Well here we are at the end. It feels incredibly weird and surreal that this is the last time I'll be doing a reaction post after an episode. I think it will really sink in months from now when the show really doesn't come back but honestly I'm feeling so many different emotions right now and it's because of the episode and also just because of knowing this is the last of everything.

I feel like this finale episode really summed up my whole experience with this show. They'll do some things really well and some things that really just make you question why on earth did they think that was the right choice. Stuff that makes you so frustrated because they just get in their own way and could be doing things that isn't wasting the potential of real magic.

It feels like Maya and Carina were never able to really shine and be highlighted in the way they could have been. They shied away from the true chemistry and connection and love story that they had instead of embracing it. As soon as they would get some focus, they had to give it to someone else or insert someone else into the storyline. It was like they couldn't give the queer women too much for whatever reason. This has been a pattern since their relationship started so I'm sadly not surprised it ended the same way.

I get they had a lot to fit in so I wasn't expecting everything to happen like I envisioned. But they really didn't pay off the cliffhanger in any way. All this speculation about Maya quitting her job, all this worry about how she'd be freaking out about being near death and realizing she could lose the family that she finally has, all these possibilities about her getting injured, having some smoke inhalation, Carina being worried tat she'd have to raise their children alone and practically none of it gets addressed? Carina doesn't even find out that Maya was in that situation? We don't get to see them hug in relief as soon as they see each other? Maya doesn't even make a comment about how she thought she was going to die and lose everything she finally has? Again, didn't expect all of this, but not even a little of it?

And then instead of Maya being the one to collapse from smoke inhalation after being surrounded by an insane amount of flames, it's Andy...because of course Andy would have to be the focus. She's Captain, it's her station, they all had to come together to rally around her. Because it was already too much for them to worry about Maya for the first two minutes of the episode. We couldn't have Carina even come across Maya while she was in the field (what exactly was the point of that then? Delivering babies is a Maya and Carina thing)

I enjoyed the scene of Carina telling Maya she was pregnant. I love that it paralleled their proposal scene and we got the great camera spinning kiss like in 4x14. But again it's like we just have to be satisfied with the bare minimum and that's it. That was our only glimpse really of present Marina in the last episode. The way they did the flashforward scenes was super confusing and choppy in my opinion, not really knowing if it was the real thing at first or just what these characters were envisioning. (And don't get me started on how Maya and Carina's visions only included becoming mothers).

I don't know how to feel about Maya being Captain of 19 again honestly. Andy being Chief was...an interesting twist because I wasn't expecting that either but it always felt like 19 was Andy's station so why did they get away from that already? The whole series led up to that moment. Why couldn't Maya have her own station? I do love that her shirt had Deluca-Bishop on it though.

Will always be grateful that the show gave us Maya and Carina. What Danielle and Stefania did with these characters both separately and together will always be special. But part of me will also always feel a little sad and bitter about what could have been if they really embraced Marina as the main couple of the show and didn't let double standards get in the way and just let them be the bisexual loving wives that they are. So many missed opportunities and it's a shame.

Cards slap onto the table in front of you.

Barrett’s looking very pleased with himself. “That’s it, I’ve got 19.”

Sam is slow to put his own cards on the table. “Hang on there, friend.” His hand shows 20.

“You’re kidding! Again?” You’re damn near ready to eat your shoe at this point after losing so many times to him.

His grin is devilish. “Afraid so.” He looks to the pile in the middle of the table, some money and other various items are collected there. “Which means…”

“I do not have any more money to give you, Sam.” Andreja grumbles throwing her cards.

It makes Sam chuckle, even as he’s sliding the jackpot over to his side. “Doesn’t have to be money. I’ll take guns, ammo, drinks, the keys to your starship—”

“Uh oh. I see where this is going.” Barrett laughs out.

You’re laughing with him. “Somebody’s in the market for a new ship.”

“Not new.” Sam corrects, “To be more specific, yours, darlin’.”

Your face heats up to a scarlet red. Scoffing, you’re trying to play it off as Barrett giggles and Andreja grins teasingly. A sip of your iced drink isn’t enough to cool you down. “No clue why you’d want mine, you practically live on it already.”

It makes Sam grin even more. Something playful dances in his eyes. “Nothing would really change. You’d just be flying my ship.”

“Oh, I get it. Constant reminders that it belongs to you. Your ship, your rules kinda deal?”

“Something like that.”

Andreja leans over. “Please do not bet your ship, I could not live with the constant remarks he would make.”

“I have no intention of betting my baby.”

“Well then,” Sam starts, shuffling the card deck again, “What are you betting with, Captain?”

Carefully, with all eyes on you, “I bet…a full paid, one month vacation, to Paradiso.”

Everyone’s eyes light up. “Is that so? Small fortune you’re offering there.”

“I’m going to regret this, I know it.”

Sam starts dealing the cards again. “Counteroffer.”

“Go on…”

“Let’s forget money—”

You snort. “Let’s forget money, yeah, right after you run us dry.”

Andreja joins in, crossing her arms. “He forgets he is outnumbered.”

“No, no—” He holds up a hand. “I’m fully aware. My counteroffer is we forget about money and instead, losing hands take shots.” His eyes meet yours, there’s a glint to them.

“Take shots at your head?” Andreja leans in, one hand moving to her hip.

Barrett’s holding his stomach as he laughs. “Andreja, try not to be such a sore loser.”

“I am not a ‘sore loser’!”

You take a sip, still holding Sam’s playful eyes. “I like it. Let’s do it.”

Sam leans back, victorious. “The captain says yes. So, are you two in?”

Barret looks upstairs to Constellation’s bar. “Sure. Why not. I’ll get the shot glasses.”

Andreja snorts. “You are all signing your death warrant. No one can out drink me.”

She joins Barrett as he leaves, mumbling about getting the good liquor. Sam stays busy shuffling cards. “I’m surprised you agreed so quickly, given your tolerance for drinking.”

“If you’re referring to that one time on NEON, I’ve learned my lesson, thank you.”

“Oh, have you now?”

“Yes, and I’m very confident I’ll have my full memory at the end of tonight.”

His voice tilts, teasingly. “We’ll see. I’ve been going easy on you.”

“You’ve been going easy? How is that possible? And how are you so good at blackjack?”

“I was raised in Akila, what do you think we do all day?”

“Fair point.” You lean in, eyes narrowing playfully. “Maybe I’ll step up my game too.”

“You’ve got game now?”

“I’ve always had game!”

“That’s surprising, considering you’ve lost almost—”

You shift, trying to kick his leg under the table. He laughs, skillfully dodging and fighting back. You’re both reduced to kicking and fits of laughter.

Sam catches your leg in between his feet. “How about you come over and sit next to me? Don’t want you falling out of your chair after two shots.”

Your brows pinch, stubbornly. “How about—” you attempt to pull your leg free “—you come over—” He lets your leg go and you fall back, chair legs lifting off the ground. Your hands fly out trying to gain balance. He laughs so hard he almost keels over. You’re laughing and grinning too. “Shut up!”

Andreja and Barrett are back, drinks and glasses in hand. Her usual scowl is in place. “Please get a room, you two.”

“Andreja—” Barrett lightly scolds, as he sets the shot glasses down, “Let them have their fun. Just because your heart is cold and dead—”

“My heart is neither cold nor dead!”

You’re smiling, holding your shot glass out for Sam as he unscrews the liquor cap. “She just needs a stiff drink.”

Sam is grinning, topping off the shots. “She’ll get one. I’m done going easy on you all.”

“Alright, cowboy. Square up.”

“Jesus Christ, please, no more!” Your head hangs in your hands, insides churning. You’re not even drunk, the liquor just feels like a brick in your stomach. Sam is refilling your shot glass.

“Aww, what happened to all that talk about having game, Captain?” He coos from across the table.

Andreja takes her shot like a champ. “I will volunteer to take the captain’s drink, if—”

Barrett sways as he holds a hand out. “Noopee, that’s not how it works.”

“I might be willing to make an exception.” Sam says, leaning back in his chair with a smirk. Out of the whole night, he’s only taken a few shots.

You sigh in defeat. “Name it.”

“Next round, if you lose, you have to do a dare from the winning hand. Which, will most likely be me.” He adds with a smirk.

“Easy. Bring it. Just don’t make me drink any more of that motor oil.”

Andreja scoffs. “Motor oil? This is one of House Va’ruun’s finest liquors, made from plants grown in complete darkness.”

“Motor oil.” You say in near perfect sync with Sam and Barrett.

The round is played, Sam grins like a fool the whole time, right up until…

“21…”

All eyes turn to Barrett. “Which means I win? Yeah—I win! Ha!” He holds his arms up, face red from the alcohol.

Sam lays his cards out in defeat. Only slightly pouting. “Alright Barrett. Andreja and I will take our shots, and you have to come up with a dare for the captain.”

Barrett doesn’t take long to blurt it out. “I want the captain to give each one of us a kiss.”

Sam chokes, mid shot. Thumping his chest to get it down the rest of the way. Andreja looks at Barrett, horrified, paused with the glass at her lips.

She’s quick to stammer out, “W-well that is up to the captain, if they consent—I would not be opposed to…I mean, it is up to them.”

Barrett turns drunkenly to face you, “Whaddya say, cap?”

A quick glance at Sam, who watches you carefully, and your mind is made up. “Fuck it, let’s go. Come ‘ere, Barrett.”

You lean over holding Barrett’s face in your hands. The man looks more than a little intimidated. At the last second you twist his face to the side and kiss his cheek roughly, smiling and laughing as he giggles and squirms.

Andreja is more relaxed, no doubt thinking she’d get the same treatment, as you turn to face her. Your hands find her shoulders and hold her still. Just as she raises a brow at you, you’re pressing your lips to hers.

It’s relatively quick, only a few seconds long, but as you separate you feel her almost chase after you. She corrects this by clearing her throat and pouring herself a shot.

When you turn to Sam, across the table, he’s wide-eyed.

