Word Count: 4,711
Summary: One night, you’re walking home from campus when you hear someone following you. Things escalate quickly and before you know it a strange man has you pinned against the wall with his fist around your throat. You manage to get loose but not far when he lands a punch to your face, sending you to the concrete. Little did he know, drawing blood was the rescue call you needed when a motorcycle pulls up in front of you.
Warnings: sexual harassment (it’s over before anything serious happens), physical assault, blood, violence, cursing, smut, vampire bites/blood sucking
The night air was eerily cold and quiet as I left the campus gym to head home for the weekend. This area wasn't always the safest at night, but I convinced myself the short walk to the subway wouldn't be too much of a risk. Though the dim moonlight shaded by clouds and the deserted roads lit weakly by flickering streetlights did little to help protect me as I started my way down the sidewalk.
The distant sounds of night traffic and city life calmed me for the time being and the subway was in sight before I knew it. Only one block left to go and I was out of harms way. Until I started to hear something approaching. Footsteps. Distant, somewhere behind me. Slow at first, but then picked up their pace. So I did the same, speeding up to a fast walk and eventually a jog as I tried to close the distance between me and the stairway down to the subway. All I had to do was cross the street-
"What's the hurry, baby?" The man's deep, grossly taunting tone elicited a sickly chill sensation in my body warning of danger. Stupidly, my feet froze in fear, choosing neither fight nor flight. "Come here, just let me talk to you a second." His footsteps grew closer and I finally snapped out of it, turning towards him and grabbing my pepper spray from my bag.
"Don't come any closer!" I shouted, holding the mace up in front of me. The man looked to be in his 30s with long, greasy hair and a cocky grimace that showed off a few silver teeth.
He halted his movements, raising his own hands in mock defense. "Woah, woah, easy there," he chuckled in a way that I knew was condescending, like he thought my attempt to protect myself was pathetic. "I was just gonna offer you a ride, that's all."
I scoffed, staring him down. "I don't need a ride," I said firmly, about two seconds away from turning on my heel and sprinting in the opposite direction. Although, the dude's muscles exposed by the white wifebeater he had on told me I stood little chance of winning that race, so that was out of the question.
"Alright, you don't need a ride," he repeated, advancing towards me once more. I started taking a few steps backwards so that he couldn't close the distance. "Then maybe there's something else I can offer you." The smirk on his face made me sick to my stomach. He kept getting closer, his steps reaching further than mine. This situation was getting worse by the minute and I knew if I didn't act now this wouldn't end well for me.
"I don't want anything from you-" I yelled just as I pressed down on the pepper spray, but nothing managed to come out of it before he swatted it out of my hand, moving so fast he looked like a blur. There was no time for me to escape now when he backed me against the nearest building with his hand around my throat.
"I was trying-" his tone dripped with anger as his grip tightened, cutting off my airway, "to be nice!" My hands desperately clawed at his massive fingers but it was no use. He was too strong. So I hiked my knee up and did the only thing I knew to do.
When it landed forcefully between his legs, his hold on my neck loosened and I took my chance to run. "Help!" I screamed, hoping that someone nearby might hear me. Then I remembered. There was someone. "Help, I need you, Y-"
My last word was interrupted by a searing pain in my face that sent me crashing into the concrete. His fist had landed an excruciating punch to my jaw and I could already feel the bruise forming beneath my skin. My hand reached up to assess the damage and came back with a smear of red on my fingertips from the fresh cut on my bottom lip. Blood.
"Oh dude, you really shouldn't have done that," I mumbled, knowing exactly what was coming next.
"Why?" he chuckled again, utterly oblivious to his impending doom. "Are you gonna beat me up or something?" he said like a twelve-year-old boy mocking his little sister.
"Not me," I replied, grinning when I heard the familiar hum of a motorcycle approaching.
The man went silent as the low rumbling grew louder and headlights soon blinded us from the right. I watched from my spot on the ground as the bike stopped a yard or so away from us and a black figure got off. Still towering over me, my attacker tried to act tough but I knew he was seconds away from cowering in fear. I, on the other hand, finally felt at ease.
"And who the fuck are you?" He yelled, annoyed that someone had interrupted him.
The figure slowly took off the helmet, balanced it on the seat of the bike, and walked into the light. When the man got a view of the biker's appearance—short brown hair, innocent-looking feminine features, slim but muscular body covered by a black leather jacket and jeans—he scoffed. "This is what I'm supposed to be afraid of?" His finger pointed lazily at her while his eyes were focused on me. Big mistake.
I smirked. "You will be."
He merely had time to furrow his eyebrows before the woman in front of him reached out to crack his finger in one effortless snap, spin him around, press him face first into the building, and pin his arm behind his back. He screamed in agony at his now broken appendage and started whimpering like a wounded animal from the painful position she was holding him in.
"Did you hurt her?" She growled, her other forearm digging into the top of his back, making his face scrape painfully against the brick wall.
"Ow, ow- no, no I didn't," he whined, exposing himself for the true coward he was, scared of a 5'7 twenty-six-year-old woman.
"Then why the fuck is she bleeding?" Her voice had grown harsher by the minute as she bent his arm further in the wrong direction.
"Ow, please- I-I don't know," he pleaded, but she wasn't having it.
"Don't fucking lie to me!" She yelled, releasing his arm only to turn him around and slam his back into the wall so that they were face to face. Her eyes were so intense as she stared back into his that I swear I almost saw them turn red and the pressure of her forearm against his chest never weakened. He couldn't even squirm against her, her hold was so tight. "Did you hurt her?" She repeated, narrowing her eyes at him.
His body seemed to still and his pupils dilated as he stared, hypnotized by her gaze. "Yes," he finally answered truthfully.
I could practically see the anger boiling in her as her jaw clenched, but she managed to keep her voice calm. "Are you going to do it again?" She asked.
"Y-" he started to answer until she clutched his collarbone, tightening her grip so much that the bone beneath her fingers started cracking. "No," he yelled, half in agony, half to answer her question.
"Say. It." she seethed, digging her thumb further into his collar with each word.
"I'm never going to hurt her again," he stuttered weakly. She stared at him for a moment, making sure he was truly convinced.
"Good," she said, finally satisfied, before her gaze turned mean again. "Now, run."
The man didn't wait any longer to question whether her threat was real or not, instead sprinting away the second she loosened her hold on him. I half expected her to go chasing after him to make sure he couldn't even make the decision to break his promise, but I knew she wasn't like that anymore. She knew I never liked seeing that side of her.
"Yoohyeon," I called out, seeing her eyes still trained on his receding figure as he hobbled away in pain.
Without hesitation, she was crouched down on the ground in front of me in a flash, eyes now soft and touches gentle. "Are you okay?" Her voice came out as a whisper and I knew she felt bad that she wasn't there sooner to protect me.
"Thanks to you," I reassured her with a small smile. Though it turned into a grimace immediately after, a sharp sting of pain reminding me of the cut on my lip. Yoohyeon frowned, her hand reaching out to hold my cheek.
"You're bleeding," she whispered, her eyes darkening at the fact.
"I'm okay," I insisted once more, grabbing ahold of her hand. Her skin was cool against mine. "Will you take me home?" I whispered.
She smiled sadly. "Of course."
Without giving me a chance to do it myself, Yoohyeon lifted me up off the ground and walked me over to her motorcycle. After tightening my backpack on my back, she demanded that I wear the helmet. She would always insist that she didn't need it anyways. Giving in, I let her help me put it on, careful not to make my injury any worse than it already was.
Once she made sure the buckle was secured under my chin, she took her seat on the bike and held her hand out to me. I grabbed it, her strong grip making it easy to steady myself and swing my leg over to take my place behind her. Out of instinct, I wrapped my arms around her torso and leaned into her. One of her hands rested on top of mine for just a moment before she started the engine and I knew it was her way of reminding me that she would always protect me.
After tonight, I knew I'd never have to doubt that again.
-
We made it back to my house not long after and, when I walked inside, Yoohyeon ended up hesitating in the doorway. I sat my bag down in the hall and took my shoes off before noticing her there, looking over at me like a lost puppy who had just shown up at my doorstep, waiting to be let in.
I smiled at her as best as I could with my split lip. "It's okay, you can come in."
She smiled shyly, staring at the ground and stepping through the threshold. Just as I had done, she took her shoes off at the entryway and followed behind me as I walked into the kitchen. She stayed silent, just watching as I dug through the fridge for an ice pack. It was unusual how quiet she was being. Maybe seeing me hurt had really shaken her up. But even then, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. I was lucky I had someone like her to look out for me, but I wondered if it was starting to take a toll on her. Or if it was something else entirely.
Settling on a bag of frozen vegetables for a makeshift ice pack, I closed the fridge and leaned back against the counter to place it on my face. The bag never got to make contact with my skin, Yoohyeon's hand darting up to stop my movements. I don't even remember when she got in front of me, but now she stood mere inches away. Her eyes were locked onto my lips as she brought her thumb up to brush against my bottom one. It stopped just before reaching the cut and she swallowed thickly, staring at the dried blood there.
Her gaze flicked up to mine, eyes darker than I had ever seen them before, and she muttered, "Can I-"
"Yes," I rushed out, already knowing exactly what she wanted.
Her hand holding my wrist let go and moved to the nape of my neck. I discarded the bag of vegetables on the counter behind us and clung to her waist as she leaned in. Her lips met my bottom one in a gentle kiss, almost as if she was testing the waters. When I didn't pull back from the pain, she repeated her actions, only this time she began sucking down on my lip without pulling back. I gasped, more out of surprise than pain, feeling her tongue swipe over the cut. Her fingers gripped the back of my hair and she got more greedy now that she had finally gotten a taste of what she really wanted.
She was quickly getting carried away and the moment I felt something start to pierce my lip, I had to push her back. If she actually still used her lungs, I was sure she would've been panting while she stared back at me, eyes glowing a crimson red as two sharp fangs slowly hung from her mouth.
"Are you hungry?" I asked in a whisper, though the answer was already obvious.
"Yes," she whispered back—more so because she was embarrassed to admit it out loud.
"Okay." I gave her a soft peck on the lips before she stepped back. "Come on," I said softly and she let me pull her up the stairs and into my bedroom without question.
I took a seat on the bed and looked over to see her standing awkwardly in the middle of the room. "Come here," I laughed, gesturing her over. She nearly teleported to the edge of the bed, giving me the chance to grab her arm and pull her on top of me. I'm sure she would've fumbled into me if she didn't have such fast reflexes, but she did, allowing her to catch herself with her arms on either side of me and one of her legs landed between mine. She stayed like that for a moment, just staring down at me like she didn't know what to do. Her fangs had retracted, but her eyes were still glowing, telling me she was nervous.
"Why are you acting so shy today?" I asked softly, reaching up to pull her face towards me. She still just stared into my eyes while I tucked her short hair behind her ear. Something about the way she was acting had my heart racing. "I know you'd never hurt me. You know that, right?" I whispered, tracing her jawline with my thumb and soaking in her pretty features.
Her eyes scanned slowly across my face for a second before she finally leaned in. She was more gentle and restrained this time around, careful not to be too greedy, but still intentionally cherishing each and every kiss I gave her. And it was sweet—like so sweet that she was making me fall harder in love with her with each kiss—but after a few minutes, the feeling of her cool, full lips sucking the warmth from my own and leaving me lightheaded was making me want more.
"Take this off," I breathed against her lips, tugging at her leather jacket. She finished the kiss before leaning back to sit up and do as I asked. I felt my face heat up when she finally removed it, her sleeveless shirt underneath showing off her biceps that flexed when she leaned back down to continue kissing me. My hands trailed down her arms, admiring the curve of her muscles before making their way to the hem of her shirt. She leaned further into me, transferring all her weight onto one hand to use the other to hold my face.
When my fingers edged their way up under her shirt, she slipped her tongue over my lip. I parted mine, allowing her to finally deepen the kiss. Our tongues met just as my fingers grazed over her abs and the sensation caused her to sigh into my mouth. My heart pounded in my ears but I knew she could hear it too when one of her hands grabbed both of mine, slowly leading them up her torso and under her sports bra. She whined and lowered her body further into mine when my fingers brushed across her nipples. Her kisses quickly became less coordinated and I knew she was starting to lose her self control. But I wanted to enjoy this for longer—until she really couldn't hold back anymore—so I pushed her up before she lost it completely.
Our lips separated and my lungs fought for oxygen while hers remained still. It was an unfair advantage, especially when she got carried away, completely forgetting that I needed to breathe. Sometimes I thought about how, if we had both been turned, we could kiss for days on end without ever needing to take a breath. But then I remembered, waiting makes the reward so much better.
So, I decided to drag it out, not letting her have what she wanted just yet. While she was still on top of me, I took the chance to slip her shirt off over her head and throw it to the side. She tried to lean back down to kiss me again, clearly impatient, but I pushed her over and straddled her. Sitting up, I took a moment to take in every inch of her perfectly sculpted abs, burning the image into my memory—not that I needed to given her literal immortality and self-proclaimed undying love for me. Even still, I didn't get to see them every day (though I wouldn't doubt she'd let me stare at her shirtless for as long as I wanted if I asked).
She watched me intently as I shamelessly checked her out, her hands now gripping my thighs almost painfully while she fought to contain her hunger. She never lasted much longer. So I took my shirt off, slowly, as her eyes were on me, because I knew it drove her crazy. Still, she didn't make a move to take over again, showing me how good she could be for me. I ran a hand across her stomach, leaning down into her. I almost thought her skin felt colder than normal, but I knew it was because my body temperature had grown so hot.
Her hand moved to my waistband, while her eyes followed mine as they raked up her body and landed on her face. I couldn't help but stare at her skin that lacked any blemishes or beauty marks besides the cute little mole on her nose and her features that looked like they were crafted so carefully and intentionally by the gods above. She quite easily had to be the most beautiful woman I had ever seen and it baffled me to think that she craved no one other than me.
Overwhelmed by this feeling of intense admiration, all I could do was kiss her. And that must've been what she was waiting for, because she met me half way, pulling me into her by the back of my neck. "You're so perfect," I told her when I pulled back, sending the tiny amount of blood she currently had in her body rushing to her cheeks.
I kissed her on the lips one more time before moving to place kisses across her jawline and down her neck. Her skin was like cool, smooth silk and the heat of my lips left a trail of fire in their wake that I knew she was addicted to. She gripped the back of my head as I planted kisses above her bra and down her stomach, trying her best to enjoy this moment even though her hunger was fighting to take over. As I neared her waistband and started sucking down on the soft skin above it, she started to break.
"Y/N," her voice came out weak and I peered up at her to see her jaw clenched and eyes desperate. The hand that wasn't gripping my hair had already torn a hole in the sheets from how much she was holding back.
My stomach fluttered knowing how worked up she was just for me and I crawled back up to her. "I know," I whispered before kissing her. She didn't kiss back as much as she wanted to and I soon found out why when I felt her fangs slowly growing from her mouth. I smirked and hummed happily against her lips. "You've been so good for me, baby," I praised, rubbing my fingers across her jawline while kissing her again. She whined as her fangs grew their full length and pushed me back so that she didn't bite into my bottom lip.
"Sorry," she mumbled, embarrassed that what I said was finally what got to her.
"Don't apologize," I smiled and kissed her on the cheek before rolling off of her to lay on my back. "I'd say I've made you wait long enough already," I said, suddenly feeling nerves rise in my chest when she got back on top of me. Though they all went away when I looked up to see her staring down at me with two little white teeth peeking out from beneath her top lip, resembling a giant puppy.
"Are you su-"
"Yes, I'm sure," I cut her off with a gentle laugh. "You're sweet, but you don't have to ask me every time." I pushed myself up and kissed her bottom lip to show that I was being sincere. "I promise it's okay," I whispered and rubbed my nose against hers before laying back down. "I'll push you back if it gets too much, okay?"
She stared at me a second longer before whispering, "okay." I settled back into the bed and made myself comfortable before flipping my hair to one side, out of the way of my neck. She lowered herself onto me, kissing along my jaw as much as her fangs would allow her. The gesture was a million times sweeter knowing how hard it was for her to resist sinking her teeth into me right away. She leaned onto her forearm while her other hand met my waist, gently rubbing across the skin there to try and keep me relaxed. Her lips planted a few weak kisses down my neck, working me up to what she was about to do. I reached my left hand up to brush her hair behind her ear before settling my hands at the back of her neck.
She gave me one final peck against my pulse point to show her gratitude before grabbing the opposite side of my neck for leverage and sinking her fangs into my skin. I inhaled, one of my hands instinctively tangling itself into her hair while the other moved to clutch the back of her hand. The initial bite was never enjoyable, a searing pain spreading across my body as her teeth tore through layers of skin like needles piercing my vein, but the sensation of her cold thumb rubbing soothingly over my fingers that were now tightly wrapped around her palm managed to distract me long enough to get past the worst of it.
It barely lasted a few seconds and the following feeling made the pain more than worth it. Her bottom lip pressed into my neck as she started sucking down, draining the blood from my veins at an intoxicatingly slow pace. She could feel every beat of my heart as I could, relishing the way it sped up just for her. As much as she was addicted to the taste of me and had the uncontrollable urge to drink her share in seconds, she learned to enjoy the process and take her time. It only took a few feedings and an impulsive hand sliding past my waistband for her to figure out that the experience was just as pleasurable for me as it was for her.
I pushed her off of me that night, embarrassed she caught how turned on I had gotten from the feeling. But, this time, the strangely intoxicating sensation of blood rushing through my veins and Yoohyeon's mouth latched onto my throat kept me from stopping her hand as it traveled down my body. Instead, my free hand joined my other, locking my fingers together at the nape of her neck.
Before she reached my shorts, she paused, silently asking for permission. Her incessant sucking had me growing dizzier every second, making it difficult to form coherent thoughts, let alone spoken sentences. All I could manage was a feeble, "please."
Within a second, her hand slipped beneath my shorts, more than happy to grant my request. I gasped and tightened my grip in her hair, subconsciously bucking my hips the moment her cold fingers brushed across my clit. A wave of pleasure like I had never felt before overtook my body. I could feel her voluntarily inhale into my neck at my reaction, edging her to dip her fingers lower. It didn't take long for her to feel just how soaked she made me, forcing a stifled moan from her throat that vibrated against my neck. I whined, tightening my thighs around her hand at the sound.
Yoohyeon continued sucking and started a similarly slow, mind-numbing rhythm rubbing her fingers against me. The pain of her feeding off of me and the sensation of her icy skin against mine heightened my senses, making every little touch a million times more intense. It was almost too much, it felt so good, and the longer it went on, the more overwhelming it became. I had been close since the moment she bit me, making her teasing pace absolute torture.
"Yoohyeon," I said breathlessly, feeling a thousand degrees too hot.
There was no need to say more when she plunged one of her long, slim fingers inside of me without warning. Something between a gasp and a moan escaped my lips and my hand reached down to grab her wrist. She was much stronger than she realized and I hadn't grown used to her yet. She immediately started to pull back, misreading my reaction.
"I-it's okay," I said breathlessly, keeping her hand in place. Still, she didn't make a move to continue and the sudden lack of contact was driving me crazy. "Please, Yoohyeon," I gripped her wrist tighter, "I need you."
Yoohyeon didn't hesitate any longer, sliding her finger back in and returning that excruciating wave of pleasure she had just taken away from me all at once. I lifted my hips off the bed to meet her pace, her finger reaching deeper with each slow, tantalizing pump. Even with how gentle she was this time, I could feel myself seconds away from coming undone underneath her. Realizing she was acting so shy because of how desperate she had been to fuck me ever since she found out I was just as turned on by her feeding from me as she was almost sent me over the edge alone. And it would've eventually, had she not suddenly added a second finger, her relentless roughness as she stretched my walls and sucked me dry of the very thing keeping me alive catalyzing my climax instead, finally sending me over.
Now I understood why they called it a 'little death,' because I felt it. My heart stopping for a full few seconds, my mind losing all capacity to function, my voice unable to do anything other than call out and my body ascending to the heavens as the pleasure surely only angels were capable of gifting washed over me in waves. Waves that Yoohyeon rode out with me, her fingers making sure I felt every last drop of pleasure each of them had to offer while she kissed my neck, drawing the high out as long as possible to show just how much she felt for me. Insurmountable. Inexplicable. And yet I knew its value. I knew what it was.
"I love you," was the one thing I could process as I came crashing back down, only to be caught in her embrace. I love you, as if she still had to say it after letting me feel it in a much deeper way than words could ever even begin to articulate. And yet she did. "Always."

pairing - best friend turned lover!yoohyeon x gn!reader genre - fluff warning(s) - just swearing! summary - yoohyeon's first date with you! author's note - not proofread, whoops. idk about anyone else but nervous yoohyeon is really cute to me word count - 626 words
well, you could argue that she cared. a lot.
yoohyeon had been standing in front of her closet for at LEAST an hour, trying on outfits and making a mess of her room, as she tried her absolute best not to have a meltdown.
“this? no, too casual,” yoohyeon whined to herself, dropping another set of clothes to the floor. she was this close to just, flopping onto the floor and kicking her legs like a child, having a tantrum.
it wasn’t like she hadn't seen you in different situations before, but this was different — this was a fucking date. yoohyeon was head over heels for you.
you both had known each other for ages now, ever since you both ended up in the same class in the first year of high school. things happened, and suddenly, it was like you had a conjoined twin, which was yoohyeon.
you two stuck together most of the time, even your parents and hers were well acquainted at that point. and she just.. kind of fell for you. she wouldn’t be able to explain it even if she could get her thoughts in order for once in her life. you also just had a special power, to reduce her to a melting, blushing mess by just, well, existing.
she just wanted to impress you so bad, even though knowing you, yoohyeon knew you would be happy if she turned up in just a hoodie and sweatpants. but you deserved more than half-assery, in her own words.
“ah, fuck, i’m going to be late. that’s even worse than me looking awful while i meet them,” yoohyeon monologued to herself as she got to cleaning her room and fishing out something that would make her look presentable.
“this will do,” she mumbled, less than pleased by the mediocre outfit that she had paired together in a rush. yoohyeon hurriedly tugged on the long sleeved black crop top, and a black high waisted skirt, that reached down to the middle of her thighs. a squeak escaped her lips as she stumbled over, her phone alarm going off to signal to her that she only had five more minutes.
“okay, okay, ugh, fuck, accesories,” yoohyeon said, successfully buttoning up her skirt as she scrambled over to her drawer, picking out a bracelet (specifically, the matching bracelet you had bought her years before) as well as some hairties in case you needed it.
she moved over to grab her small backpack, dumping some things into it and grabbing her phone, rushing downstairs to grab some socks to pull on and a pair of sneakers. the doorbell rang, making her pause for a moment as she panicked, before she shook her head. “get it together, yoohyeon!” she scolded herself internally.
“yooh, are you ready?” yoohyeon could hear you call out, and she replied with a ‘yeah’, her voice almost cracking.
yoohyeon groaned softly, stretching her legs slightly as she wobbled over to the door, opening it quickly.
there you were, looking all cute in your casual outfit, lips glossy from the lip gloss that you had put on and a pretty shade of pink on your cheeks. oh, how she just wanted to kiss you right there and then.
“hey. you look cute,” you mumbled, making yoohyeon’s ears turn red. it was safe to say that you liked her outfit, and her face of slight shock and happiness.
“aha, no, you look cuter,” yoohyeon replied, trying to sound more confident, still recovering from her mini panic session as you complimented her. “shall we, ahem, go now?” she said, shuffling on the spot slightly as she looked over at you, a small grin on her lips.
she just couldn’t help but like you this much.

