i’m curious to know what ur theories are omg!! (on why ney left) but yes, we’ll truly never know it really did seem to come out of nowhere

Okay we’ll start off with my most probable theory:

1) the PSG game. Oh the Barca v. PSG comeback game. The Remontada. That game still makes me sick lol. It was a spectacular game. Arguably one of, if not, the biggest comeback in UCL history. Leo scored a penalty, but Neymar was the true genius of the game. Neymar scored an amazing free kick and penalty (which it’s so interesting that he took them too btw when normally Leo would take them). And he also provided the amazing assist to Sergio Roberto in literally the last minute to secure the win. However, that one photo of Leo went VIRALLLLL and he seemed to be getting all of the credit for the game. Part of me thinks that really pissed Neymar off, and he was literally in his prime if not getting to be there, and maybe he realized the only way to prove his greatness was to get out of a club with Lionel Messi there. So while he truly did love Leo as a person/teammate/idol, he was the one person standing in his way to achieving ultimate greatness. I think in the beginning he was truly about the team mentality and wanting to help Leo be the best (he literally said that in his debut), but Neymar isn’t the type of person to only strive to be that. He wants to the best (he’s always been quoted saying this too lol), and he wants to WIN. Him being the leader? Even better. If this was the reason, I don’t really blame him too much. I wish he never left, but underappreciation can really drive someone up a wall.

2) there is a chance that this move could’ve been prompted even earlier than when Neymar had left. Dani Alves joined PSG in 2017, and it was no surprise that he had urged Neymar to join him. He was even quoted once saying that the only way for Neymar to be the greatest was to get out of Leo’s shadow at Barca. I’m not saying he instilled the idea into his brain, but it seems like he was thinking what some other people were too.

3) the money. €222 million buy out clause is insane, and the wages PSG was paying Neymar was out of this world. Literally his move broke the market. There’s a chance that maybe that’s why he left (although I doubt it. Mans was making enough) unlesssssss his father had something to do with it.

4) the father. While Neymar’s dad said he never wanted Neymar to leave Barcelona, there’s a part of me that thinks that maybe he helped push the decision. He could’ve either wanted it for money, orrrrr there’s a chance that he could’ve pushed the idea into Neymar’s head that he needed to be the greatest. Potential constant comparisons between him and other players that made him feel like he wasn’t good enough. That he had to leave and bring a team to its first UCL to prove his worth. I’m not sure.

5) this is my delusional ass fanfic ass brain that should be taken LIGHTLY. But Neymar announcing for the first time he was thinking of leaving Barca for PSG at Leo’s wedding??? Um??? Who does that? At a wedding? At Leo’s wedding?? It’s interesting is it not? And the Instagram pictures he posted of the wedding afterwards and the caption… it was just iffy and unusual to me. Maybe the pain of staying would’ve been too much. I don’t know. (AGAIN TAKE THIS VERY LIGHTLY THERE IS A REASON WHY IT IS NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THIS LIST 😭😭 — delulu brain over here okay I am claiming absolutely nothing) Also, around this time Leo was getting REALLY close to Suarez. I wonder if Neymar felt abandoned somehow and that also made him want to leave too.

6) maybe he just didn’t believe in the team that much anymore? The 16/17 season was really bad in comparison to the prior one. Maybe he foresaw Barca’s downfall and wanted to get out before his reputation could’ve been ruined because of it.

Anyways these are all my dumb little theories. Take them with a grain of salt. I don’t know anything nor claim to know anything. But these are the best theories my brain could conjure up 🤷‍♀️

It's clear that Neymar is back with Bruna B nowadays because he's been wearing a ring on his left hand. I want to know your thoughts about their relationship.

And since I asked your opinion, may I also put mine?

Idk why, but tbh, It feels not right. About they're getting back together. And for the nth time, I don't try to gain or spread hatred here. I only really want to know your opinion.

Because for me, Ney and BB seem fake their love(?) It just seems off and strange in some way(?) Idk how to explain this.

A few times, I really wish for Ney to get back together with Carol because she looks more genuine, elegant and not an attention seeker. But we also know how this is ridiculously dumb since Carol is already married and have a wonderful family.

