Hi there! I love your writing! I was wondering if I could request an reader/MC that has a heavy country accent but it only comes out if they're mad? (I do this and my friends think it's hilarious) Maybe a platonic style with the first years? Maybe a part about Epel and reader trash talking others in countryisms? Thank you for your time!

Thank you for the compliment and the request! For the record, I haven't really interacted/heard a country accent that much in my life. So I don't know much beyond what Epel is like when he uses his accent. Sorry if it's not quite right or unrealistic. I can't even understand Epel half the time when reading his accent. But I did google countryisms and woah. I'm so lost but also very entertained

Ace:

at first he's intimidated

it takes his brain a few seconds to actually process what you're saying

but then he thinks it's great

he will think it's entertaining and love's to watch other peoples reactions

he may try to lightly provoke you because he finds your accent entertaining

if he hears you and Epel talking to each other with the accent he will try to follow along

he's most likely to actually understand what you guys are saying since he's a quick learner

he's gonna get real offended real quickly if you trash talk him

Ace doesn't mind as much that you're trash talking the others

Deuce:

also a little intimidated at first

he's heard Epel talk with his accent more than the others have so he get's a little bit of it

maybe every other word

enough for him to maybe piece together what you're saying if he really puts his brain to it

he thinks your accent is interesting, but won't try to make you mad intentionally

he might ask you what some phrase or word means so he can understand

when he hears you and Epel talking with your accents, he can tell you guys aren't saying something nice but he has no clue what you're saying

you and Epel are talking to fast and understanding each other perfectly

he can't keep up with you guys both talking and trying to decipher what you're saying

Jack:

the most intimidated

he can hear and feel the anger when you're talking

he really doesn't want to make you upset and be on the receiving end of that

needs a moment to try and process what you're saying

he wants to understand so later when you aren't mad he'll ask you what certain things mean

most likely to learn and understand what you're saying with time

if he learns enough, he might actually start using some country phrases or slang when he talks

it's pretty funny when he talks all serious and then he uses some slang

when he hears you talking with Epel, he's keeping up with the conversation and actually understanding after a second or two

once he realizes you two are trash talking others he's pretty quiet about it

like he won't stop you two but he won't engage with it either

Epel:

he is really happy about it

you're really mad at this person and he's just standing there smiling

not intimidated at all

he already knows what you're saying and can keep up very well

we all know Epel isn't normally allowed to speak using his accent because Vil, but he's going to start using his accent more now that he knows there's someone like him

don't let Vil hear either of you

but he'll start using his countryisms when he talks normally too

all because he knows there's someone who actually understands what he's saying

when you get mad and start using your accent, he's joining in and is upset with you

that person now has two people saying weird things angrily at them

everyone around you two is lost

Epel loves to trash talk others with you with the accent

it makes him feel so free and kind of like he's back in his home village

Sebek:

he doesn't understand a single thing you're saying but he knows you're mad

as long as you aren't mad at him, he won't complain

if you are mad at him he's not really intimidated but he's also taking everything you say as a threat

be very careful with this

if somehow he thinks you're talking about Malleus then he is yelling at you and challenging you

not the type to ask you about what you're saying (he may ask Lilia later)

he makes internal guesses at what you're saying so it's a 50-50 chance he will see it as a threat

so when he hears you and Epel talking with both of you using your accents, he doesn't know what to think

if he hears you two mention anyone in Diasomnia he's demanding that you explain

he doesn't care about the other students tho

Honey's relationships with the neighbors!