“Yoohyeon?” You gaped, shock evident in your tone as you lowered the television remote in your hand (which you had been fully prepared to use as a weapon, had she been anyone else). You quickly sat it down on the table by the door and peered at her, full of concern.
Her clothes were completely sodden – every fiber of them packed full of chilly rainwater as they clung tightly to her – and you had to make a conscious effort to not stare at the expanse of skin that her partially unbuttoned shirt exposed.
The dark cover of night behind her was disrupted by the house lights of the neighborhood – all switched on, acting as little beacons of hope through the raging storm. A large flash of lightning came, too, streaking sharply against the brooding clouds above.
“What are you doing here?” Your wide eyes darted across her features, searching for an explanation, but she shied away for some reason and failed to utter more than a quiet word here or there.
When a clap of thunder rang out mere seconds later, she tensed slightly, still shivering from the cold.
You shook your head at her odd behavior but reached out, nonetheless, and pulled her inside.
Perhaps a little shelter from the elements would open her up.
Water cascaded freely off of her, dripping down onto your floors and filling your foyer with its quiet sounds as you quickly shut and locked the door. You approached her again and moved her closer to the nearby vent that blew wondrous, warm air into the open space, silently hoping that it could work some magic.
But even once you gave her time to acclimate and returned your gaze to hers, she continued to avoid it.
Curious, you took it upon yourself to reach up and cup her cheeks, coaxing her into letting you see her.
When you did, something clicked. Only then did you really take in the full sight of her.
A vibrant blush painted her cheeks, and her pupils were blown wide as she peered back at you. Beneath the mussed, white, now practically see-through button up she had on, a set of dark lingerie showed, complimenting her tanned skin beautifully. One of the lacy straps of it had long ago fallen off of her shoulder, and her breast was close to showing because of that. The lines of her abs were visible as well, and every movement she made was full of some kind of alluring, restrained tension.
Like it was killing her not to reach out and touch you.
Her bottom lip was rosy and swollen, due to her habit of biting it when she gets aroused.
“I had a dream about you,” she admitted, like she couldn’t hold it in anymore. Her breathing was a bit quicker than normal – less stable.
You were her best friend; she couldn’t believe she was about to do something like this.
Her drenched clothes, paired with the warm air that felt its way up her body, created a tantalizing mix of sensations that caused goosebumps to arise; and your hands on her only multiplied them even more. She almost couldn’t stand it.
“And you drove all the way here because of it?” You wondered aloud, quirking a brow.
Though you weren’t totally oblivious to the implication behind her words, incredulity overtook your mind and tone. Even if she had had a wet dream about you, you were sure she would just laugh it off like everything else. Like every other charged interaction you’d ever shared, that danced precariously along the border of platonicity and attraction.
There was no way she planned to do something about it.
…right?
She swallowed, taking a second to decide if she was prepared to cross this boundary with you. You’d both tested the limits of your “friendship” before, playing with fire, toying with the line and pushing things to get a rise out of one another – but neither of you had had the courage to follow through completely.
At least not until now.
Her head nodded sheepishly, sealing your fate.
“I tried to take care of it myself, Y/N/N, but nothing felt as good as you did in that dream. Will you help me?” The soft plea in her voice bordered on a whine, and it ignited something in you that you had never fully considered with her before.
Drip, drip, drip
Water pooled at your feet now, resembling the mess that you had inadvertently made in her panties.
She wanted to take you right here on the floor, or up against the wall that stood behind you. She wanted to rip your clothes off and hear the beautiful timbre of your voice as you came undone, moaning her name.
But she didn’t. She waited, doing her best to ignore the throbbing of her center and the curious way your eyes kept returning to her body, dropping lower and lower. She waited on you to make the next move, needing to know you wanted her just as badly as she did you.
“Kiss me, Yooh.”
That simple request set her in motion, and she had you in her arms in a second. The subsequent gasp that resounded in your throat at the coldness of her clothes was muffled by her lips before it really had a chance to escape.
Desperation took on human form as she backed you up against the wall, stripping out of her shirt and slipping her shoes off all the while.
You moaned into her mouth when she hastily unzipped your pants, nearly breaking your zipper in the process.
Her frigid fingers slid past your panties with no further warning, and she whimpered quietly when she felt how wet you already were.
“Y/N…”
If there was any chance left of her restraining herself, it would have to be now. She was teetering on the edge of no control, and each second that she spent with you loosened her grip on the reins more and more.
“Keep going,” you breathily instructed, allowing your head to loll back against the wall. “I’m all yours.”
She shuddered, both out of excitement and chill. A new kind of darkness eclipsed the usual innocence of your eyes, and she didn’t quite know what to do with herself because of it.
“Please tell me this is real…”
You chuckled at her earnesty. Even now, in a moment like this, she was capable of making you laugh.
When you leaned forward and pressed an open mouthed kiss to her neck, she melted into you. You reached down into her pants to cup her with one hand, feeling the warmth that radiated from her cunt even through the lingerie, while the other wrapped around her, tenderly kneading the supple skin of her ass.
She rocked against you out of instinct, vying for any bit of relief you would possibly award her; the needy movements pushed her own palm harder against your clit, causing you to moan softly.
Her heart skipped a beat at the sound.
“Does this feel real enough, baby?” You asked against her pulsepoint, just as your teeth lightly trailed across her sensitive skin. The taut muscles of her neck jumped as she strained helplessly in response.
“Fuck,” she whined, embarrassed by how much of a mess you’d turned her into. She could feel your smile grow, and it made her walls pitifully flutter and clench around nothing.
“I know you can answer me better than that,” you teased.
You pushed her lace to the side and easily slid two fingers inside of her dripping heat, resolving to get your answer that way instead.
“Ah!” She moaned at the intrusion, high pitched and broken as she was caught off guard. She looked down between your bodies, watching your fingers rhythmically disappear and reappear at her entrance as you fucked her. A new rise of blush made its way up to her ears at the sounds that she produced – none of which she had any semblance of control over.
“Yoohyeon…” you warned, still waiting.
“Yes, Y/N,” she replied, aware of her mistake – though, truthfully, she would make it again a million times over if it got you to touch her like this every time. “It feels so good. Please,” she stressed, fully aware that she wouldn’t survive if you left her without release now, “...don’t stop.”
Her wish was your command.
Encouraged by her words, you hiked one of her legs up around your waist and settled closer to her. The new position enabled you to easily reach her g-spot, and her resulting, guttural moan confirmed it.
You wasted no time in exploiting that in the best possible kind of way.
The ache between her thighs mingled with pleasure, both in equal, overwhelming doses. A tingling sensation was creeping its way up her spine, and the butterflies in her stomach only grew more untamed.
“Just like that, jagiya,” she begged into your ear.
Her hips stuttered, jerking messily as she bucked into you over and over.
“You’re doing so good, baby,” you praised, admiring the flush of her skin and the way she trembled in your arms. Her weak legs squirmed, shaking as she used what strength she had left to hump a little faster.
You added another finger as a silent way of rewarding her, and the resulting rush of warmth you felt around them made you smile. Her walls pulsed, eagerly stretching to accommodate the change, and beckoned you back inside with every pump you delivered.
Even her pussy was greedy for you.
Both of her hands went to the back of your neck as she pulled you forward and sealed her lips against yours in the dark. She didn’t waste much time with demurity; her kisses were messy and full of need as she tangled her fingers in your hair and roughly tugged on it.
She swallowed up the subsequent sound of shock that you let out and used the opportunity to slip her tongue into your mouth.
It was warm and inviting, just like the rest of her – so eager to please you. She stole your breath away when her kisses grew harsher – more possessive; the tell-tale clenching of her walls around your fingers told you she was getting dangerously close to release, and the small, staccato breaths she let out through her nose made you smile lightly.
She was so precious, like that. Such a slut for you that she drove all the way to your house in the pouring rain at 2AM, and yet she still clung to her habitual shyness in a few small, undeniable ways.
Knowing that she had it so bad for you boosted your ego majorly.
Lightning flashed close by outside, and the bright pulse of it highlighted your combined, desperate movements against one another. She pressed further into you, and you knew she couldn't hold out any longer.
Her pitiful shaking brought out the more merciful side of you.
“Show me what you can do, Yooh. Cum on my fingers,” you commanded, pulling away just enough to rest your forehead against hers. Her arms tightened around your neck, tethering you impossibly closer.
The snap of her hips grew messy and rough – more primal as they worked to match the rhythm of your hand – and with a succession of filthy moans and whines, she hit her high. Her raised leg tightened around your waist, flexing to keep you in place. She cried your name out and clung to you, digging her nails into your shoulders hard enough to leave marks.
You grimaced at the sting, but knowing you’d been the one to make her feel so good made the pain insignificant.
She buried her face in your neck, peppering slow, grateful kisses there, and you held her close until her breathing began to even out again.
When she eventually pulled away, you expected her to take a break. You gently lowered her leg and smiled at her, prepared to help her over to the couch so she could recover.
But her release merely seemed to reenergize her, somehow, and she had no plans of stopping anytime soon.
She dropped to her knees in front of you and slid your pants down your legs in one motion, taking you by surprise.
“It’s your turn now, baby,” she smirked up at you, tilting her head as a mischievous gleam showed in her eyes. Yet another flash of lightning came, outlining her striking features amid the darkness; she was a vision to behold in every way.
Her lips easily found your v-line and felt their way across it, leaving kisses and little nips in their wake. Your head lolled back again as the promise of what was to come sank in.
Along the backs of your calves her hands skimmed, trailing upwards and paying attention to every inch of you that they could touch. Desire led them – a fact evident in the wanton way they groped you.
“God, I can’t wait to taste you.” She sighed the admission against your skin as if she’d been starved for a year and you were the first bit of food she had laid eyes on since.
The conviction in her behavior made you blush, wondering how you’d ever survive whatever it was that she had in store.
How you'd managed to survive so long without it stumped you just as much.
Your body hummed in silent, aching anticipation. Like a band pulled tight, ready to snap at any moment.
It seemed to set something off within her.
“You’d better choose a safe word now, Y/N,” she warned.

—————/———————/————
I’ve seen her a few times around the village
Even from a distance, the mysterious aura seeping through her gaze always seemed to catch my attention
I knew better than to mess with witches
But to say my not-so royal life was getting boring was an understatement
My family sent me to live in the rural edges of our kingdom, with the purpose of teaching me life the hard way, before becoming the head of the palace
So here I was, a prince, trying to stay undercover, living as a farmer under someone’s uncle’s roof
~~
That women I keep seeing, i've never quite seen a beauty so surreal, ‘’maybe it was a spell’’ i chuckled to myself, or maybe it was something far more than what i expected it to be
——-
I struggle to remember the color of the walls inside the palace. Maybe they changed it now.
My father and mother had agreed on it, before being suited to lead the kingdom, I had to live the hard way. Living with a friend of a friend, a farmer that is, and for approximately 12 months.
Every descendant of the Crimson family that was in line for the throne had to prove themselves by doing so. But the way my father had thrown me out without a notice still left me hurt.
I felt the bitterness come back to the surface as I bit down on my already bleeding lip.The feeling was exactly what I needed for this instance.I picked myself back up, pushing away the stray hairs from my vision. My left side stung again as I received another blow to my ribs.
The small crowd cheered.
I wasn’t going to let that scoundrel make a fool out of me again. I targeted his leg, first grabbing his shoulders, then kicking his leg to be able to swipe my feet underneath his, making him fall successfully
The crowd cheered again
Seeing my enemy on the ground, I stomped my feet down to his throat.
I had enough…
I kept pressing down even after he tapped on my leg for mercy. It's only when one of my friends pulled me back that I came back to my senses. The crowd quickly gathered around me, celebrating another worthless win. ‘’Yea yea, i won, the show’s now over every one’’ i made a gesture for them to disperse.
The moment I could feel the breeze again, I looked around at the disappearing crowd.
We had this event between friends every week or so. The crowd was always changing, new faces every time. But one face seemed familiar through it all.
A slender figure, dark hair, and always that dark cape looming over her. My friends told me she was only around when I was the one fighting.
Villagers, farmers, foreigners, anyone could enter our fighting matches as long as they placed a bet. The crowd could place bets as well, delivering the money before being permitted to watch the show. It wasn’t anything professional, far from it, but it was a way for us to distract ourselves and get some money out of it.
I walked back to my older friend, looking down at the amount we had gathered
‘’How much did we get?’’ I asked
‘’Weird question for a royal like you y/n, shouldn't you already have all the riches in the land?’’ he quirked his eyebrow. I kicked some dirt his way.
‘’Hey! Do that again and you’re never getting your share’’
I huffed before sitting down by his side to help him count
——
After all, life outside the castle wasn’t too hard. Harsh but freeing in many ways that the 4 walls of that palace could never provide me.
I walked back home at dawn, walking a bit further away from the village. I stepped inside, noticing my adoptive family, each sitting around the table.
‘’Good evening’’ I announced myself before taking off my worn out jacket
‘’Did you feed the lambs and the chickens?’’ A stern voice asked me
I cursed under my breath
‘’Go outside to feed them and do not come back in until it's done. You'll sleep outside if you are too lazy for such minimal tasks. You might be royal blood, but from what i have seen of you, you'll never be as good as your father’’ he spitted at me
I felt both my fists clenching, breathe y/n, only a few more months…
‘’It's not because your a descendant of the Crimson’s family that you're any better than us, now go before I teach you a lesson’’
I exited the house, slamming the door behind me.
This is ridiculous, no one restocked the food for the chickens. I grabbed my satchel and made my way out further, nearing the woods.
I still wasn’t quite sure what these animals were supposed to eat to grow. I would usually steal from our neighbors gardens, gathering what I could so uncle could get off my back.
Like the usual routine, I sneaked past the small cabin, kneeling down before the small garden. I started filling my bag with anything I could grab.
I believed myself to be safe. That is until I heard wood cracking under someone's weight. I immediately ducked, laying on the ground as flat as possible. Footsteps grew louder and closer, that’s when I heard a shout and decided it was my time to run. I stood up and saw the old man pointing his gun at me, I ducked and started running towards the woods. Hearing cursing and gunshots following. I ran through bushes and trees, not looking back
I stopped a minute later, trying to catch my breath.
That's when I heard a voice humming. I hid behind a tree. I heard of these fables, the ones who were stupid enough to wander around the woods alone would often encounter what people called witches. Seemingly human, but with monstrous powers.
I tried listening to the humming. I felt warm, almost comforted by the sound. I racked my brain, trying to remember witches powers and their effects on the common mortal. That song she was humming, it must be some sort of spell or enchantment
I plugged my ears with my fingers. How was I going to get out of this?
‘’Running, like you always do y/n’’
Right, I looked around before stepping out from my hiding spot, ready to run once again
Unfortunately for me, grace wasn’t one of my fortee, nor was my vision so it seems, has i had failed to notice a small root sticking out from the ground, making me trip and fall down
The humming stopped.
I cursed under my breath. I looked up to be met with an oddly familiar face. She simply giggled, looking down at me.
I stood up before taking a step back, cautious to who or what i had encountered.
‘’You’re hurt’’ she almost whispered while looking at me
Her voice sounded like pure silk, something bringing me almost as much comfort as it had for fear a few seconds prior.
I knew better than to fall under a witches charm. Yet, I stood frozen as she approached me, unable to look away from her delicate features and her chocolate eyes. Her hand made contact with my face, making me slightly jump. Her gaze met mine again, this time seemingly worried.
‘’S-sorry’’ I mumbled. She smiled before letting go of my face.
‘’Make sure to clean that cut and put pomade on it, if you want it to heal’’ she looked down with a shy smile
‘’Oh..I will’’ I replied before shaking myself out of this trance like state
‘’I'll be on my way’’ she excused herself before walking away
I ran back to the cottage, feeding the chickens with what I had gathered before finally settling down inside. I looked at my reflection, a cut was present where the women had touched my face. I gathered water from the kitchen, taking a small bowl to bring some over to my room.
I sat down before plunging face first into the bowl. At least I could clean up the wound.
Satisfied, I undressed and laid down. I stared at the rotting ceiling, wood really couldn't last long against the rain I thought. I turned to lay on my side, staring out the window.
Images of earlier came to mind. I wasn't sure if I liked the woman I encountered or if it was only the spell of a witch, either way, I was probably only touch deprived.
She was just one of many faces I would come across and never see again.
——
Yet another crack of dawn fell upon the village.
I unwillingly opened my eyes to be blinded by the waking sun.
If I were to wake up early enough, maybe uncle wouldn't catch me leaving for the day. I wasn’t willing to fulfill my duties per usual, so I opted on escaping to the village for another of our fighting tournaments. I quickly dressed up in my red cardigan father had given me, before exiting by the room’s window. I walked through the field before joining the main path. After a few minutes, I knocked on my friend’s front door.
Only a few seconds passed before she opened the door.
‘’Y/n!’’ she exclaimed
‘’Ready for another successful day Yooh?’’
She nodded with a grin before following me outside. She left to gather any possible fighters while I set up the scene, simply marking a line in the dirt behind one of the houses in the village.
I then settled down Yooh’s bet’s hat, anyone agreeing to fight or to watch had to place a bet against us, thus making us quite the coin after each fight.
When Yooh came back with a crowd, we decided on an order. A few foreigners in town would be fighting a few locals, then, the winner would go against me for the final.
We collected the bets and let the fights start after explaining a few base rules.
——
The crowd started getting bigger after a few rounds. More and more familiar faces stacked up around the circle. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to be faced with none other than Lee Gahyeon.
‘’Well if it isn’t the princess herself’’ I teased, slightly bowing.
She grinned from ear to ear, making me do the same.
‘’Y/n, you know not to address me as such around here” she lightly scolded.
‘’How is the farm life treating you dear friend’’ I asked, a bit concerned.
‘’Better than you it seems” she teased, pointing out my rough figure.
‘’The difference between you and me Gahyeon, is that i'm letting myself have fun while away from the castle’’
‘’And I only have a month left before returning to my family, so who is really the winner here y/n?’’ she grinned
Gahyeon was a princess sent here for the same purpose as I was. Only difference being her coming from a different kingdom, one adjacent to mine. Our families were allies. Once they heard about our family’s famous tradition, they decided on sending Gahyeon out into the world as well.
‘’Well i suppose i'll be lonely then’’ I playfully winked at her, making her giggle
Our attention was brought back to the fight when Yooh announced a winner, it was then that I turned around and saw the hooded girl again. There was this insatiable feeling inside of me, I needed to know her name. But as I started walking towards her, Gahyeon pulled me back.
‘’Don’t think you're escaping from me so easily prince charming’’ she grinned
Although I would have joined Gahyeon's stories, I was still distracted by the stranger. I turned the other way again, meeting the mysterious eyes through the crowd.
Those eyes, I could recognize them anywhere, an object of fascination against my own will. I was taken aback once I realized it was the same woman I had encountered in the woods. But before I could do anything, she ducked with a seemingly disappointed expression on her face.
I tried following after her, but Gahyeon was there to stop me again as well as Yoohyeon this time. She called me in for the final fight. I stepped into the circle, looking up to see my opponent. I frowned, I had never seen this type of attire, probably a foreigner.
Yoohyeon announced the rules again, the winner would win it all. Enticing amount of money for anyone that wasn’t royal. The fight started and I was able to immediately put my opponent to the ground. He managed to pull me off a few times but I was not going to let him take the win.
I pushed him once again to the ground, he groaned before shouting some words I could not understand. I heard some commotion in the crowd and immediately turned around to yoohyeon, seeing the girl fighting the friend of my rival. They were trying to steal the prize from her.
I was about to run to Yoohyeon but my opponent pulled me back.
I felt a stinging pain in my left leg. I looked down to see the man pulling out his dagger out my leg. I let myself fall onto the ground, now clutching at the wound.
I screamed to Yoohyeon to warn her, to let them go so she wouldn't get hurt. The crowd had already corwarded away, leaving the 2 men against me and Yoohyeon.
She let them go after being thrown to the ground.
I got back on my two feet and approached her
‘’I'm so sorry about this situation, are you okay dear?’’ I asked worried
I helped her pull herself off the ground, it's then that I saw a tear running down her face.
‘’yooh’’ I wiped away the tears, turning her face towards me.
‘’Its my fault, i couldn't fight him off, and now he's gone with the money’’ she muttered out
‘’Yooh, no one could of predicted this, it’s my fault if anything, i told you to stop fighting them, i didn't want you to get hurt’’ I reassured
‘’why-’’ she stopped her sentenced when she looked down at my bloodied leg
‘’Y/n! what happened’’ she crouched, touching around the wound.
‘’That bastard had a dagger on him, but i'll be fine’’
She seemed to disagree with me and retrieved her hand from the wound, looking at the substance now on her fingers.
‘’I think he had poison on that dagger, look’’ she showed me the green substance that she retrieved from the wound.
She then stood up before pulling on my arm ‘’Follow me, we need to get some medicine for you’’
I stopped her ‘’Yoohyeon you also have injuries, please go rest back home, i'll fix myself later’’ She was about to fight my decision but I glared at her.
‘’Fine’’ she pouted
‘’I’ll bring you back home now’’ i left her no choice
‘’right, prince charming’’ she joked
‘’I do this because I care about you, not because I was raised this way’’
—--
You led yoohyeon back to the safety of her home before going your own way.
You looked down at your leg. ‘’I have to fix this now’’
You weren’t knowledgeable in medicine and even less poisonous substances. But you did know a friend that could help you on that matter. You didn't like him much, but it was better than letting that substance simmer inside your flesh.
You made your way to his house and knocked.
Quickly your eyes were met with a cocky grin from the tall boy.
‘’Well, well, how could I help my dear Y/n today?’’
You scoffed at him ‘’Well, one of the fighter decided it was a good idea to wound me with poison today’’
He frowned, now serious ‘’I see, let me take a look at it’’ he made sign for you to enter.
You sat down on one of the chairs in his cabin. He kneeled before looking at the wound, He seemed fascinated by it, letting out some noises of excitement
‘’Anything?’’ you asked
‘’Y/n, a master needs time to complete his work’’ he smiled
He stood up before going towards his bed, picking up a book from it. ‘’From the color, texture, that wound…I don't think that's going to kill you, not yet anyway. Only thing, I dont have the plant you need here for your remedy’’ he seemed pensive
‘’Can you help me or i am wasting my time here?’’
‘’I sure can, although the plant I need is a bit far from here. I do have a brief sketch of it that should help you find it’’ he explained, ripping a page from his book.
You took the page out of his hands before walking towards the exit. ‘’Your welcome!’’ he screamed towards you before you disappeared from his view.
——
‘’This shouldn't be too hard’’ you repeated to yourself while walking further into the forest.
You approached a small water stream, stopping there to refresh yourself after the long and painful walk. As you stopped there, you heard shouting in the distance
You stood up and walked towards the source, curiosity getting the best of you.
You quickly hid when you noticed a man pointing his gun at a hooded figure. Intelligible words were exchanged between the two before the man threw the person to the ground. In a matter of seconds he then aggressively stepped on their ankle before stealing their belongings.
You came out of hiding to confront the man but he was already running away. You ran to the women that was on the ground
‘’Miss, may I help you? Why did that men attack you?’’ You asked
You waited for her response but only heard her sniffle. It was when she turned her face to meet your gaze that you recognized her face. ‘’A witch’’ you accidentally blurted out ‘’Is that why he attacked you?’’ she nodded at the question
‘’I won't hurt you’’ you quickly jutted out
‘’I believe you, I have seen you quite a few times around y/n’’ she inquired.
You were shocked at the mention of your name. She seemed to notice your confusion and tittle her head with a smile
‘’May I know your name?’’
‘’Of course, I'm Minji, or Jiu for short’’ she smiled through the pain.
She tried standing up but failed due to her injury. You offered her your hand and helped her stand. She tried putting weight on her feet but groaned at the feeling, gripping onto your hand for support.
‘’Oh your ankle, I can help you back home’’ you reassured but her smile dropped.
‘’I dont think its a good idea to bring me back home seeing as though you have a lover waiting for you back there’’
You frowned, confused.
‘’The princess?’’ she quirked her eyebrow
‘’Oh, that is not my lover. We are friends’’ you replied. She simply nodded
‘’Wait, how do you know she's a princess?’’ you asked curiously
‘’She isn't exactly trying to hide it with her gold brooch’’ she replied, making you laugh
‘’I also have noticed your embroidery dear prince’’ she seemingly teased, making you blush
She let go of your hand and tried walking on her own but to no avail. You grabbed onto her again. ‘’Let me help?’’
‘’You know what i am don't you?’’
You slowly nodded, trying to understand what she was trying to say.
‘’Then you shouldn't be here, even less at my house, which is near the coven’’ she explained.
‘’Minji, you can't walk on your own, I promise i'll be quick and of no disturbance’’ you slightly bowed, long forgetting your own injury to help the women in front of you. She sighted, knowing she had no other choices but to accept.
‘’Fine, but you should wear this, so as to not be recognized as an intruder’’ She gently took off her hooded cape and gave it to you. She helped you put it on properly, tying the front and placing the hood above your head.
You noticed a small frown on her features before she gently touched your cheek
‘’You didn’t put pomade on it, did you?’’ she asked with a teasing smile
‘’Oh, I must of forgotten, i’m sorry’’
she simply replied with a nod and a grin
You gave your hand to Jiu, holding onto it firmly to help her walk back home.
——
After what felt like an eternity, you could see the edge of wooden roofs starting to peek through the foliage.
As you walked closer to the village with Jiu, you observed the magnificent sight. A witch’s village was nothing short of breathtaking, unlike the horrible descriptions in those fables. Although the sight was to cherish, with all its greenery and uncommon forms, the sight that was to your right couldn't be beaten. It would be a lie to say you hadn’t peeked at Jiu’s profile throughout the long walk. You grew fonder of her soft chocolate eyes and her inviting smile. Although you had been too shy or preoccupied by her state to talk, the silence seemed to be comfortable. The both of you enjoying each other's company while admiring the surrounding nature.
The exterior of the small cabins were painted of eccentric colors and flowers were surrounding each and every building.
You both walked closer to what seemed to be her house. She opened the door before you helped her in. She then sat down onto her bed before looking back at you.
‘’Thank you y/n’’
You simply nodded, watching her uncomfortable figure trying to chase away the pain.
‘’Could you please bring my pain medicine? It's in my underground storage behind my house, you should be able to find it by the wooden trap there’’
You weren’t sure about wandering in such a place, but if it was to help Jiu feel better, then you would do so.
‘’What does the medicine resemble? you asked, unsure
‘’It a red glass bottle with a leather cap’’ she smiled
Having all the information you needed, you hesitantly stepped out of her cabin. You walked towards the back side of the building. A few meters away from its back wall, you noticed the wooden trap. To your surprise it was left open, making it easier for you to climb down in.
The place was quite dark, with only a faint flame lighting the room. You approached the light to start searching for Jiu’s medicine.
You heard a faint noise behind you, but before you could turn to the source, you were pinned against the harsh textured wall.
‘’Who are you and why are you here?’’ a smaller women asked, her knife to your throat
You gulped, ‘’I'm here for Jiu’’
‘’How do you know any of ours name’’
‘’I'm a friend of Jiu’’ you tried explaining but to no avail.
‘’I don’t believe strangers’’ she mentioned before pushing you to the ground. She let her weight pin you down to be able to tie your hands with some rope.
She commanded you to get up before asking more questions
‘’Jiu has been gone for hours now, why should I believe you when you could be the reason of her disappearance?’’
‘’Listen, your friend was attacked and I simply helped her get back home’’
The smaller women didn't reply, but simply approached you, now curiously looking at the embroidery on your chest.
‘’The Crimson palace…what is royalty even doing here?’’ she asked herself. She then walked a few steps around the dark room, seemingly in thought.
She looked at you after pondering, ‘’Who are you?’’
‘’It's not important, we need to go help Jiu’’ you replied, impatient to get back to the injured woman.
she harshly grabbed your face ‘’It is important if you want your pretty face to get out of here unmarked’’ she snarled.
You hesitated, blowing your cover wasn’t exactly meant to happen during this ‘learning session’ away from the palace. Especially not to witches.
Her hand started clenching harder around your face.
‘’I'm the prince’’ you finally jutted out, making her let go of your face
‘’There you go, was that so hard?’’ she giggled mischievously before pushing you out the room and up the stairs
‘’Where are we going?’’ you asked, unsure of what she planned on doing with vulnerable royalty.
‘’You’ll see soon, won't you?’’ she teased. She seemed unbothered by your sligh panic, enjoying the effect she had on you. To your relief, she walked you back to Jiu’s front door. She opened the door before pushing you in, making you fall to the floor.
‘’Is this someone you know?’’ she asked after putting her feet down on your back.
‘’Sua, be careful would you?’’ Jiu snarled at her
‘’Yes I do know them, they helped me get back here’’ she confirmed before letting herself to the ground to untie your hands from the harsh rope.
She looked over you like looking over porcelain, looking for any marks that would predict future shattering.
‘’i'm fine’’ you whispered to her with a reassuring smile
She looked back to Sua ‘’Do you at least have any medicine for me?’’
‘’Here’’ Sua took out a bottle from her satchel and threw it towards the bed
‘’If they do anything, just alert us with a scream’’ she explained before leaving the both of you alone.
Jiu painfully pulled herself back up to bed, ‘’I'm sorry about that y/n, Sua is…very protective’’
‘’I can tell’’ you smiled ‘’It only means you’ll be safe here, makes my heart a bit lighter’’ you admitted. You weren’t sure if it was the product of your imagination, but you swore in that moment you saw blush spread across her face.
She opened the bottle Sua had given to her and took out some of the medication to chew on.
‘’Is that all?’’ you asked, unsure if the medication alone would help her ankle. She giggled at your question before taking out something from under her bed.
She revealed a small wooden box. She pulled some bandages out from it before starting to twist the material around her ankle. You quickly kneeled before her, offering to help her. She smiled before letting you take the material to finish surrounding her ankle. You gently secured her ankle with the material before letting her foot down.
A few seconds passed. Waiting for any response, you looked up to catch her staring at you with a fond smile. You immediately looked back down, a bit embarrassed.
‘’Thank you y/n’’ she grinned
‘’It's nothing’’ you smiled back before getting up
But Minji frowned, looking down at your leg. ‘’Did Sua really cut your pants?’’
You looked down as well, now remembering your own injury ‘’It is not Sua’s doing, it is from a fight’’
‘’Can I have a look at it, I may be able to help you in return for your services’’ she pleaded
Without a word you simply sat down next to her. Her hands wandered around the wound on your thigh. She gently raised the material off your skin. Her expression seemed pained as she traced the cut. ‘’Do you know why the blood seems greenish?’’ she looked back at you
‘’I believe my opponent had poison on his dagger, which he was not suppose to use regardless’’ you huffed
‘’I see’’ Jiu helped herself up and made her way to a cabinet, grabbing a small jar from it. She came back and gave it to you. You noticed the symbol on it, it was the plant you were looking for earlier. ‘’How did you know this was the right antidote?’’ you looked a Jiu, surprised
‘’Well witches do have a few tricks up their sleeves’’ she winked, making you smile
You looked back down at the wound, ‘’Do I just apply it directly?’’ you questioned
Jiu giggled ‘’No we have to clean it first’’ She grabbed a small bottle from one of her shelf
‘’Here is some alcohol’’ she smiled. You watched dreadfully as she opened the bottle
‘’Maybe we do not have t-’’ she cut off your sentence by pouring some of the liquid on the cut. All that could be heard was your muffled groans as you harshly pressed your lips together.
Jiu watched the liquid fizzle, like some kind of potion she would be working on. She was about to pour more but you stopped her, pleading her to not do so.
‘’Oh, I'm sorry, I didn’t realize it hurt bad’’ she apologetically smiled before replacing the alcohol bottle with the small jar. She opened it before placing a generous amount of ointment on your wound. She gently spread it so as to not hurt you.
It's only now that you realized how close she was to you. Her body almost colliding with yours, you could feel the warmth radiating from her skin. A feeling you hoped would become familiar.
She gave you some bandages to finish treating the wound. ‘’Here, you should be able to recover now’’.
You stood up to properly wrap the material around your leg. Once secured, you noticed how the lighting seemed to have faded from earlier. You looked outside only to confirm that night was indeed approaching.
‘’Well, I will be on my way now, thank you for everything Minji’’ you bowed
‘’No need y/n, thank you for rescuing me today’’ she smiled
You felt that leaving her was causing your heart to ache. After finally meeting the mysterious woman, would you simply return home and never see her again? At last, you knew these questions wouldn't be answered by staying in her home, so you opted on wishing her a good night before exiting her house.
You made sure the wooden door was safely closed and locked before turning around. You stopped in your steps, met with none other than Sua and one taller girl. Her eyes went wide before turning into a teasing look
‘’Ah Sua, I will be heading home now’’ you explained
‘’Curious, with how long the two of you were in there, I believed you were staying the night’’ Her words surprised you, making you blush.
The other girl eyed you curiously before speaking. ‘’If you aren’t interested in Minji, we could spend some time together as well’’ she smirked. Sua elbowed the taller girl ‘’Dong, this is not the time to court’’ ‘’Fine, my excuses’’ she replied before sending you a wink as she made her way back towards what you assumed to be her house.
Sua turned back towards you ‘’Leave’’ she sternly directed to you
‘’Yes miss’’ you replied before making your way out of the village.
—---
A week has passed since you last saw Minji. Although she would usually present herself during the fighting tournaments, you assumed she couldn't make her usual errands in town with her ankle.
It didn't stop you from wondering if she was well, if someone was taking care of her or if she was recovered
You had been busy with tasks at home, but you planned to visit her. So when the next morning came, you quickly exited the house to make your way to her, hoping you wouldn't be ambushed by her friends again.
—--
Making your way through the woods. you seemed to recognize the surroundings. The small stream, the flowers. Wasn’t this the place you first encountered Minji?
A sudden idea came to your mind. You approached the flowers, gently picking some of them. You place them in your bag, making sure to not fumble any of the petals before resuming your travels
—---
You saw the wooden roofs appear once again in the distance. You remembered the way, to your relief.
You carefully stepped foot into the village, looking around for signs of any of Jiu’s friends. When you judged the cost to be clear, you let yourself walk further into the small town. That's when you saw her, tending to some flowers near a cabin. She looked just as beautiful as the last time you had seen her. She was sitting on a small bench, her ankle still surrounded for protection.
You let yourself admire her for a bit, enjoying the scenery of it all. Although you felt peaceful at that moment, your heart started singing a song of its own. Its pace quickening at the mere sight of her.
Suddenly, Sua appeared behind her, bringing what looked like to be more flowers to tend too. And although Jiu hadn’t noticed you, Sua immediately did and took her dagger out before calling to you. She seemed to not remember you.She hastily made her way to you but Jiu finally turned around and made eye contact with you. She immediately smiled and called back the smaller woman, explaining to her you were the stranger who helped her a few days before.
Sua retreated before teasingly smiling at you once again. This time she let no word out, simply making a gesture for you to join Jiu.
You walked to where Jiu was sitting
‘’Y/n. How are you’’ she smiled brightly
‘’I am well, I hope you have recovered since our last meeting’’
‘’I do feel better, especially now that you are here’’ she teased before giggling at your shy expression
You reached into your bag, carefully pulling out the flowers you picked earlier. You looked down at them, breathing in before having enough courage to look back up at her. You placed the flowers in front of her, still holding onto them ‘’I wanted to give these to you’’ you shyly expressed.
You didn’t quite understand what was happening to you. You never felt much. You always passed as the cold hearted person who had no time to spare for any strangers. But here you were, feeling your chest fill with butterflies as you looked into this woman's eyes.
She gently took them into her own hands. Looking gleefully over them, smelling the different flowers you had brought to her.
She looked back at you with a grateful smile ‘’Thank you y/n’’
‘’They reminded me of you’’ you blurted out
She giggled, looking back at them ‘’Is that so?’’
For once in your life, you decided to act on your feelings instead of the logic your brain was trying so hard to push onto you.
‘’I like you..Minji’’ you looked at her, only to see her shocked.
Scared, you looked back down to your feet. That was until you felt her warmth close to you once again. You could recognize that feeling anywhere, her presence was one you could never forget, intoxicating yet a blessing.
You felt her fingers hook themselves under your chin, encouraging your gaze to meet hers. Her gaze looked sincere and loving. ‘’I admire you a lot y/n’’ she said in almost a whispers
‘’I'm sorry about what I said’’ You tried explaining yourself.
What you failed to notice all this time was that Jiu felt attracted to you as well, wondering at night where you were, if you also thought about her and missed her.
At the simple mention of her being a witch, people would either attack her or run, no one had been considerate enough to talk to her, let alone help her. You made her feel loved in a way no one before had been able too. Even when she had romantic interests, she would have to hide who she was. But with you, she let herself hope that things could be different.
Noticing the silence, you tried speaking up again ‘’I should of not sai-’’
Jiu wasn’t gonna let you finish that sentence, she wanted to let you know just how much she appreciated your existence. She pulled you in for the softest yet most passionate kiss. Her lips weren't rough nor distant, a perfect amount of pressure accompanied by a slow and loving rhythm.
You felt hypnotized, her lips casting a spell on you, her body pressing against you like she was the puzzle piece you were missing. Her hand gently grazed against the back of your neck while you held onto her waist.
for the first in a while, you felt happy. Like life had a meaning, like the world was given back its colors.
You once believed love was a curse, but if she was the one casting it, then it was well worth it.

