She laughs at my remarks and kisses the corner of my lips, causing a whine to leave my lips. "Behave." I listen for the moment. We make our way inside, and I see all the girls playing in the water. I almost forgot that tsubakill members were eliminated. Then I see Mina running up to me. "Omg, you made it. I thought you weren't gonna come. Almost had to beg Bada to get you here." I turn around and look at Bada while hugging Mina.

"Of course, I made it. I mean, who would miss a free pool day." We chuckle at each other before she grabs my hand, and I turn to look a Bada seeing her motion towards Bebe. Letting me know where they will be. "I just thought with Corey and everything you would be busy, you know," she says while sitting us down, making sure to place a cushion under me. I nod as a sign of thanks. "I mean, he was eager to come when I told him this morning, though I think he completely forgot. He was only focused on the fact that I was waking him up early." We laugh together, and soon the whole crew of DeepnDap comes over, greeting me. Though, since I mainly know Mina, I stick with her throughout the day. We talk for what feels like hours. She gets a bit touchy after seeing her with her members. I notice that's just how she is. I can't help but feel a certain stare on me, knowing who it is I excuse myself.

I walk over to the table, grabbing something to drink. Until I hear breathing behind me, startling me. I turn and find Bada looking at me with a smirk on her face. "You scared the shit out of me, baby. Don't do that." She completely disregards my statement. "You and Mina seem to be getting along quite well, don't you think?" I grab my chest startled by her walking up on me. "Bada what the fuck, my heart can't take all that, and I don't know what you're talking about." I simply nod as she pulls down my thong bottoms and immediately shoves a finger in my pussy. "I fucked how many times last night and you're still fucking tight. "Good luck in USA guys!" you said and they all thank you letting your boy give you one last kiss before they all went inside.

When he was told he shouldn't train today due to gastroenteritis, Pablo was already in the bad mood so when he went to watch the training hearing his teammates talk about you made him fuming mad.

"Damn that shorts looks good on her!" Ferran said while doing pushups. If he meant you have a nice ass, Pablo already knew that..he knew that very well!

"Not to mention that she is so cute because she is short!!" Balde smirked noticing that Pablo was overhearing their conversation. Your height was one of Pablo's favorite things especially because he always gets to raise your chin to kiss you.

"And she is shy.." Pedri said while Balde added " and I heard shy girls are hottest in bed!" and that was the last straw making Pablo walk away and text you to get him. Stupid cabróns!

"Hola amor! I'm sorry about your tummy ache" you said when you picked up Pablo who was clearly agitated but you just assumed it was because he couldn't play.

When you arrived home, you went to the bedroom in order to change but Pablo followed grabbing your body and pulling it on the bed. He towered above you starting to kiss and suck on your neck.

"Q..que haces??" your voice was shaky from how good his lips felt on your skin but you were confused what got him in such a mood all of the sudden.

"I want to mark you princesa!" he growled into you neck and you felt your panties become wet from those words but still wondering why all of the sudden. You both agreed to not have visible marks because of media and paparazzi but Pablo suddenly changed his mind? Why??

"What happened today Pablo? Where is this coming from cariño??" you ask and he moved back a little signing in frustration.

"They talked about you..and I don't like it!" he said and you blushed now realizing it was jealousy that pushed your boy to suddenly "mark you". You just smirked at his behavior.

"Please let me mark you princesa..I want to see their faces when they realize you're all mine!" he said and you blushed nodding your head and moving a little to give him easier access to your neck where he left numerous hickeys and marks before 'marking you' in another way too.

The next day he came to training bringing you along on purpose and when you passed his teammates, they could all clearly see the new marks decorating your neck. Pablo was very pleased with the whole situation.

"Thank you amor!" he whispered kissing your lips while you sat on the stands ready to watch the training.

"Mhm..no worries amor..I love being all yours Gavira" you winked and he smirked nodding his head before running to the pitch to join the training.

"Damn that Pablo is a lucky cabrón!" Balde said..damn right!

"His girl is really special" Ferran added..yeah, she is MINE cabrón!

"That's much better" Pablo said to himself and when asked by his teammates if he said something he shook his head looking towards you and winking as you sent him a kiss.

Random Thoughts about The Rebound Ep 5 and 6 :

Let's give credit where its due, The Rebound remains a compelling story and these two new episodes haven't changed my view on the series. It's truly an interesting sport series. Even if you're not a fan of basketball or a fan of the main actors. I'm neither of those and I still find a real pleasure watching it. I would even say, it shouldn't deter you from giving it a chance.

▪️ So Ryu and Zen were back to square one in their relationship and they couldn't stand each other anymore in these episodes. Their disagreement was starting to be an obstacle for the team as they were constantly fighting on the court. Their coach figured out a way for them to make peace. He forced them to be tied to each other for 24 hours. When you can't escape the other one, you're forced to deal with it. It was easy to see they both missed each other, but what happened in the past is still remaining a sore point between them. Of course, Zen is still sad and lost about the disappearance of Ryu in the past, but we kind of get pretty fast that it's not the only thing which hurt him. From the beginning of the 5th episode, we had a flashback of Ryu and Zen when they were in middle-school. They were both showering and helping rubbing soap to each other. Then, they got this moment… There are a lot of interrupted moments between them. Zen was fully expecting Ryu to kiss him and he was eager to do it… but then Ryu freeze and decided not to do it. I believe Zen was clearly hurt by this too. Even if he can't really say it out loud, he has these very strong feelings for Ryu and he finds himself constantly disappointed by him. While being force to stay together all the time, Ryu and Zee's anger quietly dissolved to make they find their strong bond again.

