three facts about them from my personal headcanons

not quite sure what would count as a fact per se, but: curly mullet as a kid bc her hair wouldn’t grow as fast in the sides (a style she later resurrected for one of her later wonder girl looks); lesbian BUT thought she was bi until like 13/14 bc she had a crush on like westley from the princess bride; neither of them know this but Cassie and Anita used to get into drama on roblox but also both of them were pretending to be guys + they dated on roblox for like three weeks. To this day neither are sure if it was gay (two guy avatars) straight (they were girl with guy??) but it was in fact gay squared (two girls pretending to be two guys)

a reason they suck

id say her combination of recklessness and stubbornness with a healthy dash of hating finding out she was wrong about something. Definitely something that improves as she gets older, but like with constantly trying to get cissie back in the team, sometimes her stubbornness overrides clearly drawn boundaries

five things that never happened to that character that I believe should have happened

she needs to kiss girls like yesterday. I promise this is crucial for her I think it would actually solve a lot of her problems even just indirectly;

I think she should have had more time before Zeus granted her powers. Like I get why and it did suit the story they were going for but I really liked how cobbled together her costume and equipment was, I would’ve liked to see that for a bit longer (this may count as something that did happen that I believe should have just taken longer, but oh well);

I think that she should get to graduate from wonder girl, maybe by being faced with whoever will succeed her and passing the mantle on at the end of that kind of arc (maybe harken back to how Donna gave Cassie her wonder girl suit? I think it would be cute) which, while I’m thinking, would have been a far better way to introduce Lizzie, imo. Still not gone on her needing to be Diana’s bio kid (bc it feels like they’re trying to invalidate the non-bio candidates for Wonder Woman in the future tbh) but if she was just some girl (we can still relate her to amazons and the gods, just not Diana I think) then I think she’d have been received far better;

not just her, but also for yj in general - I think she should have followed the trend of leaving (not at the same time as say, Tim and Bart, bc then we’re down too many members) but I’d like to see her grapple with the guilt of that + also realising why cissie wouldn’t be coming back by sympathising with her, but still eventually rejoining (and meanwhile the others realise that despite her stubbornness they still value her as a leader and theyre all very relieved that she’s back);

as far as I’m aware she’s yet to receive an animal sidekick (Damian has honestly been hogging like all the animal sidekicks as of late like c’mon sir please share) so I think she’d benefit from one. Since Kon’s had krypto and Bart’s had dox (Tim doesn’t seem to have any either) I think there’s already plenty of heroic dogs to go around. World without yj is obv like alternate reality but her connection to Dionysus did intrigue me. So, I put forth a bengal cat that transforms into a leopard during combat (think cringer -> battlecat from he-man)

ok this was a difficult question but I think I have some answers hopefully

Cass Cain -> hero crush, but Cassie was too scared of her for it to go any further than that and she didn’t really believe she existed for a while either

Anita -> was too hung up on cissie leaving at the start, then they eventually found out that they were each others bitter exes on roblox and Cassie’s brain immediately killed the chance for a crush to emerge

Greta -> felt wrong to like her when she’d only just remembered who she ever was, and again, was too hung up on cissie to really consider the possibility

Kon -> the crush she thought she had did not live up to actually being around him and he was part of the reason she realised she actually didn’t like guys

Jenny Hex -> tried to hit on Diana right in front of her

two of my friends are dating since recently and i dont why but it pisses me off because theyre doing so much together and i feel left out and its not fair and i feel mean cause i made one of them think i hate him because i was ignoring him cause i was nad that hes having a sleepover with his boyfriend and all the others of us arent

i dont think you're a bad friend. i think you're a human being with wants and needs and complex feelings. it makes sense that you would feel left out if two of your friends started paying each other much more attention than you.

i think this could go one of two ways. either they're just in the honeymoon phase, and once they've settled into the relationship things will go back to normal (or close to normal), or this may become a permanent thing.

