I am having a goddamn nightmare of a time writing the university au (mostly because I have a shit ton of work to do…for my university…lol) so have some headcanons about the most toxic couple you’ve ever met. mdni under the cut

They’re like the definition of a situationship. They’re dating in every aspect except by name

At first she does try to sleep with other guys like she did before König but that doesn’t last long, because nobody else is as good as him. She will never admit this outside of the bedroom

Meanwhile he literally calls her his girlfriend behind her back

She’s emotionally unavailable toxic, he’s obsessive and possessive toxic

König enjoys the pursuit and just thinks it’s normal for women to be difficult like this. I would say “poor König” but he has a bad habit of picking her up and carrying her places against her will so he’s not that poor

She likes to tell herself she has no attachment to him, but she loves the ego boost he gives her by acting like a lovestruck puppy and following her everywhere. She’s also secretly into him being controlling

She does have her moments of genuinely caring about him, though. She brought him lunch once and he looked at her like she hung the moon the whole day. Her excuse was that she just happened to get/make an extra portion, but she did, in fact, get him a portion on purpose

She basically lives with him after a certain point. Her roommates barely see her anymore since she only comes and goes from her old place to get things. He constantly threatens to change the locks on her, but they both know it’s an empty threat. He much prefers to punish her in sexy ways

She'll just be minding her own business talking to a classmate or perhaps flirting with someone when König will come up behind her and put his arms around her. If she was just talking to someone she'll pat his face before attempting to shoo him off. If she was flirting with someone, she wrenches him off her and storms off in a huff (whoever she was talking to has definitely fled from König's evil eye by that point)

They don't really fight, they just have spats because König is endlessly amused by her anger and she is unable to stay mad at him for long. The one time they had a real fight was nasty, and they didn't talk for days afterwards

She's usually quite a chill, go with the flow person (because if she allowed herself too much stress or anxiety at once it would destroy her), but König brings out the spitfire in her

In equal measure, König is a bit of the shy and quiet giant type, but she brings out the brat tamer in him. They alternate balancing each other out

It's kind of easy to look at them and go "why are they still doing this to themselves" but when they get along (i.e. he's behaving himself and she's not pretending not to know him) they're as functional as any other couple

This definitely goes without saying: the nastiest most bed-breaking sex. They fuck like they’re trying to murder each other

I currently have 5 long form fics thought up in my brain. If you sent in requests, I'm thinking about them always! If you send in more requests, I'll get to them as inspiration strikes. I work full time and have the brain of a baby so I don't take demands lol <3 but song fic ideas, starter lines, other ideas, anything really!

All I've Ever Known, my Luke's little sister fic, has four more chapters left to be posted, including an epilogue.

Cross The Line, my toxic!ballet Jordan Li fic, has 17 more chapters left to be posted. It's so slow burn lmao but it is fully outlined. ive been taking it slow because its a bit harder to write.

Next to Normal, my punk band/normal college au, is going to be another high effort slow burn fic. I have over 30 chapters outlined, and I plan to do third person following both of them in each chapter (so each chapter will have a Jordan bit and a Marie bit). I've been focusing more heavily on this recently because I feel as though I need to work on conveying characterization through voice in my writing (fjdsaklfsajklaj i am not a real writer lol but like -- characters are hard and so i wanted to work on a story without an oc for a bit). If you have any fun, fluffy college moments that you personally enjoyed or that you want to see in this fic, please please please send them to me! Part of the challenge I gave myself for this fic was to try to incorporate a balance of fun and angst in each chapter. Forcing myself to actually write scenes lol.

Out of the Woods, my throuple fic, is on the backburner at the moment, mainly because I don't feel like I'm quite equipped to write it at the moment. My OCs powers are weird, and the plot is a bit... all over the place. It's doable, I just need to massage the story bits in my brain for awhile.

The Spy Who Loved Me, is the heist/spy limoreau fic that I dreamed up awhile back. It is really more of a vibe than an outlined story, so it's definitely at the bottom of my priorities.

If you were following back when I posted the other throuple fic, no you weren't. dfjskaldfjkal i honestly do not like that fic and probably wont go back to fix it. i like barely even tried.

Okay—I really need to know this because it’s been keeping me up all night pookie…This is just my guess! But we can alter the story any way! MENTIONS OF ABUSE (KINDA)!!!