With BB, I think Ney's sex needs are fulfilled. While BB gets fame and money. Thus, he's known for his unconditional love for Marq back then. And I know that maybe I'm being delusional, but if you take a better look, BB is trying hard to look like BM and this is really not right. BB used to be pretty by looking like herself, she used to look pretty in her old Instagram-tagged photos. But recently, her filler and surgery are too much till really overwhelmed and fake at some points.

I just hope if they're faking their relationship just because they're used to being like this, I hope they will be separated for both own goods.

I really wish for Ney to be settled in his own family, built by the foundation of love and values, within people who treasure and value him as Neymar da Silva Santos Jr, not only for getting into his money/fame/else like his present environment.

When he said Messi is his idol, somehow I wish for him to learn from Messi. Not only in terms of football but also in a life lesson.

So he can choose a better circle who really value him as a friend and not only to dip into some of his fame. Hahah. I also hope to see him getting married, to someone that is not an attention seeker, the one who's like Carol/Anto, and seeing MSN having a good holiday together. LOL

Because sometimes, it's just sad you know to be him.

One time he was that good. He's guaranteed as a future player in his prime for the talent he had, but in an instant, he ruined it by moving into another club for money. Right now, not only his career in football that is ruined but his love life is also ruined. As if everything is never right, from having a greedy father to having an "I'm sorry" quite fake fiancée. Even for friends, the only genuine is some of his National Team, Messi, Suarez, some of his mate in Barca, Paredes, Veratti, and some in PSG.

I don't know whether he's aware or not but sometimes, I saw him realise this fake and failed world around him, but in the end, since this is the life he used to live, he's okay with that since getting used to it.

I read on some website, that during his last surgery, BB left him for Brazil since she also has a life and dogs that need to be taken care of, so Nadine is the one who takes care of him and Ney also paid for BB's father's taxes(?) IDK if it's real or not. I know that I don't have any rights to this matter. It's just sometimes, all of this feels unfair. Hehe

Lastly, I hope we all can take a neutral opinion on this. I have no intention of hating anyone here. I only want to know the thought of some other Neymar fans.

i guess i'll have to apologize to you, because i probably won't be able to give the answer i'd like. it may sound ironic, but i hardly follow ney's dating b.b., i basically only see some news when they are everywhere (example: this supposed pregnancy), so i don't feel i have enough repertoire to have an opinion about their relationship.

life is much more than photos on insta or news in tabloids, so I have no way to affirm if what they have is true since I'm not present in their intimate moments or daily routine.

about carol, i particularly love the fact that both she and ney managed to have the maturity to form a family even without being a couple thinking about davi's well being. they are friends, they are a family and they work well that way!

and obviously, i would love for MSN to spend their vacations together, to have "a similar social life", that they could fill us with pictures with their children and wives, but i think it is also important to understand that this is a decision that is up to neymar himself. i also don't like his father, i believe that many bad decisions that ney made were due to his father's influence, but he is already a grown man and it's time to take the reins of his own life.

this is probably not the answer you would like, i apologize for that, by the way! but my point is, as much as ney has leo in his life and gets good advice, as much as he has us, his fans, trying to protect him, he is a 31 year old man. he is not a child anymore. he has to start deciding which people are good for him.

Same anon! First off thank you for not jumping me 💀 people tend to aim for the jugular every time I mention Messi or Neymar so thank you!! To be fair I don't usually recall this kind of interaction either I don't think it was shown on camera the moment where Messi got mad at Hugo the other day. But yes I agree with you on the cavani topic! I think Neymar is still burnt out from the WC definitely, he made quite a few uncharacteristic mistakes yesterday (especially when he tried to go out of his way to play lower on the pitch, which in and of itself is a defence issue). Also interesting to see how fast the speed of the game switched as soon as Hakimi and Mbappe walking in, they really have a talent for it that affects the whole dynamic, so I'm really not sure keeping them both on the bench at the same time is a good tactic lol

