last post reminded me of how i accidentally ended up in a christian students group in uni (went once as moral support for my roomie who understandably didn’t wanna go to some strangers house alone and they absolutely latched onto me) for almost a YEAR despite not being religious in any way, shape, or form bc they kept inviting me and i didn’t wanna be rude. i attended almost every get together, sometimes without my roommate. the meetings themselves were never overtly church-y and religion rarely came up so they never found out i wasn’t christian.
