Leo tries to act cool when you fall asleep on his shoulder, but inside?

Total panic.

He smirks to himself, thinking, "Of course they trust me, I am the best."

But his smugness doesn’t last long because you shift slightly, and his heart does a flip

He freezes, suddenly hyper-aware of every movement

If anyone walks in, he’s quick to gesture for them to shut up

Sneaks glances at you like a lovesick idiot and gets caught once or twice by Donnie or Mikey, who don’t let him live it down

When you wake up, he’s back to his usual teasing self: “Comfortable, huh? Can’t say I blame you; I am pretty irresistible.”

Raph tenses up immediately when your head lands on his shoulder

His first instinct is to make sure you’re okay: "Did they fall asleep? Are they sick? What’s happening?"

Once he realizes you’re just resting, he lets out a soft breath and relaxes a little

He doesn’t want to move an inch in case he disturbs you

Looks down at you every so often with the softest expression

If Mikey or Leo walk by, they give him teasing grins, but he just glares silently, daring them to say something

Secretly, he’d let it happen again in a heartbeat.

Donnie is startled when your head lands on his shoulder, but he quickly recovers, though his cheeks are bright red

“Ah, well, this is... unexpected,” he mutters under his breath, trying not to freak out

He’s not used to physical closeness, so it takes him a moment to adjust

Once he does, he sits as still as a statue

Absolutely takes a mental note of the exact angle and time of this event, because he’s secretly very touched that you feel safe enough to fall asleep on him

When you wake up, he’ll act all nonchalant

But his voice might give away how flustered he actually is: “Oh, you’re awake. Did you, uh, sleep well?”

Mikey is ecstatic when you fall asleep on his shoulder

He immediately starts grinning like a dork

He doesn’t sit still, though

He’s constantly shifting slightly to make sure you’re comfortable, whispering things like, “You good, sleepyhead?”

Takes a selfie with you

(with your sleeping face hidden, of course)

and sends it to his brothers with a caption like: "I’m the fave! 💖"

Low-key proud that you feel safe with him and will brag about it later

When you wake up, he’s all sunshine and sweetness: “Aw, you woke up? You looked so peaceful!”

Might even ask if you want to nap on him again because he loved the experience so much.

A/N: It’s a long time ago since I’ve done the Dark Turtles, so why not go with them. I don’t think the Dark Turtles would get particularly nervous, but I do think they would have their own little quirks. Anyway, here you go, hope you’ll enjoy🖤💚

Dark Leonardo:

Dark Leo is an absolute sucker for the tender moments that happened after sex. He would never admit it, but his actions betrayed him. With sweat just beginning to evaporate from the two of you and your legs still entangled, he loved it when you laid there in each other’s arms, still relishing in the afterglow of the orgasms you had had just moments ago.

You didn’t necessarily have to talk during these moments. Sometimes you and Leo found that comfortable silence spoke louder than words. And after what he had just put you through, it wasn’t strange for you to get drusy in his arms, before falling asleep with a satisfied smile. It made him feel strong, like a protector. And there was just something about the fact that he had gotten you so worn out, that made Leo feel proud. He did that to you. He made you feel so good, that you almost couldn’t stay awake anymore.

During these moments Leo would watch over you, his eyes filled with love as you fell asleep against him. Dark Donatello:

After the hot and heavy sex, that you and Donnie had been engaged in for what felt like several wonderful hours, Donnie loved to talk to you. Sometimes you would talk about the sex you had just had. You would talk about what you liked and what you didn’t like (not that there really was anything that either of you didn’t like), which you could bring with you to the next time you got physical with each other.

It wasn't because Donnie was scared you didn’t like what he was doing, but because he liked for both of you to feel heard and seen. Maybe he did this one thing he thought that you were really into, only to learn that you weren’t actually that much into that, and would actually like Donnie to stop doing it. Same thing for him. But so far there hadn’t been anything like it, but Donnie liked to keep the space open, making sure you both felt safe enough to speak your mind. In other words - Donnie found good communication with you very sexy.

Maybe that is the reason why, his tail seemed to get a mind of its own when you were talking, growing restless before slowly making its way for you. When talking about pillow talk, many people might think of something calm and intimate. Soft spoken with tender touches, and love filled looks that spoke the words “I adore you”, over and over again, while holding each other close, like you were fragile and easily bruised. Well, if that’s how you think of pillow talk, then you obviously haven’t met Dark Mikey.

