So, picking up where my last post dropped off, imagine the two teams trying to plan what to do, but barely able to because Vakama ends up passing out to the point waking him up is very hard, Nokama can't talk, Nuju has no clue what anyone is saying, Whenua can't see, Matua has to fight to stay conscious, and Onewa is so "not there," he's letting Vakama rest on him and occasionally pats him on the head and keeps staring at Takanuva because he's pretty and shiny

Most of their survival boils down to constantly moving and going where there's no exo-Toa or Rakshi, easier said than done, but they manage. Many of the team members are separated from the group, namely Nuparu, Hahli, Kongu, Nuju, Nokama, and Onewa. The remaining teammates, Vakama, Jaller, Hewkii, Whenua, Matau, and Takanuva, have to trek on and hope their fellow Toa are doing the same, though tensions are high, especially between Jaller, Vakama, and Takanuva. Jaller is deeply upset and angered at Vakama because he thinks none of them would be where they are now had Vakama just told them what was happening. Vakama admits he should have told them, but also wouldn't have allowed Jaller to go as far as go to the realm of Karzahni, or allowed him to take his team with him

Matau and Takanuva break up the fight, but Jaller also snaps at Takanuva, shouting at him because while everyone was fighting and losing allies, he just wandered off again, leaving everyone alone to fight.

In a moment that shocks everyone, Takanuva quickly and stoicly slaps Jaller, snapping him out of his anger for a moment and quieting him so Takanuva can explain that they can't afford to fight each other, not when Teridax wants them to do just that, to be divided so it's easier to pick them off

Takanuva also gets to explaining where he's been and what happened, but on the condition that Jaller keep his mouth shut or Takanuva will leave them when they're not looking and he'll carry Vakama with him

While that's happening, Hahli, Nurapu, Kongu, Nokama, Nuju, and Onewa are sneaking as quietly as possible, Nokama trying to communicate to ask Hahli how she's taking what she just learned. Hahli admits she isn't sure how to feel, not with learning she was actually Nokama's student or with the knowledge that her old home has now turned into a prison. Nokama can understand that, but the two are distracted when they see Nuju dragged Onewa toward the group, frustrated and lashing out by punching a wall; he has no idea what anyone is saying and he's practically forgotten how to speak Matoran, so he feels stuck. Nokama tries to comfort him, because she can't talk, but what gets the two to really break down is seeing Kongu and Nuparu lead Onewa back to the group, because he keeps trying to wander away from them

The team, overwhelmed, scared, and feeling too many things at once, take a moment to cry, to be together in their pain. After a moment, they gather themselves and keep moving, Hahli and Kongu leading the group to Ko-Metru with Nuju's help, though it's tough for him to do it because he has to point to stuff and remeber chute and passage ways

While they're doing that, Takanuva has finished explaining how he traveled dimensions and has heard that Tuyet is around somewhere, so they need to jeep an eye out for her. Jaller has nothing to really say because what his friend's been up to is bigger than just wandering, especially when he realizes that Takanuva has seen things that rival being trapped in the Great Spirit robot

No time to really get into it because the team has to run and scramble to avoid getting swallowed by the ground and taken somewhere else, going as far as to try parkouring their way across the ceiling, thoguh they have some hiccups because of the state Vakama, Whenua, and Matau are in

Despite some close calls and then being cornered by exo-Toa, they are able to tell when the Great Spirit Robot dies, evidenced to Hahli's team when Onewa lays flat on the ground and by seeing the exo-Toa drop to the ground, both teams facing no threats as they leave

The teams, shaken and stirred, leave the robot and find their way out, and find other Toa and Matoran leaving the Great Spirit robot as well. The reunion between them is an emotional one, the Toa Mahri and Metru being emotional as they realize they escaped with their loves and they're out

Again, this is muscle pulling reach, but this has been on my head and I need to get it out. Expect one more post about this "story line," and then we're back to other stuff

Okay so tossed into their world Rise Edition:

Leo and Donnie, as I said, FREAKING OUT AND LOVING IT! They actually don't turn many heads because they are Very Visibly Not Human but if they have April with them it for sure draws some attention. Not only is there a human but also four strange new monsters who help the human out all the time? Fascinating.

