i've returned to post about a particular subject i've been fighting to or not to post, because i used to consider this person the closest person in my life and i even considered her as a best friend and a sister.
and we have fallen out and apologised to each other many times, but perhaps whenever we argued it was life telling me that she is not supposed to be in my circle. and you could be wondering why am i bringing this up and telling tumblr this but im telling tumblr this to be aware of @couerardent and her scamming behaviour.
couerardent also known as MYSTIICWINTER OR MYSTICWIINTER.
talk about WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
[other people have come to me and spoke about how bad her services were, but i tried to overlook it because i really cared for her, lessoned learn]
i have always been empathetic towards ardent and her money situation, but there are moments when excuses turn into reasons to not do something. on august, i sent alex money because she needed it, but she also said in return she will give me 4 packs she usually gives her clients and she told me she would give me my money back.
first pack is "tell me your story."
second and other packs she hadnt told me what they were but she informed me that i'll be receiving them weekly since august, and now its november.
at first i was empathetic, since i used to be close to ardent, i knew she went through a lot of stuff at home, so i was patient. until august turned into september, and september turned into october and then october turned into novemeber.
and slowly i became annoyed, [as i should] because her services arent even long or good, as someone who gives chart readings to other people that consists more than fourteen pages, the effort to write that would take long, but ardent doesnt even give five pages for her services, three at most, so why is it taking her so long?
previously, she has joked to me about scamming other people, but would put the blame on them and not want to take accountability until they start using threats to expose her, i think she deleted the making fun of scamming them but here is some of it:
and when i would message her for updates about my reading because it'll take months, she would ignore me and even change her pfp on tumblr or discord, until i reach out to her on more platforms to get her attention.
and what would annoy me even more is that she would talk about how she never has something to do or would focus on other stuff knowing she needs to get my reading done lmao and this would be like 1-2 months after i was supposed to receive any of it lol.
worrying about the layout for almost 3 months PLEASE.
i have received 1/4 readings, and that was now almost 2-3 weeks ago, we should've been on my 2nd or 3rd reading by now, the only reason i have received 1 reading is because i did threaten to expose her if she didnt send the money or reading my way, because even i had some issues because living in london has gotten really difficult and i have been trying to support my family as much as i can, but im doing better right now.
its all about the principle. and she has none of that. and even attempted to victimise herself and behave like she was in distress whenever she got called out about her behaviour.
she lost track of time, the time being 3-4 months lol.
and when i was speaking to her she ignored me for a bit again ha, it was almost comedic. for almost two weeks she didnt try and check what i was speaking about.
she has gotten ill, but this was still months after.
and i have remembered, she has used much of her earned money to fund for her nose job but also uni, but during the moments it was best to pay me back was at the job she said paid her well, she informed me that when she gets paid by her job she'll pay me back, and she never did and ended up quitting the job.
[the unfairness i was speaking about is how uni her country dont do student finances, she's from romania, because they do in the uk it was just a surprise].
i asked her recently on how i was supposed to receive a reading but she didnt reply but change her pfp on whatsapp and discord, again.
if there is any confused people comment please because i did this half asleep lmao

Rottmnt request platonic funny hc.
Younger sister reader whose always talks about " am daddy's favorite and i'll have most of his inheritance " type of talk like how leo jokes mostly about new Jersey and whenever her brothers are either in danger or doing something naughty she always writes to her dad with
" dear daddy, sadly i'd like to inform you that my brothers are mostly dead so please scratch their names off your will and thank you "
٠ ˚ ※ ๋࣭ ᯓ⚝ ⋆ .˚✰"Daddy! Buy Me North Korea!"٠ ˚ ※ ๋࣭ ᯓ⚝ ⋆ .˚✰
✰⋆⁺warnings: death mentions(!) death threat jokes(!) reader is scary(!) lil bit of angst(!) cussing(!)
✰⋆⁺I really love this one- I'm even gonna add gifs for specific events rather than making up my own plot. My brain is kinda hurting- I found this funny bc it's a thing that me and my dad joke about from time to time.
"that's a thousand dollars" "out of what?" "what I'm owing you in my will"
I hope you all enjoy<33
✰⋆⁺ Random scenes where reader "accidentally" mentions her ability to kill the four turtles. Poor thing doesn't even know that Splinter hasn't even written his will yet.
Reader already knew that Lou Jitsu was a popstar in the hidden city-
Just look at all of those posters!
And after a bit of poking and prodding at Draxum for a while, she found out how they were created.
Yet she didn't know who her biological father was, and her digging came to an end.
untilll-
After finding out that Splinter is Lou Jitsu (during the fish and ladders fight), reader has been ADAMANT that Splinter still has some of that leftover money.
You know how the turtle boys always try to gain Splinter's favor?
Well, reader tries even harder.
Homemade gifts, physical affection, spends time with the old rat, listens to his stories.
She is getting that money one way or another.
She even tries to stay in the lair more often, sometimes to manipulate his opinions of her brothers just a tiny bit.
But that doesn't mean she isn't genuine with her actions-
She just wants the benefits yk?
I basically headcannon her to be like Zuri from 'Hey Jessie" and "Bunk'd' where when she finds an opportunity for money, she'll take it.
Reader is very observational, so after finding out Donnie's password, she just slowly started cashing out the man's bank.
She found it even better when she realized that ALL of his passwords were the same and he BARELY changes them.
When someone owes reader her money, she'll get it.
She's actually kind of a loan shark, and even does interest depending on who owes her and how long they didn't pay her,
"HEY! I said pay up bucko! It's been three months and you still haven't coughed up JACK."
Repo never wanted to be in debt to a little girl ever again.
Anyone who is in debt to her will be crouching in pain- wallet empty, dignity lost, banging the floor, and broke as hell.
"IS THAT MONEY I HEARD?" You shouted, this may have been the best day of your life! Say goodbye to pyramid schemes ole pal! You just found a new source of forever income!
You sighed dreamily, thinking about how much cash you'll be flowing in before the old rat croaks.
Raph deadpanned at you before grabbing you by the shell and dragging you away from the fight.
"Ooh Donnie! DOn't GeT ClAweD At!!! You might just loose your name in the will! Who do you think Splinter will give it to??? His favorite child of course!"
You cackled evilly at the thought, but pouted when you saw that your brother survived.
"NO!" Raph yelled, jumping off the roof to catch Leo.
"There's no point! You should've just ran- Besides, he barely has anything left to his name but a few lil comics and unicorn figures." You rolled your eyes.
Raph successfully caught Leo, with said turtle yelling in retaliation to your claim.
"THEY AREN'T JUST UNICORN FIGURES!!"
While Leo was fighting Raph, you were writing a letter, tears staining the page. Somehow, you had gotten aloose with all of the commotion.
But instead of running, you wrote,
" dear daddy, sadly i'd like to inform you that my brothers are mostly dead so please scratch their names off your will and thank you "
The joy that you would have mountains of cash was overshadowed by the depression that you felt over the possibility of losing your brothers.
If they did actually die, you would pay them 500 bucks each everytime you passed their graves. If not, then writing this letter was completely and utterly useless.
More tears fell from your eyes, angry at the selfishness you had despite how dire the situation currently is. You stopped writing.
The Krang had attacked the day before, but you had to find it before it was too late!
Splinter was dead. He had been for a while now, died from old age and dementia. Out of respect, you held back your impatience to find that damned paper-
There!
While very unprofessional, and quite frankly very unorganized, the will was there.
"My Dear youngest, Pink .
I know you will find this first. You always had a thing for wads of cash and anything that blinged."
Tears began to flow from your eyes again, your lip trembling as you continued to read,
"Do know, I have nothing to my name. No money, no residence, nor any left over children."
The paper crinkled beneath your hands, you knew it. You fucking knew it and yet you continue to read it. How utterly selfish of you. Law wouldn't matter, not with what is going on right now.
Things were hopeless. The future would be corrupted by these alien things. And yet, you still read.
"The only thing I would want to leave for you and your brothers, the only thing I can give you in my current state are my final words.
I love all of you. I am proud of each and every one of you. Watching you all grow up was one of the best things that Lou Jitsu never would have known he needed.
Take care, don't miss this old rat too much.
-Splinter Hamato"
That night, you cried the most you've ever done in your entire life. And in a few hours, you were dead.
Mikey, the one who found your hand clenched to your weapon underneath pounds of rubble, couldn't speak for the next few days. The letter stayed in his pocket.
man... I'm bummed now.
For those who are worried; no, reader did not kill herself. The Krang just caught her, she was the first to go.

Whump Whumping Whump
Updates on Whumptober, meows!
Alllriiight, my dear readers, I'm very much on a roll when it comes to Whumptober. For anyone stumbling across my page for the first time, Whumptober is an event hosted during October where you write "whump", or rather the psychological, physical, and other forms of torment against a "whumpee" (person receiving the angst).
I had the thought of doing a combination of prompts into a single one-shot, just to get a feel of something a little different! I wanted to talk a little about the chosen fandom and some information about the au itself because why not? For fandom, I decided to go with the current fixation, in other words a K-Drama known as Vincenzo.
This one's going to be particularly whumpy, especially due to the nature of the content with my idea but before that - this idea follows a canon divergent setting! It does fit under au, though honestly I named the fic after a song! Due to my rewatch of the series, I realized how dear these characters are to me so I created my own canon because, well, one of my favorites did die and I am upset lol.
Read below for information about the au and the fic itself!
Changes to the Canon
Jang Hanseo deserved so much better. After suffering from Hanseok's abuse, I felt his demise was too brutal for my tastes and decided he would get the chance to live here!
Vincenzo still did leave Korea after the end of the series, but then came back - deciding he couldn't abandon his new family. Geumga Plaza is an unofficial family and are highly protective of each other
Vincenzo and Hong Chayoung got together post-canon; though it took a while, considering just how stubborn both of them are. They're only dating, and neither has brought up marriage
The au itself does take place in Italy though! I had thought of Vincenzo taking Chayoung and Hanseo to visit where he had grown up, and so I decided to have them take a vacation
Hanseo took over the business, now running it legally. Though he also decided to volunteer at an animal shelter during the weekend
Vincenzo is a legal consultant, apart from still being part of the Jipuragi Law Firm
Hanseo suffers from PTSD and an unspecified anxiety disorder. While he has recovered immensely from the abusive dynamic with Hanseok, he does have vicious nightmares
He considers Vincenzo to be his true brother and rarely talks about Hanseok
Chayoung is highly protective of Hanseo, making sure no one comes after him. Though, this has hardly been an issue
Hanseo also has Autism Spectrum Disorder. I'm not going to lie; a lot of his depictions of having ASD in fanfiction doesn't always make me comfortable. I'm using my own experience with autism for how his represents
Vincenzo also has PTSD, but he doesn't talk about it. Ever
Fanfiction Details
As mentioned before, Vincenzo - alongside Chayoung and Hanseo - take a vacation to Italy, but of course things end up going a little south
For reasons I won't be disclosing yet, a hit is placed on Vincenzo. He discovers what's happening, and finds himself slowly distancing from Hanseo and Chayoung in order to keep them safe
Chayoung immediately notices something's up, attempting to confront Vincenzo but he gets defensive and it leads to a situation. That's all I can really say
Hanseo is not confrontational, but he does worry over his hyung and decides to help Chayoung figure out what's bothering Vincenzo
A fight does break out, but I will not be saying anything beyond that yet! That's spoilers, I'm afraid
More will come in a little while if anyone wants a WIP and would like to see me keep yapping about this idea. I haven't written for Vincenzo in ages, and last time, it had gotten a little... spicy to say the least but I adore Vincenzo's relationship with Chayoung and, well, Hanseo should've had a chance to heal from Hanseok's torment. In the meantime, I bid you adieu!

“Drunk-Dazed”
Yoohyeon (Dreamcatcher) x Female Reader
(1 part - completed ✅)
Word Count: 8265
Summary: Being a member in the debut lineup for HFE/Dreamcatcher Company’s new girl group is stressful for a number of reasons, but your increasingly complicated feelings for a certain tall brunette from your senior group rapidly becomes the main one when you’re shoved into a dark room to find her unbuttoning her shirt…
Warnings: angst, cursing, alcohol use, mild sexual content
This story features appearances of idols: Yujin (IVE), Yeji (Itzy), Heejin (ARTMS), & Yves/Sooyoung (soloist - formerly LOONA)
"C'mon, unnie," a voice whined, breaking my focus on the lyrics in front of me. "Give it a rest. You've been writing all day." From my peripheral I could see a pout on the brunette's face.
"I have not been writing all day," I countered, putting my pen back over my notebook page in the hopes that a line would magically come out of it. I had admittedly been working for a few hours and managed to write an entire song already. But this one still felt like it was missing something. That last finishing touch. And I couldn't leave until I figured it out. I didn't like splitting my writing sessions up; my songs have to be completed in one sitting, because I feared I'd be in a different mindset when I picked it up again and wouldn't be able to do it justice.