custom content ♡ kim yoohyeon
woke up thinking abt her today, so heres a small drabble ♡
Tumblr media
The room around you was quiet, save for the occasional click of a computer mouse and turning of a book page. Your eyes were trained on the novel in front of you, mind warping around and focusing on the world it was creating.
A hum left your mouth, eyes widening at the dialogue exchange you’d just read. A shiver racked through your body, bringing your thoughts away from the created world and back to your own. Frowning, you stood and rummaged through the closet to the left of you.
“Cold?” Yoohyeon called, her eyes not leaving the monitor in front of her. You frowned even more, letting out a small “mhm”. She glanced at you with a smile, “take whatever you want.”
Her eyes narrowed then, “just not the Cinnamoroll hoodie. You never give it back.”
“It’s comfy and cute,” you let out a huff. A smile replaced your frown, though, as you continued to shuffle through her closet. Settling on a white and navy blue hoodie, you shoved your head and arms into it. You let out a content sigh once the hoodie was adjusted to your liking. “Your clothes are so much nicer than mine.”
Yoohyeon’s smile turned teasing as she brushed her hair behind her ears. She glanced at you again, “that’s just because you like me, or whatever.”
“Or whatever,” you mocked, rolling your eyes in response. Watching as she tossed her hair behind her shoulders again, you grabbed a hair clip from her dresser before walking up behind her. Twirling her dark brown hair, you pressed the faux ponytail against the back of her head, clipping the hair accessory around the strands. You leaned your chin on her shoulder, watching what she was doing on the computer. “Shopping?”
“Downloading custom content for the Sims,” she corrected. Yoohyeon leaned back against the computer chair so that she was closer to you. In return, your arms draped around her shoulders loosely and lazily. She turned to press a kiss to your cheek, “thanks.”
“Mhm,” you responded. A lilac pair of shoes on the webpage caught your attention. “Oh, those are cute.”
Yoohyeon nodded, clicking the green download button before returning to the homepage. “Look at this hairstyle I found! Comes in pink, too.”
It was a hime type cute, complete with different hair dye options. You pointed to the curly style to the right of that one. “That’s cute, too. A wolf cut, right?” Yoohyeon nodded again, downloading that hairstyle as well. You stuffed your face closer to her neck, voice becoming muffled as you spoke. “Would look cute on you.”
“You think everything looks cute on me.” You didn’t have to see her face to know she was grinning. Not even a sweet, loving grin. No — Yoohyeon was smiling smugly and cockily and you knew it. Smug little shit.
“Yeah,” you sighed. Your nose brushed against her neck before you turned your head, facing the computer again. “‘Cause I like you, or whatever.”
Yoohyeon turned to face you, leaning her head back so she could see more of your face. Her smile had melted into a more gentle one, eyes sparkling as they danced around your face. She pressed a quick kiss to your nose and then your lips. “I like you too, you know.”
Shyly, you shoved your face in her neck again. The “whatever” you let out was muted, but it still caused her to laugh. So did the grin she could feel against her throat.
“Wait, look at this dress!” Yoohyeon shook you lightly, jolting your head’s position away from her shoulder. Sighing, you looked at the pearl blue dress she was squealing about. “It also comes in florals!” She downloaded it quickly without another thought.
This went on for a while, Yoohyeon eventually dragging you down from your standing position and into the chair beside her. Your head was still resting on her shoulder, moving slightly when she got excited or moved her left arm. Finally, she broke the silence, “let’s get matching shoes for our date.”
“Date?” You perked up, blinking owlishly. This was news to you. A date wasn’t planned — the sun was also setting, signaling it a bit too late for a date. “We have a date?”
“We will,” Yoohyeon dragged the word out. She tapped the mouse, clicking different content before shaking her head in displeasure. “As soon as I find the shoes I like.”
It took a second before you let out a small noise of confirmation. “Ah, you mean in the game.”
“A date in the game can also count as a date here, too.” She said it so confidently you believed her — kinda. She nodded once in satisfaction, leaving the website and starting the Sims 4 up. “Time to go on our date, my love!”
You let out a laugh at her excitement, “whatever makes you happy.”
“That would be you, then.”
Grumbling, you shoved your face back into her neck, bashful feelings hovering over you. Yoohyeon let out a loud cackle, throwing her head back at how shy you could get. She kissed the side of your head, humming along to the music in the game. “My shy baby.”

Yo bitch, that thing i sent you on discord
Well that’s quite the message but I guess this will have to do now won’t it?
It was the middle of winter. A blizzard had just swept through only a few hours prior, coating the outside world with an extremely thick and freezing blanket of snow. Now it was just a casual snowfall, adding to the already large layer of snow that lay untouched by humans.
Yoohyeon was curled up under her duvet, her knees as close to her chest as possible as she tried to retain as much heat under the blanket. Her free hand felt freezing, but she didn’t care. She knew the heat in the house was on, and knew that it would eventually warm up. It just needed some time. She scrolled mindlessly on her feed, looking at the different memes and videos she could find.
She was half asleep when she heard the door to her bedroom open, and the sound of shuffling feet. She turned her head to see Siyeon walk in, wearing only a hoodie and shorts. She could see how pink her skin was getting from the cold temperature and could see her shivering even wearing the hoodie.
The older woman didn’t say anything, only climbed on top of the covers and hugged Yoohyeon the best she could in her position. Yoohyeon was confused but decided to set her phone down and help her unnie under the covers. She could feel how cold she was the second she got under, feeling just how cold her bare skin was when it made contact with her clothed leg.
Siyeon shivered for a few brief moments before Yoohyeon opened her arms, allowing the older girl to curl into the body that had been occupying the bed prior to her. Siyeon had rolled into her, clinging to her shirt as she continued to shiver, accepting whatever warmth she could get.
Yoohyeon continued to scroll on her phone as she held her unnie, feeling her slowly stop shivering after a while. She could feel her breathing evening out, signaling that she was falling asleep just like that. She stayed still, listening to the breathing before setting her phone down and looking down at her unnie the best she could in her position.
Siyeon had her head tucked down, her cheeks pink from the sudden warmth that she was experiencing. Yoohyeon didn’t dare to move before but she did move back slightly, just to get a better look at her.
She could feel a warm feeling spread through her chest, and she didn’t mind it. She knew what the feeling was and couldn’t help but start to smile to herself as she watched her sleep.
Siyeon could’ve chosen anyone in the dorm to cuddle and she always chose Yoohyeon every time. She knew how much the older woman loved her and she couldn’t help but goofily smile about it.
Yoohyeon moved to just watch Siyeon sleep soundly, taking in all of her features as if she was going to disappear the second she woke up. She loved everything about the older woman and she was never sure how to voice it. She would always tumble over her words, misexplain things, but Siyeon would give her a knowing smile before holding her hands and reassuring her that she could stop talking. That she loved her without the mushy words that came with it.
It never failed to make Yoohyeon melt when she did that.
And moments like these were what fueled those mindless rambles. Yoohyeon had so much love for her that she couldn’t help but just want to tell her in so many words no matter how long it took.
The younger felt a small chill on her back, realizing now she was growing cold from the lack of blanket covering her. She carefully slid out of the bed, making sure to not disturb the older woman as she walked to her closet, pulling another larger blanket out. It was much softer and never failed to warm her up quickly on cold nights. She wondered why she didn’t pull it out in the first place, but she decided not to think too long before she turned and saw Siyeon’s sleeping figure in her bed.
Another goofy smile appeared on her face as she watched her sleep. The warm feeling spread through her chest as she watched the only person she cared so deeply about sleep peacefully. She knew that if someone came in, they would most definitely make fun of her with how creepy the scene would’ve looked. She knew the adoration was pouring out of her eyes like a broken pipe. She knew just how she looked, but she didn’t care.
She loved Siyeon with her whole body and soul.
It didn’t take long for the older woman to wake up at the lack of another body in the bed. She opened her eyes slowly, turning to see Yoohyeon just staring at her from the side of the bed.
“What are you doing?” Siyeon’s voice was laced with sleep and concern, seeing the younger girl in such a trance made her worry. “Are you okay?” She frowned.
“Yeah…” Yoohyeon snapped out of her little trance before throwing the blanket over the both of them and climbed right back under the covers with her. “I just love you so much.” She whispered before going back to holding the older woman.
“I love you too Yootony.” Siyeon smiled as she rested her head on Yoohyeon’s shoulder. She glanced back up when she noticed the younger wasn’t moving and saw her staring at her yet again. “It’s getting late.” She whispered.
“So?” Yoohyeon muttered.
“You should rest.” Siyeon raised her head, feeling the same feeling Yoohyeon was feeling. “We have busy days coming up. We should be resting as much as possible.”
Yoohyeon didn’t say another word, but she did decide to lean in and kiss the older woman. Siyeon happily obliged, holding Yoohyeon close to her until they pulled away, both having adoring looks on their faces.
“I really love you Siyeon.” Yoohyeon whispered. She opened her mouth to say more but had been stopped by Siyeon holding a finger up.
“I know.” Siyeon chuckled quietly. “I really love you too.”

Hi! I'd like to request a Jiu x Yoohyeon x Reader smut oneshot where the girls notice Y/N during a concert and take an instant liking to her. They flirt a lot throughout the show, but it's not enough; so they invite her backstage afterwards for some one on one time. NDA incoming...
Thank you in advance if you decide to write this :)
The lucky fan
Dreamcatcher scenario: Reader having a threesome in the backstage with Jiu and Yoohyeon
Requests are open
Hello Anon! This was such a interesting and challenging request, being my first smut scenario, so...I hope you like it!😁
Dreamcatcher Jiu & Yoohyeon X GN!Reader
Genre: Smut
Tumblr media
That morning you woke up in a good mood. Every action that usually bothers you, today it's not a problem. You went to work, you did the household chores and you even bought the grocieres like it was nothing. But what is the cause of all this positivity? The answer is simple: today you're going to the Dreamcatcher concert. It didn't happen often that one of your favourite group in K-pop would make a stop in your city for their tour. So, you bought the tickets as soon as possible and luckily some of your close friends did the same.
After being occupied all the day, you finally entered in the place where the concert was set. You were in one of the first rows, so you could clearly see the stage and the girls. Talking about them, they were stunning in real life, even more gorgeous that in the video you always see. This set of red clothes were perfect for them.
Just after the first songs, you noticed something odd. Jiu and Yoo seemed to look at you sometimes. They even stand closer like for discussing about something. However the the night went even better from that point. The two started to flirt secretly with you: not only winks and flying kisses, but sometimes they even lick and bites their lips. The best moment for you was for sure when the two girls where dancing in a very intimate way while looking at you in a very hot way. But why you in all the people in the hall? Maybe because you were dressed so elegantly, since for you that concert was important like a wedding. But in these moments you weren't really asking the reason, but you preferred to enjoy the moment.
Sadly the end of concert was around the concert, only thing missing was the encore. You thought that the night couldn't go better, but you were clearly wrong. While you were waiting for girls to come out again, a member from the staff made you follow him. You thought of the worst: maybe the group was not flirting with you and instead they were bothered by you, so they reported you to the security.
By the way the dark thought went away, when the man has led you in the backstage, where the girls were ready to return on the stage. The two girls saw you coming and smiled, and then they were gone again. The man brought you in a room near the dressing rooms. He asked you to sit comfortably and then passed to you some documents.
He started to explain: "You must be confused about why you are here. I understand it, but let me talk without interruptions and everything will be clear to you. So, I'm Paul, the SPM of Dreamcatcher for this tour."
The question just come out naturally from your mouth: "You are a what?"
He answered calmly: "A SPM: Sex Personal Assistant. Now, two of my beneficiaries, respectively miss JiU and miss Yoohyeon, are interested in having a "special fan meeting" with you. To make it happen, you need to firm this files. They are NDA, non-disclosure agreement: basically you can't talk about about this encounter for no reason and with no one. Do the opposite and their agency will confiscate even your underwear. Do you understand me?"
After that discourse, you wanted to know only one thing: "Is this for free?"
"Of course! We make firm these documents only for a security and ethical issu-"
He didn't finish his sentenze that you had the pen in your hands. After the talk with Paul, you stayed in the room waiting with your heart pounding. After half an hour, the door opened.
"There it is the lucky fan!" said the leader entering in the room, followed by the other girl.
They quickly sat down next to you: Jiu on the right and Yoo on the left. The pink-haired started licking around your ear, while the other was kissing your neck.
"So, what's your name, beautiful?" "I a-am Y/N...n-nice to meet you!" "Aww, Unnie, our friend is a timid one" "That's better, Yoo, my favorite type. So, baby, do you want this two nasty girls to help you relaxing, right?"
Right after the question, the girl started to unbotton your shirt, while Yoo was even more direct: her hand was caressing below the waist. Soon, all this touching got you very excited. Thing that the black-haired girl did not miss to notice.
"Oh, look at you, you're way more comfortable now, why don't you thank us doing something nice?"
Then she stood up and took her jeans off, remaining only in panty. Jiu did the same with her leggings, but this time there were not any underwear, her shaved pussy was right in front of you. She was clearly more eager to begin the action, in fact she said:
"You know what to do: eat this pussies like they were your breakfast, baby"
It looks like that's just what you did. You had in your sight two of hottest idol of the scene, completely naked and horny. Without esitation, you tongue started to lick Jiu's pussy with hunger, while your hand, moved a bit Yoo's panty for then starting to finger her. Every few minutes you switched the actions for the two, until they were soaking wet. They were clearly ready to reach the climax, so you made them sit on the sofà and started fingering them together. It's when you said "Please, cum for me, I need it" that they lose it all. They have reached the orgasm almost simultaneously.
They were surprised by your change of attitude, but that fact must have triggered something in them. In fact they threw you on the couch and then they got on their knees. Yoo said:
"You were so good, Y/N. Now let us exchange the favor"
Their mouths started working with your intimacy zone. First slowly, then with a moderate speed and in the end their lips and tongue were as fast as they could. You were having such an hard time trying to not give up, but all your resistance vanished away when you met their eyes while they were in action. Few seconds and you reached the climax too.
You couldn't catch a breath that two girls were ready to take the whole thing to the next level. You were lying down on the couch, when Jiu sat on your face, oblying you lick her pussy again; instead Yoo got between your legs and started riding you.
The entire room was fillen with sensual moans, the girls seemed to have to the time of their life. Probably you would have moaned too if your mouth wasn't already occupied. Jiu was the first one to surrender to pleasure, ruining the pattern of the sofà with her release. Now you were 1 vs 1 with Yoohyeon, it was your time to regain the control. In a strong but no violent way, you have moved the girl, putting yourself on top and riding her.
"Noo~, I should be on toooo-"
The protests of the girl went out very soon, because her brain was too busy in assimiling the pleasure of having a good fuck. The assist to conclude was given to you by Jiu, who started sucking her member's tits. The orgasm was so intense that she passed out.
Jiu, while you were concentrated on Yoo, had recovered and was ready to have another round. Without any forewarning, she put an hand on your neck and whispered to you, angrily:
"Now you're mine. We are going to have a little more fun, aren't we?"
No more words were needed. She made you lie down on a table, that was in the room, for then putting herself over you. She started moving as her life depended from that fuck. You two were sweating like crazy, no more moans but animals sounds coming from yours mouths. You thought that you could go on for much more time. However with one eye you saw Yoo. She was still on couch, masturbating while watching you and her leader fuck. That was it for you. One of your bias touching herself because of you? You were done. Luckily also Jiu was at her limit. Few more minutes and both of you were panting on the floor.
That was the end of your fan meeting, all three of you were dead tired after all that movement. You were satisfied but sad because you have to leave the girls. However before going away, Jiu took your phone and did something. Responding to your questioning look, she said:
"You were the best sex partner we met during this tour. Here's our number, call us when there will be another concert in your city. We'll give you a place of honor and maybe we can have...another encounter of this type"
Both of them kissed you on the cheeks and left. While going home, you were thinking about how lucky you were. That probably was the best day of your life. The scenes you lived few hours before, were replaying on your head, when your phone buzzed. You looked at the text.
"Hi, this is Jiu. I took your number too. The next date is delayed due the bad weather, so we are going to stay in city more days. Do you want to come to hotel tomorrow and meet the other girls? They are eager to meet you <3"
You smiled. Maybe the next day was going to be even better.

