well. it wasn't good. they threw in 5 seconds of tony todd (WIN!!!!) but he was cgi'd to look young the whole time
#so much fucking cgi. they used cgi for the bees. they used cgi for that shot of him looking into a mirror.#they used cgi for every single shot of candyman. they used cgi for a projector slide tearing 😭#um well there were things i liked. i really loved that they built onto the original story. i always thought of candyman as a sort of legacy#they also kept the tragic love story. i just wish they emphasized it more before the end because him saving her was really sweet.#man they. absolutely did not need a real life antagonist... it just didn't work sorry...
