#txt#like i feel like if i sat down i could write a whole essay about the s6 newbies but god theres so much there that like#UGH its like that post i made a while back about home but like.#as someone who has been the 'im gay but not like that kind of gay haha' position there is so much self hatred within that attitude#where obviously it does not excuse shitty behavior to fellow queer people but especially when you are in the position where youre#essentially the only queer person the people around you know its. really something.#and even if he doesnt secretly listen to gaga or whatever its still. youre left without a space. i dont know how to explain it very well#but i feel like people reducing him to an annoying character for it dont understand the implications. even the writers probably didnt#but like i said home as a song celebrates the friendships formed in the glee club and serves as the beginning of the connections for#the newbies#led by the only two who knew eachother beforehand#they arent singing together but theyre whistling together yknow. learning to trust.#and spencer is by himself! he may be in an environment he technically feels comfortable in but he is alone there.#and like roderick for his weight or jane for her gender or mason and madison for their codependence#he is isolated.#yeah i have thoughts about glee s6.