I feel like Chris’s now wife was in one of those situations where she got married extremely young, I’d say about 20-22? Maybe even a little older. But I feel like that’s one reason she was in such an abusive and toxic marriage. Her and her now ex husband were still young, probably had a baby not to long after, and that’s when I think the abuse really started.

It wasn’t long after their little ‘honeymoon’ which was really them just having time off from work and staying home all day. He’d start getting a bit manipulative and toxic, then as you advanced into your pregnancy, I feel like that’s when all of the real serious things started to happen. It would be over the most random and small thing too. She accidentally dropped a glass while washing the dishes? He’d get into his screaming fit, going on about how she was useless while she stood there like a scared puppy, trying her hardest to apologize and defend herself only to be met with a slap on the face.

Ollie was only a year and a couple months when you finally had enough, dropping everything and leaving your shitty husband. You’d spend all day working, taking extra shifts to make enough to atleast put away for a tiny apartment for you and Ollie. Yelling at Redfield all night for him to take your orders and STOP GETTING HIMSELF IN TROUBLE!!!

Chris was born in 1973, technically making him like…51 or something in 2024 😳. (I ❤️ Peepaws.) He’d be 48 in RE8 and around 40 for Death Island. I feel like him and his wife would have an age difference. Let’s just say she got married at 24, + 1 year for the pregnancy with Ollie and how long it took to conceive. 25 + 15 (Ollie’s age basically) she’d be around 39/40ish in 2024? Correct my math and lore if I’m wrong yall…

If your math is matching right and by the ages of the kids they met sometime in 2011ish, So he'd be 38 and if she got married at 22, waited to have a baby at 24+1 for the pregnancy and 1 more year for the time frame of her leaving Turner (yes her ex-husband gets an ugly name). She'd be 26 when they met.

As for the previous marriage! (CW: Baby trapping and abuse in a varieties of ways) (Also, there's literally no excuse to abuse your partner...)

They definitely got married young, probably met in college and decided to get married after she graduated (he's like a year or 2 older than her). Turner's got some fancy business job that makes him stressed constantly and he's away a lot so she didn't get to see him often.

She's got a degree in Public Relations and knows a few languages as she took elective courses to make her resume look all that more sparkling when graduating. And so she shot high, applying for a lot of jobs (it's about 2006 at this point so the job market isn't that bad) she gets a lot of offers.

She ends up taking some assitant position at a relator office and the market crash is 08 pretty much made her job vanish. So she's unemployed and solely relying on Turner. Which is fine, he's doing well and they have a good income. Nothing to worry about too much. But for ages now they've argued and it got really heated. Got in each others faces. But she loves him so she stays. But her patience is waring thinner and thinner by the day.

She gets pregnant and he's just... Awful. Manipulative and making everything out to be about how this is going to solely affect him. (Even though he most definitely got her pregnant on purpose so she'd have no choice but to stay) But she debates on keeping the baby and eventually Turner tells her she is. Doesn't even let her think otherwise after that, love bombs her because it's noticeable she has one foot out the door. But even after that she's on edge constantly. Flinching at the slightest knock or slam of a door because she thinks something's wrong immediately.

Turner still argues with her, has escalated to calling her a worthless cow by now. Telling her all she's ever been good for was giving him the son she's pregnant with. Eventually he goes away for business and she tries gaining some sense of independence. So she gets a shitty marketing job where she basically calls people all day and gets hung up on. July 2009 rolls around and Ollie's born. Turner makes her quit her job so she can take care of the baby. Complaining about how they can't afford daycare right now.

So she complies... Quiting her job. Things got worse and worse from that point on. This is when the physical abuse starts. They're fighting in the kitchen and Ollie's asleep in his room. Turner comes in from work and they start going at it. Ollie wakes up and starts crying over the baby monitor. Immediately she's going to see what's wrong and the argument shifts to her mothering skills and how Oliver seems to be getting too reliant on her. So she spits back at him about how if she had some help it wouldn't be like that.

Turner slaps her, she's shocked. He actually put his hands on her. He wedges her between the babys bedroom door and his body. His hands gripping her hard enough to bruise. Gritting his teeth as he threatens her. Telling her if she ever talks to him like that again he'll do a lot more than just a simple slap. He let's her go and tells him to shut the baby up.

So she goes into Ollie's room and consoles him and she starts silently crying herself. Realizing the severity of everything now. She can't stay, that was just the first time and if he'd do that feet away from the baby imagine what he'd do in front of him...