Getting up from your chair, you’re rounding to his side, slowly, grinning. The look in his eyes gives his feelings away. He’s torn between nervousness and anticipation. Hands gripping his jeans.

Like a cat closing in on a bird, you stalk closer toward him. His chest is rising and falling faster. Standing above him, Sam watches you from his chair.

Putting a hand on the back, you lean in closer. “You ready, cowboy?”

“Whenever you are, darlin’.”

In a rare move of confidence, your hand finds its way to his chin. Gently pulling his face to yours. This wasn’t like kissing Andreja, it was deeper. Slower. You took your time and enjoyed it. Noses nudging together. The soft tickle of his beard on your face. It was heaven.

There was a low whistle from Barrett across the table. You meant to pull away, suddenly aware that others were watching, and you had been kissing maybe a little too long for just a dare, but Sam held you in place with a hand at the back of your neck. He took off his hat and used it as a curtain, giving you two a little privacy as he kept kissing you earnestly. When you giggled, you could feel him smile into the kiss.

Maybe it was a minute. Maybe it was five minutes. But when you noticed the lack of noise from the table, you broke the kiss to look up. Both Andreja and Barrett were gone.

Sam’s gentle, kneading hand made its way to your hip. He pulled slightly, either trying to get your attention or bring you back in. “Looks like the game’s over.”

“So it is.”

He tugs at you a little. “You, uh, wanna take this upstairs—or maybe back to the ship?”

You lean in, pressing a quick kiss to his lips, whispering against them, just lightly teasing. “You’re gonna have to work a little harder for that.”

Pulling away, you can feel his fingers grasping at your clothes. A silent plea to stay. “What? What do you—work harder?”

You’re walking off now, grinning. “Oh, you heard me. You’ll have to get more creative than using a dare.”

Sam’s stubborn voice follows you. “Ok, maybe I will. Just wait until I turn the charm on—give you a good smolder.”

“Good luck!”

Congratulation...Captain?

Chap 5

AN: Finally a twist in this chapter, and lots of sweet fluff. LOVE the dance music <3 enjoy <3

"She did it. She'll need some rehab, but there shouldn't be any nerve damage," Dr. Grey says in a calm tone and goes to Andy. "She's in the recovery room. You're welcome to stay with her until she wakes up. Y/N will certainly need someone after this terrible accident."

Andy just nods in relief and the others rejoice, hugging each other and Vic pats Andy on the shoulder. A chair is free at your bedside and the anesthetic is still working so you don't notice anything.

Andy pauses for a moment and just stands by your bed. "I don't know if I can take any more...." She looks at you wistfully and guiltily. She slowly gives you a delicate kiss on the lips and then leaves the room.

Four weeks have passed since then and you have recovered well after the operation.

"gingle bells, gingle bells...." Vic is dancing crazy in the beanery. "tomorrow is Christmas and everything is so beautifully decorated. i can already smell the roast in my nose." Vic says and Travis smiles. Everyone is getting ready for the party at the Barn. You are there for a visit and look around happily, almost ready for work you take a deep breath. "this is.....wow. bloody really colorful everywhere here!" Your eyes light up. Andy is in the office finishing off the last few documents.

When she has finished, she enters the hugely decorated hall. With her hands in her pockets, she looks at you intensely, which you don't notice at first. Everyone else goes up to you and gives you a big hug, happy that you're feeling better again. Only Andy keeps her distance, biting her lower lip. "Is she okay?" you ask and Vic looks at Warren and Travis. "She just seems to be worried that everything is okay with you," Vic says and everyone looks at Andy. "You should have seen her, she went crazy when you were hurt so badly" Travis says without thinking and Vic nudges him with a warning look.

Your gaze slightly surprised, you look at her and see Andy leaving the Barn to go to her bunk.

The next day, when the party has started, Andy stands in the middle of the packed hall and smiles forcibly. "19....I'm glad we can be together here today. it's been a...crazy year. I'm grateful to finally be captain and will of course do everything I can to keep our family here together. Have a nice celebration and enjoy yourselves..."

Everyone applauds and a Christmassy atmosphere spreads. Andy leaves the crowd and packs up her things for the next two days off. This doesn't go unnoticed as you enter the changing room and approach her. "You want to...go? The party's only just started" she continues packing. "Yes, the people are all there with their families. I have no business being there. I have no one else, so why stay. my beer is waiting for me at home." You block her way. "what nonsense. the whole 19 is your family, you just said!"

"I.... have no one left...I lost my father, my best friend...had lost my station for over a year...had to go through a divorce and-....." She stops and picks up her bag. "If something's wrong, I'm home..."

You look after her anxiously as she leaves the fire station. Back home, Andy grabs some food and two beers from the fridge. Snuggled up comfortably on the couch she was about to fall asleep when a doorbell suddenly jolts her out of her half-sleep.

She looks confused, gets up, looks through the peephole and opens the door.

"I can...I want to be your family if you let me. I don't want to argue anymore, I want to see you smile. I want to rekindle your passion at work and accompany you to sleep every night as if it were our last. Defend you when there are differences of opinion and stand by you what ever the future will bring. I don't care about your status...or my rank. I want to be with you and wanna make you happy....Andy...I love you!" You look at her, completely out of breath, when Andy suddenly runs up to you, takes your face in her hands and kisses you.

You smile under the kiss than break it off only to kiss Andy more ardent....Stumbling backwards and closing the door, you continue kissing full of greed.

Soft moonlight makes both of you appear in a silouhette, emphasizing the passion as you both undress. You get goose bumps with every single touch, kisses on your neck, throat and stomach.

Andy doesn't miss any part of your body and is particularly provocative on your chest and hips. She tickles you with her tongue and makes you moan so sweetly. You grab her shoulders and turn her so that she lies submissively beneath you. Her look is a little surprised, but full of love. Now it's you who is spoiling her. But your style is more aggressive, more lustful. You don't stop until she reaches her climax and you hear her moan loudly for the first time full of passion and love. Neither of you even thinks about stopping, which is why you don't even notice that it's already getting light and the first rays of sun are shining on your sweaty bodies.

Completely exhausted, you both cuddled up together. "you are so beautiful....belleza" (beauty) you whisper quietly to her.

"I don't want to lose you..." Andy smiles sweet but gets tears in her eyes. "You won't..." you stroke her cheek gently.

"I've already lost too much..." one of her tears rolls down and you wipe it away. "I promise I'll always take care of myself" You kiss her soft lips gently.

"I was in the hospital...I was so worried about you. I didn't want to show it, especially not in front of the others. I'm the captain..." She snuggles closer to you.

"Just because you're captain doesn't mean you should be emotionless. Let it out and be fine......So! I'll make us breakfast now and you'll go take a shower in the meantime. I'll come after you." You get up and wink at her. "You know that we have to stay discreet at work. It's best to keep the whole thing to ourselves...for now" Andy said as she stands up and stands directly in front of you. Naked. She walks past you perfectly absolutely beautifull and disappears into her bathroom with a seductive smile.

You bite your bottom lip and almost trip over your bag as you watch her go. "Damn" you smile and quickly get some food ready and then join her in the shower.

After the days off with Andy, you go back to work fresh. When you arrive at the beanery, you dance to the music and start making breakfast, not noticing Andy watching you.

"Hola hermosa! muéstrame!" (hello beauty! show it to me!) You are frightened but have to laugh, Andy does the same and moves with you to the music in the same rhythm, which turns into a hot dance.

When it turns out that Andy is much better, you grab her by her waist and let her dance around you, looking at each other in total love with so much fire, without noticing that the others have already arrived and are watching you.

Vic immediately feels carried away and starts dancing next to Travis, while Travis stands there looking goofy and his gaze switches between both of you and Vic. Warren clears his throat conspicuously and you both stop your movements, but immediately start laughing when you see everyone. "haha sorry guys, that's what happens when you've had too long of a break from work"

Travis blinks a few times and laughs cautiously. "of course...you look definitely in love haha"

Both: "What?"

Travis: "What?"

Everyone looks at each other and has to smile embarrassed, only Robert's eyes are focused on Andy.

"No tienen idea" (they have no idea) ,Andy laughs. "Qué... qué tan sexy estás?" (what?...that you're looking hot?) you look at Andy seductively and let your gaze wander over her for a long time until you go to the table to eat breakfast

Robert sits across to Andy and keeps looking into her eyes, which almost intimidates her at times. "Qué pasa? Tienes algún problema!? (what? Do you have a problem?) andy ask almost angry and the others starting to stare.

"Entonces están juntos?" (you both are together?) Robert doesn't let himself be disturbed and continue to eat his breakfast. Andy looks at him perplexed and shakes her head slightly in disrepect.

"No sabía que era asunto tuyo" (non of your business) Andy throws her spoon into her cereal bowl.

"Guys, if something is up then let's share it...or clarify it somewhere else" Vic looks curious and questioning but Andy is annoyed and gets up to disappear into her office.

The team looks confused after Andy and finally at Robert. Only you understood what they said and continues breakfast silently. "Y/N....?" Vic almost sang your name blinking at you as if she wants a cookie. You shrug and the way you look at her was like a slowmotion movie. "tell us please! you understood everything! is there something between Sullivan and Andy?" vic asks with puppyeyes as Sullivan stands up to leave the beanery.

Doctor Who: The Ultimate Speedrun Marathon - Series 1 (2005)

Eccleston as the 9th Doctor seems to be a big fan favorite, including among my Whovian friends, so I was especially excited to start his era. Needless to say, I was very impressed! This series really brought Doctor Who out of its ‘80s era funk and into the modern age, so its importance deserves the praise, which I’m about to give in truckloads.

