{***}{***}{***}
Oh boy, it was just one of those days… I could just feel it in my body that I was going to be an asshole today and nothing anyone could do could stop me from that. My sassy mood would be the one thing that gets me in trouble today, and I think I’m honestly okay with that.
I walked into the bedroom, wearing nothing but my undergarments (which consisted of my personal favorite black/mint lingerie), and tan stockings. Matthew was sitting on the edge of the bed, tying his shoes. I walked over to the closet, right past him. We should and are getting ready for a dinner party with his friends from Criminal Minds. Should being the key-word there. I loved messing with him like that.
“Woah,” he spoke ever so softly. I stayed facing the closet, but a smile grew on my lips. I gently swayed my hips as I went through the dresses I had hanging. He was staring, I knew he had to be staring. I pulled one dress out, not really thinking it’d be the one.
“What should I wear,” I asked out to the room. The sounds of his shoes hitting the wood flooring was the answer I got instead of his voice. I pouted as I dropped my head to my shoulder, my hair hitting my arm. I jumped as his icy cold hands and arms wrapped around my middle. His face was pressed into my neck. He exhaled deeply before kissing the base of my throat. I smiled as he swayed with my movements.
“I think you should go like this. Show you off to all my friends,” Matthew hummed as he dragged his hands to the front of my hips. My hands stopped on two separate dresses and clenched the fabric in my fingers. “I think they’d enjoy that… I know I would,” he added, his thumbs playing with the lacy edges of my panties. I took a deep breath and stepped back, so I was flush against his body.
“Matthew, obviously I can’t just go in my underwear.” I scoffed as he pushed me so there was a small space between us. I sighed deeply as he stepped away from me. “I’ll figure it out,” I rolled my eyes as he retreated to the bed. I filed through my dresses again before pulling out a black cocktail dress that I knew would drive Matthew crazy during the night. I dashed off to the bathroom to finish getting ready. “Zip me up?” I asked as I stepped back into the bedroom and stood behind Matthew. Shuffling came from behind me before he zipped my dress up.
“Ready to go?” he whispered. His breath hit the shell of my ear, causing me to swallow roughly.
“Almost. Let me get my things together and I should be ready,” I sighed deeply. It’s going to be one of those nights, I just know it. Matthew pressed his lips to my cheek before walking away from me, again.
And that was my cue. I was quick. Ive never been so fast to get ready for an event. He was probably getting out into the car as we speak. I grabbed a tube of lip gloss from the bathroom and tossed it into my bag before slipping a pair of plain black heels on. And then, I left the house.
And, as per my guess, Matthew was already sitting in his station wagon, waiting for me. I shuffled to the passenger’s side of the car and pulled the door open.
I looked over at Matthew as I slipped into the car. He was looking at himself in the mirror of the visor. I swallowed roughly as my eyes trailed from his perfectly sculpted face (lingering for a moment on his lips), down to his neck (where I would love to leave love bites), down his chest (and even though he was wearing a suit, I wanted to push off his dress shirt), and finally, down to his lap (a lap I would just love to sit on). And he was just there… Sitting there, doing his thing like I wasn’t imagining wanting to rip his clothes off to have sex with him right now.
He dropped his hands from his face and rested them on his legs. I stared for a moment at his hands and their placement on his legs. I could feel my heart pick up and my head getting mildly dizzy. I took a deep breath and shook my head as I looked up at his face.
“Mm, now that’s a lap I could sit on,” I grinned at Matthew as I buckled my seatbelt in. The thought of grinding my ass into his crotch made me giggle lightly as I stared at him.
Matthew gawked as he looked over at me, his hands resting low on the steering wheel. I smiled as I folded my hands over my lap. I could feel Matthew’s eyes still on me as I looked out the window.
“What did you just say?” he asked as he slowly started the car. I hummed before looking over at him. He was still staring at me with a dumbfounded expression on his face.
“Hm? Oh! I said are you ready? I can’t wait to see Kirsten and AJ.” I smiled as I looked at him. He raised an eyebrow, but his expression was now amused instead of shocked. At least he’s amused now…
“Oh, yeah, I’m sure that’s exactly what you said, Princess,” Matthew glanced at me as he started his car and pulled out of the driveway. I couldn’t tell if he actually meant to call me that pet name, or if he was just teasing. Either way, he knows it gets me going.
“And, Aisha! Oh! I miss her!” I clapped my hands together. Matthew seemed to enjoy my excitement at seeing his friends and co-workers. It’s been a while since the wrap party for the show, so it’s been a while since either of us had seen them. “I still owe her $10 for that prank she helped me play when I visited the set that one day,” I grinned at Matthew.
“Yeah, sure, because stealing and hiding my fruit roll-ups is a prank,” he rolled his eyes as he glanced at me. I smiled and nodded. “Finding them a month later though was quite a pleasant surprise. I will admit that,” he laughed lightly.
“Listen, Matthew, you were the one who invited me to set. It’s not my fault I got bored while you were filming. Someone had to keep me entertained. I’m sorry it was Aisha who took that job. We had fun that day,” I laughed as I turned to face him. I crossed my legs as I looked at him. I pulled my purse off my body and put it in the backseat, accidentally hitting Matthew in the face. “I’m so sorry.” I looked at him with wide eyes. He looked at me with a playful irritation on his face.
“Accidents happen, just don’t let it happen again,” he glanced at me. I smiled and nodded.
“Won’t let it happen again,” I looked out the windshield.
The drive to the restaurant was in a comfortable, yet somehow tense, silent. I couldn’t help myself when it came to making a comment or innuendo of some sort. Matthew didn’t seem too crazy bothered by it, if anything it looked like he enjoyed it. Of course, I knew I needed to stop before we went in. So, I stayed silent when he pulled into a parking spot.
“You ready?” Matthew asked as he pushed the visor down. I reached back for my purse and pulled it in the front. I “accidentally” hit Matthew in the back of the head with my bag as I pulled it onto my lap. Oh, no, the first time was definitely an accident. The second time was 100% on purpose. No accident this time.
He dropped his shoulders and looked over at me, annoyance on his face. I looked down at my lap and bit my lips to refrain from smiling. Oh boy, I wonder what he’s going to do. Surely he won’t yell at me.
“Choke me, daddy,” I very jokingly teased as I looked at Matthew. He looked at me with shock on his face. I smirked as I began digging around in my purse for lip gloss. When I looked back up, Matthew threw his hand over my neck and pushed my head against the headrest. I widened my eyes and looked at him. I was relieved that he was just holding his hand there, not applying any pressure. But part of me really wanted him to do it. “I was joking,” I stated in a tone that said I wasn’t sure of myself.
“I’m not so sure you were… Princess,” Matthew smiled at me before removing his hand and turning back to the visor. I pouted at the lack of his touch and looked at him. I moved closer to him and looked up at his face. “Can I help you,” he looked away from the tiny visor mirror and down at me. I smiled and nodded before puckering my lips.
“Please,” I whispered and batted my eyelashes at him. He laughed before kissing my lips lightly. I pouted as I turned back in my seat. I glanced at Matthew and noticed that he was still fixing his mess of hair in the mirror. I turned back to face him, grabbing his hand again. He glanced at me for a moment before looking back at his reflection. I slowly brought his hand back to my throat and looked at him.
I swallowed roughly as I stared at him, keeping his hand on my throat. Matthew just continued to mess around with his hair. “Are you busy with my hand,” he asked looking at me. I pouted and pushed his hand away from me.
“No, I’m not,” I muttered before looking down at my phone. I looked at Matthew and pouted. “But I’d like to be,” I glared at him as I placed my hand high on my bare thigh.
“Hold on, what do you think you’re doing,” Matthew asked as his hand shot out to grasp my wrist. I smirked and looked over at him, pushing his hand off mine.
“Well, I wanna have fun before we go in and you won’t have fun with me. So, I’m gonna do it myself. Unless you want to change your mind,” I snipped back as I brought my hand to my panties. I honestly should’ve just forgone the underwear tonight. I don’t know why I didn’t. I could feel through the thin fabric that I was wet. He didn’t even do a damn thing to get me as wet as I am. But here I am, nearly sitting in a puddle. I suppose he just has that effect on me.
I looked at Matthew as I slid my hand into my panties and pressed a finger into my center, collecting some wetness on my finger. I gasped and lightly closed my eyes. I slowly moved my finger around my clit as I looked back at Matthew. He was silently watching me for a minute. The way he looked at me told me he was pissed. I've never seen him so mad before. I let out a soft moan as I pressed my head into the headrest.
“Matthew,” I whimpered as I looked at him. He shifted slightly in his seat as he looked back at me. I slowly circled my finger around my clit as I locked eyes with him. My breathing grew labored as I brought my free hand to my breast, kneading it over my shirt and bra. Just as I started to pick up speed, Matthew’s hand grasped my wrist and stilled my movements. I looked at him, alarmed and frustrated. He seriously did not just do that.
“Get in the backseat, we’ll have to be quick,” he muttered as he yanked my hand from my panties. I looked at him with wide eyes. He was looking at my wet finger before putting it in his mouth. I took a deep breath, feeling more overwhelmed by the second. “Go on,” he half-ordered as he nodded to the back seat. “Don’t make me say it again,” he muttered when I stayed frozen in my seat. I nodded before getting out of the front seat and trying to move fast to the back.
I sat in the middle of the bench seat and shimmied out of my panties. Matthew was quick to sit beside me in the backseat. He didn’t even give me time to understand what was about to happen. That’s okay, I just know I’ll get what I want.
He gently pushed me so I was lying across the bench and he hovered over me and in between my legs. One of his knees stayed between my legs, making it so I couldn’t press them together for any sort of pleasure. Part of me hated it when he was like this, but another part loved it. He knew that too.
“You are being such a bad girl,” he whispered, bringing his hand back to my throat. I gasped and pressed my head into the seat. I looked up at him and nodded, telling him it was more than okay to do this. He gently and carefully put pressure into his grip as he stared down at me. I struggled slightly to breathe as I locked eyes with him again. “Touching yourself in the parking lot before we go into a dinner party… With my friends nonetheless,” he kept his voice low. Matthew brought his other hand down between my legs, resting it at the top of my thighs.
“I’m sorry,” I struggled to speak as I threw a hand over his one on my neck. He cocked his head slightly as he stared at me.
“You’re sorry, Princess?” he questioned, slowly moving his hand closer to my center. My eyes rolled into the back of my head as he moved my panties to the side. I tried to swallow roughly and nodded. “Sorry just isn’t going to do it,” he spoke, causing me to open my eyes.
I tapped my fingers on the back of his hand, silently telling him that I really needed air. His eyes flashed slightly with concern as he removed his hand. I took a deep breath like it was my first time breathing. It was like fire in my lungs as I inhaled and felt like I was mildly high as I exhaled.
“I won’t do it again,” I whispered as I looked up at him. We both knew that I was clearly lying when I said that. Any chance I get to act like this, I’ll do it. A small smile twitched on his lips as he inserted a finger into my center. I gasped and closed my eyes as he pumped his finger in and out of me.
“I don’t believe you,” he whispered, pushing his hand into my hair. I stared at him, shock on my face. “You know you’ll have to be punished for that. Right, Princess,” he asked as he rubbed my clit with his thumb. I whimpered and bit my lips together before nodding. “Mm-hmm, use your words,” his words were low. I swallowed roughly and stared at him.
“Yes, yes, I know. I know,” I spoke fast like if I didn’t speak fast enough I wouldn’t have words to say. I brought my hands to his belt buckle, going to undo his belt. I yelped when he grabbed both my hands with his one free hand. He held my hands above my head and smiled down at me.
“I’m in charge here, Princess, you know that,” Matthew moved his thumb faster. I wiggled and nodded. He leaned down close to my ear before whispering, “You don’t get to come till I tell you you can. Okay?” his tone was mildly teasing. His breath hit the shell of my ear, causing me to shiver slightly. I took a deep and shaky breath as I stared at him, a certain excitement setting in my belly. I was okay with it, honestly.
“Matthew,” I whined as I inadvertently bucked my hips to his hand. He pulled his hand away from my center, causing me to whine loudly. I stared at him in protest. “Yes, I understand,” I cried as I stared at him. He smiled before sticking his fingers between my lips. I sucked them clean, free of my arousal, as I stared at him. He smiled at me before pulling his fingers from my mouth and placing his hand on my jawline.
“Good girl,” he whispered. But the way he said it told me I wasn’t really a good girl. No, I knew I wasn’t a good girl. However, I was getting what I wanted, so who’s really winning and in charge? I just needed to be like this more often.
Matthew removed his hand from my face and down to his belt. Somehow, he managed to get his belt buckle undone with one hand, and managed to undo his pants. I looked down as he pulled himself out of his pants and boxers. I whined and tried to pull my hands. My hips ground into the seat beneath me to get some sort of pleasure.
“Wanna touch you,” I cried as I pulled my hands from his grip. He laughed as his grip on my wrists got a little tighter. “Please,” I whined looking between his face and down at his length. “Matthew, please,”
“You should have thought of that before that stunt you pulled,” he whispered before stroking himself a few times. I let out a loud whine and wiggled in my spot. He groaned slowly before lining himself up to my entrance.
I’ve never wanted to touch this man so badly in my entire life. I wanted to run my hands in his hair, tugging at the hair on the back of his head. I wanted to drag my hands all over his chest, leaving red scratchy marks in their wake. And I wanted to wrap my fingers and hands around his cock. He is killing me right now.
The head of his cock was pressed against me, causing me to inhale deeply. He smiled before slowly entering me. I struggled to stay still and quiet as he slowly bottomed out. I swallowed roughly as my breathing became ragged.
“Oh, Princess,” Matthew mocked as he looked down at me as he slowly started moving his hips. I whimpered as I continuously tried to pull my hands from his grip. A smile twitched on his lips again, further frustrating me. Bastard knows how to mess with me and I hated it more than anything in the world.
Matthew slowly, and carefully, picked up the pace of his hips. The way he brought his lips to mine made me feel dizzy. He knew how to kiss, with lips like his? Of course, he knew how to kiss. He carefully bit my lower lip before kissing his way down my jaw and to my neck. He left a small love bite on the nape of my neck, making it difficult to breathe. This level of excitement would kill me.
“Fuck,” I cried, throwing my head to the side. Matthew laughed and shook his head. A moan so loud, I swear it came from the pit of my stomach, came from my lips. He laughed again as he looked down at me
"You need to be a little quieter," he whispered into my ear. He clamped a hand over my mouth and nose to silence me. I whimpered against his hand and nodded.
He has to know how close I’m getting. I was about to be in more trouble than I already am. He keeps playing me the way he is. If he did anything else, I would be screwed. No, no wait. I already am screwed, or being screwed.
“You getting close,” he grunted. I sighed and nodded, trying to hold back a moan. His face twitched as he smiled at me. I closed my eyes, not wanting to look too long at him. I knew if I kept my eyes on him I’d break. I can’t break now. He’s right though, I am getting close.
I nodded, as if my answer would give me what I wanted. He smiled before pressing his lips to mine in a rough way. When he finally pulled his hand from my wrists, I pushed my hands through his hair and kept them firmly placed on the back of his head. He groaned as I tugged lightly on his hair.
“Mmm,” I looked up at him as he pulled his head away from me. I bit my lips together and nodded. I wrapped my legs around his waist to pull him closer to me. My heels dug into his lower back as I gripped his tie with one hand.
Matthew hooked his arm under one of my knees and lifted my leg slightly to get a better angle. I cried when a burn started to grow in my hamstring, but also when he pressed deeper into me. I closed my eyes and pressed my head into the seat. I could feel myself getting closer. Maybe he forgot what he said?
And then he stopped his movements. I opened my eyes and looked up at him, feeling anger grow suddenly on my face. Matthew was looking down at me with a smile on his lips. Although, I knew it must’ve been hard for him to stop. He was just happy to see me suffer.
“I hate you. Please, please,” I pulled on his tie to bring him closer to my face. Matthew smiled at me before pressing his lips to mine. I whined against his lips. He laughed before slowly moving his hips again. “I’m so close,” I managed to get out through pants.
“Yeah,” he asked the obvious. I screwed my eyes shut and nodded. I’m sure if I had it in me, I would have been more than sarcastic. But I couldn’t even begin to try. I’m sure he would keep teasing me if I was sarcastic, so my best bet was to either stay quiet or let out a grotesque sound. I went with the latter. That seemed to please Matthew.
“Promise you won’t do that again,” he brought his hand to push my hair away from my face, before resting it on my cheek. I swallowed roughly and nodded. “Uh, use your words, Princess,”
“I… I promise…” I spoke, my voice was soft and shaky. I pressed both my hands flat on his chest as I looked up at him. He smiled softly and nodded.
“Come on, come for me,” he whispered, keeping his hips moving at a steady pace. After a moment, I felt my body snap and tighten around him. I threw my arms back around his neck as I buried my face into his body. I shouted his name when I reached my high. My body arched up into his, and he held me close.
Matthew’s movements faltered slightly and a groan fell from his lips. I could feel him release inside me as he rode out his orgasm. Oh, that bastard.
He gently rested me back down on the seat. I looked up at him and laughed, bringing my hands to rest on his cheeks. He looked down at me, smiled before laughing.
“I don’t know what’s so funny,” he mused as he moved away from me and sat at the way opposite end of the seat. I stayed lying down, watching as he tucked himself back in his pants.
“I didn’t know you could do that,” I smiled at him, watching as he went to the front seat. He moved a few things around before coming back to me with a handful of napkins and a pack of wet wipes. “I think I might have to break my promise and do that again,” I laughed at him again.
“Well, now we’re late, so I hope you’re happy,” he mumbled as he cleaned between my legs. I flinched at the coolness of the wipes. When he finished cleaning me up, as best he could, he grasped my hands and pulled me so I was sitting up. I looked at him and smiled.
“Yeah, I got my fun,” I kissed his lips. I reached upfront for my bag and pushed Matthew out of the car. I quickly fixed my hair in the reflection of the window before following close behind him.
Of course, when we entered the restaurant, loud chatter came from the far side. Everything told me that it was Matthew’s friends doing all the talking.
“There he is!” A familiar and friendly voice shouted as we got closer to the table. I stood beside Matthew and smiled at him. “With his lovely girlfriend,”
“Kirsten! It’s great to see you,” I smiled at her when I saw who was talking. I walked around to embrace her. Shemar whispered something to Adam before looking over at Matthew, then at me, and then back at me.
