor’s appointment for a checkup, you were 4 more months away from having your 2nd child, so Nanami offered to leave work a little early and pick your 3 year old daughter Kumiko up from preschool.
It wasn’t long until the school bell rang, the preschool teacher leading the students out of the building.
Nanami slipped his phone into his pocket, eyes sifting through the crowd of kids to find his little girl.
Once he saw those familiar pigtails bouncing towards him, he smiled, patting her head when she ran into his leg and hugged him.
He gently took hold of her hand and they made their way to his car.
“How was your day sweetheart?” He smiled as her face lit up, her recounting her day and telling him all about her friends and the things they did in school.
Usually you’d be the one to pick her up from school, but due from now on Nanami would be taking her to and from preschool.
Which was no problem he didn’t mind, he just had to remember to put her car seat in his car.
“Wait here, I have to get your car seat.” He shook his head with a small chuckle when she responded with an enthusiastic ‘Okay!’ as she looked around while he got her seat out of the trunk.
While he was fighting to get it free she was getting a little antsy cause...backpacks at that age are heavy man.
She had it sitting on her elbows, little huffs coming out as she resisted the urge to let it drop to the ground, knowing full and well that wouldn’t fly with her dad.
Nanami lifted the seat out of the trunk, closing it and walking back around to the back seat, his view was unfortunately blocked by the seat, so he didn’t see how his daughter was swinging her bag back and forth.
He was one step away from being able to put the seat in the car when his daughter turned exceptionally fast, her bag and all the weight carried with it being swung right into his crotch.
His daughter gasped and turned back around when she heard her dad quietly shout in pain, the car seat being ‘gently’ set on the ground as he bent over, groaning as his daughter stood there, little hands covering her mouth, and also her giggles.
“There’s no doubt about it, she’s your daughter. Not only was she not paying attention, but she also laughed at me when I was in pain.” You threw your head back in laughter as your husband pouted as he rolled away from you towards the other side of the bed, you rubbing his back with a ‘Sorry honey~’, both of you knowing that you really weren’t😌
Fushiguro Toji:
**In this, for his/your kids imma just stick with 5 & 6 year old Megumi and Tsumiki cause it makes sense :p**
Toji had gotten home late last night from a mission, and after a shower and a quick meal he crashed the moment he hit you guys’ bed.
It was now approximately 10:30 am the next day. Toji had woken up earlier, but not even the dark roast black cup of coffee he had could stop him from taking a long nap on the couch.
He had no problem with sleeping the day away, his kids however, they had quite the problem with it.
“*Sigh* Mommy...when’s daddy gonna be awake? Our favorite show is gonna come on soon and he’s taking up the couch.” You turned away from the sink where you were washing the dishes to see Megumi and Tsumiki standing by the counter. Normally you’d encourage them to play with their toys or outside instead, but they had been very well behaved this week and your husband needed to wake up some time.
“Probably soon, he came in late last night, so he’s really tired.” Megumi gave you one of his ‘looks’ while huffing, “Mommy, daddy’s always tired, is it okay if we wake him up?”
You turned the water off as you turned to face him, eyebrow raised as your arms crossed over your chest.
“Are you going to hit him?” “No” “Are you going to pour water on him?” “No” “Are you going to use your shikigamI?”...”Megumi?” “*sigh*...no” Shaking your head you failed to suppress a smile, “Be nice”.
So, your 2 children set out on a mission, mission ‘get dad off of the couch so we can watch cartoons’
It was a solid plan really, although you had removed several options on how they would be able to do said plan, but alas Megumi was a resourceful child and really wanted to watch his cartoons.
Toji had briefly woken up, he was laying on his back, and one of his arms was slung over his eyes, trying to block out the sunlight.
He could hear the sounds of the water running and dishes being moved, along with the light thuds that no doubt came from his children running around and causing chaos.
He was just about to doze back off, just about to get more sleep, when “ATTACK!!” Before he could so much as block his children came hurdling over the side of the couch, Tsumiki landing on his legs while Megumi landed right on his abdomen.
Or rather, meant to, his aim and perception of his father’s height was a little off, so his knee landed a little lower than he would have intended, not like he really thought too hard about it beforehand. Megumi had cartoons to watch and his dad was just an obstacle😞💅.
Toji, who was now wide awake, sat up, hands clutching at his clutch while he stared wide eyed at his children who were nonchalantly sitting on the now mostly available couch, turning the TV to the right channel.