They'd have a tough time getting a True Pacifist Route done, let's be honest with ourselves here. It's the toughest challenge they've faced yet. They're all barely restraining each other, including April. Some aspects depend on who all go in besides April and The Turtles. Is Splinter there? The Caseys? Draxum? All of these would impact the progression of events in different ways (I'm sorry but if Cassandra is there they're getting a Neutral Run at best).

Leo challenges Sans to a pun-off at one point and Papyrus stands by the others as they all watch in unsurprised disappointment. The first time Papyrus offers them Spaghetti Mikey jumps to help with cooking lessons.

I'd say it an easier time for them than it was for Frisk but. Again. Real struggle to stick to a Pacifist Route.

Tossed into their world 2012 Edition:

A little easier, a little easier, Mikey is pretty good at reminding everyone to chill out. We'd have to set it around the late season 3 to season 4 era I think, for Undertale to have come out and they played it. Of course it was Mikey who did, I think he got his brothers to play some but he only showed them certain parts he thought they'd like most. So they're all kinda having a rough time and more trouble keeping emotions in check around this time, probably, except for Raph who's actually gotten better at that.

But yeah Mikey is leading here, April is second-in-command and tbh her main focus is keeping Donnie and Casey in check because BOY. Casey, we know why he's a problem, but DONNIE. Let's just say he's not taking too well to people constantly using the word "monster" to refer to him and he is high-strung right now. Every time another character questions "what a bunch of monsters like you are doing with two humans" he almost snaps.

Again, difficulty in getting a Pacifist Route. They don't even know if infighting will count towards Neutral Route, so they have to restrain from a lot of irritated shoulder punches and head slaps just in case and it's driving all of them nuts!

Leo wants to protect Papyrus so bad he reminds him of himself before All The Bullshit and Sans really appreciates Leo's looking out for his little brother. They bond over Big Brother Feelings and Being Blue.

Sorry to bug you again but how about Noel and Betty headcanon

I got two requests for this, so while I'm still working on two of the last one shot requests I thought I'd finish these up and get them posted! Enjoy!

First of all, how they got together.

Obviously, we all know Betty isn't great with emotions, on the other hand it seems Noel is overly emotional. Most people would probably say Noel was the one to initiate something, but I actually think it was probably Betty.

Think about it, she's doing her work, trying to focus, in the zone but Noel will NOT STOP STARING AT HER. She's like "why is he staring at me? Is he okay?"

Bernard (I have decided that Bernard was their matchmaker and you all can't convince me otherwise) is like "why don't you go over there and find out?"

And she walks up to him and is like "why are you stalking me?"

He's all awkward and embarrassed because he really thought that he was being discreet, even though he was just straight up staring

He has to awkwardly admit that he's had a crush on her for a while but he doesn't see anything actually happening between them because she's always busy with her duties training to be the next Head Elf

She's surprised that he's noticed her in that way so she really has no idea to even respond to that. She probably slaps/punches his arm because she's now confused by emotions and then asks him on a cocoa break to apologize for it.

After they're together, they are THE North Pole it couple

Nobody's sure why, but they just WORK.

Noel is the only one who can convince Betty to calm down when she gets too worked up.

Betty is very strict about keeping her romantic life out of the workplace though, so at work they are only ever professional with each other.

And when she has issues with him, the first person she always turns to is Bernard because he's the only person she trusts with her personal life

By the time, Scott Calvin comes along they've already been married for a while. Her training time with Bernard decreases because he has to bend over backwards making sure the first human Santa doesn't (pardon my french) fuck shit up.

