heehee since i already did ripley/chen i get to talk about my toxic space lesbians >:3

this is sterling (on the left, they/she) and "the viper" (on the right, they/them). they're currently part of the scifi world that only exists in my brain and they're the WOOOOORST.

sterling has made a career out of extorting and blackmailing corrupt billionaires across the cosmos and viper is a master thief and alien hematophage parasite masquerading as human. they met shortly after sterling had run away from home. viper offered her a place with them (as long as sterling didn't mind giving up some of her blood), and they quickly became the most codependent crime duo in the world.

they would've built an insane empire together if sterling hadn't gotten fed up with viper's shit (fucking up a heist you had planned together sooo badly and then attempting to frame your girlfriend for murder to get yourself off the hook will test anybody's patience, viper.)

(the breakup was shockingly amicable, despite everything. sterling framed it as simply being too different on a professional level to continue working together. it's hard to say if viper ever truly loved sterling, so it was more of a loss of resources when sterling left them. viper still thinks they'd be friends if they were to waltz back into sterling's life. sterling hopes they choke but knows better than to pick a fight with them. they should hatefuck and break up again)
