Favourite Moment: The utter depravity of Five scrawling on the walls, a really nice visual of his upset little mind.

Favourite Line: “Is that her?” -Luther, on seeing an ice cream truck, about Five’s old assassin boss.

Most likely to skip moment: Victor’s violin audition: it’s a good scene but I’m impatient for action and don’t like the tune.

Most likely to rewind moment: Probably the ice cream truck, I mean, it’s legendary.

Let’s all take a moment to admire the awfulness of Leonard Peabody. Good Christ he’s heinous.

And yet the scene where he and Victor celebrate first chair is so genuinely touching - mostly to see Victor so alive and happy, I really want more of this in S4 he was so downtrodden so much in S3.

Let’s also take a moment to admire The Handler. She is awful but my god is she captivating to watch. Top tier villain.

Really enjoyed the Diego Klaus bonding this episode, they’re such a great pair!

Waiting for Terry and Josh to get together after one of them has some type of emergency that the 118 responds to. Maybe Terry had a bad day and Josh offers to take him out to eat after their shift, and Terry has an allergic reaction to something.

The 118 arrives, Terry isn’t breathing, but Josh is administrating CPR. When they take over, Josh is freaking out and keeps saying, “You can’t die on me, Terry. Not before I’ve told you that I’m in love with you!”

After Terry comes to, Josh falls to his knees beside him and sobs, “I love you. I’m sorry it took an emergency for me to figure it out, but I do.”

And Terry rasps out, “I love you, too,” in response.

While Josh climbs into the ambulance with Terry, Buck just stares at them with a wrinkle between his brows.

On the ride back to the station, Buck finally says, “I don’t get it. They’ve been working with each other for years now, they’ve been close friends forever, and they just now figured out they’re in love with each other? I mean, how oblivious do you have to be to miss what’s right in front of you?”

“I can get it if they had only known each other for like a year. But they’ve been working together for what? Six or seven years?” Eddie says shaking his head. “No offense, but you’ve gotta be real dense to not realize.”

Hen, Chimney, Ravi, and Bobby all just stare at them not saying anything until Chimney says, “Idiots.”

Eddie and Buck agree, but Hen tells them, “He wasn’t talking about Josh and Terry.”

It still takes Buck and Eddie several weeks to actually figure out they’re the idiots.

And when Buck starts gushing about the guy he’s interested in and the 118 fam all assume it’s Eddie then what 😭😭

Like imagine Buck just mentioning how he’s teaching him Muay Thai, how he’s gotten more interested in boxing and basketball because of him, how he’s a car guy, letting it slip how cool he thinks his time as a pilot was

And everyone, most likely Maddie, Hen, or Chimney, are like “oh so you finally realized you’re into Eddie?”

Only for Buck to be like “Eddie?? No I’m talking about Tommy, what made you guys think it was Eddie????”

Alternatively, Buck gushing to them and then 118 fam all realizing that he’s basically dating Eddie in a different font and that Buck is a dumbass (affectionate) 😭😭😭

fine i’ll say it…i think bucktommy is fine but him solely calling buck “evan” is a little blech to me…and that’s mostly just from a storytelling perspective because before this “evan” meant something… it was either used by his parents to show they don’t understand him or by maddie to show that she’s seeing him as her kid brother in that moment or by eddie just to show that he sees him and the conversation is important…and even then it was used very sparingly so the name didn’t lose its meaning but now we hear it so often it just seems like it doesn’t have as much meaning as it used to

Ok I may be over analyzing this (I most definitely am) but I think the whole “It’s locked, you got a key?” “We don’t need a key. We’re firefighters.” and then Eddie kicking in the door has to be a metaphor for something bigger right? Like Buck and Tommy’s whole relationship is what got Buck to “unlock” this new side of himself (his bisexuality) and Tommy took a step back to wait for Buck to “be ready” with himself. Overall, their whole relationship started out a bit hesitant and gentle (not really sure how else to put it).

But I think Eddie is just gonna get smacked in the face with his feelings somehow, or somethings going to happen to Eddie and Buck is gonna get smacked in the face with his feelings. Either way, I think that while Buck and Tommy’s relationship arc is more sort of a nonchalant going slow type of thing, something dramatic is gonna kick in that door that leads to Buddie and I think it’s gonna be something that happens to Eddie. Maybe I’m crazy though I guess I just have to wait until it happens.

YALL I AM SICK OF THIS FANDOMM 😭😭

anyways 🥰 I think that all journalists who are given screeners or interviews with the actors should have like,,,massive bg checks 😭 like not in a ‘oh are you a horrible person way’ (although that totally should happen lol) but mainly in a ‘are you actively in this fandom’ kinda way

I am all for journalists being involved in the fandom, I think it’s better when they’re a big fan of the show! However I personally (personally!!) think that if a journalist is known to be biased, especially towards a specific ship, then they shouldn’t be allowed to interview the actors. Most of the journalists who are biased towards specific actors, characters or ships are known to cause discourse, and often focus too much on their favs rather than actually talking about the episode as a whole. They often focus on something that has nothing to do with the episode or article in a way to get clicks or start arguments. (And yes I am aware that the entire job of a journalist is to get clicksm but surely there’s a more creative way to do so 😭❓) I love the enthusiasm of most journalists, however some (usually those who tend to be biased towards whoever) just cause drama, and will encourage disgusting behaviour from their supporters.

Also, I think people who allow these journalists to have platforms, and who give them screeners etc should actually pay attention to what they post online, because some of the stuff they say is insane and some people genuinely just don’t deserve a platform at all