"Right, like eight hours isn't 'all day,'" the younger member mocked and I could practically hear her eye roll from her spot in the doorway. Her words caused me to let go of my pen and turn around in my chair to narrow my eyes at her. "Okay, maybe I was exaggerating a little..."
“‘A little,'" I muttered, spinning back around.
She rushed over, sitting on the bed next to the desk and grabbing my knee before I could pick my pen back up. "But I really think you should take a break." I paused to look at her for a moment, trying hard to resist. "You've been working a lot lately, even after practice hours... especially after practice hours." I forced a smile and shook my head, turning to the side to fight back a sarcastic laugh. "I'm serious, unnie," she said, bringing my eyes back to hers, "We're all worried about you."
I blinked as she stared back, completely serious. Had it really gotten that bad? I mean, our debut was nearing, so of course I'd been working harder these days. I often took time out of my breaks to work on writing and producing: perfecting the songs we planned to put on the album. But, that's what everyone does, right? That's what I was expected to do as an idol.
I sighed. Maybe I was going a little overboard. Shaking my head once more, I replied, "I'm sorry, Yujin." Taking a deep breath, I rubbed my hands over my face as I exhaled. "I didn't mean to make you guys worry." My lips turned down when my eyes met hers again. Sometimes I wondered what I did to deserve such caring members.
Yujin's warm, brown eyes shined in the lamp light as a smile slowly spread across her lips, exposing her dimples. "It's okay, unnie," she said, and suddenly launched forward, jumping on me and wrapping her arms around my shoulders. I laughed, still somewhat unused to her physical affection. She really did suit the role of maknae perfectly, always acting clingy and cute towards me like a puppy. "I know you're doing it for us," she whispered, making my chest feel warm.
There was a brief moment of silence where I allowed myself to appreciate the support and love I felt from the young singer on my lap. She probably had a million things on her mind being so young, away from home, and having pressures and expectations put on her that nobody her age should ever have to deal with. Yet, she still chose to prioritize me over all of it. The funny thing is, I was the oldest member, so I should've been the one taking care of her, not the other way around.
"This does mean you're gonna take a break now, right?" Yujin mumbled into my shoulder before backing away.
I laughed. "Yes, that's what it means." She giggled and stood up, pulling me up with her like she thought I might've been lying, still planning to stay planted in that chair for the rest of the night.
"Good, because your girlfriend invited you to a party." A voice from outside the room cut in, directing my eyes to the open doorway. There stood a muscular girl with golden hair pulled back in a half-up half-down hairstyle.
"Who, you?" Yujin replied, raising her eyebrows in disbelief, "Because last time I checked she was my-"
"I don't remember inviting Y/N to a party." Yet another voice interrupted the youngest member, appearing behind the blonde. She nonchalantly popped what I assumed was a peanut in her mouth, making her short, dark red hair flop to one side before she smirked and sent me a wink.
"Sooyoung unnie~" Yujin dragged out, whining at the red-haired member, "you ruined my line." I just stood there with pink cheeks as I watched the all-too-familiar scene play out in front of me.
"Blame Heejin, she's the one who said my name." Sooyoung shrugged, leaning one of her hands near the top of the door frame.
"She said 'Y/N's girlfriend,'" Yujin grumbled, clearly annoyed.
"Exactly," Sooyoung said, sending the maknae a tight-lipped smile.
"Uh, clearly I was referring to myself," Heejin butted in before the youngest member could get a word in. And, just like that, the room erupted into chaos, all three members yelling and arguing over each other.
If you had told me a few years ago that three of my future group members would be fighting over me, I would've laughed in your face, even if they were joking. And, yet, here I stand.
"Guys, guys please," I raised my voice loud enough to be heard over the bickering. Luckily they started to quiet down after getting their last remarks in and sneering at each other. "Enough with the joking-"
"Oh, you think we're joking." Sooyoung deadpanned, then looked me up and down in a way that made me feel weak in the knees.
"So is Y/N coming to Minji's party?" A fourth voice asked, completely oblivious to what just went down (or, maybe just so used to it that she had tuned the bickering out). All eyes landed on the brown and pink haired member like she had just exposed their secret.
"Yeji..." Heejin said disappointedly.
"Wait, I thought you were talking about Yoohyeon," Yujin furrowed her eyebrows.
"I thought you were talking about me." Sooyoung added, feigning cluelessness.
"Be quiet!" The other two members said in unison, only making the red-haired woman smile proudly.
"I was talking about Yoohyeon," Heejin explained. "It's Minji's party, but Yoohyeon's the one who invited us."
It took a moment to process, but once everything clicked, I shouted, "Yah! Yoohyeon's not my girlfriend."
"Right, and Sooyoung's not attracted to women." Heejin muttered, making the maknae bust out laughing.
"Yah, watch it, hypocrite." Sooyoung raised her chin towards the youngest.
"She's the hypocrite." Yujin giggled, pointing at Heejin. "And she's not wrong."
"You're all missing the point here," the blonde took over, turning back towards me, "Y/N is the hypocrite."
"I-"
"Nope. You get no say in this." Heejin pointed a finger at me and then quickly put it down. "We all know you like her."
"Yep," Yujin confirmed.
Sooyoung coughed before muttering, "Simp," then looked around like nothing happened.
Even Yeji was nodding in agreement and I knew, at this point, arguing was useless.
"So, about that party..." I smiled sheepishly.
"Ayyyy," a couple of them yelled and Sooyoung ran over to put her arm around my shoulders and drag me out of the room. Before I could regret my decision, we were all packing into a van on our way to our company building.
~
When we got to HappyFace, the members of Dreamcatcher had prepared more for their little impromptu party than we had initially anticipated. I honestly thought we'd just be sitting, talking, and maybe eating, but Sua had apparently insisted on making the practice room into a dance floor/party room. We could hear the music blaring the second we stepped out of the van. We all ended up laughing, expecting no less from a group just as chaotic as ours.
Soon after we went inside, the girls split up, going to eat or dance. I ended up staying in the main room, eating snacks and making small talk with Handong. I hadn't seen Yoohyeon yet and I wondered if she even came or decided to stay back in the dorm. I figured, since she invited us, she would at least make an appearance at some point.
My wandering eyes must've given me away, because Dongie suddenly said, "She's in one of the vocal practice rooms."
I played innocent, "What?"
"Yoohyeon," the pink-haired woman explained, "I know that's who you're looking for." The knowing grin on her face sent heat rushing to my cheeks.
"That's not what I-"
"She insisted on staying in there," she continued, ignoring my protests, "I think something's making her nervous," she drew out with a smirk, causing my face to darken a shade. "Maybe you should go talk to her."
"Uh..." I stared dumbly.
"It's okay, I know you want to," Handong smiled what seemed like an actual genuine, comforting smile before shooing me away, "now go."
I sighed, getting up and walking towards the practice rooms reluctantly. I didn't want to admit that Handong was right, but I did want to talk to Yoohyeon. Although, the thought of being in a room with her alone made me nervous. Even just making eye contact was enough to make me completely forget any language known to man, so this encounter was sure to end with me making a fool out of myself.
As I neared the rooms, I heard quiet humming leaving one of them and figured it must be her since the other members were elsewhere and no one would be using these right now. The humming stopped abruptly when I knocked quietly on the door.
"Come in," that voice I had grown addicted to said gently.
I opened the door slowly, seeing that her back was turned to me and her hand was holding a pencil as she wrote in her notebook. The scene reminded me of earlier today and I wondered if she would overwork herself when she got anxious like I did. She was wearing a loose, multicolored flannel, tight, black adidas pants, and her usual converse shoes. Her brown hair was freshly cut into a bob style and time seemed to stop for a second when she looked back at me. I hadn't seen her in person since she changed her hair and suddenly I understood why everyone was talking about it. She was breathtaking.
"Hi?" She smiled shyly, probably not expecting me. I stood there staring at her, still struck by her beauty... so long that she ended up giggling.
"Sorry," I shook my head, looking at the ground and internally cursing myself for the blush I knew was on my cheeks. "I didn't mean to interrupt. I can leave if you-"
"No!" She shouted, making my eyes widen and dart back to her. "I mean, no, it's okay." She looked away, but I noticed her jaw clench. "I was just finishing up anyways."
I nodded with a smile, endeared that she didn't seem to want me to leave. Though, I realized, she couldn't see it, so I replied, "okay."
A few seconds of awkward silence passed between us. We used to be able talk hours on end without ever running out of things to say. But, lately, there was a strange tension between us and it made me wonder what changed. I mean, I know what changed for me... I developed feelings for her. But what changed for her? Or was I just the one making it awkward?
"Did you happen to watch that scary movie I told you about?" I asked randomly, resisting the urge to facepalm for picking that, out of everything, as the topic of conversation.
Yoohyeon laughed, turning her head to meet my eyes again, showing off her smile that always gave me butterflies. "Yeah, I did, actually."
I returned the smile, touched that she cared enough to follow through with my recommendations. "And?"
"It was good," she shrugged, "I liked it."
"I-is that it?"
"Well, you were kinda hyping it up a lot so maybe I was expecting more from it?" Yoohyeon drug the words out like she was asking a question, probably too afraid to outright say she didn't like it because she didn't want to ruin it for me.
"Yah. It was so good though," I argued.
"Was it really good or do you just have a crush on the hot Japanese lesbian character in it?" She blurted out, making my jaw drop. How was I supposed to respond to that? "Mhm, that's what I thought. You totally have a thing for Japanese girls."
"No, I really don't," I defended, but she wasn't even listening.
"What's with that by the way?" She kept going, "It's like you don't even like Korean girls."
I couldn't help but laugh. Ironic that she was the one saying that. "You have no idea." I muttered.
"Oh really?" She perked up. Why did I say that out loud? "So you do like Korean girls?" She asked and then all-too-eagerly gestured for me to come sit next to her. Why was she so interested in this?
I sighed, wiping my sweaty hands on my pants before walking over. "Yeah." I sat down. Yoohyeon stared at me for a second like she was checking to make sure I wasn't lying. The way her eyes were carefully scrutinizing my face started getting to me. I couldn't take when she looked at me like that. "What?" I said shyly, pushing her shoulder so that she'd stop staring.
"What?" She repeated with a laugh. "I can't look at you?" A teasing smile made its way onto her lips. This wasn't a new occurrence. Although, it was normally me intentionally making her panic. Now it was more often the other way around. The more times I noticed I couldn't keep eye contact with her the more I started to realized I liked her more than just a friend.
"You know that's not it," I blushed, still looking away.
"Then what?" Yoohyeon giggled, shoving my shoulder back.
"It's just-"
"It's just what?" She leaned forward, wanting me to look at her.
I smiled in my embarrassment. "Nothing. It's stupid anyways." I glanced at her a second to see her watching my expressions closely.
"Well now you have to tell me." She grinned, using the phrase we always used to when one of us wouldn't tell the other something.
I turned my head to her. "It's just..." She was perched on the edge of her seat, so eager for what I had to say. And God, I wanted so badly to tell her. Maybe she was hoping I'd admit my feelings. But how could I know? Maybe I could just go the safe route and compliment her. After what we were talking about earlier, maybe she'd get the hint. "You look..." pretty? No, she hates being called pretty. Beautiful? Is that even any different? I can't just say 'good' and 'handsome' seems a little weird right now. Maybe 'attractive'... no that sounds douchey-
"What, I look ugly?"
"No! No, of course not," I rushed out and we both ended up laughing.
"You look beautiful," I said, causing her to stop laughing and look at me.
When she realized I was being serious, she was the one to break eye contact. "Really?" She chuckled, her voice shaky. "I just got out of practice though," she brushed it off. "I think you're lying." She joked. I noticed she tended to do that any time we got serious like this.
"Really? I would've never guessed," I replied honestly. She seriously was completely and utterly clueless about how beautiful she was.
She met my eyes again, timid. "You're just saying that-"
"No, I mean, you look good in anything. Even your practice clothes." Her cheeks turned red and she laughed nervously while punching my shoulder.
"Shut up."
"Yah, I'm being serious." I laughed, pushing her hands away from me. "And I get why everyone likes your new hairstyle." She finally stopped attacking me and looked back at me. We just stared at each other for a moment and, as much as I hoped she realized I was being genuine, the sudden silence made me nervous again. "Really though. You look like a badass Black Widow or something," I finally broke the silence.
"Ooookay." She laughed and stood up. "Marvel nerd." She shoved me for the eightieth time tonight. "That's my cue to leave."
"Noooo," I cried dramatically, "don't leave me, unnie."
"Unnie?" She exclaimed with a laugh. "When have you ever called me that?" Before I could respond, she was walking out the door and turning off the light with me still inside. "That person's weird," she yelled back and I just imagined her pointing her finger back at the door.
