Shadowbeans angst edition. Lizzie literally walked Joel to his death willingly. Lizzie herself was an absolute rollercoaster of a character. Tip was not playing around. Like, at the end of the game, she was straight up insane, the only words she would ever say "We trusted you." But I don't mean to overshadow Joel, that one was a joy to watch in the graveyard.

Desert Duo, who were overshadowed basically the entire game. Talk about irony. Pollyn and Aleksy made a for a very... entertaining time. "Come sit on my lap" you shall live forever.

BigB. Holy mother of god BigB. He deserves a category of his own. This man had a decent into insanity every single day and he made it everyone's problem. Nes, on the other hand, is just as insane.

Crastle Duo aka me and Chai. Fun fact we never interacted when alive and the entire teaming situation was because of a coincidence. But we made up for it in the dead chat with two GUT WRETCHING HEART SHATTERING ROLEPLAY SESSIONS oh my good lord they hurt. We're still a team

It was evening once again, another day down the drain. The Plainers had always eaten together, every night, a simple thing that meant so much to them. But tonight is different. Gem is dead. She died this morning, in front of them all. It hurt everyone, but it was agony for Tango. His heart was split in two the second he saw the skulk seeping through the wound on her back.

Pearl was trying her best to keep spirits high, but there was still a heavy atmosphere in the house. Their sun had set, and now they were left stumbling in the dark.

As per usual, Gem's soup was left out on the table. Everyone would grab whatever container was handy was fill them to the brim. But there was no banter or laughter as they ate. Just silent remorse for the friend missing from the table. Something else was wrong. Tango stared down at the table. He didn't move to eat the soup, just watching it like it will bring her back.

"Hey Tango, you okay?"

He lifted his head, just enough to look at Pearl. Her face was a mask of worry, with a sliver of pity, but it gave Tango no comfort. She didn't know. She would never understand the heart-wracking pain he was going through. Gem was gone, and he couldn't stop her from going, stop her from leaving everything they had built to rot away.

Did he do it? Was he the one to cause her demise? In all honesty, Tango...didn't know. He couldn't remember a lot of things, what if he forgot killing her? Was it just another coincidental memory gap? Or is something more cynical at play? There was so many different questions and thoughts and voices and eyes and eyes so many eyes. They are watching. Is this 'fun?' Is this what you want from us? To die by a friend's hand?? He just wanted them all to stop.

He never responded to Pearl, just dropped his head and continued looking down.Nobody pushed him further. The Plainers know better than that.

He never finished the soup.

“What if I Could Make The Wait Worthwhile?”

GIVE IT UP FOR DAY 4 OF VENTOBER BABY

“I still can’t understand how you’re able to keep a straight face when people talk about you when you’re nearby.” You said with a giggle, laying on the lap of your boyfriend. Venti laughter soon accompanied yours as you reminisced on the now ended Weinlesefest.

“To be quite honest, there have been times when someone in Mondstadt will say ‘Barbatos’ and I end up turning around thinking they’re talking to me specifically.” Venti replied. This made you burst into laughter more.

As you laughed you rolled over on your side as Venti smiled down at you softly. You never truly know, what you do to him, and perhaps you’ll never know. From the moment you confessed to him that fateful birthday, things had never been the same between you two. In a good way, of course. Even if you hadn’t confessed, he had wanted to spend an eternity with you by your side. Ever since you came into his life, he could never imagine a future without him, neither could imagine a future without the other. He had heard you speak to Jean about a possible future with him, considering she’s been married to Lisa for the longest time, and he couldn’t have been happier to stumble across that conversation.

Your laughter quickly died down as the thought of what’s soon to come crossed your mind. You sat up, a your eyes filled with sorrow.

“Are you alright, Windblume?” Your boyfriend asked, concerned.

“I know you already said this was coming, but… do you really have to go?” You asked in a whisper. The bard immediately knew what you were talking about. His hibernation. After each Weinelesefest, Venti has to go into a sort of hibernation. You both knew that this was coming, but it still didn’t lessen the pain from the da t that you wouldn’t be able to hear or speak to each other for months.

“I’m sorry Windblume, but I have to. I can’t help it as a Whisp. We both know this.” He spoke softly, attempting to comfort you. Venti took his hand and cupped your cheek, which you leaned into without hesitation. “I promise I’ll be back before you know it.”

“Sure, but… the wait is gonna be so boring. I already can’t stand a day without being with you.” You replied, attempting to lighten the mood. You placed your hand over the one Venti was using to hold your cheek, bathing in the few remaining moments you would have with him for a while.

“I know it will, but what if I could make the wait worthwhile?” Venti asked with a smile. You cocked a brow at his question, but ultimately nodded. Venti took his hand away from your cheek and stood up, extending that same hand to help you stand. You took your turn to stand as you watched Venti reach into one of his pockets, both of your hands remaining intertwined.

Venti kneeled down as he pulled the now open box out of his pocket. Tears pricked your eyes as you brought your remaining hand up to your face, covering your mouth. Venti looked at you with the most you had ever seen from him as he spoke;

“My love, my warrior, my shining star, my Windblume…

Will you marry me?”

I’ve been rewatching early seasons of spn and I just can’t help but be angry all over again. This is a stale take so feel free to scroll past but I gotta rant. It is astoundingly clear that they did not intend to write Dean as bisexual. It was all meant to be a joke. I grew up in the Midwest and it is evident to me that all those instances we use to prove dean’s bisexuality were meant to be comic relief, because what’s funnier than a Macho Dude Accidentally Getting Into Gay Situations??! This doesn’t surprise me, like I said I grew up here and for most of my life gay stuff was considered funny. We’d play gay chicken at parties and call our friends gay slurs and everyone would laugh. That’s not new. Dean gets flirted with by a guy and gets flustered? That’s funny! Comic relief! Dean does something vaguely construed as effeminate? That’s gay! Haha! It’s not new. It is actually insidiously familiar. To the supernatural writers, queerness was always the punchline. What bothers me is that at some point, when they realized that their intended audience wasn’t actually their most devoted audience, when they noticed it was us, the queers, who loved the show and related to the characters, they took advantage. Because to us, those little instances weren’t funny, they weren’t comic relief. They were instances of character development that we desperately needed, that we related to. With our willingness to choose to see goodness, we decided Dean Winchester was not the vehicle for a poorly executed homophobic joke, no, he must be one of us. The writers have known the whole time, and instead of just backtracking, instead of ceasing with the the homophobic comic relief, they purposely continued to bait us. They did that knowingly. They did it knowingly for so long that they created the gayest ship to ever sail and then made fun of us for pointing it out. Did it get better or worse in later seasons? I’m not sure, it definitely got different, but those early seasons are damning. And listen, yeah this colors my opinions of the show to an extent, but if being in the Harry Potter fandom has taught me one thing, it’s death of the author. Yeah they didn’t intend it, but the supernatural writers accidentally wrote the best bisexual character in television history and his name is Dean Winchester. And I love that silly little dude

Honestly, I’ve gotten so used to queerbaiting in media that if people haven’t told me that there are queer characters in something, I can be looking at/listening to the gayest shit to ever exist, and I won’t actually believe that it’s not either accidental or just there to mess with me until the writers slap me in the face with it.

Like, even if I know that there were queer people involved in creating it.

Anyway, I resent the fact that my ability to enjoy a good queer slow burn has been ripped away from me.