“Drunk-Dazed”
Tumblr media
Yoohyeon (Dreamcatcher) x Female Reader
(1 part - completed ✅)
Word Count: 8265
Summary: Being a member in the debut lineup for HFE/Dreamcatcher Company’s new girl group is stressful for a number of reasons, but your increasingly complicated feelings for a certain tall brunette from your senior group rapidly becomes the main one when you’re shoved into a dark room to find her unbuttoning her shirt…
Warnings: angst, cursing, alcohol use, mild sexual content
This story features appearances of idols: Yujin (IVE), Yeji (Itzy), Heejin (ARTMS), & Yves/Sooyoung (soloist - formerly LOONA)
"C'mon, unnie," a voice whined, breaking my focus on the lyrics in front of me. "Give it a rest. You've been writing all day." From my peripheral I could see a pout on the brunette's face.
"I have not been writing all day," I countered, putting my pen back over my notebook page in the hopes that a line would magically come out of it. I had admittedly been working for a few hours and managed to write an entire song already. But this one still felt like it was missing something. That last finishing touch. And I couldn't leave until I figured it out. I didn't like splitting my writing sessions up; my songs have to be completed in one sitting, because I feared I'd be in a different mindset when I picked it up again and wouldn't be able to do it justice.
"Right, like eight hours isn't 'all day,'" the younger member mocked and I could practically hear her eye roll from her spot in the doorway. Her words caused me to let go of my pen and turn around in my chair to narrow my eyes at her. "Okay, maybe I was exaggerating a little..."
“‘A little,'" I muttered, spinning back around.
She rushed over, sitting on the bed next to the desk and grabbing my knee before I could pick my pen back up. "But I really think you should take a break." I paused to look at her for a moment, trying hard to resist. "You've been working a lot lately, even after practice hours... especially after practice hours." I forced a smile and shook my head, turning to the side to fight back a sarcastic laugh. "I'm serious, unnie," she said, bringing my eyes back to hers, "We're all worried about you."
I blinked as she stared back, completely serious. Had it really gotten that bad? I mean, our debut was nearing, so of course I'd been working harder these days. I often took time out of my breaks to work on writing and producing: perfecting the songs we planned to put on the album. But, that's what everyone does, right? That's what I was expected to do as an idol.
I sighed. Maybe I was going a little overboard. Shaking my head once more, I replied, "I'm sorry, Yujin." Taking a deep breath, I rubbed my hands over my face as I exhaled. "I didn't mean to make you guys worry." My lips turned down when my eyes met hers again. Sometimes I wondered what I did to deserve such caring members.
Yujin's warm, brown eyes shined in the lamp light as a smile slowly spread across her lips, exposing her dimples. "It's okay, unnie," she said, and suddenly launched forward, jumping on me and wrapping her arms around my shoulders. I laughed, still somewhat unused to her physical affection. She really did suit the role of maknae perfectly, always acting clingy and cute towards me like a puppy. "I know you're doing it for us," she whispered, making my chest feel warm.
There was a brief moment of silence where I allowed myself to appreciate the support and love I felt from the young singer on my lap. She probably had a million things on her mind being so young, away from home, and having pressures and expectations put on her that nobody her age should ever have to deal with. Yet, she still chose to prioritize me over all of it. The funny thing is, I was the oldest member, so I should've been the one taking care of her, not the other way around.
"This does mean you're gonna take a break now, right?" Yujin mumbled into my shoulder before backing away.
I laughed. "Yes, that's what it means." She giggled and stood up, pulling me up with her like she thought I might've been lying, still planning to stay planted in that chair for the rest of the night.
"Good, because your girlfriend invited you to a party." A voice from outside the room cut in, directing my eyes to the open doorway. There stood a muscular girl with golden hair pulled back in a half-up half-down hairstyle.
"Who, you?" Yujin replied, raising her eyebrows in disbelief, "Because last time I checked she was my-"
"I don't remember inviting Y/N to a party." Yet another voice interrupted the youngest member, appearing behind the blonde. She nonchalantly popped what I assumed was a peanut in her mouth, making her short, dark red hair flop to one side before she smirked and sent me a wink.
"Sooyoung unnie~" Yujin dragged out, whining at the red-haired member, "you ruined my line." I just stood there with pink cheeks as I watched the all-too-familiar scene play out in front of me.
"Blame Heejin, she's the one who said my name." Sooyoung shrugged, leaning one of her hands near the top of the door frame.
"She said 'Y/N's girlfriend,'" Yujin grumbled, clearly annoyed.
"Exactly," Sooyoung said, sending the maknae a tight-lipped smile.
"Uh, clearly I was referring to myself," Heejin butted in before the youngest member could get a word in. And, just like that, the room erupted into chaos, all three members yelling and arguing over each other.
If you had told me a few years ago that three of my future group members would be fighting over me, I would've laughed in your face, even if they were joking. And, yet, here I stand.
"Guys, guys please," I raised my voice loud enough to be heard over the bickering. Luckily they started to quiet down after getting their last remarks in and sneering at each other. "Enough with the joking-"
"Oh, you think we're joking." Sooyoung deadpanned, then looked me up and down in a way that made me feel weak in the knees.
"So is Y/N coming to Minji's party?" A fourth voice asked, completely oblivious to what just went down (or, maybe just so used to it that she had tuned the bickering out). All eyes landed on the brown and pink haired member like she had just exposed their secret.
"Yeji..." Heejin said disappointedly.
"Wait, I thought you were talking about Yoohyeon," Yujin furrowed her eyebrows.
"I thought you were talking about me." Sooyoung added, feigning cluelessness.
"Be quiet!" The other two members said in unison, only making the red-haired woman smile proudly.
"I was talking about Yoohyeon," Heejin explained. "It's Minji's party, but Yoohyeon's the one who invited us."
It took a moment to process, but once everything clicked, I shouted, "Yah! Yoohyeon's not my girlfriend."
"Right, and Sooyoung's not attracted to women." Heejin muttered, making the maknae bust out laughing.
"Yah, watch it, hypocrite." Sooyoung raised her chin towards the youngest.
"She's the hypocrite." Yujin giggled, pointing at Heejin. "And she's not wrong."
"You're all missing the point here," the blonde took over, turning back towards me, "Y/N is the hypocrite."
"I-"
"Nope. You get no say in this." Heejin pointed a finger at me and then quickly put it down. "We all know you like her."
"Yep," Yujin confirmed.
Sooyoung coughed before muttering, "Simp," then looked around like nothing happened.
Even Yeji was nodding in agreement and I knew, at this point, arguing was useless.
"So, about that party..." I smiled sheepishly.
"Ayyyy," a couple of them yelled and Sooyoung ran over to put her arm around my shoulders and drag me out of the room. Before I could regret my decision, we were all packing into a van on our way to our company building.
~
When we got to HappyFace, the members of Dreamcatcher had prepared more for their little impromptu party than we had initially anticipated. I honestly thought we'd just be sitting, talking, and maybe eating, but Sua had apparently insisted on making the practice room into a dance floor/party room. We could hear the music blaring the second we stepped out of the van. We all ended up laughing, expecting no less from a group just as chaotic as ours.
Soon after we went inside, the girls split up, going to eat or dance. I ended up staying in the main room, eating snacks and making small talk with Handong. I hadn't seen Yoohyeon yet and I wondered if she even came or decided to stay back in the dorm. I figured, since she invited us, she would at least make an appearance at some point.
My wandering eyes must've given me away, because Dongie suddenly said, "She's in one of the vocal practice rooms."
I played innocent, "What?"
"Yoohyeon," the pink-haired woman explained, "I know that's who you're looking for." The knowing grin on her face sent heat rushing to my cheeks.
"That's not what I-"
"She insisted on staying in there," she continued, ignoring my protests, "I think something's making her nervous," she drew out with a smirk, causing my face to darken a shade. "Maybe you should go talk to her."
"Uh..." I stared dumbly.
"It's okay, I know you want to," Handong smiled what seemed like an actual genuine, comforting smile before shooing me away, "now go."
I sighed, getting up and walking towards the practice rooms reluctantly. I didn't want to admit that Handong was right, but I did want to talk to Yoohyeon. Although, the thought of being in a room with her alone made me nervous. Even just making eye contact was enough to make me completely forget any language known to man, so this encounter was sure to end with me making a fool out of myself.
As I neared the rooms, I heard quiet humming leaving one of them and figured it must be her since the other members were elsewhere and no one would be using these right now. The humming stopped abruptly when I knocked quietly on the door.
"Come in," that voice I had grown addicted to said gently.
I opened the door slowly, seeing that her back was turned to me and her hand was holding a pencil as she wrote in her notebook. The scene reminded me of earlier today and I wondered if she would overwork herself when she got anxious like I did. She was wearing a loose, multicolored flannel, tight, black adidas pants, and her usual converse shoes. Her brown hair was freshly cut into a bob style and time seemed to stop for a second when she looked back at me. I hadn't seen her in person since she changed her hair and suddenly I understood why everyone was talking about it. She was breathtaking.
"Hi?" She smiled shyly, probably not expecting me. I stood there staring at her, still struck by her beauty... so long that she ended up giggling.
"Sorry," I shook my head, looking at the ground and internally cursing myself for the blush I knew was on my cheeks. "I didn't mean to interrupt. I can leave if you-"
"No!" She shouted, making my eyes widen and dart back to her. "I mean, no, it's okay." She looked away, but I noticed her jaw clench. "I was just finishing up anyways."
I nodded with a smile, endeared that she didn't seem to want me to leave. Though, I realized, she couldn't see it, so I replied, "okay."
A few seconds of awkward silence passed between us. We used to be able talk hours on end without ever running out of things to say. But, lately, there was a strange tension between us and it made me wonder what changed. I mean, I know what changed for me... I developed feelings for her. But what changed for her? Or was I just the one making it awkward?
"Did you happen to watch that scary movie I told you about?" I asked randomly, resisting the urge to facepalm for picking that, out of everything, as the topic of conversation.
Yoohyeon laughed, turning her head to meet my eyes again, showing off her smile that always gave me butterflies. "Yeah, I did, actually."
I returned the smile, touched that she cared enough to follow through with my recommendations. "And?"
"It was good," she shrugged, "I liked it."
"I-is that it?"
"Well, you were kinda hyping it up a lot so maybe I was expecting more from it?" Yoohyeon drug the words out like she was asking a question, probably too afraid to outright say she didn't like it because she didn't want to ruin it for me.
"Yah. It was so good though," I argued.
"Was it really good or do you just have a crush on the hot Japanese lesbian character in it?" She blurted out, making my jaw drop. How was I supposed to respond to that? "Mhm, that's what I thought. You totally have a thing for Japanese girls."
"No, I really don't," I defended, but she wasn't even listening.
"What's with that by the way?" She kept going, "It's like you don't even like Korean girls."
I couldn't help but laugh. Ironic that she was the one saying that. "You have no idea." I muttered.
"Oh really?" She perked up. Why did I say that out loud? "So you do like Korean girls?" She asked and then all-too-eagerly gestured for me to come sit next to her. Why was she so interested in this?
I sighed, wiping my sweaty hands on my pants before walking over. "Yeah." I sat down. Yoohyeon stared at me for a second like she was checking to make sure I wasn't lying. The way her eyes were carefully scrutinizing my face started getting to me. I couldn't take when she looked at me like that. "What?" I said shyly, pushing her shoulder so that she'd stop staring.
"What?" She repeated with a laugh. "I can't look at you?" A teasing smile made its way onto her lips. This wasn't a new occurrence. Although, it was normally me intentionally making her panic. Now it was more often the other way around. The more times I noticed I couldn't keep eye contact with her the more I started to realized I liked her more than just a friend.
"You know that's not it," I blushed, still looking away.
"Then what?" Yoohyeon giggled, shoving my shoulder back.
"It's just-"
"It's just what?" She leaned forward, wanting me to look at her.
I smiled in my embarrassment. "Nothing. It's stupid anyways." I glanced at her a second to see her watching my expressions closely.
"Well now you have to tell me." She grinned, using the phrase we always used to when one of us wouldn't tell the other something.
I turned my head to her. "It's just..." She was perched on the edge of her seat, so eager for what I had to say. And God, I wanted so badly to tell her. Maybe she was hoping I'd admit my feelings. But how could I know? Maybe I could just go the safe route and compliment her. After what we were talking about earlier, maybe she'd get the hint. "You look..." pretty? No, she hates being called pretty. Beautiful? Is that even any different? I can't just say 'good' and 'handsome' seems a little weird right now. Maybe 'attractive'... no that sounds douchey-
"What, I look ugly?"
"No! No, of course not," I rushed out and we both ended up laughing.
"You look beautiful," I said, causing her to stop laughing and look at me.
When she realized I was being serious, she was the one to break eye contact. "Really?" She chuckled, her voice shaky. "I just got out of practice though," she brushed it off. "I think you're lying." She joked. I noticed she tended to do that any time we got serious like this.
"Really? I would've never guessed," I replied honestly. She seriously was completely and utterly clueless about how beautiful she was.
She met my eyes again, timid. "You're just saying that-"
"No, I mean, you look good in anything. Even your practice clothes." Her cheeks turned red and she laughed nervously while punching my shoulder.
"Shut up."
"Yah, I'm being serious." I laughed, pushing her hands away from me. "And I get why everyone likes your new hairstyle." She finally stopped attacking me and looked back at me. We just stared at each other for a moment and, as much as I hoped she realized I was being genuine, the sudden silence made me nervous again. "Really though. You look like a badass Black Widow or something," I finally broke the silence.
"Ooookay." She laughed and stood up. "Marvel nerd." She shoved me for the eightieth time tonight. "That's my cue to leave."
"Noooo," I cried dramatically, "don't leave me, unnie."
"Unnie?" She exclaimed with a laugh. "When have you ever called me that?" Before I could respond, she was walking out the door and turning off the light with me still inside. "That person's weird," she yelled back and I just imagined her pointing her finger back at the door.
Well, guess it's safe to say the compliment route didn't work...
~
About an hour passed and I hadn't talked to Yoohyeon any more. Some of my younger members had headed back to the dorm to rest and a couple others I had lost track of. Most of the older members started drinking and, with the majority of them being lightweights, let's just say... they were intoxicated. And Dreamcatcher + alcohol did not equal a pleasant mix.
I would find this out sooner rather than later when Sua came out of nowhere and started dragging me down the hall. I didn't have time to ask where she was taking me before she was pushing me through a doorway. The room it led to was dark with nothing but moving colored lights illuminating the surroundings and music blaring, similar to the practice room.
"Alright, we can start now," Sua shouted after closing the door behind me and running to the center of the room where a table was set up. Crowded around the table, I noticed Minji, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Dami, Sooyoung, and Heejin, along with Sua.
Sooyoung saw me and made her way over, pulling me further in the room. "There you are. We've been waiting for you." Her words came out slow and a little slurred.
"What's going on?" I asked. "And are you drunk?" Just as I tried to scold her for setting a bad example as our leader, Sua's loud voice cut in.
"Alriiiight, ladies," she clapped her hands together once, "first up is... drumroll please..." The girls around me started making drumroll noises with their mouths or tapped on the table with their fingers. It was pretty dark, so it was hard to make out their faces, but they all seemed to be smiling like they were doing something they shouldn't be. Sua tapped on the device in her hand and then smirked. "Yoohyeon!" she said, making the room erupt into cheers.
I looked over just as the tall member put her hands over her face in embarrassment. Clearly she was dreading being picked and I wondered what could be so bad that she didn't want to do. Sua nudged the brunette forward a little towards the table. "The party Gods have chosen you," a slap sounded, making Yoohyeon flinch. From my time around this group, I had a good feeling it came from the dancer spanking Yoohyeon's butt, "start stripping." I nearly choked on my own spit. Stripping??
Smacking Sooyoung next to me, I gave her a look that showed her how insane I thought this all was. "What did you drag me into?" I whisper-yelled, glad the music was loud enough and the room was dark enough to mask my panic.
"Just watch." She replied, much too calm for my liking.
Calm is the furthest thing away from what I was right now, and it only seemed to drift further and further out of reach as I watched Yoohyeon's shaky hands slowly start unbuttoning her flannel. One by one, from the bottom up, the buttons were let loose by her slim fingers, exposing a few more inches of her tan skin every time. Even with it being dark, the occasional flashing party lights danced across her torso, highlighting how taut the muscles were underneath her smooth skin. She wore only a tight, grey Calvin Klein bra underneath, making all the blood rush to my head.
Ignoring the hollering from her members and mine, she tugged on the sleeves and finally pulled the shirt all the way off. Dami grabbed it from her hands, but I barely even paid attention. I was too focused on her. My heart pounded in my chest as my eyes took in every inch of her skin: her strong neck, exposed collarbones, defined biceps, long torso, tiny waist. I nearly had to stop myself from stepping forward and tracing my fingers over the lines between her abs, it was so tempting. What I would give to just touch-
"You're staring," a low voice whispered to my side. I turned suddenly, growing embarrassed when I realized it was Siyeon who had caught me.
"And blushing," Sooyoung added, to which I responded with another slap on her shoulder.
"Am not," I defended, making Siyeon laugh.
"Wait 'til you see what comes next," the blue-haired vocalist teased, directing my eyes back to the shirtless girl.
My mouth went dry when she climbed onto the table and laid on her back as Sua stood over her. This couldn't possibly be leading anywhere good. Minji came from the other side of the room with a bottle of tequila and a few other items in her hands that I couldn't quite make out. Yep, this definitely wasn’t good.
"While Minji's getting everything ready, let's see who tonight's lucky participant is." Sua tapped on her device once more as the crowd started yelling again.
Yoohyeon looked anxiously around the room and I subconsciously scooted over so that Sooyoung was blocking her view of me. Meanwhile, Dami was helping pour a shot while Minji handed Yoohyeon a lime and started shaking something into her hand over the younger member's torso. When she was satisfied, she turned her hand over onto Yoohyeon's stomach and started spreading the white grains into a line down the middle, from the top of her bellybutton to the white band on her bra. Salt? Or sugar? Everyone else seemed to know what was happening, but I was growing more confused by the second.
"And, the lucky winner is..." the drumming noises picked up again and Sua seemed to drag it out longer this time. Her eyes glanced up from her phone to meet mine and a devilish grin took over her lips. Oh no. "Congratulations Y/NN," she mocked victoriously and somehow I knew from that look on her face that this wouldn't end well for me.
I froze, sure I was hearing things. I didn't even notice how Yoohyeon's cheeks had turned pink or that Sooyoung had walked behind me until I was being shoved towards the table. The girls in the room cheered, but I was hardly focused on them. Sua grabbed my arm, pulling me to the edge of the table and handed me something.
"What do I-"
"Drink this," she instructed, gesturing to the shot glass now in my left hand, "then all you have to do is finish it off with some salt and lime. It's that easy." Her calm voice nearly convinced me, but the hint of mischief in her eyes made me rethink. The laughter coming from the short silver-haired rapper confirmed my suspicions.
There's no way that's all I had to do.
Then, my eyes caught sight of the white line trailing down the center of Yoohyeon's abs. Salt. Her hand hesitantly reached up to her mouth to bite down on the fruit Minji had given her. Lime.
Well, fuck.
I looked over at Sua in utter disbelief. All she did was wink and say, "Go get her, tiger." She smacked me on the butt, sending me forward and forcing me to catch myself on either sides of the table next to Yoohyeon's ankles. I was positioned right between her legs, giving me a sickeningly attractive view of her body. Suddenly my head started spinning and my gut twisted. Now I was sure I'd pass out.
I didn't have time for that though when the whole room started chanting, "One-shot! One-shot! One-shot!" Sua had turned her phone flashlight on as an impromptu spotlight, so that everyone could see what was happening. Looking down at the liquor in my hand, I tried to convince myself that it wouldn't be that bad. The alcohol would help, right? Isn't that why they called it liquid courage?
I felt a bead of sweat drip down the back of my neck as I looked back at Yoohyeon. She didn't dare look up at me and it made my fingers numb. What was she thinking? Did she want this? Would it make her uncomfortable? It definitely felt like it was crossing a line. What if it made things weird between us? But, then again, things between us are already weird...
Screw it.
The girls cheered even louder when I put the shot glass to my lips and tilted my head back, downing the entire thing. Not even a second later I started feeling the effects of the liquor. It was like lightning traveling through my veins, electrifying my senses and making my mind go numb. I wasn't at all prepared for the adrenaline rush it would give me and suddenly doing this didn't seem like a bad idea at all. I wanted it, after all.
Jumping up to plant my knees on the table, I nearly toppled over onto the girl now below me before I caught myself. The alcohol certainly wasn't helping with coordination, but it did make me feel a million times more intensely as I looked down at Yoohyeon. The image of her from this angle was so overwhelming that chills ran across my skin. When she finally met my eyes, her own looked nervous and unsure. In that split second, I raised my eyebrow at her in a silent request for consent that I hoped she would understand. When she raised her own back and looked down at her stomach, I swallowed thickly. She was challenging me.
My hand instinctively brushed my hair back as I lowered myself over her body, causing the overdramatic idols surrounding us let out a few pterodactyl screeches. I grabbed her hips over her black athletic pants, noticing how her hands gripped the side of the table in anticipation, and looked down at the trail of salt starting just above her bellybutton, watching as her stomach moved up and down with her lungs. Her heart must've been beating as fast as mine, she was breathing so heavily. The taste of alcohol still stung the back of my throat, begging me to replace it with something different.
Here goes nothing.
I took a massive breath in before placing the tip of my tongue on her skin. I was glad I had chosen to hold her for support because she instinctively bucked her hips at the contact. This reaction went straight to my head and I flattened my tongue on the way up her smooth stomach in the hopes that she'd do it again. The salty taste quickly became too much, but I kept going, not ready to chicken out just yet. And I was thankful I didn't when she inhaled sharply and arched her back off the table, forcing my nose to brush against her skin. My hands had moved higher on her waist to push her back against the table, allowing me to feel the goosebumps I had left in my wake. Once I finally managed to make it all the way to her bra, her muscles tighten underneath me because of what she knew was coming next and I could've swore I heard her whine when I pulled back.
Raising my head to get a look at her, I had to clench my teeth to stop an ungodly sound from leaving my mouth. Her neck was strained as she tilted her head back with her eyes closed and her teeth clenched around the lime slice between her lips for likely the same reason I was forcing mine closed. Or maybe that was wishful thinking and her body language was really alluding to her discomfort. The thought made me embarrassed for being so aroused by what had just happened. How could I be sure that she was enjoying this too?
By now, I had completely blocked out the people around us, only able to hear the blood pounding in my ears. Just being this close to her and feeling her chest rise and fall against mine made me feel like I was burning alive in the best way possible. So when she finally opened her eyes to let me see that they had now turned a shade darker, that fire burned even hotter. Maybe she was enjoying this. Her chin tilted upwards while she stared intensely into my eyes. It seemed obvious she was offering me the lime between her teeth, but something in her stare felt like she was daring me to do more.
I stayed there for a moment, just looking down at her, frozen. The nerves and doubts started to creep back in as I glanced back and forth between her eyes, almost forcing me off that table. Almost. But then Yoohyeon glanced down at my lips and cocked her eyebrow just like I had done earlier. The simple action felt like she was confirming that she was feeling everything I had been feeling and wanted me to keep going.
So, I slowly leaned down, feeling her eyes on me every second. When I reached the lime, my bottom lip brushed against hers, making her inhale through her nose and bite down harder. One of her hands darted to my jaw as I tilted my head to grab the lime from her with my teeth. She let me take it into my own mouth, watching as I bit down into the fruit, licking her own lips. The sour taste topped off my heightened senses, and now, all I wanted to taste was her.
With her bottom lip now caught between her teeth, she moved her hand to take the lime from my mouth. I allowed her to throw it on the ground and licked the rest of the juice from my own lips. Her eyes followed my tongue and stayed on my lips. After a few seconds that felt like hours, she put her hand on the back of my neck to pull me down and there was no doubt in my mind that she was going to kiss me. She didn't even care that other people were looking, it was only me and her ... except, it wasn't.
"Okay, enough fun lovebirds." Sua's voice rudely interrupted, bringing the rapidly escalating moment to a full stop. "Go get a room or something." She shoved me off of Yoohyeon and I would've fallen off the table had Sooyoung not been there to catch me.
I had been so invested in that moment that it felt like sensory overload when my hearing tuned back in to everything around me. Sooyoung held me up straight and shook my shoulders, trying to bring me back down to planet Earth. "Uhm, what the fuck just happened?!" She nearly yelled, pulling me to the side of the room, away from the table.
I looked over my shoulder to see Yoohyeon glancing back at me while Dami put her shirt back on her. The shiny line on her abdomen made me bite the side of my tongue, remembering the taste of salt and the feeling of her warm, soft skin underneath it. "You tell me," I replied, unable to pull my eyes away from the brunette. She was going to kiss me. The pit of my stomach tingled at the thought.
"Dude," Sooyoung turned me so that I was finally looking at her, "you're fucking crazy." I tried to ignore her, the last thing I needed right now was a lecture. Instead I tried looking for Yoohyeon, who, in the split second I had turned away, had vanished. "I don't think they were actually expecting you to do it," Sooyoung admitted.
"What?" I immediately turned back to her, now angry. "You mean they set this up as a... as a joke?"
"No it's-"
"And you let me do it?" I yelled, ripping my arm out of her hold and glaring at her.
"To be fair, I didn't think you would," Sooyoung tried to reason, but it was too late. Now I was overthinking everything. What if she wasn't really trying to kiss me?
"I gotta go," I said and walked to the door, not waiting for a reply.
"Wait, Y/N!" Sooyoung yelled after me, but I was already gone.
~
Feeling overwhelmed by embarrassment, I rushed through the company halls, hoping to escape this place before anyone could stop me. I was so sure of the fact that I had made Yoohyeon uncomfortable that I felt ashamed and disgusted with myself. She was my friend, why would I think that was a good idea? I should've known doing something that foolish would have repercussions. I was just so wrapped up in the idea that she might've actually liked me as much as I liked her. When, in reality, that was probably farthest from the truth.
Now I was sure things between us could never be the same again. How could I ever face her knowing how I made her feel? Maybe it would be best if I tried to avoid her all together. It might be tricky being forced to use the same tiny company building, but maybe I could manage it. I had to.
Ironically, as I paced down the hallway in my trek to the exit, the door to a vocal practice room opened to reveal the very girl I was desperately trying to evade. When she noticed it was me, her gaze was so intense that I felt the need to start spewing apologies as I tried to leave.
"I'm really sorry and I know you probably hate me now, so I'll just go before I make things wo-" She stepped forward and grabbed my arm, yanking me into the practice room with her. I could only assume she was angry when she slammed the door and turned to forcefully shove me back against the wall.
"Yooh-" I tried to apologize again, but suddenly her lips were pressing roughly into mine, catching me completely off guard. There was no time to react when she reached up to hold onto my neck tightly, whether for support or to stop me from pushing her off, I wasn't sure. All air left my lungs at the sensation and the desperation in her kisses convinced me it was the latter. She wanted this. Badly. And she wasn't going to let me be the one to stop her. Not that I wanted to anyways, even with how utterly confused this was making me.
The way her lips relentlessly attacked me, capturing my bottom lip, only to release it, push further into me, tilt her head a little in the other direction, and trade it for my top lip—like she was starved for a taste of me and couldn't get as much as she wanted quick enough—made my brain foggy. The veil of lust overtaking my mind only got worse when I started running out of air and it seemed apparent that Yoohyeon wasn't planning on letting me go anytime soon. I had no idea my earlier actions had managed to stoke the long-burning flame she had inside of her for me and now it engulfed her into a fire too hot to be put out.
As much as I would've gladly continued providing fuel—because the feeling of its irresistible flames now catching fire inside my own chest and spreading throughout my body was torturously addicting—my lungs burned painfully, begging for the oxygen she had stolen from them, and my tongue stung with the bitter taste of alcohol coming from her own lips. These bold actions struck me as uncharacteristic for the usually polite and occasionally shy woman and I started to realize she was likely acting under the influence, her intuition clouded by intoxication. This thought gave me the final ounce of willpower I needed to raise my own hands to her cheeks and push my thumbs against her chin to separate our lips.
"What are you doing?" I asked with a huff as my lungs made a violent effort to refill themselves, hindered by the strain my beating heart had on the amount of air they allowed in.
My eyes were blown wide while hers slowly fluttered open, hooded with lust once they met mine. Our lips were still just centimeters apart and somehow looking at her now had me more panicked than when she was practically on top of me, making out with me. Seeing her features up close and knowing that it really was her who initiated this (and I wasn't in some sort of lucid dream) was almost too much to handle.
"I've wanted to do that for so long," Yoohyeon whispered, biting her bottom lip as if to savor the taste I left on it and leaning impossibly further into me so that our noses were touching as she stared into my eyes. It was definitely too much to handle.
Even with just one sentence, I started doubting everything. She's wanted to do this for a long time. Meaning she's thought about it multiple times in the past, but never acted on it. Meaning she might actually like me more than a friend. Except the faint smell of alcohol on her breath still itched at the back of my mind, unwilling to be ignored. People do plenty of things they'd never do sober once intoxicated. It clouds your judgement, blurring the line between what's right and wrong. So, what if it was just the alcohol talking? What if she didn't really mean it? If anything, she was probably just drunk and horny and I happened to be in the right place at the right time, making her feel feelings that weren't actually there before she started drinking.
Yoohyeon seemed to grow impatient as I stood there, frozen in my internal battle, unsure of how to proceed. She didn't need my go-ahead anyways, she was going to decide for the both of us. And that decision manifested itself in her fingers trailing up the length of my neck, weaving themselves into my hair at the base of my skull, and her tongue taking advantage of my parted lips from the gasp her actions had elicited, swiping across my own without warning.
Feeling helpless and mildly pitiful from how much of a mess she had managed to make me within the span of a few seconds, all I could do was blindly reach down to clutch her slim waist for support. Though she seemed to take it to mean something completely different when she hummed and pressed herself against my right thigh. With her legs on either side of mine, I nearly lost balance, forcing me to pull her waist further into me. My thigh consequently put pressure against the spot between her legs, causing her to let out a high-pitched noise into my mouth.
Oh my god.
Was she really this turned on? Had I made her this turned on? No, I couldn't handle the thought. It was too much. Even if everything she said was true and she felt all these things for me, it was wrong to let her go on in this state.
"Wait," I mumbled when she pulled back for a second, but she ignored me, kissing my bottom lip with such force that she might as well have been biting it. At that thought, images of the lime clenched between her teeth from before flashed through my mind and I caught myself wondering what my lip might've felt like there instead.
Her steady rhythm of swiping her tongue into my mouth and finishing by closing her mouth and capturing my lips before pulling away to do the same again was slowly driving me crazy and had my brain picturing scenarios between us much worse than her simply biting my lip. With the way her hands started dragging down over my collarbones on a clear mission to get a feel for what was hiding under my clothes, I knew she was likely imagining the same. I needed to stop her before this got too far out of control.
I took advantage of the fact that her fingers were no longer holding onto anything to use my own to push her shoulders back. Luckily she didn't immediately crash back into me this time since she had finally run out of air completely. We both inhaled and exhaled heavily and her nose found it's way to bump against mine like she still couldn't stand not touching me. I allowed her a second to open her eyes and when I saw them dart back to my mouth, I rushed to put my thumb over her lips. Her gaze flitted back up to my own and, despite my attempt to calm her down, she seemed to like it a little too much.
I moved my thumb down so it was resting on her chin instead and whispered, "we shouldn't be doing this."
Yoohyeon grabbed my hand that was holding her face, wrapping her thumb around my own. "Why not?" She whispered back, raising her eyebrow and sending me a look that I knew was dangerous.
"You're drunk," I answered, my voice a little louder this time. It became clear to me that nearly everything I had been doing and saying she took as me trying to turn her on. But this wasn't some game I was playing. Not anymore.
"I'm not drunk," she stood up straight and, as if on cue, wobbled backwards as she lost her balance. I was able to pull her in by her waist before she could topple over. "Okay, maybe a little," she giggled, making herself comfortable again with her arms wrapping securely around my neck.
I glared back at her as a warning, but the smile brought on by her laughter remained on her face, showing off her dimples. My attempts to make logical decisions continued to dwindle and fail. The more I tried to think everything through, the realer it became. And the realer it became, the more I realized that this might be the only time I'd ever get what I truly wanted. Her. That thought alone was enough to make me give up any attempts of stopping her. Of course, it didn't help that she was also playing the part incredibly well.
In that moment of internal debate, while I was busy convincing myself to stop her, she was busy getting lost in my eyes. "I like you," she admitted so quietly that I almost didn't hear it, making my heart stop all together.
Damn you, Kim Yoohyeon, for being so convincing. For these feelings spilling out of me like a hopeless romantic who can't help but hang onto your every word, even in your drunken state. For stealing my heart and holding it right out in front of me, reminding me who’s really in control of it. And for doing it all so easily, acting like you're totally oblivious to the hold you have on me.
But, then again, maybe you were, and that was the problem.
"You don't really mean that," I stated, practically begging that she'd just agree and drop it right there so I could stop holding onto hope. I was so tired of questioning every single thing she did and said. Couldn't she just bury it for good?
But, no. "I do," she insisted. Like her kisses before, she seemed desperate to prove it to me. It had me wondering for a moment if she was as dependent on me to validate her feelings as I was on her. But I quickly shook the ridiculous thought away.
"No," I sighed, "Yoohyeon-"
"What's that saying?..." she trailed off, ignoring me again, "drunken thoughts are sober words." Her eyebrows furrowed, "wait no. Sober thoughts-"
"The fact that you can't even form a coherent sentence right now is really not helping your case." I tried to sound serious, but I couldn't stop the hint of a smile gracing my lips. One more thing to add to that list: damn you for being such a cute drunk.
The brunette pouted, and her brown eyes shined in the hallway light peeking through the door, making her resemble a puppy dog. Case in point.
"I want to believe you," I told her, no need whatsoever to fake the honesty in my voice, "but you're obviously not in your right mind." I couldn't be sure she was really listening intently like she appeared to be, but I was just glad she had given up on her attempt to quiet me with more kisses (well, not entirely glad, but, you know). "I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of you."
When I was finished, Yoohyeon whined and buried her nose in my neck. "I hate that you're such a good person sometimes." I squeezed her sides, pulling her closer so that her chest was flush against mine. I could feel her heartbeat, just as unstable as mine from earlier.
It was still proving incredibly difficult not to let go of reason completely and allow her to continue doing whatever she wanted to me when she was being like this. So many times in the past we had only joked about anything to do with relationships, always tiptoeing around the dangerous waters of our feelings for each other, but, this was the first rare moment where she was finally bold enough to dive headfirst into them. And, with her next words, she pulled off her last final trick to drag me down under the surface with her.
"Cause all I can think about is you on top of me on that table and the way your tongue felt against my skin," she whispered in my ear as her lips teasingly brushed across the sensitive skin just beneath my jawline.
Oh my god, I thought, except this time it left my mouth and had Yoohyeon giggling before her lips began claiming their territory on my neck. Though, it was less a cute giggle and more an evil one, like she enjoyed saying such explicit things because of the reactions she could get out of me. So much for being a cute drunk.
The sensation of her plump, velvety lips sucking down on my skin was slowly overriding all the thoughts in my mind. "I really need to take you home," I said, more to remind myself than to tell her. She hummed and I felt her smile against my neck. "Not like that," I tried to explain, but it was obvious she wasn't really listening. "Hey," pulling her away from me, I tilted her chin up so that we stood face to face once again. She gulped, looking up at me like she was completely innocent. "You're probably not even gonna remember this," I said under my breath and shook my head.
Still, I took a deep breath and looked back at her. "I like you, too, okay? And, God," I leaned into her, resisting the urge to feel her intoxicating lips against mine just one last time, "I want this more than you could possibly know." The obvious desperation in my tone made Yoohyeon smile proudly. "But I don't want this to just be a drunken mistake that you regret in the morning." Her lips turned down into a frown at that.
Really, knowing her regretting this was a distinct possibility hurt. A lot. And now I was thinking maybe it would be better off if she did forget this whole thing ever happened. "So you're gonna let me take you home, and if you still feel the same way in the morning, then maybe we can talk." For once, I could finally tell the sentimental look in her eyes was genuine and not another one of her deceiving tricks. "Deal?"
Yoohyeon pressed her lips together. "Deal.”