▪️ The state of the team is totally linked to whatever Ryu and Zee are feeling when they are playing with the rest of the team players. When they are both in their right mind and happy with each other, the team is able to success in anything they want to do. Otherwise, when they are at odds or something is bothering them, the team isn't able to work well together. I'm not saying the rest of the players are just here to make contrast, but most of them remains solely background character. Only few of them seems to be important to the story: Jed who is mostly the comic relief, Prince who has a special bond with Jed (but it remains to be really seen), Shogun who is the basketball prodigy and Jedi as Ryu's friend. Lin is totally the token girl of the series who will be used to create some tension between the main couple as she has a crush on Ryu. Thankfully the story seems to have provided her with an alternative choice when she will see that she has no chance of being with her crush.

▪️ Last week, I thought it was Ryu who was hurt because he couldn't get Zen to see his feelings for him. I felt he was the one who was showing more his love. I think it was because both Q and Atom questioned him about it. It made me think it was him who was, at the moment, more in love or more aware of his feeling. However, now that I watched episode 5 and 6, it seems to me that it's the opposite. Zen is the one who has already accepted his romantic feelings for his friend, while Ryu isn't really sure about it. I mean, he likes/loves Zen. It was shown countless times, but at the same time, he doesn't really want to talk about it or to make others know about it. By the end of episode 5, we get a kiss between them. It was full of lingering feelings for something they wanted to experience before, but didn't get to. The way Ryu was slowly moving his face towards Zen to kiss him sweetly. He was also stroking Zen's hand. It felt to me like he was finally experiencing something he deeply wanted to do, for a long time. Ryu didn't have any hesitation and gladly consented to this kiss because it is also something he desires. The moment is truly precious for them and it is reinforced by the melody of the soundtrack. However, when Ryu heard the sound of the dropped bottle, he quickly opened his eyes and you could see how scared he was and he turned over fast. It left Zen alone who was still looking at him, as if he was still processing everything. Ryu was flustered and he was looking at the ceiling, while Zen was still looking at him, hurt again. I get deeply emotional thinking about this scene.

▪️ Let's talk about Atom now. I have to make amends. I was so hard on him last time after I described my thoughts about episode 3 and 4. I felt like we couldn't trust him and he would hurt Zen… Turns out, he is better than I thought he would be. I think he really wants to make a friend. Since he never really seems to have a real friend in his life, the first person who was nice to him, he got too attached. The way he wants to be close to Zen is so wrong, but at the same time, I believe he just doesn't know how to do it. That's why it gets across as clingy and a bit controlling. I'm not saying he is right. I'm just feeling like he needs to understand boundaries and how to create a healthy friendly relationship with someone. There is also the fact, that he doesn't just want to be friend with Zen, but he also has a tiny crush on him too. Atom has grown in a family that expects him to devote his time to sport. His father seems to be really authoritarian and Atom can't really do what he wants. It seems he made really a lot of effort to be available when he met Zen. I felt bad for him. It is not easy to grow up in a family where you have to constantly prove your worth and when they expect you to stand out. Now we know he is also a basketball player in a rival team. I'm glad he remains true to sport values and didn't befriend Zen because of this. Of course, he becomes the perfect love rival for Ryu and he seems determined to be close to Zen. I wonder what it will bring. Now that he is again in my good book, I feel like I'm back with the same dilemma I had while watching Deep Night where I couldn't decide if Seiji had to be with Pan or Ken.

▪️ I also felt really bad for Q. It seems to me that he is stuck in this life without any way of escaping it. Yes, his relationship with Boss Tos is hot, but at the same time it’s kinda pitiful. There is nothing sexy or healthy in their relationship. Q doesn’t seem to have any feelings for him and he only has sexual intercourse with him to protect Ryu. However, it’s not exactly working well and he is back into threatening Ryu to work for them and to play street basketball. Q is always dragging Ryu back to the trappings of his past. At the same time, we can’t deny the protectiveness Q has for him. I really think he has his best interest at heart, but unfortunately Q is not a big shot in the “streets”. He is just a small fry.

I really want to see what is going to happen in the next episodes.

Looking Back on Nijiyon Animation With Manga Artist Miyakohito and Director Yuya Horiuchi!

Nijiyon Animation is a slice-of-life short animation series that aired in January 2023. Let's take a look back at this show depicting the day-to-day lives of the Nijigaku members, along with commentary from the staff involved in its production♪

Question for Manga Artist Miyakohito! Q. What did you focus on when creating the story?

Question for Director Yuya Horiuchi! Q. What did you focus on regarding the direction?

Episode 1: "The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club"

Yu arrives at the School Idol Club with a video camera. She films their snack time to introduce their everyday lives to their fans. When the camera is finally turned on her as "the one thing in the club that can't be left out," she boldly states, "I'll be the one to make all of you happy!" She's then confronted with the question of who her number one is.

