I got home close to midnight from a work trip last Friday and I just realized I am getting zero overtime pay from that 16-hour day because the Monday prior happened to be a federal holiday and OT won't kick in until I've actually worked 40 hours that week 🙃
#they literally just switched my position from getting comp time to getting OT too#and this is the first major instance of that taking effect#so im just getting fucked bc if i still got comp time the holiday wouldnt factor in