"So sorry we're late," Matthew spoke as he pulled a chair out for me. I glanced at him before sitting. He sat beside me and smiled. "I forgot something at home and had to turn back to get it. And then the traffic here was awful." The lie he told was so easy. I'm impressed he told it so easily.
"And I needed to change. There was a stain on the front of my dress." I looked down at my dress that I’ve been in since we left the house. I did not change...
“You’re both walking like you just had sex,” Shemar looked between Matthew and I. I looked up at Matthew before looking at the table. I could feel my cheeks warm up. “You didn’t,”
“Yeah, we… we just had sex.” I muttered.

TFATWS: Look Me in the Heart
Prompted by this quote: “In my dreams I am kissing your mouth and you’re whispering ‘where have you been?’ I say, ‘I’ve been lost but I’m here now. You’re the only person who has ever been able to find me.’” — Sue Zhao
What woke him up this time?
He ran through the litany of the usual reasons he woke up in the middle of the night. He hadn’t had a nightmare. He wasn’t hungry, although, come to think of it, he could eat. He didn’t need to piss. Not urgently, anyway. He was a little warm, though, with Sam plastered against his back. But it wasn’t enough to wake him.
Bucky mentally shrugged and eased from the bed. Whatever the reason, he was wide awake now. He stooped to pick up a pair of sweatpants and a shirt from the floor, unsure if they were his or Sam’s. It didn’t matter really. He left the bedroom and went downstairs, navigating around the creaky spots in the floor and staircase so he didn’t wake Sam.
He wandered around the living room, picking up his book, and then put it down when he couldn't sit still long enough to focus on the page. There was a small easel in the corner, and the light of the full moon meant he could see enough to do some sketches if he wanted, but he turned from the easel and drifted to the large windows that bracketed the couch.
Bucky pushed the gauzy curtain aside and craned his head so he could look up. Nothing fascinated him more than star-strewn night skies. It had been hard to see the stars in Brooklyn, even in the thirties. He grasped the blanket folded over the arm of the couch and walked into the back, head tilted back as he crossed the yard, the grass cool under his bare feet. Bucky unfurled the blanket and lay down, staring up at the sky.
He could get lost in the expanse of it.
A few weeks before he plummeted from that train, the usual low, grey clouds parted, giving them a rare, clear night in Germany for Christmas. It had been so fucking cold, that he thought his balls were going to freeze off. But the stars… They had seemed close enough to touch. He could still recall the scent of the fir and spruce trees carried on the frigid tendrils of wind. The pinpricks of light in the inky darkness. And for an all-too-brief moment, the war faded.
It was his first clear memory as Bucky Barnes after he escaped Hydra, while lying on the bed in a motel room just outside D.C.
He'd wept for what felt like hours, his hand clamped over his mouth to muffle the sounds of his raw emotions. Just when he thought the tears had ceased, they welled up again. The joy had been tempered with the growing realization that he remembered every detail of his actions under the Winter Soldier conditioning, but in that moment, the only thing he cared about was knowing he was James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes.
And Bucky Barnes wasn't a killer.
***
‘Buck?’ Sam sat up, wiping sleep from his eyes. The right side of the bed was empty, the bedding flipped back and cold. He picked up his phone, squinting at the bright light as the screen lit up. It was nearly two in the morning.
As far as Sam was aware, nothing untoward had happened at the party. Bucky had spent enough time in Delacroix before he moved here that nearly everyone viewed him as a member of the Wilson family. AJ and Cass had seen to that. They’d called him Uncle Bucky even before he’d moved into the house without prompting from anyone. They loved Bucky at first because Sam did, then came to love him as someone separate from Sam.
Bucky had seemed fine while they cleaned up, humming lightly with the music that played on his phone while he washed the dishes, with a faint smile that skipped over his mouth. Neither had he seemed particularly bothered by anything when they went to bed. But that wasn't saying much. Bucky was getting rather good at tamping down his bad days in front of Sarah and the boys.
He slid out of bed and snagged the hoodie draped over the armchair in the corner and pulled it over his head, then headed down the stairs, avoiding the spots that creaked out of long habit.
Bucky wasn’t on the couch or the floor, as he’d half expected. Recovery wasn’t a straight line, and Bucky still had nightmares from time to time that chased him from their bed. He probably always would.
Sam picked up his running shoes by the front door and pulled them over his bare feet. He caught the screen door before it could slam shut, gazing around the front yard. Bucky’s motorcycle was still parked next to his truck.
He rounded to the back of the house and stopped short.
Bucky lay in the grass, staring up at the sky, limned in the silvery light of the moon and stars.
‘Hey.’ Sam spoke in a low tone so as not to startle him.
Bucky tilted his head back and grinned, his teeth flashing in the darkness. ‘Hey…’
Sam crossed to Bucky and stretched out next to him. ‘You good?’
Bucky nodded. 'Yeah.' He rolled over and straddled Sam, letting his lips slide down the slope of his nose. His mouth hovered over Sams, their lips brushing together as he spoke. ‘I was lost for a long time. And you helped me find myself again.’ His kissed him with a languorous sweetness that made Sam’s breath catch in his throat. ‘You were the only person who saw me.’
He shifted until he lay next to Sam once more, and laced their hands together. They lay in companionable silence, gazing at the stars. A streak of silvery light burst into life and arced across the sky. 'Make a wish,' Sam breathed.
Bucky felt the contented smile that seemed to be a permanent fixture on his face appear. He hadn't let himself ponder why Sarah, AJ, and Cass so easily folded him into their family. Or the rest of Delacroix, for that matter. It all came back to Sam, who led by example. Sam didn't expect him to be the Bucky that Steve Rogers once knew. And despite their first encounters, Sam had been able to dissociate the Winter Soldier from Bucky Barnes, while acknowledging the years Hydra spent using his body had left their mark. No judgment. No pity. Just acceptance and unconditional love.
He turned his head, taking in the sight of Sam, starlight gleaming in his eyes. 'It already came true.'

bathrooms.
i accidentally got poetic and romantic bathrooms. and then i wrote it down. and then i made it gay :)
OR, a story about love told in four parts.
-
-
i.
it’s a bit of an anything goes type of space—the bathroom. a half-way between the privacy and intimacy of a bedroom and the exposure of a living space. and that makes sense, AJ decides. makes sense that the bathroom would be where this happens then.
but just because it makes sense, doesn’t mean AJ had been expecting it. because she hadn’t. it happens sort of out of nowhere. not completely out of nowhere though. because they do have a history—messy and complex as most histories tend to be.
but the point is that she wasn’t expecting it. wasn’t expecting to see Poppy at the first frat party of the year. and definitely wasn’t expecting to wind up in a bathroom with her.
they’d bumped into each other in the line for the bathroom. it wasn’t a long line, so waiting wasn’t an issue. but it was just long enough for each of them to get a few catty remarks in. and they were at the end of the line, too. so, by the time it was Poppy’s turn to use the bathroom, they were alone in the hallway.
“you missed me over the summer, didn’t you,” AJ had said. her lips quirking up in the stupidly endearing half-grin.
Poppy had scoffed and folded her arms across her chest. “no i didn’t.”
“liar.”
and somewhere throughout their conversation, AJ and Poppy had drifted closer together. they’ll both deny it after the fact, but they were both aware of what was happening. how the space between them was slowly lessening. how the air felt taut around them, like it was just waiting for something to break it.
“why would i miss you? i hate you,” Poppy had said, her voice just a little bit breathy and her gaze flicking between AJ’s lips and eyes.
“if that’s the case, why are you still out here talking to me? the bathroom’s free.” AJ had leant in a little more, as though her words were a secret meant only for the two of them.
and that’s what finally broke it. Poppy grabbed AJ’s arm and yanked her into the bathroom. a surprised yelp slipped through AJ’s lips when Poppy pushed her up against the door. and then Poppy’s lips were on hers and her tongue was in her mouth and there was little else AJ could do— wanted to do, but kiss her back.
and now Poppy’s moaning and tugging at AJ’s shirt, trying desperately to fumble her way through unbuttoning it.
AJ pulls away, breathless. “what are— what’re we doing?”
“isn’t it obvious?” and as if to make her point, Poppy finishes unbuttoning AJ’s shirt.
“i just meant, like... are you sure?”
“it’s just sex. it’s not like we’re about to rob a bank.”
“i know. i still wanted to check, y’know?”
Poppy hums, seeming to regard AJ’s answer for a moment.
“what?” AJ quirks her head to the side a little bit.
“nothing.” Poppy shakes the thought from her head. “come on, we were in the middle of something.”
“right. yeah.”
AJ pulls Poppy in for another kiss that’s heated and messy and mostly just tongue at this point. and then, in one swift motion, she picks Poppy up and places her on the bathroom counter.
“that’s a fun new trick.” Poppy smirks and wraps her legs around AJ’s waist to pull her in close. “learn that over the summer?”
“jealous?” AJ grins.
Poppy scoffs. “as if.” and then she pulls AJ in again. kissing her hard, almost desperate, like she’s got something to prove.
it happens kind of quickly after that—they are in a bathroom at a frat party after all. shirts get tossed aside, belts undone, and skirts pushed up around waists. AJ’s fingers slip beneath Poppy’s underwear, teasing and waiting. it’s a breathy “hurry up already,” and Poppy’s nails digging into her shoulders that tells AJ to get to it. Poppy comes in a blur of panting and moaning and muffled curses.
they stay pressed together as Poppy comes down. and once she’s caught her breath, she pushes AJ back. and they get dressed and cleaned up in silence.
“thanks for that,” Poppy says once they’re both dressed and she’s fixing her hair in the mirror.
AJ hums, distracted, as she tucks her shirt back into her jeans.
“wait five minutes. i don’t want people seeing us stumble downstairs together.”
“what am i supposed to do then? just sit here?”
Poppy tosses AJ a stick of gum from her purse. “amuse yourself.” and then with a final satisfied nod at her reflection, she’s gone.
ii.
months go by since that initial encounter in the bathroom—winter break comes and goes. and it’s become a regular thing between them. almost like a rehearsed routine.
they’ll find each other across the room at whatever party they’re at. give each other a look that says “bathroom. five minutes.” then the bathroom door gets locked. and they’ll make quick work of buttons and belts. let their hands wander and explore until they’re both gasping and moaning. and then—
they leave the bathroom separately. pretend they were both drunk or that it meant nothing. it’s a lie, of course. because they aren’t drunk, not by a long shot. and it happens lots of times. too many times for it to mean nothing.
but none of that stops AJ. she follows Poppy upstairs. listens to the stairs creak beneath her weight and wonders why in the hell she’s noticing that before.
they’re both in the bathroom now. the door’s locked. it’s the same as it always is. but something feels different. it’s the air, AJ thinks. it’s heavy. foreboding. like it knows something she doesn’t. she wonders if it’s mocking her, but then she doesn’t really care because now Poppy’s kissing her and it’s softer than it normally is. and she’s not pushing against AJ as much or pushing her where she wants. like she’s ceding control. like she trusts AJ.
and there’s a lot to unpack there and AJ’s definitely not ready for that. so she goes with it. she’s careful and softer, too. and when AJ gets Poppy to come, she definitely notices the way her name glides off her lips like it’s something to be cherished.
once they’re finished and dressed and AJ’s left waiting in the bathroom again, she realises something. she realises that maybe she’s falling a little bit and that she’s definitely going to be the one to get hurt.
iii.
there’s another party a few weeks later and AJ goes to that. she has fun. drinks a little bit. plays beer pong when a few of the football boys insist that she team with them.
and then she sees Poppy across the room, and Poppy sees her and gives her that look. the look that says, “bathroom. five minutes.” and she’s about to follow because this is what they do. but then she remembers last time and what she realised. and the AJ doesn’t follow.
iv.
the weeks continue to fall away like dominos in a line. and then before AJ really knows it, they’re a month out from graduation. she hasn’t seen much of Poppy either. but figures that’s probably for the best.
there’s another party—isn’t there always?—and AJ figures she’ll go because it’s been a while since she last went out. there’s drinking and music and flashy lights and games.
the night dwindles on. and when AJ’s dancing, she feels someone grab her wrist and drag her away. it’s Poppy, AJ very quickly realises. Poppy who looks pissed and is now pulling her upstairs and into the bathroom.
Poppy spins around and pulls AJ to her. kisses her hard like she wants it to hurt. but not hurt in a physical way. hurt in the way that she wants AJ to miss it once it’s over. and AJ goes along with it. matches the enthusiasm, and bites and nips at Poppy’s lower lip. because she does miss it. she really fucking misses it.
it’s Poppy who pulls apart first. “what the fuck?!” and then she smacks AJ’s shoulder.
“what?” AJ looks nothing short of dumbfounded. “you’re the one who kissed me.”
“and you kissed back!”
“because you kissed me.”
and then she kisses AJ again. desperate this time. and she’s definitely trying to prove something.
“why do you keep kissing me?” AJ asks when the pull apart again.
“why didn’t you follow me?” Poppy cuts back with.
“what?”
“in March,” Poppy says and she sounds disappointed now. “when i looked at you and went upstairs. you didn’t follow. and then whatever we were just stopped.”
“why does it matter?”
“because— fuck you.”
“oh, that’s rich. you’re the one who dragged me up here! you’re the one who kissed me! you’re—”
“because i’m in love with you!”
and then it all just goes quiet. not even the muffled music from downstairs can break it. they stand in the silence. and it lays thick on their skin like a poison. seeping into their veins. wrapping them in a near suffocating embrace.
“remember,” Poppy starts softly, a stark contrast to before. “remember when you asked me if i missed you over the summer?”
AJ hums, thoughts racing.
“well...” she takes a steadying breath, “i did. i missed you so fucking much and i hated that. i hated that i couldn’t stop thinking about you. i hated that we weren’t together and that i couldn’t call you and that you didn’t text me. i just...” Poppy sighs and runs her hands through her hair. looking frantic and desperate and like she’s so close to falling apart.
“i missed you and i knew i was falling for you even then. but i wanted to prove to myself that i wasn’t. that we could have casual sex and have it mean nothing. except it didn’t work because now it means everything and i don’t know what to do.”
“i, um... i didn’t know,” AJ eventually says a moment later.
“yeah, well, now you do.”
“i didn’t follow you because i didn’t want to get hurt,” AJ says a moment later. “because i knew my feelings for you were changing. i just... i didn’t want to get hurt. so there, that’s why.”
“oh.”
there’s more silence, broken only by the muffled music carrying up from downstairs.
“what now then?” Poppy asks.
“whatever we want.”
and then they share a smile meant only for moments like these—quiet moments. intimate moments. and that makes sense, AJ thinks. because they’re standing in a bathroom. and it’s cramped and stuffy and there’s definitely some kind of mould growing in the corner. it’s far from perfect, but it’s an intimate space. a private space.
Poppy takes AJ’s hand and squeezes. and then they walk out of the bathroom and back downstairs together.

[TWDG] Louis x Female!reader (Reuniting)
“hi!! could you do a Louis (twdg) x fem! reader where they’re dating and they’ve escaped the boat and get separated for a bit and just a real fluffy reunion at the end (pls no tongueless Lou please sksksks) “
Genre: Angst-fluff
Linktree
~~~
Louis kept Minnie distracted while Clementine figured a way out of her cell, though the boy was quickly losing his temper. (Y/n) placed a hand on his arm in an attempt to calm him down, but he barely noticed over his rising temperature as the anger flourishes through him.
"After everything, she’s done? You’re just gonna help her? FUCK You!" Louis screamed.
Louis gripped the bars tightly in his hands, wanting to rip them off completely.
Luckily, his little outburst was more than enough for Clementine to slam open the door to knock Minnie to the ground and let herself and Violet out. Clem quickly released the lock on the cell opposite to hers before she turned to the group. Violet kneeled next to her ex-girlfriend, not wanting to go back to school now that she had seen Minnie for the first time in a year, and after all that time she spent mourning.
Minnie is knocked out as Violet brushed her fingers through her ex-lover’s hair; missing how long it used to be.
“Violet, we need to go. She isn’t the same Minnie she was a year ago. I’m sorry,” (y/n) said.
(y/n)’s words almost stroke a chord in her, enough to leave the boat and Minnie? Violet only shook her head in response, not knowing who or what to believe anymore. After everything Lily and the rest of the Raiders put her through, she didn’t know if her own thoughts are hers. What was she supposed to believe? (y/n) glared at the floor before she decided to stay with Violet to convince her to go back to Ericson’s with everyone.
"I'll stay with Violet. You guys should go while you can," (y/n) said.
Louis took a step forward to say something to convince her and maybe Violet but couldn’t get a word out as Clementine grabbed his arm and pulled him toward the exit, trusting (y/n) to take care of Violet for her.
Louis hated leaving (y/n) anywhere, but he didn’t have a choice in this scenario. Not when everyone he knew was in danger. He, along with Aasim and Omar immediately headed off of the boat and into a semi-safety zone as Clementine dealt with Lily.
But (y/n) was stuck with Violet, trying to console her and convince her to come back home. But it was taking more time than they actually had. (y/n) wasn’t even sure when the bomb was actually going to go off, but she had to keep trying.
“Vi, please. I can’t imagine what Lily and the other raiders said to you but it’s not true. I know how much you loved Minnie, we all did… but she’s not the same person she was a year ago, I’m sorry,” (y/n) softly said.
Violet was hesitant, it was normal. Nobody but her and the raiders knew what happened to her psyche.
Becoming mentally abused was just as bad as being physically abused.
But she gave (y/n) her hand to pull her up and leave the boat. She, and everyone else, just wanted to be rid of the past few days worth of memories.
Violet didn’t say a word as she followed (y/n) out of the boat, what did she even say to make up for her former actions? It was probably better to deal with it later, maybe when they were all back home, safe and sound.
By the time the boat exploded, most of the students were on the cart carried by the horse, leaving already. But Louis didn’t feel comfortable leaving (y/n) for the second time that night. It would feel wrong to leave the person he cherished most in the world for raiders and walkers.
“Louis, come on. She can take care of herself. You can come back for her after everyone else is safe,” Aasim disagreed.
Another moment of hesitation was all it took for Violet and (y/n) to enter Louis’ sights, making a beeline toward the cart full of injured students.
“(y/n), babe--” Before Louis could say much else, (y/n) pushed Violet into the cart before she looked to Aasim as he was the oldest of all the former students of the school.