sladkfna no problem i know people can get so mad when you mention messi or neymar but no one is exempt from criticism here! neymar and messi often have to go back and bail the defence and midfield and then end up playing most of the match further back rather than up front where they are needed but that is def a defence/midfield problem which is its own discussion 😵‍💫 like going back every now and then is normal but the amount they have to really hurts our attack.. the pace of the game did change for the better when hakimi and mbappe came but i have also noticed that hakimi seems to only have eyes for mbappe when sometime there are better options 🫣 i dont remember it always being like that though...overall its like they arent playing as a team anymore idk when the season began i was so excited to see how well they were playing together and now theyre back to same old psg bs but now its almost worse because we've seen how good they can play together and they should be getting better and yet here we are ! they are playing almost like how they play when we get knocked out of the champions league but that hasnt happened yet so my only guess is wc burnout or something idk

I wrote a long rant a day after the controversy with Cavani. I havent posted it on here - only showed it to one person on here - but some things I wrote you also pointed out.

1. Indeed we all know Neymar went to PSG to be a leader and not play second fiddle to Cavani. He learned from the best and decided it was his time to lead. He won’t play under a player like Cavani who talent wise/potential doesn’t come close to Ney.

2. Again: I think the main problem is that both players though they would be responsible for the freekicks/penalties. I can’t remember if Cavani also took all the free kicks in the other matches? (for some reason I think no but I have no idea).

¾: The problem here lies with the coach for me. You can say he’s a new player in the team he should know his place, but he didnt came to PSG to know his place and work his way to the top. He came to PSG because he IS the top and they want to get to the European top. Emery should have known Cavani wanted to be the no1 still and it was clear what Neymar wants to be. If the little incident - that didnt blow up - against St. Etienne, but even after Lyon he couldnt act like a coach and leader and tell the press they will discuss who is the penalty takes…

I like Unai. Don’t get me wrong. What he did with Sevilla was amazing, but at PSG he’s getting exposed. I know it’s not an easy task if you have two players with this talent act liker this, but step up.

5. That’s the most dangerous thing with Ney: agreeing with him just to keep him happy. That’s why I always will find his transfer to PSG dangerous because I think with his personality he also needs someone who tells him the truth from time to time. Who tells him when he’s being a brat, when he should stfu and man up. Dani is annoying me since he left Juve the way he did so I won’t comment on him (since it won’t be good haha). But it’s bs to say Marquinhos is annoyed by him. I see him even more with Marquinhos than with Dani tbh (I love Marquinhos btw. What a sweetheart). Maybe Moura can secretly be annoyed by his arrival since PSG has to get rid of a few players and he’s one of them.

6. These full quotes always amaze me and - after this whole PSG transfer sage - I know not to believe them tbh.

7. That would mean Ney would think instead of acting immediately and - with all due respect to my hotheaded munchkin - he doesn’t so that in the moment. Also one of his biggest weakness but also what makes him world class. He doesn’t think when he’s on the field and just does what comes to mind. With the ball that’s good without it, it’s dangerous and it showed us manny times it can be (in the past also).

To be honest it’s weird for me because I dont give af about PSG, but I care about Ney. So I can’t think in only Ney’s interest since I know he needs this team to achieve his goals with them… Normally - like most of the other football fans - I would have laughed at all these troubles for a buying team like PSG, but when you’re fave plays for them it’s like you wanna laugh, and you laugh, but then you realize Ney is in this mess too…

PSG has a lot of problems to be honest and I don’t know how Bayern is doing - probably amazing - but they have more thing to worry about other than this incident. The fact is also that they are - even with all these buys - play very badly, slow tempo, wrong passes and with some players who don’t even deserve to be on the team. They have much work cut out for them even without this shit. And all eyes will be on them more then ever and most people outside of France hope they will fail.

1. Why did you choose your url ?

I wanted an url related to Mbappé as he is my favourite player and it was around the time french twitter was calling Neymar "le roi" (the king) and I liked the idea. I wanted to do something like that for Kylian by calling him a prince but king sounded better with his name. Also the national team calls him Kyks and it's a surname he seems to like as he uses it sometimes. So, voilà.

But tbf I'm not fully satisfied with it because I don't like how there are three K is there 💀 but I don't have the strength/inspiration to change it.