Pillow talk with Mikey wasn’t this intimate and calm affair some might expect. It is filled with one bad joke after another, that somehow still managed to crack you up. He was bouncy, rarely sitting still with you in the bed, even if your legs was aching from all the things Mikey had done to you just a few moments before. It was just part of Mikey’s charm, and the thought of him doing anything else felt strange and foreign to you.

Just because Mikey was a kanabo clone of Michelangelo, it didn’t mean that he was free of his counterparts' ADHD tendencies. And one of the places where these tendencies became apparent, was when the two of you rolled around the bed, still feeling the dopamine and adrenaline from the highs you had just been through. It was here that Mikey remembered all the things he had been wanting to tell you throughout the day. He told you about that adorable dog-like creature he had seen on the street, and how he thought about telling you the moment he saw it. Basically sharing everything that had happened to him throughout the day, as a way to show that he often thought of you.

However, Mikey’s nature dictated that he couldn’t just sit and talk to you for hours on end - especially not when you were still naked from your prior actions, looking ever so enticing for Mikey and his constantly wandering mind. Let’s just say, Mikey’s mouth went from talking to performing another welcomed act, this time between your legs.

I remember because in the dream i wanted to make a fanart but Could Not find him. The only remenant of him was the banner that said his name.

Will having nightmares being haunted by Vecna, where he’s forced to be the spy again and help him. The leak we have of Will blaming himself for Mike’s family being attacked and in the hospital…

It drives me insane now knowing that these are the same model of shoes Donnie wears in the movie, and in the new season Will is wearing them once more but inversed.

And then the whole time loop - clocks thing. The rainbow ship drawing // Project Rainbow stuff with Will. Donnie causing the plane’s engine to fall off which either crushes him in his sleep or starts the loop.

Vecna’s insistence that he sees the future and how everyone will fail, specifically showing Nancy how the Wheelers will be taken out. What Will is blaming himself for is the Wheelers being attacked. Will being used as an agent for Vecna to enact his future the same way Frank led Donnie down a particular path of actions in order to insure his future and the stable time loop.

I’ll have more thoughts on this later particularly regarding the time travel stuff. I’m so sure Will has some involvement in starting or perpetuating a time loop that the characters are in that began with the USS Eldridge / Rainbow Ship.

Even more extra thoughts though:

-Both Will and Donnie being artists and drawing the entity that is haunting them!

-Both being referred to as “schizo”

So I’m quite curious if there is a clear reason…because while I know Kendra didn’t hate the embrace (definitely wasn’t expecting it) she still uses the word “handsy”.

Which the only other time I have seen her using that word was to describe her sugar daddy dates.

Headcanon: Rise!Turtles being dads and sweetest husband to the reader (Separate) (Requested prompt)

A/N: I'm still uncomfortable with the idea of aging up the guys towards "mature content."

However, this idea was really cute. It only made sense for this prompt where the guys are aged up with some reference to their bad end!future selves. I went with around early 30's when the turtle of your choice and the reader are in a committed relationship and currently raising a kid at the moment.

So please have common sense and think before typing some snarky response with 'oh aged up content is bad lol' (Because I will put those ideas on the 'do not write list' if people get too weird about it...)

Raph

You know how he has the habit of that one baby voice with Mayhem. (and a bit of the hey buddy tone towards Mikey or Donnie)

- His kid is never gonna escape from it. (even by the time the kid is a grown up)

He definitely panicked for a bit when his kid (during the energetic toddler phase) enjoyed climbing over a big guy like him.

- So he had to ask Donnie to make a battle shell specifically as a soft cushion. So the spiky shell doesn't accidentally scratch the kid.

Part of him is worried anytime he has to scold his kid. And only when you're around is when he feels okay to do so.

- He definitely does the "Did you ask (Y/N) if you could have another cookie?" sort of question. (Sometimes willing to go along with what his kid wants or following (Y/N) if he got caught spoiling the kid)

You're getting at least one peck on the cheek by the end of the day.

- Or earlier in the day if he accidentally woke you up.

