this professor will not mark anyone’s papers above a 95 and that’s fine but it is over the most annoying shit i swear
#it's fine i'm being normal i'm not a perfectionist or anything#this last case is rlly getting me though lmao bc he said he doesnt need in depth citations or footnotes at all#and we can choose what format to use (mla/apa/chicago/etc)#has said this multiple times#so tell me why this man marked me down for not using footnotes abt some newspaper clippings in class#and commented 'figure out why historians prefer footnotes' man. i will eat you. shut up.#if u had told me i needed footnotes & to use chicago i would have but u have to communicate that#theyre like 600-900 word papers that act as our exams and so theyre not supposed to be that serious/in depth#he has also misunderstood what i'm saying twice now and marked me down for it#like at one point was like 'this is missing a word or phrase' and i'm like literally no it isn't this is#a grammatically correct sentence bc you see 'the reflection of (explained idea) and (explained idea' works as a sentence#but he got annoyed i didn't put 'reflection of' again before that second explained idea#and i'm ready to strangle him