“W-how-why?! You tryin’ to kill me?!” Megumi looked at his father with boredom, shrugging his shoulders with an ‘I dunno’ before turning back to his show. Toji getting up to slump around your shoulders as you broke out in laughter when he told you what happened.
Zen'in Naoya:
People could say what they want about Naoya, that he was stuck up, acted like he was too good for this world, and your personal favorite that he must be a terrible father because he was Naoya Zen’in.
But here he was, dodging his laughing children as they ran around, trying to tag him as he smiled, dipping right at the perfect moment so they couldn’t quite catch him.
You shook your head, leaning against the railing as you watch your husband play with your son and daughter, a smile present on his face as his lightly colored hair swooshed around him.
It was good to see how truly happy he was nowadays, no longer being put up on a pedestal, no longer under the heavy pressure that came from being in the Zen’in clan, and out of the watchful eyes of his family. It was good to see him being himself. Could he still be a jerk? Absolutely. Did he ever dare act that way towards you or your babies? Absolutely not.
“Close, but not close enough.” Your son furrowed his eyebrows as he faced his dad, “That’s not fair! You cheated!” Your little girl echoing his pout as her hands sassily placed themselves on her hips.
Naoya laughed, hand coming up to his chest as he leaned down in front of his children so that his hands were resting on his knees.
“What? Cheating...why would you go and accuse me of that?!” You could tell he was fighting a smile, the way the corners of his lips kept tugging upwards as he struggled to maintain a face of confusion.
“You know what you did dad! You used your speed! And that’s cheating!”
Naoya shook his head, “I would never, right Y/n? I’d never betray my own flesh and blood-” Just as he had turned around to face you, his son had taken a step forward, braced himself, and swung his leg up right in between his father’s and right into his balls.
Shrieking Naoya fell the the grass shaking as he stayed in a modified version of the fetal position as his oldest son ran with his arms raised in victory and his daughter crouched down next to him, poking him asking him if he was dead.
You were still on the porch doubled over in laughter.
“Y-you might not betray your own flesh and blood *wheeze* but they sure did betray you!”
Choso:
Choso and you had taken your 4 year old daughters to the park.
Your guys had 2 wonderful little girls, and even though they were fraternal twins they were still incredibly similar, both in looks and in personality.
As soon as you guys got to the park your girls took off with their cousins (Itadori’s kids cause obviously, it was a play date<3) to go play while you, Choso and the remaining Itadori’s went to sit at one of the pavilions.
You guys had been there for just about an hour when your kids came running back, asking if you guys could push them on the swings.
Choso took one daughter while you took the other, Itadori and his wife doing the same with their sons.
Choso couldn’t keep the smile off his face watching his family, and his extended family being all in one place, all having a good time. He almost shed a tear at how whole he felt, at how fulfilled he felt.
“Daddy! Higher!” Choso smiled wider, “Okay, but you have to hold on! Don’t let go!”. And so, using his big muscles, he (responsibly of course, he’s a good dad and you were right there.) pushed her higher and higher.
Memories of doing this with his own brothers flashed through his head and he couldn’t help but sigh with bliss as he thought about little Yuji doing the same thing.
“Higher!” Not quite thinking, he obliged with his daughters request, the action not quite resonating that he’d need to take a good step back because she was going higher, and also coming back further.
Just when his daughter came swinging back, he realized he was a little too close, and he would’ve been fine, except for the fact that as she went back, her legs curled back, her heels catching him right in between his legs.
Choso could feel his soul leave his body, his body freezing as his daughter gasped, stopping herself as quickly (and as safely since you came over to help her) as she could so she could hop off of her swing and turn to her dad, tugging on her sleeve with worry in her eyes.
This of course attracted the attention of his other child, nephews and most unfortunate of all, his brother. Who when he learned what had happened, burst from the seams of laughter watching his older sister stay kneeled on the ground in pain.
Gojo Satoru:
Gojo didn’t get a lot of time off.
Not only was he a full time teacher, mentor and the strongest sorcerer alive, but he was also a husband and a father, and somehow he managed it quite well to be honest.
You can imagine he was pretty busy, hence he didn’t get a lot of time off.
But when he did, you better believe he spent it with his family.
You guys had 3 boys (I just feel like he’s one that would want multiple kids, so when he is gone, no body’s left alone🥺),and he was always sure to spend time with all 3 equally, being careful never to leave anyone out.