So she start slowly warming him up to the idea of getting a job again. To help get Ollie in daycare or even a nanny so they can get out of their apartment and into a house with enough space. Turner agrees, letting her look for a job. She applies for a job as a communications team lead at the BSAA. It sounds like an easy enough job. And she's over qualified. Saving up for nearly a year all while taking countless instances of abuse verbally or physically.

She gets the job easily. Ends up setting up her checks to go into her friends business account and transfer her paychecks into a separate account because she lied to Turner and told him she got a job with her friend so it be "more secure" and less likely to be fired. He buys it. She slowly pulls money out of her second account and hides it in the babies room until he goes on a business trip for work.

Literally packs all their stuff in the back of a moving truck and goes to Bella (her best friend since highschool) begging for the help she needs and of course she takes them in...

She's finally out of that hellhole. Slaps him with a divorce filing not long after. Getting a push from the countless police reports they'd had filed over domestic disputes. No need to wait to separate. But the divorce takes time itself.

She takes night shifts, switching spots with the night shift lead because it's higher pay. The only thing that she hates about the job is the people she has to deal with. Especially with the Alpha team leader who frequently talks over her or orders his men to shut comms off in enemy territory when it's literally her job to relay information. You strictly deal with this Redfield guy only...

Well each team lead needs to join a special meeting with the BSAA'S UN ambassador to go over how each department is doing. So you're all sat around this long table and they slowly introduce everyone as each department or team head stands up and talks about everything. It's your turn, you stand and introduce yourself. Talk about everything that's been happening since your shift change and each teams performance could use improvements. But this absolute brick wall of a guy 3 seats down is just staring... Intensely...

Everyone is staring, they're supposed to when someone's presenting. But his feels different. Almost like you're an exhibit and he's a patron of some kind watching you in your natural habitat. You sit, being thanked by the ambassador as he moves along the table. Eventually landing on the massive guy.

The words "Alpha team leader" leave the ambassadors mouth as this bear man stands up. He's so tall... Built like a buff rectangle... He talks, introducing himself as Chris Redfield.

Of course... His name would be something douchey like Chris. He's just talking and you can't help but dig your nails into your hands he's so irritating. Eventually the meeting ends and you're saying your goodbyes as you leave the meeting room and who's waiting at the elevator.

Redfield... Of course.

You really can't help yourself at this point, this man's been on your nerves for the past 2 months now. You need to say something. So you stomp towards him, pulse beating in your neck the longer you look at him.

"Hey asshole." He turns his attention as you walk up to him. He looks down at you, the size difference being almost laughable as you glare at him.

"You got a lot of fucking nerve talking to me like you do sometimes." His eyebrows raise and lips part, about to say something when you cut him off.

"Whatever you're about to say, save it... My job is to relay information to your TEAM, not it's captain. I'm supposed to keep you and your squad safe and informed. You aren't letting me do my God damn job."

You jab a nail into his chest, poking hard.

"I need this job. My money goes straight from my wallet into my babys mouth and I'm not gonna be the one explaining to him why mommy can't feed him because some... Some giant, steroid obsessed... bear looking man can't keep his mouth shut! So do us both a favor, shut the fuck up and let me talk to your team."

You take in a breath and he stares wide eyed and almost amazed by your display of forwardness. The elevator dings next to him as he makes some kind of "um" sound. But you don't care what he has to say, you just push past him and decide to take the stairs down.

Your next shift you come in to your desk to a bouquet of flowers and a hand written apology from Chris himself. At the bottom his phone number is scribbled next to his signature. With a 'P.S. If you ever need anything, don't be scared to reach out.'

I know you’ve talked about solo stans or akgaes on &off in a lot of your posts but I was wondering if you can make something like a guide to how to spot them in the wild like their common talking points etc because I see so many well meaning armys both new &old keep falling for their ideas not knowing how distorted their perception of bts and hybe is. I think it would be really helpful. I shared your anti post to a few fellow armys & they found it really helpful esp since at the time jimin was getting a lot of hate &a lot of us were feeling bad for him. It would be really helpful if we had something like that for solos or akgaes but ofc only if you wanted or if you had time cuz i know your really super busy. Thank you bpp!