General Thoughts

Right out the gate, Christopher Eccleston was the perfect actor to take on the role! From what I’d heard of the 9th Doctor before watching this series, I assumed he’d be very serious, edgy, and overall just a grimdark take on Doctor Who. The early 2000s was ripe with franchises and reboots like that, so I was pleasantly surprised to see just how three-dimensional he was! I was mainly familiar with Eccleston from the 2010 TV movie Lennon Naked, which he was fucking awful in, so to see him so perfectly embody the Doctor gave me whiplash ngl. He does have darkness in him, which comes out in relation to his Time War PTSD and his hatred of the Daleks, but he’s also really lively and snarky in most moments. Such a great character all around! If Paul McGann makes you fall in love with the Doctor’s personality, Eccleston makes you understand it.

I assume the tragic backstory 9 mentions throughout this series (regarding the Time War, the destruction of Gallifrey, and him being the last of the Time Lords) was a retcon made for this series in particular, since the 8th Doctor was on his way back to Gallifrey at the beginning of the ‘96 TV movie. Maybe he was just visiting the rubble idk. I could be wrong, but I include this just to mention that I assume lore retcons will probably be rampant from here forward, so I’m cool with that.

Moving onto this Doctor’s companion, there’s a few. The main one we follow is 19 year old Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper. I was familiar with Piper as Brona/Lily in Penny Dreadful, which she was great in, so it was cool to see her again in a very different role. Rose starts out really wayward and flat, but over the course of the series and her adventures with the Doctor, she grows more involved with the world and becomes happier as a person. It’s a cool development that really cuts to the core of what the Doctor represents as a traveler and explorer of all things exciting and hopeful. Dr. Grace Holloway gives her a run for her money as my favorite companion so far, but Rose is really interesting and overall just a great human protagonist for us to tag along with.

Along with her, there’s also Mickey (Ricky?) Smith, played by Noel Clarke, and Captain Jack Harkness, played by John Barrowman. With Mickey, I assumed he’d just be a throwaway character, as a teenage boyfriend Rose leaves behind for good to move onto greater things, but he comes back again and again, with a lot of development that really surprised me! He grows from a pretty flat and lame guy into a character with a lot of agency and intelligence. His angst over Rose leaving him for time/space adventures was also really sad :( I felt bad for him honestly, but he grows beyond his need for Rose and comes into his own right

Captain Jack was really fun too. Reminded me a lot of Firefly. I expected him to be one-off character too, but he sticks around and is really fun to follow. It’s cool to have another snarky space/time adventurer around for a little bit. He’s also a bi king so that’s dope as fuck

Back to the 9th Doctor himself, I really liked the parallels drawn between him and the Daleks. This might just be a coincidence, but I think the interior walls of his TARDIS look a lot like the outer shell of the Daleks. Just thought that was a cool detail.

Speaking of his TARDIS in general, the more industrial look contrasts with the 7th & 8th Doctor’s warm homely TARDIS. The spindly concrete pillars and the shiny metal walls/floor are really striking. It’s like a modern-art exhibit. It’s both very 2000s and very classic looking.

“You would make a good Dalek”….. omg chills

Rose being there for her father’s death was really sad and moving. That whole episode was great, but that last moment was especially effective

“Kill yourself.” lol

Charles Dickens having his own sort of Scrooge-esque arc was really nice. A bit sad knowing that he would die a year after the episode is set, but still bittersweet and nice.

The Doctor’s joy after realizing everyone finally gets to walk away okay in episode 10 was great! It’s an amazingly emotional moment for someone who’s gone through so much loss and grief, and Eccleston plays it perfectly. Everyone lives!!!

Rose getting super glowy TARDIS powers was cool as hell for her development into a hero in her own right, as well as being dope as fuck overall. I’m gonna assume/headcanon that the “Heart of the TARDIS” that appears in the finale is the same as the Eye of Harmony that appears in the TV movie.

That final regeneration scene… So cool! I’ll miss Eccleston, but he made the most of his time as the 9th Doctor. The way David Tennant also makes his appearance uniquely his was super funny. Just kinda commenting on his new teeth and then shrugging it off.

Alright, that’s it for Series 1, as well as the end of Eccleston’s run as the 9th Doctor. It was a fun ride and an amazing start to this fresh new beginning to the franchise, but I suppose it’s time to move on with him. Now, onto Series 2, with David Tennant taking over as the 10th Doctor.

Day 19: Karaoke

A series of sharp knocks on the door startled you out of the book you'd been reading. A quick glance at the deadbolt proved it to be securely locked, which was slightly reassuring.

Frisk scooted a bit closer to you and wrapped their arms around your body. You pulled them into your lap and held them close in an effort to comfort them. You didn't know who was at the door but you really hoped they would just go away.

Papyrus entered the room looking confused and he glanced at you wordlessly. You shrugged in response and he turned to the door, studying it thoughtfully. He strode over and opened it, although he left the chain in place rather than completely unlock it.

"Hey Papyrus, I..."

He immediately shut the door as soon as you'd registered it was Undyne who was outside.

She pounded on the door again. "Aw come on! We just wanted to hang out, nothing more, I swear!" Her voice was rather muffled by the door but because of the volume, you could easily hear what she was saying.

Papyrus started to walk away from the door, seemingly intending to ignore Undyne. Instead he moved to the couch but before he could sit down, you frowned slightly.

"What? Do Not Look At Me Like That, I Am Not Letting Her In So She Can Hurt Either Of You," he grumbled.

"Yeah, I figured," you said.

Papyrus narrowed his eye sockets at you. "No, You Cannot Be Serious. We Barely Got Her To Leave Last Time Without Her Killing You Or Frisk...Again." His voice seemed to tremble slightly at the last part which made you feel pretty bad.

"But what if she was telling the truth? Things would be better if we were on the good side of the literal Captain of the Royal Guard, right?" you pressed.

He sighed and ran a hand over his face. "I Swear, You Have No Survival Instincts Whatsoever. Fine, But Do Not Say I Did Not Warn You If This Goes Badly."

You chuckled and flashed him a triumphant grin. "I'll keep that in mind, Handsome." You did not however say the rest of what you were thinking and risk making him more annoyed.

You were starting to wonder if he was capable of saying no to you if he had caved that quickly. No, you totally weren't filing this away for future testing.

Undyne really had just come by to hang out and she'd even brought her friend Alphys with, who you found out was the Royal Scientist.

Alphys was a short lizard monster with yellow scales covering her body although she had lighter scales on her torso and underneath her tail. She had yellow eyes framed by a pair of round glasses. She also had a head frill with three points, sharp teeth, manicured sharp claws, and small spikes that went down her spine to the tip of her tail. Besides her winter gear, she was wearing a red and grey striped sweater and a black ankle length skirt.

Alphys seemed to be a bit of a shy monster but as soon as you were introduced, all of that shyness evaporated. You quickly realized she was absolutely fascinated by you and she asked so many questions about the surface and human culture that you could hardly keep up.

Sans popped in at some point and while he was surprised at first, seemed to relax once he realized what was going on. Well, he was doing a good job at acting relaxed because you could tell he seemed to be keeping a closer eye on you and Frisk than he normally did.

Speaking of, Frisk was acting the perfect picture of the adorable angel that they were. While they were a bit shy at first and clung to you with their trademark koala hug, they seemed to warm up quickly and started a conversation with Undyne. While she struggled a little bit to understand them and you had to translate quite a bit, she soon started to grasp what Frisk was saying and you surmised she was reading their Intent to do so.

Undyne was a lot calmer today and while things were rather awkward, especially with how on edge you could tell Papyrus was, you did your best to make polite conversation where you could. She seemed genuinely interested in hearing about the surface though and wasn't acting hostile at all.

"Have you ever seen any anime?" Alphys asked you.

"I've seen a few series, like Pokemon or Naruto, but that was back when I was a kid. There's a lot more nowadays but I'm afraid I'm not familiar with them."

"I see..." Alphys seemed slightly disappointed to hear that but she moved on to the next question rather than continue to dwell on it. "What about karaoke? Have you ever done that?"

You shook your head, "I haven't but I didn't exactly have many friends to do it with. I was, admittedly, an awkward teenager and didn't really click with a lot of my classmates."

"Wait, you seriously haven't?!" Alphys gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. "We should totally do it together some time! You could experience it for the first time!"

You chuckled at her enthusiasm. "Sure, but fair warning, I can't promise I'm any good at singing."

Undyne chuckled, "Well, we aren't either but the point is to have fun, right?"

It only occurred to you later that you had seen a handful of places advertising karaoke nights back on the surface. If you ever got out of this pit, you were definitely going to check them out, maybe you could even take Alphys with you? Maybe you'd have to wrangle other people to come with though to make it less awkward. Still, you kept these thoughts to yourself for now as you weren't sure if you really could trust either Undyne or Alphys just yet.

Of course, after days of being there, and being treated like an actual goddess, she was brought to twisted wonderland.

The sad thing is that she has bad control and almost turned Jamil into a Magicam hashtag.

Eventually she does learn to control it, and can better use it to protect loved ones.

Season 2 Rewatch Drabbles--2x16 The Miller’s Daughter

Summary:  A series of 100-500 word drabbles to accompany my   rewatch of season 2 of Once Upon a Time as an attempt to finally jump   start the muse again.  There will be a drabble–either a deleted scene, a   “fix it” fic or a character musing for each episode of the season.   Focus will be on Emma, Henry, the Charmings and Killian–with an   emphasis on the very beginnings of Captain Swan’s epic love story, as   soon as a certain dashing pirate makes his appearance.

And so it came down to this.  Rumple supposed it was inevitable; he supposed the only way the Dark One ever went out was with violence.

What surprised him was his lack of fear. He’d spent a lifetime–several lifetimes in fact–as a coward, so desperate to hold onto his power that he’d do anything, anything to keep it, but now, with the dreamshade surging through his heart, zapping his strength and his will to live, he was just…tired, ready to have it over with.

He didn’t suppose he’d enjoy the afterlife that awaited him.  After all, he’d done more unforgivable things during his tenure as Dark One than he could count.  But he couldn’t worry himself about that now.  He was just So. Damn. Tired.