“Go, I can hold them off for a while, but you need to go now,” (y/n) said.
Before Louis could gain her attention, she shoved him into the small space as well, not letting him have a word.
Louis wasn’t able to hop out of the cart by the time the horses took off toward the school. He could only watch helplessly as the love of his life fought for her safety. Though Louis tried to escape the cart to go help, Aasim and the rest of the kids were quick to catch onto his plan and hold him back.
"No! I have to help her! I can't lose her…" Louis’s voice cracked as he struggled to get out of the grip of Aasim and Violet.
All of their heart's broke at the broken look on Louis' face, but they knew (y/n) wouldn't be happy with Louis being in danger, so they kept their grip tight on him.
Luckily, the way back to the school didn’t feel very long with the horses and all the students occupied with keeping Louis away from the dangerous site. But the second the horses stopped in the school, Louis was out of their vice grip and was turned to them,
“I’m going to find her, I can’t leave her in the woods all alone,” Louis spoke up.
The group was silent for a few moments, they just wanted everyone to be safe, but Louis wasn’t going to stop fighting until (y/n) was safe in his arms once again.
Aasim stepped forward and grabbed Louis by the shoulders, giving him a stern look before he spoke, “Okay, stay safe.”
Louis straightened out his outfit before he gave Aasim a confident smile.
“Well, Safety is my middle name,” Louis joked.
Aasim and the rest of the kids stared at Louis with a deadpan look. It was no time for jokes, but of course it was in Louis’ nature.
“Isn’t it Jamie?” Louis gave Aasim a joking glare before he turned toward the forest and searched for his beloved.
…
Luckily it didn’t take more than a few hours for Louis to find (y/n) aimlessly wandering the woods. She was never good with directions.
Louis released a relieved gasp to see his love all in one piece and healthy, or she looked to be from the distance at the very least.
Louis picked up the speed with his feet until he was only a few yards away from (y/n) before he yelled out to her, “(y/n)!”
(y/n) pointed her gaze to Louis, happy to see a familiar face in the endless woods. A smile broke onto her face and without any warning, she jumped into Louis’s arms.
Though he almost lost his footing, Louis wrapped his arms around (Y/n), securing her to him so if they both fell, they’d be falling together.
“Lou. I’m glad you got out safe,” (y/n) said as she pulled away and onto her own two feet before continuing, “Is everyone safe, the children?”
Louis was hoping that Clementine and the kids would be safe as well, but it looked as if (y/n) had been on her own for the past hour.
“No, but I’m sure we can find them together. Alright, Babe?” Louis offered.
(y/n) was grateful for Louis’s optimism, she would have lost hope a long time ago without it. She granted Louis a quick kiss on the lips, one of her hands slipped into his before she pulled away.
“Okay. But I don’t want you leaving my side for a while.”
Louis leaned in to rest his forehead against (y/n)’s, his tone lowered to one that could be compared to a whisper, “Of course, Baby. I want to be by your side the whole way.”
Getting onto the task finally, (Y/n) and Louis, hand-in-hand, set out to find Clementine, AJ, Tennessee and James: unscathed and safe.
New Girl (Pt.1)
Pairing: JJ Maybank x Reader
Warnings: Swearing, Mention of Death
Word Count: 1.2K
Summary: You just moved to the Outerbanks this summer because of your dad’s business, you weren’t all that excited until you met a boy who would make this transition a whole lot easier.
A/N: I haven’t really written much fanfic, I used to write a little but not so much anymore. I’m a little rusty but I promise I can do better. I am however planning on making this a multi-part series, I really hope you guys enjoy it and lmk what you’d like to see later on as it progresses.
It was your first full day out in the Outerbanks and you wouldn’t say you were too excited to have moved down here. You had a life settled back home but you wanted to go along with what was best for your dad. You lost your mom a few years ago and it was tough on both of you, especially him. A few months ago he was given an amazing offer to transfer his boating business here and it made him happy. You loved life but maybe a fresh start was what you needed. It couldn’t be that bad right? Fresh water, warm weather, maybe some cute guys. You tried to be optimistic but it was difficult not knowing the town yet.
From what you had heard from the locals, you lived on The Cut, a place for the more working-class type people which was the counterpart to the Figure Eight, where the rich lived. It wasn’t quite the dynamic separation you were used to but you would figure it out as you explored.
“Hey dad, is it alright if I take one of the boats out on the water for a bit?” You asked already scooting towards the rack on the wall. “You know we haven’t been here very long. Wouldn’t it be better if we went together?”
He questioned what you were plotting but honestly, you just needed a breather for the time being. “I just wanted some alone time is all. I promise I’ll be back before dark.” He hesitantly let you go. You hurried out the door, excited to just get to know the area but leaving your phone on the counter. He yelled something before you left but you were far gone. You started up the boat and got going so you could cover some ground while the light was still out. In all honesty, maybe this change wouldn’t be so bad after all. It was just you and the open water, nothing could come between you and that liberating feeling….except the fact that the boat was running low on gas. “Fuck”. You quickly reached out to grab your phone to be met with an empty pocket. “How could I be so stupid?”, you sat frustrated with your face in your palms. It took a minute of cool down but you figured you’d see a boat sometime being you weren’t that far away from “The Cut”. Your eyes scanned the clear horizon until you saw a small boat in the distance. As soon as you knew, you raced to the back steering wheel and frantically honked the horn. Once the boat stopped you stood on the bench and began to wave your arms, hoping to god they’d see you so you’d get home before your dad got too worried. “Hey!, over here!” You kept yelling as they sped up towards your boat. It was some group of kids your age, as they approached you could see the group more clearly but one person caught your eye in particular. He was a cute blonde boy with the most beautiful blue eyes, you didn’t know his name but intended to find out. “Hey guys, my name’s Y/N, nice to meet you” you put your hand out to shake theirs but instead got a high five from the blondie.
“ Don’t mind him, I’m John B”, the long-haired brunette boy spoke up. “And this is Pope, Kiara, my girlfriend Sarah, and high five guy over here is JJ.” He paused looking at the unfamiliar boat “Are you new? I’ve never seen you around before.” He asked, you were guessing he was a local on this side of the island. “Yeah, I just got here yesterday actually. I live down the bay with my dad’s boating business which is kind of ironic seeing that I broke down because I ran out of gas.” they laughed at the quick little story which helped ease the awkwardness slightly.
“Oh we were going down there anyway. Get on our boat here and just let me just get the rig so we can tow you back.” It was a good feeling knowing they were so warm and welcoming even though you were the new girl here. You hesitantly hopped on their boat (With JJ’s help) and sat down near the girls quietly. It was an awkward boat ride until Sarah spoke up with an idea. “ Y/N, I was thinking, since you’re new here and all you could hang out with us tomorrow at John B’s house.” she definitely seemed to be the nicest one here next to John B.
“C’mon, you’re inviting some new girl to hang out with us?” JJ spoke up. It seemed like he was teasing but you couldn’t really read him like that yet. You thought about it but maybe it wasn’t the best idea since your dad might be kind of wary of his daughter going out with a group of random teenagers. You were going to answer when Kiara snapped at JJ
“Oh shut it JJ, I saw you staring at her ass when you were “helping” her on the boat”, she emphasized her point with verrrry dramatic air quotes. Pope laughed at what she said which was your first impression from him. You just met but you already had these girls backing you up. Maybe it’d be good for you to jump into a new experience, you weren’t exactly the most outgoing, adventurous girl where you came from. It took a few more silent minutes until your boat was towed to the dock. You gathered your things when you saw your dad waiting. “What happened to the boat, who are these kids?” he quickly questioned while mostly eyeing the boys that stood near you. “Dad it’s okay. I just met them out in the water, they live down the way. This is Pope, Kiara, John B,his girlfriend Sarah and AJ.” (You had to get back at JJ for the teasing earlier). This time JJ properly shook hands, with your dad this time “ Correction. JJ by the way. Good evening sir, it seems your boat ran out of gas while Y/N was out. Might have to teach your daughter a little better on how boats operate.” His sarcasm jumped out again. Your eyes went wide hoping your dad would just laugh off a comment like that. “You know, might just have to.” He laughed at what JJ said and you were relieved, he was the kind to have some type of comeback and you were lucky he didn’t.
They waved as you and your dad said goodbye and were cleaning up outside “You seem to be pretty perky.” your dad commented as you walked inside. It’d been a while since he’d seen you so happy “Yeah, they were super nice and everything and-” you were hesitant to finish what you were saying because it was likely he’d say no but you went for it. “And they wanted to know if I could hang out with them tomorrow, to show me around the town, maybe even give us some places to sail out to.” You weren’t looking at him but you could tell he wasn’t too thrilled with the idea. He wasn’t really the one to let you go out with strangers but seeing you happy meant a lot to him. Even if he moved for business, it was also because your old lives held so many bad memories. It was about time to make good ones. “You can go, just don’t forget your phone this time so I can call you.”
Part 2 should be written tomorrow or Saturday, I hope you guys like where this is going so far!
SEBASTIAN “SEB” KATSAROS —
IG bio/info: @/s3bgl00m | 17.4k followers | i hate it here. i hate my username name too. Listen to my podcast wth my mate here...open.Spotify.com/podcast/?!.doomngloom
28 years of age
Born & raised in Liverpool, England...don’t ask if he’s met the Beatles he will completely ignore you if you do
Music shop owner in the heart of town
It’s called, “Kicking Kettles”
loves collecting vinyls, cassette tapes, & cds sorry, what did you expect?
His mother is a children’s illustrator
She’s Ashkenazi Jewish
His father is a graphic designer
And is from Nafplio, Greece
They’ve been separated for about a year now, with seb’s father living in France
His mother was skeptical on dating around while she was in a place of uncertainty in her marriage but with a deep discussion with her husband, then her children, she slowly went forward just to see what was out there & found that she wasn’t sure if she’d be open permanently with other beings
Seb was similar to his mother in many ways...
Has a older sister by 2 years named, Xenia...she’s very bossy, a busy-body, & is very vocal. The opposite of seb
she used to beat up guys just for them to turn around and ask her out on dates, a few of them tried to bully seb but Xenia was not having that ofc
very close to his family, even if things are a little off between mum & dad
I feel like he went through a buzzed hair phase & when he finally made the choice to start growing out his hair, going on 4-5 years now, everyone seemed to approve
Even if they didn’t? It be no matter, sure he’d feel a little awkward if someone he cared about didn’t like it but he was sure they would get over it OR get used to it
The hair only comes out when he’s showering or going to bed
His best friend who’s a barber (and a bit of a douche) tells him he’s got to let his hair breathe more often or he’ll have breakage, seb doesn’t think it’s that serious? He’s not sure how much longer he’ll keep the bun now anyways...
This same friend encouraged him to get a “Pompadour” haircut & seb’s never been so offended before in his life, “I wouldn’t want to look like the rest of you knob-heads.”
Anyways, he takes care of his hair the best way he knows how and it seems to work for him...some slightly expensive haircare products here and there & a trimmer & he’s good to go
When he first started growing his hair out, he felt like he needed to go to the salon to know how to manage it. After awhile he learned how to do it on his own + you save $ that way
uses his hands to talk or holds one hand in the other when having a conversation since he doesn’t know what to do with his hands exactly
He’s a chapstick kinda guy who always loses his before he can finish it (been there)
Absolutely loves Japanese food and eats it almost everyday
Japanese Mayo is the superior condiment, bill can stfu!!
probably watches anime
owns a bunch of vans, beanies, and hoodies
smokes hookah every now & then but isn’t too crazy about it
canon: catlover! I feel like he would have a Sphynx, Abyssinian, Ocicat, or oriental shorthair + was over the moon when his baby had babies !!!
He wanted to keep all 5 of the kittens but knew he probably couldn’t, at least not forever but he was going to wait until they were all at least a few months before he decided to put them up for adoption...which sucks but would ultimately be the best choice, maybe???
tried eyeliner again outside of the villa & finds pencil or pomade is better than the standard liquid liner
likes black nail polish but is slightly embarrassed to be seen out with it, it’s the same thing with the eyeliner...he’s not that confident
the guy is a huge blusher & he despises the fact that his face betrays him 80% of the time
often gets nosebleeds
loves red wine especially if it’s on a rainy day and he’s home to fully enjoy it, he feels like he’s on his grown man shit when he does so
I feel like he’d be a fan of the umbrella academy & thinks it’s way better than stranger things...him & nick have argued over this on doom n gloom!
Five is his favorite
Everything he owns is in either black, red, gray/grey, or green
His main phobia is emetophobia (fear of v*mit) & he won’t share why, that’s just what it is
Introvert!
Canon: he’s not a Aquarius
So wtf r ya? Nick & I would like to know plz
Virgo sun? + Taurus moon? + Pisces rising?
I feel like he’s one of those people that feels the need to bring a backpack with him everywhere and you can imagine it to be black ofc
“Who tf are you Linus? But with a backpack?” His sister often jokes (I do this with my sibs, both of them love carrying backpacks. Me on the other hand? I don’t have time for the shit)
He drives a shitty car from the 90s that’s Engine sounds as if it’s about to blow
but 100% perfers to drive his moped, Atticus around
played football (soccer) growing up to help get rid of his asthma
Cannot sleep with the tv on or any form of light around him, it has to be completely dark & quiet!
He’ll only do so if it’s with Genevieve since you know they’re trying this whole long distance thing out
Are one of those couples that will fall asleep on the phone/cpu together
Genevieve might be the, “no you hang up first” & seb will actually hang up the phone and get into bed lmao
Just for vieve to call back like?!! “I can’t believe you’ve done this!
“Well you said—
“Never mind what I said, sebz!!! It’s extremely rude...”
his last relationship before Genevieve lasted 6-8 months (there was a time when he felt like he was unsure if he was still in a couple with that person, isn’t that a shame?)
his love language is acts of service, he’ll do things for you to ease your worries out of love and not obligation so that you feel valued as his partner & I believe he wants this in return as well
I think he’s a bit of a worry wart too when it comes to certain things even if his exterior might show him trying to hide it
He was super nervous to get his first tattoo on his chest, “if words fail, music speaks” but he found that the slight pain was worth it? And quite nice! then he kept going back monthly and soon enough his arms were completely covered
mum hated it, her baby boy was becoming a man! (It’s not like he’s almost 30 but you know how moms are)
Deff has a collection of silver rings, he’s tried out necklaces but he thinks he looks better with his rings
The slit in his brow came from trying to squeeze thru the broken patio glass door with his sis as if it were some booby trap (not exactly, but a safety hazard forsure!) & a piece of glass fell from above slicing his brow and left him with 4 stitches
Secretly into watching those dating shows before and after experiencing it himself
people he enjoyed seeing on the Telly from previous seasons: jen, jake, talia, erikah, lottie, Noah, Carl, Kassam, Priya, & Hannah
AJ is his best girl friend (besides vieve) they FaceTime quite a bit & chat shit to each other on the daily
Feels like she fits in well with his friend group, which just contains his barber friend — they put up with his banter & give it right back to him but he can also be vulnerable & comfortable with those around him so that’s always a plus
It’s the same with nick, except they share a hobby together, their podcast & that’s what seb wants to keep it as, a hobby, for fun & giggles yet nick is thinking about getting paid for what they do. He thinks it’s a great idea whereas seb doesn’t want this to turn into a career/chore
He’s perfectly happy at kicking kettles
He feels strongly about his stance while nick is on both sides
They’ll figure it out, soon.
How are things outside of the villa & since the boat party? They all have a group chat that they randomly speak up in, in the beginning they would do morning and goodnight texts but that became tedious so they settled for either or. Or simply just checking in to see how each other’s days went with seb secretly being the most curious to everyone’s days
Things are awkward between him and Yasmin, he kinda avoids talking to her tbh & not because he doesn’t want to...its just yeah it’s not the same with him and aj where they can easily move forward, it feels like pulling teeth with Yasmin since they’re some what similar & it seems like she’s waiting on him to take the lead on fixing some imagined issue they have with each other? It’s weird idk
Lives in a cramped studio apartment, it works for him so he doesn’t need any inputs thank you
A Second Date
Clementine and Louis have a second date to continue getting to know each other better.
“I hate you,” she jested. “I love you too.” He smirked. “Even if you do have a weird thing for cowboys.” “Damn it, I do not! You’re never gonna let this go, are you?” “Absolutely not.”
~ AO3 ~ FF ~
Clementine grit her teeth and dug her nails into her bed sheet as a sharp pain shot up her leg. She raised her head slightly and looked to the foot of her bed where Ruby was busy dabbing the limb with a wet cloth to clean it. The redhead insisted on cleaning it every day until it scarred over. It was already a miracle that Clementine had survived the amputation; Ruby didn’t want to test their luck with an infection. She gave the other girl a sympathetic look.
“I’m sorry, hon. I know it sucks, but it’s gotta be done,” Ruby said, rubbing the injured girl’s other leg in a futile attempt to soothe her.
“I know,” Clementine grumbled, squeezing her eyes shut and resting her head back against her pillow. Of course she was grateful to Ruby for looking out for her, but God, did this suck.
It had been a little over a week since she returned home, and her recovery was going a lot more smoothly than anyone expected it would. The color had returned to her skin, and she was able to stay awake for the better part of most days. The pain was still overwhelming at times, but with the help of painkillers and emotional support from the other kids, she was able to push through it.
AJ had been particularly attentive-- not that that was at all surprising. He spent most of his time by her bedside when she was awake, keeping her spirits up and making sure that she had everything she needed. He wasn’t beside her today, however. This was the first day he had left the walls of the school since they came home. He had initially been reluctant to go too far away from her, as even though she was improving, he was still terrified that something would go wrong. He was still terrified that he’d lose her. But that morning, Clementine was finally able to convince him not to worry-- that she wasn’t going anywhere, so he hesitantly agreed to go hunting with Aasim and Louis.
When he headed out, leaving her alone in her room, part of her regretted telling him to go. Having him around kept her from thinking too hard about her condition. She tried her best to suppress it, but she couldn’t help the grief she felt over the loss of her leg. She knew that her disability would make life a lot harder from here on out; there were so many things she’d probably never be able to do again….
A light knocking at the door brought Clementine out of her thoughts. She propped herself up on an elbow and called out, “Come in.”
The door opened and Louis stepped in.
“Hey,” he greeted her with a grin and shut the door behind him.