Miyakohito's Comment: Throughout this series, it was a new experience for me to think about how to present it not only as a manga but also as an animation. It starts from a first-person perspective because Yu-chan's existence was born from "you."

(TL Note: "You" refers to the player character from Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars)

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: All of the storyboards for Nijiyon Animation were based on Miyakohito-san's manga, but we expanded the parts of the story that weren't long enough during the storyboarding process. Because of this, I felt like I had to do my best to make the show more appealing in those parts.

Episode 2: "Lanzhu, Ai, and Cuteness"

Lanzhu and Ai have a cuteness contest with Mia, Shioriko, and Emma as the judges. They try the cute poses they learned from Kasumi, but they can't seem to get them right. Mia and Shioriko, the harsh judges, give accurate scores, but Emma's overly sweet evaluations keep skyrocketing, eventually exceeding a "kazillion"…!?

Miyakohito's Comment: The various animation techniques used make it really enjoyable to watch. Their calculated cuteness is nice too, but the 2 girls getting flustered and showing their true selves is worth 100 kazillion points.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: Episode 1 was mainly about introducing the members, so Episode 2, with Lanzhu and Ai's cuteness, Lanzhu pressuring Shioriko, Kasumi getting carried away, and Emma's sweet scoring that knows no bounds, is one with the Nijiyon style on full display.

Episode 3: "Mia, Ayumu, and Horror"

The club members watch a scary movie together. Mia falls asleep and gets lost in a dark school building in her dream. Rina-chan Boards are pasted all over the walls, and Ayumu's hair bun falls off and starts saying, "Let's play…"!? When Mia wakes up, she's still afraid of Ayumu, unable to shake off the lingering memory of her nightmare.

Miyakohito's Comment: I didn't realize how much funnier the second half would be as a horror when it's animated…! I mean, the production was so over the top I laughed.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: Since I like horror, I made them create an unconventional work (laughs). Mia's cheeky attitude adds a nice bit of character. By the way, I call that round part of Ayumu the "Ayumu Orb." I'd like to make something similar for the other members to replace the Ayumu Orb—in other words, I want to make more horror episodes.

Episode 4: "Karin, Shioriko, and Futures"

Karin came from her home island to become a model. She shares her childhood memories as a troublemaker living on the island with Shioriko, who says she wants to use her story to help the students. However, she looks a little sad, saying she left because she wanted to be a cool older girl who lives in the city. Shioriko then tells her her dream has come true.

Miyakohito's Comment: I had the pleasure of drawing the first appearance of little Karin-chan. The content also goes a step deeper this time. In the manga version, which you can read as an included bonus in the Nijiyon Animation Blu-ray, you can see the students in the last part.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: It seems Karin has loved pandas since she was little. I thought the visuals of her in her childhood looked boyish and the contrast between then and now was cute. I was a little obsessive about the squishy texture at the beginning.

Episode 5: "Emma, Mia, and Songs"

Mia hears Emma's singing voice and encourages her to become a singer. She dreams of making the songs herself and recording them in New York City, but Emma tells her she hasn't thought that far ahead. She says she wants to gently be there for people, just like the school idol songs that gave her courage in the past….

Miyakohito's Comment: Mia came to Japan to achieve results while hiding what she truly wants to do, whereas Emma came to Japan to do what she truly wants to do. I'm certain Emma's singing voice makes Mia's heart feel warm and fuzzy.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: I hadn't seen Emma and Mia talk much, so I thought it'd be a nice change of pace. Emma's bashful "What?" is my favorite part because it's adorable. I thought it might be hard to include 2 a cappella songs, but I'm glad they made it in.

Episode 6: "Rina-chan RunRuns"

Rina develops a new mobile game. She asks Yu, Ai, and Shioriko to playtest it to make sure even beginners can enjoy it. A week after the 3 have fun playing together, many people have played Rina's game, and the rankings have become a hot topic. However, the person ranked higher than Setsuna and Mia, who are skilled at games, is… "SASUKE"!?

Miyakohito's Comment: This is the essence of CG animation. Thank you for the fantastic visuals that make me want to actually play the game! The 3 players' names were a particular point of attention in the manga version.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: The storyboard for this episode was drawn by 3D Director Tatsuguchi-san. Thanks to his work, the characters in the game world were cute, and it turned out to be a wonderful scene. It'd be a shame to have that game world appear only once.

Episode 7: "Lanzhu and the Joker"

The club members play cards in the clubroom. Lanzhu's more eager than anyone to play Old Maid, but when she sees the only joker left at the end, she dejectedly muses, "The special card is always alone in the end." To cheer her up, Ai pulls out another joker and passes it to her. Now with a pair, Lanzhu is overjoyed!

Miyakohito's Comment: The joker watches alone as those around him pair up one after another. The once-lonely Lanzhu, who had always been on her own, is paired with a special place thanks to the hand that was continuously extended to her. The way the background music "Tokimeki e! (To a Thrill!)" comes in is the best.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: This episode is a heart-warming one, showing once again how Lanzhu is accepted by the club. I figured she'd be bad at Old Maid since she has an easy-to-read personality, so I brought back a familiar card game scene. By the way, Lanzhu's shotgun shuffle scene is my favorite.