Ask 2: Bpp with this BB issue deleting Jimin's sales with no comment from the company, people are becoming solo stans and I don't know how to stop it. I tried explaining to my friend that BH isn't liked by BB, they're a Korean company and BB is a private American company that has all the power so BH has to be careful to not blacklist BTS more than before. She brought up newjeans but I told her it's under a different company but she didn't care. She's now saying boycott D Day is the only way BH will listen! I never knew she had this side to her! I'm not trying to convince anybody here. When I write what I do, I'm not actually asking anybody to agree with me, nor do I care if they do. And this applies to solos, shippers, OT7 ARMYs whatever version or combination of those comes across my posts.

This is probably going to be controversial (lol), but I think the people who become solo stans, akgaes, shooters, toxic shippers, etc, were always going to be that. Granted, sometimes siloed environments can radicalize people into joining those factions, like baby ARMYs who get into taekook through Youtube rabbit holes, but it's also true some people are naturally more susceptible to radicalization than others, and some people are more prone to twisted ways of thinking, they just need a cause or catalyst. And I'm not interested in pointing out the road maps to get out of cuckooland.

What I've observed is that a lot of the time, the view a person takes about Jimin, BTS, k-pop, HYBE, etc, has more to do with their own personal inclinations/experiences, than anything that's actually happening in reality.

It's no good pointing out the difference in power dynamics between BigHit and Eldridge Industries, if the person you're talking to is personally distrustful of authority and corporations to begin with.

What good is there talking to someone who refuses to understand how an independent label/subsidiary functions within a parent/conglomerate?

Do you think the people calling for BigHit to market BTS the way those fans and the Western entertainment industry would prefer, care about the number of times the members have explicitly said they've always known of easier ways to get success, but choose to decline those methods?

Every instance we have of Jimin asserting himself, a trait that over 10 years appears to be very dominant in him, becomes background noise for people who believe him to be too timid, too stupid, or too selfless to stand up for himself.

...and so on.

These are people who cannot think beyond a very narrow set of ideas that hinge on their personal experiences. They cannot imagine any other scenario in which HYBE might not release a statement in response to Billboard's selective application of the rules; they cannot think of any other reason why we haven't seen Jimin post a cake for his album, or BigHit posting an article for his Hot 100 win, except that their golden boy is suffering in the gilded cage that is HYBE; they cannot think beyond their own personal needs as a fan, to see that their expectations might not align with Jimin's; they cannot comprehend any other reasons for what's happening to Jimin, except that his team is actively sabotaging his career out of malice and coercion (by their expectations); that Yoongi akgae (in SS above) cannot comprehend the eventual outcome of their race to the bottom with other members' akgaes, when reporting playlists for rival members or review bombing their albums; they cannot think of any other reasons why xyz member has less lines, screentime, promotion times, etc; and so on.

Something you'll notice about every solo stan and toxic shipper, every single one, is that all their ideas always lead to one logical conclusion. They can dress it up in different ways, and yeah there are stages where some people are farther along that narrative arc than others, but without fail, every single akgae theory is subversive to the idea of BTS, and always ends at one logical point.

Anon in ask 2, this is probably not the answer you wanted, but I have nothing to say to your friend besides "good luck". We all have at least 10 years of bangtan history available to us; we all see various examples of all the members making sacrifices to uphold the one thing they all claim they love above all else - their team; we see several examples of BigHit navigating adversarial environments in Korea *and* the West, to make BTS the biggest group in the world with ARMY supporting the whole time.

Anybody becoming an akgae today over this BB debacle and BigHit's handling of it, over Chapter 2 roll-outs and sales numbers, etc, would have been one in 2016, or 2018, or any other time the members faced inequitable treatment that just happened to hit that person's mental sweet spot, the set of conditions that in their heads that results in only one explanation: the member they love being hated and exploited by their team with no recourse and no agency. Lmao, welcome back to me !!! I know, it was the longest hiatus I've had since I started this Tumblr account but life has been C R A Z Y.

I've already talked about the fact that I was taken off the Latin Honor list, so that's 3 years of hard work trying to maintain grades, extracurriculars, and social life down the drain. Such a wasteful thing cause I only needed a few points to secure my grade— grades that I had after a loooot of efforts but the idiot 'instructor' randomly decided to take out. A shame really, since I only have one year left to finish my Bachelor's. My mother's 50th birthday gift was supposed to be my Magna cum Laude. I guess I have to think of a new present, lol.

Also, I had to process a lot of trauma since last year and the first half of this year has been traumatic for me. 😂 Had to process these bad boys.