“Hey, you.” She smiled affectionately at him then raised an eyebrow when she noticed that AJ wasn’t with him. “Where’s AJ?”
“He wanted to help Aasim get a rabbit ready for dinner,” he told her then glanced at Ruby, who was still busy tending to Clementine’s leg. “Uh, I can come back later if you want.”
“No, it’s ok.” She stared down at her leg and frowned before meeting his eyes again. “Honestly, I could use a little moral support.”
Louis mirrored her dejected expression and walked the short distance to her bed. He crouched down beside her and took her hand in his.
“I’m so sorry, Clem. I--”
“Hey, I said I need support, not a pity party,” she interrupted.
He dropped the rest of his sentence with an amused exhale and squeezed her hand. “Right. Sorry.”
“So… how was hunting?” Clementine asked, wanting to shift the conversation away from her plight.
“Pretty good. We caught a couple rabbits, and I showed AJ how to reset the traps.”
“That’s good.” She chuckled before adding, “Guess you’ve replaced me as his sidekick, huh?”
“Hey, he’s the sidekick,” Louis joked, earning another light laugh from the girl. Of course, the sight of her laughing brought a grin to his face, as it never failed to do.
Clementine looked lovingly at him for a moment before extending her arms to him for a hug, which he happily gave.
“Thanks,” she mumbled into his shoulder.
“For?”
“Just, y’know... being here. It helps.”
He pulled slightly out of her embrace and kissed the tip of her nose. “I’ll always be here.”
A soft giggle from the end of the bed caused the pair to separate. Ruby had finally finished cleaning the girl’s wound and was looking fondly at them. They both blushed and lowered their eyes; they had almost forgotten she was there….
“Y’all are too cute,” Ruby remarked, shaking her head. She noticed the redness on their faces and gave them a small reassuring smile. “You don’t have t’ be embarrassed. It’s real sweet how close you two have gotten.”
Ruby picked up a roll of bandages and turned her attention back to Clementine’s leg.
“I’m a lil’ jealous,” the redhead admitted, still looking down as she began to wrap the fresh gauze around the limb. “Not, y’know, of either of you specifically,” she quickly clarified. “Just of what y’all have, I guess.”
Ruby paused and looked back up to them. They were staring at her expectantly, apparently waiting for further explanation, so she continued:
“I used t’ read those sappy romance books the old English teacher kept in her desk and wish I could experience somethin’ like that,” she continued and smiled sadly at her hands. “I stopped a while ago, though, when I realized it wouldn’t ever happen.”
“Well, how do you know it won’t?” Clementine cut in gently.
“I dunno… Not a lotta people left... And I doubt any of ‘em would like me.”
Clementine was surprised to hear that she felt that way. Did she really not realize that Aasim had a massive crush on her? He wasn’t exactly very subtle about it….
“You don’t know that. Maybe somebody does,” the brunette hinted.
She looked to Louis, who had his hand over his mouth in an attempt to hide the huge knowing grin that spread across his face. He dropped his hand and opened his mouth to speak but was stopped short by a light tugging on his wrist. He glanced down to find Clementine gripping it then shifted his gaze to her face and gave her a questioning look. ‘Don’t,’ she mouthed, knowing exactly what he was planning to say. As much as she herself wanted to just tell Ruby about Aasim’s crush too, she knew that they shouldn’t. It wouldn’t be fair to either of them. Louis pouted but obeyed and stayed silent.
Ruby raised an eyebrow at their behavior but chose not to question it.
“I don’t think so,” she sighed as she tied off the fresh bandage on Clementine’s leg. “Well, think I’m all done here.” Ruby stood and wiped her hands on her pants. “Anything else I can get’cha?”
Clementine shook her head. “I’m ok. Thanks, Ruby.”
She gave a little nod in response and turned to leave the bedroom. Clementine and Louis watched as she exited the room and gently closed the door behind her. They stayed quiet for a moment, listening to the sound of her footsteps down the hall fade away.
“I can’t believe this,” Louis quickly broke the silence, shaking his head in incredulity.
“I know, right?” Clementine agreed. “She really has no idea.”
“I gotta tell her.” He turned to Clementine. “Come on, you shoulda let me tell her. This is too perfect.”
“No, he needs to tell her.”
“But he won’t, Clem. It’s been, like, a year.”
“Just... give it a little more time. He’s not very good at hiding it; she’s gonna find out eventually.”
Louis crossed his arms and quirked his brow at her, clearly unconvinced. Noticing his skepticism, the girl continued:
“What if someone else told you that I like you?” she asked. “Wouldn’t that have kinda ruined it?”
“Honestly, I would’ve just thought they were fucking with me.” He stared at the door and frowned, pausing to consider her point for a minute before sighing in defeat. “...I guess you’re right.”
“Of course. I’m always right.”
He smirked at her. “I’m still gonna keep harassing Aasim about it, though.”
Clementine snickered. “That’s fine; you should. Just don’t tell Ruby anything.”
“Deal.”
Louis looked down in thought for a second. He sat down on the bed beside her and awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. “So, um...anyways... I actually came in here for a reason,” he said.
“Oh? What’s that?”
“Well, y’know, I figured you must be bored laying in here all day, so I thought, ‘Hey, what better time for our second official date?’” He pulled his deck of cards out of his coat pocket, set it on the bed between them, and looked to her with a hint of anxiety on his face as he waited for a response.
She gave him a soft smile. “That’s a good idea. I am pretty bored.”
Louis smiled and let out a breath of relief, which Clementine took notice of.
“What? You thought I was gonna say no?” she asked as she sat up and rested her back against the wall.
“I mean, not really, but”-- he shrugged-- “you never know. Maybe, in the last thirty seconds, you realized you actually hate me.”
Clementine rolled her eyes. “No such luck,” she joked before focusing on the deck of cards sitting on the bed. “So, did you have a game in mind?” she asked the boy.
“Oh, uh, yeah. Y’know, I still don’t really know a lot about you, so I thought we could play the game we did the night you first got here. Remember? Highest card asks a question?”
“Yeah, I remember,” she confirmed. “Is War the only card game you know?”
“Of course not; it’s just the easiest. I know Golf, Spades, Cribbage, some that I made up...” As he listed off card games, Louis split the deck in half and handed half of the cards to Clementine. “I also know how to play Poker, but I hate it.”
“Why?”
“It’s boring.” He paused before mumbling, “And Violet always beats me.”
The girl chuckled. “Really?”
“Yeah. She’s impossible to read. I think she’s secretly a lizard-person,” he said, somehow keeping a completely straight face.
Clementine burst out laughing.
“Don’t tell her I said that,” Louis added, as he laughed along with her.
“Don’t worry; I won’t.” The girl’s smile faltered. “She… doesn’t really talk to me anyway.”
Not wanting to ruin the mood, Clementine quickly changed the subject. “So”-- she held up the stack of cards Louis had given her-- “are we gonna play?”
Louis nodded and gave the cards in his hand a quick shuffle. They each drew a card from their respective stacks and flipped it over; Clementine won with an eight of diamonds.
“You win,” Louis said. “What do you wanna know?”
Clementine looked up and thought for a second. She couldn’t think of anything particularly creative to ask, so she just asked the first question that came to her mind:
“What’s your favorite color?”
“Damn, we’re already starting with the real hard-hitting questions, huh?”
The girl smiled and rolled her eyes in response before looking back at him expectantly.
“It’s green,” he told her. “What’s yours?”
Clementine raised an eyebrow and smirked at him. “Hey, I thought only winners got to ask questions,” she teased.
“Ok, new rule then: losers can ask follow-up questions.”
“Fine,” she chuckled before answering, “Mine is pink.”
“No way. You’re lying.”
“What? What’s wrong with pink?”
“Nothing!” he laughed. “I just wasn’t expecting that. I thought you were gonna say something hardcore like black or blood red or something.” His expression softened. “That’s kinda cute-- that it’s just pink.”
The girl snorted, trying to hide the slight blush that crept onto her cheeks at his words. “If you say so.”
“Wait, what kind of pink, though? Hot pink?” Louis suddenly asked.
“Ew, no.” Clementine wrinkled her nose at the thought of that obnoxious color. “Just regular pink,” she specified.
“Ok, good,” he chuckled and took the card she had drawn out of her hand, stacking it with his and setting it to the side. He motioned for her to draw again for the second round. “After you.”
Clementine drew another card from her stack and flipped it over: six of spades. Louis followed and produced a three of hearts.
“I win again.” The girl smirked at him.
Louis shook his head and said flatly, “You’re cheating.”
She scoffed. “What? How do you even cheat at this game?”
“You stacked the deck.”
“It’s your deck!” she laughed.
“Alright, fair point… I got my eye on you, though.” He winked at her. “What’s your question?”
This time, she already had a question in mind. “Where are you from?” she asked. “Before you came here, I mean.”
Louis smiled and answered, “Baltimore.”
“That’s cool; that baseball guy I met was from there,” Clementine shared.
He raised his eyebrows. “No shit? What was his name?”
“Javier Garcia.”
“Wait, seriously? I’ve met him.”
Clementine’s eyes widened. “Really? When?”
“Yeah. Well, kinda. My grandparents used to take me to the baseball games in the city sometimes. He signed a ball for me. I think I still have it somewhere...” He shook his head and chuckled to himself. “I can’t believe you met Javier Garcia and didn’t tell me.”
She giggled at his enthusiasm then shrugged. “You never asked.”
“Alright, you gotta tell me everything now. How’d you meet him?”
“Well… I, uh…” Clementine sighed, slightly embarrassed of how she had acted back then. “I almost shot him; then, I tried to rob him.”
Louis snorted. “Really, Clem? I mean, I knew you were edgy, but damn.”
She rubbed the back of her neck and said sheepishly, “Yeah… I was going through some shit at the time… He was pretty cool about it, though.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah. He was a pretty cool guy in general,” she said and placed her card atop the other discarded ones. “He’s kinda like you-- little less dorky though.”
“Dorky!?” Louis clutched his chest and feigned offense.
“In a good way!” she quickly added with a laugh before switching focus to her stack of cards. She held them up and asked, “Round three?”
“‘Round three?’ You’re really gonna act like you didn’t just insult me like that?” He continued pretending to be offended as he drew another card. Before Clementine could respond or even draw a card herself, he blurted out, “I win.” and revealed that he had drawn an ace.
“Not necessarily,” she protested. “What if I get an ace too?”
“I’d be very shocked.”
Clementine picked the top card off her stack and lifted it up in front of her face so that he couldn’t see it. She smirked. “It’s an ace,” she told him.
Louis looked at her skeptically and peeked over the top of the card to see what it really was. “That’s a four, darling.”
The girl sighed and dropped the card. “Fine... I guess losers do deserve to win at least once.”
“Exactly,” he agreed before asking his question: “What’s your favorite kind of music?”
Clementine smiled; that was such a him thing to ask. She pursed her lips as she considered the question. Music hadn’t really been a part of her life like it had Louis’. When she and AJ were living on the road, they avoided it for the most part; it was unnecessary noise. She had probably heard more music in the past month at the school than in all her years on the road.
“Honestly, I don’t know. I never really had the chance to listen to much music before I came here,” she admitted. “Sometimes me and AJ would listen to some rock CD in the car; I guess that was pretty cool.”
“Rock? That makes sense.”
Clementine shrugged and moved to draw another card, but Louis interrupted her:
“Wait, you’re not gonna ask what mine is?”
“I already know what yours is.” She smirked at him. “It’s obviously super girly pop music.”
“Ah, shit! How’d you know!?” he joked.
“Gut feeling,” she joked back as she grabbed the next card off her stack.
She drew a Jack, beating Louis’ draw of a nine.
“Yes!” Clementine pumped her fist in celebration of her victory. “I have a good one this time.”
“Oh boy,” Louis said, slightly worried. “What is it?”
“What’s your biggest irrational fear?” she asked.
He eyed her suspiciously. “Um, you’re not trying to get ammunition to use against me are you?”
“No!” she laughed. “I’m just curious.”
“Ok...” Louis sighed before answering, “I’m terrified of wasps.”
“Wasps?”
“Yeah. I hate them. A couple years back we found a wasps’ nest under the lookout tower. I wouldn’t go outside for a week.”
“Are you allergic to them or something?” the girl asked.
“No, they’re just… fucking demonic, y’know?” he replied as an involuntary shiver ran down his spine at the thought of the wretched insects.
Clementine giggled. “Yeah, I guess they kinda are.”
“I’m glad you understand,” he chuckled then raised an eyebrow at her. “So, what’s your irrational fear, then?”
“Oh, I’m not scared of anything,” she responded matter-of-factly.
“Everyone’s scared of something.”
“Not me.”
Louis pouted. “Come on, I told you mine.”
She stared into his pleading eyes for a moment before groaning and giving in. “I guess I’m kinda creeped out by mirrors,” she confessed.
“What? Mirrors? How could someone as pretty as you hate mirrors?”
“Ha ha,” she replied sarcastically before explaining, “They give me a weird feeling... like they’re watching me or something.” She shuddered. “I don’t know how to explain it; they’re just creepy.”
The boy gave her an amused look. “Not gonna lie, that’s… a pretty weird fear. Was not expecting that,” he said.
“Hey, don’t judge me.”
“I wasn’t.” He held up his hands. “There’s nothing wrong with you being scared of mirrors. In fact, if you want, I’ll go smash every mirror in the school for you right now.”
Clementine snickered. “I think I’ll be alright.”
“Ok, if you say so.” Louis picked up his stack of cards, preparing to draw for the next round, but before he did, he added, “If you ever change your mind, though, lemme know. I will do it.”
“I’ll let you know,” she promised.
The pair each drew another card, and this time, Louis won with a seven of clubs. He held his card up to his lips as he considered whether or not he really wanted to ask the question he had in mind. Clementine cleared her throat and raised her wrist as if she were checking an imaginary watch, teasing the boy for taking so long to ask his question. So he decided to just go for it:
“Alright, I gotta ask… And I’m not judging, ok? But...” Louis reached over her and picked up a book that had been laying on the opposite side of her bed. He held it up in front of her and asked,“What the fuck is this?”
“Oh God.” Clementine could feel her face begin to burn when she saw the cover. It was one of those cringeworthy western romance novels with a shirtless man in a cowboy hat on the front. The terrible thing was mixed in with a stack of a few books that Ruby had given her a couple days prior. The girl tried to explain herself:
“It’s a book Ruby brought me to read when I get bored. She gave me a few different books, and-- and I already read all the others. So y’know, I thought reading it would at least be better than staring at the ceiling. I--It’s super dumb. I swear I’m only reading it to laugh at it.
Louis smirked at her babbling. “Right. Sure.”
“I promise!” Clementine really wasn’t lying. The book was horrible-- probably the worst thing she had ever read in her life. It was almost impressive how bad it was, and that made it hilarious to her. But of course, Louis wasn’t going to let her off that easy.
“So what’s it about, then?” he asked as he scanned the pages, stopping when his eye caught a particularly cringeworthy passage. He smirked at the girl beside him and began to dramatically recite it:
Annabelle watched with wide eyes as he dismounted the horse, his bare six-pack glistening in the afternoon sun. God, he was sooo hot. He took off his cowboy hat and ran his fingers through his hair before turning to her and smiling. “Howdy, baby. I have come back for you,” he said in his deep, sultry voice.
Clementine lied back and buried her burning face into her hands. “Please stop,” she laughed. Of course, he ignored her and continued reading:
“Oh, Bill. I knew you would.” She ran into his arms and kissed him passionately. He tightened his hold on her and pulled her to the ground with him. He tenderly stroked her--
Louis cringed. “Oof, that’s a little inappropriate,” he mumbled to himself and quickly flipped a few pages ahead until he found a different section to read. “Here we go.”
Luckily for Clementine, before he could start reading whatever awful new passage he found, the dorm door opened and someone stepped inside. Louis lowered the book and turned around to see who it was. He smiled when he saw that it was AJ.
“Hey, little dude!”
“Hi,” AJ greeted the older boy then raised an eyebrow when he caught sight of Clementine lying back with her hands covering her beet-red face. “Uh, what are you doing?”
“I’m just reading Clem her favorite book,” Louis replied nonchalantly.
“It’s not my favorite book! I hate it!” the girl blurted out.
“Oh, stop lying, Clem. Your secret’s out; you might as well own it.”
“I hate you,” she jested.
“I love you too.” He smirked. “Even if you do have a weird thing for cowboys.”
“Damn it, I do not! You’re never gonna let this go, are you?”
“Absolutely not,” he laughed, planting a quick kiss on her cheek.
“Lou, I swear to God when I get out of this bed...” Clementine playfully threatened.
“I’ll go into hiding,” he chuckled and stared down at the book in his hands. Something suddenly occurred to him. “Wait, so Ruby gave this to you?”
Clementine nodded. “She did.”
“I wonder if this is one of those sappy books she was talking about.” He mindlessly flipped through the pages then slipped the novel into an inner pocket of his coat and flashed her a sly grin. “I’m gonna show it to Aasim-- tell him to take notes and act it out for her.”
“Great idea,” she snorted. “You can torment him instead.”
“He is pretty fun to torment.” He grinned mischievously then glanced at the door. “...I’ll be back.”
Clementine watched as Louis stood and rushed out of the dorm room, his coat flapping behind him. She chuckled to herself as she heard him running down the hall. She loved that idiot.
“...I don’t get it,” AJ suddenly said. “What just happened?”
“Don’t worry about it, kiddo,” Clementine chuckled. “He's just being a dork.”
Why do I like Pro Wrestling?
Even though I’ve put a few posts up on the page already I wanted to introduce myself a little and break down why I’m doing this and give a bit of history about me and why I like pro wrestling.
My name is Kyle, I’m 33 from South Wales, I am married with 2 children. I first started watching wrestling when I was about 7 which I will go into as we go through the post. I started this blog for 2 reasons.
1. I love stories about pro-wrestling and wrestling itself.
2. I am starting a creative writing course and want to keep on top of writing so that I am comfortable with writing as I haven’t done it since I was in school.
Now, there are a million stories from Pro Wrestling that you’ve heard from the Benoit Murders to The Montreal Screwjob to The Plane Ride from Hell, but I have an interest in writing about the stories that people are maybe not as aware of that still involve some of the biggest names in Wrestling history.