This means that Betty and Noel get to spend a lot more time together

Noel is a very clingy boyfriend, he gives that vibe but he's respectful when Betty needs space as well

The two of them do all the cute elf couple things, drink hot cocoa, decorate trees, snowball fights

When Bernard leaves and doesn't return and Betty has to take over as Head Elf, Noel is her biggest supporter. He believes in her more than anyone else and sometimes, all the time, when she doesn't believe in herself she reminds herself that Noel does

Noel makes Betty things all the time. Toys, cookies, knitted hats/scarves, you name it he's probably made it for his love.

Obviously, they adore nicknames for each other

Noel is the only elf Betty lets herself go around

Hand holding, because Noel wants to be close but Betty doesn't like being all wrapped around each other constantly

You can't tell me these two don't wear each other's random items of clothing sometimes

They sing Christmas songs together in the safety of their own home and you can't convince me otherwise, Betty is always not into it until Noel starts getting really into it and they're dancing and singing around their little home

They have secret codes for dealing with Scott, convince me otherwise

Reader Who Is A Sword User

strongest duo x gen!reader

a/n: huge manga spoilers!! also just a bunch of random hcs with them<33

geto finds your style very intriguing, the way you wield your sword and how you slash the curses before gojo could

(that was because he was slow- okay let's go from the very beggining-)

the two were assigned to take on these two second grade curses who were slithering around town so they went right on immediately, just because gojo's favourite sweet shop was close by

they could end the day easily by defeating the two curses,

but the problem is

both of the curses were fast on their feet and manage to dodge them, they were like irritating rodents who teamed up with each other and they didn't let the two have a chance at killing them

gojo was beggining to lose it, even geto showed signs of frustration with the crease of his forehead

then you popped up.

"this is so goddamn annoyinggg" gojo staggered when he stopped running after the curses, just to complain and geto huffed. yes they were annoying but that's a reason why they have to end them quickly.

"step back." a sudden figure sprinted sideways to the curse and manage to cut the side of its head off but another annoying trait about them is healing quickly.

this also was an advantage to the duo since there was a path you opened in which geto could distract the curses with his own as they corner the two while gojo did the finishing blow and puffed out his chest and cheered when they finally vanish.

an action didn't go unnoticed by the two when you pressed your temple with your thumb, thinking to yourself you could've finish this easily if you striked at the right spot but you shook your head to your regrets and went to the two.

"are you okay?" geto's hands were held in yours as he choked a little as a suprised reaction settle on his face when you suddenly held him. "ah i'm okay.." he rubbed his neck and you smiled warmly in which dissappeared quickly when gojo suddenly held onto you.

"that was really cool!! we should celebrate-" suddenly having an arm wrapped around you, he marched alongside with you and rambled about sweetshops and your sword skills while geto shook his head to his partner's overfriendliness.

after getting to know the two, you wanted to know them a lot more now because who wouldn't

nah, it's because they were on the same levels of power and you wanted to know how they got so strong and you constantly spar with them

they also wanted to know you too! your sword skills were a contast to your personality, they enjoyed your company!

they helped you improve a lot with your strength and noticing the change made you smile to yourself,

not only you made a few friends (including shoko and utahime who they later introduced and where you occasionally bake with them) but you've improved yourself from way before

the two would notice if your mood improves from day to day that it makes them all fuzzier inside just like you who would hug your pillow every night and roll around to your self achievements

and they would fistbump each other because of how good they are at teaching

well they're not technically wrong because

they helped you improve hand to hand combat, from days you stumble into them when you couldn't punch them to days where you accidently would slam your fist in their chins, you were a quick learner

"i can't use my sword?" the duo thought the same thing when you slowly slid your sword away , "damn they wanna kill us".

geto would check how you hold your fists and how you strike them and fixing them when you start going back to stage 1 when you forgot how to do it.

kinda grateful that gojo haven't improved his infinity yet so he was your punching bag which you could actually touch and he easily catch your fists but you manage to sneak in a kick or two. you roll your eyes because gojo couldn't take most of the sparring seriously and geto was your main teacher but gojo was slick, he did sneak in some teaching in for you to learn.

