How long until you track down The Newsreader and fall for a fully different kind of pathetic wet mess of a man also played by Sam Reid?

Oh my dear Mr. Variety Hour I’m way ahead of ya literally it’s next on my list as we trounce through Sam Reid’s career backlog. And if he’s wet and pathetic in a whole new sort of way both I and @prismatica-the-strange will be VERY pleased. Cannot wait oh now you have me excited.

#I guess we have our watch for the night prisma #so far we’ve gotten through lambs of god (god tier) anonymous (terrible) 2:22 (also terrible sorry michael huissman)#and the lime street golem (not half bad and hi olivia cooke my beloved) and next up is the newsreader and another miniseries he did around #the same time can’t remember what it’s called but he has 2nd billing and that’s what matters #it’s interesting. not as inherently fun as going through the jared harris backlog was but still a wild time #they love doing strange things with sam reid’s hair and makeup and I respect that immensely