Last September my father had a newborn son. (Child of separated parents here.) Decided to play house with his new girl and her kids, with their new baby (not me) while the rest of his relatives sided with them, too and went against me. It was a messy business standing up for myself (yuck, toxic grown adults arguing with and gaslighting a twenty something) but I managed it. They've learned not to fight me nor ignore me, so I'll take that as a win.

Soon after, my mother adopted a toddler-boy, too. Then played house with her new boy and their own son, too.

I came from a country where being a boy is more impressive than being a golden child your whole life. My house right now is literally filled with gold medals, trophies, certificates, sash, crowns, and awards. But of course, I'm not a boy, so... "I won't be able to pass on the family name." (Like, fuck off. I'll be the most successful member of this family anybody will ever know; you'll only be known cause of your association with me.)

I am soooo glad I don't live with any of them anymore. I've made a home for myself (yes, their money but the point still stands).

Numerous health scares. Appendicitis attacks. Astigmatism attacks. I got bitten by a puppy twice in a span of two weeks. Then the puppy died so we knew he got rabies. (I got my shots, don't worry.) I twisted my ankle. And I've been coughing and sneezing every morning for three weeks now (allergies). You know, the usual.

In good news, I have fallen in love with Eve Best. So... If you watch edits of her on TikTok, you have probably already seen my account since I comment on the edits ... A lot... you just have to guess which one is mine. Lmao, good luck with that.

Also, I was chosen by the cat distribution system!!! I got a cat now. Her full name is Zumi Issi Sannanna Malyk. She came down from my ceiling's open panel one day, laid on my lap, and stayed at my house. I named her Zumi because she likes zoomies (she broke two glasses and one vase in three months!); Issi because I loved Valyrian even though I don't speak it; Sannanna because I got addicted to that Bollywood song that became a TikTok trend; and Malyk after one of my pen names. She's an orange cat so you know she's a handful. Aside from her, stray cats also stay at my garage when it's raining and it's rainy season where I am, so they fill my garage. (I can't adopt them all cause they don't stay in one place. I feed them and keep them warm instead.)

I guess, you can also say that I've been chosen by the dog guarding system, too. Since there are a few stray dogs that are guarding my house from the outside. They run away when I try to come near though, so I just leave the food on my door or toss it in their direction.

I've grown two plants. They bloomed, by the way. Then the one that's got three flowers in it (after ten weeks of me taking care of it!!!)— got stolen. RIGHT AT MY FRONT PORCH. I didn't really mind, 'cause the people who stole it might need it more you know. I hope it cheered them up. Then the other one who stayed with me for five weeks more, got a big chunk of its stem stolen, too. My mother said they probably used it to plant more. I hope the stem grows cause my plant died! I cried about it, too.

University starts again next, next week. Aside from my regular extracurriculars, thesis, internship, and usual busy-ness, I am also set to lead my program's Theatre Org so that's fun (and busy).

Going into work was one of the less pleasant parts of your day to say the least. Your coworkers were loud, obnoxious at times, and just awful to you. On the daily when you would clock in, they would greet you with snarky comments about your outfit choice and hairstyle. Saying these things just to get a reaction out of you. To infuriate you for a reason you had no idea of. . It felt like snotty high school drama and you were getting fed up with it. Being constantly ridiculed even as you were minding your own business.

But only after 20 minutes or so, you noticed a few of the people in the office weren't at their desks. Confused, you looked around, wondering if they just went on break together. Asking the person whose desk was beside yours if he knew but that wasn't the case. They apparently were talking with each other for a bit before leaving together. He then told you there were snacks in the break room and that you should go get some before they're all gone.

Sighing to yourself, you agree and walk over to the room. Stepping in, you hear some hushed giggles get louder. But trying your best, you ignore them. You spot the snacks and head straight for them.

"You should try these ones, y/n. They're really good." one of the guys says.

"Uh.. thanks?" you reply before reaching for one of the pastries.

With your back turned, you feel someone forcefully push you towards the table and you fall face first into the snack box. Shocked and frozen, you just stand there slumped over and everyone in the room starts laughing and making fun of the sight of you like this.

That's when you hear someone else walk in the room and the laughing stops. Dropping whatever they were holding in the process. Confused, you wipe your face and look up to see who it was. The person in question just so happened to be your boyfriend San. You didn't register what he had said to the group until you watched all of their faces drop in horror.

He had said, "What the hell do you guys think you're doing, huh? Do you really think it's okay to treat your coworkers like this? Like we're all still in high school? Picking on each other like you have nothing better to do? They've done nothing to you, nothing to deserve this behavior from you all."