Episode 8: "Kanata, Shizuku, and Little Sisters"

Shizuku meets the Konoe sisters while walking her pet dog Ophelia. She and Haruka go all out playing on the beach while Kanata and Ophelia enjoy relaxing in the sun. The 2 pairs are somewhat similar. Finally, tired out from playing, Haruka falls asleep and mistakes Ophelia for Kanata in her stupor!?

Miyakohito's Comment: A very laid-back episode. It was difficult to add more members to the show, but I was happy to see Haruka-chan and Ophelia make an appearance.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: The episode is about Kanata and Shizuku, but I think Haruka stood out the most… But it's okay because she was cute at the end, right!? As for why Shizuku is taking a walk in Odaiba, I think she wanted to show Ophelia the scenery there. I'm sure her parents gave them a ride.

Episode 9: "Bestest Little Sister Tournament"

Kasumi proclaims, "Cute people have what it takes to be little sisters!" and holds the "Bestest Little Sister Tournament." Shioriko and Mia, who are actually little sisters, are somewhat embarrassed when the topic comes up. Rina, who was watching the situation, mutters, "Big Sis Yu," and Yu melts…! Showing overwhelming little sister power, Rina is crowned the winner.

Miyakohito's Comment: The many faces of Kasumi are one of the highlights of this episode (and the next), as is Rina-chan's destructive power. I also drew the mascot characters at the end.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: Rina has a mysterious wave (brainwashing?) called Little Sister Aura. I like it. The mascot characters at the end were drawn by Miyakohito-san, but some are cut off due to space limitations… Sorry… If you're interested in them, please check the manga included in the Blu-ray!

Episode 10: "Kasumi, Setsuna, and Surprises"

Setsuna always gives perfect performances as a school idol. The members of the club, led by Kasumi, discuss ideas for playing a surprise on her, but they're unable to come up with any good ones. The next day, there's trouble when the sound and lights go out during her actual concert. She starts singing a cappella, captivating the entire audience…!

Miyakohito's Comment: The fact that the lighting and sound weren't fixed until the end can be explained as them being seen and heard in Setsuna's performance ability. I made some excessive requests for the live show scene and special ending song… Thank you.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: Setsuna does a live performance during the end credits. I'd be happy if we could do a live show scene with all the members someday. I like Ai's surprise plan idea "Pandemonium With Pandas" very much.

Episode 11: "Yu and Childhood Friends"

Ayumu turns down Yu and Lanzhu's invitation to go out to practice instead. When Yu sees her worn-out shoes, she decides to watch her. Shioriko sees them together and says she has a childhood friend she's proud of as well. Yu can't take her eyes off Ayumu's hard work and continues watching her practice into the evening….

Miyakohito's Comment: Yu-chan has been seeing Ayumu's profile more since she became a school idol. The way Ayumu chases her dreams with expressions unlike those she usually shows her must be stirring up all kinds of emotions within her. By the way, Ayumu is practicing "Awakening Promise" in the manga version.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: When I saw the manga from Miyakohito-san, my first thought was "the origin and the peak." Thank you! It's funny how the image of childhood friends is completely different for Yu and Ayumu, and Lanzhu and Shioriko.

Episode 12: "The Piano and School Idols"

The music room echoes with the sound of the piano played by Yu. She tells Setsuna, who's come to cheer her on, that she's grateful to her for inspiring her to pursue her dream and introducing her to her thrill. Then, as if guided there, the members gather and begin to sing in chorus to her accompaniment. Surrounded by everyone's singing voices, it brings a heartfelt smile to her face as she realizes how glad she is to have joined the club.

Miyakohito's Comment: I wanted this episode to be a finale, so I included references to the Nijigasaki anime throughout. The first scene is also a homage to the first episode of the Love Live! TV anime (the scene where Honoka meets Maki playing the piano in the music room), as it has been exactly 10 years since it aired.

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: Thank you for such a wonderful episode to conclude Nijiyon Animation. There's an emotional intensity that can only be felt through the relationship between Yu and Setsuna here! A rainbow appears at the end, which is a nod to the events of the Nijigasaki anime.

BD Bonus Episode 13: "Yu and the School Idol Club 1"

Now presenting, Kasumi, who wants to make Yu fall for her; Shizuku, who wants to make Yu a pair of gloves; Karin, who wants Yu to compliment her makeup; and Ai, who wants to make Yu laugh with her jokes♪

BD Bonus Episode 14: "Yu and the School Idol Club 2"

The selfish princess Kanata, Setsuna who loves lots of things, Emma using Yu's lap as a pillow, and Rina drawing Yu's face as a Rina-chan Board. It's an episode with all of them.

BD Bonus Episode 15: "Yu and the School Idol Club 3"

Shioriko wants to be pampered by Yu, Mia wants to be depended on by Yu, Lanzhu is flustered by Yu's feelings, and Ayumu is embarrassed by Yu's support… Everyone's daily life is lively!

Miyakohito's Comment: Most of Episodes 13-15 were adapted from the manga I made years ago in preparation for the day when I could draw "you" in Nijiyon. It worked out perfectly to use them, as 3 episodes amounted to 12 4-panel comics. By the way, I also pitched ideas for the ending visuals. I compiled a collection of everyday scenes that couldn't be depicted in the main story. I'm glad they were brought to life so cutely in animation! Furthermore, I'm deeply honored to have been given the opportunity for such a valuable experience and a new challenge. I'd like to take this chance to once again express my gratitude to all the staff, cast members, and to you. Thank you so much!

