jegulus | 11/10 - i love them so much. when i rejoined the fandom in 2022 and saw how the ship had blown up in the years id been gone i was really confused, but then i read just lovers and was immediately convinced lmao. they are the epitome of sunshine x grumpy and i adore them both

bartylus | 5/10 - theyre not very compelling to me, but theyre not bad by any means. i think they work better as friends but i understand why people ship them. i just prefer other ships personally, but ive read many great fics with them too!

jegulily | 20/10 - im obsessed with them. i love regulus, james, and lily separately, but together they balance each other out. plus it helps that its a combination of my two most favorite monoamorous ships (jegulus and regulily), like whats not to like? theyre definitely a top tier ship

moonwater | 10/10 - they are so cute and so overhated! theres so much potential here, like they could be friends to lovers or enemies to lovers or rivals to lovers, basically any trope you can think of lol. and think of the angst! the drama! i love them dearly

regulily | 1000/10 - yall already know how i feel about these two! they are literal soulmates and i love them to bits. their personalities mesh so well and, this might be a controversial take, but they make more canonical sense than jegulus does imo (not that canon really matters in this fandom lmao). i could wax literal poetry about this ship i love them so much

rosewater | 6/10 - i have other ships i prefer for both of them but theyre still cute and i can see why people ship them. honestly its a similar situation to bartylus, except they intrigue me just the slightest bit more lol

blackeclipse | 10/10 - ooooo i love them. all the best aspects of jegulus, moonchaser, and moonwater in one, its elite. james brings the buoyancy that regulus & remus need while regulus & remus help keep him tethered. they work so well together and i love them all dearly

xenoreg | 8/10 - a crackship ive come to enjoy recently! definitely a weird x weirder kind of ship which is the best. oh to be a fly on the wall of the slytherin common room when regulus told barty, evan, and dorcas that he was dating xenophilius lestrange, ravenclaws resident conspiracy theorist (pandora, of course, would have been overjoyed to have someone to trade ideas with)

regulene | 7/10 - they intrigue me tbh, like marlenes brashness and regulus’ coldness contrast in just the right ways. theyre like fire and water and i love that. plus the potential for a quidditch rivalry is phenomenal, especially considering that they could both be the seekers for their respective teams. theyre kinda similar to dorlene imo

regulilylene | 9/10 - im gonna be honest here i think i made this ship up, but i really like their dynamic. marlene and regulus are on the opposite extremes of hot and cold and lilys right there in the middle to keep them grounded, she evens them out

nazuna is really interesting hes genuinely just such a kind and emotionally intelligent person. as of now the only sort of romantic ship i have for him is unrequited kaonazu, its funny to see kaoru trying again and again to flirt with nazuna and nazuna watching him fall over himself with a look of mixed amusement confusion and pity. hes never gonna let kaoru succeed but hes enjoying watching him try . as for platonic ships , i love nazuna and kuros friendship theyre so cute

shu and nazuna.... haah. i love the tragedy of it all . theres a lot of melancholic feelings there . when nazuna first left valkyrie it was like, they dont really want to be strangers but they know theyll never be friends again so theyre sorta just standing just out of arms reach of each other and staring through the tension . but since then the dust has settled and theyve started living parallel to each other, still out of arms reach. interacting as little as possible but keeping tabs on each other not in an invasive sort of way but in an "i just like knowing what youre up to" way. honestly the whole situation ended about as well as it could have. after everything that happened of course nazuna cant forgive shu, and he shouldnt, but he doesnt hate him either which is a testament to his maturity . shu knows that too and it hurts, he does wish they could be friends again. but more than that he wants what's best for nazuna and nazuna wants the same for him, and both of them recognize that whats best for both of them is to keep their distance. thats what the logical side of them says at least . the emotional side however, is giving them cold feet. because they still care about each other and thats why they wont walk away fully . so they continue to walk on either side of the same road . they wont talk, theyll never go out for lunch to catch up, but they have each others phone number. nazuna still wears the clothes shu made for him. shu finds a christmas card in the mail every year without fail. sometimes theyll catch the other in the back of the audience at their shows. theyll smile at each other in the hallways . theyll defend each others reputation in an argument. in an emergency situation they know they could call each other for help as a last resort and there would be no questions asked. and yknow, that's okay. they dont have to be friends . they can be someone they used to know and coexist in silence . no hard feelings, only bittersweet acceptance. i think shu is happy to see nazuna thriving in rabits . theres nothing he could ever do to make up for what hes done but he can make sure it doesnt happen again and thats really important. i think they should hug each other one last time.

