Finished reading the Trimax volume where Midvalley dies and y'know what. Yeah there is plenty of interesting potential in this relatively minor character. You're very valid. Looking forward to reading what you're doing with him in ITNL (when I get there 😔)

He's so FUNKY he has intrigued me so muchly. It's fucking hilarious how different he is in the 98 anime from the manga. I love to make fun of him in the 98 anime. But in the manga he is just so Interesting. And he fit this role Perfectly.

I am answering the question of what would happen if manga midvalley and vash were. Not-friends. Associates. Grudging allies. Emphasis on the not-friends, bc Vash has at times forgotten that midvalley is in fact an unapologetic assassin. Sometimes it's just fun to make fun of someone who takes himself too seriously. And vash is SO good at doing that.