and as a punching bag he promised to be, there were some times where you actually did made him faint because you kept hitting his neck so many times, you and geto burst up laughing when he suddenly stop talking when he dodges you because you always had the chance to hit him in the neck because of his ego not covering his throat.

other than sparring and missions which were times where they actually see you, you were pretty much gone for the rest of the day after shoko reported that you did infact had breakfast then dissappeared off to nowhere

easily detecting you to be in the gym? they slowly opened the door to it and gawked and they look towards each other than back to you

you were lifting dumb bells and goddamn you looked so damn attractive doing so

they felt woozy looking at you and how tough you looked not being covered with your uniform

sweating in your tank top, you looked back at them and gasped in pure shock that you dropped your dumb bells which thankfully didn't hit you or your sword

the duo couldn't help but admire you for how strong you are and well it was akward since they just found out you work out and they were just standing there being all shy and squeling silently like highschoolers

but that doesn't mean they won't do anything with this newfound info because they jump right away to exercising!

you muttered a few curses and nonchalantly told them not to push themselves because you might never know with these idiots

"you won't be defeated!" "and i don't want you to die"

it was.. entertaining

gojo had you on your back while you were seated on him and you were likely impressed when he didn't complained to the dumb bell you carried when his chest lifts from off the ground

(even geto was a little shocked at this)

geto dear, he was smooth when he wanted to touch your biceps (when he's supposed to be busy at exercising)

he places it on your shoulder when he complimented you then it starts trailing down to your bicep when he starts throwing questions and squeezes them (yes while you were still on gojo's back)

and the way these boys had to find out about millions ways of stretching to not stay sore and well they were tbh but it felt a lot more better when they went back to their rooms and were able to sleep like babies

geto's question was answered to why you brought your sword in the gym and is because of practising slashes

though it was dangerous but you got it under control and you swing your sword in grace as they watched from their position (cause they were currently exercising, look im not a gym instuctor and im too lazy to search up im sorry i'll do better next time)

the day goes by fast with the chattering and insults and it was such a treat to end it with tea

shoko pulled out cinnamon rolls that were dripping with sweetness and it was love at first sight for gojo

geto expressed his gratitude for it and shoko pointed to you that you were the one that made it

"you really are perfect-" he sobbed dramatically on your shoulder while countinuing to nibble on his roll

talk about dramatic, thank god you see his hand that you slapped reaching for the last one when its well reserved for utahime

a sweet tooth who was cocky and messy with a more tamer gentleman who still caused chaos for everyone will never bore you to death with whatever hell they're planning

and you were glad to have them lead the way for you

I do not wanna constantly bombard you with asks...but dear god my brain is just ON IT right now idk. Izuru and Hajime be twins again, and...Kuzuhina what can i say they're cute and stupid (Maybe KuzuPekoHina? If ur comfortable with it? If not then just Kuzuhina is also fantastic).

Hajime, Natsumi, and Sato form a somewhat uneasy friendship (uneasy because Natsumi and Sato) because they're consistently harassed by the Reserve Course for hanging out with "those snobby, elitist Ultimate jerkoffs."

The divide and tension between the two is horrendous, there's contempt and hatred on both sides, so those three get a TON of crap from the other Main classes (not 78 they're precious babes) and the Reserve course for hanging out with class 77. It's mainly just mental and emotional warfare, which isn't fun but they can deal...kind of.

But when Hajime starts dating his brother's classmate(s), the harassment gets physical as well. Which is infinitely harder to hide. Eventually class 77 finds out when they're all hanging out, Hajime flinches when Soda smacks his back a little too hard,and that's when Hajime, Sato, and Natsumi are forced to spill the beans. And then all hell breaks loose. Class 77 are gonna go to war. :)