I forgot to do this on her introduction post but I decided to do this with Honey because I thought it would be interesting to explore how her relationships would be with the other neighbors and I'm going to explain how she feels about them because I mean yeah the arrows can only tell you so much that I just want to talk about them because I love talking about my OCs I also decided to put some quotes down that she'd probably say to the neighbors as well hehe

Honey and Julie: So honey is pretty neutral to Julie because there has been instances where Julie had crashed into her window her display case or has destroyed her display case while playing games with Frank She knows it's an accident which is why she usually forgives Julie but it's happened so often that sometimes it can stress her out a little bit when she can be wondering Oh goodness she's playing one of her games again hopefully she doesn't destroy my display case this time 😅

"dang nabbit Julie this is the fourth time this week you crash into my display case can't you play a game that doesn't fling you across the neighborhood I swear this girl's going to give me more gray hairs than an old dog"

Honey and Sally: their relationship is pretty complicated I mean Honey tolerates her but there's also a disdain for her as well because honey thinks she's over dramatic and takes things out of proportion She knows it's in her character but sometimes it's gets a little annoying for her and they butt heads quite often, I like to headcanon that in the last welcome home update with all the audios and the one where Sally is asking Poppy to make her a huge gigantic cake I like to headcanon that she went to honey first but honey refused because she thought it was a waste of cake especially if it was only going to be used on stage and not to care about the flavor and only the design which let them having an argument about it which is why She had to go to Poppy to get the cake and Sally just thinks honey is fake She thinks that she fakes being a southern belle that she isn't really sweet at all She just pretends to be for attention

"Sally, darlin' I ain't going to be wasting a huge cake just for you to vaunt it on stage and nobody's going to eat it now that's just a waste of cake And I ain't going to be wasting perfectly good sweets just to show it off for one of your shows I reckon you go somewhere else if you want a showpiece"

Honey and Poppy: I feel like they would be best friends because they both like to bake I feel like they would have tea parties together and bake with each other especially if honey has a day off from the bakery they just relax and have tea together and of course if Poppy's having one of her panic attacks I feel like she would try to calm her down be like

"now now Ms. Poppy, You can't make yourself, worried sick, Because just like dirt and stains, sugar worries and problems will wash away, now take some breathers before you give yourself an ulcer"

Honey and Eddie: originally when I first made her she was a cousin to Eddie like through their mothers they were related And I still view them as that as my head cannon As you can see they're designs are very slightly similar when you look at them but you can still tell that honey is her own character I've been think they would be very close Because of their work ethic and that they would talk in their countryisms like I like to think they're talk out in public speaking countries and when a random neighbor passes by they're just be so freaking confused about what the hell they were talking about, And they'll just be staring at them like what are they even talking about I also think honey would also make Eddie take breaks because she's worried he's going to pass out or something like and she would always deliver sweets and pastries to his office so he can have energy to keep going throughout the day and she'll always like remind him You better be relaxing or at least come into my bakery for a blonde roast with a bear claw (which is a type of pastry)

"Eddie, You better be taking brakes because if you're tuckered out you'll be just as useful as a sedan chair on a railway So you better rest up and eat them bear claws to give you some energy or come over to my bakery and I treat you to a blonde roast with whatever pastry you like because you deserve a break from all that galavanting around the neighborhood trying to get everyone's mail on time"

Honey and Home: personally honey thinks home is very creepy every time she delivers Wally a baked apple She feels like home is just staring into her soul She sometimes thinks she's maybe overreacting but she just can't shake the feeling that home is always watching her and home senses that too which is why they probably don't like her either but again she always just gets this strange feeling every time she's around home

"I swear every I deliver treats to Wally I just can't shake the feeling that Home is #;&(_#(_!#9&!)_" (that was meant to be a glitch)

(Just a reminder none of that is Canon All this is all head cannons)

Honey and Wally: Honey likes Wally well enough he always is with Barnaby when he comes to the shop and always willing to give Wally a cup of tea and a baked apple She finds it funny that Wally gets confused when he sees an apple pie or an apple turnover, fritter ect So she made it to the point where she makes him a baked apple because it's still in the Apple form just baked So while he won't be confused and can enjoy apple treats even if he doesn't necessarily eat them She does it to make him happy And Wally has made her some art pieces around the shop which she's very grateful for

"Wally how many times do I have to tell you when it comes to making Apple desserts I usually have to cut and peel the apples up so the other neighbors can easily eat them, but for you sugarcube you always get a baked apple So you can enjoy like everyone else in this bakery"

