The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin . A charming little novel that is both clever and fun. The familiar bones of murder mysteries are evident throughout the pages, with sixteen people gathered to an apparent strangers house to solve their murder and inherit their millions, but Raskin does her best to wrap these up in something new and dazzle you with interesting characters and moments of genuine humour. I have read it multiple times since then.