Nowadays, we can be thankful as wrestling fans that we have a multitude of ways that we could watch wrestling thanks to the rise of streaming sites, Youtube and online stores which you can buy DVD’s or digital copies of your favourite events. Being a child of the 90’s, you would stumble across wrestling almost out of nowhere. I remember being in my grandparents’ house maybe aged 5 or 6. I never had satellite or cable TV growing up, only terrestrial, and coming in one morning and seeing Hulk Hogan on the TV in my grandparents’ house really caught my attention. I couldn’t tell you what show it was or who else was on it, but I remember as I watched Hogan, waving his arms to the crowd and cupping his ears to the Hulkamaniacs as he did throughout his career, that I held a curiosity toward wrestling and did ever since.
I can then remember a few years later one of my best friends growing up had a video at home which on the cover, a man would be fighting himself! Undertaker vs Undertaker. Back then, it was the most amazing thing possible, the mystery of how a wrestler could square off against himself in the ring was unimaginable for a then 7–8-year-old. Of course, that event being Summerslam 94 would not be the great event you look back on, but you appreciate the spectacle of it. I do look back fondly on that VHS and as I watch the event back, the standout match-up is clearly the Owen Hart vs Bret Hart Steel cage match, but it’s not the type of thing you value as a child.
You value spectacle. You value entertainment. At least I did anyway. You treat it the same way you treat a cartoon or movie, you suspend your disbelief for a few moments and take in the pageantry of it all. Some people class Wrestling as 3rd hand entertainment, and I have had many occasions where people have made jokes of the fact I watch wrestling, to the point where I would not even mention it if asked.
But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to not care and be happy with the fact I like it so much. It’s not a guilty pleasure, It’s just a pleasure. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve also embraced less of the spectacle side of it I once did and look at the athletic feats that take place in the ring, focusing on the technique that these men have to make it look as dangerous as possible, all the while keeping their opponent safe. I do still appreciate the entertainment value, but I definitely look at things like the work rate of the competitors and what they are capable of.
During my teens, we used to travel to video store not too far away from us in a town called Bargoed. Global Video was one of the first places to stock ECW VHS cassettes. My friends Daniel, Josh and I would go there, pick out a few VHS and go back to Josh’s room to watch them. One of the first ones I can remember watching was Living Dangerously 1999. For its time, the pacing and the layout of the matches were a perfect fit for that show. I remember thoroughly enjoying Tajiri vs Super Crazy, Sid and Spike Dudley vs The Dudley Boyz and also New Jack vs Mustafa which was enough violence for a teenage to endure at that point.
The one match from that event which today I place in my top 10 matches ever is Rob Van Dam vs Jerry Lynn for the TV Title. Watching the opening exchange between the two men figure each other out, reversals of pins, hammerlocks and wristlocks was fantastic and when they separated and looked at each other, it was rapturous. The crowd ate it up. You could tell something special was taking place. As the match continued, I saw things that I never would have seen on WWF during that time realistically speaking. There was a reason the E stood for Extreme in ECW. They always took things to the next level, and while the TV Title was far from being the most brutal match on the card (in part due to New Jack!) it was creative in the way it structured the use of weapons, tablet spots and fighting outside the ring. When the bell rings at the end for a timer limit draw, as a first-time viewer you feel almost cheated, not by the quality of the match but by the fact it could have gone on for another 30 mins. When Jerry Lynn requests 5 more minutes and is granted it, you think you are in for a Jerry Lynn victory but RVD pulls it out of the bag at the end hitting the 5-star Frog Splash. And great ending to a great match.
Throughout this time the Attitude era was in full affect. WWF had a huge roster of stars that any company would have been proud to have, Stone-Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle. It was a pleasure to watch some of these events. My friend Michael would record Raw and later Smackdown and let us borrow the tapes so we could get our fix. In January 2000, Channel 4 had gotten a deal to show a few WWF Pay-per-views for free starting with the Royal Rumble. I stayed at Daniel’s house and we watched it live on a small TV. We were extra excited that Taz showed up on the event to face Kurt Angle with an extra ‘Z’ in his name, especially after find ECW a few months previous. Add to that the shock factor of Mae Young’s striptease, the Rumble result, the street fight between Cactus Jack and Triple H, the tables match between the Dudleys and Hardys, it was a phenomenal show.
With the events now being on Channel 4, I would look eagerly on internet forums during school hours trying to find out which ones were next. I remember staying up and watching Backlash 2000 and Fully Loaded of that year, also recording them to go back and watch and study the matches. I would cover the back of the VHS case with white stickers and write the match card on the back in order, so I knew where to find my favourites. They also stared showing Sunday Night Heat as well, which I later years would also have an RVD vs Jerry Lynn match up but not at the same quality as the ECW Event the years previous. These events on Channel 4 ended with the Invasion PPV in 2001 after WWE bought WCW and ECW acquiring many, but not all of their top stars.
Tying this in with Video games like WWF Attitude, Smackdown, WCW/NWO Revenge, WCW Mayhem it helped nurture my love for it even more especially WWE Smackdown 2: Know Your Role because you can create your own shows, wrestlers and storylines. We would have nights playing the game having Royal Rumbles and tournaments, finding how to create wrestlers from online forums like CAWs.ws.
My friend Daniel got the internet at home and we would spend hours searching Kazaa for wrestling videos we couldn’t find on VHS, in-between searching for Create-a-Wrestler guides for Smackdown games. They would usually be the Music Video highlight reels of matches we would want to see. Being early 2000’s it was usually set to Creed, Godsmack or Limp Bizkit but it would be things like Sabu vs RVD in a stretcher match, seeing Goldberg jackhammer The Giant/Big Show, and whatever we could find of these old matches you would read about in Power Slam magazine like the Exploding Barb Wire matches involving Mick Foley, Terry Funk and Onita.
A few years later, with the introduction of freeview satellite there was now more channels in homes than before and one of those was The Wrestling Channel. I turned it to this station thinking it would be WWE but was amazed to see companies more similar to ECW. US Promotions Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling, TNA/NWA and a few smaller based promotions were present as well as a mix of local British talent. It was on this channel that I first saw a match that involved light tubes, obviously CZW. Although not my favourite style, death matches certainly have a car crash factor to them. You know something gruesome is going to happen, but you can’t look away. But on the opposite of that, with ROH you got to see unbelievable work rate wrestling with the likes of CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson and Low Ki and with TNA similar talents but with more professional looking, AJ Styles, Teddy Hart and Jeff Jarrett being stars that shone there.
Getting to see high flying stars like Amazing Red, Jack Evans, Teddy Hart, AJ Styles was enthralling. It was a side of pro wrestling you never saw on the more methodical WWE and I would watch whenever possible but still getting my WWE fix via VHS recordings Michael would lend us, especially as some of our favourites from ECW and WCW were now competing there.
From around 2006, I began to wane off watching Wrestling as often. I was playing in a band and focusing on that was well as starting a relationship with my now wife. My band mates Lloyd and Ryan were into Wrestling, so I used to and still do talk to them about it now and then. We used to go to local wrestling shows in Merthyr Tydfil for Celtic Wrestling. Back then, they were just Joe Nobodies wrestling in a bar, but as I look back over many of the people on that show, they have foundations on Wrestling all over the world.
A list of some of the names I got to see in Merthyr Tydfil; Sheamus – Now WWE, Steve Corino – ECW Legend, Zack Sabre Jr – Current New Japan star, Tracy Smothers – Wrestling Journeyman passed away in 2020. I remember seeing Tracy Smothers and I was a fan from ECW when he was with FBI and he was great and a nice guy after the show too. The fact that someone who was wrestled for WWE, ECW and WCW was in Merthyr wrestling, to me was mind-blowing!
A few months later I found out they were doing Wrestling training at The Studio Bar in Merthyr in around 2008 (could be way off), so I went along. I didn’t tell anyone, I got dressed in football gear and told my girlfriend Sara I was off to play football. Instead, I went into this bar and rolled around on some mats for beginner lessons on a Wednesday learning basic holds and how to bump. I really enjoyed it and it was better than bumping on the grass like I used to do as a kid in my local park. I went twice in all, as much as I wanted to go back and keep going, I was thinking that playing music would be easier to justify to someone than saying you were a wrestler so that was that.
I always kept an eye on wrestling but not as intently as I did before, maybe it was my way of disconnecting from wanting to do it as much as I did. I would watch the odd Raw or Smackdown and just buy the Big 4 Pay-per-Views and this went on for close on 8 years, just dipping in and out casually but still knowing who was in the business and doing things else were. We still had TNA in the UK so getting to see that was great, especially with the talent they had there for a while.
It wasn’t until 2016 I started to get back into wrestling as much as I do now. AJ Styles had finally joined WWE after seeming he would never appear there and that interested me because AJ is probably one of my favourites of all time. Twitter was blowing up because of a match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet in the Best of Super Juniors during that year. Seeing mostly positive comments and the odd one or two negative comments from old school wrestlers. So, I clicked on a then Youtube video of the match and it was such a great match. I felt the buzz straight away and immediately started to get the itch back for watching wrestling again.
I had no experience of much Japanese wrestling, but I always enjoyed reading in magazines about people like Jyushin Thuder Liger and The Great Muta and seeing their matches on WCW years ago, as well as people like Taka Michinoku and Tajiri but the Ospreay-Ricochet match convinced me to sign up to NJPW World. That summer I followed the G1 closely. Bullet Club madness was in full effect, seeing the iconic t-shirts and the way they were in the ring were similar to NWO, almost too much to a fault. I didn’t really know any of the performers in the tournament but after watching matches, would go back through the New Japan archives and watch the matches of Okada, Tanahashi, Naito, Shibata and the others, getting to know their styles and gimmicks.
One that immediately jumped out to me was Kenny Omega. He was one of 4 non-Japanese wrestlers (Gaijin) in the whole tournament. I learned that he had turned on AJ Styles and took over as leader of Bullet Club. I went back and watched AJ’s final matches against Nakamura at Wrestle Kingdom 10, and then the tag match the following night between AJ and Kenny vs Nakamura and Yoshi-Hashi. I followed Kenny closely over the G1 and into the finals against Hirooki Goto which was an absolutely brilliant match. Omega ended up winning, going onto Wrestle Kingdom 11 to face Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. I checked my work diary to see if I had work that day, and I was off! Due to the time differences, I was able to catch some of the pre-show in the morning, drop my oldest daughter off to school and come back in time for the Naito-Tanahashi and Omega-Okada matches.
I got back and watched the Naito-Tanahashi match, a really fantastic match to which I remember saying to myself ‘the main event is going to need to be special to top that’. Cue watching my personal favourite match of all time. The pacing and the psychology of the match were so well done, Omega targeting Okada’s back ready for the One-Winged Angel but never getting to hit it through the match. The springboard moonsault to the outside over the guard rails, the Tope Con Hilo over the top which still holds one of the iconic images of the match as a whole, Okada’s resilience as a champion, back dropping Omega over the top rope to the outside through a table. It was and is incredible, debatably one of the greatest matches of all time. Not just in my opinion but for many others as well. And so, I was back in. From that point onwards, I was an ardent fan once again. I would use the archives of WWE Network, NJPW World, Youtube, Highspots Wrestling Network to feed my addiction, following twitter pages which is just GIF after GIF of just the craziest moves.
I would try and watch as many of the live shows in Japan as possible to watch Omega perform and throughout 2017, even though it probably could have been savoured a bit more, we got to see 2 more amazing Omega-Okada matches at both Dominion and G1 and also a lead to Omega-Jericho for WK12. Both my current favourite and my all-time favourite meeting for the first time for a great match. From a Kenny standard it was not as good as some of his previous but for Jericho it was probably one of his best even compared against some of his classics against the likes of Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit.
In the Summer of 2018, I watched the Dominion show where again Kenny Omega went up against Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight championship. It was a 2 out of 3 falls match with no time limit. I couldn’t get the time off work for the event so I managed to smuggle my phone into work and would watch intently while selling mobile phones. It was another amazing match up, but I had to watch it over again after finishing work so that I could experience with sound, but even on silent, you could feel how brilliant the match was and Kenny finally defeated Okada for the title. Even though Kenny won it, I much preferred him fighting from beneath, almost as if achieving the pinnacle of wrestling was never going to happen. Even though he had a good handful of matches as champion, the ensuing AEW venture obviously scrapped any possibility of a long-term reign. Also disappointing to see New Japan miss a trick by letting Ibushi win the G1 and then the title from Kenny at WK13, instead vying for Tanahashi who, for as great a performer as he is, was not in his prime and the story between Ibushi-Omega would have been concluded or at least cliffhung until a later date. That aside, the show killed. It was amazing, but you could see the writing was on the wall in terms of Omega, the Young Bucks, Adam Page leaving to start AEW in 2019.
That kind of takes it up to current day, or at least as close to it as possible. It was possibly a long-winded diatribe of saying ‘Yeah, I like Wrestling’ but I hope it helps people to understand what drives me to write about it, why I enjoy watching this often joked about form of entertainment and why I think people could probably appreciate it more.
My messages are open if anyone wants to ask me any questions about wrestling or share stories about your own experiences, favourite matches or even stories that you would like me to cover, and I will try and find something to contribute to the page if possible.
Please read through the posts, like and share if you enjoy and leave comments if you wish to appreciate, critique or contribute towards the stories if you know anything I may have missed out.
Thanks!
+++++++++ Waterpark day turned stormy weather
(temp is 110 Fahrenheit, 43.3 Celsius)
Song: no better by lorde
As much as I hated to admit it I was kind of glad to be back, deep, in the Midwest for a day or two. It happened to be the hottest day of summer and we also just happened to be going to a water park for the day. I was beyond excited. I hadn't been to a water park since moving to wilkes barre and that was years ago. When the bus pulled into the parking lot I was practically running to get inside the park, swim suit and towel in hand. The guys just didn't understand. As soon as I hit the ground outside the bus I was already sweaty, I could tell they all were too. but it was almost worth it.
"Come on guys, don't look so disappointed."
I joked, Vinny raising his hand to cover his eyes from the sun.
"I get you're excited but Did we have to do this on a 110° day though?"
I shook my head at him, walking backwards through the parking lot.
"Just wait, as soon as we get in and changed we'll be cool in no time."
Ricky smiled at me.
"Let's hope you're right."
I nodded.
"That's the spirit!"
When we got to the gate we each got a ticket and walked through the turnstiles. The locker rooms were right inside and I turned to look at them all as they followed me in.
"Wanna get changed and meet here or are we doing this separately today?"
I asked, looking between them all. A few shrugged.
"Whatever works, I'm sure we all probably wanna do different things. As long as we are back here by five to go we'll be good."
I nodded.
"Got it, well then I guess I'll see some of you around. I'm gonna go change. If anyone wants to mat-race meet me here after you've got your suit on."
I said with a wink.
"You're on."
Justin said, Chris nodding in agreement.
"Oh yeah, I'd like to get in on that action. Both of you are going down."
he said a little cocky. A few of the other guys just shook their heads and walked into the locker room. I did the same on the other side of the building, getting changed and rinsed quickly so I could get this day started. When I walked back out, towel in hand I frowned.
"Why the long face?"
Ryan asked, coming up beside me, making me jump.
"Jesus ry, kill a girl why don't'cha."
He laughed at me, leaning against the concrete wall behind us.
"Just making life a little more interesting."
I sent him a look before looking to the sky. A breeze was starting to pick up and I was a little concerned. When Chris came out he noticed something wrong immediately, looking to the sky too. He nudged me
"Hey y/n, how's the weather?"
He asked, looking to me to see if that's what was wrong. I sent him a smirk.
"Aren't we supposed to ask you that? You're the tall one after all."
He sent me a look as Justin came out to join us. I watched as he tossed his beach towel over his shoulders.
"You know what I meant. You always say you know when it's gonna rain."
I looked back to the sky, and inhaled deeply.
"yes, yes I can."
He looked at me expectantly.
"Was it supposed to rain today?"
A few of the others shrugged, so did I.
"I don't think so but I Give it two hours."
I said looking around at the team. They all nodded.
"Let's get to it then."
°°°°°°°°°
Damn I hated being right. I mean, don't get me wrong, it had its perks but still. I wish this one time I would've been wrong. No sooner than we had entered the lazy river the sky just opened up. It had begun pouring down rain with little to no remorse. It would've been fine had there not been lightning. Damn the lightning. All the lifeguards were rushing people out of the water, Chris taking my hand so he wouldn't lose me in the crowd and pulling me to the side walk. When we were under the canopy of the food shack he started to laugh. I looked at him like he was crazy.
"What's so funny?"
I asked and he shook his head.
"How often do we get a day off and it actually go as planned?"
I couldn't help laughing at the revelation too. He was right though.
"I wish it were more often than it is."
I confirmed with him and he nodded.
"You and me both."
I shook my head.
"Do you think we should find the rest of the guys?"
I asked and he shrugged.
"It's not even three yet, do you think they'd be ready to leave already?"
I frowned and thought for a second.
"I'm honestly not sure."
He looked up for a second and I followed his gaze. Across the concrete slab was Ryan and aj standing under a beach umbrella, laughing with each other. Well I guess that sort of answered that question.
"they look like theyre gonna wait it out."
i said, laughing a little to myself, chris' gaze following my own.
"i guess youre right."
i looked up to him and drew my brows as i saw him look around, then he turned and left me.
"chris?"
i asked, following him to the food counter.
"would any of you happen to know how long this is supposed to last?"
he asked and the girl working the counter shrugged, looking to the other girl behind her.
"weatherman says it could get worse, it is tornado season after all. there isnt an official watch yet but that could change."
he nodded slowly.
"thanks."
he said, tapping the counter and turning to me with a wide smile across his face.
"dont give me that look."
i said. i knew exactly what he was thinking.
"oh come on, we could get everyone on the bus and go to the movies or something."
i couldnt help laughing a little at him.
"we were supposed to have a fun waterpark day."
i said as we made our way back over to the canopy.
"and we did, but the weather said its over."
i sighed, looking back over to where ryan and aj were and watching them approach us. i looked back to chris.
"fine, but only because they dont think its gonna get better any time soon."
he fist pumped the air.
"yes!"
"whats so exciting?"
aj asked, shaking his hair out like a dog as they joined us under the canopy. it was still pouring and was getting harder to hear over the rain hitting the roof.
"they said its not gonna stop any time soon, so what do you guys think of heading back to the bus and going to the movies or something?"
chris asked expectantly and they both shrugged, side nodding at the suggestion.