3. How long have you been on tumblr ?

I think I created it around 2013 because the 1D gifs that were shared on twitter didn't look right if you didn't have a tumblr account and you were opening them on google. But I didn't use it at the time.

I started using it when it became a football account at the end of 2018 I think ?? Or was it at the end of 2019 ? I can't remember.

4. Do you have a queue tag ?

No, I don't.

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place ?

I wanted to talk about football with someone. Because no matter how sweet and patient my bestfriend was she didn't care lol. But bless her because she still listened and reacted to everything.

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp ?

Because it's Kylian and I love the casual pictures when they're not playing football or posing for a picture. I like that the picture is a bit random and he looks lost and it's funny to me.

But I kinda want to change it. I'm thinking about changing it for a picture of Kylian and Ousmane for the Euro.

7. Why did you choose your header ?

I wanted something related to psg and I love the colours. I also love the caption psg posted with it, something like "the show is about to start" or "the show must go on" or something like that. And I like that it showed Kim and Keylor, two people very important for the club. Also, again, it's a bit of a random picture. They're not playing nor posing. I like it.

That being said, I'm probably gonna change it when I'll change my icon. We're adapting to the Euro vibes 🥐🥖

8. What’s your post with the most notes ?

The first one that went over 100 notes (or at least 90 something) was a picture of Kylian baking for his sponsor goodgoût.

And more recently I posted a video of Kylian during the barça game where he dribbled three players Messi included and it went over 100 notes too and it's funny because a dozen people were reblogging it saying "I don't even watch football but it looks so good"

I don't know ?? I have had a conversation with around 20 people since I'm active I think ? And I guess most of them follow me back.

87 which isn't a lot. Also I think some of them aren't active. But usually I follow back every football's account when they're active and not supporting a club I dislike (meaning a club who beat psg at some point)

I had arguments with anons but that's it. When I really disagree with someone I unfollow them. I hate confrontation lol.

I'm sorry but is it bad that I don't want Messi to go back to barca. Firstly I hate how they treated him towards the last few years and I know he's gonna get blamed if they lose. And we know barca is like family now so if something happens Messi will get blamed for it.

I hate psg with all my heart. Specially the ultras. And the coaching staff because they don't know how to use Messi's talent not to mention players ignore him on the pitch and don't understand his style of playing. All of this would be solved if he returns to barca but I just don't want him to get a bad name at Barca. He left as a legend and will always be the clubs best player. I wish his last days at the club was different but somehow I don't want him to return. The way they treated him makes me so angry. He didn't deserve it.

Part of me still hopes something magical happens and psg get a good team with an actual coach and NeyMessi wins an ucl together next year. I know it's a long shot. If psg doesn't change then I don't want either of them wasting their time there. Anyhow it's Messi's last few years and he has literally completed football and he also said he want to enjoy the time he has left. So I want him to play for a club he enjoys without getting blamed. My wish is man city with pep. But we all know barca is his home..

With Barca, I would be so ecstatic. It is definitely his home and I would love him to link up w new players or reunite with old ones. But ofc there is a fear ab his re-integration in the team, and I would absolutely deplore if he went back and it didn’t work out and he gets blamed. My dumb self says that he could go back now and then Neymar could join him in like 2 years but… I don’t really know if I see that happening. Again my delusional brain would be so amazed if they could close the chapter on another CL win together.

For PSG, I’m highkey in my neymessi feels rn lol. I know they’ll be friends for life and all that stuff, but I really wanted their chapter to close on a high note. So, there’s a selfish part of me that wouldn’t be mad if he stayed bc of neymessi, but also a better coach and better players would also need to be figured out. But in the back of my head just knowing how the psg ultras treat him… they see him as “Messi” who is supposed to be the greatest and should bring them to CL and win every game bc he’s him, instead of “Leo” — the actual person behind the big name and status he was given.

And for city, I would love him to be reunited with pep! And juli!! Plus I think it would be funny to see how he’d interact w the other players on the team bc they seem so goofy. Idk how he’d fit in there, but the team definitely has a good flow and ik Pep would be able to figure something out.