Well, guess it's safe to say the compliment route didn't work...
~
About an hour passed and I hadn't talked to Yoohyeon any more. Some of my younger members had headed back to the dorm to rest and a couple others I had lost track of. Most of the older members started drinking and, with the majority of them being lightweights, let's just say... they were intoxicated. And Dreamcatcher + alcohol did not equal a pleasant mix.
I would find this out sooner rather than later when Sua came out of nowhere and started dragging me down the hall. I didn't have time to ask where she was taking me before she was pushing me through a doorway. The room it led to was dark with nothing but moving colored lights illuminating the surroundings and music blaring, similar to the practice room.
"Alright, we can start now," Sua shouted after closing the door behind me and running to the center of the room where a table was set up. Crowded around the table, I noticed Minji, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami, Sooyoung, and Heejin, along with Sua.
Sooyoung saw me and made her way over, pulling me further in the room. "There you are. We've been waiting for you." Her words came out slow and a little slurred.
"What's going on?" I asked. "And are you drunk?" Just as I tried to scold her for setting a bad example as our leader, Sua's loud voice cut in.
"Alriiiight, ladies," she clapped her hands together once, "first up is... drumroll please..." The girls around me started making drumroll noises with their mouths or tapped on the table with their fingers. It was pretty dark, so it was hard to make out their faces, but they all seemed to be smiling like they were doing something they shouldn't be. Sua tapped on the device in her hand and then smirked. "Yoohyeon!" she said, making the room erupt into cheers.
I looked over just as the tall member put her hands over her face in embarrassment. Clearly she was dreading being picked and I wondered what could be so bad that she didn't want to do. Sua nudged the brunette forward a little towards the table. "The party Gods have chosen you," a slap sounded, making Yoohyeon flinch. From my time around this group, I had a good feeling it came from the dancer spanking Yoohyeon's butt, "start stripping." I nearly choked on my own spit. Stripping??
Smacking Sooyoung next to me, I gave her a look that showed her how insane I thought this all was. "What did you drag me into?" I whisper-yelled, glad the music was loud enough and the room was dark enough to mask my panic.
"Just watch." She replied, much too calm for my liking.
Calm is the furthest thing away from what I was right now, and it only seemed to drift further and further out of reach as I watched Yoohyeon's shaky hands slowly start unbuttoning her flannel. One by one, from the bottom up, the buttons were let loose by her slim fingers, exposing a few more inches of her tan skin every time. Even with it being dark, the occasional flashing party lights danced across her torso, highlighting how taut the muscles were underneath her smooth skin. She wore only a tight, grey Calvin Klein bra underneath, making all the blood rush to my head.
Ignoring the hollering from her members and mine, she tugged on the sleeves and finally pulled the shirt all the way off. Dami grabbed it from her hands, but I barely even paid attention. I was too focused on her. My heart pounded in my chest as my eyes took in every inch of her skin: her strong neck, exposed collarbones, defined biceps, long torso, tiny waist. I nearly had to stop myself from stepping forward and tracing my fingers over the lines between her abs, it was so tempting. What I would give to just touch-
"You're staring," a low voice whispered to my side. I turned suddenly, growing embarrassed when I realized it was Siyeon who had caught me.
"And blushing," Sooyoung added, to which I responded with another slap on her shoulder.
"Am not," I defended, making Siyeon laugh.
"Wait 'til you see what comes next," the blue-haired vocalist teased, directing my eyes back to the shirtless girl.
My mouth went dry when she climbed onto the table and laid on her back as Sua stood over her. This couldn't possibly be leading anywhere good. Minji came from the other side of the room with a bottle of tequila and a few other items in her hands that I couldn't quite make out. Yep, this definitely wasn’t good.
"While Minji's getting everything ready, let's see who tonight's lucky participant is." Sua tapped on her device once more as the crowd started yelling again.
Yoohyeon looked anxiously around the room and I subconsciously scooted over so that Sooyoung was blocking her view of me. Meanwhile, Dami was helping pour a shot while Minji handed Yoohyeon a lime and started shaking something into her hand over the younger member's torso. When she was satisfied, she turned her hand over onto Yoohyeon's stomach and started spreading the white grains into a line down the middle, from the top of her bellybutton to the white band on her bra. Salt? Or sugar? Everyone else seemed to know what was happening, but I was growing more confused by the second.
"And, the lucky winner is..." the drumming noises picked up again and Sua seemed to drag it out longer this time. Her eyes glanced up from her phone to meet mine and a devilish grin took over her lips. Oh no. "Congratulations Y/NN," she mocked victoriously and somehow I knew from that look on her face that this wouldn't end well for me.
I froze, sure I was hearing things. I didn't even notice how Yoohyeon's cheeks had turned pink or that Sooyoung had walked behind me until I was being shoved towards the table. The girls in the room cheered, but I was hardly focused on them. Sua grabbed my arm, pulling me to the edge of the table and handed me something.
"What do I-"
"Drink this," she instructed, gesturing to the shot glass now in my left hand, "then all you have to do is finish it off with some salt and lime. It's that easy." Her calm voice nearly convinced me, but the hint of mischief in her eyes made me rethink. The laughter coming from the short silver-haired rapper confirmed my suspicions.
There's no way that's all I had to do.
Then, my eyes caught sight of the white line trailing down the center of Yoohyeon's abs. Salt. Her hand hesitantly reached up to her mouth to bite down on the fruit Minji had given her. Lime.
Well, fuck.
I looked over at Sua in utter disbelief. All she did was wink and say, "Go get her, tiger." She smacked me on the butt, sending me forward and forcing me to catch myself on either sides of the table next to Yoohyeon's ankles. I was positioned right between her legs, giving me a sickeningly attractive view of her body. Suddenly my head started spinning and my gut twisted. Now I was sure I'd pass out.
I didn't have time for that though when the whole room started chanting, "One-shot! One-shot! One-shot!" Sua had turned her phone flashlight on as an impromptu spotlight, so that everyone could see what was happening. Looking down at the liquor in my hand, I tried to convince myself that it wouldn't be that bad. The alcohol would help, right? Isn't that why they called it liquid courage?
I felt a bead of sweat drip down the back of my neck as I looked back at Yoohyeon. She didn't dare look up at me and it made my fingers numb. What was she thinking? Did she want this? Would it make her uncomfortable? It definitely felt like it was crossing a line. What if it made things weird between us? But, then again, things between us are already weird...
Screw it.
The girls cheered even louder when I put the shot glass to my lips and tilted my head back, downing the entire thing. Not even a second later I started feeling the effects of the liquor. It was like lightning traveling through my veins, electrifying my senses and making my mind go numb. I wasn't at all prepared for the adrenaline rush it would give me and suddenly doing this didn't seem like a bad idea at all. I wanted it, after all.
Jumping up to plant my knees on the table, I nearly toppled over onto the girl now below me before I caught myself. The alcohol certainly wasn't helping with coordination, but it did make me feel a million times more intensely as I looked down at Yoohyeon. The image of her from this angle was so overwhelming that chills ran across my skin. When she finally met my eyes, her own looked nervous and unsure. In that split second, I raised my eyebrow at her in a silent request for consent that I hoped she would understand. When she raised her own back and looked down at her stomach, I swallowed thickly. She was challenging me.
My hand instinctively brushed my hair back as I lowered myself over her body, causing the overdramatic idols surrounding us let out a few pterodactyl screeches. I grabbed her hips over her black athletic pants, noticing how her hands gripped the side of the table in anticipation, and looked down at the trail of salt starting just above her bellybutton, watching as her stomach moved up and down with her lungs. Her heart must've been beating as fast as mine, she was breathing so heavily. The taste of alcohol still stung the back of my throat, begging me to replace it with something different.
Here goes nothing.
I took a massive breath in before placing the tip of my tongue on her skin. I was glad I had chosen to hold her for support because she instinctively bucked her hips at the contact. This reaction went straight to my head and I flattened my tongue on the way up her smooth stomach in the hopes that she'd do it again. The salty taste quickly became too much, but I kept going, not ready to chicken out just yet. And I was thankful I didn't when she inhaled sharply and arched her back off the table, forcing my nose to brush against her skin. My hands had moved higher on her waist to push her back against the table, allowing me to feel the goosebumps I had left in my wake. Once I finally managed to make it all the way to her bra, her muscles tighten underneath me because of what she knew was coming next and I could've swore I heard her whine when I pulled back.
Raising my head to get a look at her, I had to clench my teeth to stop an ungodly sound from leaving my mouth. Her neck was strained as she tilted her head back with her eyes closed and her teeth clenched around the lime slice between her lips for likely the same reason I was forcing mine closed. Or maybe that was wishful thinking and her body language was really alluding to her discomfort. The thought made me embarrassed for being so aroused by what had just happened. How could I be sure that she was enjoying this too?
By now, I had completely blocked out the people around us, only able to hear the blood pounding in my ears. Just being this close to her and feeling her chest rise and fall against mine made me feel like I was burning alive in the best way possible. So when she finally opened her eyes to let me see that they had now turned a shade darker, that fire burned even hotter. Maybe she was enjoying this. Her chin tilted upwards while she stared intensely into my eyes. It seemed obvious she was offering me the lime between her teeth, but something in her stare felt like she was daring me to do more.
I stayed there for a moment, just looking down at her, frozen. The nerves and doubts started to creep back in as I glanced back and forth between her eyes, almost forcing me off that table. Almost. But then Yoohyeon glanced down at my lips and cocked her eyebrow just like I had done earlier. The simple action felt like she was confirming that she was feeling everything I had been feeling and wanted me to keep going.
So, I slowly leaned down, feeling her eyes on me every second. When I reached the lime, my bottom lip brushed against hers, making her inhale through her nose and bite down harder. One of her hands darted to my jaw as I tilted my head to grab the lime from her with my teeth. She let me take it into my own mouth, watching as I bit down into the fruit, licking her own lips. The sour taste topped off my heightened senses, and now, all I wanted to taste was her.
With her bottom lip now caught between her teeth, she moved her hand to take the lime from my mouth. I allowed her to throw it on the ground and licked the rest of the juice from my own lips. Her eyes followed my tongue and stayed on my lips. After a few seconds that felt like hours, she put her hand on the back of my neck to pull me down and there was no doubt in my mind that she was going to kiss me. She didn't even care that other people were looking, it was only me and her ... except, it wasn't.
"Okay, enough fun lovebirds." Sua's voice rudely interrupted, bringing the rapidly escalating moment to a full stop. "Go get a room or something." She shoved me off of Yoohyeon and I would've fallen off the table had Sooyoung not been there to catch me.
I had been so invested in that moment that it felt like sensory overload when my hearing tuned back in to everything around me. Sooyoung held me up straight and shook my shoulders, trying to bring me back down to planet Earth. "Uhm, what the fuck just happened?!" She nearly yelled, pulling me to the side of the room, away from the table.
I looked over my shoulder to see Yoohyeon glancing back at me while Dami put her shirt back on her. The shiny line on her abdomen made me bite the side of my tongue, remembering the taste of salt and the feeling of her warm, soft skin underneath it. "You tell me," I replied, unable to pull my eyes away from the brunette. She was going to kiss me. The pit of my stomach tingled at the thought.
"Dude," Sooyoung turned me so that I was finally looking at her, "you're fucking crazy." I tried to ignore her, the last thing I needed right now was a lecture. Instead I tried looking for Yoohyeon, who, in the split second I had turned away, had vanished. "I don't think they were actually expecting you to do it," Sooyoung admitted.
"What?" I immediately turned back to her, now angry. "You mean they set this up as a... as a joke?"
"No it's-"
"And you let me do it?" I yelled, ripping my arm out of her hold and glaring at her.
"To be fair, I didn't think you would," Sooyoung tried to reason, but it was too late. Now I was overthinking everything. What if she wasn't really trying to kiss me?
"I gotta go," I said and walked to the door, not waiting for a reply.
"Wait, Y/N!" Sooyoung yelled after me, but I was already gone.
~
Feeling overwhelmed by embarrassment, I rushed through the company halls, hoping to escape this place before anyone could stop me. I was so sure of the fact that I had made Yoohyeon uncomfortable that I felt ashamed and disgusted with myself. She was my friend, why would I think that was a good idea? I should've known doing something that foolish would have repercussions. I was just so wrapped up in the idea that she might've actually liked me as much as I liked her. When, in reality, that was probably farthest from the truth.
Now I was sure things between us could never be the same again. How could I ever face her knowing how I made her feel? Maybe it would be best if I tried to avoid her all together. It might be tricky being forced to use the same tiny company building, but maybe I could manage it. I had to.
Ironically, as I paced down the hallway in my trek to the exit, the door to a vocal practice room opened to reveal the very girl I was desperately trying to evade. When she noticed it was me, her gaze was so intense that I felt the need to start spewing apologies as I tried to leave.