people tend to prioritise their relationships over their friendships, so they will most likely do things together that they do not do with you more frequently now. that doesnt necessarily mean that they dont like you or dont like spending time with you, it just means they enjoy each others company a lot!

if you do feel as though you are being deliberately excluded, it may be worth talking to them about how their behaviour is making you feel. otherwise, you will end up showing how you feel through your actions, and causing them to feel hurt.

healthy communication is a life skill, and definitely one that is worth practicing and developing now! perhaps you could write down everything that you would want to say to them, and then edit and reword it until it sounds right. then when you go to talk to them, you will have an idea of your key points

ok i have a few things to say abt this. 1) From what ive seen in the past year, i think the topic of sigyn is unfortunately sensitive in this situation due to the way the fandom treats angrboda and kinda uses sigyn as a “hopeful” replacement against her or want them in a love triangle (and so far, nobody wants that).

Ive recently seen someone make a rant abt how media constantly merges sigyn with angrboda and i respect that rant but this is in terms of the game ONLY. Game development is a much different process than film/TV. And i feel like putting her in would just make things complicated for the development, story, and potentially for atreus and angrboda’s relationship UNLESS its another name for angrboda (which i think most of us agree this is likely) or theyre in a poly relationship (honestly dont want that lol) i dont think we’re gonna see her in the next game due to this and the fact theres not any pointers towards her in the near future (if ever).

2) dont do that. Please. 😭 yall might think im just spewing shit but i can tell you this right now as a black girl myself, this is not healthy way of thinking! I know it is amazing to have representation with those that look like you or are in a similar position as you but theres a high chance youre gonna get disappointed (or maybe not bcuz again, we dont know what theyll do) if shes not black. This can lead to setting yourself up, feeling “betrayed” and or getting jealous off anyone that doesnt necessarily look like you and i can assure you, you do not want to deal with that. This creates a HUGE insecurity issue within that shouldnt be present! know at the end of the day this is a game but i see stuff like this even with celebrities and 10/10 it ends up badly.

3) obviously i do not mind if shes black or another POC. I saw some ppl say they would like that trend of atreus have POC love interests and that would be nice but idrk whats gonna happen 😭 I do believe the giants will be very mixed as this was confirmed by sms and i wish so badly to see how theyd look!

Anon i feel the exact same way as you. I dont have a solution but i find it works best for me when i think of taekook as a fictional couple that i enjoy and love and that no one will ever be able to take away from me (i read and write fanfiction for one) and then the members as they are i take them as they are and what is presented to me. This excludes their private lives pretty heavily. In real life, though i want nothing more than for them to be ”real”, what i love about them is their bond. I dont go crazy with all the ”theories” that to me all seem like shippers choosing what they believe based on what aligns with their ship. And thats fine! But i cant delude myself like that. So what works best for me is: we will never know with absolute certainty what goes on behind the scenes. And thats how it should be. These are not our lives, its people who are actually strangers to us private lives. When taennie and paris happened, i obsessed over it, followed it compulsively. And eventually i was like. What the fuck am i doing? None of this, NONE OF THIS, has ANY impact on my life. I have nothing to do with it, and no agency in it because its got nothing to do with me. I cant control anything about it. Yes, I want taekook to be real, but at the end of the day, what does that matter to me? If i just want the relationship i can just daydream about it, them being real or not isnt actually going to make me any more part of it anyway (lol). Now i know that not just quitting them and instead staying with them could still be perpetating my problem but i hope i can continue to respect their private lifes. No offence taken. I actually think a lot of what we talk about here isn't necessarily romantic. It's often in defence of their closeness in general because a lot of people seem to believe it simply doesn't exist. And in the course of denying their closeness, or minimising their importance to one another, there's a lot of anti-Tae sentiment, a lot of painting JK as something he's not, a lot of bending of ideas to fit weird narratives. That irritates me as a Tae/JK bias so I sometimes feel like I'm just battling that.