I hope you don’t mind me asking but what are your plan for next fic??
sanatittyfuck
Tumblr media
I'm kind of at an impasse with regards to my next work - I have many, many ideas (some in various stages of drafting) but I can't seem to commit to writing one of them lol. This is weird for me, because I usually have at most only two or three ideas/drafts on the go.
So in the interest of perhaps motivating me to write, here are the options - I'd be interested to hear what people would like to see next:
a sequel/redux /retelling of Green Silk
a fluffy Nayeon oneshot
a BT interlude Momo fic
the next Toy chapter (girl undecided, but likely Mina) - tbh tho this probably has the least priority as I feel like I just wrote the Dahyun chapter and Mina is going to figure heavily in Karaoke
a semi-fluffy fic that's meant to start off a new series (DC's Yoohyeon is in it but isn't the main girl, yet)
a fic in the universe of a certain currently-running sci-fi show (guesses? girl undecided, just looking for the right inspiration pic)
a Black Silk Ryujin fic
the next If a Bird Doesn't Sing chapter with Gong Seungyeon (or maybe Jeongyeon???)
This isn't a poll or anything; I'm just interested to hear what people are looking forward to the most and then I'll go from there.

Dreamcatcher Reaction: Their S/O Picks Up One Of Their Habits
Tumblr media
Pairing: Dreamcatcher x GN!8thMember!Reader
Requested By: Anon
A/N: Hope you guys enjoy this fluff! :) Stay safe and healthy <3
◂ ❚ ⊱ꕥ⊰ ❚ ▸◂ ❚ ⊱ꕥ⊰ ❚ ▸◂ ❚ ⊱ꕥ⊰ ❚ ▸◂ ❚ ⊱ꕥ⊰ ❚
Jiu
Habit: Admiring people when they talk
Tumblr media
She loves to watch you do this to the other members
The way you look at them is just so full of endearment and love that it makes her heart burst
But when it's her turn to be admired by you, she always gets a bit shy
Cue blushy Jiu
She loves it, though, and you both know it
And to be fair, she partakes in her habit alllll the time. She's almost always admiring you and the girls in some way, and she never hides her adoration. So it's only right that she gets a taste of her own medicine
You tend to be a sentimental drunk, so anytime you drink together she catches you doing it a lot. You’ll be close to her and just silently regarding her with a sweet smile as she says something to the girls; when she eventually notices, she’ll hide behind her hands and shy away.
You also tend to do it during livestreams and interviews, which drives her crazy and embarrasses the hell out of her.
In fact, the very first time she found out that you had picked up her habit was thanks to the host of a variety show you were appearing on for one of your comebacks.
(>.<)
Jiu’s eyes were bright and shining in the special way that they do as she answered the host’s latest question. She smiled widely as she gushed about how hard everyone had worked to prepare for the comeback and how lucky she felt to be surrounded by such talented and kind people.
Meanwhile you were sitting a few seats away from her and leaning forward in your chair a bit to get a clear view of her. The grin on your face mirrored hers as you looked on, totally enamored and falling more and more in love as she went on. You just couldn’t help yourself; she looked so pretty and radiant like that. So genuinely happy and pure.
Unbeknownst to you, the cameraman picked up on your lovesickness and zoomed in to capture the moment as it unfolded (when you watched the episode later on, you learned that the editing team had had a field day with that clip. They plastered a plethora of heart emojis on your face to really drive it all home).
The host noticed, too, after a moment, and he jokingly teased you for it. Jiu’s cheeks took on a pink tint almost immediately, and she squealed when she looked over and locked eyes with you. She hid behind Yoohyeon until you stopped, fearing that her reaction would give away her very obvious feelings for you and provide your shippers with a little too much evidence for the next video that they would inevitably make.
Once you relented and the interviewer moved onto the next question, she took a deep breath.
A few minutes passed, and your moment with Jiu had begun to fade to the back of your mind. Dami was the next to answer the host’s question; as she began sharing her response, you heard a quiet psst from nearby. Upon searching, you found it to be your girlfriend, leaning behind the girls to get your sole attention.
She grinned at you, still blushing, and held her two fingers up to you in the shape of a heart.
“Saranghae,” she mouthed, just to you. The moment was precious and intimate as you hid away from the cameras, in your own little bubble.
You blew her a kiss, which she caught and pressed to her chest before leaning forward again, like nothing had happened.
<><><><><><><><><><>
Sua
Habit: Being clingy and affectionate
Tumblr media
As we know, Sua is the human embodiment of affection. She can't go more than a few minutes without kissing you or being close to you in some way, whether that's a simple hand on your thigh or her head on your shoulder.
Her touch always has a way of calming you down and providing comfort. She always knows just what to do to make you feel better – especially when you’re stressed and just really in need of some attention.
She holds you and looks at you like you’re her entire world.
Ever since she expressed how much she loves your affection and touch as well, you’ve given her more and more of it. It brings out Soft Bora, after all, and there’s nothing as precious as that
Her pretty smile is always so cute to see
And, considering you're around her 24/7, it truly was only a matter of time before her habits rubbed off on you.
(>.<)
It was a cold, rainy day in Korea when you and the girls decided to gather in the living room of the dorm and watch a movie together.
Apart from Sua, all of you were lazing about on the couches as it played on the television.
Your girlfriend had slipped away to whip up some food for all of you once she caught wind of your shared plans; she always loved to provide for you in that way and show how much she cared. You often joked that food was her second love language, trailing right after physical touch.
The movie held your interest for the first few minutes that it was on, but eventually you began to find the paint on the walls more noteworthy than what was on screen. You knew it was simply because you missed Sua, though, so you excused yourself and headed to the kitchen.
She greeted you with a smile as you entered, and you found her standing in front of the oven, stirring a pan that contained one of her latest tasty creations. You grinned lazily, feeling some tension leave your body at the mere sight of her; she was dressed in one of your hoodies, and clearly comfortable.
You padded over and wrapped your arms around her, holding her close in a long back hug.
Even when she had to grab some seasonings from a nearby cabinet, you didn’t let go of her; your refusal to do so made her feel more loved than you even realized at the time. It’s not often that people match her level of clinginess, so the fact that you were the one who did made it ten times better to her.
When she returned to her original spot and you tightened your arms around her waist, she let her free hand skim down to yours, which she held lovingly. Her fingers intertwined with yours, and she felt your cheek press to her back as your body aligned with her own. Holding you and having that special moment with you really comforted her and made her happy.
The cherry on top came when you lightly bit her shoulder, like she always does to you. It drew soft laughter from her, and she turned around enough to press a kiss to your lips.
<><><><><><><><><><>
Siyeon
Habit: Zoning out / pinching people
Tumblr media
Some InSomnias began making edits and compilations of you zoning out when they noticed that you had taken up Siyeon’s habit. They were some of the first to spot it.
You definitely watch those videos together.
The girls tease both of you for it. They say you’re so in love that your brains are linked (and you share the same brain cells)
Or lack thereof
Siyeon thinks you look adorable when you just stop what you’re doing and pause for a moment, letting the wheels of your mind turn. Other times you go full “no thoughts, head empty” and she can relate.
It makes her laugh honestly. Both of you end up laughing together anytime you catch each other doing it.
But that isn’t the only habit of hers that you picked up…
(>.<)
Moonlight snuck its way into the dorm through the gap in the curtains that Yoohyeon had forgotten to fully close earlier. Its gentle glow lit up the kitchen, where you stood next to a busy Siyeon. The microwave’s clock read 3:19 AM.
A pot of noodles bubbled on the stove in front of you, thanks to her. When you had been lounging around with her in your shared room a few minutes ago and she heard your stomach growl, she decided to come in here and fix a late night snack for the both of you.
As she stirred the contents together and watched steam billow upwards with a proud smile, she felt a subtle pinch on the back of her arm.
She glanced back at you, only to find that you were zoned out again as your fingers mindlessly toyed with her soft skin. The feeling warmed her heart; it was gentle, and even while your mind floated around in outer space, you still stayed grounded with her in that little way.
It elicited a soft chuckle from her, which snapped you back to reality. When you laughed at yourself and lowered your hand, though, your gaze dropped to the floor. It was obvious that you were embarrassed.
She simply leaned over and raised your head, planting a soft kiss against your lips. Her eyes were full of love as she peered back at you, admiring you.
“You’re precious, jagi. Don’t be shy.”
Her words only made you blush harder and hide your face in her shoulder, seeking a reprieve from your embarrassment.
<><><><><><><><><><>
Handong
Habit: Making faces // judging the members
Tumblr media
You have a lot of things in common with Dongie. Getting homesick easily, being introverted at times, having witty comebacks, etc.
But probably the biggest trait you share is your playful judginess
The more time you spend with her, the more savage you become. (All in good fun, though. She simply encourages your teasing)
You usually end up locking eyes across the room while cringing at something one of the members are doing
She absolutely loves the fact that the two of you are so in tune with one another
It leads to a lot of laughter
The girls usually complain that you gang up on them to bully them
Partners in crime
Plenty of content for Somnies to make videos of, too.
(>.<)
During the making of Love Stealer, you were gathered in a dressing room with Yoohyeon, Sua, and Handong while you waited for your individual photoshoots to begin. You were scrolling on your phone as your makeup artist applied a few touch-ups, and Sua and Yooh were talking to the camera for some behind the scenes content.
The second oldest had stolen some candy from one of the staff members earlier, and Yoohyeon was asking for it. The price she had to pay? Her pride, evidently, as Sua ordered that she do aegyo to prove how badly she wanted it.
She clearly thought that that would deter the younger girl and allow her to keep the candy for herself, but she was wrong. Yoohyeon launched into an incredibly embarrassing display of over-the-top cuteness, complete with a baby-voice and sad little pout as she regarded her unnie.
The noise made you look up and over at the pair, unable to fight the grimace showing on your face. The cameraman picked up on your reaction and panned to you, allowing you to look at the audience like you were in an episode of The Office.
Instinctually, you glanced over at Handong and found that she was sporting the same expression. The camera followed your line of sight, capturing her recoiling in her seat with an even bigger grimace than you.
Laughter burst from her when you locked eyes, and Yoohyeon shouted at both of you. She cupped the camera lens and redirected it to her face, pouting as she asked, “Somnies, can’t you see how mean they are?”
Both of you stood up and joined the other two in front of the cameraman; your arms wound around Yoohyeon’s waist, and Handong poked her cheek repeatedly as a way of apologizing.
“Can you blame us?” Dongie earnestly asked after a beat passed, earning herself a smack to the shoulder.

Yoohyeon
Habit: Staying up late to play video games
Tumblr media
During one of her birthday gaming livestreams, she invited you to join her
Ever since then, you’ve been hooked. You’re totally her gaming partner
The Player 2 to her Player 1, if you will. You have matching set ups
It’s super relaxing for you guys
It made her so happy when you started playing more and more and becoming interested in her favorite games
Both of you are already night owls by nature and stay up later than most of the other members, but when you game it’s a whole nother story.
She loves to enter into that hazy, loopy, 4 AM state of existence with you when you’re both fully aware that you should be asleep but you’re having too much fun to stop
Snacking with her in between rounds and sneaking some victory kisses here and there
Losing your mind over how cute she looks with her headset on, and her squealing over your adorable sleepy smile
The two of you cuddle up together once you finally decide to tumble into bed
(>.<)
A yawn slipped past Yoohyeon’s lips as she rolled over in bed and blindly reached for her phone in the dark. Her fingers eventually made contact with the cold screen, and she picked it up. Light cast on her face and she winced, cursing under her breath until her eyes began to adjust.
2:37 AM, it displayed, as she swiped up and input her code. She had been having trouble sleeping for the past hour and a half; she just couldn’t unwind no matter how hard she tried, and she was growing bored of attempting to.
She opened one of her homepage’s folders and clicked the mobile game that she had been into recently. It was her tried-and-true solution for restlessness.
A list of players available for invite popped up beside her character, and she mindlessly scrolled for a bit as the game loaded up. When she spotted your gamertag, her eyes widened immediately and she sat up a little in bed. A green dot pulsed from the bottom of your profile picture, confirming that you really were active.
She clicked on your name and invited you, only to grin when you accepted it within a matter of seconds.
“Yes!” You whisper-screamed, shaking your fist in the air triumphantly. Your screen displayed a winning title and showed the prizes you had earned. As you clicked through them, you heard a knock at the door.
A little confused, you stood up and turned your bedside lamp on before meandering over to it. When you cracked it open, you found a cozy looking Yoohyeon smiling at you from the other side. You opened up and let her slip past you without a second thought, but before you had time to fully shut the door behind her, she was pushing you up against it and stealing a quick kiss from your lips.
You blushed and allowed her to do as she pleased, kissing back.
“Did you think I wouldn’t get my victory kiss just because it’s late?” She asked against your lips, smiling gently.
“I-I…” You stammered, incapable of forming coherent thoughts due to your sleep deprivation and her ministrations. It truly was a deadly combo.
She just giggled in response, fully aware of the effect she had on you. “Let’s play another round or two,” she commanded, taking a few steps back as she pulled on your hand to encourage you to follow her.
You merely nodded and climbed into the bed after her, settling down at her side. She cozied up against you, and the two of you quickly joined a lobby together and readied your characters up for the next round.
Her eyes scanned across the matching outfits that your avatars wore, and she briefly glanced down at you afterward. Warmth radiated from your body, comforting her in ways nothing else could; you fit against her perfectly. Your chest rose and fell softly, and your blinking was showing signs of becoming heavier and heavier. Such a precious sight to her.
She was so busy admiring you that she nearly missed the start of the match; the only thing that drew her from her dorky stupor was the soft poke you applied to her side. She simply smiled and snuggled a little closer, reveling in the moment you were sharing.

