the thing about Irondad is that i can make reality whatever i want and what i want is Tony being a cringe failure when it comes to the parenting side of things and Peter simultaneously being like "yeah he is a fucking loser" and "he's super smart though and learning from him has been awesome" and "but if he would be my dad that'd be cool." like Peter is an unreliable and a biased narrator at the same time so he thinks Tony is cool but in my eyes I know what he is. Tony is actually like "i would die for this kid" but having an emotional conversation feels like he's been asked to drag his bare ass across hot coals. he doesn't even know where to begin to accomplish that task. which is why Peter says things like "oh he doesn't say a lot of things to me about how he feels but i can read between the lines" and in his mind Tony says things that mean another thing but never are *quite* that thing. usually jokes that talk about what he means without having to say it or be vulnerable. in his POV he's freaking out that Peter is missing to the point of being physically ill about it, yet Peter couldn't imagine it's that bad or because losing *him* is the cause of that problem. that's how Irondad really is, and i can make it better because canon is my bitch now

Each time she wielded this weapon, she knew of the implications. It was no heirloom passed from from the previous emperor. No, it was hers in specific. Still, only few knew of this— Kronya could be counted among those numbers.

She spared a glance behind her; back towards Lysithea. Edelgard's anger boiled, if only because she tired of such farces. Even here, the world remained crooked. "You mistake me if you believe that's my intention. I'm hardly the type to wait around for others to act first."

As Kronya charged, Edelgard began to do the same. She did not fear that blade of hers— The emperor was confident that she would be the one to prevail. She swung the heavy axe in the air as if it was weightless before bringing it towards the other. It was difficult with as quick a target as Kronya, certainly.

That one glow... it stands for death as it does resonate with the crests Edelgard has. One thing for sure is Kronya will have to fight dirty to at least win this fight just to get rid of Lysithea and literally, Edelgard.

Asides from its edges made from bones, it's a dangerous weapon.

Kronya wondered what kind of an attack her enemy will do as Edelgard can be unpredictable with Aymr. "You're just gonna simply stand there, raising that axe of yours?" Now, Kronya proceeds to charge through her to an impaling attack.

I don't know what happened but I fell into the Evka/Antoine pit overnight after rereading parts of Tevinter Nights, and there's only a handful of things when I search for them so I'm adding to that pile myself!!

They've appeared multiple times in short stories and even the comics so I'm just waiting for DA4 stuff like "👀". Bioware pls give us the cute Wardens (preferably alive and well shjhfg but I'm expecting them to hurt me emotionally anyway bc this is DA after all, and there's been so much foreshadowing ;;v;;)

pouring one out for luo binghe in my disciple SQQ fic, poor guy has taken a backseat here. we're nearly 30k words deep and he hasn't even shown his face once. it'll be much longer before he even actually talks to Shen Qingqiu.

(i say im pouring one out but in reality im sitting in my director's chair chewing on a cigar and wearing a beret as he tearily and unsuccessfully pleads with me for more scenes with Shen Qingqiu)

February Fiction Fight

The easiest writing challenge, on the shortest month! The only goal is to write "a bit of something" each day.

Something. Anything. A cool scene that doesn't have a full story to fit into yet. A plot twist that would be great several books into a series. A description of the visuals in that one cool movie. A conversation between your favorite characters about an unlikely food combination.

A page, a paragraph, a sentence. What's that cool story you're going to write someday? Jot down what you know so far. Maybe you'll know more tomorrow. Or maybe you'll be off and running with some other fascinating concept.

No limits, no minimum wordcount! Just write a bit of something.