natsumi, hajime and sato are definitely a Survival Friendship (tm), you know the kind. all the bullied kids are friends, because nobody else will be friends with them. except hajime likes both of them and wishes they could get along better, because sato is sweet and natsumi’s fucking hilarious and if they just calmed tf down it’d be a perfect trio. actually, when things are a little chilled out and they’re hanging out with 77b, they work really well! it’s just when they’re on their own with hajime that it gets hairy. despite the dicey sato/natsumi friendship though, they’re an absolute solid wall at school because they HAVE to be. they might kinda hate each other’s guts for various reasons, but they will defend the other to the death for hanging out with the main course. natsumi can, and has punched a dude in the face for making fun of sato for hanging out with mahiru. similarly, sato has 100% punched a dude in the face for making fun of hajime and natsumi for hanging out with THEIR BROTHERS. hajime will bitch anybody out for making fun of either sato or natsumi. this is a friendship based around survival, and they are ALL capable of putting their differences aside for five fucking minutes every so often, because they know they’re stronger as a unit rather than individually.

it starts getting worse when some rat in the reserve course sees hajime holding hands with fuyuhiko, who’s holding hands with peko. whoever it is that sees them corners him and calls him a “main course whore” or something like that, because he couldn’t settle for just one, right? and like... natsumi knows. sato knows too. they ALL suffer because of it. but none of them tell 77b at first, because like... then they’d worry and they’re ultimates and have bigger shit to deal with than some petty reserve course drama, right? point is, they all get very good at covering for each other when one of them has a weird bruise, but the one thing they don’t account for is soda thanking hajime for something, and giving him that bro slap on the back, and hajime immediately freaks out and just punches him right in the face.

like dude, he’s never done that before. he’s always been a little bit touchy about shit like that, but he’s never actually decked anybody before (that 77b know about, anyway). and everybody’s crowding him like “what the fuck was that”, and sato’s the first to speak up because mahiru’s giving her this look like “you don’t look surprised, what the fuck is going on?”

so sato starts, and then natsumi starts talking, and finally hajime explains what’s been going on. fuyuhiko is immediately pissed. peko, who’s usually the calm and collected one already has the sword ready to go. the whole class is absolutely pissed about this, and like they’ve had their share of incidents for hanging out with the reserve course, but they have yukizome backing them up and class 78 at all times and nothing has ever gotten that bad. the class have to be talked down from coming for fucking blood, because that’ll just make everything worse, and none of them want to transfer out of hope’s peak because then they won’t get to hang out as much anymore. in their minds, it’s worth it.

so, they hatch a less violent plan. first, they go to administration, who basically do nothing because the reserve course is only there for cash, they don’t actually give a fuck about the kids. when that doesn’t work, mahiru starts following them around from a distance with her camera - she records whenever somebody tries something with either natsumi, sato or hajime. in the week she does this, she has enough evidence to basically shut hope’s peak down.

they end up asking class 78 for help, and with kyoko’s help in getting their foot in the door to the headmaster’s office, they’ve got two full main course classes threatening to leave and leak this shit to the press if something isn’t done. (yes i have decided that class 78 are wholesome and would stand with them on this. even byakuya. with some nudging from makoto. but byakuya already knows he doesn’t need hope’s peak to be successful. and like, i’m taking liberties with juno and mukuro but this is an AU where neither are ultimate despair they’re just the ultimate fashionista and ultimate soldier and are absolutely delightful). 

at first the board are like “if we remove every problematic reserve course student, then we won’t have a reserve course” and everybody’s like “well that’s fucking fine, don’t have a reserve course. these three will simply have to be your reserve course, because otherwise you’re missing two classes and wouldn’t that look really fucking bad for ya?”

i haven’t decided whether they succeed in bullying the board into actually protecting their friends, or whether this becomes a huge scandal and hope’s peak shuts down. choose your own adventure!

option 1: the board absolutely shits themselves at two whole classes threatening to leave, and expels every student that they’ve got evidence against. any that don’t have evidence against them are on thin fucking ice, and they learn to leave natsumi, sato and hajime alone and let them just live their fucking lives and have fun with their friends.