“A vision told me about you; told me this day would come, but it didn’t tell me everything;” Rumple said, looking up at Cora, standing over him with the dagger in hand, “didn’t tell me what I really wanted to know.” 

Cora sat on the bed beside him, looking at him with something akin to tenderness, if the emotion was even possible for her.  “And what’s that?”

“Did you ever love me?” he asked softly.

He’d loved her; truly he had–not in the way he loved Belle, to be sure, but he supposed he didn’t deserve the love of a woman as pure and good as Belle.  Someone who was so corrupted by her own ambition and inflated sense of self worth as Cora was probably more what he deserved.

Cora’s face softened even more, and she reached an impossibly gentle, gloved hand to caress his face and swipe the damp hair from his forehead.  “Why do you think I had to rip my own heart out?  You were my weakness; you were the only man I truly loved.”

And with that, she stood, raising the dagger high above her head, preparing to plunge it into his chest.

Rumple watched dispassionately, making peace with the inevitable.  He’d made one last play, manipulating Mary Margaret to use the candle to save his life, and he knew he’d convinced her to do it.

But it appeared help wasn’t coming soon enough.  

His last play had failed, and all that was left was to be grateful he’d been able to make his peace with his son and his true love.  It wasn’t enough, but he supposed it was more than he deserved.

He took a breath, waiting for the inevitable, as he endeavored to make his last thoughts thoughts of them.

Me watching Laws of Attraction Ep. 5:

1. After two days of not being able to watch, I can finally sit back and continue this series 😭😭😭😭 Starting with Charn accusing the friendly neighbours as traitors (specifically, the brave lady from previous episode, Nam). I don't buy this. I still maintain that Charn's assistant (Wit) is highly sus.

2. Oh, wait. So, Nam DID sold Tin out??? I still have a hard time believing it. I think she's telling the truth about trying to set the reporter straight (which, unfortunately backfired). But I don't think she's the one who reveal all of Charn's cards to Thattep.

3. Charn, you and Tin just reconciled. Don't mess things up.

4. OMG. Tonkhao's bestie is also using the doll in public 😭😭😭 I hope Thattep does not find her (and the doll) first.

5. Grandma still captaining the ship, apparently 😅 Sidenote, I don't think I like this transition. We just saw Tin and Charn arguing about each other beliefs and morals, next thing we see Charn is in Tin's bedroom with an almost naked and newly bathe Tin. From a plot's perspective, it doesn't make much sense that they (especially Tin) are more than okay with each other's company (and flirting) again. 😑 Don't get me wrong, the scenes are cute. It's just that I think the timing (or editing) is wrong.

7. Charn is, opportunistic, to put it nicely. He just needs to channel that talent into good use. However, his cynicism is hindering him from looking at things from a (morally) positive angle.

8. I have said this from the very first episode: GIVE US CHARN'S FULL BACKSTORY, GAWD DAMMIT. I am this close 🤏 to googling spoilers 😭😭😭

9. Ms Club Owner and the gorgeous Silvy (in hot pink) side-eyeing Charn throughout the whole phone conversation is 😂😂😂 Also, Charn called Ms Club Owner, "auntie". Is he really her nephew? Because y'know, us Asians can call any female "auntie" (even complete strangers) without batting an eyelash 😂😂😂

10. Noooo, Charn. Don't leave Tonkhao's things in the open like that with Wit. 😭😭😭

11. Wit asking questions about the doll just heightens my suspicions towards him. So, yeah Charn, take your own advice and don't trust anyone, especially Wit.

12. I feel bad for Chai. I mean, wasn't it enough that they made him a fallguy? He needed to be killed too? The fvck. Also, the calculated way that Charn sacrificed this man's life to draw out the mole is every bit disgusting.

13. Thattep's reasoning. I cannot. 🤯🤯🤯🤯 What a sh*tty father. So, the reason why his own son is his first choice to be the fallguy is because it is a given that he will get away with it (just a probation, guys. No biggie /s)? He would rather have his son wrongfully labeled as criminal to what end???

14. Tanthai getting gaslit and made to believe that he caused two innocent people killed should be the bodyguard's cue to switch sides and tell the truth to protect his young master.

15. I KNEW IT. Then again, the series made it obvious that Wit cannot be trusted. Okay, I did not anticipate the gun(s), the action scenes, or that office fire/explosion that followed. Still, 😂😂😂😂

16. Not sure why the office exploded, honestly. I get it is for dramatic effect (and ensures that Wit is truly dead). But then again, from a realistic point of view, that sh*t shouldn't have happened unless Charn was keeping something that is highly explosive in HIS LAW OFFICE.

17. Grandma has a glow-up courtesy of Silvy (Maya) in a gorgeous 1920s-inspired fit. At this point, I seriously should start a Silvy fan club lol.

17. After the night's excitement, forgive me if I'm eyerolling Tin's highly questionable timing to flirt with Charn. 🙄🙄🙄

18. Mr. Bodyguard, sir, get an effing clue. At this point, I will not be surprised if Tanthai tries to un-alive himself.

19. Grandma being supportive of TinCharn's happiness is 🥺🥺🥺

20. Charn sleeps exactly like my two-year old nephew, right to the part of kicking anybody who shares the bed 😂😂😂😂 His parents learnt to sleep the very edge of the bed - sideways lol

21. Hold up. I think Wit is already effed up in the head, even without Charn's influence. He just got emboldened by Charn's very lax and questionable take on justice.

It's official. I am having a love-hate fascination with Charn. He is so desperate to play an anti-hero that is almost pathetic, not to mention downright depressing. Will I get to finally see Charn's backstory in the next episode? I really hope so.

Rex was walking up the ramp of the Marauder with his helmet tucked under his arm when he saw Tech coming towards him. For a moment, the former clone captain was surprised, because it looked like Tech was limping. But then Rex saw the reason. A little girl with happily bobbing dark curls was clinging to his leg, giggling.

Rex grinned.

"That must be Amy," he said, amused.

Tech grinned and greeted him with a nod. Finally, he looked down at Amy and said, "Hey spider monkey, maybe let go of Daddy's leg for a moment and say hello to Uncle Rex?"

"Rrrrrrrrex," Amy rolled the name off her tongue, she did things like that a lot lately, played with emphasizing and pronouncing words.

Rex raised his eyebrows in amusement. When the little girl turned to him, he knelt down and smiled at her.

"Hi Amy."

She waved at him with a grin, then looked up at her father.

Tech said, "It's okay, Rex is one of my brothers"

"Another uncle," she said, looking at Rex from a distance first, scrutinizing.

"That's right, little mouse," the former clone captain said, amused.

Unabashed, Amy eyed the newcomer and said, "You look like my Uncle Echo."

Slowly the little girl walked up to Rex until she was standing right in front of him, then she eyed him again, this time up close.

"Your hair is all light," she noted.

"It's called blonde, Amy," Tech explained softly.

"Blonde," she repeated thoughtfully.

She slowly reached out to touch Rex's head, very slowly, watching him as she did so, as if expecting him to bite her at any moment. She touched the soft, cropped hair briefly, then withdrew her hand.

"Real soft!" she exclaimed, running back to cling to Tech's leg again.

"Amy, I have to work in the engine room, you can't stay on my leg, honey."

Tech's daughter sighed theatrically and went back to Rex, who had just gotten back up.

"Will you play with me?" she asked, looking up at him expectantly.

Rex scratched the back of his head and laughed softly, "Sure, if your dad doesn't mind."

Tech said, "In fact, I'd be very grateful if you could keep her busy until her mom gets back. The work in the engine room needs to be done by tonight. Y/N should be back in an hour at the latest, I guess"

"Sure, no problem," Rex said, even though he wasn't at all sure what to do with the little girl. He didn't really have much experience with children.

Tech made his way to the engine room, and Amy continued to look up at Rex expectantly.

"What would you like to play?" he asked her with a smile.

Amy said eagerly, "We could play what Uncle Cross always plays with me."

Rex raised his eyebrows in surprise, "Crosshair plays with you?"

The girl nodded eagerly, grabbed his hand and pulled him down the ramp outside, several feet away from the Marauder.

"Where are you taking me?"

"To the playground."

"There's a playground here?"

Amy beamed at him, "Yes. Uncle Cross made it"

Rex said dryly, "I guess your Uncle Crosshair is good for many a surprise after all"

The Captain just couldn't picture the Sniper handling a child, but Amy was obviously quite fond of her Uncle Cross.

In fact, there was a playground. There were a few trees a bit off to the side, a makeshift swing hung from one of them, a small climbing frame was set up next to it, and a slide. All very carefully homemade from scrap parts. Rex was amazed and took a closer look. No sharp edges, no rust. Everything had been neatly and very conscientiously worked on. He nodded, Crosshair had really made an effort, he had to admit that.

At Amy's request, Rex carefully placed her on the swing and gently pushed her.

"So, what do your other uncles do?" asked Rex curiously.

Amy eagerly began to tell, "Uncle Wrekah sometimes plays with Mimi and Lula with me, our stuffed animals and I can ride on his shoulders, and then I'm the biggest person in the galaxy! Uncle Echo taught me how to draw and read the star chart. Uncle Huntah sometimes goes with me to watch animals and pick berries and flowers, for Mommy."

Rex laughed softly, the idea of Clone Force 99 taking care of a toddler was cute and funny. Especially Crosshair, was a surprise to Rex.

"You sure talk a lot for your age, don't you? That's pretty amazing"

"I'm almost three!" exclaimed Amy, indignantly.

"That's very young," Rex remarked, "But you definitely are your father's daughter."

Amy seemed to be thinking, not sure if Rex had just said something good or bad there. She looked at him over her small shoulder and said, "Daddy is the best! He knows everything and can fix anything!"