Honey and Howdy: So their relationship is very complicated originally honey was made to be a ship for Howdy in my roleplay which I still do ship them because It holds a special place in my heart and it's just a reminder of how I created Honey That's why it's so special I like to believe that it's all like love-hate between them because they are extremely competitive with each other because their businesses are literally right next to each other So they could be very competitive whether that is seeing how many customers they can serve in a certain amount of time limit or to see how much stock that they can sell Well in this case it's usually bread and pastries store-bought versus fresh bakery made and usually they are very competitive and sometimes they'll even call each other names honey calling him an uncouth con man And how do you making fun of her height or calling her an a northern belle (definition of northern bell: rough diamond. unsophisticated woman. boorish lady.) which usually sets her off but deep down I feel like they really like each other's work ethic because they both work hard and own businesses and they really care about each other no matter how competitive they can get and how much they insult each other and get underneath each other's skin Because none of them takes crap from another she's witty and willing to put Howdy's words back in his mouth

"well Mista Pillar, If I didn't know any better I would say you quite jealous of my shop the fact that people rather buy my baked goods over your overly processed bread and cookies from a factory Well it's not my fault that the neighbors have good taste Darlin' "

Honey and Barnaby: I like to think she like some enough but there are some points of Barnaby that she doesn't really care for for his personality at times she sometimes thinks that he's uncouth and quite rude with some of his jokes but he is a good customer and orders a lots of sweets and sometimes he is nice to talk to you when he's not being a complete jerk with his jokes

"Barn I know you like your jokes hun, but I run a reputable establishment and I will not take any uncouth jokes about my shop as payment I would hate to ban you Mr Beagle especially since you're one of my top customers"

Honey and Frank: I feel like they would be really good friends as well I feel like with Poppy they would all just bake together gossip and have tea and spill the tea like I don't know why I envision this I might even draw this of them just sitting around Poppy's table while baking and just having tea and just gossiping, I also have a feeling that Frank would come to Honey's place stressed out You know whether it's Barnaby the upset them or Howdy not letting them get groceries Because He didn't tell a good joke I have a feeling that honey would give him a friend's discount because she knows that Frank can have trouble with payment jokes and the type of payment that she gets from him is the tea the gossip so she'll be like gossiping and listening to his woes while he drinks a mocha with some custard that she made homemade for him because she knows He loves some custard

"Frank, sugar how many times am I going to tell you if You keep giving that dog so much attention He's just going to keep going You keep egging him on every reaction The more reactions you give him the more power he has over you Just take a deep breath and try to ignore him cuz once he realized that You won't even give him the time of day for a reaction he'll get bored and he'll leave and bother someone else keep that in mind shug"

So that's Honey's relationships with all the neighbors and how I would feel like she would talk to them I am planning on doing this with all my OCs I hope you enjoyed this I had a lot of fun making this and I actually laughed a lot while thinking about how honey would reply to some of the neighbors lol To be honest half of these I want to make comics for but I'm not a good comic maker but one of these days I got to illustrate these interactions lmao And I will say this again none of this stuff is canon this is just how I would think my OC would interact with all the other neighbors

Red Cedar and Rainier sure hit it off at that first rodeo! Rainier’s upbeat attitude was so infectious that it made Cedar a fan of the sport despite her previous disinterest, but most importantly she went to see him more often. He was so fun to be around and could turn even the most sour attitude into sweet summer tea. Just the thought of him made her feel so...warm inside. 

She was in love.

Today’s show was a bit different, though. Instead of coming up to greet her afterwards like always, Rainier asked her to go over to the fence to wait for a surprise. It was so unlike him, but he had a twinkle of excitement in his eye as he asked her to go so it must be something good! Then again, everything felt good with him around. What could he possibly have in store?

Cedar’s ears perked up as she heard the familiar gait of her date approaching her.

The rodeo was like a second home to Rainier and his lasso an extension of his arm. 

Ever since the day he got his cutie mark he didn't feel confused or upset like other colts, he felt like Gaia herself had put this plan together for him and it fit perfectly. He never thought he'd feel that way about anything again.

