i had my gripes abt the saurians before, but i feel like they're so much easier to use when theres an obvious, game-set goal
#uhh to explain better‚ they feel really shit during exploration and trying to get around the map#but are pretty fun and enjoyable when doing smaller minigames / game-intended exploration paths#to me‚ this clashes with natlans general map design#it has a lot of hills and high up mountains‚ obviously you're supposed to use the saurians for this but i've been using#kachina and she feels SO much better to use than the saurians#they just feel limited...like i never have enough time or phlogiston when using the saurians#atleast w/ kachina‚ you can run and then switch into her skill and then refresh when you run out which gives you even MORE time to climb#and even if you run out of charge / phlogiston with kachina‚ you can still climb. w/ the saurians you just loose all climbing progress and#fall onto the fucking ground and waste time#currently on the cave section in the archon quest btw#which i think has a really good use of the saurians in exploring it which feels super fun#genshin impact#main-tagging this now because i like what i wrote in the tags#yapping about genshin tag