Rex nodded and said in agreement, "That's right, your father is a very capable man"

"Mommy is great too" she said thoughtfully "She makes really great food, knows great stories, and she makes Daddy very happy"

Rex laughed softly again and said, "Yes, I'm sure she does, she's a great woman"

"Hey spider monkey"

Amy's gaze shot forward in the direction of the voice. Crosshair had emerged from between the trees. She said hastily, "Stop the swing! Stop the swing!"

Rex did as he was told, and before he could reach for her, Amy jumped down and ran toward her uncle. She jumped on one of the Sniper's long legs and began to climb up. Crosshair watched her with amusement as she climbed, holding onto his armor. He remained alert and ready to grab her should she slip, but she made it up to his chest. Only now, he wrapped an arm around her small body to hold her in place.

"You're getting better at this," he said with a smirk.

Amy beamed proudly at him.

"Uncle Rex is visiting. I showed him my playground"

"Well, well, well," Crosshair said, nodding at the clone captain, "Rex."

"Crosshair," the latter returned the greeting, "I heard you two get along pretty nicely"

Crosshair looked him dead in the eye and said snarling, "Well, that's pretty easy, I'll just give her what none of us ever had"

Rex asked, "What would that be?"

"Someone who cares"

Before Rex could say something about that, a noise distracted them all.

The two men and Amy looked up as an alien ship approached the Marauder and landed more or less nearby.

"Are you expecting visitors?" asked Rex.

Crosshair, who had been frowning critically, shook his head and said, "No, not that I know of. I don't know that ship. I should go back and see if everything is all right. You stay in cover with Amy, just in case."

But when Crosshair tried to hand Amy off to Rex, she clung to the sniper with all her strength.

"No, I want to go with you!"

"Amy, this could be dangerous, it's better if you stay here with Rex," Crosshair said surprisingly patiently.

"Then you'll have to watch out for me! I don't even know Rex! I want to stay with you!"

Rex didn't blame the little girl, she was right, she didn't know him at all.

"I'll go see," the clone captain offered, "You stay here with Amy. I'll come get you when I know the coast is clear."

Crosshair sighs but nods.

"Be careful," he growls.

Rex runs off and Crosshair looks at Amy, her little face all worried and her little fingers clamped around the edges of the shoulder plates of his armor.

"It's okay, I'll stay with you and keep an eye on you. We'll go up that wooded hill back there, we can see the Marauders from there and have a good place to hide in case of emergency."

Amy nodded, her little heart beating fast and nervously in her chest, sensing that something was in the air.

As they started moving, she asked, "What about daddy? Is mommy back yet? Who's going to watch them when we're not there?"

Crosshair explained, "Hunter and Wrecker are back with the Marauder, they're both watching out and your Uncle Rex is a good... protector too."

"Okay," Amy said uncertainly, resting her head on his shoulder.

You had first met your best friend Peter Parker two years ago after you learned you had powers and had been discovered by the Avengers. Being the youngest two of the Avengers and the same age, you and Peter were practically attached at the hip and everyone was aware of it. Whether it was having each other’s backs during missions, helping each other with homework or binge watching the latest sci-fi television show together, you and Peter were inseparable.

As much as you and Peter had tried to convince yourselves that you were only best friends and nothing more, everyone around you could see through that facade. They caught what you two tried to hide from one another- the stolen glances, the jealousy, the stuttering, the getting flustered when anyone brought up the prospect of you two being anything more than friends.

It’s not as if you two weren’t aware of the feelings that you had- you knew you liked Peter more than a friend should- but you weren’t about to tell him and have him laugh in your face, ruining everything you’ve built. So, the two of you lived in less than blissful ignorance, hiding your feelings from one another.

There wasn’t a nice way to put it- during your last mission Peter got absolutely wrecked. Although he had super-human abilities, even he was taking a longer time to recover which meant him staying back at the Avengers Compound while you and the rest of the Avengers went on a mission.

Peter knew that you could handle yourself and admittedly had powers that exceeded his, but he worried about you and tried to beg you to stay behind with him. He hated the idea of you going out and him not being able to have your back. He wouldn’t be able to relax unless he knew you were safe and he wouldn’t be able to keep you safe while you were out fighting and he was confined to his bed.

“Y/n, please.” He begged, tucked under his sheets.

“Peter, they need me.” You insisted.

“Not as much as I need you, though.”

“Oh yeah?” you chuckled at his attempt to implore you to stay.

“Yeah!” He continued. “Who’s going to stay here and look after me? What if I need something? Plus, my leg has been really aching.... so... I think it’s decided! Besides, what would you do if something happened to me?”

You laughed. “Nothing’s going to happen to you, Peter. You’re fine. I’ll be back before you even notice I’m gone.”

Debatable, Peter thought. He always noticed when you were there and especially when you weren’t.

“Okay, but, hear me out-“ He explained. “What if someone tries to attack the Compound? I can’t do anything to protect myself! I could die!”

“You’re not going to die, Pete.” You smiled. “If you die, I’ll kill you.”

That was the last thing you said to your best friend before you left with the rest of the Avengers. You would be lying if you said you were totally fine going on this mission without Peter. You were anything but calm. Sure, the others would have your back, but not the same way Peter did, swooping in at the last moment before someone got to you like he was always looking out for you.

You told yourself you’d be fine. For the most part you were. You could handle yourself and you had a good grip on your powers. You covered others and they did the same for you in return.

You had always heard that no matter how good things were going, it could change in a blink of an eye. One moment you could be kicking ass and the next you could be dead. You thought you knew better. You thought that you had everything covered, but you were so focused on the creatures in front of you, you didn’t even hear the one behind you until you felt the blade go through your abdomen.

It happened so quickly you could barely even process it. As soon as the blade went through you, you heard gun shots and the creature behind you and all those in front of you drop. You didn’t even notice, only moving your shaking hands to your abdomen, feeling the area and pulling them away to see your hands covered in blood.

The next thing you knew Natasha was at your side, noticing your wound and turning back to face you.

“Y/n, listen to me, it’s going to be okay.” She said frantically. You know she meant well but the way she lost her cool let you know that this was definitely not a good situation.

The sharp pain running through you made you lose your balance and collapse into her arms. You heard her speak into the ear piece, telling the others that you were injured and needed to get help ASAP. She continued to try to keep you awake and to assure you that everything would be fine but all you could do was cry back frantically that you weren’t ready to go.

When you began to feel light headed, you heard footsteps and without looking up you knew it was Tony.

Seeing you in your current state, he cursed to himself and looked at Nat. “The kid is going to kill me.”

You know he meant Peter.

“We have to get her out of here. The blade staying in there helped, but there’s only so much longer she can go without a hospital.” Nat said.

You felt Tony kneel besides you, still leaning into Nat’s arms. “C’mon, let’s go.”

You could barely even pay attention to what was going on around you, just thinking about how you could die any second. It happened so quick. Before he could pick you up, coughing up blood and struggling to speak you told him. “I told Peter this morning that if he died, I’d kill him myself.” You laughed. “It’s ironic now that I think about it. He told me not to come. He was right... and so were you.”

Picking you up, to rush you to the hospital, he asked, “Right about what exactly?”

“It feels so stupid now,” You spoke, feeling more blood drip down your chin. “I should have just told him. You were right. I do love him.” Beginning to feel lightheaded again and struggling to breathe, you told him: “If I die, be gentle with him... okay, Mr. Sta-”

Peter couldn’t sit still in bed, knowing you were out there fighting and he wasn’t there to protect you. Not being able to put his mind or body to rest, he threw off the covers and began climbing out of bed. Sure, he had a difficult time balancing at first and was walking with a bit of a limp, but he could handle it.

Walking out of his room and into the hallway, he heard muffled voices coming from the room, meaning that at least some of the team had made it back home.

Eager to see you, he stumbled quickly into the main room only to be met with Steve and Natasha. Taken by surprise he attempted to stand up straighter, leaning against a wall for help.

“Mr. Captain America sir,” Peter spoke nervously, still intimidated by the man in front of him, despite the many times he fought alongside him.

Both him and Natasha had grim looks on their faces as he attempted to peek around them in hopes of seeing you or Mr. Stark come in behind them.

“Peter...” Natasha spoke gently, slowly moving towards him.

Peter chuckled nervously, cutting her off. “Hey, where’s Y/n? Or Mr. Stark?”

Nat and Steve looked at each other before turning back to Peter. Steve stepped forward, reaching his hand out to Peter’s shoulder.

Peter glanced nervously from Cap’s hand on his shoulder to his face, asking again. “Where’s Y/n?”

“She was injured. Tony rushed her to the hospital and they’re operating on her now.” Steve spoke plainly.

Peter’s heart rate jumped and he began breathing heavily, looking between Nat and Steve frantically. “Injured? What do you mean injured? Wait, surgery?” His brain was moving a million miles a minute. He could barely comprehend what was going on, fearing the worse.

Nat spoke this time. “There’s not a nice way to put it, Peter. She was...” She pauses looking at Steve. He nods and she turns towards Peter. “She was stabbed. It happened so quick, Peter. There was nothing anyone could have done.”

Peter feels like screaming that there was something that someone could have done- that he could have done if he had only been there to protect you. He knows that Natasha means well but he can’t help but beat himself up, knowing you’re dying somewhere and he never even told you how he felt. He couldn’t bare to think about your body lying in Nat’s arms while you were covered in blood, scared of dying.

As much as he wanted to scream, he could just feel tears coming to his eyes and turned around, rushing back to his bedroom. He could hear the footsteps of Steve and Nat as he slammed the door behind him, wincing as he stripped himself of his clothes, searching for and grabbing his spiderman suit and pulling it on.

“Peter, what are you doing?” He heard Nat speak through the door.

Holding back his sniffles, he flung open the door, pulling the spider-man mask over his face. “I’m going to go see her.”

Natasha, watching as he struggled down the hallway spoke, “You can barely walk! You can’t go.”

He continued.

Cap spoke this time, “Kid, I get it, but there’s nothing you can do. You have to let yourself hea-“

“No!” Peter shouted turning around. The crack in his voice was evident to the two avengers, making his sobbing clear. “I could have done something! If I was there I could have saved her. She wouldn’t be dying right now if I had been there. This is all my fault, don’t you get it? If it weren’t for me getting hurt I would have been able to protect her!”