Dami
Habit: Reading often (does this count as a habit?)
Tumblr media
Ever since she started recommending books and poetry to you, you started adding them to a list
One day, she finds it
Aaaand she also finds you sitting by the window in the dorm, reading from the first book on the list. It warms her heart to see you all cuddled up and invested in the words on the page, completely tuned out to what’s happening around you
She also loves the fact that you actually take her recommendations to heart. Other people just brush them off, but you never do
She takes you on dates to local cafes and bookstores, and the two of you cozy up next to the hearths there and read together. Sometimes she’ll pull your legs up across her lap so you can be close together in real life while your minds wander around in the worlds you’re reading of
She always keeps an eye out for new releases that you might like, and she’s super good at it because she knows you so well
Uses the titles of the books on your shelf to spell out little messages for you. Usually “I love you” or one of the million pet names she calls you
Matching bookmarks
You in glasses? Definitely does something to her (and vice versa)
(>.<)
“Are you almost here, my love?” You asked into the phone, securing it between your cheek and shoulder as you rifled through the bag in your hands.
“Almost. Shouldn’t be too much longer,” she sighed, sounding a little tired. You could hear one of the managers say something to her in the background.
“I love you. See you soon.”
Dami was visibly exhausted as she shuffled into the dorm and sat her bag down in the entryway. You weren’t waiting at the door to greet her like she was expecting, and a frown worked its way onto her face because of that. The dorm in general was far quieter than usual, and it confused her. But she didn’t have the energy to question it, and so with a soft tut she padded into the living room.
When she opened the door, she was not prepared in the slightest for what awaited her.
“Surprise!” You shouted, followed by a chorus of cheers from the girls. Sua and Yoohyeon released party poppers into the air, and their resulting confetti showers landed on Dami.
She was clearly confused and taken aback.
“Look at what I got for you,” you said, gaining her attention as you held out a box to her. She raised a brow at you, but your subsequent nudging convinced her to take it and open it up.
The cover of a brand-new book gleamed at her, and as she read the title she realized it was the latest release of one of her favorite authors. She had wanted to buy it herself and even attend the signing event that the author had announced, but her schedules had gotten in the way.
Her eyes raised to yours, full of pleasant shock and disbelief. So much pure love was conveyed through her simple gaze that it made your heart ache a little.
“Open it,” you smiled proudly.
She did, and her hand immediately shot up to her mouth. The author’s bold signature adorned the inside of the cover, and a sweet message was etched above it, personally addressed to her.
“Y/N…” she whispered. When she looked at you again, she noticed the rest of the girls grinning at her from all around you. They were happily watching your moment unfold.
“I went to the signing today,” you explained with a wide smile, unable to help yourself after seeing her reaction. It was everything you'd hoped for. “...couldn’t miss out.”
Dami sat the book back down in the box and put it on the coffee table before approaching you. Her arms wrapped around you and pulled you in for a tight hug. “Thank you, jagi. I love it,” she said lowly, her voice altered slightly with how her cheek was pressed against your shoulder.
“I love you,” she added, as she pulled back enough to look at you. You shied away, slightly taken aback by the way she was looking at you, but she didn’t accept that for long. Her hand cupped your cheek as she turned your face towards hers again and leaned in to kiss you.
The girls all squealed and cheered; some teasingly groaned, too, but they were all happy to see you so happy. It was a perfect memory for all of you.

Gahyeon
Habit: Pouting

She’s truly the queen of whining and pouting
You’re the only one capable of rivaling her abilities
When both of you want the same thing, sometimes you find yourselves having a sort of pout-off to see who can guilt trip the rest of the girls (or each other) more
With her protected status as maknae, that can definitely be a challenging task
But you give her a run for her money a lot of the time
She complains about the fact that you pout as well as you do, but secretly she loves how you look when you do. The way your lips purse and your eyes turn puppy-like never fails to make her grin
She almost always gives in and gives you whatever you want
She squishes your cheeks and kisses your frown away
You started mimicking her habit more and more when you saw the effect it had on her. Plus it was another method to use to tease her
She noticed it gradually, when you did it more often
She secretly really really loves it. You’re so adorable to her
(>.<)
The two of you were at a diner one evening, casually munching on your food beneath the fluorescent lights of the establishment. A few remaining streaks of daylight stretched across the sky, but the Sun had already set a few minutes prior.
Soft clanking sounds filled the dining area, and the many different conversations that were taking place amongst the patrons around you all melded together to create a lively hum.
Through the windows beside your booth you could see the cars that drove by outside, passing by in zips and whizzes of tail lights and tires.
As you took another bite of the dish you had ordered, you glanced longingly at the fresh batch of fries that gleamed on Gahyeon’s plate. Steam still emitted from them, and the salt that adorned their crisp surfaces seemed to sparkle.
She saw you in her peripheral, and she smiled before she even fully looked up at you. Around a mouthful of her sandwich, she asked, “Do you want some, baby?”
You swallowed and nodded, waiting for her to raise her head. When she finally did, she was smirking. “Too bad.”
“Yah! Gahyeon!” You whined, stomping your foot beneath the table.
She snickered when you scowled, knitting your brows together and looking adorably upset. You crossed your arms and looked away with a huff. How rude of her…
“Here, Y/N/N,” she giggled, sliding the plate a little closer to you. “You’ve convinced me.”
Your face lit up immediately and you grabbed a couple, eager to taste them. As you took a bite, you realized that they were even better than you had imagined they’d be.
You plucked another from the batch and held it up to her, and she opened her mouth for you to feed it to her. She hummed at the flavor as well.
“You know, I got them for you anyway,” she added after a minute, admiring you with a soft smile as she watched you enjoy them. She loved to see you eat well.
“Yeah?”
She nodded. “I knew you’d be stealing mine if I didn’t order enough for you, too…”
“Hey!” You shouted in retaliation at her remark, and tossed a fry at her.
It hit her right in the forehead, and she pretended to cry upon impact. She whined like you had before and rubbed the area, acting as though it had really hurt her.
You kissed your fingertips before pressing them to the spot, and she stopped immediately, as if nothing had happened. The childish scowl on her face disappeared, and her lips stopped their famous pouting within a second.
The two of you laughed together, completely oblivious to the waiter that stood behind the counter, eyeing you oddly.
Even if you had noticed him, you wouldn’t have cared. You were odd together, and that’s all that mattered.

————————————————————————
Tonight you went out alone at this bar downtown. Your friend was too scared to go out. Apparently there were bad people as well as creatures spotted recently around town. You knew of the existence of vampires and how extremist the hunters could be to find one of them. You couldn't care less right now though. It was Saturday night. You just lost your job and even with the warnings from the local news you saw nothing to lose.
You entered the bar and sat down for a drink. You took two or three drinks before you saw some hunters entering the bar. Typical. They have nothing better to do than to annoy the mortals with their stories.
‘’Where is she? I saw her enter earlier!’’ He shouted
‘’Sir i don't know who you are referring too’’ The bartender exclaimed
You followed their conversation nonetheless, you were bored out of your mind after all. The conversation between the owner and the hunter kept growing with anger.
You got up and walked towards the bar. You asked for 2 shots before settling down close to the argument. Something about…the bar wasn’t supposed to be open?
‘’Cant these people just leave’’ you muttered under you breath.
As you took another shot your head started pounding. You felt a need for air. This place was full and warm. You felt suffocated by the scent of all the alcohol mixing and The hunter was basically screaming in your ears at this point. You stood up carefully.
You let go of the counter and made your way outside. You sat on a bus bench nearby. You felt the cold wood against your back and breathed out in relief. You looked at the sky. The city was far too bright for you to see the stars but you noticed the moon almost full.
Your not sure how long you sat there or if you fell asleep, simply in a daze while staring at the moon.
You turned your head when you heard the cries of a woman. You instinctively stood up. You saw two of the hunters exiting the bar with a woman being forcefully pulled by the arm.
You started walking toward the scene.
‘’Hey let her go!’’ You slurred out.
You saw the woman's arm slip out of their grasp and back away from them when she was pulled back by her long black hair. She let out a cry again and you decided to act. You couldn't bear hearing someones desperate cries, why were these hunters after her? You walked towards the hunter before he told you to back up angrily and fought you off.
The woman was thrown against the wall before the second man pulled up his gun at her. You managed to get out of the older man’s grip and threw yourself at the second one who was seconds away from shooting the woman.
He was way stronger than you thought. You struggled while grasping at his gun. A shot was heard. You tried fighting harder, to stop him from shooting someone. But then the gun was accidentally pointed at you in the midst of it all and the trigger was pulled.
An excruciating pain was felt in your lower stomach. It felt like unstoppable electric shocks being administered throughout your whole body. You looked down and placed your hand over what you assumed to be a gaping hole. You saw a large wooden like bullet penetrating your skin. You saw the blood running down your pants and you started feeling dizzy.
You looked up trying to keep your eyes from closing. You saw the hunter's shocked expression but the woman was nowhere to be seen.
You heard them curse before escaping in their vehicles.
‘’Wait- please…’’ you barely manage to mumble as you felt yourself weaken.
Your legs gave up from under you and you felt the cold sidewalk.
Your vision was getting blurrier. Your breathing is unstable. Tears started running down your face.
What this the end for you?
You felt yourself getting colder. You looked up at the sky once last time but what you didn't expect was to see the same woman from earlier, now standing above you, eyes red under the moonlight.
You gasped, the creature was probably here to finish you. ‘’No please… dont hurt me’’ you begged now, almost crawling under the figure.
You felt yourself lose consciousness and all turned dark.
The raven haired woman gasped. She kneeled and caught your head before it could hit the ciment. She raised the blood covered shirt and cursed under her breath before carrying your seemingly lifeless body in her arms.
__________
You woke up in what seemed to be a vintage vehicle. You immediately touched your stomach to feel the wound. Bandages? They sure didn't fix the pain though. You groaned and tried to move.
‘’Hey stop moving!’’ The driver turned to the side to look at you.
‘’Oh good, not only did I get shot, now i'm gonna be a blood bag for some vampire?’’ You groaned out while trying to unbuckle your seatbelt.
She noticed your hand and quickly grabbed onto it to stop you. You felt her cold skin on yours. She had a strong grip but wasn’t as harsh as you'd think. She looked at you again.
‘’I'm trying to save you’’ she said as you began panicking
‘’Save me? For what, oh god am i being trafficked?’’ You asked
Your sentence made her laugh
‘’Well at least you still have some life into you. I'm saving you because you saved me… y/n?’’
You turned your head confused at the mention of your name
‘’How do you know my name?’’ You tried backing up in your seat
‘’Its written on your uniform’’ she giggled
‘’Oh-‘’ before you could finish any sentence you felt a burning pain coming back to your insides. You grabbed at it, groaning uncontrollably.
‘’Shit’’ she cursed ‘’we need to get there faster than i thought’’ was all you heard before your eyes closed once again.
—————
Your eyes open when you were being carried by the same woman. In front of you was a vintage looking mansion mostly covered by weeping trees. You twisted and turned in her embrace because of the unbearing pain. She shushed you, trying to comfort you from the torture you were enduring.
Once inside your eyes opened again to see multiple women standing around you
‘’Fuck, okay listen if your gonna kill me just do it now it hurts like hell’’ you said before flinching when you heard the one with dark pink hair speak up.
you couldn't make out anything of what she was saying. You turned to your right and saw the woman who had rescued you. You grabbed onto her arm with any of the strength you had left
‘’what…is…happening’’ you looked up at her
She was about to reply to you when another woman with long black hair, this time with a fringe, spoke up.
‘’So they got shot trying to save you from those hunters?’’ She raised an eyebrow at the woman by your side.
‘’Yes’’
‘’Minji you cant bring back every person you find, this isn't a animal, it's a full blown human’’ the black haired women explained angrily
‘’Siyeon leave it, we have to save them now’’ the pink hair breathed out. Siyeon bit her lip.
‘’So what's exactly do we have?’’ Sua continued.
Minji lifted up your shirt only for you to wince and try to stop her. She pinned your hand by your side and the other women kept pulling your shirt up
You desperately tried to stop them from causing you further pain but there was no way you could stop them and their in-human strength.
‘’Do you think we can do anything Sua?’’ Minji looked at her desperate for an answer
‘’What gun did the hunters have?’’ Sua questioned back while taking off the bandage off your wound. You groaned. You felt a rush of cold as she did so and started trembling.
The third woman, Siyeon, left quickly before returning immediately with a woolen blanket. Minji lifted you up as you whined and Siyeon placed the blanket around your trembling body.
Minji finally replied to Sua.
‘’Eh… it was the…the shotgun looking one, the one with poison!’’
Sua and Siyeon looked at each other.
Minji noticed, ‘’What?’’ She asked panicked
Siyeon approached the older woman and gently squeezed her shoulder before whispering
‘’There's nothing we can do, that poison could kill an army of mortals Minji’’
‘’No!’’ Minji shouted back feeling tears swell up in her eyes
Sua interrupted them ‘’The only way to save them would be to turn them…’’ she bit her lip, not sure what the oldest decision would be,
as for Siyeon, she looked at Sua deconcerted of her suggestion.
‘’I'll do it then’’ Minji replied before staring at Sua
‘’Wait wait’’ siyeon stopped her before she could reach you. ‘’Remember the rules Jiu’’ she explained
Minji nodded before kneeling next to you.
‘’I can save you y/n, only if you accept turning into one of us’’ she looked at your dying figure.
You heard her but couldn't open your eyes anymore, neither could you get a word out. You tried reaching for her arm. You didn't want to die.
She noticed and grabbed your hand and you squeezed it in hope it'd be enough to tell her the agreement of your fate. You just wanted the pain to stop.
She looked up at Sua and the woman nodded. It was then that you felt cold air being breathed onto your neck.
You felt her lips on your skin before Minji decided on acting before it was too late and let her fangs slide into your flesh.
You felt blood rush to your head. It felt like every veins into your body was imploding. You felt Jiu’s fangs deep into your flesh and started moving frantically and started crying out to make it stop.
Minji held your head down but you were too frantic. She gave a look towards Sua and the younger one held you down and covered your mouth before you fell unconscious once again.
Siyeon turned around frowning, tears in her eyes and left the room. She didn't like having to watch these moments. It reminded her of the people she had to turn to before. She felt an aching-like pain in her heart even though it had stopped beating for a long time now.
————————-
You woke up in an unknown room. It felt like an old library. You tried getting up but let yourself fall back down when you felt your head pound. You groaned as you tried to take in your surroundings.
What happened again? Oh your stomach. You lifted up you shirt quickly. You were shocked, no blood, no scars either. You looked around to try and find an exit.
Suddenly a figure looming over the window called out to you.
‘’You can't leave y/n’’ Siyeon said quietly
‘’Wait, who are you?’’ You looked at her face trying to replace where she was from. Wait, wasn’t she one of those vampires. You tried running out the door in vain, she was faster than your exhausted body. She stood up in front of you.
‘’Let me leave you freak’’ you tried battling her only for her to pin you against the wall.
‘’If im a freak then so are you dear’’ she growled
Her words sank into your head…
You looked down, starting to catch on what was happening to you. She let go of you and turned around to face away from your sorrows.
‘’Wait what! No this can't be’’ you frantically moved again and looked at your stomach again. You fell down to your knees crying ‘’why would you do this to me’’ you cried out to her
Siyeon felt tears starting to form and exited the hallways before calling out to someone. Two unknown faces entered the room and tried grabbing onto your arms. You fought back and trew one of them across the room. You gasped looking at your hands, how could you have become such a monster.
You cried as you watched the injured men on the other side of the room
‘’Im s-sorry’’ you looked at the man still standing. He was hesitant to approach but you gave your hands to him for him to tie them up. You gave up. You let yourself be dragged along the endless hallways of this place.
After what felt like eternity you were pushed into a room. You looked around and thought you were sent into another dimension. It was suddenly so bright and…pink.
You looked down at your hands and desperately tried getting the rope off. It had been burning your skin since earlier. You tried biting at it and mistakenly bite at your hand. You groaned in pain, expecting blood to flow once again. But nothing came out.
You jumped when a figure kneeled in front of you.
‘’Here ill help you’’ she undid the ties around your hands.
You looked at her trying to gage the girl and her intentions.
‘’They put garlic on these, that's why it left a mark there’’ she pointed at the red mark on your wrists.
You watched confused as she got up and went to a small vanity and pulled a small bottle out of it. Who was she? And why was she taking care of me now?
She kneeled again.
‘’My name is Gahyeon by the way’’ she smiled at you, successfully distracting you until she started rubbing the ointment on your wrists. You winced trying to pull away from her.
‘’Here its over already, sorry about that’’ she shyly smiled at you.
You looked at her as she got up. She walked to what you assume was her bed. She turned once again to you and laughed at you
‘’Are you okay?’’ She asked
‘’Who are you?’’ You replied still fearful of the strangers
‘’Im one of the vampires living here!’‘ she smiled. ‘’Siyeon told me to look after you until you calm down, it's my job when there is newly turned vampires’’ she sadly smiled at you
You breathe out. I guess it did make sense, her room was so bright and welcoming, just like her smile you thought.
She looked out the window.
‘’I heard about what happened earlier, you hurt the guard’’ she said almost reprimanding you
‘’I didnt want-‘’ she cut you off ‘’i know y/n’’
‘’I know how scary it is, I'm very sorry. you'll have to stay here until your stable again’’
‘’What is this, a daycare?’’ You asked not amused.
She laughed ‘’i guess you could call it that’’
You forced yourself back up and walked towards a chair near the window
‘’Oh y/n, you can come here, this bed is also for you’’ she looked at you.
You looked back confused, she read your mind and saw your uncertainty.
‘’It's not any sort of trap, you just need to rest’’ she explained before getting up to get you. She pulled at your hand to bring you towards the bed.
You tried laying down but stopped in your tracks when you suddenly felt your stomach hurt again. You winced.
‘’Oh carefull!’’ Gahyeon exclaimed, ‘’the poison hasn't completely left your body yet’’
You laid down yourself forcefully before she could help you. ‘’Oh right, the poison, lovely’’ you muttered
She giggled before drapping a blanket over you
‘’Ill leave you to rest for now y/n, tomorrow is gonna be a big day’’ she smiled sadly before walking out.
‘’Wait! Where Minji?’’ You asked, suddenly remembering the girl who saved you.
‘’Oh dont worry she's out right now, taking care of some things for tomorrow! Don't worry you can go to sleep.
‘’Okay’’ you mumbled back to her a bit confused
Tomorrow?
You tried closing your eyes but didn't feel tired. It was a strange feeling, you managed to fall into a sleep like state but you only felt yourself healing rather than gaining energy.
_________
You woke up feeling more tired than the day before. Weird. You looked around the room and saw the same girl from yesterday.
‘’Gahyeon?’’ You called out, she turned around surprised to see you already awake.
‘’Oh hi y/n! Good Morning'’ she smiled
She brings a pile of clothes to the bed ‘’here i have clean clothes for you’’
‘’Thanks…’’ you mumbled
You carefully got yourself up and looked at the pile. You tried taking off your shirt but that was easier said than done. You still felt so sore.
The girl saw you struggling and immediately pulled your shirt off for you.
You blushed at her sudden action. You tried thanking her but you couldn't get a word out your mouth. She was standing right there in front of you, after taking your shirt off…
She giggled at your expressions
‘’Here’’ she smiled shyly and gave you your shirt.
You stood there frozen.
She giggled again before speaking up ‘’well if you need any more help i'll be right next door y/n’’ and with that she was gone.
You breathed out before scratching your scalp
‘’Well…’’ might as well dress up and get out of here then.
You exited the room and found yourself in these endless halls once again. You walked for a few minutes before deciding to sit down. You were lost, no doubt of that. You looked around once again exasperated.
Well if you weren't going to find your way in this place then the window was the next option. you walked up to one of the windows on the wall. You mustered up your strength before grabbing at it and pushing it upward. Why weren't you able to lift this up, weren't you immortal now? You tried again only for you to hurt yourself. You backed away when you collided with another being. Pink hair girl.
While you were regaining balance she was sending you an amused grin. You huffed and went back to the window again.
She laughed ‘’Listen the door is over there if you really wanna leave, but if i were i would want to stay and learn how to survive’’
You stopped your movements and looked down. You didn’t like this one bit. They made you this monster and now they are keeping you enclosed like an animal in a cage.
You approached her before trying to grab her collar. She just watched you.
‘’What now?’’ She asked smirking
‘’Oh shut up’’ you said before trying to swing at her.
She grabbed your first and pushed you to the ground.
‘’Now if we're done playing, we have to go see Dami’’ She made a sign for you to follow her. You got up with a groan and followed against your will. You followed her to the end of a dark hallway. You looked at all the paintings around. I suppose they have a taste for something other than blood.
She opened a tall door and let you enter before her. You looked around to see walls of books and potions. One big window was engulfing an entire wall and had a view of a garden. There was a table in the center and multiple tables around.
Someone cleared their throat and you turned around in surprise.
A slander figure was presenting itself to you. Short hair, big eyes and a book in her hands. She closed what seemed to be a secret door behind her. You tried asking what that door was while pointing at it only for her to giggle at you.
You looked at Sua ‘’what is this place?’’ You asked with an attitude.
The girl with short hair spoke
‘’Its my laboratory…if i can call it that’’ she settle’s herself down on a desk you hadn't noticed before.
‘’So why are we here?’’ You asked nervously
Sua approached you and poke at your stomach ‘’Were here for a checkup’’ she smiled
