AND I THOUGHT SWEETIES WERE ALLERGIC TO ANGST!!!! /HVYJ....... and it's so well done...... it will make you cry. TT....... chapter 57 'poppy' is nainai's biggest opp. (╯▔皿▔)╯!!! grrrr i will get you, zizi.. bite the bullet by @.88czns and @.mawuwamaz. ot6 rdwy (myeongyoko, magnetz, flowerz) ft. dreamie, mafia au, multi-fic series, ongoing. btb is not one fic, but multiple inside one named bundle! it is basically many stories set in the same universe with the same characters lol. my personal favorite is the flowerz one, because while the dynamic is similar to sunflower and marigold.. there is something more shocking when you get to the middle point hehe. btb has too many good things to talk about, so nainai suggests that you check it out for yourself and leave a reblog!! 🙇‍♂️ we are endless by @.endeulset. post-disbandment, ot7, chaptered, finished. nainai believes that this one is the most emotional, especially for endeuls.. two chapters cover one member (except for seongsu2 who stick together in their chapters) and detail speculations, how they feel about separating from czn and skytali, staying to work there (like sunwoo, jeonghui, and jiyoon), and even having a special chapter inspired by subin's twitter post with the bunnies at the restaurant.. it's very nostalgic and melancholic, your heart feels calm as you read ^^. as an endeul, it made me feel happy for the members, knowing that they've gone on paths that they know they'll be truly happy with.. but they'll still find ways to be together that's all!! maybe nainai will make a bigger post with all her recs, but that's for another day..

I've been thinking about this for a few weeks, hope it's fluffy enough even though it's not class A!!

So, I have this HC that since they've gone pro Dynamight and Deku have hogged the number one position.

Deku has had it most years, but Dynamight has snatched it quite a few times. Every year has the entire population of Japan betting on who'll be in the top spot this time.

Eijirou isn't jealous, never has been, on contrary he's very proud of his explosive boyfriend and, honestly, has been doing quite well for himself!!

Red Riot gradually-but-costantly climbing up the ranks and he's proud of it because it means more and more people are seeing and appreciating his hard work, but ultimately he never wanted to be a hero for the fame or glory of it. So, while he's pretty happy about seeing that the people he protects like him, he never put more effort into getting/keeping the public's favor than what's asked from his PR team. He just wants to genuinely help people and he's happy just doing that.

He helps save and rescue people in danger, he protects them and his fellow heroes, he reassures them. And while most heroes leaves it at that (plus public appearances), Red Riot goes way beyond that.

He's the hero that makes sure you make it home safely (or accompanies you there himself), that talks you down of a panic attack, that helps old ladies and gentlemen cross the road and carry groceries, that stops to help parents with fussy children or lost kids and takes photos and gives out autographs to everyone who asks it. He's also the hero that keeps contact with the people he saved (and ask him to stay in touch), he's the one that always answer the phone when one of them needs to talk to someone, that accompanies them to therapy and holds their hand in support groups, that visits hospitals and orphanages alike, that shows up for protests and campaigns to grant people their rights. He's the hero that cares about the villains too. He goes visiting them in prison, helps them to reform and find jobs, that eases them into re-inserting themselves into society (given that it's possible and that said villains wants to reform).

Everyone loves him and slowly but surely he's gaining popularity. People starts to notice his efforts and how they're not publicity stunts, but just how the red-headed hero is. Forums and fan pages about him start to get more and more popular, his merchandise sells increase more and more, he gets requests for interviews and tv/radio appearences.

And the Sturdy Hero gets a new, softer nickname in the streets and the web.

And the thing is, Eijirou is still completely oblivious to it.

Like, he genuinely doesn't notices because he never cared about ranks, or popularity. He has alerts on his phone for news/citations (hope is the right word) for basically every other hero besides himself and every year he's completely blindsided by his jumps up the statistics.