Yuya Horiuchi's Comment: Each of the bonus episodes have stories with Yu. Although they're short, there are many highlights such as Kasumi falling hard, Shizuku's casual appeal, Karin's embarrassed self, Ai's panic, Kanata's indulgent ways, Setsuna's forgetfulness, Emma's honesty, Rina's sociability, Shioriko's little sister attribute, Mia's simplicity, Lanzhu's fluster, and Ayumu's cuteness!

So here you were on the door of your apartment as the bell had rung suddenly. To say you were confused was an understatement, you weren't waiting for anyone right?

As you got closer and opened the door revealing ricky with your favourite flowers your heart skipped a beat, smiling shyly at your boyfriend that was staring at you with the sweetest smile ever.

"Just a little something for my baby"he said as he entered inside.

However what you noticed is that he had something else that he was hiding on his back.

"Uhm, babe what is that?"you asked pointing at the little box he held in his hands.

"Oh, you'll see"

Yeah that sounded a little bit suspicious in your opinion.

As he gave it to you and you opened the little box it revealed a delicate and precious gold necklace with two letters hanging ever so gently. And I am not judge but just by looking at it you could tell that it was not the cheapest thing...

"Ricky, you didn't have to"you whined

"Of course I had to, you are really special to me y/n"

Blushing by his comment and hitting lightly his chest you answered back: "i know that, but there are plenty other ways of showing it idiot"

But actually this was kinda more special to him indeed because he hadn't just bought it for you, he had the time and the dedication to order a custom made gift for you. But you didn't know that yet, so curiosity getting the best out of you led you to ask him another question.

"But why are the initials S and Q? Those aren't my initials" (if they are let's just pretend they aren't for the plot to continue ahahshs)

"But they're mine, so you can always have me by your side" (yeah from shen quanrui if you are wondering)

And that's when you felt a literal festival of emotions exploding on your stomach, you had never seen this side of ricky. I mean the one where he spoiled you yes, but not this kind of more personal and close to his heart one, he almost felt kind of vulnerable and unprotected here but everything he did came from deep inside his heart so he hoped you treasured his efforts.

The blush on your cheeks gave away the state you were at right now, and your eyes full of love did too.

"You can't just go there doing that to me y'know?"

"Doing what?"he smiled giggling at your behaviour

"Spoiling me that much, I feel bad. But this one was really cute of you to do, thank you"

"You don't have to feel bad love, that's just my way of expressing my love, I do this because all these little details remind me of you"

"That's kinda cheesy..., but I'll take it"

He then grabbed the necklace and helped you to put it around your neck positioning himself behind you while you held your hair high to make it easier for him. After he finished, he pressed a small kiss on the back of your neck lovingly and made you twirl to see how it fitted you perfectly.

That literally made him fall in love all over again,making him the happiest person on earth.

Now looking back at the first time he gifted you something,you probably wouldn't have guessed how much he would spoil you in the future, but if he truly wanted to be like that you would accept it BUT drawing the line of course, because we all know this man would most definitely buy you the moon and all the stars if he was capable of so. to say that ran gave up was an understatement, and even rin realized this as he succumbs to the overwhelming gloomy aura around ran as he makes homemade chocolate. rin was conflicted to comfort him or just leave him be, for once in this entire fiasco, has he felt guilty for ran.

pacing back and forth, wishing they could have the courage to reply but none spared. They liked the guy but felt defeated, wishing he would be honest but who would in this situation? all they could do was rush to the university and hope for the better and for some courage to be left.

As soon as [name] and yuzuha stepped foot into the campus, it felt as if guilt was sucking [name] alive. it didn't make sense, he wasn't in the campus, was he? thoughts shaked and rattled through their mind as they went inside the building and walk towards their desks.

OH RIGHT

So right off the bat, V can't divorce. At all. They legitimately can't, only their spouse can initiate the divorce, and they, frankly, don't want to and don't care to. You could go up to them and tell them V has been cheating and they'd tell you to get the fuck off their property. Their relationship is incredibly complicated. Even mentioning to V they should divorce, they get antsy and grumpy and tell you to stop bringing it up.

V doesn't have... A proper understanding of poly versus monogamy and relationships outside of marriage in general. In fact, if they could put it into words, they lean very much into a monogamous, exclusive relationship, if they had a choice. It's just that Quincy is a very special case and their spouse is a different can of warms all together.

So you telling them that you can help them with money, egging for a divorce, they would just become more and more anxious and beg you to stop talking about it.

As for Quincy, if you were focused in on the allegations, they'd be a bit surprised. Would sit down and explain that in the city, they usually attend parties that are sexual in nature and would spend time with people there and find out later they're married. They don't really care about it, because while yes, those people were married, on the other hand, they were not in a relationship and didn't know. Either way, they've been classed as a scandalous opera singer. They won't enjoy being shamed for liking sex, if that's what you're here to do. Would get angry if you bring up V as an example, and tells you firmly that V is off the table for discussions, since they're a special case. They are not a cheater and if you were uneasy with theirs and Quincy's closeness, then they will talk about it with V and spend less time with them.

