continuing off my last ask they me think of the movie i watched recently called "past lives" that's fully centered around the concept of fate (it's so good 10/10 i really want to see artem review it),,, i won't spoil but it's like hshsjadhsjhdjshs "destined by fate" but fate doesn't tell you what it holds for you??

after watching it i looked up more about the term "inyeon" (korean term for fate or providence) which the movie heavily emphasizes on and found a reddit post talking about it (i'll paste the link below <3) where they quote a comment explaining its meaning and what it says is that inyeon isn't just about the person you're destined to end up with, but also the people you encounter in your life. basically, with inyeon, your string of fate isn't simply linear but also looped around every person you'll interact with. to reach the person at the end of your "string of fate," you're supposed to treat each interaction with respect or else you'll never find them AND LEARNING THIS MADE ME LOVE THE MOVIE EVEN MORE 🥹🥹🥹

a lot of destiny tropes give the characters an easy way to end up together kinda like the opposite of "doomed by the narrative" as in they could do simply nothing and still find their way to each other, but to reference the comment from earlier: your destiny doesn't end the moment your meet your "destined one." artemrosa learned so much and worked so hard before they became a couple a d still continue to grow both individually and together even after they started dating 🥹 they're still the same precious individuals that they were in their pre-dating arc, only wiser and stronger with combined forces 🫶 they aren't together just because fate wanted them to be, they Made it happen and they're still Making it happen‼️ something something every choice i made, every path i took (indirectly and directly) led me to you

like. i genuinely wanna know more about how they met/knew each other in college because it's SO fascinating to me that their paths have crossed so many times, and they don't just simply get together. a lot of things happen that they learn from that shapes them into their best versions that also complement each other. to me it's like,, no matter what happens, what they feel for each other or how the end up, their paths will always be destined to cross, whether it's by brushing past each other on the street and never meeting again or becoming each other's partners both in work and in life and as seen from the different universes that hoyo has shown us so far, we can see that they always end up becoming each other's most cherished person, despite the varying journies that led them to that point WUAWUAWUA

alright- because this is way awake me- I didn't read back my tags until today- i wasn't speaking properly in those tags (i said sleeping instead of reading... and other messy tags)- I def didn't convey half of what I wished to- (esp because we're limited to thirty tags...) anyways! scooby doo brains unite hehe~ it was an absolute fever dream to read this at 3-4am- (esp when I knew I was gonna help a friend move but once I start sth *esp a fic this good* I must finish it-) It was worth every second of missed sleep- The emotions were so powerful 😭💖 and I felt them to the nth degree- Omg?!? You wrote it without knowing the ending!? I love that sm- because that ending!? Was beyond what words can express- You tied up every end- And omg!? I was looking for the word foil- and god- I loved the use of it- You're so right the slow burn was def burning that midnight oil at midnight creek!!! 😭😭 Omg?!?! You imagine fics as movies too omg!? Heck yeah 😭 The parallel between the sisters!!! Omg it was one of my favorite little bits- You may have not realized it- but it was just so goooodddd- I was hoping for a brutal fight sequence with Bonnie- and you provided all that and more! I was sincerely left with my jaw dropped it was so good- (what I was trying to express was how it felt fated that after yn named it clyde- he jokingly named his bonnie and once he saved yn from mika- he called it bonnie again. It was as if their relationship was fated for it to happen the moment after the reader named clyde- because bonnie and clyde were together til the end/no matter what- if that makes more sense?) No it's not strange that you liked writing it- it was beyond amazing- i'm so glad you enjoyed writing it 😭💖 because for me as a reader it was clear how much love and thought was put into this fic- I lllloooovveeed that scene- (I def couldn't express it that night and meant to fix my tags but my sleepy brain said *post*)- I loved the other two fics in this series- and I just- even thinking back into the story I'm just so content- it was my everything- (ngl this makes me want to read it all over again). I just spent the weekend at a thermal spa (with a friend who has chronic pain) and therefore I am delivering this idea to you:

There's a thermal spa about an hour from where you live, hot springs with water that's just the right temperature to soothe your aching bones. There's a pool with salt water and one that contains sulfur, and you know full well that Shinsou absolutely loathes both of these because they make his skin itch.