"I'm really sorry and I know you probably hate me now, so I'll just go before I make things wo-" She stepped forward and grabbed my arm, yanking me into the practice room with her. I could only assume she was angry when she slammed the door and turned to forcefully shove me back against the wall.
"Yooh-" I tried to apologize again, but suddenly her lips were pressing roughly into mine, catching me completely off guard. There was no time to react when she reached up to hold onto my neck tightly, whether for support or to stop me from pushing her off, I wasn't sure. All air left my lungs at the sensation and the desperation in her kisses convinced me it was the latter. She wanted this. Badly. And she wasn't going to let me be the one to stop her. Not that I wanted to anyways, even with how utterly confused this was making me.
The way her lips relentlessly attacked me, capturing my bottom lip, only to release it, push further into me, tilt her head a little in the other direction, and trade it for my top lip—like she was starved for a taste of me and couldn't get as much as she wanted quick enough—made my brain foggy. The veil of lust overtaking my mind only got worse when I started running out of air and it seemed apparent that Yoohyeon wasn't planning on letting me go anytime soon. I had no idea my earlier actions had managed to stoke the long-burning flame she had inside of her for me and now it engulfed her into a fire too hot to be put out.
As much as I would've gladly continued providing fuel—because the feeling of its irresistible flames now catching fire inside my own chest and spreading throughout my body was torturously addicting—my lungs burned painfully, begging for the oxygen she had stolen from them, and my tongue stung with the bitter taste of alcohol coming from her own lips. These bold actions struck me as uncharacteristic for the usually polite and occasionally shy woman and I started to realize she was likely acting under the influence, her intuition clouded by intoxication. This thought gave me the final ounce of willpower I needed to raise my own hands to her cheeks and push my thumbs against her chin to separate our lips.
"What are you doing?" I asked with a huff as my lungs made a violent effort to refill themselves, hindered by the strain my beating heart had on the amount of air they allowed in.
My eyes were blown wide while hers slowly fluttered open, hooded with lust once they met mine. Our lips were still just centimeters apart and somehow looking at her now had me more panicked than when she was practically on top of me, making out with me. Seeing her features up close and knowing that it really was her who initiated this (and I wasn't in some sort of lucid dream) was almost too much to handle.
"I've wanted to do that for so long," Yoohyeon whispered, biting her bottom lip as if to savor the taste I left on it and leaning impossibly further into me so that our noses were touching as she stared into my eyes. It was definitely too much to handle.
Even with just one sentence, I started doubting everything. She's wanted to do this for a long time. Meaning she's thought about it multiple times in the past, but never acted on it. Meaning she might actually like me more than a friend. Except the faint smell of alcohol on her breath still itched at the back of my mind, unwilling to be ignored. People do plenty of things they'd never do sober once intoxicated. It clouds your judgement, blurring the line between what's right and wrong. So, what if it was just the alcohol talking? What if she didn't really mean it? If anything, she was probably just drunk and horny and I happened to be in the right place at the right time, making her feel feelings that weren't actually there before she started drinking.
Yoohyeon seemed to grow impatient as I stood there, frozen in my internal battle, unsure of how to proceed. She didn't need my go-ahead anyways, she was going to decide for the both of us. And that decision manifested itself in her fingers trailing up the length of my neck, weaving themselves into my hair at the base of my skull, and her tongue taking advantage of my parted lips from the gasp her actions had elicited, swiping across my own without warning.
Feeling helpless and mildly pitiful from how much of a mess she had managed to make me within the span of a few seconds, all I could do was blindly reach down to clutch her slim waist for support. Though she seemed to take it to mean something completely different when she hummed and pressed herself against my right thigh. With her legs on either side of mine, I nearly lost balance, forcing me to pull her waist further into me. My thigh consequently put pressure against the spot between her legs, causing her to let out a high-pitched noise into my mouth.
Oh my god.
Was she really this turned on? Had I made her this turned on? No, I couldn't handle the thought. It was too much. Even if everything she said was true and she felt all these things for me, it was wrong to let her go on in this state.
"Wait," I mumbled when she pulled back for a second, but she ignored me, kissing my bottom lip with such force that she might as well have been biting it. At that thought, images of the lime clenched between her teeth from before flashed through my mind and I caught myself wondering what my lip might've felt like there instead.
Her steady rhythm of swiping her tongue into my mouth and finishing by closing her mouth and capturing my lips before pulling away to do the same again was slowly driving me crazy and had my brain picturing scenarios between us much worse than her simply biting my lip. With the way her hands started dragging down over my collarbones on a clear mission to get a feel for what was hiding under my clothes, I knew she was likely imagining the same. I needed to stop her before this got too far out of control.
I took advantage of the fact that her fingers were no longer holding onto anything to use my own to push her shoulders back. Luckily she didn't immediately crash back into me this time since she had finally run out of air completely. We both inhaled and exhaled heavily and her nose found it's way to bump against mine like she still couldn't stand not touching me. I allowed her a second to open her eyes and when I saw them dart back to my mouth, I rushed to put my thumb over her lips. Her gaze flitted back up to my own and, despite my attempt to calm her down, she seemed to like it a little too much.
I moved my thumb down so it was resting on her chin instead and whispered, "we shouldn't be doing this."
Yoohyeon grabbed my hand that was holding her face, wrapping her thumb around my own. "Why not?" She whispered back, raising her eyebrow and sending me a look that I knew was dangerous.
"You're drunk," I answered, my voice a little louder this time. It became clear to me that nearly everything I had been doing and saying she took as me trying to turn her on. But this wasn't some game I was playing. Not anymore.
"I'm not drunk," she stood up straight and, as if on cue, wobbled backwards as she lost her balance. I was able to pull her in by her waist before she could topple over. "Okay, maybe a little," she giggled, making herself comfortable again with her arms wrapping securely around my neck.
I glared back at her as a warning, but the smile brought on by her laughter remained on her face, showing off her dimples. My attempts to make logical decisions continued to dwindle and fail. The more I tried to think everything through, the realer it became. And the realer it became, the more I realized that this might be the only time I'd ever get what I truly wanted. Her. That thought alone was enough to make me give up any attempts of stopping her. Of course, it didn't help that she was also playing the part incredibly well.
In that moment of internal debate, while I was busy convincing myself to stop her, she was busy getting lost in my eyes. "I like you," she admitted so quietly that I almost didn't hear it, making my heart stop all together.
Damn you, Kim Yoohyeon, for being so convincing. For these feelings spilling out of me like a hopeless romantic who can't help but hang onto your every word, even in your drunken state. For stealing my heart and holding it right out in front of me, reminding me who’s really in control of it. And for doing it all so easily, acting like you're totally oblivious to the hold you have on me.
But, then again, maybe you were, and that was the problem.
"You don't really mean that," I stated, practically begging that she'd just agree and drop it right there so I could stop holding onto hope. I was so tired of questioning every single thing she did and said. Couldn't she just bury it for good?
But, no. "I do," she insisted. Like her kisses before, she seemed desperate to prove it to me. It had me wondering for a moment if she was as dependent on me to validate her feelings as I was on her. But I quickly shook the ridiculous thought away.
"No," I sighed, "Yoohyeon-"
"What's that saying?..." she trailed off, ignoring me again, "drunken thoughts are sober words." Her eyebrows furrowed, "wait no. Sober thoughts-"
"The fact that you can't even form a coherent sentence right now is really not helping your case." I tried to sound serious, but I couldn't stop the hint of a smile gracing my lips. One more thing to add to that list: damn you for being such a cute drunk.
The brunette pouted, and her brown eyes shined in the hallway light peeking through the door, making her resemble a puppy dog. Case in point.
"I want to believe you," I told her, no need whatsoever to fake the honesty in my voice, "but you're obviously not in your right mind." I couldn't be sure she was really listening intently like she appeared to be, but I was just glad she had given up on her attempt to quiet me with more kisses (well, not entirely glad, but, you know). "I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of you."
When I was finished, Yoohyeon whined and buried her nose in my neck. "I hate that you're such a good person sometimes." I squeezed her sides, pulling her closer so that her chest was flush against mine. I could feel her heartbeat, just as unstable as mine from earlier.
It was still proving incredibly difficult not to let go of reason completely and allow her to continue doing whatever she wanted to me when she was being like this. So many times in the past we had only joked about anything to do with relationships, always tiptoeing around the dangerous waters of our feelings for each other, but, this was the first rare moment where she was finally bold enough to dive headfirst into them. And, with her next words, she pulled off her last final trick to drag me down under the surface with her.
"Cause all I can think about is you on top of me on that table and the way your tongue felt against my skin," she whispered in my ear as her lips teasingly brushed across the sensitive skin just beneath my jawline.
Oh my god, I thought, except this time it left my mouth and had Yoohyeon giggling before her lips began claiming their territory on my neck. Though, it was less a cute giggle and more an evil one, like she enjoyed saying such explicit things because of the reactions she could get out of me. So much for being a cute drunk.
The sensation of her plump, velvety lips sucking down on my skin was slowly overriding all the thoughts in my mind. "I really need to take you home," I said, more to remind myself than to tell her. She hummed and I felt her smile against my neck. "Not like that," I tried to explain, but it was obvious she wasn't really listening. "Hey," pulling her away from me, I tilted her chin up so that we stood face to face once again. She gulped, looking up at me like she was completely innocent. "You're probably not even gonna remember this," I said under my breath and shook my head.
Still, I took a deep breath and looked back at her. "I like you, too, okay? And, God," I leaned into her, resisting the urge to feel her intoxicating lips against mine just one last time, "I want this more than you could possibly know." The obvious desperation in my tone made Yoohyeon smile proudly. "But I don't want this to just be a drunken mistake that you regret in the morning." Her lips turned down into a frown at that.
Really, knowing her regretting this was a distinct possibility hurt. A lot. And now I was thinking maybe it would be better off if she did forget this whole thing ever happened. "So you're gonna let me take you home, and if you still feel the same way in the morning, then maybe we can talk." For once, I could finally tell the sentimental look in her eyes was genuine and not another one of her deceiving tricks. "Deal?"
Yoohyeon pressed her lips together. "Deal.”

My thoughts on... Black Widow 2020 (#11-15) "Die By The Blade"
So I've already arrived at the end of this amazing run! I was pretty sad to see it end so soon considering it has been absolutely phenominal. I will say, it manages to give a relatively solid ending for a comic run that ended so soon. It was really interesting to seem them continue to dive into Nat's grief for her lost family and how it's affecting her. Her trying to find them not only because she wanted to see them but also because if she or her people could find them, so would anyone of her enemies. Also the continuous flashbacks of her past lives and her slowly accepting that she could never have that life back was pretty gutwrenching. Because in the end of this run, she doesn't really overcome her grief, she just accepts that it's going to be a part of her. And that's super tragic. I really liked the bond Anya and Lucy built with each other. It was fun seeing them banter together and have fun together while both being mentored by the Black & White Widow. The addition of Hawkeye and Winter Soldier to the team was quite interesting and really changed up the dynamic a bit. Because you have these youngsters with Anya and Lucy who are still fresh to everything and Nat has to adjust to that. But with Hawkeye and Winter Soldier she has some more experienced heroes in her arsenal that she can rely on in different ways. It was really cool to see how both young and old brought their advantages to the team that made up for an amazing squad! Issue #13 really stood out to me. Seeing the backstory behind Nat and the Living Blade was so interesting and the way it was visualized with such an unique artstyle was really good. It was great to see a villain that genuinely terrifies Nat. Up until now it always seemed like she had the upper hand against her enemies in the end. But with the Living Blade it genuinely felt like this wasn't the case. Especially with how terrified Nat was. This was the first time I saw her going into a fight where she already expected to lose and die. It was quite the surprise to see her have someone who genuinely terrifies her like that. I do wish we would've gotten a bit more on the Living Blade. I get his entire character is supposed to be mysterious but it was quite annoying to see it never gets revealed why he's after Nat, why he stopped the first time and why he wanted to buy someone with regeneration powers. I feel those questions should've at least gotten answered considering how important they were to the plot. The Apogee storyline was tied up pretty nicely I feel within what they could do in such little issues. I also would've loved if we had to chance to know just a little bit more about Lucy. As of now she's pretty much a blank page besides some surface level info. So I hope they explore it somewhere in the future. Nat's and Yelena's dynamic continues to be a highlight. It's so interesting to see them together and how they both operate. They both have such different habits and mindsets when it comes to certain stuff. I really wondered how their dynamic would've evolved if this run was longer. Because I definitely feel there would've been a boiling point where their frustrations with each would cause them to split temporarily or something. Although I will say they're pretty great at making compromises with each other!