He's in the top 100, then the top 50, then the top 20, then the 10, then he's the number 8 hero, then he's number 5. Last year he finally gets in the top 3 behind Deku (#1) and Dynamight (#2) and he can't believe it, he's completely flabberstagged, it takes him three months (and a good deal of Katsuki's delighted screeching -sue him, he's fucking proud of hi bf- ) to start responding to the call for the #3 hero.

This year though, he's sure it's Katsuki's year, he's ready to celebrate his boyfriend in a very special way, a little velvet box sitting heavily in his pocket, a ring and question closed tight in it.

The announcer finally calls for the Top 3.

Deku's third, which is expected as he had to cut a bit on hero work to take care of his newly-born, rambunctious, triplets baby girls.

What is not expected in Dynamight being NUMBER FUCKING 2.

And finally Number 1 is announced: RED RIOT IS THE NEW NUMBER ONE HERO.

Kiri almost dies on the spot. He?? Number one?? When the fuck did it happen?? But all his friends are cheering and whooping like crazy and lots of them are crying (Deku fucking stop, you're gonna drown us!!) and Katsuki is shaking him and hugging him and has tears in his eyes ("hypocrite!" "shut thE FUCK UP NERD") and Eijirou starts to cry too because what the fuck? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?? How did he get to number one when there are so many amazing heroes out there??

Then Kami and Mina and Uraraka and others are showing him their phones, all opened on different sites and social networks, showing posts upon posts about all the things Red Riot has done for the people, from small personal favors to big heroics deeds that made the titles, all throughout his career, from when he was just a first year student to that same day.

And, of course the top trend on each of it: #The Caring Hero, Red Riot.

(The surprises of the day haven't finished yet because at the party that night he found out he wasn't the only one to have bought a ring)

This is arguably the longest post on this blog so HERE WE GO KIDS.

1. What part of a creative project excites you the most?

Writing-wise, probably writing inner dialogue or the character's thought. That and writing funny bits. Drawing-wise, the sketching process. It feels nice to spill one's ideas on paper while your pencil dances on it with your hand as its guide, leaving markings that tell a story through visuals.

2. If you could teleport anywhere in the world RIGHT NOW but could only stay for 45 minutes where would it be and why?

Please send me to the Swiss Alps. I could use some green grass and tranquility.

3. Favorite animal.

CATS. Dogs are cool too but I'm more of a cat person.

4. If you where a dog what breed would you be?

Hmmmm.... I'm not very familiar with dog breeds but I KNOW I won't be a chihuahua.

5. Favorite trait you value in a friend.

Sincerity. If you're not sincere then why are we friends to begin with?

6. Favorite season?

Easily sub-tropical spring/autumn (I cannot pick), second being sub-tropical winter. I used to live in Hong Kong for three years and so far those two are my favourite seasons.

7. Coolest injury/scar story you have (if you want to tell it).

Well, I DID slice off a bit of my right middle finger while chopping carrots at my grandma's when I was 13-14 years old.

8. What color would you paint your bedroom if you could choose?

Well, I already like the white walls. But a very light shade of pink or blue or green sounds good too.

I really like Steven Universe but right now I'm currently digging GeGeGe No Kitarou (2018) and WotaKoi. Bake With Anna Olson is also a favourite of mine.

10. Something you’re proud of?

I'm surprisingly proud of the little comics I made for the Coco fandom! I never thought people will like them but apparently they do and it makes me super happy! I'm also proud of some of the graphic design stuff I did for a Muslim organization I was in for two years (I decided to catch a breather this year). They weren't as fun as my usual stuff but thanks to that I have a better grasp at colour palettes now.

11. Superpower you would most want to have.

Either levitation or transfiguration or the ability to talk to spirits. There are a lot of them at my university so I think it'd be neat to know what their problem is. I mean, some DID possess some people in the university gym around two years ago.

Midnight when everyone in my house is sound asleep safe for me.

