⋆★ abt : The reader and Abraham Ford go on a supply run together and have to fight off some walkers. They work together to protect each other and get the supplies they need, and they feel even closer after the experience.

⋆★ extra : I’m gonna start writing more frequently, also hope my Abraham lovers like this :)

As you both approached the abandoned convenience store, you had noticed a group of walkers lurking outside. Abraham quickly devised a plan to get in and out as quickly as possible.

Abraham took the lead, his machete at the ready. You followed closely behind, gun loaded and aimed. You both moved quickly through the aisles, grabbing what the camp needed and dodging the walkers that stumbled around the store at the small noises you’d make.

Just when you thought you were in the clear, a group of walkers appeared out of nowhere. Maybe ten or eight of them you’d hadn’t had time to count. Because Abraham and you had starting fighting them off back to back, taking out the walkers one by one. You’d felt a rush of adrenaline as you fought, your heart pounding out of her chest. you were grateful for Abe’s presence, his quick reflexes keeping you both safe, plus his presence helped you stay calm during this.

After what felt like hours, the last walker was down. You and Abe were still back to back, panting and sweating. They looked at each other and smiled, relieved that they had made it through together.

As you walked back to Alexandria both tired and your muscles all strained,even so you couldn't help but feel closer to Abe than ever before. You were grateful for this experience, for the way it had brought you both together and made you both stronger.

When you’d finally made it back to Alexandria, abe had collapsed onto the couch you followed along shortly. holding each other close, grateful for the safety and comfort of your home. you felt a deep sense of love and gratitude for the man beside you. you knew that you two would get through anything as long as you had each other.