The art was once again just mindblowingly awesome! From the unique art of issue #13 to all the amazing fight sequences and the amazing gala costumes everyone was wearing. The art is defintely one of the absolute highlights of this run. It's just so incredibly good. It was really sad to see this run come to an end so soon. I would've defintely loved to read a ton more issues of this run. The writing and art was just top notch. The entire vibe of this run was so unique really and just stands out so much. They really nailed the tone they wanted to go for so hard. I will say they did a great job tying up everything within such little issues although I do am a bit unsatisfied with how the Living Blade storyline ended. Felt like there was a lot more to that than we got to see and read. Hopefully it gets fully explored one day. There is so much left to explore from this run that I genuinely hope they're able to revisit this run and continue it somehow. I had an absolute blast with it so it was quite sad to see it end. But I absolutely loved every second reading it!

"because you took mine. again." alhaitham's glare is unmatched. if it was directed to a person, the poor folk would've been six feet underground. but it was directed at keys. the keys currently in kaveh's hand. your keys. the same exact keys to his house that he gave to you. so why did your keys, the one with the matching keychain with his, ended up in his roommate's hold?
"give me that." alhaitham snatches the keys. kaveh, shocked and caught off guard, immediately chases after him. "hey! y/n lent it to me!"
"i know. i'll hand it back to them." he hears alhaitham grumble under his breath. knowing how stubborn he can get when it comes to you, kaveh sighs, trudging back to his room, thinking about how to get back his own set of keys.
meanwhile, alhaitham safely keeps your keys in his drawer before glaring at the set of keys that certainly doesn't belong to him nor does it belong to you, laid atop his desk.
"didn't she get married to her ex's brother?"
"she did?! i thought she married her brother's friend."
"no! it was her ex's brother." alhaitham sits silently beside you, holding his book. with how often you're over at his house, he's gotten used used to your daily gossip session with kaveh while doing each other's skincare and hair. he feels a nudge on his arm when he tries to flip a page. he glances at you, fighting back a grin as he sees you unconsciously leaning your back on his shoulder.
alhaitham holds the book with one hand, the other casually looping around your waist. you don't seem to mind, he notes, still immersed in the most recent gossip going around town.
"i'm home!" kaveh sighs, another day of work done. he deserves a pat in the back. he walks in and sees you sitting on the living room couch. or maybe he deserves a big hug from his best friend. he gleefully hops towards you, dropping mehrak on the floor, an anguish beep coming from the fella. however, kaveh halts in his steps upon seeing alhaitham staring him down from the kitchen.
don't you dare, alhaitham seems to say. kaveh only stuck out his tongue before going back to stomping over to you with a whine escaping him.
"i had a hard day at work!" kaveh pouts, like a child, before slumping over you. alhaitham inwardly curses. sometimes, he wonders if it's better to not return kaveh's keys to him. maybe he should do that next time.
"what happened next?" alhaitham loves spending time with you. it doesn't matter what you guys are doing, as long as you're together. cheesy, he knows. but he'll tolerate it as long as it's you. (still cheesy i know)
right now, he's sat on the couch with you cuddled up in him. an arm around your waist, his chin on your shoulder as your back leans on his chest and his other hand holding up a book. he was just reading thirty minutes ago. until you barged in, plopped down on his lap and demanded him to read to you out loud.
alhaitham, to a certain level, knows that he's not really the most fun to be with. so, best to say, he appreciates your enthusiasm on the things he loves, like reading, reading, more reading. oh, did i mention reading? your constant quips about what happens next or why did a character react like that, he likes it all.
a solemn moment like this can only be disrupted by the sudden banging on the front door. yeah, maybe he should've returned kaveh's keys..
likes and reblogs are appreciated! masterlist

Hello, love your blog. What are your thoughts about Yandere Batfam with an civilian s/o who’s very optimistic and sweet?
[Oh hell yes. ]
Batman/Bruce Wayne:
The play boy billionaire doesn't try to interfere with your life all to much. He does occasionally, "check in" with you when he's Batman. Watching you get home from getting groceries when on patrol so no one is suspicious.
But you notice.
"Hi Batman," you say with a smile. Watching the superhero/vigilante eyes widen from the dark shadows of Gotham. Rummaging through one of your bags, pulling out a box of store bought cupcakes.
"Thanks, for looking after me and all!" You say politely, nodding at him as he cautiously takes the dessert. His mind barking at him.
You noticed him.
His efforts.
You shouldn't have.
-
Nightwing/Dick Grayson:
The eldest of former Robin's would easily spot you from the crowd of pedestrians. Often showing off when a villian approaches and beating them to a pulp when they ruined your normal schedule.
Nightwing would talk to you without the mask frequently. Wanting you to love him for him, without the black and blue costume. Bringing out all his charm and some that Bruce taught him. Sure your friends and all, but he wants, no, expects more.
"Hey~!"
"Hiya Dick!" You greet him warmly, your cup of coffee burning your hands as you wait for the train. "I didn't know you would be taking the train today?"
"Yeah, cars in the shop." He said with a bashful grin. You scoff, but laugh at him. "Isn't it always?" You say with a eye roll, sipping your coffee as Dick scoots closer to you.
-
Red Hood/Jason Todd:
Jason was one for romance, but in stories. Color him suprised when he met you. To him, you make him belive there's hope for normalcy in his odd life. He wants to protect you from the blood and screaming in the streets of Gotham. Knowing that this city will chew you up and make you someone you wish you weren't.
Sure, he's not the hero-ing type, not much, anymore. But he'd rather kill villains and even innocent people to make sure your safe.
"WOW, that looks ruff buddy. You doin' okay?"
You ask Jason, noticing the splotches of red coloring his clothes. A simple book in his hand as he chuckles. "I'm good, don't worry. Fell on some paint earlier in the day."
-
Red Robin/Time Drake:
The Red Robin has you on his phone page, laptop, whatever device, has you on it. Definitely the creepy shy guy next door kinda vibe. In his normal attire, he's vying for your attention whenever he has a chance. As Red Robin, he flaunts himself like Dick and Jason. Only of you are around.
"Hmh?" You hear the shutter of clicks from above, looking up from the street road. You see a black mask and white dots stare down at you. You raise a hand and wave as more clicks follow after.
You shrug it off and continue your way. Knowing the boy wonder was probably taking photos of the streets for super hero purposes.
-
Ronin/Damien Wayne:
Much like his father. He watches over you constantly and has started fights over you like Jason. To which your non-the-wiser. Damien is pretty much all of the batfam yandere tendencies, he did learn for them and it is inherented
"Damien, you and I know both know that was dumb." You mutter, Damien scoffs at you. "They dishonored you, they should've gotten a worser punishment." "You and your chivalry.."
-
[Hope you like it!]

Milk and cookies 28, Greek Fire 29
What do they do when they’re away from each other?
You mean besides a lot of thinking about each other and counting the time until they're together again? 😆
They message each other, like, a lot, and call when they know they can talk. If they can't reach each other, they take pictures of places they come across that they think the other would like and (if not in settlements) mark their coordinates to visit together later.
They collect things that remind them of the other and carry them as a sort of scrapbook to feel like the other is there with them. For example, Ruby has a collection of leaves that have fallen near her and made her think of Pyrrha whilst she was away, part of a poster advertising the Vytal Festival with Pyrrha on it that she came across on a mission, a postcard from Argus advertising it as the home of Pyrrha Nikos from when she ended up there once, and so on.
Pyrrha has a flattened bullet casing of the same calibre as Crescent Rose, a pressed grey rose that reminds her of Ruby's eyes (opposite the former; the faint blended scents of rose and gun oil enhance the memories), a piece of a page from a fairytale book with an illustration of a girl in a red cloak, and whatnot.
One headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart
Okay, this one is way off the show's events and thus requires a bit of explanation, so bear with me.
Pyrrha and Yang began dating during their second semester (i.e., v2) and it was something of a whirlwind romance. They got very close, very fast.
When Beacon was attacked, Yang didn't know where Pyrrha was so, worried terribly but not going to shirk her duty as a partner nor leave a friend alone, went with Blake. Pyrrha meanwhile went with Ozpin to do the transfer, then up to fight Cinder, however without Jaune there she made the call for help first and didn't push him into the locker with her semblance, giving her enough aura to last another second or so in the fight, resulting in Ruby getting there just a bit earlier, relatively speaking. Unfortunately, although Ruby getting there a bit earlier saved Pyrrha, it was at the cost of her own life; she placed herself between Cinder and Pyrrha and wouldn't move, and although she did end up triggering her eye blast in a last, desperate attempt to protect her friend, she was already mortally wounded.
When Pyrrha and Yang reunited afterward, Ruby's death caused a deep rift to form between them. Yang lashed out, too hurt by loss — of her arm, her sister, her new home and the friends that fell there — to process it, too deep in her grief to understand that the anger she felt was towards herself. She might say it was Pyrrha's fault that Ruby was there, that she got her killed, but in truth she blamed herself. She should've been there, it was her responsibility to protect her girlfriend and her sister and she failed them both.
Yang's words nevertheless cut Pyrrha deeply, because to her they rang true. It was her fault. She was the Invincible Girl, the one chosen to save the world; that was her destiny, and yet she'd failed utterly, and not only had she failed, she'd gotten her dearest's sister — who was still a child and precious to her as if she were her sister as well — killed in her stead. So, taking Yang's outburst to heart, she left with the rest of her team to seek out Cinder and make her pay for what she'd done. She could do that for Yang at least — and for Ruby — even if she never wanted to see her again.
Of course Yang didn't want that at all, she was just hurting and didn't know how to deal with it, but Pyrrha didn't stop in to tell her she was leaving so as to not hurt her more, she just left a letter. So, by the time Yang knew what had happened, Pyrrha was gone with the entire rest of her friend group that was still around. And with the Beacon CCT destroyed, Yang had no way to contact her and knew only that she was likely to check Haven for clues thanks to Qrow.
Yang felt abandoned when she needed support more than she ever had in her life, when she'd lost practically her whole world. Pyrrha felt like she'd lost everything she was and, perhaps worse, the woman who'd claimed her heart now hated her… and was right to. It would be months on end before they had a chance to clear the air.

DBS COLORING BOOK CHAPTER 74 REVIEW
*spoilers* I liked this chapter in isolation.
*spoilery spoilers* I dislike this chapter when comparing it to other chapters.
Here's the battle Vegeta fans have been waiting for...! (Glad I lowered my greatly expectations)
First, let's talk about use of panels real quick. When there is action, Toyo has done better and uses about 6 panels max to convey the fight. But when there is dialogue, he uses too many panels. Like 7 to 9 panels on one page. That is too much for dialogue. And he has pointless reaction shots often.
It begins with the axolotl inspired Sugarians leaving their fishbowl homes through cleaning-tube roadways. I like their aquarium-like city and their buildings.
And here we are on page 2 with the Toyotaro dialogue. 😒 How can I tell? Compare it to Dragon Ball and you can easily tell the difference between Toriyama's dialogue & Toyotaro's dialogue. (Toriyama has been more focused with working on the DBS movies. I highly doubt he contributes as much to the manga as some fans believe.)
Vegeta sounds like Mr. Satan when calling fusion and cloning "tricks" lol. And no, I doubt Vegeta's Forced Spirit Fission would work on Granolah. Granolah split himself in 2 with a technique. It is still all Granolah & he hasn't absorbed anyone. Forced Spirit Fission is useless here.
Granolah sure is chatty again after he kept saying how he really really wants to kill these Saiyans. Vegeta tells him he parted ways with Freeza and he is an enemy now, as to which Granolah laughs. Granolah thinks Vegeta is betraying Freeza to spare his own life. This just let's us know what kind of person Granolah is...
Granolah is a nonsensical idiot who doesn't know how to reason well & doesn't listen to truth because he assumes he is already right. I don't like ppl like him who refuse to grow mentally. I went from liking Granolah, to not caring about his bland personality, to disliking him. 😑
Oatmeel's input is pointless because he doesn't sway Granolah into believing the Saiyans may not be lying. He quickly gives up and becomes quiet. Vegeta informs Granolah that he was a child when Planet Cereal's ppl were killed and wasn't part of the attack. But he doesn't care and Paragus wants revenge against the royal family... I mean, Baby wants revenge on all Saiya... Granolah wants to kill all Saiyans.
Then we get Vegeta saying he will kill Granolah after barely talking to the guy who was willing to talk. I guess Vegeta just wants to fight and test his power instead of trying to redeem himself like earlier chapters implied and fans theorized. Throw that out the window.
He turns SSB Evolution & Hakai's large rocks around Granolah. But Granolah appears behind him and shows Vegeta true hakai. He elevates a big chunk of the ground & blows it up then the force pushes Vegeta to him and Granolah strikes him. Cool way to use the environment in battle.
Also, Granolah knows Hakai. He shows it off by using his own more powerful Hakai & suggests Vegeta's training with Beerus is lacking.
There is some cool looking art. Their fight moves from forest to river to lake. Interesting environment s for DB. Reminds me of the Cooler movie and the fights on Namek a bit.