‘’You can sit on this table’’ the other girl asked
‘’And why would I listen to you?’’ You asked a brow raised
‘’Right, where are my manners’’ she wiped her hands on her suit before continuing ‘’Dami, nice to meet you’’
You looked at her uncertain
‘’I'm the doctor here if we can call it that, i study herbology’’ dami added
‘’So… what, are you gonna stuff the hole in my stomach with flowers?’’ You snorted
Sua couldn't help but laugh at your joke.
‘’Its medicine making’’ Dami smiled at you
‘’Oh right sorry’’ you finally sat down on the table with the help of Sua
She pointed at your shirt and for you to lift it up.
You rolled your eyes before doing so.
She approached and touched the sensitive skin before poking at it.
‘’It seems the poison is almost all gone, maybe just some of my remedy could help you with that’’ She explained
She pointed out to Sua what to get and the girl was quick on her feet bringing her the flask.
Dami looked at it before offering it to you
‘’Here that should help’’
‘’What is it?’’ You asked
‘’Its something that should help you get out that poison quicker, but be warned you might feel…disoriented for a few minutes’’
‘’Whatever’’ you took it from her hand and drank it
They looked at you stunned
‘’What, i already lost everything, might as well drink this too’’ you told them
Sua looked away with regret. Dami stayed by your side though. She knew the effects of her medicine.
You started feeling dizzy, drunken like. Your vision became blurry and you grabbed onto her arm.
‘’What did i just drink’’ you blurted out
‘’Your fine’’ Dami promised
You felt your body tense up and lost control over it, thankfully Dami gripped your shoulder and let your head fall against her. Your eyes turned white.
‘’Does this always happen?’’ Sua asked looking at you
‘’Only with this type of poison, but there won't be any left after this’’ Dami answered
‘’Yea…looks like it's getting to their head’ sua added.
You started shaking a little more violently. You felt something burn in your throat before you were on the ground throwing up a white substance.
A few seconds later you were done and sat there shocked by what had just happened to you. Dami moved the hair away from you face and looked into your eyes to examine you.
‘They should be all good now’’ she smiled getting up
‘’If you call this all good…’’ you mumbled to yourself
‘’What?’’ She turned to you
Your eyes went wide ‘’i mean, thank you!’’
She giggled before letting Sua take you back.
Sua took your hand into hers and dragged you around the mansion until you finally arrived at what you assumed to be the main living room.
Are they rich? You thought to yourself.
You suddenly heard a soft giggle to your right.
Wait did they hear me?
‘’I can’’ Minji giggled once again while approaching you
You looked into her eyes. You felt thankful and angry at the same time. She saved you but…was it a good thing?
She gently rubbed your arm ‘’how are you feeling y/n?’’
‘’me?’’
She giggled and bringed you over to sit down on one of the sofas.
She grabbed your hand ‘’I know your not sure how to feel about me y/n… im sorry’’
You looked at down at your hands
‘’I'm really sorry, i wanted to save you and i'll take the responsibility to teach you your new way of life’’
You looked up at her confused ‘’what do you mean?’’
‘’You'll eventually need to drink-‘’ she was cut off by two girls entering the living room loudly.
‘’Wait what-‘’ You tried asking but Minji cut you off ‘’girls this is y/n, they..were turned yesterday. Y/n this is Yoohyeon and Handong’’ she smiled back at you
The taller girl presented herself with a clumsy bow while the one laughed.
‘’Nice to meet you y/n’’ Yoohyeon smiled
You looked over at the other girl. She seemed to only be watching the scene for now, she seemed amused.
‘’Hello’’ you called out to her softly
‘’Hi, im Handong’’ she simply smiled at you
‘’Hey why don't you show y/n their room’’ Minji said to Handong.
‘’Hey i want to help too!’’ Yoohyeon exclaimed, earning a laugh from the two girls.
‘’Listen we want y/n in one piece Yooh’’ handong teased making Minji laugh again.
‘’Not fair’’ the taller girl said before going toward the small library in the room.
‘’Follow me’’ Handong smiled at you. Hesitant, you looked back at Minji who nodded at you to reassure you that it was fine. You breathed in before following Handong.
After making your way to the other side of the mansion you entered a simply decorated room. You walked in and looked out the window. You could see the never ending garden from here too. You also saw Siyeon caring for some flowers. You must have been staring too intensely because she catches you looking. Your gasp before turning back to Handong. She looked at you with her brow raised. You brushed it off and looked around once again.
Handong watched you amused. You seemed to be just as clumsy as her taller friend.
‘’So this is…my room?’’
‘Exactly’’ she replied
You thought of what to say next when a shiny object caught your attention. You tried reaching for it but failed. You hit your head and groaned, almost getting mad at the small thing.
Handong laughed, catching your attention.
‘’I'll let you be for now, feel free to roam around’’
‘’Wait!’’ You exclaimed before she left
‘’How did you end up here…i mean how did you get turned’’ you gulped after realizing what you asked
She looked at you and you felt her gaze pierce through you
‘’I'm sorry i…was just curious’’ you added quickly
‘’If you must know, me and Gahyeon were on a carriage on our way to a spring festival back then, we were attacked by a pack of…werewolves’’
She walked closer to the window
‘’But, vampires were also of the chase and decided to turn us so it wouldn't look like their fault for two princesses dead body’’
She breathes out.
‘’Me and Gahyeon were left alone, starving without a clue. It's a few days later that Siyeon found us while we were trying to hunt. She took us here with the others then’’
You watched her features, hers calm while you were shocked at her story. Wow. Wait werewolves?
‘’I need to go now but it was nice meeting you y/n, if you ever need advice on how to deal…with this, you may speak to me’’ she grinned at you once again before leaving.
Princesses? While I'm just a loser who lost their job. You breathed out in defeat before sitting down.
You sat on your bed and looked at the painted ceiling. You stayed staring for a bit before an intense feeling of hunger crept onto you. Why did it hurt you? You got up and made your way to the living room again. You looked around but no one was to be seen.
———
The pain grew and you clutched your stomach. You closed your eyes and sat down. You started smelling something. A delicious smell was now filling your nostril, it was unlike anything you ever smelled before.
Hungry, you decided on following the scent.
You walked upstairs and stopped in your tracks when you saw one of the guards. You turned around and kept walking but the scent seemed to be getting further when you did so.
You turned around once again. You walked toward the guard who was sitting peacefully with a cup. You now stood behind him. You watched his skin and unconsciously licked your lips. You could hear his pulse and you felt something peeking past your lips.
You breathed out and catches his attention. He looked at you and noticed your eyes that were now red. He tried telling you to stop and to go get the girls downstairs but you couldn't hear anything anymore. You walked closer to him as he backed up.
You reached for him and grabbed onto his shirt. You looked him up and down and gulped before trying to bring him closer. He fought you back and called for help. You now had his neck exposed and watched as you heard the blood flow under his skin.
But a hand forcefully pulled you back. You looked at the source and saw yoohyeon now holding your wrist.
You looked at her confused, still in a daze.
You heard the guard leave and tried following.
‘’No! Your staying right here y/n’’ Yoohyeon scolded
You kept looking at the men leaving. She grabbed your face between her palms and made you look at her. She cursed under her breath when she saw your eyes. You stayed there looking at her, feeling confused and not like yourself.
You think you heard her calling for someone
‘’Minji Unnie! Come here, y/n is up here’’
You both waited as she held onto you. You saw Minji appear in your peripheral vision and turned towards her. She approached and looked at you from up close.
‘’Minji..im hungry…it hurts’’ you said in almost a whine
‘’Go get Dami’’ Minji commanded to Yoohyeon
Minji then grabbed your arms and made you follow her outside. She sat you down near a fountain and kneeled in front of you
‘’Look at me’’ she looked into your eyes worried
‘’Shit, it's time for you to drink’’
You gulped ‘’what? Drink? No please im not a monster’’ you said desperately. Minji was too preoccupied to feel offended. She remembered how hard it was for her to accept what she had become once turned.
Dami appeared next to the two of you with a red colored pouch in her hands.
You started shaking your head frantically. Minji grabbed the side of your face ‘’y/n listen to me, you have to drink now or you’ll become a dead brain creature who kills everything on its way’’
You started tearing up.
‘’Do you understand’’ she asked sadly
You nodded against your will.
Dami gave the pouch to Minji who then sat next to you. She handed it to you and you looked at it.
‘’You have to do it now y/n’’ she insisted
You closed your eyes and bit into the pouch. You dropped some of the red liquid onto yourself at first, being clumsy. You felt the thick liquid on your tongue and it was like nothing you ever tasted before. You felt euphoric and like you were gaining strength back.
The pouch was now empty and you gained back your bearings. You looked down at your hands and saw them covered with what you assumed to be blood. You felt something on your face and tried wiping it with your sleeve. Blood. You suddenly started getting anxious.
You look beside you to notice Dami and Minji.
‘’What did i…just do?’’
‘’You drinked’’ Dami replied
You felt yourself starting to panic. I drank something, there's blood on my hands. You looked over at Minji to see her holding an almost empty pouch or red liquid.
‘’Did i just drink blood?’’
‘’Your alright y/n’’ Minji tried patting your shoulder
You moved away
‘’No, was that really blood?’’ You asked frantically trying to recall the last few minutes.
‘’I cant-‘’ you fell to your knees suddenly feeling light headed. You looked at your bloody hands again and then up to minji.
‘’No…’’ you started tearing up. Did you just drink human blood? No, the idea of seeing blood itself made you dizzy. Your breathing picked up and you felt your head pound. Darkness then surrounded you.
———-
You woke up in your room. It was dark outside, leaving only the moon as the unique source of light. You looked towards the door. You noticed some paper on the bed side table.
You took it and read it. It was from Gahyeon. She was explaining what happened to you and that she felt sorry for you. She put you to bed with Minji and went to her own. She had left some cupcakes she made for you to eat if you wanted too. She knew that you were still new to all of this and so she thought making you cupcakes could maybe reconfort you.
You took one and ate it. You decided to write back to gahyeon. You took the paper and turned it around. You checked for a pen and found one with red ink.
You wrote back to her. You thanked her and asked her for help with all of this, everything was new and it scared you.
You then silently got out of your room, passing by two guards who were asleep. You walked towards Gahyeon’s room. Once in front of it you slid the letter under her door.
You walked back to your room but stopped in your tracks. The backdoor was slightly open. Who would be out at this time? Oh right, vampires.
You walked toward the door and peeked outside. It was leading to the garden. I suppose a bit of fresh air wouldn't hurt. Thanks to the now full moon you could see the flowers around you. There seemed to be a path within the flowers and so you followed curiously.
It led further into the garden. Well you didn't expect it to be this massive. You suddenly heard soft whimpers in the distance. You followed the noises walking carefully so as to not make any noise.
You arrived at the exit of the garden. There was a gate but it was open. You passed it and saw a girl with dark hair kneeling on the ground in front of something.
You accidentally stepped on a small branch and caught the attention of said girl. Siyeon.
She looked at you before turning back towards what she was previously looking at. You heard her sniffle before you watched her stand up.
‘’Why are you here y/n?’’ She asked, voice seemingly weaker than usual.
‘’Oh, im so sorry, ill go’’ you quickly replied
‘’No wait’’ she walked closer to you. You saw what she was kneeling in front of, a grave?
‘’You weren't suppose to see this place’’ she looked at you with a stern look.
‘’You can’t tell Bora about this place, understood?’’ She grabbed your hand.
‘’Bora?’’ Was there someone you didnt meet yet?
‘’Oh right…’’ she walked back toward the grave.
You looked at her confused ‘’may i ask why you here alone with this grave?’’ You asked a bit rudely
Siyeon turned toward you with anger within her eyes.
‘’This isn't just a grave’’ she bit her words
You nodded for her to continu. She breathed in before making you face her back once again.
‘’A long time ago I had a lover, Bora, she…she got into an accident…and I couldn't do anything to save her. The doctors said she might never wake up from her coma..so i did the only thing i could do’’ she looked down tearfully
‘’Who’s Bora’’ you asked nervously not wanting to anger the vampire
‘’Sua, we call her sua now, i can't bare calling her Bora’’
You tilted your head confused
‘’I saved her that night, but the damage was already done to her memory, she woke up a vampire and didn't knew who i was’’ she started crying before you
‘’And I just wonder if only I had let her time, maybe she would of gained back her memory and woke up again just fine’’ she said between sobs.
You approached her trembling figure and embraced her within your arms. You waited for her to calm down before turning her around.
You gently place your hand on her cheek and gazed into her eyes. You were about to reassure her when she suddenly kissed you. You would lie if you said her lips weren't entrancing you at that moment. However you pulled away from her knowing this was wrong.
‘’Oh, i'm so sorry-‘’ she looked at you desperately waiting for you to say something back
‘’I didn't mean too y/n’’ you hugged her closer to you and rubbed her back gently.
‘’Its okay Siyeon’’ she started sobbing again
‘’I think you should talk to Sua, just remind her, or at least try’’ you said softly in to her ears
‘’She doesn’t remember me y/n’’ she cried out
You held the crumbling vampire even tighter and
tried soothing her ‘’she will once you explain it to her i promise’’ you said tears forming in your eyes
She simply nodded in your embrace.
You brought Siyeon back inside with you and put her to sleep. You closed her bedroom door and returned to your bed for the rest of the night.
Now you understood why Siyeon was taking such good care of the flowers, she would bring some to her lover's grave, on most nights you assumed.
________
The next day you were awoken by a knock at your door.
‘’Yes?’’ You shouted
The door was then opened to reveal none other than Gahyeon. She approached your bed with a letter in hand. She smiled shyly at you before talking, ‘’thank you for the letter y/n’’ she looked down while moving on her feet
You smiled at her cuteness ‘’well i could say the same to you Gahyeon…thanks for the letter you wrote to me, i appreciate it alot’’
You saw her smile grow even bigger before she looked up at you. She jumped onto your bed and started rambling excitingly ‘’So today is hunt day! And I thought since you wanted help to learn how to live this way…i would bring you with me to the forest! We only take blood from small animals!’’
You looked at her trying to take in all the information that was thrown your way.
‘’I didn't know a princess would go hunting’’ you teased
She gasped before realizing something ‘’oh thats why it took you and handong so much time yesterday…’’
You raised a brow at her before she continued.
She put her hand on top of yours now looking worried. ‘’If you don't want too i understand, it isn't something that's fun to think about, i know’’ gahyeon added
‘’No it's fine, i'll go with you’’ you smiled and she reciprocated.
She turned around and covered her eyes, confused as to why she was doing so, you asked her what she was doing.
‘’I'm waiting for you to change to go out!’’ She laughed.
‘’Oh!’’ You exclaimed and got out of bed. You dressed yourself up quickly before uncovering her eyes by taking her hands. She smiled at you as you watched her face.
‘’Let’s go!’‘ She pulled on your arm and you were on your way.
———-
Once outside she stopped you
‘’Okay, so when we go hunting we go to the forest to the north of the house’’ She stopped and tapped her lips with her finger, seeming pensive.
You watched her with a smile, you never realized how beautiful she was, but here under the sunlight it was undeniable, even though her nature, she looked like an angel.
‘’Oh! Let’s race to the forest!’’ She looked at you joyfully
You couldn't refuse a challenge, you had nothing to do ever since you were brought here so an adventure sounded fun.
‘’The forest is that way behind the house, we can meet at the cabin’’
‘’The cabin?’’ You went to look back at her to see her already gone. You laughed before following her. To your surprise you quickly arrived at the forest. This speed you had acquired was quite insane.
You kept swooping in between the trees until you were in front of a cliff. You definitely didn't go the right way. Your were about to call for gahyeon when you heard someone approaching you.
‘’Lost?’’ Gahyeon teased
You grinned at her ‘’no actually i was trying to get away’’ you teased before running again.
She laughed at your clumsy running before following you.
At a certain point you let Gahyeon take the lead. She guided you both to that so-called cabin. She entered and called for you to enter as well.
When you entered you saw dead animals hanging from the ceiling and knifes on tables surrounding the place
‘’How lovely’’ you cringed
‘’Listen, this is our only way of surviving’’ she sadly smiled.
You nodded before she continued ‘’So, we only kill small animals, you need to snap its neck for it to die without pain okay?’’
‘’Oh god, i don't know if i can do this gah-‘’
She stopped you and took your hand
‘’You'll be fine y/n, if you can't do it then just look at the traps around. When you find something, however you do, bring it back here and i’ll drain them before bringing back the blood home’’
You gulped before slowly nodding
She gave you gloves and guided you outside.
‘’You can check the traps around here, just follow the red thread. I'll go look around and we can meet again in an hour?’’
‘’Okay’’ you smiled at her.
‘’Good luck!’’ She exclaimed happily before going her seperate way.
You followed the first red line you saw. First cage was empty.
You turned back and followed another one. There was a dead rabbit. You approached carefully before removing its body from the trap. You cringed and decided to bring it right back to the cabin so as to not carry it around with you.
You once again followed the red thread. You arrived at the base of a giant tree. You pull on the thread and heard the cage giggle. You looked under the tree's roots and saw it stuck there.
You kneeled closer to it but stopped when you saw a carcass laying there with the cage turned upside down.
You didn't think much of it, might just be a coyote or a wolf who had seen the animal trapped and decided it was a good meal for the day.
You followed another red line only to find another carcass. Weird. I'll tell gahyeon about it later.
You did about 5 more cages and bringed back 3 more animals to the cabin.
You arrived and saw Gahyeon already inside, setting up the animals.
‘’I found 4 total!’’ You exclaimed proundly
‘’See! I knew you could do it’’ she smiled at you
You set the animals on the table near her and leaned against it.
You watched her working for a bit. Mostly just taking in her face and how cute she looked in contrast to her actions, which was basically dealing with dead animals.
You looked away when you saw her eyes turn a slight bit towards you. She smiled to herself.
‘’Here’’ she set down the last animal and washed her hands
‘’So what now?’’ You looked over at her small figure
‘’We can go back home now and come back tomorrow for the blood’’ she explained
''That's it? I thought we would have fun today, isn't that what you promised?’’ You teased her as you crossed your arms.
She thought for a second before walking closer to you.
‘’Well there is a game I like to play with the others from time to time’’ she smirked before walking even closer.
She looked at you smiling when she suddenly tapped your shoulder before shouting the word tag. You saw her quickly escaping outside and you couldn't help but laugh.
‘’Really?’’ You muttered to yourself. You pushed yourself up from your leaning position and exited the cabin.
‘’You won't escape me Gahyeon!’’ You shouted , before laughing when you heard her distant giggle.
You started running toward the sound. Once you arrived at its location, you looked around. She wasn’t here? Your face suddenly got hit by a small rock, you looked up and saw the culprit. Gahyeon was sitting on the tree now laughing at her actions.
She quickly jumped and tried running away but you catched her. It was now your turn to shout tag.
You ran away and hid behind a rock. You heard her footsteps near and held your breath. You looked over the rock and saw her staring back at you.
You cursed under your breath and tried escaping once again. You heard her giggle before you were pinned against a tree.
She giggled and jokefully lifted her hand up towards you. While keeping the other to keep you pinned there.
You lifted both your hands up in defeat ‘’Okay, you win’’
She didn’t reply to you though, you noticed how close her face was to yours and how she seemed to be staring at your lips rather than your eyes.
Before you could ask her anything she kissed you. You stood there frozen.
She tried excusing herself but you cut her off by kissing her again. This time passionately. She hummed as you pulled away a minute later.
You grinned at her and she shyly smiled while looking down.
‘’Do you like me, perhaps?’’
She smacked your shoulder while covering her smile ‘’Yes’’
‘’Mind being my girlfriend then?’’you asked
She smiled before kissing you again.
I suppose that's a yes.
———-
You walked back home hand in hand with gahyeon. You both joined the girls in the living room.
Minji was sitting next to Yooh and Handong. Dami was drawing the birds outside the window and to your surprise Siyeon was talking to Sua apart from everyone.
Minji noticed you and jump up to go see you
‘’How was it?’’ She smiles nervously waiting for your reply.
‘’It was okay Unnie’’ she smile at the name
‘’They're mine now’’ gahyeon smiled up to her unnie
Minji looked back at you shocked. You held up your hands. She laughed.
‘’Well, i'm glad you finally told y/n, so i don't have to hear about how much you like them everyday’’ Minji teased her before getting pushed around by the maknae. Her face was now red and you joined Minji who was laughing.
You grabbed gahyeon's hand and pulled her back towards you.
‘’Hey’’ you look into her eyes while pushing away a strand of hair behind her ear. She smiled shyly.
‘’I like as you well if you couldn't tell’’ you smiled at her
‘’I know’’ she kissed your cheek before hurriedly leaving the room. You looked at her confused.
You then heard her shout ‘’i'm moving your things to my room y/n!’’ Minji laughed at your flushed face.
Minji then hugged you.
‘’I'm glad i saved you y/n, you saved me after all, and i promise to always take care of you’’
She pulled back to wait for your answer.
You nodded tearfully remembering that day. You never thought a vampire would be any good to you, but she saved you and took you under her wings.
You hated to admit it but you'll forever be grateful to her. She squeezed your shoulder before returning to Yooh.
You then remembered about Siyeon and Sua on the other side of the room. You approached and heard Sua softly sobbing while Siyeon was holding her hands. Siyeon noticed you and excused herself to sua, giving her a kiss on her temple.
‘’Does she…remember?’’ You hesitantly asked
Siyeon teared up at your words before hugging you close. ‘’Thank you for giving me courage y/n, i've been in pain for years, i was too scared to try and make her remember. I didn't want to give myself false hope and then be heart broken, but thanks to you i decided it was done hiding the truth from her’’
She looked at you thankful
‘’she doesn't remember much but she believes me and that's more than i could ever asked for’’
You felt yourself tear up as well as you hugged her back.
‘’Thank you’’ she mumbled
‘’Your welcome Siyeon’’ you smiled at her
‘’Sorry if i was cold towards you when you first arrived, just know that i will always care for you y/n, you're a part of our family now’’ she slightly bowed before you.
You bowed back before letting go back to Bora. You watched as she embraced her past and now present lover in her arms. You smiled.
You looked around you, these were all good people, living the same curse as you. You smiled to yourself thinking about your adventures with Gahyeon earlier.
You breathed out almost content.
Maybe this isn’t so bad after all.