option 2: the board thinks they’re bluffing, and says “fine, do it”. so, both classes end up leaving along with hajime, natsumi and sato. byakuya uses his connections to leak the info to as many influential people as possible, and the reserve course students start fuckin dropping like flies with parents pulling them out after seeing the shit that goes unchecked there. they only have one main course class, and potential recruits start refusing to go to hope’s peak because like... if that’s how people are treated there, they don’t wanna be a part of it, no matter how prestigious. the hope’s peak name gets dragged through the fucking mud, and classes 77, 78, and our reserve course trio end up transferring to a separate less well-known school and just living their lives like dumb teenagers, doing normal school (which the main course students are kinda terrible at for the most part, hajime natsumi and sato have to basically be their tutors lmao) and having a fucking good time after all that’s over.

If I may add to fates/three houses stuff. I think fates stuffers from character bloat and lacks letting us see some cool locations. Weak main/true villans. However, I do think fe3h suffers from similar/same issues. I think they have stand out characters that really work when focuses on. Varying success of the handling of the avatar character, trying to write them differently. I think it makes sense they have similar issues they both sold like crazy. They're messy but fun messes that I love.

Character bloat and bad villains I agree on. Corrin, Azura and the royal siblings alone make for 10 characters that have the spotlight at any given time. That’s more than most FE games have already, but Felicia, Jakob, Kaze, and Gunter also have their moments as well. That’s a lot of characters to manage for games that are only just a few chapters longer than Awakening.

As for the villains, while I have complimented them before, they were mostly compliments in comparison to other villains; mainly the Slithers, who tried to be the Loptr Sect but with none of the intrigue, threat (gameplay or otherwise) or major success that the latter had. 

But that’s mainly in the case of looking at strictly the villains, which is more or less something I don’t focus on. The point of Birthright and Conquest’s plots aren’t so much that the villains are evil, but the tragedy of having to fight/kill actually good people in the process of eliminating the evil. So I don’t hold the weak writing of Garon, Iago and Hans against the game’s plot too much in that case. It’s the same with 3H, where for as much as I hate the Slithers, it doesn’t really take away from how (mostly) great a villain that Edelgard and the Empire are.

Locations I actually disagree on, as we do get to see pretty much every major location in the game that matters except for the Flame Tribe (but even then we see the tribe in a cutscene). So that part I don’t actually think is that weak.

I will agree with you on that last part though. In all honesty, part of my thoughts regarding my recent mixed feelings about “Are my posts actually worth it?” have been about whether or not it’s just me and the rest of the community taking the series and its plot too seriously for what it’s worth.

Because, let me be brutally honest here. I think saying “Every FE story is bad” is a really fucking weak excuse to get out of bothering to go deeper into each plot’s writing and where each story succeeds and fails. But do I think it’s worth it to get all uppity about “The quality of each FE story matters a lot because this is a distinguished and respectable series full of intrigue and subterfuge and complicated drama”? No. Because it’s not.

This is the same series where a guy got such a big headache from talking to a mage that he said he was gonna go “punch a rock until he feels better”. Where a girl who gets so hungry, so often that she started to eat someone’s boots. Where a girl outright punched her commander in the face because she thought that was a slap. Where a girl repeatedly lands her pegasus on people because that’s her main punchline. Where a guy recruits himself onto your team because he’s so obsessed with beauty and nothing else. Where there was a running gag of a guy using a famous swordmaster’s identity to get popular. Where the playable dragon characters are mostly young girls who live forever. Where there’s meta jokes about the characters and gameplay constantly.

I don’t know who convinced people to think Fire Emblem is this series that’s always serious and gritty and dark all of the time, because a) not only would that be fucking boring for a franchise like this, but b) it really just makes people out to be hypocritical when saying the franchise is “doomed” whenever it does the same things it always had.

The Maze Trials: A Gally Fanfiction

Pairing: Gally x Emi(OC)

Background: Emi, first girl the Glade has seen. Tougher than she looks and more than ready to prove it. Since day one her and Gally have been at each other's throats. Fighting constantly and not just with their words.