This entire time, Vegeta is on the defensive and has to run. But, I find pages 16-21 silly.
Why is Vegeta swimming when he can fly through the water?! Swimming is slower & Granolah is firing fast ki blasts at him!
YOU: "But, Vegeta is swimming so Granolah can't detect his ki."
Granolah can see him! His right eye is supposed to see blood flow and stuff. He nearly hits him multiple times. And lets not forget he was sniping them long distance and his Goku in the neck and almost took him out. Why does Granolah need aim assist now? I'll tell ya why. To make Vegeta look more impressive than Goku by making Goku look like a poor fighter. And this was a Goku who was using Ultra Instinct and still got messed up by Granolah while Vegeta is just using SSB Evolution. Character sabotage... 😒
Back to my complaints about Vegeta swimming. The swimmin' would work in OG Dragon Ball but not here. It would work on Namek with Freeza who can't sense ki, but not here with Granolah who can sense ki (& maybe even god ki) & his eye can percieve all kinds of movements of the body.
And why does Vegeta momentarily pop up out the water then go hide back into it? Don't say its 'cause he needs to catch his breath. He aparently did training holding his breath while on the Heeter's ship, so he should be fine holding his breath. It was for a short period of time anyways. It just doesn't fit and is unnecessary in multiple ways.
Vegeta Hakai's Granolah's big blast to escape it and it blows him out of the water. Interesting kinda... Until you realize that Vegeta's training that we were shown was lame. He just Hakai'd logs & rocks! It should've shown him trying to Hakai ki blasts from Beerus. Make his training look cool darn it!
Chapter 70 Established that Hakai has changed. It no longer is just erasing things from existence in different ways. It has to have a *boom* explosion to it. So when Beerus Hakai'd Zamasu in chapter 19, there should've been an explosion instead of turning him into sand? So, now whenever the Hakai is used, there will always be an explosion...? I don't like how Toyo is quick to change what he set up just for his convenience...
Granolah brags about himself then Vegeta brags about himself-...! That's why I dislike Granolah! He's just like Vegeta! Maybe if I stop thinking of Granolah as a "good guy" then he will be cooler? I did like evil Vegeta as an evil character. We were supposed to hate him. So, if I imagine Granolah as an evil Vegeta... It worked! Granolah's unappealing attitude works perfectly if you view him as an evil enemy! (Still kinda preachy tho)
VEGETA: "But I'm still going to win."
Vegeta fans rejoice! Your prayers have been answered by the great Zalama! Vegeta announced victory...! Wait... I've seen this before... Yo... Vegeta fans, prepare for Vegeta to be defeated just in case. He has a record of announcing victory then ultimately losing. Don't get your hopes up too high.
Lol Granolah disses Vegeta's ego 👌. But Granolah is unknowingly talking about himself too XD. Dummies. Vegeta mocks him by calling him "Mr. Strongest" & Granolah has nothing to day. Granolah can dish it out but can't take it.
Goku wakes up and sees Vegeta fighting Granolah. Who cares? How are you gonna be caught off gaurd in a form that reacts on its own? Go back to sleep. I'm not mad at you, Goku. I'm just disappointed.
Vegeta fires a barrage of ki at Granolah and Granolah Hakai's them. Then Vegeta fools Ganolah into destroying an ancient city of the Cerelians.
VEGETA: "I can tell, you know... That you only recently acquired this absurd strength."
GRANOLAH: "How? How can you tell?"
VEGETA: "Thank you for confirming."
There's the Granolah we know. Quick to give out valuable info. Also, this is to make Vegeta appear "smarter" & a "better fighter" than Goku. Realistically, a master martial artist like Goku would be first to notice that Granolah recently acquired this kind of power. But, Goku is being dumbed down for Vegeta's sake.
VEGETA: "Need I repeat myself...? You may be stronger but... there's no gaurantee that I'll lose to you!" *attempts to break Granolah's leg*
So says the guy who always loses unless the opponent is weaker than him. But, he even lost to weaker opponents on Earth before, so....
Vegeta fans calm down, calm down. This is basic Vegeta dribble. Let's be real. When has Vegeta ever defeated an opponent that was stronger than himself? Never. When has Vegeta become stronger than his opponent and defeat them because they're weaker than him now? Always. Does Vegeta ever win when he is too cocky? Nope. This is to hype y'all up. Don't be mad if he loses. Y'all know this routine. The arc ain't even over so the chances of him winning are low.
Now let's examine Vegeta's fight in comparison to Goku's fight.
Goku goes through all his forms & uses Ultra Instinct in base, SSJ, SSG, SSB, & then goes silver haired UI when fighting Granolah. Then, he loses in every form. Vegeta goes straight to Blue Evolution and only seriously gets hurt once.
Goku keeps getting hit despite having a technique that is all about evasion. Vegeta gets hit far less & doesn't have Ultra Instinct.
Goku was struggling to fight a clone that was half the power of Granolah. Vegeta fights Granolah at his full power and struggles less.
Goku complains about his training and how he is struggling using his technique. Vegeta who had less time with Hakai training isn't complaining about struggling with Hakai.
Goku far surpassed Vegeta in the Moro arc, yet they are crippling Goku to let Vegeta catch up & make him look better. Vegeta has literally gotten a handout that he didnt have to work hard for in order to catch up with Goku... This chapter is fine when isolated and you aren't thinking about any other previous chapter. But, it is a convoluted mess when you look back at the previous chapters, the piss poor storytelling, & Vegeta's poor Hakai training that leads up to this chapter.
Where'd that "heroic" Vegeta and that "redemption" stuff go? Its as if Toyotaro decided he should stop tying to make Vegeta the hero & main character instead of Goku being the main. (Thank God.)
But... Vegeta says that he loves fights that are unpredictable?? That I disagree completely with. Vegeta wants fights to go in his favor through all of DBZ and will throw a fit when it doesn't.
In RoF: it was going in his favor so he loved it.
Destroyer Tournament arc: he didn't like that things didn't go his way in the end.
Future Trunks arc: he was upset when losing to Black, but loved it when he thought he was going to win.
ToP: angry when everyone else surpassed him, happy when he gained an upperhand, upset when he lost the upperhand.
Moro arc: Vegeta is upset that Moro is stronger but even more upset that Goku is stronger than him. When he is stronger than Moro he is loving it. Then when he loses the advantage, he is upset.
Vegeta doesn't love unpredictable fights, Goku does! Vegeta loves predictable fights in his favor.
Granolah asks how many lives were sacrificed for Vegeta's carnage. Vegeta doesn't answer. Why? Because its best to ignore the fact that he has killed billions of ppl so that Vegeta fans can ignore his bad actions (Yet many say that Vegeta has developed so much without acknowledging his terrible past). Can't have Vegeta looking like a bad guy in this chapter, right?
Oh boy! Page 37 is more "Vegeta hype!" He doesn't care about strongest or second strongest ('cause he has never been 1st place) & he basically explains Dragon Ball to us.
Roshi already taught Goku & Krillin that there will always be somebody stronger, so they need to keep reaching higher and higher.
If Vegeta is stronger than he was a few minutes ago, would that mean the same for Goku when he was fighting? Why did he perform so poorly? I wonder... 🤔
Granolah jabs Vegeta in the stomach, but Vegeta manages to slow it down (how come Goku using Ultra Instinct couldn't do that?). And cool. Blood. Anime has better writing and cool character development/moments. The manga has blood... Well, I guess blood is cooler to some ppl.
Vegeta is looking like Goku in the ToP before he attained UI. He has his head down & all. Vegeta just isn't talking about hownl much he sucks. Why does Goku keep insulting himself? N-nevermind. This is about Vegeta who keeps complimenting himself.
Why did Granolah become scared of Vegeta suddenly? Wouldn't he just see him as a mad dog and use his amazing power to put Vegeta down before he can do anything? He hates them so much, but keeps letting them live.
Uh oh... Vegeta doesn't like protecting and saving? BuT I tHoUgHt hE wAs a hErO! Where is his development going?? Ya mean the real development he had in the anime or the pseudo development in the manga?
But even after saying all that... I prefer manga Vegeta to be like this instead of a wannabe hero. Wannabe hero doesn't fit. This feels like Vegeta is in character again. I like this. I was just criticizing how Vegeta was written in past chapters in comparison to this one. A more chill Vegeta who loves battles? This is what I've wanted from DBS manga Vegeta for a long time!
Oh snap! Vegeta's transforming? I wonder what it will look like (thanks for the warning from the leaks 👍). Oil... Why are you even in this chapter? We don't care about you right now & you're boring without Maki. Goku says it ain't "any old god ki."
I wonder how Goku never knew about this new form if he and Vegeta trained on Beerus Planet together. Ya think he would've sensed and saw it & even wanted to fight against it.
So is this new form a spur of the moment thing? So Vegeta has a new form that he never trained... And he asks if Granolah has been training his new power on page 34... Sounds hypocritical of Vegeta, or he is being thrown a bone to make him look capable. Is Vegeta gonna pull a Golden Freeza by not training this new form? Or maybe a UI Goku at the ToP and lose the form?
Page 43, Granolah shoots tiny ki blasts at Vegeta's tower of flaming ki and he is surprised it did nothing. Why not try again but this time use that one big blast instead. No? Gonna let the guy of the race you hate finish transforming? Just gonna be scared and shocked to make Vegeta look impressive? Ok.
Pages 41, 44, & 45
Oh! Here it is! The new form...! Aaaand I still don't like it. Also, he healed up like Goku did last chapter too. Odd. Why does transforming heal them now? Didn't before.
No build up to make the form more cool, it's just
"Here, Vegeta. Goku has one more form than you do & he has mastered UI, so we can't let you fall too far behind. So I just pulled this crap transformation fresh outa my butt and gave it to you."
Another undeserved handout. Can you please make Vegeta earn a new form in the manga? PLEASE?!
Vegeta looks like he is in his own UI Omen form (like how Vegeta fans begged for Vegeta to get for the longest time). Dark hair with sone lighter coloured higlights, light coloured pupils, new aura. But this is what I see...
SSJ3ROSÉ of DESTRUCTION INSTINCT OMEN (or just "SSJ-ChexMix" for short)
Looks like in the end, Vegeta needed to resort to his own Ultra Instinct equivalent!
Oh no... I criticized Vegeta's bad writing too much! I bet some Vegeta fans are gonna automatically assume that I hate him because I want him to be written better without plotholes! 😱
IN CONCLUSION:
This chapter is good when isolated on its own. But, this chapter is filled with inconsistencies when you look back at previous chapters. Overall, it's... a mixed bag that I barely like. It's just so retarded that Goku had to be dragged through the mud just for Vegeta to look better. That is insulting to Vegeta and it either shows how much he sucks or or how weak the writing for Vegeta is. But we got what we got...
Wanna know how to make Vegeta look good without making Goku look pathetic? Goku never uses MUI! Goku defeats Granolah's clone with SSB. Then, Granolah merges back with his clone & catches SSB Goku by surprise and knocks him out.
Then, the reason why Vegeta seems to be doing better is because Vegeta is using SSBE, unlike SSB Goku who was caught off guard. Why make the MUI form & Goku both look like trash just to give Vegeta his own Ultra (Destructive) Intinct? Is Vegeta really that trash?! 😓😴
I don't wanna see the Heeters anymore. My hype for them died, but maybe a later chapter can make me like them more. Idk.
Where is my homie, Moniato?! 🐌 (BEST CHARACTER OF THE ARC SO FAR!)
Oh yeah...I was supposed to complain about not seeing Freeza again like I do every chapter... Who cares at this point? If Granolah is stronger than Goku & Vegeta, what can Freeza do? Hide for 3 yrs and let Granolah die?
What are my predictions for next chapter? More Vegeta wanking of course. More gloating & looking down on Granolah too. A battle of overinflated egos. Bad dialogue and decent to good art. I'll probably find it mostly boring but I may be surprised (that could be a good or bad thing). Vegeta will appear to be winning before...
Vegeta gets defeated & certain Vegeta fans will rage & be annoying. Those ones will complain about how Vegeta always gets the short end of the deal (that's what he gets for being shorter than Bulma & 12 cm taller than Krillin). This one should happen imo based off of Goku's performance.
Vegeta's fight will get interrupted before the battle ends so that Vegeta fans don't get angry. Make Vegeta fans feel that Vegeta could've won and keep them grasping on to hope. (How manipulative.) This one is most likely to happen to "satisfy" all fans.
Vegeta will win and Vegeta fans will rejoice & some will be very annoying. Despite the fact that he had terrible training, was handed a new form just to stay relevant, and Goku had to underperform & UI had to be nerfed just to make Vegeta look good. This one may happen just to appease Vegeta fans. (That is the worst outcome imo.) If Vegeta gets "a win/a W" against a main villain, make sure his training looks impressive and he has some sort of connection to the main bad guy. That way the victory feels well deserved.