Bull crap teenagers are sexless, what happened to "theyre having sex anyways so it's important to educate them about it early"? What about the teen pregnancy issue? You were just posting about how ever school should have free condoms alongside free pads and tampons just last week, Nancy, but this week they're all pure uwu beans never thought about a titty in their life and if they have its a tragedy of this hypersexualized world therefor its invalid for them to identify as asexual? If they can't identify as asexual then they can't identify as homosexual either, only romantic orientations allowed.

It annoys me so much that even when people specifically address these comments they never point this specific thing out that they're treating teenagers like this. People address that it makes no sense that teens can id as one sexuality but not the other, but never the removal of their sexuality all together, and perpetuating the misinformation that asexual=no libido at the same time? It's never worded like they assume adults are sexualizing minors somehow in this, its always just full scale denial of teens having sexual desires and that affecting the labels they choose for themselves rather than just 'cute silly crushes.' Sometimes they full on deny even romantic attraction, and they don't get called out for this. It's often the same people who fight for sex education but it just all evaporates and theres no difference between a 15 year old and a 3 year old to them all of a sudden when aspec identities come up.

People are all for wearing what you want until youre an asexual wearing a bikini, or all for platonic relationships being just as important until its an aspec who cares more about their friends then suddenly theyre sad and lonely. They're against the objectification of women as sex objects and against "she asked for it" until its an asexual woman. Its free love until its an aromantic man. People are so all for the destruction of amatonormativity and the championing of aspec inclusiveness until its called that then suddenly they revert to these super conservative views.

a/n: i actually really liked writing this one. theyre friends, but really kinda implied here. lots of romantic undertones methinks.. idk. ANYWAY, i don’t have much more to say but enjoy!!

it was weird how affectionate jack could be, epel thought, when jack laid against him, his ears twitching every so often. epel had always wanted to scratch behind him ever since he had met the other, but didn’t, afraid that that was weird, but when he finally gave in to his urges, it turned out a lot better than he had thought.

apparently jack really liked getting his ears scratched, and epel had to admit, it was kinda cute.

now, they sat underneath a tree, epel was sitting with his legs straight out and jack was laying down, his head resting on epel’s lap. epel wasn’t totally sure if this was just platonic friend behavior, but he found himself not minding either. either way, epel was reading a book, one hand offhandedly scratching behind jack’s ear comfortingly. at a certain interesting part, he got distracted, not realizing he had stopped.

that was, until jack tiredly nuzzled against his hands.

“gah, sorry, jack.” he said, resuming.

jack continued nuzzling him, though, even scooting in closer. his ears and hair nuzzled against his sides and his arms, and epel let out a giggle.

“hehehey! t-thahahat tihihickles, stop that!”

jack looked up, a cheeky smile on his face, and epel couldn’t will alway his blush upon seeing it.

“you’re ticklish?” jack asked, almost incredulously and very curious. epel felt a bit embarrassed under his gazed.

“j-just a little… ain’t everyone?!” epel muttered, feeling increasingly nervous at the childlike wonder in jack’s eyes.

“maybe, but that’s not the focus of the matter right now.” a moment of silence.

“..wh—“

“can i tickle you?” jack asked, interrupting epel.

“WHAT?!”

“i’m curious. i want to.” jack stared. with anyone else, epel definitely would have said no and ran away, but for some reason, he couldn’t find himself to say no.

he couldn’t really say yes either, so he mumbled out some word that even he didn’t know was supposed to sound like, but apparently it was good for jack because he leaned down, immediately squeezing epel’s sides.

epel jolted, a smile automatically appearing on his face. “eek!” he cried, embarrassed at how fast he had reacted. jack leaned down further, moving so that he was in front of epel and nuzzled the top of his head on epel’s tummy. it was not really a way he had ever been tickled before, but it was apparently very effective.

“g-gahahaha! jajahahahack!”

“hmm?” jack paused, looking up at epel.

“thahat tihihickles!”

“…well, yeah.” jack replied and epel wanted to groan, wondering what in the world had possessed him to make him say yes to such a request in the first place.

apparently be had been silent for too long because jack repositioned himself to tickle him again, pinching his thighs and scratching at his knees.

“AHAHAHACK!” he cried, squirming and trying desperately not to kick jack in the face. jack was looking like he was having the time of his life, studying epel’s reactions.

“oh, you’re pretty ticklish here,” jack noted and epel tried to shut his mouth, but he was feeling too sensitive.

“nanahahahaaha!” even if epel wanted to reply, he couldn’t. he cursed himself for being born so damn ticklish.

seconds later, he felt he was slowly losing his insanity. jack was a thorough tickler, that’s for sure, he realized, as jack had tested nearly every spot a person could be ticklish. epel even found out some spots he didn’t know he was ticklish.

“O-OHOHOKAY! EHEHEHENOUGH! T-thahahat’s eheheHENOUGH!” he cried at least, and jack nodded, stopping his attack, allowing for epel a chance to breathe.

