"do you ever do anything besides study?" james groaned, grinning, splaying himself all over.

"i smoke weed," lily said, smiling, not looking up from her transfiguration essay. "and regulus plays quidditch. we do other stuff too, see?"

"you know that's not what i mean." james laughed, planting a kiss on the cheek of lily, then regulus. "and, besides, seeing the fact that reg has his OWLs at the end of this month, it's only fair."

"how about we go and study outside?" regulus asked, scooching closer to his lovers. "see the sun for a bit of time? it's not too warm outside today."

"you, regulus black, want to see the sun?" james asked, putting on a shocked look on his face. "this is a first for the history of hogwarts!"

"oh, piss off." regulus smirked, already grabbing his books and his bag, looking out through the tall, high windows to the warm sun outside.