If the final enemy is Freeza, then Vegeta defeating Granolah isn't "a win" against a major villain. Granolah will just be a bump in the road. He's already set up to not be a "bad guy." In the end, the main bad guy will be either Freeza, Gas, 7-3, or someone. Vegeta fans shouldn't care if Vegeta wins or loses against Granolah. He isn't the "final boss."

Sorry is a Sorry Word
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Henderson!Reader
Plot: Steve fucked up - bad. He doesn’t really know how, or if, he should say sorry, until Dustin gives him a pep talk.
W/C: 3.1k
A/N: Just now realising how long this is oops, sorry. My first Stranger Things fic! Finally. (watch this flop so hard lmao) Remember to like and reblog if you enjoy! It really helps me out. As always, requests are open and any and all feedback is appreciated <3
————
"Dustin, Please, just leave me alone." She lay back on her bed, tears streaming down her face and hair amiss from where she'd run her fingers through it. "I'm fine, I just...give me some time."
"But, we tell eachother everything." Her little brother sounded so small and defeated that it almost broke her heart in two. She could hear him leaning his back against the door, the back of his head thumping dully against the wood a second later. "I feel like we're drifting apart. You don't talk to me anymore."
"Dustin-"
"No, it's okay. Don't worry." Dustin cleared the remnants of his upset from his throat, "We can talk later. I get that you need time."
And with that, he'd left. She could hear his muffled footsteps on the carpeted floor of the hallway, walking away from her bedroom and back to his own. She knew that she wanted to talk to him and vent about all of the happenings of the day, but she couldn't bring herself to let her walls down in front of anyone about her current situation just yet.
It was Steve. And it was bad.
They'd been together for a year and ten months. He'd been there for her through thick and thin. Whenever their mom went MIA, something that happened more often than not, during the days and weeks and months that Y/N was left to take care of her thirteen year old brother on her own with no notice whatsoever, Steve was there. And he'd take Dustin out to the cinema, give him free ice cream, play Dungeons and Dragons with him and his friends - even though Steve had no idea how to play Dungeons and Dragons. He'd sleep over, make her feel like she wasn't alone. It filled her with pride to see him taking Dustin under his wing, more like a dad than even an older brother.
When they lost Hopper, who'd become more of a parental figure than she and Dustin's mom was to her, he was standing by her side at the funeral, hand grasping her own smaller one with force and squeezing it every so often, just to remind her that he was there. He was there after the funeral, too, when they went to the cabin and went through Hopper's things. He was there when she found the birthday present that Hopper had bought for her, a necklace with, 'you're pretty cool, kid', engraved on it. Hopper's way of saying that he loved her. It came with a letter, one that she cried so hard while reading that she couldn't see the words on the page.
The point was, that Steve had been there through everything. And now that they'd had a huge argument over - of all things - Nancy Wheeler, she was unsure of whether or not she'd have Steve to lean on anymore.
It wasn't so much a stupid argument as it was a stupid mistake on Steve's end. He even admitted to himself that what he'd done was more than a dick move. Tina was having a party, a big one, for old time's sake. Y/N wasn't invited, having been socially considered as 'uncool' while in High School, while Steve was invited. He said that it wasn't a big deal, it didn't matter, he wouldn't go.
Except that it was a big deal, it did matter, and, well, he did go.
He'd gotten really drunk, so drunk, in fact, that he had no recollection of the night at all and managed to stumble to Y/N's front door at five in the morning.
He'd told her that he went to the party, that he was sorry. She'd been mad, but she was so tired that she said she'd deal with it in the morning and told Steve to sleep it off on the sofa. Before going to sleep, however, Steve had told Y/N that he 'thought he might've kissed Nancy' that night.
They'd argued about it the next day. She'd dropped him off at home, neither of them speaking at all in the car, and they'd screamed at eachother in Steve's living room. Little did either of them know, Steve hadn't actually kissed Nancy, he was just so drunk that he made himself believe that he had. And then, Y/N told Steve that they were done, and he'd said 'fine', and she'd left and cried in her car for an hour.
And now, she was here. Crying on her bed, little brother probably thinking that one of her friends had died or something.
She hated herself for blowing up and flying off the handle and literally breaking up with Steve. Steve, on the other hand, hated himself for even going to the party, hated himself for - possibly - kissing Nancy, hated himself for going to Y/N's front door and waking her up so early in the morning.
In the grand scheme of things, Steve Harrington had been an asshole. And he was all too aware of it.
It had been around half an hour since she got home when Dustin knocked on the door again. This time, she'd managed to calm down enough to allow him to come inside. She looked horrifying, hair messed up, tear stained face, cuddling a pillow and wearing one of Steve's shirts, but Dustin was her brother, he had no right to judge her.
The door swung open slowly, and Dustin was there, grinning and holding two pints of ice cream, spoons, and some movies. "Thought we could put a movie on and eat. And you can tell me about your problems and I promise I'll listen."
"Is the ice cream cookie dough?" Y/N asked, sniffling, and a watery smile crossed her face. Dustin laughed, happy to see his sister perking up at least a little bit, even if it was over ice cream, and turned the carton to reveal to her that it was, in fact, cookie dough.
"Only the best." He tossed one of the cartons and a spoon at her, and turned on the TV set that sat across from her bed. "Besides, I know it's the only one you'll eat when you're sad."
"You know me entirely too well." She hugged her knees to her chest and dug into her ice cream, relishing in the taste of it for a second, "Oh my God, I haven't had this in so long. And the Scoops cookie dough is so bad."
"Right? I know Steve thinks it's the best, but he is so wrong." Little did Dustin know, one mention of his name would make Y/N's meltdown begin all over again. Soon enough, she was crying hot tears into her ice cream, and she allowed Dustin to lay his head on her shoulder while she explained everything.
"Okay, I have to go somewhere." Dustin knew what he had to do, and Y/N's eyebrows furrowed as he got swiftly up from her bed. "I'll be like, maybe half an hour. But you can eat my ice cream if it starts to melt."
"Dustin! Don't leave me!"
"Watch the movie!"
And then he was gone, and she was by herself, with only some ice cream and E.T. to keep her company.
Meanwhile, Dustin had found Steve at work. He was insanely hungover - although, the headache and sickness had gone away thanks to Robin and her Tylenol, but the tiredness still remained - and reminded Dustin faintly of a particular zombie in Day of the Dead when he walked into Family Video to find him leaning on the counter. The grim look on his face wasn't so much because of the hangover, though, it was more to do with the fact that he and his girlfriend of nearly two years had broken up half an hour ago, and he'd been forced to go to work.
"If you're here to talk to Steve, I wouldn't. He nearly punched me when I asked him if he wanted Tylenol. And I'm a girl." Robin stopped Dustin at the front door, a serious look on her face, but he shrugged her off.
"It's fine. He won't do anything. Besides, I know what this whole thing's about. That's why I'm here." He tried to walk off again, but Robin grabbed his upper arm, tugging him back and making him elaborate.
"Is it Y/N? I think there was a fight between them or something. He’s never looked this rough.” Robin looked concerned, and she was. She’d never seen Steve so upset before. “He was crying when he came in.” She added.
Dustin shrugged, “Yeah, I’m gonna talk to him. He’ll be fine tomorrow.” He decided not to give Robin any more information on the situation in case Y/N or Steve would've gotten mad at him for it.
"Henderson, hey." Steve said quietly when he noticed that Dustin had entered the store. He looked like he'd been crying, and Robin was definitely right when she said he’d never looked rougher. "If you're here to hang out-"
"I'm not here to hang out, Steve. We have to talk." Dustin crossed his arms sternly over his chest, raising his eyebrows and nodding his head in the direction of the store room. Steve grumbled and complied, unlocking the door and ushering Dustin inside.
"You have to apologise."
"Apologise? Apologise for - what exactly are we talking about?" Steve rubbed a hand exhaustedly over his face, leaning against a sealed box of movies that he was supposed to have put away by now.
"You know what for, Steve. Y/N. You hurt her. Like, really badly. I don't think I've ever seen her so upset." Steve already wanted Dustin to stop, but he continued, really wanting him to get the message of just how hurt his sister was. "She cried in her room for half an hour before she even let me talk to her, and now she's at home by herself, probably crying some more because you went to a stupid party. I mean, seriously man, couldn't you just have stayed home? What was so important about it?"
Steve threw his head back and hid his face with his hands, wanting the floor to open up and swallow him whole. He knew that he'd been a dick, he knew that he'd hurt her, but, Jesus, knowing the details made his heart flip in his chest and his stomach hurt. He hated seeing Y/N upset at the best of times, nevermind when it was his fault.
"Yeah. Yeah, I should've just left it. Jeez, Dustin, I'm such an asshole."
"Yes. An asshole, you are. And what was that other shit? About you kissing Nancy?"
"I didn't kiss Nancy, okay? My drunk mind just kinda...made me believe that I did. I called her today just to confirm." Steve swallowed, suddenly having the nausea of his hangover coming back to him.
"Does Y/N know that?" Dustin had his arms crossed, back against the wall, looking unimpressed as Steve shook his head. "Seriously man? Don't you think that the first thing you should've done after finding out that you didn't actually cheat on your girlfriend, was tell your girlfriend that you didn't actually cheat on her?"
"My head's all over the place, Henderson. Cut me some slack, okay?"
"You have to come say sorry, you know that, right?"
"I will. I will, I promise. I finish in an hour, why don't you go home, I'll buy some flowers, take a shower and get changed, and I'll come chap on your door like none of this even happened." Steve had suddenly perked up, gesturing with his arms and almost getting excited to initiate his plan.
"Yeah. Sure. But it better be good, Harrington. You better make her happy."
Steve didn't even have time to respond before Dustin was running off, getting on his bike, and cycling back home to his sister. He promised himself internally that he'd do all it took to make her happy.
Y/N had finished her ice cream and Dustin's had started to melt by the time he got home. She hadn't cried any more, had been too focussed on the movie, and Dustin was relieved to see her laughing at something on the screen when he entered her bedroom.
"Hey." She smiled. "Your ice cream's melting, you'd better eat it."
Dustin smiled and bellyflopped onto her bed, sending her into a fit of laughter. They both laughed so hard, in fact, that they barely heard the doorbell ring, and Dustin almost got up to go and get it.
He stopped himself though, not wanting Steve to call him an idiot or something along those lines. "You should go. I have to eat my ice cream before it melts." He said sheepishly, sitting back down from where he'd jumped up. Y/N rolled her eyes and threw the pillow that she was holding at Dustin's face.
"Alright, make your sad sister get the door because you have to eat ice cream." She stood up even as she spoke, knowing that Dustin wasn't going to budge. "Nice one, asshole."
Y/N had left her bedroom before Dustin could retaliate, bounding down the stairs and realising that, if anyone saw her the way that she looked now, they'd probably never respect her again. The doorbell went again, and she sighed quietly at the lack of patience from whoever was on the other side.
She - stupidly - didn't even bother to look out of the window that stood next to the door to check who it was before opening it, and nearly closed it again when she realised who was standing there.
"Hey, woah, don't close the door yet!" It was Steve, his eyes widened from the possibility that he'd come all the way to her house so that she could slam the door in his face, holding white lilies and a box of chocolates, which was - in Y/N's opinion - the cheesiest apology ever. "Just...listen? For like, a minute."
She slowly let her hand slide off of the door knob, watching as Steve relaxed a significant amount even from seeing her do that. "A minute." She crossed her arms over her chest, chewing her cheek. "You have a minute."
"Okay, uh, yeah, okay." Steve began his rambling. "Listen, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I know I shouldn't have gone to that party, I know I shouldn't have gotten so drunk that I managed to convince myself that I kissed Nancy. Did I already say that I didn't actually kiss Nancy? I called her, and she said we didn't even speak. Bottom line is, I'm an asshole. I know that, and I hate myself for hurting you. Dustin told me how upset you were and I...I couldn't even comprehend the fact that I did that."
He paused, looking down at his feet and waiting for Y/N to say something. Something that didn't come, she simply stood, looking at and biting her fingernails, trying to figure out whether or not she should give in and forgive him or not, so he stopped waiting and spoke some more.
"I'm sorry. I love you. I love you so much. And I know that I fucked up, and I don't expect you to forgive me-"
"Steve." Y/N stopped him. He looked up at her, expecting that she'd look upset or annoyed, but she was smiling and shaking her head. "Come here."
"Seriously?" He already wished he hadn't said what he did before he'd even finished speaking. Seriously? What kind of thing to say was that? "I mean, you know-"
She was already hugging him before he could finish speaking. She knew that he'd ramble on for hours if he could, but she also knew that she already forgave him and didn't need to listen to his rambling. "It's okay. I forgive you."
"Oh, thank God. I thought I'd lost you, really, I did." He sighed into her hair, realising that he was probably ruining the bouquet of flowers with the way that he was crushing them against her back.