“you okay?” jack asked, trying to not look concerned. he seemed worried he had gone too far, so epel was quick to reassure him.

“i’m good. just, uh, when did ya.. get so good at that?”

“at tickling?” jack tilted his head.

“y-yeah.”

“well, i didn’t really know i was “good at tickling”. i guess i just have younger siblings so…” jack shrugged, and epel nodded, getting what he meant. “that was fun.”

“it was?” epel asked.

“yeah, your reactions were cute. you’re.. cute.”

“huh?!” epel shouted, feeling flustered suddenly. jack jumped, almost shocked at himself for even saying it.

“sorry, i meant— uh— i know you don’t like being called cute.. i don’t know, forget about it.”

“no, it’s okay. i don’t usually like it,” epel admitted, and jack’s ears drooped just slightly. “but i guess it’s okay time to time. i mean, cuteness has it’s own charms and i’m starting to learn that now.” epel smiled, hopefully in a way that jack considered reassuring.

it seemed it was, because jack smiled back. jack rest his head back on epel’s lap, and if every once in a while, jack would nuzzle against epel’s tummy and make him giggle, neither mentioned it.

i dont like saying it on here much cuz its one of the most popular ships in the fandom (the number one most popular ship is kubokai, and im not a fan of that either ☠️ i just think theyre the ship you get from looking at the show/manga purely at surface level and just picking two characters that are close friends and saying 'they should date' even though they wouldnt actually fit together.. i just dont see it personally lol.. OKAY ANYWAY SORRY-) but i really dont like torisai 🧍🏻‍♀️

(im about to talk about sa under this, fair warning)

i literally just posted today about people shipping things in ways that mildly trigger me, and torisai shippers do it pretty bad !! for some reason, mikorei shippers and yumetori shippers etc dont really do the thing that torisai shippers do where they romanticize sexual assault in the way they write them.. im not sure why that is, maybe they think that men cant be sa'd in the way women can ? they think cuz its a gay ship that its okay to write tori sexually harassing and assaulting him (+acting like its cute, not tagging it accordingly with warnings, etc) ? crazy. especially since saiki is implied to be a victim of sa (or at least is canonically a victim of sexual harassment and attempted sa) by his brother..

that whole thing is something i genuinely think is awful and nobody should romanticize sa, but toritsuka isn't inherently awful and still had potential and good character development, so that alone doesnt really make the ship that bad since the shippers are the problem.. i actually used to be okay with it until the shippers ruined it for me, but thinking critically about it (and thinking about WHY the shippers believe that their dynamic is so sexually abusive) did make me realize how much the ship sucks anyway.. (imo !!)

its partly because i project onto saiki, but i already mentioned how saiki is canonically a victim of (at least attempted) sa, and i reallly believe that he would not be interested in dating someone who is so obsessed with sex to the point where he canonically sexually harasses people and tries to peep without their consent !! he is literally an sa victim, obviously that would make him so uncomfortable!!

their friendship at the end of the series is nice and one of the most developed in the series, so i get where people got the ship from, cat tank incident invites a lot of content about them... but toritsuka still has a lot of work to do on himself before he can date ANYONE, and ESPECIALLY a literal sa victim..

when he saw saiki as a girl, one of the first things he did was DIRECTLY ask him about his boobs.. WHY WOULD HE DATE HIM AFTER THAT SKSNKAKAMSK..

actually lol, when i made that post today about ship content that triggers me, part of that was specifically inspired by torisai shippers lol.. (not all ofc and no hate, it just isnt my thing !! torisai mutuals i love u please don't unfollow me..) ive seen multiple people post about how they love torisai BECAUSE they would be absolutely awful for each other and bring out the worst in one another.. like hmm.. great for you if you enjoy that, but that is entirely why i DONT ship it !! i hate ships like that, i love my fluffy healthy romantic ships !!

THEYRE CUTE!!! though personally i think their relationship feels alot more impactful when viewed through a queer platonic lens;;

their relationship is a very unique one!! and it is one that is meant to directly mirror natsumes relationship with the oddballs with the constant coddling and need to protect....... ive discussed these things before, but his relationship with sora is basically natsume trying to ensure what happened to him during and after the war doesnt happen to sora too. he sees bits of himself in sora so he really wants to shield him, and this dynamic becomes extra interesting when we remember how natsume constantly complains about being treated as a kid, while failing to realize he is doing that exact thing to sora too in the beginning (which sora didnt like either!!)

i also think natsume really enjoys having sora rely on him so much, since it makes him feel stronger and more capable (and as we know theres nothing that upsets natsume more than feeling powerless and weak) but then it can lead to extremes of him being TOO protectful and shielding him TOO much which tsumugi has even critiqued as them being so inseparable is getting in the way of letting sora grow....... again its a super interesting dynamic they have and i love the way its tied to the war!