That was until he met Red Cedar. 

No matter how bad of a day he was having or how stressful practice was or how bad the game was going, seeing her smiling face in the crowd made it all worth it. 

That's why, on this day when he got some of the best news of his life, he wanted to make sure she was the first one to hear it.

He practically sprinted towards her, his hooves kicking up dust as he forced them into the ground below to stop himself from falling into her. All the while holding an envelope in his teeth. 

"How was your day? Might I say you look more beautiful than a sweet red gala apple on a July morning!"

Cedar giggled, her stomach filling up with butterflies at the compliment.

“Even better now that I get to see you! You did great out there, better than a, uh-“

She struggled to come up with a countryism in return.

“-jackrabbit jumping hurdles! Now what’s the news you’re so eager to share?”

He handed her the envelope and waited for her to finish reading it. 

In big bold letters at the top it read- 

Partial Term Contract

-and under that was a bunch of legal jargon and sports jargon that Cedar had never heard before. The gist of it was that he was being offered a summer contract to be a part of the biggest rodeo in Equestria. 

He would live temporarily in Appaloosa, which wasn't too far, just to see how he'd like it.

Knowing how big this was he was honestly more nervous about her reaction, which was clear from the sweat running down his brow.

"I haven't signed it yet. I didn't want to make such a big decision without my..."

He lowered his head shyly, his cheeks flushing red. Yet he couldn't hide the sweet smile on his face. 

"...special somepony."

Cedar blushed as well at his acknowledgment. She couldn’t get over how sweet and considerate he was, always taking her into account in his decisions. He was better than she she could ever ask for.

She read over the contract.

“Oh my gosh, this is such a big opportunity for you! This is what you’ve been dreaming of, isn’t it? You should take it!”

He reached out to gently hold the hoof that didn't have the paper in it, finally showing her his full expression. He looked like a colt who discovered he was getting a puppy on Hearth’s Warming morning. 

"It is what I've been dreaming of but its not the only thing-" 

He pulled her into a surprise hug by her hoof, not an intimate one but the goofy bear hugs he always gave where he'd press his cheek against hers. 

"-it isn't worth leaving my best dream behind for, but if you're okay with it...Well Red Cedar, I'm in love with you. And I think we can make it work." 

Even he was a little embarrassed by how emboldened he was, but that's how he felt about her. She made him want to take risks and do crazy things.

Cedar leaned into his hug and grinned. She was ready for whatever adventure he would take her on.

“I love you too Rainier. You can bet I’ll stick with you every step of the way.”

Desperately wanted draw Cowboy Ingo saying Countryisms

PLA Ingo I imagine is so wise and the other Ingos find him cool and can't believe that could be one of them in the future. But they do not realize he does not remember Emmet. Maybe a doodle for another day

Idk I imagined the Ingos complimenting each other a lot and going bravo at each other.

This Vampire Ingo is specifically the AU where his brother is human and he would usually feed off of him if he doesn't have a blood caprisun on hand.

Tiny Ingo was at aw by the vampire Ingo he forgot to ask for food. The conversation moved on to something else and neglected his needs. He's eating a desert mochi PLA Ingo made for him.

Pale Umber

Personality: Hard working, honest, a little uptight, focused.

Likes: Climbing trees, cute dresses, music, making sculptures from wood, sparring.

Dislikes: Bramble’s laziness, snakes, homesickness, Strawberry Jam (a pony, not the actual jam).

Story;

Pale Umber is the daughter of AppleJack and Rockhoof and twin sister to Orin. Exceptional large even as a baby, Umber shares her parents’ profound strength and values hard work and honesty just as much as AppleJack does. Mostly a serious and focused pony, she doesn't approve of layabouts, like her cousin Bramble and their friend Daisy.