"Well, you were an asshole. You had every right to think you'd lost me." Steve had always loved her subtle sassiness, it was a habit that she often fell into unknowingly, but it made him chuckle.
"Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I was an asshole."
She let go of him, finally, and stood back. He was wearing his light blue jeans, a black t-shirt and belt, with a blue jacket. It was an outfit that she'd seen him in before, quite a few times, but he never failed to look good in it anyway. His hair was slightly amiss, as though he'd gotten ready as quickly as he could - which was true, but she didn't know that for sure - but it still had his Steve 'the hair' Harrington charm.
"So, can I come in, or are you just gonna stand there and mock me?" He grinned and she stood to the side, allowing him to join her in the hallway. He went straight for the kitchen, taking out a vase and filling it up with water, then placing the flowers in it and leaving it on the kitchen counter.
"I didn't say you could-" She was trying to joke with him, but he didn't seem to care much, as he cut her off by dipping his head towards hers and kissing her passionately. He hated to admit it, probably something to do with the small part of his King Steve persona that he still carried around with him, but he'd missed her, and it had only been a few hours.
"Woah, easy tiger." Y/N laughed, pulling away when Steve's hands started to travel downwards. "We haven't even properly spoken yet."
"Yeah. Sorry." Steve said sheepishly. He pushed his hands into the pockets of his jeans and smiled down at the floor. "Do you wanna talk?"
She shrugged. "Not particularly."
"So, really, it's okay for me to do this," He closed the gap between them again, beaming at her while he searched her face for any sign of disapproval and admired the little flecks of contrasting colours that danced in her eyes. And then he kissed her again, lips soft against her own, gentle - something that wasn't widely believed, Steve Harrington was actually one of the most gentle people that Y/N had ever met.
"Well, yeah." She grinned, breathless. "But I'm sort of in the middle of watching a movie, wanna join?"
And so they spent the rest of the day, wrapped in the blankets on Y/N's bed and Y/N wrapped in Steve's arms, watching movies that Dustin fished out from the cabinet under the TV that Y/N didn't even know that they had.
She had to say, Steve's apologies were often cheesy and terrible, but this one wasn’t so bad as it was enjoyable.

Febuwhump day 1 “Trapped”
Characters: Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page
Fandom: Daredevil (TV)
Word Count: 1,500
Warnings: Trapped in elevator, mild claustrophobia, punctured lung, passing out, hospitalized, broken ribs
Summary: Matt’s fine. That’s what he insisted. But on their way from the courtroom Foggy and Karen realized it was worse then they thought.
A/N: So, I know 0 things about law or law practice, and this piece was made entirely for the whump so...yeah. Also, the medical accuracy is probably not on point, research only goes so far!
“Can you make it down the stairs?” Asked Karen as they exited the courtroom after a long day.
“Yes. I’m fine.” Matt replied, grunting with an effort just to get the words out.
“Not a chance buddy, we’re taking the elevator. If we had my way you’d be in an ambulance right now,” said Foggy with his usually light tune, although it seemed a little too forced then usual.
“Was I really that bad?”
“Matt, you're a wonderful Lawyer, but, you look like crap and I tell ya everyone in that room knew something was up,” Foggy said directing his friend away from the stairway towards the elevator.
Matt didn’t fight him on this, he leaned into his friend as they walked, “We still are winning though.”
“Yeah. We’re a great team. But you have to admit Matt, you are reckless. Why’d you go out the night before our big case?”
“Crime doesn’t take a night off, Karen.”
“But you can,”
The Elevator doors opened up and Matt got in, steadying himself on the railing. His ribs were aching, he could tell that he had at least 3 broken, and even more bruised. His head was still throbbing from the hard hit he had taken the night before.
“Matt, do you need help? Like real help? I think Claire’s in town, I can try to get her-”
“I’m fine,” interrupted Matt, “couple hours of sleep and I’ll be hitting the streets again.”
“Matt! You’re gonna kill yourself,” Karen couldn’t hide the hurt in her voice.
Matt’s reply was interrupted by a lengthy coughing attack. He slumped further against the elevator wall, the weight of his own two feet suddenly overbearing.
“We’re gonna get you some help, okay?”
Before Matt could even process what Foggy had said he felt himself lurch forward, the whole ground came with him. Looking around him he saw Foggy and Karen in the same panic tossed around the room. Although any exertion at all deepened his pain, Matt closed his eyes and tilted his head to get a better focus. Getting a picture of the whole room around of him, Matt ‘saw’ with his power that the cords holding up the elevator were stuck.
After an agonizing minute of gears grinding loudly, the elevator lurched one last time before planting itself firmly in-between floors. The rapid movements and loud noises were quickly overwhelming Matt, his back still leaning on the wall he slid into a sitting position on the floor, clutching his chest.
Foggy leaned over by his friend, placing a reassuring hand on Matt's shoulder, Karen pulled the emergency call button on the elevator, nothing happened.
Matt’s shortness of breath along with his ever so slightly blue hue in his skin was making Foggy and Karen start to panic.
“Uhg. There’s no service! I can't reach anyone!” said Karen in anguish.
Matt looked up at her, he meant to give her reassurance, tell them both that he was fine, that they’d get out of this, but nothing came out. In fact, nothing was coming in. Matt took a deep breath but the oxygen was too stubborn to come in.
After another minute of continued wheezing, it subsided for a while. Matt just sat there, his eyes closed taking in more air, but nothing eased the tightness he felt in his chest.
Karen continued pacing the room, phone in hand, while Foggy rubbed Matt’s back and tried giving him words of comfort, but Matt could barely even hear him over his own rapid heart rate.
“Okay, Matt, when did you start having symptoms? It might help narrow down what’s wrong and what you need.”
Matt furrowed his brows together, why was it so hard to think? “Uh, last night my chest began to hurt, probably because of the broken ribs, but it wasn’t hard to breathe until about an hour ago,” Matt’s voice hitched as his last word spurred another coughing fit which increased his chest pain.
“Okay, no more talking for you, just, take it easy Matt,” said Foggy as he scanned the room for the third time.
The elevator wasn’t big, but it also wasn’t small, to Foggy, it was a death sentence.
Claustrophobia wasn’t something Foggy initially thought that he suffered from, but the way the walls seemed to close in on him and he was starting to feel nauseous didn’t give him much of a choice. Foggy couldn’t be freaking out right now, Matt needed him.
Besides, elevators stopped all the time and no one gets hurt.
Right?
The elevator doors stood still as if mocking them for being trapped. By now both Foggy and Karen had run their voices hoarse with hollering for help and pounding on the door. They needed to get Matt out of there, but with no real end in sight, all of their moods were quickly fading.
“Matt, how are you doing?” Karen quizzed him.
Matt nodded his head at her, words just weren't coming anymore. He was no doctor, but he’s been hurt enough to know what a punctured lung felt like, if only he would have recognized it earlier he wouldn’t be in this situation.
He tried to hold on, he fought, but the sweet temptations of rest were too strong, Matt’s eyes fluttered shut as his shoulders slumped further against the wall.
“Matt! Matt!” shouted Karen as she rushed to his side, tears streamed down her face as she put a hand to his neck, desperately hoping to feel a pulse. She was greeted with a thready response, but it was something.
With a startling and grinding crunch Foggy and Karen clung to the walls, worried the elevator was falling, but as if on cue the elevator doors were pried open, behind the door was mostly metal work, only the bottom third of the doorway actually opened to the hall. Two officers awaited them as they stood over Matt.
They weren’t trapped any longer. But they weren’t out of it yet.
Foggy and Karen worked together to gently drag Matt’s limp body towards the opening, a police officer firmly gripped his shoulders sliding him from across the floor through the doors and out of the elevator.
In a frenzy, Karen and Foggy found themselves as well out of the faulty elevator and being attended to by local authorities.
“You guys are lucky, someone called in a late elevator making ‘suspicious’ noises, no one else wanted to check it out.” one officer told them as his partner called in a medic for Matt.
The ambulance arrived quickly, a team of medics hauling a stretcher immediately started to check them over.
“No, we’re fine, Matt, help Matt,” Karen insisted, pushing a Paramedic away from her.
One of the first respondents was looking over Matt, who now lied on a stretcher, “Looks like we got a Traumatic pneumothorax, we need to get a chest tube in him, stat,”
“Is he, is he gonna be alright?” Foggy asked his throat tight.
"Yes, if he gets everything he needs now, he'll make a full recovery."
The EMTs and Paramedics pushed Matt on the stretcher into the awaiting ambulance, Foggy and Karen at their heels.
"Matt, Matt, were right here okay? We're not going anywhere, alright?"
*******************************
Matt's still heavy eyelids groggily opened and the fuzziness in his head died down as he became more conscious.
The sound of heels clicking on the hard floor altered him to Karen's presence pacing the room, and Foggy, Matt could hear his heartbeat pounding from the chair.
"Matt! You're awake! Thank God," Foggy said rushing towards Matt's. Karen quite pacing and joined Foggy at Matt's bedside.
"It'll take more than that to stop me," Matt said halfheartedly, his voice not as pronounced as usual.
Matt could feel the tension in the room, he faced his friend's direction. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so reckless. I should've been smarter, gotten help sooner. I’m sorry for putting you guys through that."
Foggy squeezed Matt's IV laced hand, "No, Matt, you were just thinking of others. I’m sorry for making you feel like you need to apologize for just looking out for people. But, next time? Come to us when your hurting."
"Yeah Matt, we can help you," Karen cut in.
"Now how did I get lucky enough to have you two in my life?" Matt said, his smile genuine.
Matt's chest was sore, he felt as if his whole body was replaced with sand, everything was so heavy, and the tube in his chest was uncomfortable, to say the least. But his skin was no longer blue, and his breathing was regulating out. But most importantly he was surrounded by his friends and partners and all in all, alive.
In the elevator, trapped and dying, he didn't know if he would ever see another morning, experience another day, fight another night, but here he was.
With a grateful look on his face, Matt addressed Foggy and Karen.
"So, you ready for another day in court?"

Oh, I have so many unpopular opinions for this. I may also get hate for it if this reached that part of fanbase but anyways;
My very big issue with gintama is how it deals with abuse victims & abusers. Sorachi's constant attempt to humanize the abuser sometime worked, many times didn't. For ex; regarding female characters, Hinowa shouldn't have forgiven Hosen, Tsukuyo should've confronted her Jiraiya herself & shouldn't have forgiven him just putting this here.
Now about main problem, Pirako (if that's her name) should have confronted her dad, Kagura deserved to fight Kamui on her own like how Gintoki fought Takasugi alone, Mutsu deserved more screentime about her past as pirate & ofc her parents than it be about Sakamoto, Otae needed her own arcs about her conflicts with her needs & wants vs wanting to fulfill her father's wish, Tsukuyo deserved her own arc where it's about her & not as plot device to reveal past of somebody else, Otose is literally known as Kabuki Chou Queen she at least deserved a chapter or two solely about her, Yoishiwara is filled with women I really wanted to know more about other women in it without any sort of love being involved (They were victims of sex slavery for a huge time & sorachi only focused on forbidden love?), Hinowa was considered the "Sun" of Yoishiwara but then she was sidelined as background character only appeared if it was about her son, Kyubei needed an arc about them which wasn't about gender, gags & transphobia, Asaemon deserved more screentime than just one arc & whoosh to 4-5 page at finale, Sachan?? The legit Assassin?? Has no arc about HER?? Kouka *inhale* A FUCKING ULTANA IMMORTAL & MOTHER OF ONE OF PROTAGONIST & AN ANTAGONIST WHO GOT LIKE 3 CHAPTERS??? THAT'S ALSO ABOUT WHEN HER HUSBAND MET HER??? MASTER OF FUCKING KOUAN??? BITCH WE GOT MORE CHAPTERS ABOUT SHOUYO ANOTHER DEAD FOSSIL BUT WHEN IT CAME TO KOUKA WE GOT A FUCKING LOVE STORY WHICH WRITTEN THROUGH NARRATIVE OF HER HUSBAND & KIDS PERHAPS BUT NOT HER WHAT THE FUCKING HELL I WILL COMMIT ARSO— *exhale*
Honestly, the only well developed so far I can think about is Nobume. I will not deny on her personality department she is lacking a lot but this is just my opinion! I cried like a bankrupt bitch watching FS arc, to me that arc was about her & isaburo. From her name, to her past & also in SS she only gotten better though I wanted more screentime for her & more interactions with other female characters *cries in asaenobu shipper* to be frank I wanted her to meet Shouyo, & wanted to know more about her killer child past though compare to other female characters in show she still managed to get shine a lot. I truly love single one of them, I just wanted them to have their own time to shine than for main character to jump in fix their shit but it is what is it..
yes, we all know that gintama's female characters are unique and different from other shounen manga/anime female characters, but what we really ought to talk about is, whether all these characters have been developed well