"do you think the other guys would be down with that?"
ryan asked. chris looked very hopeful, he didnt want to be here in the first place so going somewhere dry, dark, and requiring you to be fully clothed was definitely on his agenda.
"a guy can hope."
he said, elated.
"only one way to find out though. lets see if we can find the rest of them or at least head back to the locker rooms. if anything its a storm shelter so we'll be safe there either way."
the three of them nodded and we headed that way, each of us squinting and blinking quickly as the rush of rain came over us. when we hit the front of the park again the rest of the crew were there under the rooftop of the building, talking amongst themselves.
"look, guess we got lucky today after all."
i said as we reached them. vinny frowned at me.
"hey y/n, sorry about the weather but i guess you cant always win a day off huh."
i laughed a little bit.
"hey i got my two hours to shine, but there is a certain someone in our group that was wondering if, since this isnt supposed to let up anytime soon, if you guys wanted to load up and go see a movie or something nearby."
they all looked to chris as he nodded frantically.
"thoughts?"
he asked excited and a few of them laughed.
"i think we could swing that."
logan said, chris looking to me with a wide smile on his face.
"great, lets get changed then and get out of here."
he said, making us all laugh again, watching him walk into the locker room. i shook my head.
"so its settled then. ill go get changed and meet you guys back out here to leave."
they all nodded.
"i guess that means we have to agree on a movie now."
rick said in defeat and i couldnt help laughing to myself.
"doesnt it always?"
i said, sending him a look as i walked backwards to the door. he shook his head, smiling at me.
"of course it does."
A Change of Scenery: A Family
Pairing: Dad!Angel Reyes x Mom Black!Reader (but anyone can read)
Summary: Reader and Angel spend time with AJ and Imani separately and they have a surprise for Angel and Reader that brings them all closer. Reader gets tired of Angel dropping hints and takes matters into her own hands.
Warning: fluff, smut, talks of pregnancy, and hints of a breeding kink... actually, no hints, just straight up breeding kink
Word Count: < 2,200
A/N: This is a continuation of this fic, you might want to read that one first before this one. It’s not edited or anything, i’ll fix any mistakes at a later date. I hope you all like it!
✨I don’t give anyone permission to copy/translate/repost/rewrite my work. Minors, DNI at all. ✨
Your relationship with Angel had been going well. Nights spent at his house turned into days at his which turned into weeks at his house. Before long, the four of you were officially living together. You were listed as his and AJ’s emergency contact, and he was listed as yours and Imani’s.
A key part of your relationship was making sure you each spent time with each other’s child, making sure they knew that you both loved them.
Imani instantly took to Angel and loved spending time with him. They would have Angel and Imani time every week while you and AJ had your time together.
On this particular day with AJ, he wanted to take you to lunch. You chuckled at the idea that he wanted to take you out, but you went along with it.
On your date with AJ, he ‘took’ you to your favorite restaurant, and he even pulled out your chair (but you had to get back up to help him into his but you didn’t mind.). While you waited for your food, you and AJ talked. He told you all about daycare and how he couldn’t wait to go to ‘real’ school.
“Y/n, thank you,” he said.
You were confused. “Why are you thanking me, sweetheart?”
“For loving my daddy and me,” he said just before your food came and your heart swelled. You didn’t know what to say to him, so you just smiled. You didn’t know what your and Imani’s lives would be like without your two men, and you didn’t want to find out.
You two ate, and after when you reached for your wallet to pay, AJ pulled out some money.
“Daddy says a man always pays for a date,” AJ said, making you laugh. He looked at the bills with a confused look on his face. “Can you help me?”
“Of course, sweetie,” you smiled and helped him count the right amount of money.
The two of you beat Angel and Imani home and you decided to watch a movie while you waited for them. You and AJ were cuddled up on the couch and AJ was knocked out when Angel came in carrying Imani. From the smile on his face, you knew they’d had a good time.
The two of you carefully carried the two sleeping children into their bedroom before heading straight to yours.
Angel watched from the bed as you did your nightly routine. He smiled as you walked back into the room searching for your bonnet. When you found it, he flipped back the covers and pulled you into his arms.
You two laid together in silence before Angel spoke.
“You know what Imani told me today?” He said before placing a kiss on your forehead.
“Hmmm?”
“She said that she loved me and that she hopes that I stay forever.”
With your head on his chest, you could hear his heartbeat increase and you smiled before snuggling in closer to him.
“And what did you say back?” You asked and threaded your fingers within his.
He smiled and brought your hand up to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on your knuckles. “I told her that I loved her too and that I’d stay as long as the two of you want me to.”
You hummed. “AJ said something similar, well, actually he thanked me for loving the two of you.”
Angel chuckled, “We’ve got some amazing kids, huh?”
“Yeah, we do,” you sighed.
A few days later, you had a day off of work but Angel had a shift at the scrapyard. You decided to keep AJ and Imani home from daycare and they were playing in their room. You were doing laundry when you walked by their room and heard them talking.
“Mommy likes this color, Imani, right?” You heard AJ say.
“It’s her favorite,” Imani replied. “Does this look like Daddy’s m’cycle? I want him to like it.”
You backed away with tears in your eyes. You had never heard AJ refer to you as ‘Mommy’ or any variation before, and Imani had always said ‘Mr. Angel’ when referring to Angel.
Your first instinct was to call Angel, but you stopped. Clearly, they were planning on surprising you two with their pictures, and you wanted Angel to be surprised.
You were on cloud nine for the rest of the day thinking about your two loves.
When Angel came home later that day, you were radiating with joy. The smile on your face was contagious.
“What’s got you so happy, mama?” He asked as he greeted you with a kiss.
“Oh, nothing, just happy to see my man, that’s all,” you didn’t want to spoil the surprise for him.
When the two kiddos heard Angel’s laugh, they came running out of their room and straight into his arms.
“Daddy!” AJ yelled.
Angel gave each kid a kiss on their head as he hugged them. He sat down on the floor as they talked about their day at the same time, each one finishing each other’s sentence while they talked.
You smiled and made your way back into the kitchen and ordered some pizza for dinner. Angel walked in behind you and wrapped his arms around you as you ordered. When you finished, you turned around in his arms and gave him a proper kiss.
Before you lost yourself in him, you pulled away and smiled.
“Where are the kids?” You asked as Angel swayed you from side to side.
“In their room, they said they had something to show us,” Angel replied. He moved to give you another kiss, but you laughed and shook your head promising to take care of him later. Angel slapped your ass telling you that you better before you headed back into the living room.
You snuggled up to Angel and waited for the kids to come out of their room. You could hear them whispering to each other around the corner and even though you couldn’t make out what they were saying, you knew what they were about to do.
When they finally made their entrance, Imani stood in front of Angel and AJ stood in front of you. They both had their hands behind their backs and by the looks on their faces, they were nervous.
“What ya got behind your back, princesa?” Angel asked Imani.
She looked to AJ who nodded his head and they both handed you and Angel a piece of paper.
The picture that AJ handed you was a picture of all four of you standing next to your house and your eyes instantly filled with tears.
“I made you this picture, mommy,” AJ whispered and your heart stuttered.
Even though you’d heard him refer to you as ‘mommy’ earlier, you still weren’t prepared.
You pulled AJ into a hug and peppered kisses all over his face. You saw Angel smiling from the corner of your eye.
He looked at Imani as she held out her picture to him.
“Daddy, I drew your m’cycle,” Imani said.
Angel chuckled at her pronunciation of the word. No matter how many times you tried, she couldn’t get the whole word out.
Angel pulled Imani into his arms, “I’m speechless, mija. I absolutely love it.” The four of you sat together while Imani and AJ talked about their drawings.
You never felt so much love in one room as you did at that moment.
As the months went on, your little family became closer. Angel had begun hinting that he was ready for another child but he never came out and said anything. If you were being honest with yourself, you were ready to have his child the moment you met him.
You’d finally had enough of Angel dropping hints, so you called up EZ asking if he wanted to spend the weekend with his favorite niece and nephew.
“They’re my only niece and nephew, Y/n,” he chuckled into the phone, “but I’ll definitely take them for the weekend.”
It was a gamble asking EZ to take the kids for the whole weekend, but he assured you that if the club needed him that he would drop them off at Felipe’s.
Once you had their overnight bags packed and dropped them off at EZ’s, you set your plan into motion.
You put on some music and took a shower before rubbing shea butter into your skin. You knew how much Angel loved the scent of shea butter. Every time you wore it, he would be all over you. Once you were done, you headed to your dresser and pulled out a pair of lingerie that you knew would drive Angel crazy.
When you were done getting dressed, you heard the rumble of Angels bike and you covered yourself in a sheer robe before walking towards the front door. You heard him come into the house just as you turned the corner and the stunned look on his face was well worth it.
Angel dropped his keys and slammed the door closed with his foot.
“What’s all this for, mi dulce?” He asked before licking his lips.
You smiled and took a step closer to him. “I've been thinking,” you said as you continued your approach. Angel pulled you flush to him when you were in arms reach, his arms roamed your body and squeezed your sides as you spoke. “Since the kids will both be in kindergarten soon, the house is going to be pretty quiet.”
“Mmhmm, go on,” Angel urged as he lifted you into his arms, your legs instantly wrapped around his waist. He kissed along the column of your neck as he began walking towards your bedroom. When you moaned instead of continuing what you were saying, he stopped his ministrations and pressed your back into the wall.
“Angel,” you begged. You could feel his hardness through his pants as he ground his pelvis into yours.
“Finish what you were saying, Y/n,” he rumbled against your neck as he continued to pepper kisses once again.
You threw your head back to give him more access but he threaded his fingers in your hair and forced you to look at him.
“Finish what you were saying, Y/n,” he repeated.
“Put a baby in me, Angel Reyes,” you whispered, and he claimed your lips in a heated kiss.
You were so engrossed in his kiss that you didn’t feel Angel's movements until he was sliding into you. You gasped at the stretch he caused each time he filled you up. Angel held your gaze as he thrust into you, refusing to let you close your eyes.
Angel held your hips still as he pounded into you. “You wanna have my babies, Y/n?” He asked. “Yeah, you do. Fuck, you’re gripping me.” He continued to praise you. “You’re gonnna look even more beautiful when you’re round with my child. Fuck, I can see it. How many babies are you gonna give me?”
You moaned and threaded your fingers in his hair. You wanted to feel his lips on yours, but he wouldn’t grant you that until you answered him.
“Answer me, Y/n,” he growled as his hips began to move faster.
“As many, fuck Angel,” you cried. “As many as you want.” And you were telling the truth. You’d pop out as many big-headed babies as you could for this man.
“Yeah?” He asked, and you responded with a nod. “I’m gonna keep you full of me then.”
You clenched around him at the thought and his hips slowed. “You like that idea, don’t you?” He asked, a hint of teasing in his voice.
“I do,” you panted, and he granted you with a kiss. You were close to cumming, and he knew it.
“You’re gonna cum for me right here, Y/n,” he stated. You nodded your head and clenched around him again.
“And then I’m gonna fuck you while you’re grabbing your ankles,” he kissed you long and deep before he continued. “After you cum again, I’m gonna lay you out on our bed and eat this beautiful pussy, and right when you’re ready to tap out, I’m going to slide back in and cum all up in this pussy.”
You were close and he knew it, Angel snapped his hips forward a few times. “Cum on this dick, Y/n.”
You saw stars as you came around him. You clenched around him, and he growled in your ear and you felt his hips stutter as he emptied his seed inside of you.
The two of you panted as you came down from your highs. Angel still held the two of you up against the wall as you calmed down. You ran your fingers through his hair, and you felt him twitch inside of you.
Angel slowly pulled out of you and steadied you on your legs. He kissed you and began stroking his dick before he pulled away again. “Grab them ankles, Y/n, I’m not done with that ass yet.”
This wasn’t the first time that Angel had fucked you in this position, and it wouldn’t be the last. You winked at him before you slowly bent at the waist and took hold of your ankles. With the way Angel was mumbling, you knew it was going to be a long weekend. But you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Evil Fluttershy AU
*Warning! Warning! some characters are out of character because this is an AU, & this is not a happy story, with no happy ending.*
Fluttershy looks down at her old friends. One problem. She's not Fluttershy anymore. Her normally baby pink hair is darker with has black streaks running through it, her eyes pitch black, bat-like wings on her back, & she just floats, laughing at the girl's pain.
"You all did this to me. You abandoned me, & now you want me back?! Pathetic! For someone who's supposed to represent Loyalty, that was quite a betrayal, Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy laughs.
Twilight Sparkle yells, "Fluttershy, stop this! This isn't right! Rainbow betrayed you, I get it, but you don't have to take it out on the world."
Fluttershy laughs, "That's rich coming from you, Glasses! You tried to tear apart this world to get to Equestia once. I'm not being that stupid pushover anymore! I'm not Fluttershy anymore. I'm Bitterage. You made me into a monster, you all did. Especially you, Rainbow."
Rainbow holds back tears. She's right. Rainbow Dash had hurt her best friend deliberately, & now she has no way to reverse it.
"I'm sorry! I wanna make this right, Flutters!" Rainbow exclaims.
"How? You knew how much I wanted that, & you took it from me, on purpose! Well... No more... because I'm now infinite, unlike you."
youtube
Bitterage picks up Rainbow & throws her into the school's building. Sunset Shimmer stands up to help while gripping the geode around her neck. Bitterage starts singing.
"I'm the tallest of mountain I am the roughest of waves I'm the toughest of terrors I am the darkest of days I'm the last one that's standing, Don't try to stand in my way, Cause I've been up against better, Just take a look at my face
Cause if you're messing with me, I am a dangerous weapon I am the sharpest of blades; I'll cut you down in a second Cause I was born in this pain, It only hurts if you let it, So if you think you can take me Then you should go & forget it"
Bitterage stops Sunset from reaching Rainbow & picks her up by her collar, sneering.
"& after all this time, you're back for more I won't stop until they know my name So I'll take what's mine & start this war I'm coming at you like a tidal wave"
Bitterage continues fighting off her former friends, all of them having pain not just from being flung into buildings, but from their friend hurting them.
"When everything you know has come & gone, You are at your lowest, I am rising higher Only scars remain of who I was What I find in the ashes, you lose in the fire! When there's no one left to carry on, This is an illusion, open up your eyes! This pain persists! I can't resist! But that's what it takes to be Infinite!"
Rarity pulls up her gem shield to protect her friends from Bitterage's attacks. The shield cracks under the pressure of the power coming from Bitterage's anger.
"Yeah, so look around you & tell me what you really see I never end & that's the difference in you & me Cause when your time is up & everything is falling down, It's only me & you - who is gonna save you now?
So look around you & tell me what you really see You live a lie & that's the difference in you & me I have the power, Let me show you what it's all about It's only me & you - who is gonna save you now?"
Apple Jack uses her super-strength to throw a big piece of rubble towards Bitterage, only for it to disintergrate before it even comes close.
"I am the tallest of mountains & don't you ever forget it If you step in the ring, Then you're gonna regret it! Cause if you're messing with me, Then you should know that it's over I don't crumble for nothing I've got the world on my shoulders!"
Rainbow appears behind Bitterage, only this time, all trace of regret has disappeared as she superspeeds towards her former friend to hit her, only to be thrown away again.
"& after all this time, you're back for more I won't stop until they know my name So I'll take what's mine & start this war
When everything you know has come & gone, You are at your lowest, I am rising higher Only scars remain of who I was What I find in the ashes, you lose in the fire! When there's no one left to carry on, This is an illusion, open up your eyes This pain persists! I can't resist! But that's what it takes to be Infinite!"
She picks up Pinkie Pie by the neck, who is in tears, pained by the horror that her friend turned into.
"So look around you & tell me what you really see I never end & that's the difference in you & me Cause when your time is up & everything is falling down, It's only me & you - who is gonna save you now?
So look around you & tell me what you really see You live a lie & that's the difference in you & me I have the power, Let me show you what it's all about It's only me & you - who is gonna save you now?"
Bitterage laughs as she knocks the girls out.
"Nighty night."
***
All the girls wake up to find themselves in a prison of some kind, all of them shackled.
"What is this?" Sunset asks.
Pinkie Pie frowns, not even trying to think up a joke as she glares at Rainbow Dash.
Apple Jack frowns, "Well, this wouldn'ta happened if Rainbow hadn'ta stolen that ticket in the first place!"
Rainbow glares, "Are you saying this is my fault? How was I supposed to know Flutters was going to find a magic artifact that gave her the rage & anger to take it out on me?"
"Ya can put yer boots in the oven, but that don't make 'em biscuits."
Twilight yells, "Enough! We can all agree Rainbow is at fault for this, but we need a way to get Fluttershy back."
Suddenly, Bitterage's laughter echoes around the girls in a way that sends shivers down their spines.
"You are all that dumb, aren't you? There is no getting the old me back. This that you see? All me. It's all real. Unlike you fools. Pinkie Pie, hiding your pain with laughter. Twilight, still yearning to know about magic. Poor AJ, only honest to hide her previous lies. Rarity, only prim & posh because you didn't want to end up like your brother. Rainbow, enough said. & Sunset Shimmer. The one who tried to prove herself to her teacher, only to fail time & time again because she wasn't good enough."
Each of the girls gasp at the accusations coming from Bitterage. Pinkie Pie cries, her hair deflating like a balloon. Twilight looks to her friends, her secret not being painful. Apple Jack frowns, guilt drawn all over her face.
"Don't even mention my brother!" Rarity glares.
Rainbow goes to say something, only to get glares from each of the girls. Sunset frowns, then looks back up, determination filling every fibre of her body.
"That's not true. I have finally gained her approval. & my friends & I will find a way to stop you, like we always do. We will find a way to bring the old Fluttershy back to us!"
Bitterage laughs, "Oh you poor delusional fools. When Rainbow Dash betrayed me, she betrayed her element. Her element, her geode, it is extremely weak because of her. & if one breaks... the rest are sure to follow. Ta-ta, freaks!"
Bitterage leaves, laughing her heart out.
***
Bitterage stands on top of the school.
"This is my world now."
Suddenly, she starts coughing uncontrollably. Something separates from her body as she coughs, only to be tied to her leg. Her hair turns back to it's normal baby pink colour & her entire body turns back to normal.
"No... What have I done?" She cries.
"I did it, you fool! I took over your body, Fluttershy!"
Fluttershy looks up to see Bitterage.
"Why did you do this to me? Why did you force me to do this to my friends?"