During her pregnancy with the twins, AppleJack was told one twin (Umber) was a lot larger than the other (Orin). Umber was slowly crushing Orin in the womb, which could lead to health problems for the small baby or even death. Knowing this, AppleJack went ahead with the pregnancy and the twins were born via cesarean. Umber had all of her parent’s natural strength and was perfectly healthy but Orin was very weak. The following weeks were touch and go before Orin was allowed to come home, where he developed to be a normal healthy baby. Despite their differing strengths and interests, Umber and Orin were as close as twins could be and grew to always have each other’s back, like true Apple siblings. Growing up, AppleJack was fiercely overprotective of Orin so Umber knew to give Orin space despite her mother insisting she watch him like a hawk when she wasn't around. Although she did once defend Orin from bullies, alongside Bramble, Daisy and their other friend Tornado Rush.

Growing up, Umber never had any interest in apples, despite being trained in apple growing like the rest of the family. She did take hard work to heart though and was always happy to help out, which was why she got so frustrated by her cousin Bramble’s laziness. One day, while out in the market with her mother and brother, they stopped by a now elderly Burnt Oak’s stall. Umber was fascinated by Oak’s woodcutting and asked him a million questions about it, much to the old stallion’s amusement and delight. Umber later begged her mother to ask Oak to teach her about woodcutting but AppleJack was hesitant, unsure if she wanted one of her kids to handle an axe so young and she was already constantly worried about Orin. It was only until Applebloom (who saw this as a cutie mark potential) encouraged her that AppleJack finally said yes. Oak was more than happy to take Umber as his apprentice, both as a chance to reconnect with the Apples more often and to pass on his passion to a younger pony. Training was tough and hard work but Umber loved every minute of it, even more so when she gained her cutie mark at age seven.

In the same year Umber got her Cutie Mark, Daisy was taken by Tirek and Cozy Glow so the foals hatched a plan to rescue her without their kin knowing. Pale Umber’s part of the plan was to carry a still caged Daisy to safety per Bright Eyes’ order but Tirek caught them before she could. The mission did not go according to plan but in the end, everyone was safe but totally grounded.

As life went on, Umber continued her training until she was a professional lumber worker at the age of nineteen. Around the same time, Orin decided to move to Manehatten to study Fine Art in Textiles. For the first few weeks, Umber missed him horribly but his frequent letters always cheered her up.

In the current timeline, Umber is Ponyville’s resident lumber worker, cutting down and clearing rotten trees on her family’s orchard and beyond as well as creating wooden sculptures for fun. She still lives at Sweet Apple Aches but in her own little hut which she rents from the family. Umber also has an ongoing rivalry with Strawberry Jam, Flim and and Flam’s adopted niece.

Bits and Pieces;

Umber is an early riser, though not because of work. She needs to in order to braid her hair and tail everyday (don’t ask me how she does it without a horn or digits, all I can say is she just can).

Umber is terrified of snakes, despite her great strength. Because of this, she never visits Ace and Bramble’s house since Ace has a pet snake.

Umber is very close to Orin and they often have each other’s backs.

She also has a small heard of pet guinea pigs, who live in a pen in the barn.

Umber is generally very tomboy-ish. However, unlike AppleJack, Umber loves dressing in fine fashion and beautiful dresses. She always goes to Rarity for advice before a big event that requires fancy wear.

Despite their differing body types, both she and her brother have endless stomachs and are almost always hungry.

While both twins have the typical Apple family accent, Umber inherited AppleJack’s countryisms.

Both Umber and Orin took fighting and duelling lessons from their father (though in Orin’s case, behind their mother’s back) and they can hold a pretty good fight on their own.

Even as a adult, Umber gets terribly homesick when she’s not in Ponyville or Sweet Apple Aches for more than a couple of days so she's not the best traveller.

Umber was teased restlessly as a teen for being so large and muscular but she had none of her brother’s self confidence issues so she was able to ignore them. It didn't stop Orin from aggressively confronting her bullies though.

On their nineteenth birthday, Orin gifted Umber her very own plaid jacket which he made himself. It is her most prized possession and, despite wearing it nearly every day, it has yet to completely wear out.

Like Ace, Umber was also hesitant about the secret rescue mission to save Daisy but finally agreed to look out for Orin and knowing that her strength would be an advantage.