That's not to say we don't suggest romance. We definitely do. 😌 But you're right. You gotta protect yourself from potential upset or the weariness of never finding out by accepting that you're never operating at 100% certainty.

I don't think there's prizes for loyalty at the end. If they are a couple, there's no bragging rights if you never had a moment of doubt. JK and Tae aren't personally going to come to your house to congratulate you for never wavering. They are real people, not points to be had.

Sometimes we theorise and make jokes but hopefully it's a respectful vibe? I also hope people would let me know if the vibe got disrespectful.

Regarding the last ask my interpretation of two and he and one’s very umm messy dynamic is that I don’t think two really would want to understand that one loves him. Like there’s huge messy mistakes and hurts caused by both side that make it hard for either one or two to understand love in general let alone acknowledge it.

But.

But. How I’m perceiving two in how he’s been presented to us is that even if it (one loving him) could be pointed out to him in a way he understands I think he’d refuse to acknowledge it because atm he holds so much resentment and bitterness and hate* towards one that having it pointed out that one loves him would not be something he could handled because then it would be like forcing him to realize the hurt he’s causing someone who loves him and it would force him to grapple with the fact that the feelings he holds for someone that loves him are not necessarily good or healthy and that in turn would probably make him feel flawed and like the monster the hidden city believes him to be and I don’t think he could handle those feelings and so he just…wouldn’t. He’d deny any evidence of one’s love solely so he didn’t have to deal with what it means and his own messy complicated feelings

(* when I say hate i don’t mean two hates one we know he loves him back but I mean like there is hate and it does get projected on one a little maybe but it’s more hate about the lack of respect and lack of equality and hatred of the situation and ranks and how one enforces it just as strongly as Draxum like I could see two saying he hates one but it’s misplaced it’s not actually hatred of his brother it’s more hatred of the messed up dynamic they have and since that was set up by Draxum it’s easier and safer to blame one then it would be the commander)

The flip side is I have a lot of thoughts about one on this too because he’s is obviously not like without his own set of issues and mistakes that he brings to the dysfunctional relationship between them but the ask was more about two so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that’s my take on how twos being written so far and I could be way off so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong!

Ok so i really think you’re onto something. Two doesn’t understand that One loves him not because he hasn’t noticed but because he doesn’t know what it is. For Two, everything he and One do is a product of their mission and purpose as Draxum’s experiments. That’s his understanding and just generally how he sees his life, including his relationship with One. Here’s where it gets tricky. I know in the ask you’re referring to i said Two doesn’t understand that One loves him, and that’s true on a technical sense. I think on some level Two understands that One cares about him because Two cares about One too. As much hostility and mistrust as there is between them, theyre still very close. That relationship is just tainted by a lot of bitterness, so much so that I think Two has lost that feeling of caring and trust that they used to have as children, pre-rank. But he hasnt forgotten about it entirely. Its why one does what he does snd probably part of why two’s so angry all the time.

I love your thoughts on Two reacting to this all being spelled out to it bc, like I said, he doesnt’ actively recognize where One’s motives are coming from, since hes blinded by his anger rank and desperation/commitment to draxum’s mission. If he was told One loves him, itd probably come as a surprise. He wasn’t aware that could even HAPPEN. Two barely remembers behaving like a child and being so carefree, likely assumed that One shed the empty “brother” and “family” mindset like he had, and “woke up,” so to speak. But I actually think that realizing that would just make him angrier. How could One “love” him but still treat him as an inferior? He’d probably think of it as pathetic and weak and just an excuse or maybe simply dismiss it as not true. Underneath that, though, he’d probably panic a bit (fueling his anger), and yea maybe wondering why they’re so different, which honestly could either make him feel insecure or more isolated from One. But that side of it probably comes out in season 2 :)

Two and One’s relationship is super messy and it absolutely infuriates Two most of the time. I really loved hearing your thoughts they made me think a lot about Two’s internal feelings and thoughts :)