At this particular moment, he was with your 8 year old, your oldest son.
They were playing with swords, and it came as no surprise to you that it was your husband's idea in the first place to play with said swords.
“En garde!” You watched from the doorway as your husband and oldest son fought with the swords, your husband had obviously turned off his infinity to ‘level the playing field’, even though you both knew that wouldn’t do much.
But to his son, it was all he needed to take his old man down.
“Whoa there, you tryin’ to kill me little guy?” Gojo said as he narrowly avoided his eye being poked out by the sword. “Yeah, be careful baby. Those eyes are his only redeeming feature.” Gojo sputtered as your son giggled as you smirked, kissing your son on his head and ruffling his hair before doing the same to your husband who pulled you down for a kiss on the lips.
Being *disgusted* by his parents actions, your son turned around to continue practicing his swordsmanship, completely oblivious to you leaving the room and Gojo walking up behind his son.
Deciding he had mastered his new ‘technique’ his sons eyes lit up, and with his sword ready he turned round ready to show his dad his new trick.
“Hey dad! Check this-” As soon as his upper body had spun around the thick foam sword he had been wielding thrust itself directly into Gojo’s crotch, causing the man to slump to his knees, then to his side, hands still guarding his lower region as he shook.
Your son then got up, eyes wide as he slowly slipped out of the room, telling you ‘Dad’s down….I think he’s gonna be down for a while.’ when he passed you in the hallway.
Sukuna Ryomen:
You and your husband Sukuna’s son had just turned 2 a couple of months ago, and so far the so called ‘terrible twos’ had been far more than terrible, and you were starting to think it was genetic…
“I- what do you mean no?! You like carrots!” You sighed as your fingers massaged your temples, watching as your husband fought with your toddler to get him to eat his lunch.
“No, I don’t like them daddy.” Your son huffed, his dark brows drawn close together as he returned the glare Sukuna was giving him.
When this started happening, you had obviously stepped in, and your son would eat his vegetables and what not when you told him to. The problem came when Sukuna asked him to, and that’s where the problem stemmed from. The real problem at hand being his ego.
“Well, that’s too bad. Carrots are good for your ears or whatever, and if you want to be big and strong like daddy, you have to eat those carrots.” Your son crossed his little arms over his chest, turning his head away and refusing to look towards his father.
You sighed, standing up and walking over to where your husband sat, slowly rubbing his shoulders and back until he was no longer seconds away from exploding. “Honey, take a breather, he’s just being difficult again you know this.” Sukuna huffed, grumbling as he took an angry sip from his coffee.
“Still...he does it when you ask...just not when I do it..” You knew this had little to do with his son not eating his carrots, and all to do with his son not listening to him, which he of course equated to his son not liking him. Which truly wasn’t the case, the twos are just not a good time for toddlers (parents…).
Putting on your sternest mom expression, you walked in front of your son, “Ryosuke. Your dad’s asked you several times to eat your carrots, you need to eat them baby.” Your toddler grumbled before turning back to his plate and eating his carrots, your husbands jaw dropping as you walked past him and softly patted his shoulder.
When your son finished his lunch, you had gone to switch the laundry from the washer to the dryer, so you weren’t there to let him out of his high chair. And as much as he didn’t want to associate with the enemy aka dad…
He uh...kinda needed out of that chair :p
Putting aside his toddler pride he stuck his arms up, “Daddy...get mommy...I wan’ out.” Sukuna raised an eyebrow, looking at his son with a gaze that said ‘really?’.
“I’m right here, your moms busy but I’ll let you out bud.” Your son pouted, trying his best to glare at his dad, but even the fiery gaze from his own flesh and blood didn’t stop the king of curses from getting out of his chair and walking around to the high chair.
Undoing the straps and latches he lifted his squirming son out of the chair, immediately having to adjust his grip so he didn’t drop him.
“Hey! Ryosuke stop kicking me! You’re going to fa-” Just then one of his sons legs went flying into Sukuna’s crotch. Just then you had walked out of the laundry room and into the kitchen/dining room, watching as your husband clumsily set down your son who ran but more like wobbled over towards you.
You just watched as Sukuna tightly gripped the table, his form still shaking as your son wobbled off to his playroom while you walked over to your husband, who was trying to dull the stinging pain of being brutally betrayed by his first born.