The three of them stood in silence and when he felt that no one was about to speak, Peter sighed. “I have to go.”

When Cap was about to go after him, Natasha grabbed his arm. If Peter was hell bent on going, it wasn’t worth trying to stop him.

“At least let us take you.” Natasha said. “You’re crazy if you think you can just swing from here to the hospital and you definitely can’t walk.”

The whole way there he had beat himself up for not being by your side, thinking of all the ways today could have gone differently so it didn’t have to end with you dying. He was so exhausted from crying, thinking about you, all the moments he shared and praying that he would get to make more.

Making it to the correct spot of the hospital, he saw Mr. Stark now changed out of his iron man suit and into a regular suit, standing outside a hospital room. When he made eye contact with Peter, Peter stopped short in the hallway.

“Take that thing off.” Tony insisted, pointing his finger at Peter’s mask. “I didn’t just donate millions of dollars to this hospital to keep you two’s identity a secret for you to keep that mask on. Come on, let’s go, I can’t take you seriously in that thing right now.”

Peter hesitantly took off his mask, stumbling further down the hallway. Even from far away Tony could see Peter’s tear stained face, red eyes and red cheeks, surely from crying since the moment he found out.

“Is... is she going to be okay?” Peter asked.

“As good as someone who just got stabbed with a blade from an alien planet can be.” Tony spoke before turning to look at Peter, who was visibly distraught. He sighed, wrapping his arm around Peter’s shoulder. “She just got out of surgery. If you trust these doctors... they say she’ll be okay.”

For the first time since Peter found out he felt a weight lift off of his chest and the ability to breathe normally come back to him.

“Really?” He asked, cheerfully.

“Yeah, but-“ Tony continued. “You have to knock this off.”

Peter furrowed his brows. “What do you mean, Mr. Stark?”

Tony sighed. “This.” He gestured between Peter and the room you were resting in. “You two. No more of this little elementary school crush stuff.” Peter felt his cheeks flush. “She thought she was going to die after fighting aliens with her superpowers and the last thing she said was that she loved you. It’s disgusting, honestly.”

Peter didn’t even know how to process this. You were in love with him? You were in love with him! He had had feelings for you for so long that he didn’t even think it was possibly for you to look at him as more than a friend. Not only did you look at him as more than a friend- you loved him. Not only did you love him- you thought you were dying and you spent your last words on him.

“I know you feel the same way so just cut it out and tell her.” Tony spoke.

Peter snapped out of his thoughts and looked back at Mr. Stark. “How did you know?” Peter, realizing he just admitted Mr. Stark was right coughed, embarrassed. “I mean... why do you think so?”

Tony laughed. “You’re a smart kid, Parker.” He placed his hand on one of Peter’s shoulders. “But you’re not that good at hiding it. I mean I can’t even count how many times I caught you checking her out in her suit never mind the other times where-“

“Okay!” Peter yelped. “I get it.”

“Not even just me either,” Tony continued, chuckling. “Everyone and I mean everyone, knows.”

Peter, on the verge of being mortified, shouted again. “Mr. Stark! Please stop!”

Finally Tony stopped, checking his watch, looking back up to Peter. “You’re right. She should probably be awake by now anyway. Why don’t you head in?”

“Are you sure, Mr. Stark? What about you?” Peter asked.

“Well,” Tony clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth. “You’re the one she just confessed her undying love for, so I think she’d rather see you, kid.” He pat him on the shoulder one last time before walking off. “Good luck!”

Peter watched as he walked away down the empty hallway. Holding his mask in his hands, he then turned to the door of the room you were waiting inside. He took a deep breath before opening the door.

His heart shattered when he saw you laying in the hospital bed with your hands folded over your stomach. He hated the idea of you being hurt and it made your near death experience even more real to him.

“Hey, Peter.” You spoke, your voice almost a whisper.

“Hey Y/n.” Peter answers finally looking up from all of the medical equipment you were attached to to instead look at your face.

As he moved closer to sit in the chair besides your bed, he could still see dried remains of blood at the corners of your mouth. He grimaced, piecing the scene together.

“Pete, stop looking at me like that.” You spoke, paused then smirked. “Thanks for showing up in your suit by the way. Nice touch. I can’t believe the spider-man came to visit me.”

Peter smiled but then it faltered. You always knew how to lighten the mood, but he couldn’t help but think about how he was so close to never seeing you again. “You almost died, Y/n.”

“So I keep hearing.” You replied.

“It’s not funny, Y/n.” He spoke seriously, dropping his mask by his side and taking one of your hands. “I- I don’t know what I would do without you. You’re my best friend and other half. I know our lives are really complicated, but I don’t know, you make it better. I can’t help thinking about how you almost died. When they told me what happened I thought I would never see you again, Y/n.”

You let yourself become vulnerable, squeezing Peter’s hand, but before you could even speak, he opened his mouth again.

“Mr. Stark told me about what you said.” He spoke softly, scratching the back of his neck, not meeting your eyes.

You tried to stop your heart from racing knowing you were not only attached to a heart monitor, but that Peter also had super senses. You couldn’t help yourself though. Was it mistake to say all that? To be fair, you thought you were going to die, but now that Peter’s sitting here in front of you, you’re scared he knows about your feelings and that he’ll reject you.

“Oh-“

“I like you. A lot. Maybe more than a lot.” Peter starts rambling before you could even finish what you were saying. “It’s not just because you spent your dying words telling Mr. Stark you loved me either. I’ve liked you- actually now that I think about it- loved you- for a really long time. Probably since I first met you, honestly. It’s not because you’re like this super cool superhero chick either- don’t get me wrong, it’s super... wow- but I love you for you. Even if you had no powers or anything, I would still love you. I know this is probably a lot and maybe you just said that stuff because you thought you were going to die, but I know that I love you an-“

And just like that years of pining for you just spilled out of Peter’s mouth before you cut him off.

“You like me?” You asked again.

“I mean I love you, but uh... yeah.” Peter said slightly flustered.

Not being able to sit up or lean forward too much due to your healing wound didn’t stop you. Hearing his answer was all you needed for you to grab hold of the front of his suit, pull him towards you and kiss him.

Peter was shocked at first, but soon hummed in response, planting his hands on the pillow on either side of your head. When you pulled away you smiled up at him. “I love you too, Peter. I’m sorry it took me nearly dying to say it.”

Peter, trying to contain his excitement, just smiled and kissed you again, savoring every second of it.

Little did the two of you know that outside your room stood some of the rest of your group of the earth’s mightiest heroes, peeking in on your moment with Peter.

“I can’t believe he finally told her.” Nat said.

“What I can’t believe is that she actually felt the same way.” Sam spoke. “You’re telling me that she spent her dying breath on him?”

“What can I say? I taught him everything he knows.” Tony stated confidently as they turned back, watching the two of you through the hospital room window.

Unfortunately for Peter’s sake, they also witnessed him going to place his hands on your waist while kissing you and accidentally grazing your healing wound, causing you to yelp and wince.

“Sorry!” he shouted. “Oh shit, Y/n, I’m so sorry. Did I hurt you? I’m so dumb, I’m so sorry-“

The others turned to Tony.

“Okay... well there’s only so much you can do to help that poor kid. That’s not on me.”

Summary:  When HYDRA had their prized asset, the Winter Soldier, they did something no one ever thought was possible: they gave super soldier serum to an omega. With the sole purpose of tending to him during his ruts, she spends decades living in HYDRA facilities, denied her humanity and her life. Amoretta swam in and out of sleep. Whenever she surfaced, she saw bright lights and strange faces, and, assuming that she was in a HYDRA lab, she decided it was better if she just kept on dreaming. After a while, though, she couldn’t manage it anymore, and she finally woke up enough to actually take in her surroundings.

She was in a hospital bed, and...a gown? She couldn’t remember the last time she had been given clothing. When she tried to move, she found that her arms ached, and she had an IV sticking out of her. Okay, so wherever she was, they were trying to take care of her. Maybe. That seemed like a good sign. 

“Oh, good, you’re awake,” a man’s voice said. “How’re you feeling?”

A figure came into view, blurry at first, and as he got closer she was able to get him in focus. Amoretta immediately stiffened, feeling threatened by this stranger, but as the scent of omega wafted in, she relaxed slightly. She couldn’t smell any alphas nearby, and that was good. 

Two good signs so far. 

“Wh-who are you?” She asked, her voice wobbly and hoarse. Her throat was so sore that talking was painful. 

“My name is Dr. Bruce Banner.” The man said, reaching towards a nearby table and grabbing a water bottle off of it. “I’m with the Avengers.”

Amoretta frowned. “The...who?”

He came near her slowly, twisting the cap off the bottle and offering it to her. “You’ve probably got a lot of questions. Mind if I ask a couple, though?”

She gave a little shrug as she raised the bottle to her lips. It felt strange to hold, the water tasting...different from what she was used to.

“Can you tell me your name?”

She thought for a moment, brows knitting together. “Subject 1096.”

It was Bruce’s turn to frown. “Did you ever have a...different name?”

After a moment, she nodded, trying to remember. It felt like it was on the tip of her tongue, just out of reach. Had it really been so long since she had gotten to say it?

“We can come back to that one.” Bruce said gently. “Do you know what year it is?”

She thought for a moment. “19...1986.”

The doctor pulled off his glasses, pinching the bridge of his nose and mumbling something along the lines of “Christ, not another one…”

She got the feeling that she was off by a few years. 

“Well, Ten...is it alright if I call you that?”

She shrugged.

“...alright. Ten, it seems like you were cryogenically frozen for a few decades.”

“...decades?”

He nodded. “Your body seems to have handled it well, though.”

“Did I puke?” She asked, wrinkling her nose.

“Not that I saw.” He chuckled. 