(Gally fanfiction which will include smut. It also has an actual story line. Think of it as an AU to the original Maze Runner. It'll mostly follow the main story line with some changes. Mostly focusing on Emi and Gally and their relationship.)

Chapter Six

This morning I'm with Newt trying out the job of a farmer. We are in the middle of the gardens. He's showing me the difference between all the plants.

"Can I ask you something?" He asked suddenly standing up and facing me.

"Sure" I said.

"What happened between you and Minho? I saw the two of you walking into the woods together then this morning at breakfast he was uncharacteristically quiet." Newt stared at me awaiting my answer.

"Well, he kissed me and the kiss progressed and got pretty heated but I stopped it. I told him I wouldn't let him go any farther than that kiss. Then I walked back to the homestead." I explained kicking at the dirt.

"I knew he had a thing for you. Pretty much everyone knew. The guy can't be subtle at all." Newt chuckled.

"You think he's mad?" I asked him.

"Nah, he will be over it before you know it and he will be right back to hitting on you again. Minho is not one to give up." Newt smiled.

"Do you like him?" Newt asked me taking a step closer.

I shrugged.

"I don't really know. I only remembered my name yesterday. I've only been here a few days. I'm still trying to fill everything out. I don't think I'm ready to like anyone yet."

"Well warn me before you get there cause I have a feeling most of the guys are going to attempt to get with you." Newt laughed as he bent back down.

"What about you?" I asked curiously.

He seemed to freeze for a moment. Then he started picking at the weeds in the dirt.

"I think you're wonderful Emi but not really my type." He said slowly and quietly.

I bent down to help him with the weeds.

"What is that suppose to mean?" I questioned quietly.

Newt chuckled. He popped his head up to look around him before turning back to me.

"It means you're not a guy so you're not my type." He gave me a small shy smile.

I couldn't help the large grin that spread across my face.

"No way!" I shouted earning me a slap on the arm from the blonde.

"Sorry" I whispered.

I laughed but made sure Newt knew his secret was safe with me. I think I just found my best friend. It'll be nice to have someone to talk to about these ridiculous boys.

"Anyone you have an eye on?" I asked quietly as we walked towards one of the tree stumps.

"I use to have a crush on Minho for awhile but that went away awhile back. Now I'm not really into anyone. Maybe one of these days a boy will come out of that box and change that." He smiled hopefully.

"I swear I will get you hooked up with someone one of these days." I grinned at him.

He laughed then started wacking away at the stump. The day went by quickly thanks to Newt and I chatting each other up. I couldn't remember the last time I laughed this much. Before we knew it the bell for lunch sounded.

"I figure after lunch I'm gonna throw you with the builders if that's alright. Speed up the process a little bit." Newt said as we walked towards the hut.

"Yes!" I exclaimed happily.

Newt laughed shaking his head. I think he already knew I was interested in being a builder. I just feel like I'll like that the best. Like I'll be the best at that. Plus I want to out do Gally in any way I can. Not sure why I have a need to do that but I do.

I got my food and found my seat. Newt took a minute to let Gally know the plan. I watched the blonde boy inform the angry one. He nodded once then glanced over to me. When he saw I was already looking at him he quickly looked away.

"I told Gally you were very eager to try being a builder." Newt laughed as he sat next to me.

"Why would you want to be a builder?" Clint asked scrunching up his nose.

"They're all idiots." Jeff whispered.

I just laughed and shook my head. They wouldn't understand if I told them why. I don't fully understand why. I just have this feeling and I think I should follow my gut. After lunch Gally came over and got me so I could follow him to work.

I was practically skipping as I walked with Gally. I was so excited to get my hands dirty. Of course Gally didn't trust me with a big job so he told the other builders what to do then made me go with him to gather more wood and other materials.

Gally took us to the edge of the woods to work on cutting out some wood to use. He handed me an axe then started chopping. I followed his lead chopping on the opposite side of him.