3. Favorite color palette

Any 1/2/3-colour palette accompanied with white. There's something about the simplicity of white that brings out the best of each colour known to man.

4. Are you a swimmer or a sand-castle sculptor?

The thing is I don't like going to the beach that much. I have a bad experience with it that I would rather not talk about. Also because I'm a lazy bum who refuses to take her socks off. But if I were to go to a beach, I probably would make sand castles instead. Or better yet, find a secluded place or a nearby cafe so I can draw in peace until sunset.

5. If you ever got to meet your hero(ine) what would you talk about?

I don't know, to be honest (；・∀・) I'll probably just say thank you for everything they've done to make the world a better place.

6. Clearance Aisle or Thrift Store?

Both are good! I do admit, my fashion sense matches that of the clearance aisle more than the thrift stores here. But maybe if I find some rad shoes that might change!

7. If you had enough money for the house of your dreams, where would you live and why?

Probably somewhere in the countryside of South Sulawesi or West Java or Europe, far from the shore and noise pollution. Somewhere in the mountains/hillside, maybe? Preferably with a yard filled with flowers and a mango tree. I don't know, really. Maybe because it reminds me of how my grandma's front yard looked like when I was still a small child?

Or maybe in one of those abandoned castles in Europe. That's cool too.

8. It’s raining like crazy outside. How does that affect your mood?

One, it makes me feel good but also sleepy. Two, lowkey scared because whenever it rains here the wind, thunder, and lightning go crazy as well. Once, the door to the balcony at my house was blown open by the wind and the TV room nearly got soaked. Gotta love tropical weather, amirite.

9. Would you rather go on an adventure by yourself and make new friends on the way, or depart on an adventure with the friends you now have?

Having friends sounds like a much safer option. But being on my own sounds cool too.

10. Favorite sound?

Genuine, happy laughter. The kind of laughter you hear after someone tells a really good joke. The kind you hear when you successfully tickle somebody. The kind you hear from a happy couple on a date. The kind that can make you fall in love with somebody. The kind you hear from a baby (bonus points if the baby looks at you and you're the one that made the baby laugh).

Well, unless you're physically alone somewhere dark and surrounded by big trees. If that's the case then you either walk in a calm and orderly fashion while making sure your mind doesn't go blank or you RUN.

11. Would you rather journey to the very bottom of the ocean or to outer space?

Outer space. Definitely outer space.

More than a decade ago, probably. It was the mango(?) tree at my grandma's in Toli-toli, Central Sulawesi.

3. Do you ever people-watch? If so, what’s the most memorable person you’ve seen?

Sometimes, yes! I tend to do that on my way home, whether I'm on a train or riding on the passenger seat of a motorcycle. I saw a bakso (Indonesian noodle soup often with bakso aka boilef beef meatballs) vendor feeding a cat yesterday and it was so heartwarming to see, even for a few seconds since the motorcycle was moving.

4. What kind of art do you enjoy most?

It's a tie between visual art and music!

5. What’s your favorite holiday?

Eid-ul Fitr, the day after Ramadhan! I mean, after thirty days of not eating and not giving in to temptations from sunrise til sunset you gotta celebrate with food! Fun fact, Eid-ul Fitr this year is on June 15th, the day Incredibles II will premiere and just four days before my birthday (well, one still has to take note of time zones but meh)! I specifically asked my mom to make more burasa this year for the occasion (๑´ڡ`๑)

6. What’s one thing you want to accomplish before you die?

Going to Mecca for pilgrimage.

7. What’s the best and worst thing about getting older?

The best? You get to learn more about life. The worst? You're getting closer to death and you can neither turn back nor backpedal.

8. If you were the last person on earth, what would you do?

Worry a lot, steal a lot of stuff in order to live, and try to live on until Death comes to pick me up.

9. What did you think you would grow out of but haven’t?

I thought I would grow out of that one purple Giordano hoodie I have but nope.