Bitterage laughs, "Friends? Oh, you poor soul! Before Rainbow betrayed you, your will was too strong for me to get in. You always thought that if you were kind & had courage, it'd turn out alright. But Rainbow broke your will... no, she didn't break it, she SHATTERED it! Then you couldn't be kind or courageous anymore. That is what let me in. I was just punishing her for you, since you couldn't."
Fluttershy glares, "I won't let you back in."
Bitterage laughs, "Dear... once I'm in, I don't leave."
Bitterage jumps back into Fluttershy, causing her to scream. Her hair turns back to that dark pink with black strips, the wings grow again.
"That's better. Now, time for my rule!" Bitterage laughs.
Close Encounters of the Fin-Kind
Summary: Marine biologists Clementine Everett and Prisha Chakyar visit Fenrell Cove on a research grant to learn the long-lost secrets of the area. What they find there is certainly not what they had expected.
Word Count: 1978
Read on AO3:
“Can you believe it, Prish?” Clem glanced back at her best friend before continuing to scale the slippery rocks. “Months of paperwork and bureaucracy all to get to this moment!”
“It certainly is thrilling,” Prisha repositioned her wide brimmed hat before venturing further into the cave. “There was a point where I thought those pompous old fools would never give us the money for this expedition,”
“Well, those pompous old fools are still the ones funding this expedition so let’s tone the name calling down in our reports back,”
“Oh, of course! I’ll be the pinnacle of professionalism when it comes to the written word. But what they won’t hear won’t hurt them,” Prisha grinned mischievously at Clementine before hopping down onto the sandy shore of the inner cave. “Alright, just a little further and we’ll reach it,”
“The long-forsaken Fenrell Cove,” Clementine whispered the name reverently. “Can’t believe it’s been untouched for this long. Can you imagine the type of samples we can take here? Who knows, maybe we’ll even find a new species! Then I can name a sea sponge Prishacus Porifera like I always planned,”
“Well then, the first new species of sea cucumber I get my hands on will bear the name Clementina Holothuroidea for all eternity,” Prisha quipped.
Clementine was about to come up with an even greater threat than sea sponge namesakes when her eyes caught a glint of light round the corner of the cave. “We’re almost there!”
Prisha clammed up quickly, her focus turning instead to prepping their equipment. Pulling the camera out, she undid the cap on the lens, making sure the strap was steady round her neck before raising it close to her eye, ready to capture the first look mankind had had of Fenrell Cove in centuries.
The pair entered the cove in reverent silence, their eyes large as they took in its beauty. The walls of the cave had broadened and the ceiling had opened up to a clear sky, shining brightly upon the aquamarine water, crystal clear and revealing a plethora of plant and animal life along its peripheries. The marine biologists shared a look, both practically itching to set up their equipment and start their research.
“That patch of rocks looks like our best bet,” Clementine gestured a ways inward where a clump of rocks looked as though the sun had dried their algae-covered surfaces enough to not be as precariously slippery. Prisha silently nodding, pausing again and again on their journey over there to capture snapshots of everything that was around them. Clementine’s fingers tapped against the pocket of her cargo pants where her journal lay tucked away. She understood what Prisha was feeling; she couldn’t wait to start taking notes either. They were only covered for two months of research out here but if this cove was the treasure trove of information they believed it to be, she was sure they could bring back a discovery that would ensure future funding for years to come.
Setting up base for the day, the duo split up to do their separate tasks: Prisha documented everything she came across through her photography while Clementine’s careful notes and sketches gave a detailed summary of the layout and structure of the cove and cave surrounding it. Today would be all about getting a feel for the place; tonight they would convene together and compare notes to decide where their priorities must lie for the time allotted.
Clementine found a perch atop a particularly tall assortments of rocks upon the shore, taking the opportunity to sketch the overall landscape surrounding her. She was determined to have something extraordinary to show for each and every day of her time here, at least, extraordinary to the marine biologist community. She doubted they would come across a species distinct enough to garner national attention, but if she could do her own small part to share the beauty of the unknown world and make the wildlife here the safer for it, she’d feel she had accomplished the goals she set out to achieve in this field from the start.
The sound of a camera shutter repeatedly closing drew Clementine’s attention over to her friend, Prisha. Clementine smiled fondly over at her friend. To have stuck together from undergrad through their masters and now into their own original research was really something. Clem had always hoped that in some small way her parents were watching her proudly from up above, cheering her on. Lee and her little brother AJ were cheering from back home as well, but it was something special to have her friend right beside her through this, just as excited as she was about everything they would be discovering.
A shimmer from the shoreline suddenly drew Clementine’s attention. Setting aside her notebook on top of the highest rock, she cautiously stepped closer to investigate. It appeared to be some sort of seaweed growing in the shallow waters, but it was of a more vibrant tone than Clementine had ever witnessed of foliage. Crouching over the water, Clementine examined it with interest. It swayed back and forth lazily with the ebb and flow of the cove’s tide. The veins of the leaf she could see were quite pronounced, a darker green against the bright, serene glow of the lighter tones of the body of the leaf. Reaching into her waist pack and pulling out an examining glove, Clementine pulled it onto her hand before letting her fingers drift into the water and reach out to touch the curious specimen.
But as soon as her fingers had brushed against the delicate edges of the leaf there was a sudden flash and the leaf was there no more, disappearing in a sudden blur before her very eyes. Clementine’s hand remained frozen within the water where the leaf had just been. Or had it not been a leaf at all? The veining upon the leaf, the gentle sway of its movements within the lagoon. Had this perhaps been some sort of creature whose appendages appeared like algae for its own protection? Whether fish, crustacean or other aquatic animal, Clementine was sure there was no species like it on record yet. Withdrawing her hand from the water, she moved to return to her notebook.
That was when it happened. A splash of water had her eyes drifting upwards and all of a sudden a young man arose from the water. His skin was darker than hers and freckled, his hair styled in dreadlocks and his chest bare. He eyed Clementine curiously, silent.
Clementine was at a loss for words. There was no sort of civilization for at least a hundred miles round these parts and by all accounts Fenrell Cove had been lost to the sands of time until she and Prisha had pinpointed its location and successfully rediscovered it. This couldn’t be some random tourist who had stumbled upon the cove by happenstance. But then who in the world could he be?
The young man’s warm brown eyes watched her with interest. Did he speak English? Should she try to communicate with him? Before Clementine could decide, the stranger opened his mouth… and a minnow wriggled out. The tiny fish fell back into the water with a plop, instantly disappearing within its depths. What in the world? Why had that been in his mouth? Was he planning to eat it, live? The young man suddenly closed his eyes and shook his head wildly, causing his dreads to twirl and spray Clementine with droplets of water.
“Hey! What the hell?” Clementine exclaimed, shielding herself from the barrage. Her outburst drew Prisha’s attention who rose from her position and hurried over at the sight of a half-naked stranger within the cove. Her expression hardened as she approached.
“Sir, do you have any idea what kind of a priceless environmental sanctuary you have decided to desecrate with your leisurely swim? I would advise you go right back to whatever pleasure cruise you jumped off of and set your sights-”
Her words were cut short by the young man finally breaking his silence. But instead of words, a series of squeaks and trills emitted from his throat as he looked back and forth between the girls. A bright smile was upon his face, one undiminished by the utter befuddlement of his present company. Prisha and Clementine looked at each other in confusion. That wasn’t any sort of language they knew. Who in the world was this strange man?
A disturbance on the surface of the water signaled the arrival of someone or something else. This time it was a young woman who emerged from the water, but only up to her mouth. She was pale with short blonde hair and sea green eyes, eyes which were observing them suspiciously as her mouth turned down in a frown. She turned to the young man, letting out a series of throaty chirps which seemed to alter his good mood. Her dreadlocked companion shook his head, warbling something back to her which was utterly unintelligible to the biologists.
Clementine caught Prisha’s eye; her own widened as her friend rose to her feet, her hands raised in a gesture of pacifism. “Prish-”
“Please,” Prisha began, looking back and forth between both of the swimmers. “There seems to be some sort of misunderstanding. If we could simply-” A wave of water suddenly came crashing towards Prisha, drenching her and her camera in the process. Her eyes blazed with anger at that. “How dare you? This is expensive scientific equipment!” She strode forward to accost them further only for her feet to slip upon a particularly thick patch of algae. The marine biologist fell directly into the cove with a helpless cry.
“Prisha!” Clementine leapt forward to grab hold of her friend and pull her back onshore. The mysterious swimmers seemed utterly frightened by the splash, immediately diving below the surface of the water. It took a minute for Clementine to get enough leverage on the slimy shore to help Prisha back upon the rocks. After making sure Prisha was in no further danger, Clementine looked back to the cove – both the man and the woman were gone. There was no trace of them, as though they had never been there at all. Still, they had to have resurfaced for air somewhere. They couldn’t stay underwater forever.
“Perhaps they made a run for it,” Prisha muttered, angrily wringing out her sopping wet braid.
“Maybe… but why? What could we have done to stop them? Write a strongly worded letter to UNESCO?”
“It’s likely they were ashamed to be caught,” Prisha replied. “At least that would mean they had some measure of dignity remaining despite their blatant contamination of the cove’s waters,”
“I don’t know. They seemed… off,” Clementine pondered, a hand to her chin. “When that guy first tried to speak to me, he had a minnow in his mouth. A live one. Who even does that?”
“Delinquents, that’s who. Freaks with primal desires who frolic untethered where they think no one will see,” Prisha’s anger turned to despair as she looked to her camera. “I wasn’t under long, was I? Perhaps if I disassemble it, we can still save the equipment if not the film. Clem?”
Clementine shook herself out of her thoughts, turning to help her friend. “Right! Let’s get back to base and see what we can salvage. We can go from there,” Heading back to the rest of their equipment, the scientists chatted animatedly of what they had seen so far and what they hoped it meant they would discover through future research. No matter how bizarre that encounter was, they weren’t about to let it throw them off of their course: they were here to learn all that Fenrell Cove held within its waters. They had only just begun.
blood & claret for nyla
blood: which of your family members is your favourite?
nyla’s fav family member was their dad george. he knew so many facts abt the trees n would often take their hand n go on walks w them just pointing out different types n explaining their differences. he’d always add a little fantastical spin to it too. he’d b like “oak trees are where the fairies live bc the honeydew that seeps from the galls is high in minerals n they use it to make their fairy dust” n nyla wld be like :OOOOOOOOOOOOO just eating it all up.... where their mum wld always kind of shut down nyla’s imagination n inquisitive nature nyla’s dad wld always encourage it. this gifset captures their dynamic rly well. i dnt think nyla’s ever properly dealt w him passing or rly like. Acknowledged it to herself honestly.......... denial denial denial. instead they crafted a whole new world inside their head where he’s alive in everything they look at. sometimes when it’s hot enough in summer tht the heat feels like a hand against their forehead they imagine that it’s his.
claret: talk about a memorable experience on public transport.
ummm smiles nervously.... so in high skl nyla had this group of friends tht were rly chaotic n a lot of them didn’t like one another n it was this whole big tangled mess where nyla often thought a lot of them were better people than they were.......one time they were riding the train further into the city to see some band n stay at a hostel nearby n they were all drunk n doing god knows what like teenagers do <3 n then (nyla wasn’t involved in this discussion they were sat on the other side of the train w raya n evelyn n john) ryan bet aj (who nyla ws very in love with) that aj couldn’t get nyla to fk him in the train bathroom without evelyn noticing (literally aj’s gf at the time). needless to say he somehow managed it n then they returned to their seats. nyla didn’t even realise him n evelyn were together at that point so u can probably imagine how much of a double whammy of shock it was when they found out not only that aj was dating evelyn n had just cheated on her w nyla but that it was also a bet w ryan who was separately meant to be their friend too. just rly messy. aj literally said it afterwards like it was funny. finding that out was definitely memorable. it’s one of the things nyla hs difficulty bleaching away in their recurring memory scrub to keep their brain blank and shiny. like those rly tricky wine stains u can never get out of ur carpet. sometimes they think it’s a trivial thing n it’s silly to care that much. they have mixed feelings where they’re like ‘mayb i shd find it funny too’ bt for the most part it makes them sad. it’s one of the first times they started to realise their friends weren’t actually very good people.
Louis x reader (Soulmates in the end)
Request: hey, could you do a thing with Louis (gender-neutral reader) where there’s a soulmate AU, but because of the apocalypse everyone threw the idea of soulmates out the window? Like when you meet your soulmate, you can’t stop thinking about them until you have your first kiss? But Louis doesn’t know and the reader is good at hiding things so it’s just a lot of blushy, lovestruck baby boy.
Fandom: The walking dead game
Genre: Fluff
Linktree
~~~~~~~~~~~
Marlon crossed his arms over his chest a tad touch tighter at the sound of Louis’ question.
“Dammit, Louis. For the last time, soulmates don’t exist anymore. That was the old world… all of our soulmates are probably dead anyway,“ Marlon said.
Louis’ eyes were distant, as if he was thinking of something else. His mind wasn’t on the conversation, even if he was the one that started it in the first place. Marlon, having the advantage of knowing Louis for years, instantly knew that his head was somewhere in the clouds, or directed towards something else.
Ever since Clementine, AJ and (y/n) showed up at the school, Louis had been distant, quiet. Unlike himself. It could be finally seeing new people after so long. The school was basically isolated by the forest, not many people even come through their neck of the woods. But Marlon doubted it.
“Why are you so quiet lately? It’s weird to see you like that,” Marlon wondered.
Louis turned his gaze away from Marlon to spot (y/n) talking to Clementine as usual. The simple word soulmate popped up in Marlon’s mind quickly. Was it possible that one of the new people were Louis’ Soulmate? That was a hell of a coincidence. It didn’t take a genius to recognize the longing stare that Louis held for (y/n). It was plain as day, Louis just may have found his soulmate in this world.
“(y/n), huh? How do you feel about them?”
Louis took in a deep breath before very hesitantly turning his gaze away from (y/n) and to Marlon. Louis knew how he felt every time he saw or even thought of his soulmate or supposed soulmate.
“I feel fuzzy, like the world doesn’t matter anymore and I… I just want to hold them and tell them everything about me… You know?” Louis admitted.
Louis felt the blood creeping up his neck, he didn’t need a mirror to tell him that he was blushing hardcore. Marlon took a step back, glancing at (y/n) for a moment before giving Louis a small smile. Even if he wouldn’t find his own soulmate, he was happy that His best friend, Louis, was able to. Marlon gave his friend a knowing smirk, crossing his arms over his chest while Louis looked at him cluelessly.
“I think that you’re right. They might actually be your soulmate,” Marlon said.
Louis scoffed lightly, of course, he wants the thought to be true, but he also didn’t want to give himself too much false hope. Having a soulmate at this point was very rare. He always dreamt of having and loving a soulmate when he was young, and now that the possibility might be coming true felt all too good to be true. Louis slowly turned his attention back to (y/n) to see them crouching down to AJ’s level to speak with him directly, but it seemed like his insistent staring wasn’t as sneaking as he thought because they quickly caught his gaze.
Louis couldn’t seem to move a muscle or force his eyes away from their form. All Louis could think about was (y/n), holding them, living the rest of his life with them. (y/n) held a hand up to awkwardly wave at the flustered boy from across the courtyard.
Unfortunately, (y/n) wasn’t able to hold his stare long, as Aj regained their attention with a light slap on the arm. (y/n) blinked a couple of times before continuing to speak to the child, ignoring Louis’ intense staring. Marlon ran a hand over his face in exhaustion over the two and their ‘problem’.
“Why are you so distracted? You’re not usually like this,” Aj said before he crossed his arms over his chest, confused about why one of his parental figures was acting different, ever since they all got to the school a few weeks ago.
Soulmates were never explained to him, the current world seemed more important than such a mystical concept like being destined to find a certain someone and spending your life with them.
“It’s dangerous,” He whispered.
(y/n) laughed lightly, using a hand to brush back his messy hair to explain everything to him while unbeknownst to them, Marlon was trying to coax Louis to finally talk to (y/n) without anybody else around.
“It’s different here, Goofball… And I’m sorry that I’ve been distracted since we got here,” (y/n) explained their distraction.
AJ wrung his hands together, a word popping up in his head that he heard Clementine say to (y/n) the other day. Could it be why they were so distracted?
“What’s a soulmate?” Aj asked.
The question shocked (y/n) enough to pull their hand back and rest them both on their knees. It wasn’t an easy question to answer, and they didn’t realize that they nor Clementine never bothered to mention to entire Soulmate concept to him, considering it actually happens. Though, not nearly as much anymore.
“A soulmate is like a best friend but more, you know? It’s two people that the fates decided belong together. When I was your age, I used to see it on the streets… A bright light flashing before two people knew that they belonged together… When soulmates meet, all they can think about is the other but once they touch, everything just falls into place like a puzzle… does that kinda make sense?” (y/n) carefully explained.
AJ’s eyes were dazzling with wonder, he had never heard anything like that before in his life. Not from Clementine, not from the adult in front of him, nobody. His hands lightly grasped (y/n)’s, wanting to know more about this amazing thing that exists. AJ continued to ask more questions, excited to learn something new.
Marlon and Louis continued watching, not hearing a thing that was being said. Marlon continued trying to convince his best friend of years to go talk to them.
“Dammit, Louis. Go over right-”
Louis finally held his hands up in surrender before he straightened his jacket out and semi-confidentially walked across the courtyard to (y/n). They quickly stood up to talk to him, happy that he made the first initiative to talk.
“Hey,” Louis rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, not quite knowing what to say. Though, the silence seemed deafening and weird for AJ and Marlon, (y/n) and Louis continued to stare into the other’s eyes knowingly. Louis scrambled his brain for something to say that wouldn’t sound completely dorky. “Uh, I… Um.”
Marlon almost facepalmed at his best friend’s useless actions. Without pondering on the scene in front of him too much, Marlon marched forward to shove Louis onto (y/n). The two young teenagers were shocked at the sudden contact, not to mention the intimate kiss. Louis’ hands shot outward to catch (y/n) from falling to the ground, his hold laying on their waist tightly.
Marlon stood back, proud that something finally happened, though he did have to help move it along a bit. AJ took quite a few steps away, grossed out by the scene. He had never seen anybody do that.
Sadly, the couple could only kiss for a few seconds before their hands lit up with a strange blue light, a name being engraved on both Louis’ palm and (y/n)’s. They separated the kiss and brought a hand closer to inspect. In fancy cursive was (y/n)’s full name on Louis’ palm and his name on theirs.