Compared to his younger self who slightly whined about chores, he grew to enjoy it when both of you worked on it together.

- Laundry being one example where you're usually folding clothing fresh from the dryer. And he stacks a pile back into the clean basket/hamper.

His eyesight in the right eye has gotten a bit worse. (not as bad as his bad end counterpart where he needs an eyepatch) But, you often act as his extra set of eyes and call out to any surprise attacks.

- Which earned the title of you two with a tag team couple and he still blushes thinking about it.

Leo

Every few hours before a night patrol, he always checks in to see what his kid is up to and often gives a hug before leaving.

Often gives bedtime stories through retellings of Lou Jitsu's movies or Jupiter Jim's comics.

- Even acting out of some of the scenes before a yawn decides its time to sleep.

Gave one of his spare bandana scarves to his kid.

- Had the biggest grin on his face when the kid realized "Oh hey! We're matching!!!"

Almost similar to the night patrol part, but if you can't make it because of work or some other boring life detour.

- Its a portal away for a light hang out sesh. For both of you to take a breather away from the grown up life.

Late night conversations are just a regular thing between the two of you.

- Especially when he couldn't sleep. By the time he almost dozes off to sleep in your arms, he still playfully teases you that your voice is soothing to him.

When light conversations about the bad end future was brought up during a casual match of video games, he was never used to the idea that he had a prosthetic arm.

- You instantly hugged his right arm, jokingly reassuring him.

"As long as you can crack a joke in the most serious moment. I'll still know that its you Leo."

"Even in a timeline where, me and the guys were raised by Draxum?"

You gave the red slider turtle a 'really?' pout before he hugged you into his lap.

"Nah I'm just kidding, but for real though. Draxum's former henchmen are still goofballs that know their way around the city. I'm pretty sure that Leo could get a couple of one liners and maybe from you as well."

Donnie

Almost went into a frenzy trying to child-proof the lair. (Especially the month before the kid's arrival changed the atmosphere) But eventually settled down.

- Realizing it would have stressed his kid out by any sudden new changes (and a bit of his family and your help explaining the reasoning as well)

Leo's showboating energy transferred to him but, in a way that, the softshell turtle is very grateful. That he has you as a spouse and both of you raising a kid along side his sentient inventions. And will try to bring it up in any conversation.

- The whole wallet photo gag of him showing family pictures. You love this silly turtle but, usually lightly pinch his face if its the wrong time for that.

He lights up whenever his kid goes to him for any sort of question.

- He slightly restrains himself to avoid going overboard with the answer. But, his kid is smart enough to know that and sometimes tells you that he's not being himself again.

Cannot force himself to sleep unless you're beside him. (or if you have to drag him to bed yourself)

- The few times where he woke up while you were still sleeping. He always gives you a light hug and a kiss on the forehead before getting out of bed.

He subtly took interest in one of your hobbies. (Either an ongoing or a new one) Just so he can step away from a tedious project that was going nowhere and not bother you with the boring details about it.

- Sometimes mentioning a fun fact to impress you.

You gave into his idea of letting your kid have a similar weapon like Casey Jr's.

- Only when they reached their 13th birthday and learning the basics of: constructing it and fixing parts along side their dad. How to use it defensively, offensively, and etc.

Mikey

Considering how his future self had some hair on his head, he kept it long so he can do a few matching embarrassing baby photos to his kid.

- Like giving the kid a tiny ponytail and etc. He definitely cried a bit while having his signature grin when the kid pulled too hard on his hair, laughing at one of his jokes. And you had to step in to help him.

He knows how to work around some of his kid's picky eating habits. Usually making sure his kid is having fun or decorating the plate in an artistic manner.

- However, there are times when the kid can hide the veggie or fruit out of plain sight. Or his kid asks his uncles for help when Mikey's focused on some other thing.

Absolutely does that peek-a-boo trick with hiding his face or whole body into his shell.

- He was nervous at first, if the trick might have scared his kid but, no the kid was giggling. Curiously crawling towards him in awe of it.

Will sometimes make meals ahead of time. (often being, if you returned from work, too exhausted to greet him)

- Either leaving a note on a plastic container in the fridge of: [(Y/N)'s breakfast: DO NOT EAT unless you want an surprise session with Dr Delicate Touch </3] (this also applies to lunch as well)

On very rare occasions, he will temporary wear a cloaking brooch. If you're at an area isn't very friendly towards mutants and/or yokai.