If the player is in a relationship with V, they'd understand the reasons for all of this, as it would be explained to them. However, Quincy would refuse to tell them unless V has the status of the MC's best friend and then both would explain. Otherwise, firmly wants V to have their privacy.

GitS Q&A GO!!

Ghost made the entirety of the security system, though Donnie had some input into it. Normally Donnie likes to make new things, and Ghost keeps up the maintenance on the old things. He wants to let Donnie kinda do what he wants, because Ghost feels like he's "had his time" to dream and make whatever he wanted. He's modified a gaming system for Raph and a controller that's big enough to hold in his hands, Ghost has also modified all their cellphones for safety purposes and so they can just snag any signal from any cell phone tower.

He does. A lot.

Right after Ghost got out of the Battle Nexus, he slept a lot. He dreamed of his brothers so much he started wanting to be asleep more than awake. It got to the point where he wasn't really sure what was a dream/nightmare and what was real. He started drinking coffee again (he'd stopped during Battle Nexus) and it helped keep him awake. He started learning things like Japanese to pass the time.

He still has dreams that disorient him at first. He got into the habit of reminding himself every morning that they're gone. A depressing way to start the day, but it grounds him, and reminds him that the kids aren't gone.

Considering Repo pushed Donnie and then subsequently tried to murder his children after going back on his deal with them, Ghost hates his guts.

2003 Donnie gets pissed at Ghost for leaving. But they talk, and figure things out eventually. Actually a good way to look at this one is by reading Ghost on the Server. 2003 Don goes OFF on Ghost.

Ghost finds it weird until he figures out that Draxum made the kids on purpose. Then it makes more sense to him. Ghost is pretty prepared, he knows a lot about turtles in general. He had to basically figure out their anatomy from scratch as a kid, though he HAS refrained from doing any intensive scans on the kids so far. He trusts their biology works basically the same way as he and his brothers', which it does. The biggest difference is that Ghost has no bridges (the hard sides of the boys' shells) which means he can't pull himself into his shell.

The first time Mikey popped into his shell he nearly had a heart attack.

Ghost is fine with it. He realized pretty quickly that Raph being noticeably the biggest and a year or two older than his brothers made him naturally take the leadership position. His own Leo naturally fell into the leadership position too, there was no announcement that he was the leader or anything, it was just that Leo was the most responsible, cool-headed, and quickest to make a decent plan. Ghost has sort of shifted his "don't carry the world on your shoulders" lessons more towards Raph in this case.

He does look at Leo sometimes and wonder if his own Leonardo would have been like that had he not been crushed under responsibility and a desire to let his brothers dream and be kids.

Yup! Ghost gives them lessons like school. Donnie generally didn't need them, but Ghost gives Donnie special assignments instead to enrich his learning so he isn't so bored. He kind of tailors their learning to them, so his teaching is done in short bursts with lots of visuals and hands-on examples. He focuses more on practical lessons that they can use in real life and moral lessons from history. He also teaches them all battlefield medicine, so Leo's not the only one who can patch them up in an emergency.

Medea Played Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, The DLC's (Part I)

Yeah, it's been a minute. I've been holding off on doing one of these since the first DLC that dropped back in December really didn't wow me as much as I thought it would. So I waited until the second one dropped. Only to learn that an epilogue was coming soon thereafter. That was awfully kind of them. Okay, sit back.

Maybe throw away that sandwich you've been holding onto since November of 2022.

At the start, Jacq-strap tells you about an opportunity to go on a school trip to Kitakami. A region that was just pulled out of thin air...

And here we are!

You're in Kitakami with three randos from the academy, being chaperoned by Ms. Briar, who is an instructor at Blueberry Academy in Unova. And if that doesn't sound familiar to you, it will soon enough.

Soon after, you are accosted and insulted by one of Blueberry Academy's finest asses, Carmine.

The little one behind Carmine is her little brother Kieran. Now that I finished that interruption. I gotta do something really important.

There we go. I am complete. I can finally get a Clefable in these games.

A girl and her Clefable. Is there anything more perfect in this world?

I suppose I should look around this small region.

There's only one Pokemon Center. And it's an outdoor facility just like Paldea.

Gender neutral bathrooms along with boy/girl ones? Uh-oh, don't tell the right-wing weirdos on X.

More pokemon to catch as well. Even Jacq-strap gives you a special egg. I hope it's something...

And then we meet these two oddballs. O'Nare and...the other one. I don't remember the other one. Biff or Billy or Monty Q Moneybags. Shit, I don't care. They're part of the Pokemon version of the Illuminati. And you'll find them in weird places throughout Kitakami and Paldea. Even on the jagged tippy-tops of the Great Crater. Follow them enough times and O'Nare will battle you a couple of times and you can get a few goodies like nuggets, big nuggets, and a phone case.

There's also a rumor that these two are really Nemona's parents. There's no proof of that and as of this date of posting, we don't know Nemona's parents. I have theories that she's the product of Goku and one of the compulsive gamblers on Kakegurui.

The point of this school trip is to go all over Kitakami and take selfies in front of certain landmarks. Each place tells you parts of a story involving a man, an ogre pokemon, and three "savior" pokemon. Through it all, you're with Kieran. That shy little cinnamon roll.