Somehow, even in this dead and broken world, two people managed to find each other throughout everything. With no words, (y/n) threw their arms around Louis, shoving their face into the crook of his neck; wanting to get acquainted with their new-found soulmate as soon as possible.

DAY 1
“Welcome back viewers! As we just saw before the break, our celebrity housemates have all entered the Big Brother House and have officially started the game. Will personalities clash? Are alliances already forming? Let go to the live feed to find out!” said host Julie Chen.
As the screen shifts to a view of the living room, we see all the castmates lounging around and getting to know one another.
“So this is it everybody, the Big Brother House! I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t wait to get the game started!” said Jake.
Met with some cheers, Miranda decided to speak up. “I know, right? And it’s crazy that we all pretty much know each other already!”
This was true. Seeing as how this was the first season of Celebrity Big Brother in the US, the producers decided to go with a cast of the hottest, youngest, most talked about singers and actors. Apart from Jennifer, who was a milf, and James, who they needed as the sacrificial lamb to go home first. Plus, there was nobody messier than an ex-Disney/Nickelodeon act, so this season was guaranteed to be a disaster (in the best way possible).
“Which is why I’m assuming you’re all going to be fighting over me! Naturally I’m the strongest player here, the best looking, I’ve competed on Dancing With The Stars, and would’ve made the finals if it wasn’t for that stupid bitch from Full House.” James gloated, an awkward silence amongst the housemates as they all just stared at him. “Now, if you’d all make your case as to why I should be in your alliance, I can start making some decisions!”
“Loike… this is litcherally the first time I’ve even heard of you, and you’re acting a little dodgy mate, know what I mean?” Charli responded.
“Huh? Whatever, don’t want some foreign bitch in my alliance anyways. Anyone else?” James asked, only to be met with a chorus of boos.
Truth be told, James knew he was laying the asshole-ishness on a little thick, but he came into the game with a plan; he was going to be the season’s villain! Everybody loved a villain! But judging by the looks he was getting from everyone, not even 20 minutes into the game… he figured that he would lay low for a while until they all cooled off.
“Whatever. If you guys need me, I’ll be in the gym.”
As James awkwardly left the room, leaving the other housemates stunned, Dustin cleared his throat.
“So… who’s up for some cocktails?” He asked, met with enthusiasm, of course, because he was Dustin.
After an hour or two of socializing, naturally everybody began to go their separate ways, heading to the bedrooms to claim their beds and no doubt start strategizing about the game.
LINEBREAKLINEBREAKLINEBREAKLINEBREAK
“A twin bed? Are you kidding me??” Sabrina exclaimed, tossing her bag to the side and sitting down with a huff. “If the producers seriously think I’m gonna sleep on this pile of fucking rocks, then they have another thing coming!”
“I hear you bestie… JAKE! DIEGO! Come here now!” Logan yelled out, his current boyfriend and ex-boyfriend running over to his beck and call. “I’m gonna need you two to push all three of our beds together, like, now. I’ll let you two figure out who gets to share with me and who gets the floor. In the meantime, I’m gonna go find Charli and Lorde, we’re all gonna have a group meeting.”
As the two males quickly got to work and the blonde knocked over a bedside table in frustration, they heard Victoria call out from across the room.
“Hey guys, look what I found!” Victoria beamed.
In its own little part of the house was a separate room decked out fully in gold, with a small seating area and a huge California king bed.
“Oh, so this is where my bed is! Thank god I didn’t already start unpacking.” Sabrina said, throwing herself back on the bed and letting out a sigh of relief.
“Uhm, I’m pretty sure this is actually me and Dustin’s bed. I let the producers know about our accommodations before we entered the house.” Victoria replied, causing the blonde to give her a look.
“Err, no it’s okay, I’m fine having my own be-“Dustin said before Victoria put a finger to his lips to shush him.
“Don’t worry honey, I’ll handle it. Sabrina, get off, you’re messing up Dustin’s side of the bed.”
“No! Why do you two get this giant bed to yourselves! That’s not fair!” Sabrina shouted, getting in Victoria’s face.
“Oh, but for whatever reason you think you’re entitled to it?” Victoria shouted back, Kendall trying to pull her aside to stop the fighting.
“Guys, I think this bed might be for me, there’s an outlet next to it and I need somewhere to plug in my CPAP machine.” Lorde said, suddenly appearing in the room alongside them.
“Oh, this room is nice!” Raini said, appearing in the room with Carlos and Max beside her.
Housemates! I see you’ve all found the Master Bedroom. There’s no need to fight over it, as you’ll all have the chance to claim it, so long as you’re the current reigning Head of Household.
“See? There’s no reason for you two to fight over the bedroom after all!” Kendall said, throwing an am around each girl before they shoved him off.
“Stay out of it, Kendall!” They shouted in unison.
“But what about my CPAP machine?” Lorde asked.

In one bedroom, Logan, Lorde, Sabrina, Charli, Diego, and Jake were all huddled together in a circle.
“Now, I’m sure you can all figure out why we’re together right now.” Logan said, standing up above the others. “You see, I’ve decided that I’m going to take all of you to the final six with me!”
As everyone cheered, Logan cleared his throat. “Jake, could you go stand guard at the door and make sure nobody’s around? We need to talk business. First plan of action, who are we evicting first?”
“I vote Carlos. Physical challenge wise, I think he poses the biggest threat.” Lorde said, with Jake nodding his head in agreement from the door.
“We can vote Carlos first. But if it’s a mental challenge, then I think Raini poses a threat too.” Sabrina said, Charli agreeing with her.
“You both have a point, I guess we’ll just have to see how the first challenge goes.” Logan responded, pacing around the room with his hands behind the back. To the side, Diego sat quietly, a troubled look on his face. “What’s wrong Diego, you look like you don’t agree with us.”
“No, it’s not that Logan, it just that… this alliance… don’t you all think it’s a little obvious? I’m sure the others already expect us to team up, and I feel like they’ll try to pick us off one by one. I don’t know, I feel like we’re just setting ourselves up to be targeted.”
“Gee, Diego, it sounds to me like you don’t want to be in the final six, do you? If you’re just going to sit there and backstab us already, feel free to leave the room!” Logan scowled, pointing an accusatory finger at Diego.
“NO! It’s just that-“ Diego responded before being cut off by Logan.
“Save it. All in favor of voting Diego out of the alliance, say I!” Logan barked, the other four all yelling out a cheerful “I!”.
“Fine. When this alliance backfires, Logan, don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Diego said before storming out of the room.
After a brief, awkward silence, Jake spoke up. “Soooo… does that mean we’re the final 5 now?”
Before anybody could answer that, suddenly a loud crash came from the nearby closet, with Jennifer falling out in a tangle of clothing and hangers.
As everybody glared at her, she let out an awkward chuckle. “Okay, so maybe I was eavesdropping on all of… that… but what can I say? I live for drama!”
“Cool. So… would you be interested in joining our alliance and being in the final 6 with us?” Logan asked.
“YES! Oh my god, I’ve been avoiding Kendall all day, I just know he was going to ask me that question any second.” Jennifer exclaimed, being met with open arms by her new alliance mates.
LINEBREAKLINEBREAKLINEBREAKLINEBREAKLINEBREAK
Meanwhile, in the common room, the rest of the housemates, minus James, Carlos, and Diego, were all gathered together. Max, Aly & AJ, Victoria, and Kendall were all playing charades, with Victoria, his partner, screaming at him for his god-awful impersonation of an mime (why couldn’t he have picked something more obvious, like a toucan?). On the couch sat Raini and Miranda, who were playing scorekeeper for each team.
And in the gym, James and Carlos were both lifting weights, with Carlos being James’s spotter.
“I can’t believe it’s already almost the end of the day, and NOBODY has asked me to be in an alliance with them! Everyone in this house must be a complete fucking moron if they don’t see just how valuable I am to have on their side!” James, said, grunting as he pushed the bar above his chest up and down.
“Uh, yeah.” Carlos responded, half-tempted to let go and let the bar fall on his former bandmate’s chest.
Truth be told, Carlos would rather be anywhere but here. Him and James had only spoken twice since the indefinite hiatus of Big Time Rush, and he was shocked/upset when he saw him walk in the house as a fellow housemate. They had had a bit of bad blood due to… something, that had happened between them back in the apartment.
Carlos wasn’t stupid. Earlier during their workout session, James had asked if he wanted to form an alliance, and he knew it was only because nobody else wanted to be around him. But, before coming onto the show, Carlos had binge watched every season of Big Brother, and if things went as they usually did, there was much more of a focus on physical challenges at the beginning of the show, with the challenges becoming more mental as the show progressed.
So he would be in an alliance with James, at least for the beginning. At least until he could join a stronger one.
“Well, whatever. Looks like it’s just me and you against the house then, bro.” James said, pushing the bar off of him and taking a swig of his water. “So I don’t know about you, but I say we vote that british chick out first. Didn’t like the way she was talking to me earlier.”
“Charli?? Why? She’s not even a threat!” Carlos asked.
“Well then let’s evict Kendall! He’s fucking annoying, and I’m pretty sure he was watching me get dressed to work out.” James responded, Carlos facepalming himself as James clearly had no idea how to strategize.
“Let’s… discuss it when the time comes. Do you mind spotting me?” Carlos said, but before he could say anything else, another figure had entered the room.
“Oh, hey guys… mind if I be in here with you for a bit?” said Diego, also donning his workout attire with a towel draped over his shoulder.
“Uh, yeah, that’s fine.” Carlos responded. He had never met Diego before, but he had certainly heard about him before. When he and Logan had broken up, Diego was the first guy Logan had rebounded with, and from what he had heard through the grapevine, things had gotten pretty serious between them. For whatever reason, they had broken up, seeing as how Logan was dating Jake now (not that Carlos was keeping tabs or anything, Logan’s personal life was just VERY publicized on gossip sites and the tabloids). He was going to question why he wasn’t with the others, as he had been before, but he decided against it, seeing how bothered he had looked when he walked in.
“Nice to see a fellow alpha male in the house. The name’s James.” The taller male said, putting out his hand to shake, which Diego reluctantly took.
“Diego.”
“Well Diego, me and Carlos here were just doing a few reps, care to join?” James said.
And for the next hour, the three of them did, falling into a… somewhat comfortable chit chat. They mostly just talked about fitness regimes, and then outside projects they had worked on (none of the ones James had named off ringing a bell in Diego’s head). Diego, of course, droned on and on about the podcast he does on woodworking, even if the other two didn’t seem as interested. And Carlos talked about life as a now-married family man, and the struggles of managing a career and a billion-dollar enterprise alongside it.
Eventually, the three of them had all tired out, taking the time to catch their breaths.
“Nice work out, man.” Carlos said, James nodding his head in agreement.
“Yeah, we gotta do this more often. You know, I was thinking… three alpha males likes us, dominating the competition? We’d be unstoppable, and nobody would suspect a thing. What do you two say we form an alliance?” James said, the other two taking a second to think it over.
“Yeah… yeah that sounds good actually.” Diego said.
“Me too… but first things first, I think we oughta hit the showers.” Carlos responded.
As the three of them made their way over to the restroom, James stopped dead in his tracks.
“Just so you two know, I’m not gay, so don’t get any ideas in there.”
However, despite his disclaimer, the three of them did end up fucking in the shower, with James in the middle, Diego in the front, and Carlos in the back.
Looks like some of our housemates are getting to know each other pretty well. To see the exclusive footage and catch other behind the scenes clips, make sure to tune into Celebrity Big Brother: After Dark.
LINEBREAKLINEBREAKLIEBREAK
Attention housemates! If you would all make your way to the common area, we are about to begin our first Head of Household competition!
As everybody got situated on the couches, the main screen lit up, with host Julie Chen appearing on the screen.
“Welcome, everybody, to the first Head of Household competition. To start things off, and to commemorate our very first celebrity edition of Big Brother, we’re going to be doing things a bit differently this time. Prior to tonight, we asked viewers to vote for their pre-season favorite housemate, so hopefully you made a good impression in your introduction packages.” Julie said. “The winner of America’s vote will not only be the first Head of Household, they will also be responsible for choosing the first two nominations tonight, with one of you going home. Because we haven’t implemented a Power of Veto just yet, these two nominations will be locked in. Now, is everybody ready?”
“Ready!”
“Perfect. Now, in a landslide vote, America chose their favorite housemate to be… Raini Rodriguez! Congratulations, Raini, as the first Head of Household, tonight’s nominations fall in your hands. Feel free to discuss amongst your housemates, and let us know when you’re ready to nominate.” Julie said.
“Thank you, Julie, and thank you America for choosing me to be the first Head of Household!” Raini said. “So, first off, I guess I just want to say that whatever happens tonight, I hope there’s no hard feelings amongst any of us. We were all chosen to represent the first season for a reason, and I know that it’s going to be a great season. ALL of us are stars, and the sixteen of us are absolutely all within the same caliber.”
“Except for James.” Charli said, causing a VERY loud and hysterical reaction from everybody. Aly & AJ were rolling around on the floor, Miranda was fanning away the tears forming in her eyes, and Jennifer couldn’t stop cackling!
“Guys! Guys! No, I request the floor, guys!” James sputtered out, not expecting for him to suddenly be the laughing stock of the cast. “I’ll defend myself a little bit! No! I’ll defend myself a little bit! Guys! Okay, okay okay okay okay OKAY!”
“BITCH! Sit your ass down and shut the hell up, bitch!” Kendall shouted, standing up and feeling the blood rush to his head as everyone, if it was even more possible, became more hysterical and on the verge of pissing themselves. It was as if he was living a real life episode of drag race, and everybody else respected him and thought he was hilarious! Victoria had actually ended up peeing herself a little from laughing so hard, meanwhile Max was scrambling to take a hit from his inhaler.
Sitting down, still feeling flustered from all the praise, Kendall crossed his legs to hide his very obvious erection, no doubt needing to RUN to the bathroom after the eviction ceremony to take care of his little problem. Seeing how bright red James was, and the superiority complex he felt over the male that he had worshipped all these years… he actually already took care of his problem. Well, one of his problems at least. He’d have to change out of his shorts and do a load of laundry, now.
Once things had somewhat settled down, and James was sitting in his chair, steam practically shooting out of his ears, Raini stood up.
“Okay Julie, I think I’m ready.” Raini said, taking a second to compose herself. “This may not come as much of a shock, as seen by the… reaction, all of us had moments ago, but the first housemate I have to nominate for eviction is… James.”
“Oh fuck this! Are you kidding me?” James said, crossing his arms as he sat back, beyond furious with everybody around him.
“Very well, Raini. James, that means that you are up for eviction and are at risk of being voted out of the house tonight.” Julie said from the screen. “Now, Raini, please tell us who the second person is that you are nominating tonight.”
“Before I say her name, I just want to say that I have absolutely no ill will against this girl. She’s a great person, and a fellow Disney colleague of mine, but I feel like her attitude earlier today wasn’t the greatest. The second person that I am nominating tonight is… Sabrina.”
“WHAT! Is this some fucking joke?” Sabrina exclaimed, as producers told her to sit back down and not cause any more trouble.
“Very well. James, Sabrina, that means the two of you are up for eviction. Before the other housemates make their way to the confessional room, you each have 30 seconds to state your case and explain to the others why you deserve to stay in the Big Brother household. James, you are up first.” Julie said.
Standing up with his hands in his pockets, James was clearly agitated, but did his best to force a fake smile for the others. “Well, what more can I say than that I’m a strong player, a great potential ally, and if you all decide to keep me in the household, I’ll give you guys a shout out on my patreon, maybe even give you a feature on an upcoming song! We can do a vlog together for my Youtube channel! Whatever it is you guys want, I’m open to collaboration.” Sitting back down and still forcing a smile, he definitely felt a lot better about his standing in the competition.
“Thank you, James. Sabrina, you’re up.” Julie said.
“If you vote me, a GIRL, out of the house over a GUY, then that means you’re probably misogynistic.”
…….
“Is that it, Sabrina? You still have twenty seconds to make your case.” Julie asked.
“No, I think I made myself loud a clear.” Sabrina responded.
“Alright then. Housemates, one by one, you will make your way to the confessional room to cast your vote, and then we will announce which celebrity housemate will be leaving us tonight. Going alphabetically, Aly & AJ, you’re up first.” Julie said.
One by one, everybody cast their votes.
Aly & AJ: “We vote James. We didn’t like the language he used to some of the women here in the household, and we think it’s time for him to leave.”
Carlos: “James. I know we’re in an alliance, but I can’t align myself with somebody like him, it will only affect my game.”
Charli: “James.”
Diego: “I’m sorry to say it, but James.”
Dustin: “James.”
Jake: “I wanted to vote for Sabrina because she was being a little mean to me earlier, but I forgot she’s on my alliance, so I have to vote for… James.”
Jennifer: “James.
Kendall: “Well… I was going to vote for Sabrina, but I don’t want people to think I’m a misogynist! Plus I think he saw me earlier watching him undress, and I’m kinda afraid that he might put a pillow over my face while I sleep! So I vote for James! >~<”
Logan: “James. I fucking hate him.”
Lorde: “I vote for James.”
Max: “I thought he was a cool dude at first, but he really showed his true colors tonight, so James.”
Miranda: “I have to vote for James.”
Victoria: “James. But I have a feeling that Sabrina has her eye on Dustin, so I’m definitely watching out for her.”
As the housemates all made their way back to the living room, the camera panned on both James and Sabrina, both looking extremely nervous as they awaited the results.
“Thank you everybody for casting their vote. After tallying the votes, we had a 13-0 unanimous decision… James, I’m sorry, but you have been evicted from the Big Brother House.” Julie announced.
“You know what? FUCK all of you, you’re all a bunch of goddamn losers. I didn’t even need to do this show, you know! And to think my own two allies voted me out too, what a fucking joke.” James exclaimed, the rest of the cast glancing around to see who the two people were that he was referring to.
“And that concludes tonight’s eviction ceremony. James, please make your way to the jury house, and we will see you once more at the finale for the final vote.” Julie said, as James stormed off. “That has been tonight’s episode of Big Brother, tune in tomorrow to see what else our housemates have in store from this. Also, be sure to watch the live feeds on Big Brother: After Dark, and watch behind the scenes clips on BigBrother.com. This has been Julie Chen, thank you, and goodnight.”
