hiiiiii today's reminder is in two parts because the nct channel has fed us well today

1. the beatbox dance practice vid: pls why are they so cute giggly goofy dream is my absolute favourite. Jaemin twerking, an absolute king. Mark looking scandalised when Renjun took off his jacket. the rap line always unquestioningly following whatever Jaemin does in that one bit when they're walking by the back. Haechan looking very seriously into camera and asking "why am i so sexy". all while dancing like that? i adore them

2. the boxing video: tomorrow I'm gonna see Kun throw some fists and I already refuse to apologise for the person i will become when that happens. Shotaro tearing up (???) because Yangyang teased him, my absolute precious angel. Doyoung looked so fucking good i think i just have a thing for people throwing punches tbh it's always hot as fuck. also i love Jungwoo but he was reminding me so much of my baby sister picking fights for no reason that i got genuinely kinda annoyed at one point and had to stop and come back to it. also everyone in the background throwing salt in the fire, NCT is full of messy bitches. i know we joke about Kun just chilling and having a good little chuckle in these NCT show videos but it was a true joy to see him laugh at their fights and stir more drama.

Hiiii, I wasn't paying attention to the dream video for a second literally the first few seconds when I looked back at my tv I saw a little tushy sticking out behind Jeno didn't even need to do process of elimination or try to remember who has orange hair. It could only be one person. Only one person would randomly start twerking and I love him. Put him on the twerk team with Yeonjun and Kevin Moon from tbz. But I love their goofy dance practice videos the most. Renjun spinning the jacket over his head was the cutest thing ever. Also just realized Chenle isn't Renjun sized any more swear he was just as tiny. When did he grow? He's suppose to be Renjun sized.

I swear I say this everyday but oh my god I love Jungwoo, yes yes he was soooo annoying but its funny. He's so cute, he's literally just like a wound up puppy play fighting. He's so dramatic. But also I can't tell who was telling the truth Jungwoo or Doyoung. Imma be biased and blindly believe everything Jungwoo said. And poor Shotaro just felt left out and yeah if someone calls you out of the blue and you drop everything for them and then they're like guess you were bored like sir... What. But Kun softly assuring Shotaro his feelings were valid was sooo sweet. His tone was so fatherly and warm. But Yangyang not having a single thing to say about Taro and only singing him praises to the point Shotaro was in tears. sweet babies. Theyre so precious. And Shotaro is just a little angel something about his face and voice just makes me so happy. The sweetest baby angel. He was so cute when he said do you hate texting me. My heart. Okay for Taro, I will fight Jungwoo. Dont make my baby sad my other baby. But when Jungwoo said think carefully don't listen these people. I've never laughed so hard oh my god. I've come to a verdict, I love them too.

Also when Hendery asked if they could hit their opponent. Honestly that's what I was hoping for to see them go Teen Top on each other. Chunji took out like five members with a jump kick. They were always fighting it bled into their mvs. Like when they fought on the beach or when Chunji pushed ljoe into Changjo so hard the lockers went back in the locker version of Miss Right. I love Teen Top. Also B1A4, I remember when Sanduel was beating Baro with those leeks. Haechan always reminded me of that moment. Seems like something he'd do. Back when the moment you heard Brave sound you knew the song was gonna be good.

qcyn ep 10 aka an episode that really made me happy!! but also really made me miss season 1..........

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG WU CHENGZE AND CHEN SIJIAN AND XU FANGZHOU OMGOMGOMG IM SO HAPPY FOR THEM!!!!!! OMGOMGOMG THAT BOTTOM ROW AHHHH I WAS SO SURE THAT CHENGZE WASNT GONNA MAKE IT BUT OMGOMOGMOG YESSS AND THANK GOODNESS SIJIAN OMGGGG YESSSHSHSHS AHHHHHH

tbh this was a minimal lin mo exposure ep but its ok, im still grateful that he got a few random closeups (which is more than i can say for some of the others) and now that hes safely in top 20 i honestly think my work here is done LOL. there’s not much more lin mo fans can do for him. theyve gotten him onto all the stages and i dont think any amount of work will get him into top 9... and ive said before i dont even really want him in top 9 bc id rather he stay with mr tyger and help them stay relevant bc theyll need his help to do so, especially since jia yi will probably make top 9.