But when the weather gets colder, or you've complained about being in pain a couple days in a row, he cancels all his other plans, packs your bathing suit, and drives you there.

It's always a whole-day event. And even though his skin itches, there's nothing better than to be in the warm water with you, cuddle with you, annoy you with jokes about the color of your swimsuits - he thinks you two should be matching but Tsuyu gifted you a Froggie green one that you adore and he still wears the bright yellow shorts Kaminari once pressured him to buy.

And when it gets dark outside, you're still outside in the warm water, huddled together - Shinsou says it's for warmth but you know he just wants to cuddle - and look up at the stars above or the flickering lights around the pool that make it look like you're surrounded by a thousand fireflies.

I love baby because as much as I love all thirteen of my dorks, I can’t imagine having anyone else as my bias. Yes, I had stanning issues and I admittedly still do, Choi Seungcheol is still my main bias wrecker after lol what 11 months? You can’t just forget your first bias. Anyway, because. Lee Jihoon makes my heart so soft, every time he’s adorable, he doesn’t even have to try. He makes me so happy and he’s just such a hard working person and what is there he cannot do? Like what 5 instruments? Studied classical music? Dances like an adorable little fluff bumblebee BUT IS ACTUALLY OKAY BUT HIS BODY MIGHT BE SMALL BUT HIS CHARISMA IS NO JOKE AND YOU ARE NOT LIVING IF YOU HAVEN’T HEARD HIM RAP. • How did you “discover” kpop and how did you discover vixx? OK SO IT WAS A FATEFUL AUGUST 25TH 2016! A THURSDAY AFTERNOON AFTER SCHOOL! I hopped onto my computer after school. Bought some Harry Potter things and a couple of Agents of SHIELD mugs! I was just so amazed and the cosplayers????? amazing. they all looked incredible! The crew were lovely as well and had a laugh with some of them :) 

And Carlos is a babeeee. He is such a lovely guy to talk to and we had a little joke about me not being completely caught up with The Flash yet.

Ernie Hudson is such a nice man! I had a photoshoot booked with him and Ecto-1 and he was a bit late, I think. But walking up to people in the queue, shaking their hands and getting selfies with them. And when I went up for my photo, I was greeted in a hug??? omg. Was not expecting that but!!! Such a nice bloke.

I got front row for Ming’s talk and I nearly put my hand up to ask a question but like... anxiety made me chicken out. All in all, the people I’ve met have been absolutely incredible. Ming-Na Wen is hilarious irl (omg I died when she was telling us the story about how she told her mum she was on ER and her mum was like ‘how do you spell that?’ LMAO BLESS HER.)

I legit can’t even think straight! I’ve been up since five and I am shattered but i am buzzing and i’m just??? sos soososoooo happy i cannot believe this has happened. The only downside of today was paying £8 for fish and chips (first of all, what the fuck. I wouldn’t have spent that but me and mum really fancied it) and it was disgusting and not worth the money. Upside? We got home quickly and nan’s buying us chinese food.

Okay what‘s new with me.... nothing lmao. I think i‘ll get my driver‘s license soon like i was supposed to have my test in june but that‘s probably not happening so i hope my test will be during the beginning of july because mid/late july i have exams and that‘s already enough stress :( (also i feel like i‘ve been talking about my driving for like six months and still don‘t have my license eldjdkdj (or is it licence???? I think license is the verb but idk) BUT! that‘s just because i didn‘t have any lessons between december and march? because of covid and i‘ve been just waiting to get a test date since april 😭 but because of covid everything is taking so long and yeah </3