You struggle to balance yourself and stumble upon hearing his words. Attempting to process what he had just said. But he wasn't finished speaking his mind.

"The fact that I took time out of my own day, my own work schedule to come and visit my partner and I get here and see this bullshit. Tsk, you've got to be fucking kidding me right now. You all better be ashamed of yourselves for acting this childish. At work of all places."

"Y/n, you know what, let's go tell your boss about this mess. If he'd even give a shit since it seems like this has been going on for a while now. There's no way in hell he hasn't noticed."

He then picks up the small bouquet of white roses he was holding when he walked in off of the floor and walks over to you and grabs onto your arm to help you out of the room.

You had a giant headache now from being pushed into the table. Face still covered in icing, San walks you back over to your desk to collect your things and help you clean yourself off.

"Thank you, Sannie" you say, almost at a whisper but he still heard you loud and clear.

Him coming to your job to surprise you with flowers was sort of out of the ordinary in your relationship. He was usually very busy with his own job and you'd only see him before and after work, or on a happier occasion an off day for the both of you. San was also somewhat of an introvert especially when it came to strangers but he has an extremely soft side of course.

"Of course, my love. When it comes to you I'll always make sure everyone respects you and appreciates you as much as I do." he says, still wiping the remainder of the pastries off of you.

After talking with your boss and San calling into work to tell his boss that he's not coming back for the day, the two of you leave and make your way back to your shared apartment.

"You know what we should do now that we have the rest of the day off?" He asked

"What about ice cream and a few episodes of that drama we were trying to finish?" you answered

"Sounds perfect."

Say Wanda and R make it, they have their domestic life, while they still have their batshit crazy moments - Wanda with the "why did you help that woman in the store?! Are you sleeping with her?!" And R with the - "I gotta go kill someone before I kill you..."

Let's say the kids are late teens and they've slowly realised how not-normal their parents are (always hearing heated arguments then the next day Wanda and R are all lovey dovey at breakfast) they eventually find out that both Wanda and R are crazy but they're kinda glad because they have a tendency to be violent too...

Would they tell Wanda and R? How would they react?? Would Wanda and R be proud because they have protégés that can carry on their legacy???

The tendency is for R and Wanda's relationship to become something of that nature, which is kinda… sad, to be honest. R would be so busy trying not to follow (and failing) in her parents' footsteps that she wouldn't even realize they were actually becoming Wanda's parents in a way. Wanda grew up in an environment with parents who were totally problematic towards each other, and that was really never what she wanted for her own children.

Of course, she and R have a lot more pleasant times than her parents ever had and they usually show love to each other somehow, but they are troubled people who always end up hurting each other in some way. In fact, it is not the ideal environment to raise children, and the twins will certainly be affected by it.

But I imagine that if any of them were going to develop this compulsive need for violence like R's, it would be Billy (excluded at school, being bullied, just harboring all the hatred towards the world… and listening to his parents yelling at each other late at night). And it would be Wanda and Pietro's story all over again, but this time with Billy and Tommy. The difference is that Wanda would never walk into her parents cleaning the blood off the kitchen floor after one of them killed a neighbor in an impulsive act lol

R would actually accept Billy, and so they would finally have the close relationship that Billy wanted his whole life to have with his parent but never had. Maybe he just agreed to do these things with R to please R herself, to gain her approval he never had before. And R would just be being the parent she never had… in a pretty sick way.

Tommy, on the other hand, would grow even more disturbed by the realization that this little secret in his family is nothing but a hideous thing, and that it's not animals that R takes Billy hunting every month.

And Wanda, who had always been just a little closer to Tommy, would take his side. Given that she's prone to putting the twins first rather than R, maybe she even conspired with Tommy to take R out, who knows? I think that in this AU R will always be destined to be taken out of the picture by Wanda (in a kinda… bloody way) for the sake of the twins' well-being. And then Wanda would just project all her toxicity onto them LMAO

all these people are so crazy, there's really nothing in this family that wouldn't be problematic and fucked up and toxic lol

This season really triggered me. My ex was a bit like Bobbie. He also went through a lot of bad things and sometimes thought that this was the explanation for all his actions. I loved him very much, so I forgave him for all his stupidity. He always said he wanted to change. And he wants to be a better person. I admit that he tried, but somehow he always fell back into the same spiral. And he dragged me along with him. I suffered a lot with him, and I also suffered because of him. During one of our fights where I asked him to see a specialist who could help him, his reaction was to slap me. That's where our relationship ended. I broke up with him. It was a toxic relationship. And Anais and Bobbie's relationship seemed a bit like that too. But it's a show, so everyone's happy in the end. But the reality is a little different. Just because someone is young and has gone through bad things is not an excuse for everything.