though, personally, i think taking their relationship and insisting it to be romantic does it a disservice......... youre free to ship it ofc! but theres just alot of interpersonal layers to their dynamic that i just dont feel carry the same weight were it to be romantic? like. i LOVE seeing their devotion to each other. i LOVE seeing how much they genuinely adore each other. i LOVE seeing how much they care for each other!!! and seeing this level of love and adoration just HITS SO HARD WHEN U THINK OF IT AS PLATONIC!! because then its just love with no expectations, love with no desire for anything in return, its just pure unfiltered love because you care so much for this person and admire them. you really dont get to see this type of dynamic very often i feel? maybe its because im really not much of a shipper if im being honest, but it just makes me so happy to see love so strong between two characters thats reminiscent of the strong unfiltered love and adoration i hold for my friends....... it makes me so happy to see............... platonic love is no lesser than romantic love!!!! remember this!!!!!!!!!!!

I will not pull any punches and i will be blunt, if i forget anyone its because ive litterally never seen them shipped before, this post is also under the assumption that all of the characters listed are 18+ (covering my bases here, ykno?)

Starting out with ol' reliable phantom/blue. This ship dynamic is the most canon fueled and widely shipped out of the dynamics ive seen.. for good reason! They make good foils for eachother in a way that meshes really nicely and that can make for undeniably sweet n cute moments. Beit blue snuggled up and snoozing while phantom does late night work or simply the homoerotic tension that comes from blue beta testing his code and absolutely exploiting every bug, i think blue would be quite healthy for him. 5 stars. Good ship.

While discussing the bomber siblings, ill address a ship dynamic i have been told ive forgotten in the past. Being phantom/black, a ship I've seen that presumably cites the credits of sbr1 on the grounds of them seeming to interact post R. While i didnt pay much mind to it, i can see the merit given that interaction in canon is like looking for water in the Sahara desert. Black, being blunt... Is a dumb bitch (affectionate) which could bounce off phantom pretty well, likely the two bonding over a fondness of the theatrical... if feelings do develop i cant shake the feeling that phantom would be the first to engage.. i think phantom would engage as hes the least awkward about romance out of the two by default. And i think black would be hesitant and have a crisis about "oh my god am i gay???" (No honey youre bisexual its ok) . The entire relationship hinges on whether or not you think they could both get past their own egos and not beat eachother to death about it. ultimately could be a decent ship! I think they work better as friends personally. 3 stars.

Ok, now onto the dastardly bombers oriented ships, these will probably get a little controversial

phantom/magnet is a ship that i find VERY funny because i think itd not work at all romantically. Sorry to the exactly one person ive seen ship this but im taking R at face value for this post, they would constantly squabble and could honestly not stand eachother in any intimate situation besides the bedroom and even then i think that wouldnt be satisfactory for either of them lmao. Magnet would INSIST on topping and it would suck really bad. 1 star. Not a fan they seem more like friendly rivals instead tbh

phantom/golem on the other hand would make a GREAT dynamic imo, always pops into my head every now and then. Golem, despite not really speaking much is a kind and gentle soul. Making for a great anchor to phantom. I tend to think of them more platonic, but i DO think they'd have good romantic chemistry. They like to hang out and sit near eachother like cats and simply enjoying eachother's company... Phantom could study his mane of flora and tell him about every little insect that inhabits his garden and i think golem would happily listen making inquisitive beeps about things. And i personally headcanon phantom tends to have issues remembering to maintain himself in his working hours, i think golem takes time to remind him to. Sweet dynamic. 4 stars. One of my favorites.

Ok so. I think phantom/karaoke *could* work... But phantom/pretty could not. You feel me? Like hands down theyre good friends either way, but karaoke amd phantom have a little more of a spark there. since pretty is... Bland in R. To say the least. Im not a fan i can see her visiting him and them holding good conversation, nothing more really. But karaoke has classic pretty mannerisms, being quite charismatic and flirty in a way i think could absolutely decimate him. Like after a long ramble about his latest project she would stare him dead in the eye after picking up about half of what he said and asking him if he wants to make out or something to fuck with him and he would go bright purple. Decent ship. 1 star for pretty but 3 for karaoke. Round it down to a 2 if you want

Ok onto the ship i think i may have brought into existence... phantom/plasma, I honestly think plasma would also make a good supportive anchor to phantom, similar to golem but in a more active way. I think they'd mesh well personality wise, theyre both seemingly quite good natured at heart if the snippets from R can be trusted, i think their shared compassion could breed understanding and trust between the two, trust blossoming into something more down the line. Not a relationship that would happen over night but one that i honestly am a sucker for. They should curl up together and watch movies in the cold winter. Good comfort ship. 5 stars. Fight me over this im not budging.