(from here is where i go into a rant about season 1 vs season 2.... LOL)

lets be honest, ranking 16 is too low for lin mo to make it lol....... last season the only kid who made top 9 who wasnt already in top 9 by ep 10 was yanjun... and yanjun had been on a steep upward trend leading up to the last ep (lin mo went from 17 to 16... theres minimal momentum there lol) and then bi wenjun going from 12 to 10 was the other surprise. xikan going from 18 to 13 was impressive, but he still wasnt one of the contenders for the 9th spot. i think at the end it was bu fan, qian zhenghao, bi wenjun and you zhangjing right? out of those 4, the lowest ranked in ep 10 was bi wenjun at 12..... so going from 16 up to 9 would be really really unlikely, unless lin mo somehow makes an even greater impression on the audience during the mentor collab stage than yanjun did last year.... which i think will be impossible bc literally the entire audience fell in love with yanjun during the “zero” performance in last season’s ep 11 lol it was crazyyyy.... but anyway i think ive reminisced about last season enough this rant.... can you tell i really miss it? honestly ive tried to stay as positive as i could throughout watching qcyn and i gave iqiyi the benefit of the doubt from the beginning that “oh maybe it just doesnt seem as great as the first season bc we havent gotten to know the kids yet, the show’s just started, we’ll learn to love it later” ---- but we’re on ep 10 now and i just.......... i still dont think i got to know the kids as well as i did last season and its not their fault, theyre not any less lovable kids (some of them i really like!!! more than some of the kids from last season!) but this season’s editing is really just disappointing. i really miss last season and it was honestly so much more enjoyable to watch..... i thought about this the other day, if lin mo had been eliminated during the last round, would i still be watching this show? and i thought about it and i honestly think i would... because i really like some of the other kids like mingming, junjie, xixi, jia yi, guan yue, chen sijian, etc. but i really dont think id be as eager to stay up to date with it. ive fallen behind on yaa and dont even look forward to watching fanafan anymore bc lin mo hasnt been on any of those (no, i dont count the yaa ep he literally only got 1 second of screentime in) these side shows are fun, but not as fun as fanafan from last season. they feature the same kids over and over again (literally yuehua trio was the ONLY kids on fanafan 2 weeks ago and then they were 1/3 of the ep last week too??? and hmm how come there are kids who have been on yaa multiple times yet there are also kids who have never been on it at all???? that’s just so unfair.....) without fanafan from last season, would you zhangjing have made it into top 9?? fanafan was the medium thru which he really showed us how hilarious and fun and lovable and sweet and sassy he was (whereas on the actual show he showed us his true, undeniable talent) and im just here wondering, if qcyn’s fanafan had featured ye ziming half as much as they had featured you zhangjing or his partner in crime yanjun (who both ended up making top 9), would he have at least made top 35? or how about chen sijian and wu zelin? or feng junjie?? or su yuhang?? where would they be now? why hasnt lin mo been on fanafan at all??? if given the chance, would people actually be appreciating zhan yu’s hilariously weird and crazy personality that we NEVER got to see?? sigh..........

heres ur headcanons hinata! i hope u like them, and if u want something changed let me know and ill get it done! - mod kiibo

- hinata never really expected to like ibuki as much as he ended up liking her. in fact, at first he thought she was a bit weird and just too all over the place. the more he got to know her, though, the more he realized that he actually really liked those things about her and that he wanted to be with her

- the two of them spend a lot of time joking around and giggling. hinatas not even really sure if ibuki likes him, but when they spend time together hinata finds that he has a huge blush on his cheeks. every single time

- once the two or them start getting closer, hinata actually goes and writes lists detailing all the reasons why ibuki is so precious to him. he likes to save them for a rainy day, plus he really likes reading through them and remembering all the reasons why he likes her so much

- speaking of rainy days, hinata likes to use these lists whenever he notices that ibukis feeling upset. along with spending time with her and checking to see if shes ok, he likes to leave his huge lists somewhere where he knows ibuki will see it and says its from an anonymous person

- hinata has tried to confess to ibuki multiple times, actually. usually, it goes one of two ways. one of the ways it tends to go involves hinata telling ibuki "i love you," and then getting nervous and saying that he was just joking around. ibuki just tends to stay quiet for a few moments before laughing a bit awkwardly

- the other way his confessions tend to go involves hinata telling ibuki that he loves her, and ibuki starts smiling big and wide, before pulling hinata into a hug and saying "aww, i love u too! ur one of my best friends, why wouldnt i?" and hinata is always too embarrassed to correct her

- whenever ibuki wants to touch up her hair dye, though, hinata is always more than willing to help. in fact, he really likes helping her put the dye in her hair so that he can feel how soft her hair is while actually having an excuse for why hes running his fingers through her hair. plus, ibuki even thanks him for it!

- for special occasions, such as christmas and ibukis birthday and white day, hinata tries to get her the biggest and sweetest presents out of everyone he knows. and theyre always things that are really cheesy or things shes been telling him she wants for the longest time. and she wont stop thanking him and tells him "i love u, bro" and hinata is embarrassed but really happy

- hinata really likes watching romance movies with ibuki, as long as theyre actually well written and not just some overly cheesy romcom. he always kinda wishes to himself that the two of them could be like the people in those movies. at least he gets to sit and enjoy watching the movies with her

- the day hinata decides to actually confess to ibuki, he has to make sure he clarifies himself that yes, hes in love with her, and he means that as more than a friend, and hes completely serious, and he wants to know if she could ever love him back. his heart is beating fast and his whole face is red waiting for her response to see whether his heart will break or not