And regarding anobbies relationship, yeah they were unhealthy during the hellweeks, but I genuinely think that the writers didn't intend to make them that unhealthy, but went completely overboard with the writing, even the actress of Bobbie was busy liking tweets criticising the writers for making Bobbie so toxic for a lack of better word, they completely threw the relationship out of balance, like that was the same bobbie who was so attentive to anais at first, always looked out for her, and tried to push her ro become more assertive, and had great communication with Anais, just to completely ignore Anais state during hellweek, and that's why I'm glad anais broke up temporarily with bobbie, and I wasn't the only one lol, virtually everyone was cheering on that

And for bobbies past, while they explain her behaviour, they definitely don't excuse it, but she did acknowledge that when she went to talk to Anais in ep10, she more or less implied that her fathers death can't be used as an excuse/explanation for how she treated anais and behaved during the hellweeks, and I genuinely believe she understood the consequences of her actions, or else she wouldn't have offered to turn herself in so that Hanne and the others would talk to Anais again, and that was the first big issue they had, and I genuinely believe Bobbie won't behave the way she did in the hellweeks if they have any future conflicts, or else that whole character arc would've been for nothing

But yeah I agree with you, a bad past doesn't excuse bad behaviour towards others, and if you can, you should seek help, the thing with bobbie is that the only help she could afford was weed since her mum more or less neglects her and provides a very unstable household, and she implied that their financial situation isn't the best so I don't know if they could afford therapy (if you have to pay for it in Belgium idk), but she is making the first steps to become better, and I'm sure with the help of Anais and club 07 she'll be able to be the best version of herself

But yeah, in real life, you should not feel obligated to stay with someone who mistreats you and uses their past as an excuse, especially when they've shown time and time again that they won't change, you should put yourself first and leave when you can

I DO agree with him that good things DO come to those who wait!! 😊 I also feel too that a lot of actors who get fame later on in like probably do tend to appreciate it more and have a totally different perspective on it because they've had to struggle and struggle for years. So their view (and their fans views) on fame, money, projects, etc might differ from those who got super famous at a young age.

Their fans also might feel a little differently and may not be so hard on their faves with regards to what films they should be doing, because they remember when their fave was just doing bit parts on TV shows and films, so maybe their expectations for their faves aren't so high and they may not get as angry by what their fave is doing, or NOT doing. 😅

Look, when you've been a fan of various actors over the years who are in a wide range of different places in their career like I have, you learn not to get upset or take things like an actor's "career" too seriously. I thought I was the only one who thinks Loustat's romance is as dry as a desert. I don't know whether is the direction or the cinematography or writing or whatever the fuck. I see all this sex but none of the desire which is funny because it's all the way around in the books, no dicks touch butts in the novel but it is still a very sensual read. I don't think is a lack of chemistry between the actors neither because they're both clearly committed to their roles and enjoy their parts. I don't know. It's all very weird. Maybe Bryan just hit the jackpot with Hugh and Mads.

I MEAN HE DEFINITELY HIT A JACKPOT LMAO but like I don't think Jacob & Sam are bad, either, and like THEY HAVE SO MUCH CHEMISTRY IN INTERVIEWS???? WHERE IS THAT ON THE SHOW?

It's largely about the writing though and like all my complaints about the show have to do with writing. They're both doing awesome work with what they're given lmao.

I've complained about this a few times already LMAO but all of the sort of self aggrandizing that the show is doing about ~ReMoVing the SuBTExT~ is so hollow to me when you sit down and watch the show and realize the "subtext" they meant was to say THEY FUCK and not THEY ARE IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER. It reduces love to being about sex in a way that's so just, honestly tacky and disappointing and so out of sync with what I see in the novels.

Like where's the sensuality and heat and fuck-me-eyes and steamy blood sharing and casual intimacy? Don't just show me Sam's ass in the pilot in a scene that's arguably dubcon. Don't sell your show as a romance when the most genuine interaction between them was 2 seconds from Claudia's POV.