And then it's time for this mask festival. And you meet Kieran's grandpar...

Huh.

I could be wrong, but did Jessie and James wear disguises like this long ago? Nope? Sorry, my imagination! Okay, moving on.

At this festival, you can play this Ogre-busting game where you have to place mochis up before certain hungry pokemon eat em' up.

You can keep playing this game for a chance at winning a shiny Munchlax.

During the festival, you and Carmine come across that ogre pokemon mentioned prior and a teal mask. Hence, the name of the first DLC.

From this point on, you're going to learn more about Ogerpon. How he's not a bad pokemon and that the tale is fabricated.

And all of this is destroying the cinnamon roll. Kieran always loved the ogre from the stories and feels a little betrayed when you and Carmine hide the new revelations from him.

He is now a stale cinnamon roll.

It's not long before the three "savior" pokemon from the story crash the DLC and run amok all over Kitakami. Eating everything, stealing Ogerpon's precious masks, and turning into titan-sized pokemon.

So, let's get all of these masks back for Ogerpon and defeat those giant, toxic nightmares.

Ogerpon gets a happy ending where the villagers apologize for how it was treated by their ancestors.

Kieran will fight you again for Ogerpon, which ends something like this.

Oh, get up off the floor you drama queen. Shinji Ikari has more dignity than you right now.

And then you fight Ogerpon in a battle.

It's going to be tough since it has four masks, he's tera during the whole battle, and each mask changes his second type. But once defeated, you can catch it with 100% rate.

That's actually it. I was surprised when I finished it so fast. I was worried about taking too long playing it because I had a birthday trip around the same time of release. Speaking of...

I still find this cute.

After the Teal Mask main story, there were a few things we could do.

Like donating your hard-earned moolah to the caretaker in Kitakami. I know he ain't worth it like Honey in Sword/Shield, but...

Nah, I've got nothing.

You can finish off your Kitakami pokedex. There should be 200 entries. And if you fill 150 entries, you can help Perrin.

First of all, we were all wrong about who Adaman was ancestor to. I still want to believe that Adaman is somehow connected to Mikey from Tokyo Revengers. It's not possible, but I'd like to. Good on the creators for giving us Perrin in this game.

The game takes a small turn into Pokemon Snap! territory for a second as you have to take snapshots of pokemon in the wild.

And then you battle the special Hisuian pokemon.

This little fella is different from Legends Arceus. This is known as the Bloodmoon Ursaluna. And no, you can't evolve your Ursarring in this game. After you finish this mini game, Perrin will reward you with Hisuian Growlithe.

Fast forward three months later when you get that call from Clavell and has an old friend of his who wants to meet you.

Let's checkmark another gay couple to the Scarlet/Violet game I approve of.

Cyrano here is the director of Blueberry Academy and wants you to be an exchange student. Remember, this is the school that Kieran and Carmine go to and that Briar teaches at.

I tried to write something a little more thought provoking this time without too much drummage in the background. It came out smoothly, and I do think it's quite the haunting melody. I was unaware that Andrew wanted me to finish the original loop, and someone else remixed a longer ending for it, doing quite a fantastic job.

Author commentary:

0:46 - And there's the GPS coordinates of John's house, in the "YEARS IN THE PAST" panel. Go to google maps and look it up. The neighborhood depicted in the panel to the right will look very familiar, lakes and all, if you zoom in sufficiently. John's house even has a special address, though if you look at photos of the real house, it doesn't look much like his house at all. Also, we find out WV's station was a huge can all along, and laugh. Except that later, we find out that it was actually ANOTHER thing all along, that is appropriate for different reasons, and re-laugh about it. <spoil>cork</spoil>

1:02 - PM's station is the apple shaped pod that grew and fell from this giant tree. The tree grew from the meteor "seed" that destroyed John's house 413 years ago. The design of the station is always related to the player's entry object. The station's terminal is meant to "control" the client player of the kid whose house once existed where that station is. So WV's station, which was in Rose's location, gives commands to John, because John is Rose's client player, and she commands his game similarly. And the apple station commands Jade, because she'll be John's client player, etc. Did you realize this?

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the fact that the first station is almost literally an apple that fell from a tree is the reason all of the stations have Apple keyboards? SHIT, GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO PRETEND THAT WAS INTENTIONAL: MIND BLOWN.

JIHYO       ZONE (2023)

Jihyo doesn't get enough flowers for how good this EP is, I don't think. Still, the EP did chart well, sell well, and Jihyo has gone on record to say that she's proud of this album, and that she did exactly what she set out to do with it. She was involved in the music and lyrics for all 6 of the B-sides.

For me, it's an EP that is made more beautiful and special for Jihyo's involvement. It hits harder when I think about how Jihyo mentioned in an interview that after TWICE, she'll probably just retire and rest. God knows she deserves it. Though, I can't help but selfishly hope that she'll continue to release solo music after TWICE.

A couple weeks ago, I was going 35km/h on my bike, the wind in my hair, sun in my face, 'Killin' Me Good' in my ears, the vibes were so good that I didn't want to slow down, and, predictably, I ate absolute shit on the bike path. I thought I'd broken my bike, and was a minute away from having to call my dad, but I fixed the brakes and reattached the chain, headed home, still listening to Jihyo.

