just out here reminding myself that the core of my belief system is faith in the human story
#because goddamn if i lose that i've lost it all#actually though#it's been hard#the government continues to disappoint me#but people like the student protesters in uni encampments give me so much faith#and the artisits of the world#and the people who are just fucking kind because if they can be one thing they choose to be kind#those people give me hope#they remind me why i love humanity#they remind me why even when the shittiest scum bags alive do the most abhorrent things#there is still hope#there is still love and softness and fierce defense of our fellow people#there is still reason to believe#we are alive#i am alive#and i refuse to live a live without faith in our collective story#personal#sorry just being sappy on main don't mind me
