Day 30/100 #the100dayproject I didn’t have a lot of time today because I had old friends to visit, a lunch date out with my husband, and sunshine to soak in before the rains start again. So I indulged in a little of my old #scrapbooking to display some of the #middlegradebooks I’ve been studying, enjoying, and often getting lost in. I’m looking forward to continuing all these series. Working (slowly) through my April reading list... Spenser Confidential hit Netflix, and while it felt more like a throwback to Spencer For Hire than the books, it was a good time and I hope they make more. I’ve had Mortal Stakes, the third Spenser book, on my table for a while (and some of my own detective stories I’ve been trying to write), I decided to go back and listen to the first two Spenser books before starting that one. Other than Robert Parker, I’ve also managed to be impressed with “The Winterhouse Mysteries” and “On the Come Up”, disappointed with “Down the River Unto the Seas”, and add more books to my Libby loans than I could actually get through since it’s the end times. Currently reading the third and final book in the Winterhouse series. The entire series has been excellent; it’s a great coming of age story that touches on family history, destiny, all woven together with magical powers, and secret plots.