I almost subscribed to Jihyo's bubble just to tell her I crashed my bike at 35km/h to 'Killin' Me Good'. Good times.

NAYEON IM NAYEON (2022)

Where NA is the EP I listen to more, IM NAYEON is the EP that I think is more interesting sonically. In the year of 2022, what do you do with bubblegum pop to make it interesting again? You give it to TWICE's Im Nayeon.

In 2024, this album holds up, and is, I think, Nayeon's current magnum opus. Only she could have made this album sound the way it does; it's the exact concept that brings out and heightens her charm, vocal colour, dance style.

My favourite track is 'Sunset', because it is such a sweet and simple song, though what makes it really stand out to me is the drums that come in at the 1:02 minute mark, after Nayeon croons, 'In my dream I just gave you my star / I feel silly when I look into your eyes,' and then continues to play throughout the song. It's perfect. I remember that the first time I heard it was in a car, driving on the freeway. I remember which stretch of road I'd seen as those drums played. That's how much this song affected me

Jeff Buckley Grace (1994)

When I was in Hong Kong in February this year, I listened this record on a loop while I did The Peak walking trail. Now that I'm remembering, I did actually play this record throughout my entire 3-month trip throughout Asia from November, 2023, until February 2024. So I probably also did listen to it while I hiked up Inwangsan Mountain in Korea in December last year, which remains, by and large, one of my favourite memories of that trip. I’ve put on this album while cooking dinner, the opening notes of ‘Mojo Pin’ settling me where I needed to be. It’s a perfect opening song to induce someone into a trance. Can you tell I went through a major break-up this year.

TWICE Between 1&2 (2022)

This EP is home to TWICE’s best B-Side of all time, but you wouldn’t know it because it plays right after ‘Queen of Hearts’, and it shouldn’t.

While I've made peace with the track order of this mini now, ‘Basics’ is the song I overlooked on each of my listens when I checked out Between 1&2 way back when it released in 2022. It’s actually only when someone posted about ‘Basics’ on Tumblr this year that I gave the song a listen and went—holy shit. How did I miss this?

I scoured the track list and saw the problem. There it was. ‘Basics’ is track number 3, sandwiched between ‘Queen of Hearts' and ‘Trouble’, two just really big songs that would drown out whichever tracks precede and succeed them.

Anyway. I want 'Basics' blaring on full blast as my coffin gets lowered into the ground.

Can I admit that this is towards the bottom of the list because I've only ever given it one proper listen, and on each listen now, I switch it off after 'Casual'? I very sincerely do love the songs from the album that I love, namely, 'Femininomemon', 'Red Wine Supernova', 'Casual', 'HOT TO GO!', 'My Kink Is Karma', 'Pink Pony Club'.

As an album overall, I'm not convinced by the track ordering, and I don't know if Chappell Roan does ballads well (though, well, 'Casual' is pretty ballad-lite, no?). 'Coffee' is misstep in a sequence of otherwise solid of opening tracks. It's enough of a misstep that, for me, stamps the record with a question mark that wouldn't otherwise be there.

It's funny, I gave 'Casual' a listen when I saw someone I was following on Tumblr—who'd become a Chappell Roan fanblog, and I couldn't remember who they were originally, and they've since switched to a different URL and I've no idea which this blog is now—raving about it. This was right while Chappell's audience was still mainly made up of lesbians/queers, and right before she was catapulted into the mainstream. I could have been part of the early wave and say I liked her before she became mainstream-famous.

But I... I admittedly have a bit of a traditionalist streak, and was scandalised by the lyrics of 'Casual'. I am someone who prefers to listen to music I can sing to, and I was not about to start singing, 'Knee deep in the passenger seat and you're eating me out / Is it casual now?' as a stone butch. Well. Catch me screaming the lyrics during car rides now. Huge L for me on all sides.

Still, I think I'll probably change my mind about this album over time. I want the experience that this album offers. I just don't think my heart is open enough right now for it.

Ryan Adams Demolition (2002)

I received news that my friend's remains had been found earlier this year, after almost 3 years of him being missing. An avid music lover, his family and loved ones compiled a huge Spotify playlist of songs he'd loved, and one of them was 'Dear Chicago'.

It's funny. I put on the playlist as I made a long, late-night drive back home. I don't have Spotify premium, so I couldn't pick and choose the songs to play.

The song came to me at a perfect crossroad of mourning for my friend and mourning for a long-term relationship that had come to a really bad and bitter end. It almost feels like fate that it played on shuffle.

When Adams sings, 'I'm gonna die alone and sad,' I really—I mean, yeah, the lyrics really resonated with me. And the way he sings it. I kept writing these lyrics over and over in my diary entries. Because that was the way I really felt. And it was the way I hoped my friend didn't feel when he passed.

Never in my life did I think I'd give Ryan Adams' music a proper listen, let alone actually like any of his songs, let alone like an actual album enough to talk about it publicly, but here we are. I really considered just leaving it off the list entirely, but I genuinely, unfortunately, I do like Demolition, and unfortunately, I will keep listening to it. My impulse to present something of an authentic self won out. This blog is meant to be my music diary, after all.
