     garfield could still feel the way that the other’s looked at him in his vision, they HATED him, all four of them, but not only them but the titan’s east as well. for that was his biggest fear, for other’s to leave him. sure they all won by the end of the day and the bad guy was taken down, but like the other’s, beast boy was left with memories of what he had to deal with, if only for moments.

     so when they got home, he needed to get up high, he needed the wind in his hair just so he could remind himself that the fears he dealt with weren’t real, that where he was right now was the present and he didn’t have to worry about all of that.

     the top of the tower was where he went, and wouldn’t you know it, it helped. he had calmed down considerably with the cool air hitting his face and scenery causing bb to forget the visions he had seen. he was smiling once more as he heard the door open from the stairway exit and starfire hovering towards him.

     and that’s when he looked at her with concern.

          “you alright?” he questioned, knowing he wanted nothing more than to talk about what happened just so that he could hear that she didn’t hate him, not like the starfire in his mind. for now though, he would wait for her to answer.

     breath, all gar had to do was breath and he would start to come back to reality. the movies he had been watching lately have been keeping him on edge, so when wally jumped at him like that--he reacted a little too frightened for his own good.

     now he was going to be made fun of for being so scared. he had to think on his feet.

          “scared? i---i wasn’t scared! i....i forgot that i left the oven on at the tower!” yeah! that was it, a perfect lie! “that’s why i screamed like that!”