With The Rain
Idol: Yoohyeon (Dreamcatcher)
Prompt: Hi! I'm so excited to see Dreamcatcher getting so many reactions and oneshots! They deserve so much love! No pressure, but if possible could I request a Yoohyeon scenario where: Yoohyeon and the fem Reader are both superheroes guarding different towns, and they send penpal notes to each other because they have a crush on each other. And one day Reader doesn't respond and Yoohyeon goes to her town to make sure she's okay and finds that her nemesis has finally captured her! Cue an angry rescue!
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: Ugh I suck at titles. Also, this took me forever to write because I kind of forgot how to write an action sequence. And it’s LONG. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this scenario!
Warnings: Weapons (guns), fighting, violence but nothing too graphic, cursing.

Now, under normal circumstances, Yoohyeon wouldn’t have been worried over your silence. She would have just figured that you out saving your city again and that you’d write her back when you could. After all, being a super hero was a busy job that didn’t save a ton of time for writing letters, and you could take care of yourself if anything came up. There had been plenty of times when the two of you had taken short breaks from letter writing to fight some crime. But this time, it was different. This time you weren’t answering her texts either.
Yoohyeon bit her lip as she stared down at her phone, stalling in the long hallway leading to the kitchen. You hadn’t even read the messages she’d sent to you over the course of the past four days and that wasn’t like you. The nagging feeling of unease at the back of her brain was now turning into worry as she sent another text and sighed, running her hand through her hair. What could be happening to keep you away for this long?
“They’re probably fine,” Siyeon said from behind her, making her jump and spin around, letting out a groan.
“Tell me when you’re going to teleport behind me, please,” Yoohyeon grumbled at the older woman, shoving her phone down into her back pocket despite the growing anxiety in her chest. The familiar hallway walls, covered in photos of the team, suddenly felt closer together.
“That would ruin the surprise.” Siyeon shrugged, then raised her eyebrows. “Why are you so worried about (Y/N) anyway? They can handle themselves just fine.”
“I know that.” Yoohyeon sighed and rubbed her hands over her face. “But it’s not like them to just disappear on me, you know? I have this weird feeling....”
“Weirder than sending letters to each other like my grandparents?”
“We’re pen pals and it’s cute, Siyeon. And I’m being serious, I just feel uneasy. I can’t stop worrying about them. About us.”
The older woman seemed to consider this for a moment. “Well, we don’t have anything going on over here. Why don’t you go to their town and see what’s up? Maybe they need some help.”
“That wouldn’t be weird?”
“I mean, if you’re really worried and this isn’t like them, then it would probably make you feel better to go check on them, right? I bet they’re just sick. And if they are okay and they’re just ignoring you on purpose, then tell them off because that’s a dick thing to do.”
She was right. Yoohyeon couldn’t help being a bit nervous that maybe you were ghosting her and didn’t want to see her, but she knew that wasn’t something you would do. Maybe you were sick. So she took out her phone again and checked the time. “Alright. I’ll go over there. Make sure Jiu knows that I’m heading out. I should be home in an hour if nothing goes wrong.”
“And if you aren’t?”
“I’ll send you some sort of signal if I get into trouble.” She slipped past Siyeon and gave her a smile as she walked back to her room. “Thanks for the advice.”
Waving her hand, Siyeon smiled and shrugged again. “No problem,” she said, giving the younger woman a mock salute before disappearing into a cloud of smoke, probably on her way back to the kitchen.
In her room, Yoohyeon quickly grabbed her suit and stuffed it into her bag, along with the long distance Bluetooth earpiece that doubled as a tracker that Handong, the technical brain of the team, had given all of them for emergencies. Then, with a stop in the bathroom to make sure she looked acceptable, she was out the door on her way to your town, her heart beating heavy in her chest. Above her head, clouds began to gather, slowly blocking out the sun.
-
As soon as she arrived in your town, she knew something was wrong. The smell of smoke hung in the air and the streets were deserted. Even the usually busy town hall outside the union station was empty except for the workers, and she frowned, furrowing her brow as she slipped into the bathroom and pulled out her phone. With her heart beginning to pound in her chest, she checked the news for your town, cursing herself for not doing so earlier. The first thing that popped up was a warning for citizens to stay home, and her stomach fell.
The terrorist group known as the Earth Order has returned from hiding after breaking their leader Hornet from prison. This weekend, they stormed the city bank and took everyone inside hostage. Superhero (Y/N) arrived on the scene but has not been seen again since the incident. Law enforcement have warned citizens to stay inside as they are trying to negotiate and have been working with other local heroes, but the public has started to fear the worst.
Yoohyeon swore at herself under her breath and grabbed her suit, internally kicking herself. Of course it was Hornet! You’d told her that he’d been broken out of prison only days before you stopped responding. Why hadn’t she checked the news earlier? Because she was scared that you’d lost interest in her? Because she’d been distracted by her feelings for you? If only she’d known, she could have come earlier. She could have helped you. She could have stopped you from being hurt.
Fear mixed with rage as she slid her mask over her face, concealing her true identity. She wasn’t sure what was going on with the other heroes and law enforcement, but she had to get in there and help you, no matter what she did. As she stuffed her civilian clothes back into her bag, her phone rang and she glanced at the caller. Jiu.
“Something happened,” the older woman said as soon as Yoohyeon answered the phone. “What’s wrong.”
“How did you know?” Yoohyeon asked, slipping her bag over her shoulder as she prepared to leave.
“The weather doesn’t usually go from sunny to a downpour unless you have something to do with it.”
“Oh.” Sure enough, when she stepped out of the bathroom, rain was pouring from the now grey skies, pounding against the ground. Sheepishly, she rubbed the back of her neck. “Yep, that’s me. Sorry, I thought I had more control over my powers now.”
“It’s only when you get really upset. So I know something happened.”
“(Y/N) was captured by Hornet, their nemesis. They went into the bank building after them a few days ago and they haven’t been seen since.”
“That is bad,” Jiu said, and Yoohyeon could hear her leader typing on the other side of the line. “Do you want us to come as backup? I can get the rest of the girls suited up in no time.”
“No, not right now.” Yoohyeon narrowed her eyes and clenched her jaw. This was something she had to do. “I’ll send a panic alert through the tracker if I run into trouble. There are heroes here on the ground. I’ll think something up.”
“Well, if you’re sure. Good luck.”
“Thanks, Jiu.” Yoohyeon ended the call and slipped her phone into her bag, attached the Bluetooth to her ear, and turned on the tracker. With that, she stowed her bag in one of the lockers at the nearby bus station and took off through the rain, headed straight for the bank.
-
It didn’t take long for her to find it. She didn’t know the layout of your town all that well, but all she had to do was follow the smoke and, soon, the sound of sirens. Squad cars, firetrucks, and ambulances crowded and blocked the road as she reached the scene, and she immediately spotted the team of heroes you worked with gathered behind one of the trucks, speaking to local law enforcement. The bank doors were closed, but the windows were broken and smoking, and blackened, burnt-out cars cluttered the surrounding streets. Frowning, she stayed out of sight from the bank’s many windows, looking the tall building up and down from behind one of the cars. For the first time, she wished she had Siyeon’s power of teleportation. The place looked impenetrable.
After surveying the scene, she stayed low and approached the large truck, trying her best to stay out of sight. At the sound of her footsteps, one of your teammates turned around and gasped.
“Rain? What are you doing here?” At the sound of his voice the rest of the team turned around and she pressed a finger to her lips, joining them in their hiding spot.
“I’m here because I heard what happened to (Y/N).”
“Oh.” Another one of your teammates, Dazzler, twisted her hands, throwing a worried glance up at the building. “Were you worried too?”
“Of course, we’re close.” That was all they needed to know for now. “What’s the situation?”
“It’s not good.” Your team leader Miniaturist stepped up, shaking her head. “We arrived as backup as soon as communication from (Y/N) cut out inside the bank, but Hornet called in reinforcements and he knows we’re here. We can’t just run inside because we don’t know where his hostages are and we don’t need any more civilians getting hurt. Any time we get close, members of the terrorist group come pouring out. We’ve gone through so many, but they just keep coming. We have no idea how many people are inside.”
“That is a rough situation.” Yoohyeon crossed her arms, trying to think. “Does he know all of your powers?”
“Sort of. I was able to shrink myself down and slip in one of the first floor windows without anyone noticing, but they’ve locked and sealed the doors to the stairs so that I couldn’t climb in and unlock it, and I can’t just use the elevator. They’re using the bank cameras to track our every move.”
“I could short circuit the cameras,” added your other teammate Shocker, “but I can’t get close enough without getting shot at or attacked. They always see us coming.”
Hornet had really covered every one of his bases this time. Yoohyeon glanced around the team, then back at the building. Any rescue attempt would be risky at this point, but she had to get in there. They couldn’t let this go on any longer. Using Shocker was their best bet, but how could they get him close enough?
An idea hit her and she brought her hand up to her Bluetooth. “Shocker, do you think you’d have enough time to short circuit the cameras if we teleported you in close enough?”
“I can do it in seconds, but we don’t have anyone like that on our team.”
“I do.” She pressed the button and waited until Jiu’s voice cut through the static.
“Yoohyeon, what’s up?”
“Can you have Vanisher teleport to my location?”
“In her suit?”
“Yes please.”
“I’m on it.”
The Bluetooth cut out and Yoohyeon brought her hand down. “She should be here any minute.”
“Teleportation is exactly what we need,” Miniaturist said, perking up for the first time. “Once the cameras are down, they can only see us from the windows. There are plenty of blind spots in the back of the building. I’ll go through the back door and see if I can scope out the place. Once we have an idea of what we’re dealing with, we can send a team to the front of the building to distract Hornet. He doesn’t know you or Vanisher are here, and that gives us an advantage. You guys can go around the back and take him by surprise while we draw his backup away from you.”
“That sounds like a great idea.” A little poof of smoke revealed a grinning Siyeon and everyone jumped upon her arrival, spinning around to look at her.
“Woah, you really can teleport,” commented Shocker, holding his hand to his chest in shock, and she laughed.
“Of course I can! Now, who am I taking to stop the cameras?” She was as nonchalant as ever when faced with danger and Yoohyeon felt a bit better now that she was there. The situation felt a bit more familiar.
“It’s me,” Shocker said, raising his hand, and Siyeon grabbed him by his shoulders, still grinning.
“I’ll try to hold you still so that you don’t get sick. Just ready yourself, okay?” She didn’t give him enough time to resist, disappearing with him in her arms. After a moment, Yoohyeon heard electricity popping and then the fire of automatic guns. Dazzler’s face with white, but with a poof of smoke, Siyeon and Shocker appeared again behind the truck, unharmed.
“Oh thank goodness,” Dazzler said, putting a hand to her chest and letting out a sigh of relief, and Shocker gave her a thumbs up despite looking a bit sick.
“Cameras are all down. I accidentally turned out all their electricity for a minute too but it’s hard to control your power after your entire body is transported through space and time somehow.”
“That’s being dramatic,” Siyeon said, dusting off her suit and looking around. “What’s the plan now?”
“It’s my turn.” Miniaturist disappeared from her spot and Siyeon blinked.
“Wait, I thought they didn’t have a teleporter.”
“We don’t.” A faint voice came from the ground and both Siyeon and Yoohyeon looked down to see a tiny woman waving at them. “I’m going to run around the back and scope out the area. I’ll communicate with my team and have them rely information to you.” With that, Miniaturist jumped up to the top of the truck, leaving Siyeon and Yoohyeon to stare in surprise.
“Man, that’s one weird power. How did she do that?” Siyeon asked, and Dazzler grinned.
“Something about keeping the power she has at normal size when she’s miniature. Isn’t it cool?”
“It really is. It’s useful during times like this too.”
“Yep.” Shocker sat down, rubbing his hands together to recharge his powers. “Now we just sit here and wait.”
-
“She was able to get into the back stairwell.” Dazzler reported, “They’re holding the civilian hostages on the second floor with ten guards. There are terrorist goons on every floor and there’s someone with a gun at every window. The third floor is full of them, it seems like that’s where the reinforcements are. They’re using the back stairwell. She was able to get to each floor other than the sixth, because there’s a blockade there. She thinks that’s where Hornet and (Y/N) are.” Pulling her hand away from her ear, Dazzler peeked out to look at the building and sighed. “We’re way outnumbered. Even if these guys don’t have powers, they have weapons and there’s a lot of them.”
“We have a member who can control metal.” At Yoohyeon’s words, everyone turned to look at her and Dazzler raised her eyebrows.
“That would help. Could you get her here?”
“I can.” The words barely left Siyeon’s mouth before she disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
When she reappeared, it was with two women instead of one. “I brought our leader too. She controls fire and can make explosions.”
“Hi,” Jiu said, waving a hand as she stepped forward. “I’m Firefly, but you guys can call me Jiu.”
“And I’m Handong. You might also know me as Silver.” Handong waved her gloved hand as well, glancing around the team. “We got the rundown from Siyeon. When are we going in?”
Shocker smiled and waved back at them, even though he looked a bit queasy when he saw them teleport. “Whenever our leader gets back from scoping the place out.”
“I’m back.” The voice made them all jump, then Miniaturist’s sudden appearance made them jump again. She was slightly dusty and she frowned as she brushed off her suit.
“I thought they didn’t have a teleporter?” Jiu asked, and Miniaturist laughed.
“I don’t teleport, I get really tiny. Hence my name, Miniaturist.”
“That makes a lot of sense. I’m Firefly, nice to meet you. This beside me is Silver. We’re here to help. I control fire and she controls metal.”
“This is good.” Miniaturist crossed her arms. “Here’s what we’ll do. Silver, we need you here. Shocker, Dazzler, and I will charge in from the front as a distraction, but there are snipers in every window. We need your cover long enough for the others to wipe out the snipers. Vanisher, Rain, and Firefly will go around the back to wipe out the snipers and rescue the hostages, including (Y/N). Does that all sound good?” The team looked at each other and nodded, and Miniaturist put her hand into the middle of the circle. “Then let’s do this. For the hostages, and for (Y/N).”
Yoohyeon’s heart began to beat a bit faster as she put her hand into the circle and cheered with the rest of them. Miniaturist hadn’t been able to find you, were you really inside? Were you okay? Where could Hornet be hiding you? Were you...? She didn’t let herself finish the question, instead clenching her teeth together and holding onto Siyeon. She couldn’t let herself get upset before the mission even started.
“Now!” Miniaturist yelled, and a blast of blinding light from Dazzler signaled the charge. With that, Yoohyeon’s world went momentarily black.
When she came back, she was dizzy and standing in front of the back door. No matter how many times she teleported, she always ended up feeling strange. As she got her balance back, she watched Jiu try the doorknob.
“She must have unlocked it,” the oldest girl said as she swung the door open. “Let’s go.”
“Do we have a plan?” Siyeon asked as the three of them slipped inside, and Jiu scanned the ceiling.
“I do. I’m going to set of the smoke alarms and the sprinklers. That way Yoohyeon will never run out of water to manipulate and the terrorists will be confused. We need to hit the second floor with the hostages first after we shock them so we catch them by surprise and there’s less chance for people to get hurt.”
“That’s a good idea.” Yoohyeon stopped, tried another door, and nodded for the other girls to come over. “Here are the stairs. We should be able to find a smoke detector in here somewhere.” Outside, the sounds of fighting were loud, and she shuddered at the constant firing of the guns. She knew Handong was good, but they had never faced off against this many enemies before. She could only hope that the other woman could handle it.
“Here’s one! And on the third floor, great.” Jiu stopped and opened her palm. After a second, a fire popped to life above her skin and she held it up to the detector, stretching her arms to reach. At first, nothing happened. Then a piercing siren echoed throughout the building and sprinklers sputtered to life, drenching the floor in seconds.
“Shit, what the fuck was that?”
“I don’t know, but now the elevators won’t work!”
Inside the door that Yoohyeon guessed led to the room where the hostages were being held, she could hear confused yelling. Quickly, the three women moved behind the door and listened to the thud of booted feet rumbling towards the stairwell door.
As soon as the door opened and two men stepped out, Siyeon slammed the door behind them and Yoohyeon manipulated the water, turning the downpour into a whip and sending the two flying down the stairs. There was a crack when their heads landed, and the didn’t move again. Satisfied, the girls turned again to the door.
“Why did you slam the door?” Three more men walked through and Yoohyeon gave them the same treatment, using her water to ram them against the wall. They would be fine, but they wouldn’t wake up for a while.
“That’s five,” Jiu whispered, “five left.”
“Hey, what’s going on out there?” Another voice sounded from behind the door, and they looked at each other. Was this really going to be this easy?
“You goddamn fool! Don’t go through that door, there has to be someone out there!” The next fool foiled their hope for an easy take down. Hearing this, Yoohyeon turned her body to water and slipped underneath the door to look. Five more armed men stood inside, and the biggest one was blocking the rest of the men from the door, glaring at them with his weapon in his hands.
“But who? The whole team is-.”
“They must have called reinforcements. We have to warn Hornet.”
“Oh no you don’t!” Just as quick as she’d turned to water, she returned to her solid form, landing a solid kick against the man’s throat. He choked and went down, and the rest of the men raised their guns, only for them to melt in their hands, making them gasp and scream as it burnt their skin.
“Awe, is it too hot in here for you boys?” Jiu stood in the doorway, her hands and eyes aflame. “Why don’t I make it a bit hotter?” She aimed her arm at one of the big guns at the broken-out window and the goon in her way screamed and dove out of the way just in time to avoid the wave of fire that melted the gun and exploded some of the glass. “Oh, I see you have a survival instinct.”
A few of the men had made a run for the door, but Siyeon was quick and well trained. She kicked one of them, sending him tumbling back against the man running behind him, then jumped onto the back of another, wrapping her legs around his neck and sending him down. With a poof of smoke, she was gone and back again with rope, and soon, all the goons were sat in the corner, their hands and legs tied and their weapons melted or disintegrated.
The scared hostages, mostly bank workers, stared at them with wide eyes as they approached, as if they couldn’t believe they were really there.
“You came to save us?” One woman asked, and Jiu nodded, bending down with a soft smile to burn through the ropes binding them, setting them free.
“We came to save you. Come on, we’ll take you down the back stairs, but we have to be fast. Since the elevators are off, reinforcements might come down the stairs.
The hostages were weak after sitting bound on the floor for so long and most of them stumbled and fell, but with Siyeon’s help for the weakest ones, they were able to get every one of them to the ambulances waiting outside. Still, Yoohyeon couldn’t rest. She was anxious to get back inside.
As the three of them once again entered the stairwell, Jiu turned to Yoohyeon. “I know you want to go find (Y/N), so you should. Siyeon and I can handle the rest of them.”
“Are you sure?”
“We’re sure.” Siyeon patted her shoulder. “If you can’t get around the blockage, call me. And good luck.”
Setting her jaw, Yoohyeon nodded at her teammates, thankful that they understood. “Good luck.” With that, she turned and headed up the stairs, taking them two at a time in her rush. She could still hear gunfire, but she focused on her mission: she had to get to you and trust in the others to be able to handle the rest of the situation. So up she went, running as fast as she could to get to the top.
Just as she was about to round the last set of stairs to get to the blockade, an explosion from above rocked the building and she threw herself onto the floor, covering her head as rubble showered down around her. When the dust settled around her, she slowly stood up and crept up the rest of the stairs to the next landing, every sense on high alert. The air was still cloudy and she had to resist the urge to cough just in case someone was close by. Thankfully, the landing was still intact, but as she looked up at the next set of stairs, she realized what the explosion had been.
The bottom half of the stairs where the blockade had been had been reduced to rubble that cluttered the stairs below, leaving a gaping hole impossible to jump over. At least, for a regular person. Yoohyeon furrowed her eyebrow and looked up. The next landing was still intact was well, although obviously shaken and unsafe. Did this mean Hornet knew they were in the building? He had destroyed his one escape route outside the elevator. He was desperate.
Yoohyeon stepped back until she hit the wall and studied the gap. Going back now was no option. She’d have to jump it.
She closed her eyes and breathed slow and deep, feeling the water all around her and connecting it with her body. Then she readied herself to run in the small space, placing one foot in front of the other and outstretching her hands behind her. It was a technique she’d seen Jiu use, and even though she’d never tried with water before, it had to work.
When she opened her eyes, she started to run, going as fast as she possibly could. Then, at the very last moment as her foot hit the edge of the gap, she jumped and released a jet of water from her hands, propelling her up and forwards at high speed. Her feet landed on the remaining steps and she almost felt relief until the unstable concrete gave out beneath her and she threw herself forward, grabbing onto the corner of the landing to catch herself. The sharp end cut into her hand but she held on, getting her knees onto another more stable step before again throwing her body forward, landing mostly on the ledge. The rest of the stairs crumbled behind her and she gasped for air and carefully crawled forward, not looking back.
The ledge was full of growing cracks, but she spread out her body weight and moved slow and purposeful until she was on the last set of ten stairs, leading to the final floor. Somehow, they were still standing, but not for long. Still careful, Yoohyeon stood to her feet and took them two at a time once again, desperate to get onto solid flooring again. They held her weight and, as she reached the landing and, subsequently, the last doorway, she took a deep breath.
If you weren’t beyond this door....
No, she couldn’t think of that now. Instead of opening the door, she turned her body to water again and slipped silently underneath the door before slithering further into the room. The sprinklers were still going and the water on the floor helped disguise her form, as even in the water she still had a face. The last floor was severely damaged, desks and chairs mangled and holes through the walls. Sparks from broken lights fell into the water and the further through the labyrinth of hallways and offices on the last floor she went, the destruction got worse, until she reached a large meeting room with the door ripped to shreds.
Inside, she heard a voice and her heart stopped. It was you. You were alive.
“Just admit that you’re beaten. They’ve taken out most of your snipers, they took your hostages, and they’re beating the shit out of your guys on the ground. There’s no way you can win this.” Your voice was rough and raspy as you spat at the words, and she could hear chains clanking together and scraping against the floor.
“I think you’re forgetting something,” a man’s voice hissed in return, and anger boiled in Yoohyeon’s chest. Hornet. “I still have you. What do you think your teammates will do if I threaten to kill you?”
“You won’t get away with it. You won’t get away with any of this.”
Yoohyeon followed the sound of your voice, slowly pulling herself from the water so that she could see. In one corner of the meeting room, you were chained to a chair, your legs strapped to the legs and your arms chained so tight behind your back that your arms were streaked with red cuts. You were holding your head high despite the cuts and bruises on your face and the dark circles under your eyes, staring Hornet right in the eyes as he walked over to glare down at you. He was a lean man, not traditionally intimidating, but he towered over you and his eyes were wide, yellow, and crazy. The long fingernails he used to sting and paralyze dug into your skin as he grabbed your face, and Yoohyeon belated realized, to her horror, that you were hooked up to an IV at the back of your neck.
That was how he had captured you. He was continuously paralyzing you through the IV, using the same poison from his nails.
“You sure are brave today. How about I give you another round of electricity and see how brave you are then? With all this water around I can’t guarantee it won’t kill you.”
“But I can.” Yoohyeon stood to her full height, revealing herself as she slashed her hand through the air, sending blades of water to cut through the IV. At the sound of her voice you jerked your head back and Hornet dropped you to spin around, his wild eyes darting around the room until they landed on her.
“Y-Yoohyeon?”
“Who are you?” He demanded, and Yoohyeon glared, the water around her beginning to boil with the intensity of her anger.
“Your worst nightmare.” She pulled her arms back, then pushed them forward, sending a wave of boiling water straight into his core. He let out a cry of pain as he was thrown back into the wall, and she turned her attention to you, slashing at your restraints. The metal of your chain didn’t break as easily as the IV, and he was back on his feet before she could break through, his eyes flashing yellow.
“I won’t let you ruin this! Not after I came so far!” He was faster than she’d thought he would be, and she narrowly missed his charge, jumping to the side just in time to avoid his nails. As he slid to a stop and turned around, she turned her palms upward and pulled up before making a fist, turning the water around her into sharp frozen knives that she then threw towards him with all the force in her body.
They missed his skin but caught on his clothing and dragged him back up against the wall, digging deep into the cheap dry wood. Once again, she had bought herself time and she turned her attention back to you, sharpening her water blade this time through pure anger as she slashed and hacked against your chains.
Just as they fell away and you slumped forward, barely able to catch yourself after the affects of the poison, Hornet roared and broke free, once again charging at Yoohyeon. This time, she was ready, turning her entire body to water and letting him charge right through her before she spun around and grabbed him by the shoulders. Water flowed through her body and up from the ground in a boiling fountain, enveloping him as he screamed. He dragged his body forward and twisted back, trying to escape, but she stared him in the eye, twisted and flexed her fingers, and drew in a purposeful breath, watching with pleasure as the boiling water turned to ice, trapping him inside. Satisfied, she breathed out, freed her hands and pulled away, then immediately refroze the space her hands had made at his shoulders. From inside, he stared at her with his crazy eyes, mid-scream, unable to move but obviously furious.
With Hornet defeated, she turned and ran to your side, helping you sit back up and sucking in a breath when she saw your wounds up close. “Oh my god, (Y/N), are you okay? What did he do to you? I’ll get you down to the ambulance right away.”
Tears were running down your face as you looked up at her, your body shaking as you did your best to move. “You came for me,” you whispered, and she nodded, trying not to cry herself as she dropped to her knees and pulled you gently into her arms.
“I did. I couldn’t let anything happen to you.” She swallowed the lump in her throat, squeezing her eyes shut. “I’m so sorry I didn’t get here earlier.”
“It’s not your fault.” You let your forehead fall against her shoulder, your body exhausted. “I should have been stronger. I shouldn’t have let him draw me into this small room. He had the advantage.” A sob shuddered through your body. “I let everyone down. I let you down.”
“You didn’t let anyone down,” she assured you, “especially not me. We all came together to get you out of this. I’m just glad you’re alive. I-I don’t know what I would have done if I couldn’t save you.”
“I feel cold.” Your voice was brittle and she quickly scooped you into her arms and stood up, terror rushing through her veins. Your body was cold and your breathing uneven and labored, and your eyes slowly began to close.
“No,” she said, letting the tears flow from her eyes as she ran towards the elevators, using the water to raise her own temperature. She had come this far. She couldn’t lose you like this. “Hand in there, (Y/N). I’ll get you help. Please.” Her voice broke as she stopped in front of the elevator, desperately trying to force it open. Nothing would work and she stomped her foot in frustration, turning the water settled on the floor to steam. “I can’t lose you. I love you! Please don’t leave me.”
Slumping to the floor, she cradled you, sobbing as she pressed her forehead to yours. “Please, (Y/N), wake up.”
At that moment, her Bluetooth crackled to life and Jiu’s voice came through, loud and clear. “Yoohyeon, is everything okay on your side?”
Reluctantly, she pulled an arm away from you to touch her ear, unable to stop sobbing. “No, it’s (Y/N). I got here, but I might be too late. The stairs and destroyed and the elevator isn’t working, I can’t do anything-.”
“I’m sending Siyeon to your location now!” Jiu’s voice was stern. “Stay by their side and do everything you can. She’s coming to help you.”
“Help is coming, (Y/N),” she whispered, cradling you once again. “So please. Just hang in there a little longer.”
-
The world was a blur. Yoohyeon couldn’t control her powers, her body wavering and turning to and from water as the skies poured rain like the city had never seen. The ambulance and police lights all blended together and the sounds around her sounded far away and jumbled. The ambulance with you in it sped away and Miniaturist said something, but Yoohyeon couldn’t hear. She could just watch the lights get smaller and smaller as her body phased in and out, becoming one with the rain.
-
The dry white halls of the hospital were suffocating, yet Yoohyeon found herself walking through them with flowers in her hand, just like she had every day since she rescued you. How long had it been? Four days? Five? They all seemed to blend together now, even if Yoohyeon was doing better. She no longer turned into water without realizing it, but the rain hadn’t stopped.
Her feet stalled in front of your door and she glanced around before stepping inside and quietly closing the door behind her. Flowers, cards, and gifts cluttered the room now, and she added the new ones she’d brought to an old bouquet before approaching your bed.
Your color was better now, and you were no longer cold to the touch. Your limbs twitched and even moved, once. But you were still asleep.
“Hey (Y/N). I’m here again today. Are you feeling better?” She wasn’t expecting an answer. Still, she sighed at the silence and sat down in the chair beside your bed, reaching out to gently touch your arm. “You know, this room is full of gifts for you. Flowers, cards, teddy bears, chocolates.... Everyone is worried about you, and thankful that you risked so much to try and protect them. We all want you to wake up.” After a moment of silence, she took a breath and shook her head. “I need you to wake up. I really don’t know what I’ll do without you, (Y/N). I can hardly breathe without you here.”
The room stayed silent aside from the beeping of machines, and after sitting a while, she stood up with another sigh, her heart heavy. She wasn’t sure how much more of this she could take. You were usually so vibrant and strong. It was unsettling to see you like this.
“Well,” she said, “I’ll come and see you again tomorrow.” She lingered for another moment, just in case, before turning and walking towards the door. Just as her hand was about to turn the knob, the sheets on your bed shifted and she froze.
“Yoohyeon?” Your voice was hoarse and almost unfamiliar, but relief surged through her body anyway as she spun around to look. You were still laying down, but your head was turned towards her, and your eyes were open.
“(Y/N)?” She let out a half laugh, half sob as she ran over to your bed. “(Y/N), you’re awake!”
Your eyes were wide and confused as you looked up at her, then around the room, blinking slowly. “W-where am I?”
“You’re in the hospital. You collapsed at the bank and we rushed you here.” She took your hand, holding in her tears as she smiled and brushed your hair away from your face. “I’m so glad you’re awake.”
You opened your mouth as if you were about to say something, but the door opened and nurses ran in, followed by the doctor. “They’re awake, just like we heard! We need to check vital signs.”
They milled in and out and the silent room suddenly became alive with activity. Yoohyeon watched in awe until you squeezed her hand, pulling her attention back to you. “I’m scared,” you whispered, “can you stay with me?”
Squeezing your hand back, she nodded. “I’m not going anywhere.”
-
The next day, the halls didn’t seem nearly as suffocating as they had before, and Yoohyeon walked through with a smile, another bunch of flowers in hand. When she opened the door, you were awake to greet her, and once again relief and happiness surged through her as she closed the door behind her.
“Good morning. How are you feeling today?”
“A lot better. Still a bit queasy, but the doctors said I’d feel like that for a while. At least I can move all my limbs again. And I can eat. I was starving, quite literally.”
“That is good.” She walked over to fill the vase next to your bed with the new flowers, her smile never leaving her lips. “I brought you tulips today. Aren’t they pretty?”
“They are,” you agreed. “Thank you for coming. The nurses said you came by every day.”
“I did. I couldn’t just leave you alone here. Especially not when you being sick is my fault.”
You raised your eyebrows, your face falling a bit. “Your fault?”
Now her smile disappeared and she twisted her hands together, sitting in the chair beside your bed. “Yes, my fault. Your team needed backup. Had I checked on you sooner, you might not be in the hospital. Had I just checked the news, I would have known. But instead I was scared that you were ghosting me, or that you had gotten annoyed with me. Because of that, I let you suffer for longer.”
“Yoohyeon, you saved me,” you said, sounding confused. “I don’t blame you for any of this. There was no way you could have known that I was in trouble. And it was my own fault for going in without waiting for backup. I let my pride and determination get ahead of me and I ended up causing a lot of trouble for everyone else. I don’t blame you at all. Instead, I’m really thankful that you came to help me.”
“But I could have done it sooner.”
“Hey, listen to me.” You reached over to touch her arm, just like she’d done with you the day before, and she looked up at you. “The past is the past. All of us made mistakes. But everything turned out okay. I don’t blame you. And even if it was somehow your fault, I think you literally saving my life makes up for it. You were incredible in there.”
Your words made her feel a bit better and she nodded a bit, giving you a weak smile. “Do you remember what happened?”
“Honestly, the memories are a bit fuzzy,” you admitted. “But I remember when you burst in. I was trying to be tough, but I was terrified. Then you burst in and I finally felt some hope that I would get out of there. I remember that you froze Hornet. And I remember feeling really, really cold and not being able to move.”
“That was terrifying. I was just holding you and I couldn’t do anything.”
“It’s really foggy after that, but.... I remember you begging me to wake up and stay with you, and saying... that you, um, loved me.” As you spoke, your cheeks grew red and Yoohyeon felt herself flush, clearing her throat and glancing away. Of all things for you to remember!
“Oh.”
“Yeah.” After a moment of awkward silence, you spoke again, your voice tentative. “Did you mean it?”
“What?” She jerked up, looking back at you. You looked... hopeful, almost.
“Did you mean it when you said that you loved me, or were you just saying it in the heat of the moment?”
Well, she couldn’t lie to you now. Not after everything the two of you had gone through. Almost losing you was the scariest thing that had ever happened to her and when you were laying there in her arms, she’d regretted never telling you her feelings. So she took a deep breath and nodded, giving you a small smile. “I meant it. And I regretted not telling you sooner.”
“Sooner?”
“I’ve been in love with you for a long time, (Y/N).”
Your smile widened and you laughed, immediately brightening up as you reached for her hand instead. “Good. Because I’m in love with you too.”
“Really? This isn’t just because I saved you, right?”
“I mean, that’s part of it.” You squeezed her hand. “But I was drawn to you from the moment we met, and I only started to like you more after we got closer and became pen pals and met up all the time. Long story short, I’ve loved you for a long time too, Yoohyeon.”
“Wow.” This was real. She almost felt like fainting from relief and happiness, but she didn’t, grinning and scooting closer to you instead. Her heart felt like it was too big for her chest as it pounded and, for the first time, she felt butterflies in her stomach. You loved her too. You didn’t blame her. You were okay and you loved her too. The emotions were almost overwhelming, and she had to make a joke to keep herself from crying. Had she ever cried this much before? “I can’t believe it took you being taken hostage for us to confess.”
You laughed, once again looking like your usual self. Like the you she loved so much. “At least something good came out of it, I guess. You know, since you saved me, I should do something to pay you back.”
She flushed and quickly shook her head. “You don’t have to do that, I-.”
“No, I insist.” You smiled affectionately. “What about a kiss for my hero?”
She hadn’t been expecting that. Well, it was certainly a good offer. As embarrassed as she felt, Yoohyeon couldn’t stop herself from smiling like a fool as she leaned in closer to you, all the worry and anger she’d felt over the week washing away. Outside, the sun finally peeked out from behind the clouds.
“You know, I think I could get behind that.”