"Don't cut any of your fingers off. I'm not dealing with it." He grumbled as he continued to swing his axe.

"I won't cut off any of my fingers." I snapped at him.

He slammed his axe into the tree and left it there. He stepped closer to me his chest out like he was ready for a fight.

"Do you have a problem princess?" He asked harshly as he glared at me.

I swung my axe hard sticking it in the tree just as he did. Then I stepped away from the tree and towards Gally. I stood toe to toe with him. I wanted to make sure he knew he didn't scare me. Not even a little.

"Yea, I have a problem with the way you talk to me. You think because I'm a girl I can't do the same things you can? You think I won't make my corners as tight as you, I'll cut my fingers off, or I can't beat your ass. Don't you get tired of being proved wrong over and over?" I spat at him stepping even closer.

He growled grabbing my arms and shoving me against the tree our axes were in. His face was so close to mine I could feel his hot breath on my skin. I hadn't noticed the boys in the Glade that could see and hear us stop what they were doing. I was too distracted by the one holding me against a tree.

"You are either very brave or very stupid." He growled in my face.

"How about a little of both. I'd say I tip more to the brave side while you overload into the stupid." I said harshly as I stared him down.

His hold on my arms tightened. His face was getting redder by the minute. I was enjoying this way too much. I think pissing him off would be my new past time.

"I'm very close to beating the klunk out of you." He growled inching his face even closer to mine.

"I mean you can try but I can almost guarantee It'll go about the same as the bonfire." I smiled wickedly at him.

With a very loud growl he let go of my arms. I knew what was coming next. His big fist pulled back and went straight for my face. I let out a howl of a laugh when Gally punched the tree I was just against. He hissed turning around when he heard my laugh. I had moved out of the way at the last second. I could hear the shouts of the other gladers coming our way.

"You better get your swings in now big boy looks like the cavalry is coming to save you." I smiled wide as I did a little side to side dance.

"To save me?" He growled out in disbelief.

I nodded still doing my little dance.

"Gally! What the hell are you doing?" I heard Alby's booming voice.

I did the stupidest thing and glanced towards the leader's voice. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground with a steaming Gally on top of me. He went for my face but it was easy enough for me to block him. I had to struggle a little to fix myself enough to roll us. 

Once I got myself in just the right angle while blocking Gally's random throws I pushed him off me. His hands held tightly on my shirt pulling me with him. We hit a slight slope perfectly causing us to roll a few times. I made sure that when we stopped I was on top. Gally groaned when his head roughly hit the ground.

"What the shuck are you two doing?" Newt asked in bewilderment.

I grabbed Gally's shirt and pulled lifting his shoulders and head a few inches of the ground.

"Gally here keeps looking for a fight. I think it's time I gave him a proper one." I stated while glaring at the boy below me.

"Enough you two!" Alby shouted.

My head snapped over to him. Those words threw my mind back into the dream I had. I glanced back at Gally who was laying very still. His hands tightly holding my wrists. I let him go and quickly stood.

What the hell is going on? My mind kept bouncing between reality and my dream. The similarities were seriously giving me a headache.

"Take both of them to the pit. Make sure they are next to each other. And no one is aloud to visit them. Make them talk to each other or not at all." Alby ordered angrily.

"The pit?" I questioned looking at Newt who was grabbing my arm.

Two boys went for Gally but he just growled, shoved them off, then stomped around Newt and I to where ever the pits are. Gally knew not to argue with Alby. I could tell just from the look on Alby's face he wasn't the person to cross.

Newt pulled me over to some horrible looking makeshift cells. They were built into the ground. He opened one of them up and gestured for me to get in.

"You've got to be kinding?" I asked staring at the hole in the ground.

"You two broke a big rule. I don't know what your issues are with each other but Alby wants them worked out. So, yes, get inside." Newt said sternly.

I huffed but did as he said jumping inside the small dirt hole. Newt quickly locked me in somehow then opened the one right next to me for Gally.

"Have fun you two." Newt said as he walked away.