Well, that was a little surprising. She had a tendency to vomit after being wrenched out of unnaturally cold naps. “Where am I?”

“You’re in my lab, at Stark Tower.”

“What continent?”

“North America.”

She made a thoughtful noise. “What month is it?”

“June.”

“So Ursa Major is out?”

Bruce paused. “...well, it’s hard to see with all the light pollution in the city, but...yes, I suppose it should be…”

She let out a sigh. “I miss it.”

Her voice was already sounding tired again, and Bruce was quick to take the water bottle back before it slipped from her hand. 

“You should get some more rest, Ten.” He suggested. “We’ve got plenty of time to get you caught up when you’re feeling more energetic.”

“Mhm.” her eyes fluttered closed. “Doctor?”

“Yes?”

“What city am I in?”

“New York.” He said, looking down at her curiously. “Manhattan, more specifically. Why?”

She smiled a little. “I wanna see...Brooklyn…”

As she drifted off to sleep again, Bruce rubbed his face. Well, that certainly was oddly specific of her to say. It was a good sign that she seemed lucid, though. 

“Captain Rogers is outside, Dr. Banner.” FRIDAY’s AI voice said. 

Bruce met him at the door, making his way out as quietly as possible. Steve looked anxious, standing with his hands on his hips as he waited for news. He hadn’t gotten a chance to find Bucky yet, his friend either working out or sleeping, and all he had managed so far was a quick debriefing and a shower. 

“I ran down as soon as FRIDAY called,” he said. “How is she?”

“Sleeping again. Just missed her.” Bruce said wryly. “Walk with me, I’m starving.” 

Steve fell into step beside him, heading towards the elevators. “Did she say anything?”

“She did. She seemed a bit out of it...couldn’t remember her name, hasn’t been awake since 1986.” He hit the UP button and stood back. “Seemed very interested in constellations, though. And Brooklyn.”

Steve stared at him. “Brooklyn?”

“Told her she was in New York, and the last thing she said before she fell asleep was something about Brooklyn.” Bruce shrugged. “Really interesting thing was her blood tests, though.”

“Blood tests?” Steve asked, stepping into the elevator and waiting for Bruce to join him before the doors closed again. 

“Definitely an omega.” Banner said as they headed up several floors. “Her scent is so muted because they pumped her full of enough suppressants to kill a normal person. Pretty sure that’s why she’s so tired...her body is working overtime trying to process such a high dose. I think it was just pooling in her system while she was in cryo, not really going anywhere, so now her kidneys are doing everything they can to—“

“Banner.” Steve interrupted before he had to listen to an entire scientific explanation. 

“Right. Sorry.” The scientist cleared his throat. “There was something else that I found already. She’s, uh…well, at some point, she was given super soldier serum.” 

Steve froze. “HYDRA gave the serum...to an omega?”

“It’s confusing to me, too,” Bruce put his hands up in defeat. “Thanks to that, though, it’s hard to determine how old she is, or who she is, without her telling us. All I know is that she’s an unmarked omega super soldier with a hell of a dose of heat suppressants to work through.”

“Any idea when she’ll be up again?” Steve asked as the elevator dinged to signal their arrival. 

“Hard to say.” Bruce said, following the alpha out towards the shared kitchen near the common area. 

“I need to get to the bottom of this, Banner. FRIDAY, will you find Bucky? I need you to tell him—“

“Tell him what?” A voice asked. 

Steve smiled in relief. Bucky was there, sitting on the couch with a plate of Alfredo balanced in his metal hand, looking mildly curious about whatever his friend was talking about. 

“Oh, good,” Steve said, approaching him, Banner following behind. “You’re already here.”

“What is it, Stevie?” He asked, an eyebrow raised. 

“Well, as you know, I visited an abandoned HYDRA base today.” 

“I’m aware.”

“And I found...something.”

“...something. What kind of something?”

Steve suddenly wasn’t sure how to describe his discovery. “Well, it’s a...not an it, I mean, I found a…”

“Rogers here brought back an omega test subject.” Bruce interrupted. “She’s down in the lab right now sleeping off some nasty meds.”

Bucky’s posture hadn’t changed, despite how awkward and almost nervous Steve had gotten. He leaned back against the cushions, slurping down a few noodles while he regarded his friend with a mild expression. 

“Alright, so?” He asked. 

“So...I was wondering if you had any idea what HYDRA was doing experimenting on an omega.” Steve said, hands on his hips in a stance that was supposed to say I mean business, so listen to me.

Bucky wasn’t bothered by it. He was the biggest, toughest alpha in the tower, aside from the rare occasions Thor was roughing it down on Midgard with the rest of them. The others could puff up and posture all they wanted at him, but it never had any effect. He was always calm and cool, generally disinterested in their displays. He knew he was stronger, and he didn’t need to prove it, especially not when he didn’t have an omega to fight over. 

He shrugged. “I want exactly privy to all their secrets. I know they kept cells full of omegas around for a while.”

“What did they do with them?” Steve asked.

“Whatever they wanted?” Bucky shook his head. “I really don’t know. If they were experimenting on ‘em, that never concerned me.”

“You’ve gotta know something, Buck.” Steve sounded exasperated. 

“Why do you care so much?” He asked. 

“Because something isn’t adding up.” Steve growled. 

“They gave this omega enough heat suppressants to last a lifetime,” Bruce said. “Her system is all kinds of messed up.”

“Makes sense.” Bucky ate another mouthful. “HYDRA wouldn’t want to deal with hormones going crazy or any unplanned pups.”

Steve stared down at his friend. “Did they let you rut?”

“Stevie, at least take me out to dinner before you start asking about my sex life fifty years ago.” Bucky said dryly. 

Steve just raised an eyebrow.

“...yeah. They did. Think they couldn’t stop my ruts.” He relented. 

“So did they...you know…” Steve trailed off awkwardly. 

“Were you ever given omegas to get you through them?” Bruce asked, proving once again how much more capable of having this conversation he was than Steve. 

Bucky finally had to glance away from them in embarrassment. “Well…yeah. But I, uh...the Soldier, he would just kind of...well, they didn’t really last long, if you uh. Catch my drift.”

Steve paled. 

Bruce gulped. 

“...what? Look, I’m better now, I’m way past that. Besides, I never meant to hurt anyone, I wasn’t myself—“

“This omega is a super soldier.” Bruce said quietly.

Bucky’s face dropped, a flicker of something passing over his face. “...what?”

“Finally,” Bruce sighed happily, inhaling the smell of leftover pizza. 

“Bucky, does the number 1096 mean anything to you?” Steve asked. He was sitting in a chair across from his friend, Bruce sitting at the kitchen island while he ate his dinner. 

Bucky shook his head. “Don’t remember any numbers like that. They mostly just called ‘em all omega.”

He was trying to seem cool and collected, but his scent had shifted slightly. Steve could catch just the slightest hint of distress in it, and as he did so, he narrowed his eyes. He may have been separated from Bucky for almost 80 years, but he was still his best friend, and he could tell when he was hiding something. 

“Why would they give the serum to an omega?” Steve asked. 

“Branching out?” Bucky shook his head. “Why do they do anything? They’re HYDRA. They can do whatever they want.”

“So you don’t remember anything about an omega super soldier?”

“I don’t know.” Bucky sniffed defensively. 

“Buck, it’s okay if you do.” Steve growled. “We’re not going to judge you for anything you did. We just want to help her and figure out who she is—“

“Well I don’t know,” Bucky snapped, big fangs bared in a warning. 

Steve responded with a low growl. 

“There’s a lot I don’t remember, or did you forget how many times they wiped my memory?” 

“Seems like you’re hiding something, Buck, and I wanna know what it is.”

“Why do you care? You should just drop it,” Bucky snarled. 

Steve regarded him carefully. Oh yeah. He was definitely hiding something. 

“Hey, hey,” Bruce interrupted from the kitchen, intent on stopping their fight before it could start. “Relax, fellas. Don’t make me get the big guy out to shut you both up.”

Steve backed down. The threat of having the Hulk going after him was enough. Bucky didn’t seem to share the sentiment, though, his lips still pulled back in a blatant display of aggression. It was the first time in a while that Steve had seen him acting so defensively about something, and it was concerning, to say the least. 

“Buck,” he said, voice low with warning. “Are you hiding something?”

Bucky’s nostrils flared angrily and the insinuation that he was keeping secrets, but he managed to reign himself back in, stifling another growl with a loud sigh. 

“I dunno, Steve.” He admitted. “There’s...a lot I don’t remember. If I’m bein’ honest with you, I’m not even sure why I’m feelin’ so worked up about this.”

Steve nodded. It was a relief to hear that Bucky wasn’t acting this way entirely on purpose, at least. 

“You feel okay?” Steve asked. “Not rutting soon, are you?”

“I’m fine, Steve.”

“You sure?”

“I’m sure.” Bucky snorted. After a moment of silence, he spoke up again. “Is the omega, uh...is she okay?”

“Physically, she doesn’t seem to be too worse for wear,” Bruce said from the kitchen. “The only abnormalities I found in our preliminary blood tests were evidence of the suppressants and the serum. Other than being exhausted and needing to adjust to consciousness again after decades of cryo, she’s fine.”

“Good.” Bucky said, a little too quickly. “I mean...that’s good.”

“She should be awake again by tomorrow. Hopefully, she’ll be up for a longer chat then.” 

“You comfortable talking with her?” Steve asked, looking at Bucky. “It might be good for her to see someone else who used to be connected to HYDRA. Might help her ease into everything.”

Bucky gave a nod, already distracted by thoughts of this omega. Was it possible that the girl he saw in his dreams was real? It was hard for him to know what had actually happened to him and what he had imagined, what with HYDRA wiping his memory whenever they felt like it. Ever since he had gained his mental freedom, though, he had been plagued with nightmares, his sleep always filled with the faces of people he had killed. 