I think there's a lot of telling and not showing going on; I spent the entire first episode not sure what Louis sees in him aside from the mind gifting & coercion, because they made the choice to montage their courtship and not show us the romance. The second episode Louis had to literally say like 5 times "He was enthralling" voiced over scenes of abuse and coercion. Third episode is infidelity drama with Louis's puppydog eyes going "Aren't I enough?" and like ?? Where does this even come from? Do they even like each other lol.

Plus with all the confusing exposition about why are we doing a second interview that scene when Daniel plays the tape at him is so ??? THEYRE THE SAME PICTURE LOL. It ruins the argument that they look worse/more frigid because of Louis's POV. They're telling us out loud that Louis is portraying Lestat as his soulmate, that's the story we're supposed to be getting? But he's still coming off like a complete asshole? This confused me so much.

Enjoy the toxic ship as much as you want but I just, don't see the horniness personally. Louis has been abused to an honestly unreasonable degree, and they used such real-world tropes to show us that it doesn't feel like fantastical vampire drama, especially when they've made such a point in anchoring his character into his race. Everyone had a problem with the violence in episode 5 but doesn't seem to care about the insincere gift-giving in episode 6, when that's JUST as realistic to real life abuse. But what I've learned from this fandom is that abuse isn't real unless someone hits you lol but that's not my business.

(Let's also not get into how the abuse in Episode 6 was also largely directed at Claudia but that's another story.)

I just don't get it like, we know from Hannibal, from Tony Soprano, from Walter White, from Dexter, that you can have fun with a bad guy, you can still enjoy when he gets what's coming to him, you can cheer for him through the badness. They had Lestat there already and oversold it, imo. He was already so petty and abusive and poorly behaved and it would've made sense that they rise up against him. They just oversold it so hard in a way that's just so uncomfortable (real world uncomfortable) outside of genre convention and just isn't all that fun to watch tbh. And they've made Louis such a sad sack it's just, so hard to watch him go through this. I think if he had a shred of agency it would feel more like it was in his own power and I'm just not really getting that from the story they're telling us and it's honestly just so fucking depressing.

And all that and it's like, not even sexy idk. Like if you're having fun and it gets you off, please enjoy! I just think it's being beaten over the head, like it was already so abusive via the gaslighting and whatnot and that type of CHEMISTRY is something I really enjoy in toxic ships hahaha but it's just like, so unrelenting and it's hard to enjoy when we never get to see them just loving each other.

Like, when Lestat is inevitably murdered and Louis has to deal with the guilt and grief of it, what is he even going to be grieving? With Paul they made the point to let us see their relationship so we understand what he lost, and with Lestat? idk. It'll be more of the voiceover going "He was all I knew" without like, letting us enjoy that on screen while it's still here.

I just wanted to come by and say bravo, I totally agree with you on your RPF shaming post. Everybody daydreams about the stuff inside their heads, so why is it so bad to just write it down? It's not real anyway, it's not like people are unaware that it's fiction, people aren't so crazy as to think they can somehow manifest it nto reality just by typing it up. It's a weird flex, and I don't understand it. And people being bullied for it is total bullshit.

I don't think people should gatekeep in fandom at all (okay there are rare exceptions) but there's always someone who needs to create some sort of hierarchy where if you aren't "fandoming" correctly, there's something wrong with you. And it sucks. It's like with the ship wars. Just let people enjoy what they enjoy and leave everyone else alone!

Thank you! Exactly. It's not harming anybody and they don't have to read what they're not interested in but what makes other people happy isn't any of their business and shouldn't be an issue. This controlling through shame is an ugly phenomenon and I'd like to see it stop because people are just getting meaner and meaner all the time and it honestly freaks me out. This culture of hatred and superiority shouldn't be part of fandom. Isn't a fan community a space where characters etc. are celebrated together? Aren't we here to connect with people like us while there's enough toxic people berating us irl? Fans who look down on other fans for enjoying something have to be pretty cold and mean spirited. Acting better than someone for that... smh. Reading literature designed for fans should not be considered embarrassing or make people feel bad about themselves. This is some Brave New World type weird attitude indeed. People should be allowed to explore fictional worlds like this and I agree, writing is a safe and healthy way to do that. I don't like going on Twitter or on the dash in certain orbits and seeing people mocking readers of y/n and policing content, it's just... extreme and rude to me. Why??? People are just so vicious toward others and don't know when to stop but I think this is an example that crosses a line. And to act like they've never fantasized about their fav characters... lol. Do they really think they're fooling anyone?