- The one time that happened, is when you forgot to bring your lunch at a job that barely lasted a week. (Stuff that was out of your control but, he was relieved that you got out of that place before your coworkers decided to physically fight back at the manager)

Spends at least one day in the week with you to do some light meditative exercises.

- On the really bad days, he doesn't mind letting you hold his hand as a stress ball or just have a quiet moment to relax while his brothers babysit your kid.

And now Leo!! I saw these overalls with fake paint on them and I wish I saw them when I was drawing Mikey, but oh well. I think Leo rocks it better tho, with it having longer pants legs. Also I stayed up until 6 am and slept into the afternoon and somehow feel more well rested lol. I woke up to some kind words and I appreciate it, thank you. I also do like Raph's outfit a lot and I feel more confident in it. I found out the reason I actually didn't like it was because of the line art, and I realized right after I finished Leo's line art that I had been using the wrong brush ever since I finished Mikey's artwork.. so yeah- Also 2x, just pretend I planned Leo and Donnie to both have triangles as a twin thing- totally thought ahead on this.

I'm limiting this to fics/analysis/headcanon/etc posts I made during the year and skipping over anything that isn't my actual creative work. That said, if you're curious, my actual top post was this funky screenshot from episode 2.

10. Everyone's just fine with Donnie modding the moon buggy? (362 notes)

It occurred to me that despite being MASSIVE nerds for the Jupiter Jim franchise, the bros seemed awfully chill with Donnie taking an actual on-set moon buggy and modding the hell out of it.

A few people argued with me in the notes that the Turtle Tank is so cool no one could possibly be mad about it and I do think that's fair. The Turtle Tank is easily my favorite thing Donnie made in the show.

9. Splinter and Leo talk post movie (443 notes)

This is the most recent tumblr fic I've done (I think lol), so seeing it make it this high felt pretty good. I love Splinter and his boys... they make me emotional.

maxine’s headcannons:

isn't quite used to newer slang so she still talks how people in the 1920s did and nobody really understands her that well...

she hates her cellphone and WILL NOT use it unless it's direly needed.

she definitely has a record collection but it's all jazzy and "old-timey" music and she does not let anyone else near her records or her record player

she would teach ben how to ballroom dance and then force him to have dancing sessions with her because her favorite thing to do when she was human was to dance at parties

slenderman FOR SURE banned smoking in the house but maxine is allowed to break that rule so she waltzes around the house with her huge cigarette holder bullying jeff cause he definitely wants to smoke.

she generally dislikes getting help with wounds and stuff because of all the malpractice that was preformed on her when she was human

the phantom of the opera (1925) is her absolute favorite movie and one day slender comes back from the store with the 2004 version and she literally falls in love with him right at that moment

she's like your grandma that 1. doesn't know how to work her phone (or tv or anything) and 2. says things that she thinks mean one thing and they actually don't... like for example....maxine: im sending lols jack: maxine someone died...why are you laughing out loud... maxine: oh i thought that meant lots of love :( jack: oh my fucking god bro

the effects of her lobotomy pop up from time to time when she's doing stuff so sometimes she loses the ability to focus and kind of "dumbs down" because people who are lobotomized often lose their higher levels of intellectuals and then she loses the ability to emotionally respond so slender has to help her out and keep an eye on her cause she might do something dumb. :(( then once she comes back she feels so bad that slender had to basically babysit her and he feels worse cause how could anyone do his love like that

IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN THIS BUT- maxine and slenderman compliment eachother so well. he's a gentleman and she's a ladylike woman and they just...fit perfectly together

her favorite modern (ish) movie is the shining cause it reminds her of the good old days and she would be like "ah yes i remember when people would kill at parties" and everyone else is like "what"

her 1920s brain loves coloring books cause she's probably never been stimulated via colors so she has a bunch of coloring books and people come over and are like "slender i didn't know you found a child" and he's all like "oh no that's just maxine"

i think sometimes she forgets she doesn't live alone and she will walk out of her room in her underwear and is like "oh great heavens my bad gs"