As time went on, they were getting better, but they never really stopped. He just...didn’t always have to deal with the worst ones. Sometimes, he even got to have dreams that were...nice. Sometimes, he dreamt of a familiar scent, one he couldn’t really place and that he could never remember when he woke up. Sometimes, he dreamt of an omega, with long, dark hair, and the prettiest eyes he could ever imagine. He always saw her in flashes, a smile here, a sigh there, and with no idea as to who she was or where she came from, he had chalked it up to his mind trying to give him some relief from the nightmares. It had to be wishful thinking, and nothing more. 

Unless it wasn’t. 

He spent a while chatting with Steve and Bruce before retreating to his apartment. With Tony and Pepper gone for the night, spending it in some fancy hotel so that Stark could give a talk at some expo, and most of the others resting after missions, the tower was quiet. It left Bucky too much time to wander and think, and before he knew it, he was making a detour down to Banner’s lab. 

As soon as the elevator doors opened, he paused. What was he hoping to accomplish, exactly? He didn’t have the kind of clearance that Bruce did. He wouldn’t be able to sneak in, and even if he could, what would he do? Appearing at her bedside would just freak the poor omega out, and that wasn’t the kind of first impression he liked to leave these days. 

He shook his head, pressing the button for his floor and leaning back against the elevator wall. He needed to be patient. Tomorrow, when she woke up, he would be able to see her for himself and decide if his weird dreams had any truth to them. 

Not that he was getting his hopes up. He shouldn’t, after all. He would just set himself up for disappointment. 

Just before the elevator doors slid shut, though, the tiniest, faintest hint of a scent wafted in, and Bucky’s eyes widened. He knew it. He knew that scent, or at least...he used to know it. Somewhere, in a part of his mind that he tried to forget about, he had memories of a peaceful, starry night sky, a hint of pine, and a touch of cinnamon. 

Then, the doors closed, and it was gone again, leaving him confused as the elevator rushed upwards.

1. Both Sam and Bucky are trained to be Winter Soldiers at the same time. On one of the shared missions they accidentally form a connection which helps them with slowly getting their memories back, so they can escape together.

2. The Winter Soldier is sent to kill one Samuel Thomas Wilson, but for some reason he just cannot do it. (Or he almost did and regrets it immediately.)

3. Bucky's a mechanic that Sam called to help with repairing the boat and he works very slowly on purpose to have an excuse to see Sam more often.

4. Sam can actually talk to birds (as he should!) and they start to be annoying always asking about his dating life.

5. Sam is a literal angel. That's the prompt. (And canon.)

6. Sam and Bucky go on long, separate vacation. But they somehow end up in the same country, the same town, and the same hotel. Probably the same room too. What a surprise...

7. Bucky knows a lot of things about Sam and Sam is sure he never told him about any of that. Turns out Bucky migh have done some research between 2014 and 2016 when Sam was looking for him.

8. Sam discovers that Bucky had something to do with picking the designs for his new superhero suit.

9. Bucky finally tries to bond with Redwing and Sam does a very bad job at pretending he’s not amused.

10. Bucky has to deal with a painful realisation that Sam is not a supersoldier and that no matter how strong he is he'll always be more likely to get seriously hurt on their missions.

11. When they are frustrated Bucky starts to speak Russian and Sam responds to him in Arabic which doesn't solve the initial problem, but at least it's funny. (Bonus points if one of them - or both - pretends to not now the language the other one's speaking.)

12. Bucky has a terrible reputation and looks dangerous, so everyone prefers to avoid him, but then he meets Sam who just makes fun of his edgy persona all the time... and Bucky for some gay reason lets him. Everyone else is just very confused and worried about Sam’s safety. (Probably some University/High School AU.)

13. [It’s more like an art prompt, but whatever.] They both have long hair now. No plot. Just both of them being in love and appreciating how handsome the other one looks.

14. Since both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan exist in the MCU canon I’d love to see Sam and Bucky’s reactions to their actors being on screen when they watch movies together.

15. Bucky didn’t have much experience with dating since 1940s and he thought he’d be the awkward one once he and Sam get together, but it turns out Sam was never in any relationship, because he was too busy and neglected that part of his life.

16. They both have the canon skills/powers, but only one of them is a superhero. The other is “their” villain. So still enemies to lovers, but a different flavour.

17. Sam always had the ability to talk to birds. He just... forgot to mention it before to other people, including Bucky. So the power-reveal is quite unexpected.

18. Sam and Bucky literally hate each other – it’s not just their canon-like amused annoyance. But then they start to learn what happened to the other one in the past and the feelings slowly shift from hatered into something else. (Might be a No Powers AU)

19. Sam thinks that Bucky misses the 40s. Well, he’s wrong.

20. Sam is a regular civilian (who never met Steve). He finds Bucky right after he escaped HYDRA and helps him go back to normal life. (He might know who he’s helping or not.)

21. Bucky learns about Riley, but he doesn’t learn it directly from Sam.

22. Sam and Bucky come back after the Blip, see each other, and try to deal with the situation together, no knowing what has just happened.

23. Bucky explains to Steve why he won’t go back to the past with him. It’s  mostly because of Sam, obviously.

24. A story about Sam and Bucky growing apart between Endgame and tfatws and how they dealt with feeling like they’re losing yet another person so soon. (And about them coming bact to each other again.)

25. Sam and Bucky learn how other people around them see their relationship. It doesn’t really mirror how they see this partnership themselves.

26. A classic role-swap. Sam is the Winter Soldier. Bucky’s the Falcon. Their personalities stay exactly the same.

27. Sam and Bucky try to tell someone who knows almost nothing about them how they met. (They lie or they don’t.)

28. Bucky deals with people who are openly against Sam as the new Captain. Sam deals with people who think Bucky should be locked up for being “with” HYDRA in the past.

29. Sam is still The Falcon and later Captain America, but Bucky’s a regular person who also happens to be Sam’s huge fan.

30. Dr. Raynor said she heard a lot about Sam (presumably from Bucky). But what exactly did Bucky tell her?

33. After being frozen in Wakanda Bucky lost all memories related to Sam. Sam has to decide whether he should use the opportunity to start the relationship over or let Bucky know about their less-than-ideal beginnings.

34. Sam accidentally gets super-serum. Bucky helps him with adjusting.

35. Bucky accidentally loses super-serum. Sam helps him with adjusting.

36. Sam used to visit Wakanda when Bucky was frozen and talked to him a lot, even when Bucky couldn’t hear him. (Well, couldn’t he?)

37. They have a conversation about Steve, but it’s Sam telling Bucky stories from their friendship (how they met, what they did as fugatives, how Sam feels about Steve leaving without saying goodbye).

38. Sam and Bucky use time travel (because they survived the Snap or for other reasons) and they see the past versions of themselves alone or interacting with each other.

39. Sam and Bucky are stuck in Soul Stone together. The problem is that they cannot really hide their emotions or memories as well as they would be able to as real people.

40. After disappearing in the Snap Sam gets a chance to talk to Riley. They know Sam will eventually come back to life, but they still can spend time together and get some closure that will help with moving Sam’s relationship with Bucky forward.

Facts about He tian:

◇There was a problem, He tian loved the imperfect, he wanted to know more and do more: at his 17 years he escape from that planet, but he lived a long time playing dead, going from planet to planet because his big brother He cheng was looking for him.

◇ The first time that he was found, He Tian took his own eye from his head to be imperfect and not go back to his planet, He cheng just let him go, telling him that the planet probably will kill him now, "You are a failure" tell his brother, but Cheng really loved his little brother, he hope he can survive.

◇When he was 19 Years old, he meet Mo guan shan at the boat of a kind captain (ZZX), Mo was always angry, always sad, Always imperfect, and with time, he tian found what perfection was, his pure heart.

♡When he was young his father was killed by people who thought that he steal gold, his mother was separated from him after this going to another planet for some question, she never come back. He is sure she is still alive, he can feel it, he have to find her.

♡His childhood was full of weird eyes on him and crying all the time for his parents, when he was a teenager he started to be angry at everyone, he hate the life...but inside he was just broken.

♡He lived with his uncle until he start to work at ships with the hope to find his mom in some planet that they arrive.

♡Then he meet he tian, "A handsome guy with no eye? What the fuck is he STARING at me?" With time he become comfortable to have him around, being curious about his eye more than anything.

♡They talked for first time while Mo was making the dinner as a chef and he tian was just standing there, saying noting. Mo spoke first.

♡When they were more closer, Momo cry a lot while the other tell his entire life, He tian had a face of surprise, feeling his heart warm at the empathy Momo could share. And when Momo tell him his life, both were in silence, just grabbing his hands together.

♡Their first kiss was seeing the night sky in the ship, they were alone, it was late.

♡So they fall in love and promise to never be alone again. He tian always wants to talk about "But what if my dad finds me?" Mo never let this be talked. He is afraid of thinking about it.

I'd like to see a completely straight!Charles, out of pure love and care of Erik, initiate a romantic relationship with him. It can be because he wishes to give Erik something positive in his life or because he thinks it might help change Erik's mind about Shaw, the reason is up to author. Also, while Charles finds intimacy with Erik strange and awkward, he does enjoy the new, non-romantic layers that have developed in their relationship.

Except one day Erik comes back to the Xavier mansion to win him back. And even if Charles doesn't want to stop forgetting about him, Erik will do anything he can to convince him otherwise.

Erik is an estate planning lawyer who takes some time off to get away from the big city after his marriage fell apart. He lives in a picturesque lake house by Chautauqua Lake for almost two years, before moving back to New York City. This is in 2019.

Charles is a famous but very private author stuck in a creative rut, and moves to his lakeside estate for a short while to try and find a reason to write again. This is in 2017.

By magic or fate, Charles and Erik discover that the letter box at the lake house has the ability to send letters through time, between Charles in 2017 and Erik in 2019. Through letters that transcend the barriers of time, Charles and Erik fall in love. Charles vows to find Erik two years in his future, and Erik promises to wait for him.
